Plot 0: Music analisis i guess

Not gonna lie... part of the delay is that i didnt want to my rage induced discourse filled mind at the time get into the wrap up (plus the good old lazyness) so now after so long i think i can do this better. But still gonna check each song and see what do we get of each.

Let’s Just Live: This opening actually grew on me with the pass of time, specially in the sense of moving forward after all the crap volume 3 puts the character and to extention US throught. Now the full version... IM NOT FUCKING CRYING I SWEAR! TuT AND NOT IM READING THE TRIVIA AND FUCK IM LEAVING! (actually nope, but damn this song is emotional... and slightly Nuts & Dolts because i said so xD Will explain eventually).

Like Morning Follows Night: Blake song 2 sentences in, one verse later is basically Blake and Sun’s arc put into song and not shippy at aOKAY WHO THOUGHT THE RAPPING PART WAS A GOOD IDEA???? Ok its not bad only caught me off guard and is the only too shippy part of the song and somewhat rubbed me the wronh way.

Bad Luck Charm: Qrow’s song of course.Very basic, very effective... and sadly not exactly inaccurate... i mean, part of it is Qrow probably being to emo (funny he is Ruby’s uncle xD) but he HAS base on his claims... i do wonder. If offered the oportunity to get rid of his semblance... would Qrow take it?

This life is Mine: oh dear here we go, Weiss song where she FINALLY flips the musically proverbial middle finger to Schnithole so she can have her own life. Interesting to note? The song came in 3 layers: Basic, rebel, fuck you. The one we heard on the chapter this song premiered was basic, Weiss escaping is the rebel part... im so eager to see the fuck you part one day :D (sidenote, i heard of the sick guitar this had before... and for some reason i always pictures Klein playing it... one can dream :P)

Home: Calming... and one of those are vague enough to be any kind of song. Right now im picturing it to be from Ruby to Yang (and the rest of team RWBY most likely) probably helped for the scene it played. Not much to add, except that now im asking why is wasnt use to the ending of the volume... and i think i have an answer for that... in the next song.

Armed and Ready: Volume 3 was the lick our wounds period, now? ITS TIME FOR THE COMEBACK! and the poster-woman for that is not other than our dear Yang Xiao-Long Armed (goddamn it Barb) and ready to go back in the game and do what she has to... and yet... im playing the role of Qrow here as a bad luck charm in saying guys... prepare for dissapointment. Not that things will be bad to the point of no return... but something sounds off in the song, it doesnt get me HYPED as it should... and it makes me worried of Yang once more, she is on the positive days after her accident... what will happen when we crashed head first into a bad day? Well... only time will tell i guess, but just as an extra comment here’s a lyric from the song that stroke me hard  “Revenge, my happy ever after” And as we learned thanks to las volume... there are NO happy ever afters. (Sidenote: oddly and sadly just like in volume 1 most of Yang development comes in form of song, i mean volume 4 did a far better job... but still).

Bmblb: DO I REALLY HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS? My shipping heart has only so much tolerance for this shit! *sigh* fine let’s see what do we get from this: yeah, gonna need new teeth after this DAMN IT WAS TOO SWEET! xD And okay i will give the credit that besides Boop is the best shipping song in this last 3 volumes, and could past as a normal song in any radio if you ask me, but i dont think imma play it again.

Boop (Acoustic): Slightly sad we broke the tradition of opening in acoustic, with that said... THIS IS AN ACOUSTIC FOR THE BEST (ALIVE) SHIP IN THE SHOW SO FUCK IT I APPROVE!!! :D

You were an EMT.

The two of you pulled up to meet with the other Autobots, you exiting the vehicle before he transformed. You were in awe as he and the rest of the cars all changed.

The biggest one, their leader, gave a rundown of everything that was happening once he confirmed Sam’s identity. This was just a recap for you as Ratchet had already explained. The teenage boy just stood there stuttering not really knowing how to process everything and you frowned again. That was when you really took notice of two teens just standing there. Having known what was expected of Sam Witwicky you frowned slightly.

“I don’t know about this Ratchet, he’s just kid.” You commented to the alien you had formed a quick bond with.

“And who might you be?” The one called Optimus inquired.

You gave him your name before the other yellow autobot, who you’d later learned was Bumble Bee, uttered something through his radio. It was hard for you to hear but the other robots seemed to be use to it as Ratchet responded immediately.

“The human. I like her.” Ratchet sounding irritated.

Bumblebee made another comment and right before Ratchet could respond one of the others chimed in.

“Wait why do they get humans?” Jazz asked incredulously. “I want one too!”

“Enough! Humans are not pets.” The one call Optimus Prime stated sternly, clearly tired of their bickering. You held your laugh, highly amused.

They were like siblings. A family.

“Exactly I’m just here to help and be a better tour guide than these kids can be.” You confirmed practically forcing your services on them. “Besides they need adult supervision. From the looks of it, you all do.” You grinned at everyone around you. Optimus gave a nod, agreeing.

“She stays. Let’s move.”

In that short amount of time things moved rather quickly. You watched the Autobots accidentally destroy Sam’s backyard when attempting to retrieve the glasses, you were all arrested, you escaped thanks to the Autobots, only to be arrested again.

Fail.

Finally you ended it some secret base. How get you weren’t alone. The government had apparently been on a roll with kidnapping civilians who “knew too much “.

Things weren’t going great but quickly went left when the Decepticons, the Autobot rivals, came to retrieve Megatron.

A war from another planet had officially made Earth its battleground.

You were nervous, trying to figure out how to calm everything down before things started to escalate. Nobody was going to get anywhere with all the bickering. That’s when you saw him.

It had been what? Two years?

Still, without even knowing it, without even knowing you were present, he was still able to make your heart be slow and fast at the same time. The army had aged him, but for the better making him all the more attractive but you couldn’t focus on that right now. Especially when you heard:

“The cryogenic system is failing! We're losing NBE One!”

All the soldiers begin to pack everything that they could to prepare in a fight the way they always did. It was an mirable the way Linux game orders in his men took them without a second thought. The trust there.

“That’s good. Get all the ammo you got.”

“Everything you can carry. Bring it.”

Tearing your eyes away from your former lover you grab Sam.

“Come on, we need Bee.” You reminded him, nodding in Simmons direction

“You got to take me to my car.” Sam said, then repeated when he was ignored. “You have to take me to my car. He’s gonna know what to do with the Cube.”

“Your car? It's confiscated.”

“Then unconfiscate it.” You stared blankly.

“We do not know what will happen if we let it near this thing! -“

“You don't know.”

“Maybe you know, but I don't know.”

You rolled your eyes at the insufferable mans rambling.

This was really was more about ego who was in control more than anything. The guy running the ship, clearly was on a power trip. Unfortunately for him he was facing off against soldiers . The Captain who’s eyes you could feel staring at the side of your face.

A Captain and his soldiers. Ones that really dont like to lose and take serving their country seriously.

The guy who arrested you earlier continue to argue with Sam about getting him back to bumblebee when Lennox finally pulled out his gun sick of the back-and-forth.

“Take him to his car!”

As soon as he did so all hell broke loose and everyone from both parties pulled out a weapon.

“Drop it!”

It wasn’t until One of the sector seven agents pointed a gun at the back of Will’s head that you disable to another agent and took his gun and pointed it directly and held it directly at the one pointing the gun at your ex.

“I really wouldn’t.” You warned.

You were no soldier, but Will have taught you plenty before you broke up. So did your brother, before he passed away. He actually served alongside Will but died in combat. Biking. That’s part of why you were so hurt when Will re-enlisted. When he got promoted to Captain and chose the army over you. You were terrified of losing him the way you lost your brother. The break up wasn’t that messy but you both said things you didn’t mean. In attempts to mask your own pain and hurt one another.

You know. Hurt people, hurt people.

It’s still came to no surprise that you put a bullet in someone to protect him. Together or not you’d never let anything happen to him.

“I'm ordering you under S-Seven executive jurisdiction-“ Simmons ranted.

“S-Seven don't exist.” You interjected, earning a quick appreciative glance from Will.

“Right. And we don’t take orders from people that don’t exist.”

“I’m gonna count to 5. Okay-“ Simmons attempted to threat yet again.

“Well, I’m gonna count to three.” Will deadpanned.

You knew that look. God did you know that look and it was so wrong that you were so turned on.

Finally the Secretary of defense interfered telling Simmons to do what was being asked of him. Everyone relaxed slight, weapons lowering.

“Y/n,”

“Captain.”

The Captain and couldn’t help but watch you how do you get up and prepare to go.

“So that’s her huh?” Epps commented as Will watched you run off with Sam.

“Yeah..” Will answered, mind racing.

While he knew he’d eventually see you again, he didn’t think it would be like this. You looked breath taking.

“Damn. Shorty had your back that entire time.”

“Gear up,”

“What I’m just saying I thought she was gonna put a cap in his.” Epps shouted after his Captain receiving no response.

Will knew you had his back, you always would, the same way he would always have yours. He thought of you often, the break up between two inescapable, never feeling like he did the right thing. You were always not too far from the front of his mind. Him wondering how you were doing. If you were happy. If you found somebody else. There was no doubt he regretted what had transpired between the two of you. It was his fault. He knew that. You knew that. He had ample opportunity to fight for you and he didn’t. When he was promoted Captain he felt he had to choose between you and the army. He didn’t choose you the way he should’ve. In reality he could’ve had both. However hr so caught up proven himself to his deadbeat dad that he possibly let the best thing that ever happened to him go.

Not to mention trying to atone for your brothers death. It wasn’t his fault, but he still couldn’t shake it. So without talking to you he reenlisted. Needless to say where that got him.

Now hear the both of you were in the middle of an alien war. Yeah. This is the last place he thought he’d see you.

You were numb. The battle on the highway enough to freak you out. For mommy, just a moment you thought this might be a dream but no. This is all very real. One minute you guys were just entering the city trying to lay low, next thing you know - BOOM! The explosion knocked all of you over, injuring some, killing a few. Bumblebee’s legs were partially blown off.

Getting up off the pavement you waited for the ringing in your ear to subside as you stood up, trying to study yourself when you felt a pair of arms hold you still.

You knew it was Will just by the way he touched you, you blinked hard trying not to go down memory lane.

“Are you okay?” The concern in his voice was enough to make your heart skip a bear.

“Yeah,” you nodded slowly. “Yeah I’m fine.”

Slowly you removed yourself from his grip and went to check on Sam and Mikaela. Ratchet on the other hand -

“Hmm. His pheromone levels are-“ you quickly turned on him and glared.

“Ratchet I’ll turn you into a can opener if you don’t shut the hell up.”

The robot nearly held his hands up in the surrendering position as he followed you. Will had arranged an aircraft to pick up Sam and the cube while everyone else defended themselves against the deceptive cons in a hurry to get the cube far far away before Megatron arrived. Sam was in a panic and so Michaela, you could see Will’s short fuse getting ready to exploded. It was then you decided to be an escort.

“Sam, you can’t do this alone.” Michaela fussed.

“He won’t be alone.” You commented, causing all parties involved to look at you.

“I’m going with you.” You declared.

“No.” Will didn’t even hesitated as he stepped closer to you.

“Captain Lennox-“

“No!” You grabbed him by the front of his beer and pushed him back.

“Do you see what going on out there?!” You continued to hold on to him and you yelled at him over there chose. “We’re at a war. One we are extremely ill prepared for. So get your shit together! Sam is my responsibility. I have to get this kid to safety.”

This time your hands slid up the side of his face forcing him to look at you.

“Y/n..” he breathed out leaning down toward you, and for the first time during all this madness you could visibly see he was afraid.

“I’ll be back, Will.” You assured him, briefly resting your forehead against his.

Gathering himself he pulled away, looking toward Sam then back at you.

“Go. Go!”

And then we were running.. With nothing but an M16 strapped to your back and the pistol in your hand, you ran faster than you ever have before.

The four of you were under attack once more, you and Sam doing what you had to, to avoid getting snatched up as a fight Ironhide and Ratchet defended you. Unfortunately you were too close to one of the cars that went up in flames and you were thrown into another car from the blast.

“Y/n!” You could feel the blood on your forehead as you slowly pushed yourself up. As you tried to stand you immediately stopped feeling the pain in your thigh. Looking down could see the damage that had been done. The blood surrounding the afflicted area.

“Wha- what, what do i do?!” Sam asked frantically once he took notice of your injury.

“You gotta keep going Sam. I’ll be fine.”

He stood fo his feet, unsure of what to do. When Ironhide told him the same thing.

“Go!” You screamed once more.

Sam left and continued to run without you as you, as quickly as possible, as you tore your focus away from him to pull the shard of glass in your leg out. Ripping a piece of your shirt off you tightly tied it around your thigh in order to stop the bleeding. There was no point in going forward now but the return back to everyone else and help them fight.

You just had to avoid getting killed in the process.

You seen a car steering wheel, a Mountain Dew vending machine and and Xbox all turn into one of those freaky ass robots right before your eyes. All of which you helped others fight off. It was so surreal. In fact, if it wasn’t for the constant ringing in your ear from all the explosions you definitely think you were dreaming. You almost made it back to Lennox and his men when another Decepticon stood between between you and your destinations. They were definitely taking a beating. You saw Epps shooting a green laser indicating the robot that doubled as a helicopter wasn’t a friendly and decided to do what you could to keep the Decepticon from getting any closer to them and hurting any more civilians. In an attempt to draw it away from everyone else, you begin to fire your weapon giving it everything you had.

Unfortunately, the side effective taking its attention off the others meant putting the attention on you.

You ran trying to duck and dodge a bullets now directed your way.

But Will. Will’s heart dropped. Seeing you there defending yourself alone. His pause was brief, the air forces plan already in motion, before he started the motorcycle and was speeding in your direction.

“William!” You screamed for him fearfully as he drove straight toward the robot.

The only thing you could hear was your heartbeat pounding in your ears. You almost couldn’t breathe, you don’t remember the last time you ever felt so scared in your life. But it wasn’t your life you feared for was it?

He rushed forward and slid under the robot continuing to firing the launcher. All you could do was watch as he drove toward you. Toward the danger your mind wondering if he did that on a regular basis. Was this the life of a soldier? What he went through day after day when he was deployed?

Standing up he only spared the parts of the dismembered robot a glance before shouting and turning looking for you. In a matter of seconds he was standing directly in front of you and pulling you into his arms.

Relief.

There was nothing like physically being about to touch someone, hold someone to really know they were okay.

“So…” you began, suddenly feeling nervous. “...That was hot-“

Before you were able to get another word in, he captured your lips with his kissing you roughly and bringing you closer, hands on the small of your back. You couldn’t help it kiss him back just as fiercely put in every emotion you had into that kiss.

Every ounce of passion he had in body, put into this kiss, your lips just as soft, kiss just as pure as he remembered. When you kissed, he knew he was a goner and could never let you go again.

It has been two years since the last time you guys have been this close. This intimate. Reconnected. The feeling it gave you, the indescribable feeling, was one neither one of you ever wanted to forgo again. Pulling back slowly, you both had smiles on your faces, Will pulling you closer to plant a kiss on your forehead.

“Excuse me,” Epps interrupted.

The both of you turning your attention on him.

“As cute as this shit is it’s highly inappropriate in the middle of the battle. I’m just saying we are trying to stay alive and shit.”

one of the arguments I hate is the lgbt rep defense where people try to go but there is a lack of lgbt rep if you are against bb or say it shouldnt have happened you are a homophobe bs. also the implications we are calling bb forced because of the genders involved comes off as projection since I have seen them claim blacksun was forced on the viewers going there are plenty of possible same sex ships they should do one of those instead. the lgbt rep card isnt a valid shield from criticism.   good writing is the most important part for shipping and the chemistry involved caring about the lgbt community or being part of it doesnt mean you have to ship a same sex ship over a het ship in ship war it doesnt mean you have to support a same sex ship like bb  being teased when you feel it was badly written.  I have seen people go there are plenty of shows with het ship canon ( as if we only liked blacksun over bb because it was a het ship  we arent mad that the het ship didnt happen we are mad that years of buildup were thrown away for a ship that just had popularity . blacksun shippers have more reason to be upset then bb shippers would if say they hadn't thrown away the years of buildup for blacksun and  had a scene where blake goes I love you you are like a sister to me  or another scene which emphasized that blake and yang were just friends.

I think my initial disdain for the way Sun and Neptune are written came from how sick and tired I am of straight ships being forced on the audience when lots of us are in the lgbta community. Part of it was because my gay ships were sinking I’ll admit but honestly I’m just sick of forced straight ships especially in one of the only shows with enough well written female characters to /actually/ have believable gay ships. I don’t think I hate Sun and Neptune but I do hate how forced the ships are.

I think this is all the explanation needed(and all you need to dismiss people trying to take moral superiority over liking Bumblebee). Something the toxic side of the fandom loves to do is project and project hard. They cannot understand why someone would not think like them or like the things they do unless there’s something wrong with them or they contextualize it through what they themselves would do.And that’s one of them accidentally explaining how that relates to Bumblebee: wasps like it because it’s a gay ship. They thought Black Sun was forced/bad because it was not a gay ship. Therefore, since everyone must either think like them or be defective, clearly you think Bumblebee is forced because it’s not a straight ship. You don’t like it because it’s gay.“

basically they are just calling blacksun forced because it was a straight ship if sun was a girl they wouldnt make that claim so I cant take anytime I hear someone try to pull the you would ship bb if it was a m/f pairing  or wouldnt be calling it forced if it was a m/f pairing for if sun was a woman and yang a man they wouldnt be shipping bb and would call bb forced

if whether you ship  a ship or not  is determined by genders involved  like say if two ships were paired against the other and what causes you to ship one over the other  the pairing  is genders involved  it is a shallow reason   representation isnt more important then good writing

to the person that there were enough female characters for beliavable gay ships blacksun being canon wouldnt have taken away that possibility there are plenty of possible same sex ships like white rose or freezerburn or heck elderburn (the w/w ships  dont need to stick to relationships inside the team

team rwby dont have to all get into relationships with each other just because arkos and renora were things   just because team jnpr a team with an even split with males and females being partner ended up ship teased doesnt mean white rose and bb had to be things   there is nothing wrong with the idea that say yang ends up in a relationship outside of the team with a chick

heck say in the possibility that they all end up in het ships  there is nothing wrong with that  promising lgbt rep doesnt say that team rwby will be lgbt ( I still remember arryn referring to blake as the straight friend  which adds to my statement ) 

and no the fact that the song include yellow beauty and black the beast isnt evidence besides the fact the  songs  as crwby stated arent meaningful to show ( paraphrased) 

they outright stated that they werent looking to replicate the stories there are multiple people who can fit the role of yellow beauty

look at  adam he referenced the beast but ended up being an antagonist relationship

you can say  bb as a platonic relationship 

with blacksun fitting the beauty and the beast ( for sun helped with blakes development which is what the beauty did for the beast ) 

and blake  showed actual romantic interest in sun while she didnt show it to yang ( and yang didnt show romantic interest in blake sorry but winking at blake isnt flirty  yang asking for a dance isnt romantic coded ( not helped by how we only saw a piece of it before  sun takes the dance which yang had no problem with ) 

adam going  I will destroy everything you loves  includes friends and family  yang then appeared he saw her reaction then went starting with her  for she was nearby. that isnt evidence of romance also there was no reason for sun to lose the arm but there was plenty for yang ( getting injured isnt ship tease) 

blacksun got years of teasing , mutual attraction and development

( undoubtedly if sun was a woman and yang a man the people who shipped bb just because of lgbt rep would be mad and say it was queerbaiting they would be angrier than blacksun shippers were

blacksun got actual teasing it actually could be called queerbaiting in the above scenario unlike the situation where if bb didnt become canon ( for claims of queerbaiting would just be people who shipped a popular ship  and saw evidence where there was none misusing it  just because a ship is popular doesnt  mean it has actual evidence bb was just popular in the fandom because it involved 2 hot girls there was a reason why appeal to popularity is a fallacy there is a reason those people got angry at sun because blacksun was given so much while  bb hasnt gotten anything   the only way they could find anything is by wearing shipping goggles and twisting facts

its not like there wont be other chances for a same sex ship  in other shows ( reference to what  I saw someone said to korrasami shipper in an argument )

it really doesnt matter that there arent many shows with canon same sex ship  good writing is more important then that if a ship is forced/bad writing they deserve criticism like the last minute retcon korrasami which required korra to be ooc in the last two min and was something bryke only thought of when the finale was being made  ( korra and asami are incompatible ) and the narrative pointed to show ending with korra single with a hint to makorra getting back together  given they had overcame the flaws that led to the b2 breakup ( and figured out proper conflict resolution arguing is not the problem it was handling of it ) neither of them were ready for  a relationship  with anyone.    korra and asami were barely friends they barely interacted  (censorship explains a lack of say a kiss etc not lack of interactions in general ) asami showed in remembrances she couldnt support korra the way she needed to while mako showed he could when facing zaheer.

asami showed she was the one most likely to just view her as the avatar  ( which was korras  problem ) while tenzin proceeded to help korra by talking about her growth as a person while mako got a speech about what korra meant to him and how she inspired him a talk about korra the person .  

or direction change bb

people can be against bb and korrasami while still being lgbt  / non homophobic/ supportive with the idea of lgbt rep. just because you support lgbt community/ arent homophobic doesnt mean you have to be okay with every same sex ship 

its not like people supported every het ship

HI!!! Just finished reading the Dangerous Gift and boy do I have thoughts!!! Gonna put them below a cut for spoiler reasons

OK SO 

general thoughts I had were that It was pretty good! Not my favorite book but it was a necessary piece of the puzzle. from the snippets I had seen before, I definitely didn’t like snowfall. I was kinda tired from having a caps lock protag from 13 so I wasn’t looking forward to it. I get why Snowfall was that way but I would have preferred to see a more “cold” approach to her personality. I LOVED her character arc and how she grew tho.

NOW ONTO SOME OF THE IMPLICATIONS OF 14 

Glacier: I was in the camp that thought Glacier dying was stupid since we didn’t know much about her and I shipped her with Blaze. I still do, but seeing Snowfall’s POV made Glacier’s death more emotionally impactful. Still wishing for a Glacier winglet 

Jerboa II (III) : Holee shit where do I even start. Like, Darkstalker was fucked up but Jerboa was FUCKED UP. Like, maybe this showed us what Darky could have become if he was allowed to continue but...sweet lord....and the last spell??? The actual Jerboa II like what happened to her?? and Jerboa III is basically a clone now, AND she has a Jerboa scroll. I haven’t reread it but does it still exist?? Because that’s a Problem.

Animus Magic: So its permanently gone. How we feelin bout that? Like, it makes sense that Jerboa II would do something like that but part of me is a bit salty because I had ocs and adopts I was making that are set in the future and this just throws it all out the window. For the sake of my ocs, I will pretend there is some solution to this eventually. 

Humans+Sky: Ok so I didn’t think we were getting main plot humans this soon, but works with me. Honestly I was waiting for the moment Winter learned that scavengers were sentient. Bit worried about the implications of the epilogue, like.. Abyss??? Feeding a dragon to it? F e a r. Still waiting on that Sky and Peril reunion scene, but until then maybe I can finally write that fic I had about it. 

The Gifts: Ok so I originally thought the “a secret buried far below” was the Forbidden Vault dont @ me. I Love Opal and I want MORE DETAILS. Who was the Queen she served? How far before Diamond was she? Appearance? Come on Tui I thrive on details. Also I loved Snowfall with the tiara like Yasss Queen tear down that wall!!! Go Girl!! 

The sisters: I had no idea that Glacier had other children until this book and It honestly feels like the two were an aftersight. They probably were added later but you think Winter would have thought about them once right? Crystal was ok I guess. Mink is precious and also the ENCHANTED CROWN OH MY GOD. Fucking Diamond worst Mother-In-Law ever. I can’t wait to see the baby squad arc now that there’s five of them (Cliff, Auklet, Peacemaker, Bumblebee, Mink). Wish we knew who their father was, or if he’s still alive, but let’s be honest he’s probably dead and we all think Battlewinner did it. At least give us a name Tui please. 

There was gonna be another section on how I didn’t like Snowfall’s crush(?) on Sky but I realized Snowfall is 7?? I thought she was the same age as Winter (5). And Lynx is 6. Sky is 8 so I guess there isn’t a problem but I could have sworn Snowfall was 5. It would have made sense narratively, with not being ready for the throne. IDK I think I may be remembering things wrong.

Thoughts on Hasbro Universe after Revolution

Im big fan of G.I. Joe/Transformers. But when I heard that there are more than 2 franhises in one universe, it blew my mind. So I decided to check out them. One of them I heard when I was kid.

Revolution was big. For some it was epic, other think it was mess. I understand why ppl love and hate it. Personally I love it. There’s conflict and how heroes unite against evil. It was the beggining of massive universe. So, how it turned out?

To be fair.... not so good.

Its my own opinion. You can disagree with me. If you love aftermath of Revolution, thats fine. I just want to tell about the conclusion of Hasbro Comic Book Universe.

Optimus Prime.

I think the writer put a lot of his view on life: disappointment on every religion. I really didnt like how he made that Optimus Prime is always wrong. Even when he listens and he does what he was asked to do, ppl still angry at him. “You should listened to me!” and “You shouldn’t listen to me!”. I love that they put Joes, but here’s the big issue: OOC of Mainframe and Flint with his daughter look similar the same age.

Remember when Trasnformers had the mystery of their religion and mythology? Mix of Sci-Fi and Cosmic Fantasy. Yeah, forget about that. It was all Shockwave’s evil plan. Another big disappointment for me.

I like how they described the ghost of Bumblebee, but Shockwave being one of 13 Primes looks very... confusion to me. 

Lost Light

Lost Light deserves to be called a weak sequel. Remember when in MTMTE was magic mystery, adventure, gore and development of characters and relationships? Here I found nothing. New characters for me are not interesting. And yes about them being “trans”. Im not transphobic and sorry if my opion might hurt you or offend. I just dont see transgenders in Transformers.  I dont see transformers suffering of gender dysphoria. Hell, I doubt they suffer of homophobia, bc they are totally fine with mlm and wlw. If you dont know, hetero relationships are for the population of Earth. And Transformers managed told that they can love each other, but their love is not like Earth’s bc they dont have to have sex to create life. They have strong emotion connection to each other.

Speaking about love. I love Chromedome/Rewind love story bc it was developed. We saw the birth of connection, loss, pain, reunion, fear and happiness. Same with Cyclonus and Tailgate. To be fair I dont ship the last two as romantic couple, but as platonic couple. For me they dont have that emotional connection like Chrome/Rewind but they care each other. In Lost Light nothing. You just accept that a lot characters are couple to each other. Why and how? Just accept it. This is why I dont feel emotional connection to Lug and Anode. To be fair I thought they are friend and Lug looks a lot like a boy. If they’d develop her more better, I think I’d like her. The whole Lost Light is just comics of couples. I was thinking when they’re gonna do the Orgy like in Ancient Rome.

Also here’s another disappointment in religion. Everything was lie. As I told earlier - I didnt like it. I’d rather to rewatch TFP, Bayverse or G1. BC I felt emptiness. MTMTE is masterpiece.

G.I. Joe

Where do I begin? Was written by socialist who doesnt know anything about military, ruined Quick Kick who was nice and gentle, made Scarlett an idiot, turned charasmatic Shipwreck into fat vegan, new characters have no backstory or reasons why they joined to Joes. Also: huge hypocricy. Scarlett says that G.I. Joe is now international team, but they refuse to work with USA. I get it they tried to turn G.I. Joe into Overwatch, but OW was working with every country. Including USA, where they had one of their headquarters. American G.I. Joe was more progressive bc they were helping every country who had deal with Cobra or any threat. They even teamed up with Russian soldiers.

The huge disappointment was no explanation about Snake Eyes rebirth (and no love story of Snake/Scarlett) and Quick Kick being an ass. Just check G.I. Joe ARAH show. There Quick Kick was nice. I miss that one....

The only good stuff was about Rock n’ Roll nightmares and guilt for shooting Grand Slam, grumpy Grand Slam and Doc being half-alien. Thats alll.

Revolutionaries

It was a bit better bc its literally crossover with conflict and backstories. Here they at least tried to make story interesting. And brought a lot interesting references. Especially to 90s: KLAW, Slaugther and even to original Action Force.

M.A.S.K.: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand

At 1st they tried but then it all felt down. I wouldnt call it horrible. You can check out 1st issues. I can say that only villains were interesting. While main heroes...  here’s the problem.

Original Matt Trekker was an engineer, millionaire, helped ppl and white. Why the last important? BC in reboot he became boring black guy who seeks vengeance for his father death and the main bad guy is white man. Im not racist bc I like how it was done in Spawn, but it wasnt so obvious who is the bad guy who just wants to take over the world. I get it you hate Trump. He is a clown.

Also original Trekker raises his son alone. So he is widowed. It could play in reboot: lost all, but tries to keep his son safe. So much potential for drama of lonely father. But we got what we got. I just go to rewatch Spawn animated series.

If they wanted “diverse” why they didnt put more poc characters from MASK? You know there are actual canon black man and indian man? Even native american man?

ROM

It was boring. 1st issues were interesting and brutal bc of alien invansion. You wouldnt know who is the enemy and who is the friend. But drama...

Whole Rom’s drama was about losing his humanity. At 1st we see him as cold-hearted alien. Then they all forget about it. Original Rom from Marvel was losing his humanity until he met brave girl Brandy who made him to remember his loss of homeplanet and love of his life. He was afraid to be alone and to be complete machine. And yes, in reboot his old girlfriend is alive. But I felt nothing with this. I prefer to read original comics bc I felt sorry for Rom.

Micronauts: Wrath of Karza

It was boring. The only thing I can remember is Larissa being Baron Karza’s daughter. I dont compare reboot with original series bc I havent read yet. I liked the new one bc of Baron Karza and his wife (and their fetish).

First Strike

Hoo- boy. It was bad. Preety bad. Not bc villains tried to destroy Cybertron. Not bc TF thought its gonna be war of humans and TF. No, it all was good. The main villain is Joe Colton who wants to destroy Cybertron to save Earth. And that he was bad from the beginning. His motivation sounds like Miles Mayhem from M.A.S.K.. That shock effect of surprise villain doesnt work here. It looks like disrespect to Joe fans. They managed to ruin Scarlett’s character who was turned into G.I. Joe not bc she was the best. She was in Joes bc she didnt do 50 push-ups. If you dont know, G.I. Joe is elite guard where they take the best men and women bc they do a lot dangerous work. So the whole story arc is full disrespect to Joe fan. I dont know about you, but I was offended by that.

Was there smth good? Team up of villains and the easter egg of Visionaries.

Rom vs. Transformers: Shining Armor

I almost forget about the plot bc it was boring. Rom was rude like every commander (yeah, for someone “losing humanity”). New character was boring. So everythng was boring. Even Autobots didint save the situation.

Rom & the Micronauts

Well, they at least tried with characters development. I really liked how characters interact with each other. But the whole story was “meh”

Scarlett's Strike Force

It was very short and cancelled. BC that writer Sitterson wrote offensive tweet about Nine Eleven. I get it what he was trying to do: to make comics based on cartoon G.I. Joe. This is why Quick Kick and Spirit fight against Storm Shadow. Personally I thought it was racist bc “only asian fight agains asian”. And Storm Shadow has the worst redesign I’ve ever seen. Theres nothing to talk about the comics bc its unfinished and cancelled. So theres nothing.

Transformers vs. Visionaries

This comic had potential. But the ending ruined it. The story is about colonization to save living race. But it will kill another nation. Its interesting theme. And how they managed? Nothing. For some reason everyone in peace and safe. The ending is just weird. I think writer didint know how to end that conflict so she wrote “everyone safe and in peace. Colonization is bad”. Not the ending is the problem. Main characters: Leoric and Virulina redesigned very strong. Leoric looks like total different character (why not to create new character? He looks good). And Virulina looks like student from art-school, not the villain. The redesigned I like are Cryotek and Arzon. And the art was very good.

The last 2 ones I havent finished yet. I can tell this: TAAO isnt look so bad, but I’m ready for disapointing ending, like TF Unicron.

In conclusion:

I dont tell that it was done horrible. Its just explains why IDW decided to reboot TF and G.I. Joe. Low sales. BC I’ve noticed a lot easter eggs in those comics for future story plots. I think they’d made it good if IDW would give them chance.

If you love them, thats fine. I’ll enjoy my own version of Hasbro Universe.

I am complaining about mtmte megatron  

The biggest reason why the redemption of Megatron in IDW is so JARRING. so absolutely disrespectful and kind of hghfhhghghfhhgh in a bad way- is the fact that in order for a redemption to REALLY work. The character being redeemed is. WELL. 

REDEEMABLE. 

Which, throughout the history of IDW, Megatron has confirmed TO BE NOT. 

and I’m all for Megatron having humble and very positive beginnings but like. 

Genocide. Death of thousands, fucking people over, Like! HHHGH ITS NOT LOOKIN GOOD FOR HIM.

And really if you’re gonna have such a vile character go through redemption, there has to be work put into his actions instead of ‘I feel bad’ and creating a  apologetic shell of his previous self. This is like. Pink Diamond levels of awful...

“but apologizing is good!”

And MEGATRON WOULD NEVER. 

THATS LIKE. HIS THING. MEGATRON DOEST APOLOGIZE FOR HIS ATROCITIES BECAUSE HE BELIEVES HE HAS THE RIGHT TO DO THESE HORRIBLE THINGS BECAUSE THE WORLD AROUND HIM IS UNFORGIVING IN THE SAME WAY. (And the whole point of OP is to fight against that worldview) And yes apologizing is good but he always SAYS he’s sorry over and over. We don’t see any real development of HOW he’s sorry because really, he apologizes, then gets squared up in his ‘i’m mad’ making him go back on his bullshit.

Apologizing means you have to swallow your pride and dignity and acknowledge the fact that you have hurt and wronged someone, WHICH by the wAY. Megatron WOULD NEVER. THAT COULDVE BEEN A DEVELOPMENT ITSELF. Like could you imagine, issues of megatron holding back his anger and violence but still not apologizing, still having this sense of pride and ‘I will bend to NO ONE’ and not addressing that he’s hurt someone- only for an actual heartfelt apology later down the line because he’s IDK LEARNED THE EFFECTS OF HIS NON APOLOGETIC ACTIONS AND THE EFFECTS OF AN APOLOGY CAN HAVE ON RELATIONSHIPS AND SEES THE BENEFITS OF DOING SO. this would be LIKE THE Milestone of milestones for his character. but. no. 

Instead he apologizes at every wrong doing, like he backs out so much its like. its not. hiM. GUYS. ItS AN ISSUE. One of my favourite scenes is the classroom scene of mtmte 50. why its good imo, is like a) there are people actually working together to get down and discover things, b) Megatron is doing this for the sake of the crew, and c) The cannon scene, the big panel where you see megatron is ready to blast minimus into tiny pieces even with the lack of his fusion cannon. 

LIkE???? WHERE IS THE REST OF THAT??? WHERE WAS THAT BETWEEN DARK CYBERTRON AND THE PART WHERE HE SAYS HE’S GONNA BE A PACIFIST. Why cant you show him like about to punch someone out of habit but then put his fist back down because that shows more of how he WANTS to change rather than HIM JUST SAYING I’M SORRY AND HOW BAD HE FEELS AND THAT HE FEELS LIKE A MONSTER

AND THEN HE GETS JETTISONED OFF TO THE OTHER UNIVERSE BECAUSE FUCK YOU. Like the ‘Centuries of work’ is DONE ALL OFF SCREEN and we’re just supposed to ACCEPT THAT? 

The thing is Megatron is not a good character to be used as a redemption arc because he is not within the spectrum of redemption as he has done horrific and only self justifiable atrocities. And redemption is a spectrum, you can accept an apology for theft easier than for the slaughter of millions.

BUT iF YOURE GONNA DO IT. LIKE IF YOU’RE GONNA GO THROUGH WITH THIS PLAN. YOU PUT THE WORK IN IT. APOLOGY AND CHANGE OF BEHAVIOUR IS A STORY ITSELF. Put him with the crew LITERALLY when their saving that random organic planet, make him REALLY get nitty and gritty, DONT PUT HIM IN A POSITION OF POWER THE MOMENT HE STEPS ONTO THE SHIP. or at least make him authority of something smaller. 

One positive note I will give him is the necroworld thing, where he looks out to a sea of blue flowers, it really hones in on the ‘this is your fault and you need to do something about it.’ feeling that the rest of his arc lacks. 

Look I. As a fan, with the rose coloured fan lens that I have on. I love him, his design is great, he’s cute and bounces off characters in a way i enjoy but when i look at it from a writing perspective and take it into context that this is MEGATRON- WITH ALL OF THE THINGS HE’S DONE SO FAR. I completely agree that if they are going to go that fired tin in the show, now wasn't really the time. they haven't seen each other for months. and yeah Yang has forgiven Blake but they haven't exactly talked about it. theres a lot of damage that was caused by everything that happened at the end of season 3, and while they've grown a lot as people and learned through other people to understand the reasons for the others actions, they really need to have a proper talk before anything serious can happen with them. that being said, I really hope for a conversation with an instrumental version of BMBLB playing in the background within the first few episodes of season 6. please.

I am so tired of being told that I have to be The Good Gay™ and take all the homophobia and harassment and beatings and everything with a smile on my face in order to be respected. That I have to be grateful when someone laughs in my face because they noticed me!

Okay, let me break this down quick:

1. Yeah, you do have to fight for it. Respect is not entitled to you, it is something you earn. You earn people’s respect by doing the right thing, by being cool headed and logical in debates, by enduring. You can’t just have respect handed to you: That devalues the concept. Yeah it sucks but welcome to life.

2. What homophobia? What Harassment? What beatings? I’ve never seen that around here and if it is as common as you say it is, then surely you can prove it. How do I not know you are just crying wolf for attention or trying to make yourself look like a victim to do whatever you want or maybe you were being a dick about something that is only tangently related to your sexuality at best? Without context and proof, why should anyone listen to you?

And if it’s not happening directly to you: Then don’t talk abut it as though it is personally happening to you. Especially if it’s not happening in your country since who knows what the other country is like and the way you talk groups all of humanity together which we are NOT a hivemind.

You act like you are entitled to representation and such even as you attack and insult whereas if someone criticizes you, they are labeled with one of the most dangerous labels in our society. None of this is because you are LGBT: I would say this all to a straight person. What is going is that you are just not a good person and it becomes associated with your sexuality because you force the two together.

Its kind of hilarious because it all stems from the very same heteronormative bullshit of “normalcy” - unless you conform to the privileged heteronormative society and say “thank you, kind sirs” for every hit, the Straights™ will go out of their way to shame you and claim you are not normal or you are dangerous.

But if not for a homosexual couple, a controversy is created. If a straight person is stereotyped, it’s fine but you can’t be stereotyping gay people. This comes right down to phobia: homophobia has a lot of stigma behind it whole many people refuse to acknowledge heterophobia. Straight people are not the only privileged people on the planet.

And guess what? You, Invested, ARE dangerous. Not to straight people but to your own brethren. You keep talking this way, acting this way, speaking this way and thinking this way soon enough people will give up on trying for representation and equality because they will think the LGBT community is unpleasable and just not even bother anymore. And at time, real bigots will come in and take that one step further and start taking your rights away again. until the world you are talking about actually happens.  All because you keep asking to be treated specially and differently instead of equal.

The only thing that extremeists got in that time were fear and their cultural counterparts: When the Black Panthers went to far, the KKK rose up as a result. or Echoes of chaos if you ask me... how many of this are doomed songs? anyway lets go one by one.

When it Falls: BEST OPENING BY FAR SO FAR! First one melody was nice but lyrics too generic, second one was... actually pretty good and a foreshadow of shit to come. THIS ONE WAS THE BASICALLY SHIT HAS HITTED THE FAN AND YOU’RE NOT READY. And from chapter 7 forward... you knew we were doomed.

Im the One: WOOT CVFY SONG NUMBER 2 LETS G... wait... wut? THIS IS AN EMERALD/MERCURY SONG!?!?!?! I normally dont pay attention to lyrics while watching so this one took me for a loop... AND LOVE IT! Mercury and Emerald are villians i love to hate so this song works pretty well, specially the chorus.

It’s My Turn: NEED ADDITIONAL INFO *goes check* oh thank God... okay this song is apparently about Weiss and her strugle in the past. Now why did i need to check this? cause if you think for a sec this COULD have been missinterpreted as a Blake or Yang song. But the problem is that if that was true would be a pretty sad song considering how Blake ended and even worse a horrible song showing a side of Yang i didnt expect or want to see... and volume 4 is probably gonna be that already so can you not!

Not Fall in Love with you: WHY DO WE HAVE SHIPPING SONGS STILL!?!?!? Ok but really... the song is... meh? but while i dont have many feelings for the song... let it be a warning kids... i do like me this ship and since 2 ships of mine were sunk last volume LET ME ENJOY THIS OKAY!?!?!?!?! (IMPORTANT NOTE: this is no disrespect to Bumblebee since i love that ship too and that one is in a WAY bigger conflict after all that happened... but that’s for later)

Neon: Character songs are lovely, always nice and welcome... then again after this volume... WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SONG DOING HERE?????? Love the song, dont get me wrong but... i find it weird SPECIALLY since its for a... actually background info about Neon Katt might be needed here, help?

Mirror Mirror Part II: While It’s my turn is the bravado side of Weiss singing, this one is the more introspective part singing. Fearfull of what has happened or what has yet not happened... but still brave enough to move forward and try to avert her fears... she is gonna need this song on a loop soon.

Divide: or better suited “Salem’s Anthem of hate”... this song is great in all its evilness but i wont elaborate, this is gonna be part of Salem’s pat of the wrap up.

Cold: Last 2 volumes i always picked a song that thought too much about when its was a bit more generic... this is the one this volume... but probably for a lot of diferent reasons. Maybe Casey had a sad lost and put it in song form, maybe it is in fact about how Jaune feels about Pyrrha after all this ordeal, or how Pyrrha felt before entering the machine... or even be about Mr. Monty and... yeah... this song packs too many possible reasonings... dunno what to say beyond that this time.

Time to say Goodbye (Acoustic): Adding this one just cause DAMN did it fit the gloom of the end of the volume like a golve when i listened to it... DAAAAAAAMN

It's a wall of text and a (kinda) open letter

To preface and TL;DR. I made one tweet about how excited I was for what happened this episode and someone replied shooting me down for supporting Bumblebee saying that they just hugged it's not canon they didn't say I love you or kiss, when honestly I'm not a person that's for or against it I just kinda want the girls to be happy and it just seems like it'll be together. And that made me happy for them. Then I saw someone on tumblr being berated with people snapping at them for being sad for their different ship, while still being happy for Bumblebee shippers. So this is a post about...fandom. About how I think we should probably be considering being better to eachother if we aren't already.

Everything past here is it

Bumblebee being this close to all but outright "theyre in love love!" canon is great. It doesn't mean that people are allowed to hate other shippers now, or that the show is picking favorites in ships. These are fictional characters that have had certain stories written for them for a long time. If someone still wants to ship monochrome or ladybug or freezerburn they can! That's why the term canon exists to set apart the difference. It doesn't make it anymore of a reason to put down other shippers. Some people have lost general interest in the show for a long time and in honesty this fandom doesn't really help in this regard.

Bumblebee shippers that aren't sending death threats to writers or other people that ship something else, thanks for understanding and being a good person who is fine with whatever outcome could have come from this show.

People who think the writers gave in to fandom, please rethink the possibilities of this, we're at the point where the things Monty used to say were thought of a long time ago are finally coming to light. We got the Lost Fable which showed how the moon shattered, something that's been in the story since the trailers (back at the end 2012 and start of 2013- 5 to 6 years ago). We got more answers to Silver Eyes something that Ozpin mentioned in the first episode as a simple character trait. There are things that are probably so far down the line still we can't think of them. We don't know the answers to why things played out the way they did. If you want them maybe try watching some interviews on Rwby Rewind? Maybe wait to see if Kerry or Miles answer questions or write about what it was like to do this storyline. Just please don't jump to the conclusion that things happened because of fandom. Fandoms do fucking crazy shit, especially into the start, when maybe they don't need to and should just enjoy the show for what it's being in the moment.

If you think this is so wrong and Yang and Blake could never be together, they both like men only or something along those lines: No one has set such lines. Just because Blake stood by Adam or kissed Sun's cheek means she can't love Yang. There are bisexuals! And just because a lesbian dated guys previously doesn't mean she isn't any less of lesbian! She just realized she doesn't have that interest in men bc she dated them but is happier dating women! The same way gay guys can date a girl and realize that they just aren't into women!

If someone wants to drop the show, let them, if someone doesn't know if they want to leave the show behind, let them decide what they want to do, its their own life and they're intrests. If something isn't catering to them and they have other things and interests then maybe just let them live their life. Everyone has reasons for losing interest in something for different reasons, so don't jump at them with assumption that they're reason is bad. They can do what they want.

If you are dropping the show because you are homophobic, byeeeeeeee! I can't tell you any other way that this is the worst reason to drop a show and it's not even the shows fault or the fandoms, you're just not that great a person and I'm honestly surprised you've been in this fandom for so long as it is. Thank you for leaving and making or random just a bit of a better place for it. You can do what you want somewhere else.

Shippers, keep shipping respectfully, be the best you can be to your other shippers. Tell them how great that fanfic was or how pretty that fanart is, you don't need to say not your ship the creator does ship it so you dont need to oreo your compliments (sandwiching a thing you like, thing you dont like, thing you like, kinda comment). And hey maybe explore other ships! Not the illegal ones of course (age, incest, etc.) But maybe you never thought of Yang and Ren together or Blake and Velvet, and it sounds interesting! Be open and accept that just because someone else ships it doesn't mean they're trying to force it down you're throat. If someone is trying to come at you saying you're ship is trash and they're ship is the best, kindly tell them to fuck off and that you know they shouldn't be talking for a bunch of other people when there's like a billion other ships that are also perfect, including your own. This is sounding a little aggressive now but understand that I mean ships, just cuz you don't like them, don't mean anything because they're just a fun activity that people partake in creating content for. They deserve the respect that you would want from someone else.

Sorry for the wall of text everyone but if you read this, think I'm ridiculous for trying to be some "voice of reason" or someone who thinks this fandom is going to shit, wait. I'm plenty aware of what the fandom is like and what other people do to others. One of my favorite artists is getting anons and such about being a bad person because they are considering dropping the show. Its fine, they may be dropping it for their reasons and not for the reasons of someone else who is toxic, it's their own choice. You may say "well the show needs more support as it is now that all the homophobes are leaving" yeah it will and it's wrong you think that it won't get that. I have every faith that everthings gonna be okay, I mean I'm still here and I can't stand some of the things that have happened when it comes to real life people and this fandom, but this show is not the fandom. This show is what people see in it. This show is what people love about it. It's what people ship in it to their own satisfaction. It's what Monty, Kerry and Miles wrote TOGETHER. This show is everything that's happened in it and not what fandom hates or loves. It's just what it is.
