They weren’t quite sure what to expect at first after Tubbo’s revival. Fit wasn't surprised about the aggression. Not in the slightest. After his very first experience with the respawning mechanics he woke up quite angry as well. But after the anger came… exhaustion. 

Fit found him multiple times at spawn, at farms, dead asleep. He shook him awake every time. 

“You can't be here. Just dangerous for you to be sleeping everywhere.” 

Tubbo squinted at him, eyes half opened. “I'm tireddd,” he whined, slumping back over. 

Fit sighed, before wrapping his arms around the boy's body and lifting him up. Tubbo dropped his head against Fit's chest and relaxed into him. “Mmm,” he hummed. “This feels better than the floor.” 

“No shit,” Fit snorted. “Sleep okay?” Without another word, Tubbo's eyes slipped shut. Within a few minutes, even with the shuffling of Fit's movements, Tubbo was snoring softly. 

It became routine to see them together. Fit working away at whatever he had to do, while Tubbo lay slumped over on his shoulder sleeping peacefully. Pac loved it. He would smile so gently at the both of them while prattling on about ideas he had for the house. 

“Fitch, it's smart! We can build him a room with us, yeah? That would solve the problem of him just sleeping wherever he pleases. You can still carry him around but if you're ever tired then you can just sleep in the bed with him.” 

Fit paused. “That is pretty smart.” 

Pac grinned. “I know, I know.” He sprung up. “Let's build it now! A surprise for him when he wakes up.” 

They finished it long before he worked up. Man, could that dude sleep. 

When he finally awoke it was tight arms in a bed he didn't recognize. Blinking a few times he looked around the room. There above the bed was Pac, who smiled at him. “Hey sleepy head.” 

“Hey,” Tubbo said softly, voice hoarse. He shifted his head to look at who was holding him and wasn't surprised to see Fit, dead asleep. “Where am I?” 

“Our house,” Pac explained, sitting down on the bed next to him. “We build you a room that we can take you to when you're close to falling asleep places.” 

Tubbo blinked slowly at him as his exhaustion began to creep into his mind once again. “Okay,” he muttered before holding out his arms. “C'mere. Cold.” 

Pac laughed before obliging and curling up next to him, letting Tubbo wrap around him like a monkey. Pac fell asleep soon after joining Fit in slumber while Tubbo just relaxed in between them. For once he felt safe and warm. Warm in a way that transcended the cloudy warmth of dreams. He didn't sleep but by the time they did he felt truly rested for the first time since his revival.

awh no its not heavy to me dw <3 its something i struggle with , even tho its gotten a lil better w/ age i still live a pretty hermetic life cus im hurt from stuff in the past. when i was younger i also felt like i didnt know how to act in social situations n got bullied all thru school for my demeanor so. that lead me to bcome even more lost trying to emulate ppl i thought were doing it right. took MANY years (like until age 25) just to unravel all the masks n learn how to stop interacting with everyone from a place of fear& paranoia. altho i still experience social anxiety id say i care much less about ppls impression of me. as long as they think im a kind person ofc! but overall ive finally accepted that no one will ever know the real me i know in my mind. that wld b physically impossible,! just as i can never truly know anyone else's mind either. all u can do is try to find people who Want to see you as the best version of yourself. sadly much more common to encounter people who willfully misunderstand you so they can maintain their worldview & fit u into certain boxes that relate u to their past experiences. be patient with those people, n just know that their version of u is out of ur control. when at long last u find the special ones who uplift & believe in u, its like, Wow the way you see me may not be my complete self, yet it adds new dimension to my being in a way that makes me love myself more. secure love.. but u may never find those special ppl if ur too scared of being perceived to try knowing anyone.!! so u just gotta keep tryin til something clicks. if ur kind to everyone n try to view them in a forgiving light, ppl tend to return that energy back to u even if they think ur kinda strange lol. dont giving up anon <3 just because its hard now doesnt mean it'll alwasy b this way.

i think the pain you feel when getting a tattoo really depends ( 1 ) on your pain tolerance and ( 2 ) where you’re getting it. the tattoos i’ve gotten didn’t really hurt at all. just kinda felt like repetitive lil cat scratches until i got used to the sensation.

but with that being said i got them in low pain areas and personally have a higher pain tolerance. i did have a friend who got the area under their tits tattooed and they said it hurt so bad they had to tap out of the session early. so TL:DR if you’re worried about the pain, just start off with a smaller tattoo on a less sensitive area !

ngl getting your nipples pierced will probably hurt more, so just get that done first so the tattoo seems like nothing !!

The cool evening was aging into an even colder night, contrasting with the way the steamy wisps of smoke drew themselves out in emanation from the cup of hot herbal tea set on the table before him. Ever since you were introduced into his life, he liked sitting in the dining room, but that was only because he was accompanied by you— your presence was always a blessing, and the absence of it was now a curse.

Well, temporary curse actually. He raised his gaze to the clock pinned on the wall ahead of him, eyes assuming a sparkle of what he recently found out to be anticipation— you should be walking through the door to greet him any minute now.

The weather outside was decent, diametrically contrasting the weather from just a few days ago. Typically, Akutagawa disliked reminiscence— it was just a gateway to hell; it just reminded him that not every moment he'd long to cling onto for the rest of his life could stay in his possession forever, even though moments as such were rare for a boy like him.

But since that day, he figured that if he had a good memory to recall, there'd be more where that came from. There had to be, right? It wasn't sheer hopefulness— he knew better than to depend on such a flimsy concept. However, staying connected to a source of hope seemed to be a little more promising than hoping on something his eyes couldn't quite visualise even with the sharpest of imaginations, something his fingertips couldn't quite grasp onto since blind optimism didn't really offer anything tactile.

He couldn't dismiss the satisfaction his torpefied soul reaped from your company any longer, especially ever since you had started making him feel things he never knew he was capable of feeling. Whether it was your presence which gave him a type of solace that got him through sleepless nights, or the beamy smile you flashed at him whenever you caught him staring at you absentmindedly, Akutagawa knew this was right where he wanted to be.

It took him one specific stranger he had bumped into at the local coffeeshop to realise that the part of him he kept most concealed was the part of him still alive.

So there he was, seated alone with his thoughts, finally allowing himself to reacquaint his mind with thoughts of the past— specifically, a few months ago. Thinking about that specific night constituted to the unfurling of colourful memories like paint-filled dynamite on the canvass of his mind. Nothing really magical per se— just... very, very unorthodox for someone who didn't know the difference between approval that was garnered from blood, sweat, and tears, and kindness that was entitled to every human being.

It was raining fiercely. Thunderous clouds exchanged streaks of light with each other to exhibit an overawing view altogether. His gaze was fixed on the angry sky, but his ears took in every word tumbling out of your lips like a golden waterfall.

That's how he interpreted it at least, and it was pretty uncharacteristic of the boy who expertly picked out at anyone's flaw to dampen their value to him. It was sort of a preparatory measure, so that he wouldn't be totally miffed when their flaws suddenly emerged in their raw, ugly forms only to disappoint him.

Not that he let a lot of people stick around long enough to show their true colours though. Even so, as much as he'd hate to admit it, you were an exception.

You sat next to him, wingback chairs providing very little alleviation to your stiffened muscles after a long day. As much as he appreciated the periods of quietude you shared, he liked listening to you. It wasn't one-sided either.

If you spoke about things he had an opinion about, he wouldn't hesitate to cut you off just to insert his views. You never got annoyed when he disagreed with you or started rambling to the brink of losing his point. You were more grateful for the fact that he was actually speaking to you, because for a reclusive person, he sure had a lot more to his personality that anyone would imagine.

"That's really not how it works," he proclaimed with confidence.

"Oh, so you're not supposed to be okay if someone cuts in line to get a cup of coffee? What am I supposed to do? Put up a fight?"

"Sure."

"Akutagawa!"

"You were there first."

"Okay, but what if they were in a hurry?" you asked, sipping on the glass of bourbon in your hands. You couldn't help but smile at how headstrong he was about such a simple thing.

"It's not your problem if they're irresponsibly tardy."

"Yeah, but a kind act goes a long way," you sneered.

He scoffed.

"You're just giving them an excuse to continue being the scatterbrained scum that they are," he reasoned, harsh words said in such a calm tone.

"Scatterbrained scum, huh?" you glanced at his direction, shaking your head with an amused grin on your face. "That's a... strong term."

"Am I wrong?" he asked, meeting your gaze with a shrewd expression, as if he had already won the 'debate.'

You laughed. He frowned.

"What's so funny?" he asked.

"Nothing," you grinned sweetly. "I was in the middle of telling you about this crazy thing that happened this morning but you seemed more concerned with the 'scatterbrained scum' that came in my way."

"Well, someone had to point it out."

You shut your eyes and pinched the bridge of your nose, soft chortles escaping your lips with ease. His lips quirked into what would easily qualify as a smile— that is, if he tried hard enough.

"Nice sense of humour you've got there," you commented (sarcastically), eyes meeting his, which were already hung up on the features of your face— accentuated in divinity he hoped his presence would never ever demoralise. God, what made you so different? What made you so special? What did you have that he didn't?

"I wasn't joking," he replied flatly. You shook your head, rolling your eyes in dismissal.

"Alright, tough guy, let's switch topics before you plot a murder," you murmured with blithe. "I've got an interesting question for you actually."

"Go on." He wished he were better at reading signs, because he didn't know whether to expect the worst or the best out of your mouth.

"What are the likes of a person like me ending up next to a person like you?"

Hm. Unimaginable. He didn't know how he had gotten so lucky.

"I don't know," he shrugged. "Unlikely, I suppose. Why do you ask?"

You took a while to respond, tapping the tip of your index finger on the corner of the armrest. "Unlikely how?"

He shrugged, eyes shying away from your piercing gaze. "I'm probably the type of person people tell you to stay away from."

You giggled lightly, earning a careful glance from him. "I wouldn't even if they told me to."

His expression lit up. Odd to think that that was the kindest statement his marred ears had ever heard.

"What? Why do you look so surprised?" you prompted, placing your glass on the coffee table next to you so you could face him, arms crossed, resting themselves on the armrest separating the two of you.

"Never heard something like that before," he muttered under his breath, eyes fixated on the way his fingers were picking at each other mindlessly. Your hand travelled to touch his cheek, reluctantly, because you didn't want to scare him. It was kind of like when you lured that wounded kitten into your grasp to treat the wound on its tiny leg and feed it bits of your food— slowly, carefully, all to win its trust so that it could be taken care of.

His face retreated from your touch by half a centimetre, but every bone in his body told him to hold still.

"Do you trust me?" You could feel your guts twist in dread as you waited for an answer you weren't sure if you were ready to hear or not. This wasn't planned— getting so close to the unsmiling guy you almost spilled coffee on a few weeks ago. None of it was. None of it was meant to be planned anyway, because if it were, you wouldn't be next to him right now. Initiating all this was just a leap of faith every strand of logic integrated in your mind was protesting against. So many things could go wrong if you left your heart in the hands of the boy who didn't know what else to do with his own.

Guess you'd never know until you actually did something about these feelings— the blossoming wildflowers crawling their way around your heart like parasitic weeds.

His eyes met yours in a type of finality you were starstruck by, as if all his ambition had finally come into full view. "I trust you."

Inching in closer, you could feel his breath hitch upon feeling the tip of your nose brush against his. Before doing anything rash, an exasperated breath of amusement departed your lips as you tipped your forehead forward to rest on his.

"Doesn't really seem like you do," you smiled, pulling away slightly to softly nudge his chin upward, just so he could keep his eyes— the honest, vulnerable ones— in your sight. He could trust you. He really wanted to. But part of him didn't want to believe you; part of him knew that something would go wrong, that something would drive you away, that something would eventually betray the amount of promise you had gracing your tone.

Still, the other part of him, the part of him persuading his lips to meet yours this very instant, knew that there was a slim chance of maybe: maybe you wouldn't leave him, maybe you'd stick around despite his past, his mistakes, and his shortcomings.

He was willing, but honestly, were you?

"Ryuu?" you whispered inquisitively. "Do you trust me?"

The question was starting to get annoyingly repetitive— of course he did. What was stopping him? What kept him from taking the path he never knew was even traversable for a hardened mafioso like him? This was a mistake. How could someone like him even dare to stand next to the likes of you?

"I do," he nodded, a sheet of thoughtfulness glazing over his dark eyes. "But I wished we weren't so different."

"Different?"

"I'm not someone you deserve."

You tilted your head.

"How do you know what I deserve?" you asked timidly, not really expecting a clear-cut answer.

Having expected a different response altogether, his eyes widened slightly.

"The blood under our skins— it's the same colour, correct?"

He nodded.

"You and I— we're both human beings, nothing more, nothing less, yes?"

He nodded, rather cluelessly actually, even though he knew exactly where you were going with this; he knew why you were throwing figures of rhetoric right at his face during such a dire moment. He was iron-willed, but by now, he understood that you were, too.

He gulped down an argument of resistance. No— he wasn't going to skip this chance. Just once, just this one time, he wasn't going to deprive himself of something he inherently wanted.

Your thumb traced soft circles on the side of his neck; your eyes fluttered shut as you felt his lips barely touch yours. To pull back or to keep going; this wasn't supposed to be this confusing. Is this what you wanted? Is this what he wanted? God, if there was a switch to turn off all the perturbing thoughts streaming through your heads like relentless swarms of dust moths, the two of you would flick it down simultaneously.

Candy-flavoured electricity crackled at the feel of his quiet breath tickling your nose. Your half-lidded eyes sparkled; his heart skipped a beat, maybe two. That was enough to incite the pressing of your lips against his with delicate will and want, your fingers wrapping themselves around the back of his neck with gentle desperation and zest.

There wasn't anything left to be afraid of, so he leaned in to kiss you back, cold hands placing themselves upon both your cheeks in a featherlike manner, as if he were scared of hurting you. His heartbeats were louder than the dubious whispers of his common sense. He couldn't really think straight, and part of him didn't really want to either.

Lightning flashed throughout the room, framing this very moment, packing it into a sacred box the two of you ultimately tied in between your hearts.

And as months withered away, Akutagawa always thought about the divergent ways his life would've continued from that day if he hadn't kissed you back. Out of all possibilities, that kiss was one in a million. And out of all the people you picked to give that kiss to, you picked him.

He still couldn't figure out how he had gotten so lucky. He wondered if he ever would.

You were excited, but anxious. you have never been on a date before, let alone the one and only bakugou katsuki, so ya. you were nervous asf

On the ride, the radio played loudly while you rolled the window down and caught the warm breeze in your face, you were just wildin out in the car, making katsuki laugh in hopes of relieving some stress

when you arrive, it was a different story. there were so many people and the water was dark, and this is gonna be his first time seeing *this much of your body. Your nerves were not helping

“Yo, Y/n, you nervous or somethin’?” Calls Sero, averting your attention from the packed beach

“Uh, no, not at all,” you smile walking over to the trunk of the car, picking up towels

kirishima and mina walk together to find a spot, denki and sero leave you and katsuki alone and immediately start throwing the frisbee around

‘god this was so awkward’ you thought, although it really wasnt, it was just in your head

“Here, give those to me,” katsuki whispers as he takes the towels from your grasp, taking notice of the way you rub your fingers together, the way you keep looking at the ground

He can tell that youre unsure, but he knows that you wont be like this for long- i mean- its bakugou, right?

once yall get to your spot, kirishima and mina catch up to you guys, talking about whats more manly yall cant convince me they dont do this- im convinced mina teaches him how to drink his respect women juice although we know he drinks plenty

You dont even have time to realize katsukis arms around your things, picking you up and throwing you on his shoulders

You play smack his back, laughing and yelping at the same time while he runs towards the water

“kastUKI WHAT ARE YOU DOING??” all he can respond with is his laughter before he sets you down gently in the water

“What, you thought I was gonna throw you or somethin’?” he smirks

“Uh, YEAH? I DID! You scared the crap outta me, babe,” you laugh off, the water suddenly feeling a lot better than you thought it would

He’s still laughing, almost gripping his stomach while kirishima and mina join sero and denki with the frisbee

Your hands are placed on his chest, and his have dropped down your forearms, holding you in place while you laugh into him

“There’s popcorn in my hair now,”

“Oh,” he takes a gentle hand and takes the popcorn out of your hair, tossing it to the side

You just laugh it off, taking notice of the fact that the movie has already started

bisexual, she/they enby. just turned 20 at debut, is about 21 going on 22 at this point in the manga.

vintage's older half sister by about a year. she got into turf first, which got him into it when he was old enough to play

on good terms with her biological father, who she goes to see sometimes (and did so as she was growing up). she sometimes feels a little disconnected from the rest of her family (mother/stepfather/vintage) because of it, but it's not a big deal

knows vintage better than he knows her (because she's MUCH quieter than him)

a lil on the chubby side, but only a little bit. like vin, she's particularly pale

her eyes are naturally light blue, she wears red contacts to match vin and the team's aesthetic. because of how my other hcs go, her natural ink colour is also light blue (unlike vin's, which is red)

his eye colour, and by extension, his natural ink colour, is a honey gold colour, complete with a natural glittery shine. he got picked on a little because of it at school, and the insecurity has kinda stuck with him. that being said, the shininess also means his eyes often catch light and kinda reflect it back towards him and block his vision with little specs of white, hence the sunglasses

skull really likes his eyes though, thinks they're pretty. avi has a soft spot for skull's goofy smile (which HE'S self conscious about)

idk how to quite describe his skin tone, lighter than rider/npacer but not by a lot, kinda mid tone. skinny, but generally a little toned (more evenly than skull is because someone is a nightmare and lives off sweets). he's also just, kinda good looking, like, objectively. has a nice face EHDKDNDK

aight my lads here we go, there’s going to be a few unpublished wips and other piece of dubious writing in here bc i doubt i have 20 stories but anyway, here we go (this is very long! press j to skip or just get that dash scrollin bc this might take a while :// ) in very rough chronological order going backwards, starting with the published work:

1. so i ran to the river (tma grifters au, unpublished yet but will be soon!): The sunlight feels different on a face fresh out of prison, and it feels even better to Jonathan Sims now that he’s truly home.

2. crowned by an overture bold and beyond (tma pretentious college au, based loosely on the secret history):  It was a cool, rainy day in late March when I first approached the Magnus Institute--one of those days that served as a reminder that the London spring, that fragile creature, was still all too vulnerable to the occasional strike from the claws of winter.

3. we should ride this wave to shore (tma chatfic where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts): Friday, 3:14 P.M. “archives research & statement envestigation” Timothy Stoker renamed the group “drinks drinks drinks” Timothy Stoker changed Sasha James’s nickname to saucy sash Timothy Stoker changed Martin Blackwood’s nickname to martini kart Timothy Stoker changed his nickname to stonked stonked: so how bout it lads saucy sash: oh god.

4. i am the maker of rules (dealing with fools) (tma chatfic, an elias-and-peter-focused accompaniment to wsrtwts): Monday, 7:39 P.M. Elias Bouchard to Peter Lukas Elias Bouchard: Peter, I need to talk to you. Elias Bouchard: I’ve had the most infuriating day at work.

5. An Optimistic Tragedy (good omens orchestra au that i swear to god i’ll finish one day): Three years ago Eve shifted in her chair, her mind clearly on things other than Milhaud and the music in front of her.

6. The Spaces Between the Stars (the Beast of a dw fic that i can’t even begin to describe; a mate and i have been working on this since 2015 and it’s a sprawling mass of writing that encompasses Many google docs--what’s on ao3 atm is a very small percentage of it,,,,): The Doctor clutched the TARDIS railing as if somehow, it could take the pain away.

7. Carol of the Bells (a chrismas chatfic companion to aot! i’ve always been a sucker for a chatfic but oof looking back on this one my formatting style sure has changed): [Friday December 13, 1:31am] Anthony Crowley to Angelface: u up? ;)

8. An Exploration into The Nature of Human Beings, sub. Homo Sapiens: A Research Paper by Milton Jones (british comedy rpf. this is my oldest piece on ao3 and it shows, but there’s a special place in my heart for this dorky lil fic about an alien researcher making a place for himself in british comedy. fun fact! i actually added the final three sentences to this a couple of days ago, and will post it when i do my next fic update): <<I knew you’d be down here, as per usual. Do you never stop working?>>

and now for the stuff that i like but hasn’t yet/will never/one day, if i get my act together, might be posted to ao3... please ask me about these bc i love them, even though i’ll probably never post them :)

9. untitled mitchell spy comedy (a show that @monimolimnion​ and i want to pitch to the bbc in which david mitchell and victoria coren mitchell are married spies who work for MI5 and MI6 respectively, and most of britcom pops up in one place or another. it’s nothing more than a Lot of planning and a few snippets, but i love returning to this doc): [David is sitting at his desk, shaking his head at an open file.] David: They’re taking the piss. That’s what they’re doing, they’re taking the piss.

10. In the Demonic Style (a good omens au of @teashoesandhair’s glorious smooching contest piece, which is the first piece of fiction writing in the reblog chain. i’ve promised a chapter 2 to this, which i’m halfway through, and feel incredibly guilty for not finishing. still, my quarter-year’s resolution is to finish something old whenever i post something new, so maybe it’ll get done soon!): “It’s the end of the world” was not a good statement with which to start one’s morning in any circumstances, but the angel Bryndael was in the middle of cataloguing his newest shipment of tea samples when said statement reached his ears, and he didn’t much appreciate being disturbed.

11. magpie (good omens canon-mostly-compliant fic based around the song magpie by the unthanks/the magpie folk song/nursery rhyme): Wednesday (approximately 11 years before the end of the world) From a bird’s-eye view, St James’s Park was beautiful at this time of year.

12. untitled ficlet for tales of dwrwedd (a present for my writing buddy! the link is to her fic, i just wrote a bit of her two witcherverse ocs being soft as hell): The two women seated by the hearth didn't look old, either of them. But there was something about the pair--in their movements, or their mannerisms--that suggested an age far beyond what their unlined faces would suggest.

13: Tempo d’Attacco (an original bit of Light Crime a la midsomer murders, set in a university music department that is naturally a thinly-veiled copy of my own, hence why it will never ever be posted anywhere. i wrote this for my supervisor at the end of honours (her character is the sleuth) :P ) Dr Marisa Tan didn’t exactly start her morning well, on the day that everything seemed to upend itself.

patterns...... i’m not seeing that many, tbh? idk if i could call this in media res, but there’s certainly a good bit of plot starting without heaps of setup. 

my favourite? hmmmmmm i’d say my favourites would be crowned by an overture bold and beyond, and in the demonic style. i gotta say, going back to revisit a lot of my older writing has been nice! time and distance have been v kind :)
