see like the thing with 'carewhumpers' as a concept to me is it just like... i know this is prrrrobably not really how it's meant but something skeeves me out about the idea that kindness or caretaking mixed in with hurting someone can somehow meaningfully complicate or dilute the harm done to the point of making that character no longer a 'whumper' whereas someone doing the same 'bad' things but not ever being gentle or caring for them would just be a straight-out whumper. when like... that's how 90% of irl abuse dynamics work? so i just... don't really get the point, i guess. like to me it implies something about the 'care' provided somehow mitigating or combating the harm done that. i just do not personally appreciate or enjoy.

Marigami(Marinette x Kagami) is really fun since Kagami just saw the love triangle Marinette was in between Adrien and Luca and said "Fuck that noise! I'm stealing both your girl!" and ice skated away with Marinette in her arms.

Also, the fact Marinette, the idiot ball of sunshine who shows affection by making hats and sweets, would 100% be considered Kagami's rebellious relationship against her mother.

Going a LITTLE insane about Arafellin hair bells right now, because outside of a Southlander context in combat, they’re Borderlanders, they fight the Dark One, the bells are SUPPOSED to make a sound while they’re fighting, and would effectively scare off the ravens and rats that act as the Dark One’s eyes and his spies. Wearing something in combat, against the Shadow and otherwise, that would ‘scare off the eyes of the Lord of the Grave’ when they bring death to another, acting like a protective “ward” in a sense in battle. Is any of this explicitly said in the books? Not really, but it’s my interpretation.

#I love their jingles I love their twin braids I love their honor #I wish we got interaction between them and the aiel tbh #seeing their two honor systems interact would have been interesting #and they are complete opposites when it comes to what twin braids mean #for the aiel it’s a sign of girlhood that is left behind when a girl becomes an adult #and is woven with brightly colored ribbons that make her easy to spot and signals she’s a non-combatant #And for the arafellin it’s a sign of manhood #and is woven with merrily jingling bells easy to hear because it DOES NOT MATTER even if you do sense them about to end you #And I just think that dynamic between the two created cultures would have been sick #arafel #arafel wot #borderlands #borderlands wot #wheel of time #the wheel of time #wot #wot books #aiel #(just mentioned in the tags)

(Since each is a counter to a hero; Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. What if Danny’s the counter to another hero? Or even the counter to the entire Justice League Dark. I think it’d be pretty funny if he’s the counter to Flash or something)

And now he’s gotta mentor a bunch of villains-in-training who literally busted out of test tubes and have no memories from before… and god hes just adopting kids isn’t he?
