I just finished my reread of JLA: Tower of Babel and frankly, I'm surprised by the lack of Superbat fics about this plotline. I mean, it's the perfect setting for all the Superbat angst you could dream of.

How everyone keeps pointing out that Supes is the one closest to Batman, Clark emphatically referring to what happened as "your betrayal", how Bruce's files are cold and professional about everyone EXCEPT Clark (his fear of seeing him in pain), his guilt, how everyone else is loud and angry but Clark is silent and hurt, the fact Clark gave him the kryptonite in the first place. Clark having the final say and voting Bruce out of the League. Bruce KNOWING that he would do that and leaving because he didn't want to hear it.

The confrontation on Divided We Fall with all the accusations and the obvious hurt on both sides... then the agreement to reveal their identities together.

Tell me this wouldn't be an excellent break up/getting back together fic? The hurt/comfort of all times. If someone doesn't write this soon, I might have to.

I haven't seen anyone talking about this so this is my time to shine and finally find a use for my autism. Molly is a (very old) slang word for homosexual. It's from the same origins of "Mary-Ann", sort of (Moll was a pet form of Mary).

When Edwin says "perhaps we should follow up with this Molly character." He literally just means a homosexual person, that's what he thinks he is saying.

Yeah there is no point just enjoy this information.

Hello everyone, I really don't like asking for it, but it's undeniable that me and my housemates could use some help. We live in a very conservative area, and all of us are visibly queer. i feel like something aphblr doesnt often address about mcd is that. aaron genuinely was the best for aphmau 😭 im so sorry but just going off of canon interactions in mcd, they were the only relationship of the main three where it was completely and naturally mutual without any pushiness or persuasion or possessiveness or immaturity on the guys part. i know plenty of you have your opinions on aarmau and the way it was executed and the way laurance and garroths characters were treated as a result and i agree with some of those points but i think we need to recognize. if ur gonna go off of canon. aaron and aphmau were the healthiest option and really the only way it couldve gone.
