(note: this is not to excuse armand, because this still involves him doing horrifying things. this is to try to understand the trial because it bothers me to no end. although i mention the books twice in regard to nicki, it's just to back up a couple claims; this interpretation is based on what we've seen in the show)

honestly the thing about the trail is that it breaks one of the fucking laws. the plays are at least set up as fiction, which is why the plays are fine but (in the books) nicki gets punished for being Loud about vampires being real. the trial has mortals presented with the true nature of vampires, then voting on what happens to those vampires, then... presumably not being killed, I feel like we would've seen that. (we didn't right? i don't have access to rewatch right now and i'm suddenly questioning myself. anyway, presumably, armand broke this law with nicki when he kidnapped him and let him live, but in the show, nicki was spending time with lestat as a vampire already. and no knowing if armand would've killed nicki if lestat didn't turn him.)

it does seem like santiago must've been in charge of the presentation of the trial, because armand has no need to do any of this (he could have simply killed them without the need for lestat's testimony or the vote of the mortals). santiago is the one with a grudge about the laws because his maker was punished due to them. it must be that armand was losing control of the coven and to some extent to allow this to happen. and if santiago and the coven were the ones who wanted the trail, they are breaking the laws, which then justifies louis killing all of them (with armand's apparent blessing).

i don't think this was a plan on armand's part, exactly. there's no way he could know exactly how everything would play out, so he was adjusting as he went. but i do kind of feel that he became somewhat passive about santiago's plans, because he could see that they no longer felt truly beholden to the laws. and that many lawless vampires running around paris? a nightmare to armand. just louis around, not caring about the laws? armand can manage him, giving armand an excuse to manipulate louis as he sees necessary "for louis' protection."

note: yes, armand is still acting as director and manipulating the presentation of the trial in that way, but his direction in this case still seems a bit passive to me although with some very apparent anger toward lestat. i also believe that he acted as servant after the trial, reflected by his act as rashid--it puts him in a position to serve louis, this time to the end of getting his revenge.

General PSA to not fucking evlove your pokemon or battle them to the point of evolving if you are not going to be able to take care of it's evolution. Full stop.

I see so many people just- evolving their growlithes with no idea how to take care for an arcanine. Having a bigger pokemon doesn't always suit people and if you do not do the research on its care then you are harming the pokemon and yourself.

Grebubble, the Foamy Fakemon, Fairy/Dark. Grebubble are calm, somewhat mysterious Fakemon, with a nocturnal life. Able to cleanse near any substance with their foam, Grebubble are favored by environmentalists. Some claim the bubbles by themselves taste delicious, but those people are insane.

my crazy-ass king oh-ger theory is that the show is set in the future of our present earth where they were a civilization with AI advancement and some guy really liked bugs so they made bug robots that was later turned in to military weapons cause of humans conflict and stuff, when civilization collapse the bug robots survived, later they were new humans [and newer evloved species like Bugnaroks] saw the bug robots and thought they were gods, that explains why the Shu-gods were able to combine in to a giant robot, some are used as transportation like in Ran's country and why some shu gods don't like each other

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Show Notes.

As a rottmnt superfan, I think it's very shameful I have not actually watched the full series. I have been trying to get myself to watch all of it for literal months, and I will finally start now.

To keep my motivation to actually watch my favorite show (wow) I will be writing down little things I like/notice/one sentence summary of each episode.

Plus I want to do the AU with the events of the show but a "little to the left" including the missing sisters, Mikey getting his deleted episodes back, ideas that couldn't be used because the show was cancelled, fandom ideas, etc. etc.

AND this is also doubling as info from each episode, so that way I don't forget anything important.

(Like I forgot Heuso existed. Who does that?)

A story about some non-humans with no human contact and is as far from reality as possible.

A story told in captions and multimedia that is meant to be my comfort story. It's about a unreliable narrator that is so in faer head that the actual plot happens in the background. Literal civilizations are dying and faer guardian may be destined to kill faer, but Anuli has something more to think about. Fae can't stay happy or go for too long without making a mistake that ends up hurting everyone else, so fae uses faer hyper fixation to fix faer overthinking and general incompetence. After all, if Anuli isn't the antagonist anymore, fae will get a happy ending, right? That's the hope anyways, that one day fae will be someone that will put the other's care to good use instead of wasting it.
