Hi, Could you maybe explain what the difference between „tener que“ and „hay que“ is? can they be used interchangeably or are they for specific things?

They kind of mean the same thing, but hay que feels impersonal

tener que + hacer algo is "have to (do something)" and it's usually conjugated for people, like tienes que hacer, tengo que hacer, tenemos que hacer...

With hay que it's only ever hay que

Most people translate hay que as "you have to", but it's more specifically "one must" - it reads as something that should be done or should not be done, not anyone's specific obligations if that makes sense

As an example - hay que tener en cuenta is translated as "keep in mind"

It's more literally "one should keep in mind" [lit. "one must keep in account/memory"]

But because it's impersonal it comes out as "be aware", "keep in mind", or "don't forget" - while tienes que tener en cuenta is more specifically "you have to keep in mind" as in YOU must do this

It's been a while since I did digital drawing, but luckily I'm still doing it well! When I was making this drawing of Rafaela I was thinking about how it would look inside the school where she and the AlbaTrio study, and with that I also started to develop some aspects of World Building. This time it's time to see the kind of spells that people learn at school!

COMMON TREE SPELLS

Although in Danny's World there is no combat system that includes spells, there are some skills that all magicians usually have that are considered "spells" that everyone can use. For example:

FLOAT

More than floating, Magicians have the ability to reduce the speed of their descents to almost zero, giving the illusion of floating. Although there are cases in which they can really remain suspended in the air with enough practice.

“GLAMOUR”

The oldest ability of Wizards/Mages, Glamour allows them to hide magic or slightly alter it to fit in non-magical environments. It can be used on both people and inanimate objects. Its main purpose is to change the appearance of something (in the case of a person, it is mostly used on clothing).

SURPRISE

A spell used when fleeing or causing distractions, it creates a large pile of colored smoke (or black, depending on the situation) in which the Wizard/Mages “disappears”.

SUMMONS OF OBJECTS

Wizards/Mages can do certain spells that bind certain objects to them, which give rise to summoning spells, which allow objects to be brought from great distances to where the wizard/mages is.

BONDING

HECHIZOS DEL TRONCO COMUN

Si bien en El Mundo de Danny no hay un sistema de pelea que incluya hechizos, si hay algunas habilidades en conjunto que suelen tener todos los magos que se consideran “hechizos” que todos pueden usar. Como, por ejemplo:

FLOTE

Mas que flotar, las Magas/Magos tienen la habilidad de reducir la velocidad de sus descensos hasta casi cero, dando la ilusión de flotar. Aunque hay casos en los que realmente pueden quedar suspendidos en el aire con la suficiente práctica.

“GLAMOUR”

La habilidad más antigua de los Magos/Magas, el Glamour les permite ocultar la magia o alterarla ligeramente para encajar en ambientes no mágicos. Se puede usar tanto en personas como en objetos inanimados. Su mayor objetivo es cambiar la apariencia de algo (en caso de una persona, se usa más que nada en la ropa).

SORPRESA

The Amphoriskos in Pompeian blue glass is a very rare example of ancient cameo glass. It is a type of luxurious vase inspired by the intricate Hellenistic relief-cut gems that were extremely popular during the Augustan and Julio-Claudian periods, from 27 BC to 68 AD. Based on extensive research by David Whitehouse of the Corning Museum of Glass, only 15 vases and about 200 fragments of cameo glass remain in museums and private collections today. Roman cameo objects usually had two or more layers of different colours; the top layer is partially cut away to create a bas-relief decoration on a background of contrasting colour. Most Roman examples are made with two layers, usually white on blue. However, there are fragments of vases with more than two layers and sometimes up to five, testifying to the very high technical development in the glass art of the time.

Cuando un personaje masculino me gusta, quiero explotarlo hasta la ultima gota en fanfics angustiosos, pero cuando un personaje femenino me gusta es más en el echo de “Yo quiero ser como ella”, me parecen personajes que a pesar de tener sus defectos quiero seguir su ejemplo y ser igual de fuerte y segura que ellas, pero no me intereso tanto como para escribir de ella u obsesionarme.

Esto fue hasta que Azazel la termino descubriendo en una feria y se volvió su pupila estrella.

Since Aurora is more of a supporting/secondary character, there isn't much to share about her, but I think she's interesting in her own way.

✨Aurora comes from an average family, with two somewhat strict but loving mothers, who didn't know what to expect when their only daughter was born an alchemist.

My thoughts on MCLLL's drama - Episode 12 & 13 (English/Español)

I've never done a Tumblr post before, but... Today I felt like sharing my thoughts on what has been happening in MCL lately. The issue of the infidelity with Eric and the relationship problems with your respective LI (I want to apologize in advance if there are mistakes in my English, I'm still learning).

Nath is my LI and I've decided to be faithful to him. I'm not surprised at all, I don't like Eric. I used to like him, that's true, but when his interest towards Candy became obvious, I couldn't help but feel very uncomfortable with his presence, and eventually I ended up disliking him. But, even if it there was an option to be unfaithful with other LIs (Castiel, for example, who is the second LI I like the most), I wouldn't be able to do it either. I've been in love with Nath for 6 years, the simple idea of hurting him like that completely destroys me.

I won't deny that I feel deeply sad with the decisions Beemoov has made with the development of Candy and her relationship. Deep down, I get it, the cheating option wouldn't be very successful if the relationship is perfect and it wouldn't make much sense for Candy to be tempted towards another character if her relationship is going great. Why would we want to cheat on them if that's the case? Obviously, problems are needed. But... I don't know. I'm so, so tired. It hurts me so much to see how a lot of us have lost interest, even all affection for our LIs just because of this.

And what scares me the most is that this situation could be even longer. What I hope is that in the next episode Candy and her LI will finally have time to talk about this whole issue, that she will have the opportunity to make things totally clear, about how lonely she feels. I hope that they'll open their eyes and both will make efforts (especially the LIs) to solve it. However, with Beemoov you never know. What I really don't want to happen is things turning out just like in Morgan and Alexy's relationship. Alexy kept secret his affair for a really looong time and still wanted to keep it to himself until his friends convinced him to tell the truth (That's what I remember, you can correct me if I'm wrong). Ugh, I want this to end sooo badly.

I want the LIs to demonstrate the love they have for Candy, just like they did on the Valentine's day event. Not just on a special day, but every day. I want to spend time with Nath, my boyfriend, who I live with. A worthwhile date, I mean, I wouldn't mind spending 1000 APs on dialogues on a date with them, that's why I've played for so many years. The little moments we've had don't make me happy. Beemoov makes the most important scenes so short... But they make those scenes with Candy's friends eternal.

About Eric being a possible LI... I'm not sure about that. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I don't trust him. Ignoring the fact that I still love my LI a lot, there's something in his words during the previous episode that didn't quite convince me, I don't feel that Eric's love is honest. I'd feel awful for those who wish to have something else with Eric that's worth it, to end up with crap. Which is likely... Because there'll be a bad ending in this game.

Anyway. I wonder what'll happen now. I can't deny that it's been a long time since I've been excited for a new episode (I think I just want to get rid of this weight on my shoulders, bc I truly want things to change for the better with my lovely Nath, haha :c). Nunca he hecho un post en Tumblr antes, pero… Hoy me sentí con ganas de compartir mis pensamientos sobre lo que ha estado sucediendo en CDM últimamente. El asunto de la infidelidad con Eric y los problemas de relación con la respectiva ruta.

Nath es mi ruta y he decidido serle fiel. No me sorprende en lo absoluto, no me gusta Eric. Solía agradarme, eso es cierto, pero cuando su interés por Sucrette se hizo más que evidente, no pude evitar sentirme muy incómoda con su presencia, y eventualmente desarrollé desagrado hacia él. Aún así, aunque fuera una opción ser infiel con otras rutas (Castiel, por ejemplo, que me gusta mucho), tampoco podría hacerlo. Lo que espero es que en el próximo episodio Sucrette y su ruta finalmente tengan tiempo para hablar de todo este asunto, que ella tenga la oportunidad de dejar las cosas totalmente claras, hablar sobre lo sola que se siente. Espero que ellos abran los ojos y ambos hagan esfuerzos (especialmente las rutas) para resolverlo. Sin embargo, con Beemoov nunca se sabe. Lo que realmente no quiero que suceda es que las cosas sucedan como en la relación de Morgan y Alexy. Alexy mantuvo en secreto su engaño durante un tiempo muy largo y todavía quería guardárselo para sí mismo, no decirle a Morgan, hasta que sus amigas le convencieron de decir la verdad (o al menos es lo que yo recuerdo, me pueden corregir si estoy equivocada). Los pequeños momentos que hemos tenido no me hacen feliz. Beemoov hace que las escenas más importantes sean tan cortas... Pero hacen que esas escenas con los amigos de Sucrette sean eternas.

Acerca de que Eric sea una posible ruta… No estoy muy segura de eso. No sé si soy la única, pero no confío en él. Ignorando el hecho de que todavía amo mucho a mi ruta, hay algo en sus palabras durante el episodio anterior que no me convenció, no pienso que el amor de Eric sea honesto. Me sentiría mal por aquellos que desean tener algo más con Eric que valga la pena, para acabar con una mierda. Lo cual es probable... Porque habrá un final malo en este juego.

En fin. Me pregunto qué pasará ahora. No puedo negar que ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que siento ansias por un nuevo episodio (creo que sólo quiero deshacerme de este peso sobre mis hombros, porque realmente quiero que las cosas cambien para mejor con mi querido y amado Nath, jaja :c). No pude evitar pensar en ello todo este mes.
