So, reading some fanfics I noticed that is common in the fandom to portray Egon's parents (specially his father) as cold and even mean monsters since the "My parents didn't believe in toys" line happened in the second movie.

I know that out there are cold and abusive parents who become so strict for the children to prioritize education that turns them into anxious and depressed adults later, but I also know that there are parents who, while flawed and not explicitly affectionate, still are loving and supporting of their children and want to grow and learn to act more caring in their old age.

For the sake of variety, I would like to read a story where Egon has a good relationship with his parents. Showing his parents who may not verbalize the phrase "I love you", or feel awkward with hugs, but aren't mean spirited villains and want to talk with their son about his feelings and show how much they have pride on him.

I want to made a website to discuss if certain things are canon or fanon. Like you enter and have a filter system so you can search by fandom or/and character and people will post they doubts like 'is Snape Draco's godfather?' or 'whats the deal with Clint and the vents?' and then other users can vote if fanon or canon, if you chose canon you have to justify but if you vote fanon you can expose why the fandom assume that. Like reddit but only headcanon/canon related.

Never something I can put in a portfolio and land me a job 🤡🤡🤡

Would anyone be interested in a simplified version of the Jason reading carrd with this format? Rather than putting every single issue it's a list of comics from each era (pre-crisis, post-crisis, new 52, etc) that highlights his origin/personality at the time, and issues with his dynamic with different batfam members/his friends for fics research. I've been working on it on and off for a few weeks but if anyone finds it useful I will try to finish it sooner ^^

I know they were juggling a lot of characters but no quick mention of her or glimpse is like. is she still just 12 and homeless traveling the world completely alone, probably not going to school still. wdym vlad is taking dark danny in while he alrEADY HAS A CANONICAL DAUGHTER HES NEGLECTING???? Fandom Problem #4315:

I feel like cartoon fandoms have gotten incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. I was into this show that has been over since the 90s so I got excited when I saw there were still fans of this show so I started interacting with them and they started screaming and yelling at me for sending to many asks instead telling me nicely to stop. They eventually drove me off tumblr for a while because they turned all my friends against me. I was feeling lonely and isolated before now they really made me feel lonely and isolated. I made a mistake but they didn’t care they just kept triggering me into exploding every time I apologized so I gave up. Cartoon fandoms aren’t what they used to be they were always so welcoming now if you send to many asks you deserve to be lonely and isolated.

however, i will never tolerate fic slander, ive dropped thousands of fics at this point cause i dont agree with the characterization in the same way i dont agree with some artists' renditions, but thats people spending their time writing something they love so "this fandom has horrible fics" is a shitty thing to say always

Camp camp is by far the worst fandom I’ve been in, and my biggest problem is the ships. Like we already know proshipping is bad but like the endless ships of the kids that are 9-12ish isn’t concerning?

Sometimes I FR wonder if anyone in this fandom has ever even met a 10 year old because most of them couldn’t care less about dating and even if they do it’s a elementary bf/gf/significant other therefore no one looks back at it and thinks seriously about it. I get that camp camp kids are mature but they are still kids despite this. I babysit and also used to go to a K-12 school, therefore I see little kids a lot and heres a list of things they would rather do than fall in love with each-other:

-learn long division

-be considered a “big-kid”

-go to McDonalds

-play

-go shopping in the toys isle at target

-explain their interests

-play Roblox or Stumble Guys

-race their bikes around the block

-throw fits & whine

-watch YouTube and cartoons and Disney channel and stuff

-make videos with their friends

-draw

-make books and storylines and universes and creative stuff

-etc
