You’re a professional nutritionist, working in the same gym as a personal trainer named Tanaka Ryunosuke. Many people who work out regularly need specific meal plans to reach their goals, and you were there to provide them.
It’s a small gym, so there weren’t a lot of specialists there and you and Tanaka mostly worked with the same people. He’s a nice guy, you admire the way he can be so tough and strict with the more experienced clients while softening and pulling out his greatest encouragement for the ones who were just starting on their fitness journey.
Today you had an appointment with a familiar client who already had Tanaka as his trainer for several months. While going over the nutritional plan he would start next week, you kept glancing over at where Tanaka was running on the treadmill beside his client and yelling encouragements at him while gradually raising the speed and/or incline on the machine. It made you smile, before focusing back on your job.
However, the client noticed your wandering gaze and chuckled. “Funny, Tanaka always looks at you like that when you’re working, too.”
“What? No, no way… Why would he do that?”
The man chuckled breathily. “Why do you do it?”
You scowled stubbornly, pretending to take some important notes. “I admire his… work ethic.”
“Interesting. That’s what he said about you.”

When you two met up again later, just before closing time, Tanaka was still panting from the last workout, towel slung haphazardly around his neck. You gave him a questioning look before turning back to the scheduled appointments for the rest of the week.
“That plan you made for me has been working great, I think my arms are getting bigger,” he bragged, one hand squeezing the opposite bicep to show off for you. Barely sparing him a glance, for your own sake, you nodded and smiled.
“You look very good,” and he finally got your full attention when he knocked over a mop and scrambled to clumsily pick it up. “Careful, Bambi, we’re supposed to prevent injuries.”
He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly while leaning on the mop pole, flushed cheeks from more than just his workout. “I’m actually on cleaning duty tonight. Wanna maybe… stick around and play loud music on the speakers?”
You licked your lips, doing a terrible job of hiding your bright grin at the invitation. Deny it all you want, you have a crush on the gym’s resident hottie, and he’s a really good guy.
“Yeah, I’ll stick around.”

Tanaka was not the most thorough in his cleaning duties, so you finally exited the gym and locked up after only twenty minutes. He held the door for you, and you looked around outside. “Which direction are you going?” you asked.
Tanaka pointed over his shoulder, lips pursed before he spoke. “I was planning on getting some sushi, would you… like to come?” he asked, and you nodded quickly.
“That sounds awesome, I’d love to!” you agreed, already starting the walk there and looking to the side where Tanaka tucked his hands in his pockets.
“And tomorrow… maybe a coffee before work?” he added, wondering to himself if he was doing the right thing going slow instead of asking you to marry him already.
“Sure.”
“...And then we can have lunch together.”
“Tanaka…”
“We should date.”
“There we go.”

ZoSan Boxer Au
I am not too proud! I know when to ask for help... some of y’all may have seen my post a couple weeks ago about the pro-boxer Zoro x Nutritionist chef Sanji AU.
Well, I’ve started it but I’m only a little into Skypeia in the anime so I’m having a hard time placing characters' roles in this AU. Does anyone want to help me brainstorm?
So far we’ve got:
Zoro = Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight professional boxer
Sanji = Nutritionist/ Personal chef
Luffy= championship featherweight boxer
And honestly, everything else is kind of up in the air still!!
I was going to have Nami as the boxing Team’s manager or maybe the PR specialist.
I was thinking of having Usopp train in the gym with them but the poor guy is just really scared of getting hit so he hasn’t made a boxing debut yet.
Robin… eeehh? Could be a professional boxer or could be something more administrative
Chopper as a team physician makes sense but I don’t know how he translates to a modern AU. Kind of tempted to keep him a lil reindeer and let that be totally normal since it’s my AU and I can do whatever, right?
Does anyone want to help me out? What do I do with Robin? Where do Vivi, Frankie, and others fit in? Does the gym have coaches? Shanks? Hawks?

Update
Today, six months have passed since I've come home from the hospital!
I've made a lot of progress during this time. I have muscles again 💪 😁. Instead of needing a Walker to walk, I'm climbing stairs and getting in half-hour walks with 3.5 lb weights on each ankle. Working on stamina is my current focus in physical therapy. But I'm also continuing with strength-training and balance.
I came home with a frozen right shoulder (staying in the hospital a month, while life-saving, also deconditions the body big-time). My shoulder unfroze with stretching a month ago, and now I'm rebuilding the muscles around it.
I also came home with a feeding tube in my stomach. That came out two months ago, and I'm eating a variety of foods, working with a specialist nutritionist.
I had a liver drain, too (that suuuucked), but that was removed a few weeks after I got home.
My surgical wound was the Grand Canyon. It's healed a lot but still has months to go. It prevents me from doing certain things, including working on my laptop. Can't finish the batch of comics that just need dialogue boxes. 😅
But I'm using my tablet to write, continuing to work on *Those Who Play with Demons*. This T7S fic is going to break my chapter record. I'm such a sweet summer child when I let my imagination run free, thinking all these story and character elements can fit into 1/5 of the chapters they actually need. This one's breaking the hundred-chapter barrier easily. (But it's organized is such a way that I haven't done previously.)
The characters of Point Place have never experienced what my story is doing to them. 😈😇
Although I have a ways to go to regain all the things I can regain without a colon, my health is very good! And I'm going to keep moving forward.
Another surgery is on the menu, but that probably won't be for a year. I'm seeing my surgeon next month to talk about it. This one won't be done in a life-saving emergency situation like my first one. All the work I'm doing is, in part, to be in the best shape possible for the next (and last, let's hope) surgery that will put my small intestine back where biology intended. 😂
When the time comes, I'll make a post here. No disappearing without a word (barring unforeseen events). I shouldn't be in the hospital longer than three to five days. But, again, I'm talking a year from now.

Hi!
I'm a 32 year old woman who, as a result of poor health over the last couple of years, gained over 25 Kg and lost my fitness levels. I used to be able to run over 10Km and fight like a boxer but am now struggling to manage even basic things.
Fitness regimes and diet routines even by nutritionists have not helped ' they have just made temporary change.
Can you suggest a way I can retrain myself to go back to my old fitness levels ?

Listen, I'd love to give you all the fitness and nutrition tips. But I'm going to be real with you - you need to get your health under control first - mentally, physically, and spiritually. I'm not an MD, but sounds like if you have arthritis so young you may have some immuno stuff going on? Or other things - struggling with basic things concerns me, either physical or mental health or both. I think start with the basics and get your health right first by seeing a doctor or specialists. Address whatever you need to. Advocate for yourself. You are worth it. Then you start baby small steps: get enough sleep, try to eat balanced as much as you can, try to move as you can. Because once you address the underlying issues on why you've experienced poor health (because it sounds like gaining weight was a result of poor health, not that you gained weight and then had health issues), then we can chat all day about fitness strategies <3

So a quick update on where my life is right now!
Two weeks ago, I had a doctors appointment to talk about my weight and was referred to a weight loss clinic in our closest biggest city. Because I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and eating disorder issues, my doctor wanted a more comprehensive care for me and this seemed like the best fit.
After a week, I received a call from my doctor at the clinic and we went over the plan. I will be meeting with a nutritionist, sports medicine specialist, behavioural therapist, and medical doctors and create a full plan for me to help me move towards my goal.
By the end of June I will have met with the entire team and start working towards my goals.
This week I met with my nutritionist and we decided a high protein approach would be best for me. It will help with my snacking , and hunger I feel all the time. I have a goal of 100g of protein per day, and every 2 weeks bring my caloric intake down by 200 calories and see what my body does. If I am losing weight, I stay at that amount until I plateau. If I don’t lose weight, I will adjust it again by 200 calories. Eventually the goal is to bring me down to 1600 calories per day but it will be a slow process.
So exciting things on the horizon, and I am looking forward to what all of thing will bring into my life!
