Thinking about Sirius introducing Regulus to his new friends.

11 year old Regulus following after his brother like a scared kitten because after living in that cold house for years, everything suddenly seemed so loud and lively and scary. Sirius knew how hard it was for him when he first joined Hogwarts a year ago, and his little brother was always rather bad with big crowds.

Ofcourse the Marauders took him in immediately. Even though Regulus made his own friends at some point, he never turned his back at his brother and his friends. After all, they were his friends too. Remus, with whom he studied or just sat in silence whenever the tumult of Hogwarts got too overwhelming. Peter, who showed him how to bake and care for plants. And James, who would train with him for the entrance examination for the quidditch team.

So it was no wonder, that when they all decided to become Animagi, they also asked Regulus to join. It was James who had loudly declared that they couldn't leave out "mini Black".

But it was Sirius, who called out "Toebeans!" when Regulus turned into a little black cat. Regulus had rolled his eyes at the time, but secretly, he loved it. It made him feel even more connected to his brother. Padfoot and Toebeans.

However, there certainly were times when he wished he could obliviate them all (himself included). Like that time when Sirius screamed "BEAAANS" through the great hall and Regulus wished he could hide inside Evan’s rope from all the eyes.

So I HC Sebastian's animagus form as a fox. It suits him extremely well IMHO - he's cheeky, wily, playful, sneaky, mischievous, and not above getting into trouble.

Just look at this and tell me you don't see it

When putting together the Ravenclaw commonroom back in October, I had to fill the planters with something, so I started searching through my runtime and found a ring of lavender. @lil-grem-draws and I had already started on the Helliam AU and I thought how cute would it be if Hellendil transfigured whatever had been there into lavender so he could come take a sniff, or pick a sprig when he was missing Will. It turned out to be a great idea, because the house elves could place additional decorations in the center for the holidays!

A few weeks ago, I showed her, we had a good laugh and then Hellendil proceeded to convince Will they should have a cuddle there in their animagus forms. So here are our animal babies, cuddling in the lavender planter. 💕

Harry uncrosses his arms and grips the edge of the counter behind him, and he expects Draco to close the small distance between them, but Draco’s teeth scrape against his lower lip, leaving lines in his lipstick. He glances around the countertop, eyes settling on a roll of paper towels. Draco rips one off the roll, folds it in half, and brings it to his mouth.

“Don’t,” Harry blurts. Draco’s hand drops, and Harry slides the paper towel out of his fingers. “I like it.”

“But if I-“

Harry’s lips smother Draco’s words, reducing them to a pleased hum as his hands find Draco’s waist. “I like it.”

“It’s not-“

Harry snuffs his words out again, tugging Draco forward by his belt loops, pulling their bodies flush. Draco sighs as he eases into Harry. Draco’s hands grip the edge of the counter as he pins Harry against it, lips languid and bodies pressed tight.

Harry pushes forward, and his lips slide against Draco’s, smearing his lipstick. Harry’s tongue darts out, tasting, tracing, teasing. Flowers, he thinks distractedly. Draco’s lipstick tastes like flowers, and Draco kisses the way ivy grows; insistent, slipping through openings, persistent, claiming everywhere he touches.

Harry breaks away for a breath, but Draco’s lips find him again. Draco’s hips grind against Harry’s, and a hand threads through Harry’s hair. Draco grabs a fistful of hair, and Harry gasps as sharp pain rips an eager whimper from his lips.

Trapped, Harry thinks, and a thrill zips through him. Draco keeps a firm grip on his hair, tilting his chin and exposing his neck. Draco’s hard body pins him to the counter. Draco’s lips lay hot kisses down Harry’s neck, and Harry’s surrounded and surrendering.

Pinpricks of errant magic race down Harry’s arms. He cracks an eye open, and a golden dust sifts from Draco’s skin.

Teeth press into Harry’s neck, and a deep groan shakes his chest.

“Fuck,” he whispers, but his tone says please.

“Draco,” he moans, but it means yours.

“Fuck,” Draco murmurs against Harry’s skin, but it tastes like more.

“Harry,” he says, lips against Harry’s hair, but it feels like mine.

Harry buries his face in Draco’s shoulder and moans as Draco’s cock presses against his in a slow, too slow, thrust through far too many layers of clothing. Harry’s hand slips down to grip Draco through his trousers, and Draco grunts and pulls his hand away.

“Not yet.”

Harry’s chest rises and falls with shallow breaths. Golden motes of Draco’s magic float around them, and sweat trickles down Harry���s back.

Draco’s fingers in his hair are far too warm, and Harry realises he can’t feel his own hands. The magic that began as pinpricks down his arms has settled into a steady, nerve-jangling buzz, and he holds numb hands in front of his face. His fingers wiggle at his command, but he can’t feel Draco’s shirt as he rubs them against it.

“Uhm.” Harry glances up at a very flushed Draco. “Explain?”

“Hm? Oh. Magic.” Draco plants a final kiss on Harry’s forehead and steps back, fingers trailing down his own side in a half-hearted gesture. “A millennium of selective breeding, remember?”

Harry’s wry chuckle doesn’t quite hide his disappointment. He’d had every intention of fucking in this kitchen. He tugs his shirt down and adjusts his trousers, whilst Draco steps around to the other side of the kitchen island.

“So… you overheat and anaesthetise men? Like some kind of weird tropical plant?”

“Nooo,” Draco sing-songs, with a tilt of his chin. “I am not a hothouse flower.” He glances around the greenhouse he lives in. “Not technically.”

Midnight Romp

The forest floor was spongy beneath his paws, as he paced in a frantic circle, desperate to find him. His scent was still heavy in the air, but he wasn't answering. Growing frustrated, he followed the freshest scent he could find, forcing his way through the dense underbrush. Branches and brambles clawed at his silky fur, tearing out clumps, as he broke free. The air curled around his muzzle in wispy fog, as he let out an exasperated huff. Crickets chirped in the distance, undisturbed by his presence. Something slammed into his hind quarters, causing him to lose his balance and stumble forwards. Whipping around, he found his fox friend peering up at him, his silver eyes glinting in the dark. He let out an excited chuff and leapt after him, chasing him into the night.

Spiritual animal and TikTok trends: bunny/fox/cat/deer or eagle/bear/dog/reptile

One of my interests since forever has been the discovery of my spiritual animal. To know what would I become if I was an animagus, what would my Patronus be, what could I become in case a Fairy Godmother would appear and transform me in a beautiful and wild creature.

Up until today, I still don't know what my spiritual animal is. I used to be a hedgehog, as I was shy and socially insecure, but that is not the case anymore. And I really think that the spiritual animal should reflect both what we think about our inner self and how others perceive us. This just makes the issue more complicated. I just hope that I will find it someday. I mean... isn't that the purpose of this blog?

For all this, I find this new TikTok trend truly fascinating. It is called fox pretty, cat pretty, deer pretty or bunny pretty. Apparently, in Korea they use animals as adjectives, and TikTokers have adapted this tradition into a new theory: that any girl can fit in one of these four beauty types. Regarding the boys, they can be classified in other four types: eagle, bear, dog or reptile.

I have my issues with all this, as it is very limiting both because of the animal options and the gender frame in which it is based. On top of this, it is difficult to find useful sources that actually explain what chracterizes each beauty type: I get it is because of the facial features, but I find very difficult to classify every friend I know into one of this options. In any case, it is FUN.

What I end up thinking is that the fox/cat/deer/bunny is mostly based on the eyes shape. Though I will shortly describe each beauty type in more detail, the basic idea is that each of them is characterized by their EYES. The fox has sharp or small eyes, and the bunny is the opposite as it has very round, large eyes.

FOX pretty have angular features, and a 'foxy' stare, thus, small, sharp eyes. They can have a strong jawline, high cheekbones and look taller than they are. Their aura inspire sensuality and their stare pierce through you. An example of this would be, as her own name says, Megan Fox:

CAT pretty is characterized by almond eyes, slightly upturned, in a somehow angular face but not as sharp as in the FOX. Cat pretties look small, petite people. Their aura is attractive, charismatic and intelligent. An example would be Anok Yai:

DEER pretty have this shocking, big eyes that at the same time scream elegance. They usually have soft features in oval faces, with no angularity but either excessive roundness as the bunny. They have this chicness and noble energy, and a perfect example of this beautiful eyes would be Audrey Hepburn:

BUNNY pretty are all about big eyes, maybe slightly downturned. They have soft cheeks, round faces and light features, and an aura of innocence and purity that is also very feminine. Many websites also link this pretty type to an imperfect smile, which are the most adorable. I can't think of a better example than Ellie Fanning:

At the end this TikTok trend can be equivalent to the Kibbe or Kitchener theories regarding the yin yang balance. They are thinking frames truly interesting that deserve posts of their own, but basically yang means masculine energy, involving sharp and angular feaures while yin represent feminity and round, soft traits. If you know anything about kibbe, you could say that fox equals to dramatic type, cat to gamine, bunny to romantic and deer to classic. But really don't worry about this, I will explain better later.

What I like very much about this trend is that it also has a word to say about men, so many times ignored in the fashion style world. Their system is not as focused in the stare or the eyes as in the “girl types”, but in the whole aura. As I said before, there four beauty types are eagle/bear/dog/reptile.

EAGLE handsome is characterized by intense eyes and piercing stare, that can come with thick brows and angular features in a diamond face shape. An example would be the one and only Chris Hemsworth:

BEAR handsome has square features, broad shoulders and tends to be muscular. His eyes are bigger than the bear's, and have a stronger jawline. The bear presents a very masculine aura. An example would be Henry Cavill:

DOG handsome is tremendously charismatic: his smile lights up the whole room, and appears more lean, friendly and less intimidating than the bear and the eagle. Maybe its because his big, dreamy eyes. You know a dog when you see him, as his good vibes are contagious. An example would be Steve Carell:

REPTILE handsome refers to the pretty boys, those that are not very masculine but still nice to see. They have soft features, big eyes, and look like a charming prince from a fairy tale. An example would be Harry Styles:

This is all I have to say for now. I found this trend very fun to research, and though it has its flaws, it really is an introduction to sense the energy of the people. All your comments are more than welcome, and I hope this will help you and me to find our inner feather!

Animagus Fox Sebastian Doodles

As I seen before with other people's headcanons from @cursedonyx's post as to why Sebastian's animagus form would be a fox to @tamayula-hl's awesome drawing of fox!Sebastian, I couldn't help but do some doodles of Fox!Sebastian.

Featuring my MC, Iñaki Marquez Cariaga (or MC for short since she gets tired of people using her full double last name lol) and my head cannon how he felt about having a fox as an animagus form.

MC: Come On Sebastian! What are you so mad about? You're finally an Animagus!

(Also I was too lazy to color in my MC, but she's a brown Type IV skin tone on The Fitzpatrick Scale)

Originally when Sebastian shifted to his animagus form, he disliked his animagus fox form. Unlike a true red fox, Sebastian's fox fur has more of a brownish tint but it's still red enough to fool those who don't know his fox form. He also has black spotted fur where his freckles would be, but again most people would write it off if they didn't know what they were looking for.

After holding that mandrake leaf under his tongue and making a potion out of it under the supervision of Natty, he was finally able to become an animagus like Natty and MC.

However when Sebastian shifted to his animagus form, he was rather surprised at how small he was compared to the animal forms Natty (gazelle) and MC (jaguar) had. In comparisons to their forms, he felt that his own animagus form was lame and boring as he looked at himself in the compact mirror MC used to have Sebastian look at his animagus-self.

Sebastian: What's wrong? You want to know what's wrong? I got the most common animal seen in all of Britain! I'm a fox. That's my problem 😤

He wasn't a big fan of his animagus form.

At least until MC reminded him how useful his form could be since he's just an everyday fauna native to the UK unlike hers or Natty's animagus form. Since then, Sebastian has lived up to his animagus form's mischievous reputation, being able to sneak around the castle freely without any issues since it's isn't uncommon to see foxes nearby Hogwarts.

Sebastian soon learned to love his form, getting into all sorts of mishaps and out of it like a real cunning and adaptive fox.

if you ever see a fox on MC's lap out on Hogwarts grounds, she will lie and say it's just a friendly fox she befriended while petting the grinning purring fox 🦊. (Apparently foxes can purr as seen here, here and here. I didn't know that till recently 😲)

If you asked her what she named the fox, she's say Zorro in a panic, since it literally means fox in Spanish and also because of the Zorro vigilante character MC introduced to Sebastian earlier that day.

Sebastian ends up liking that name and keeps it for his fox form.

Anyhow, here's fox!Sebastian resting after a long afternoon of being mischievous. He probably feels pleased with himself after burying Leander's wand he stole and got belly rubs from MC who is unaware of what he just had done. Now he's napping.

(And Yes I know Iñaki is a boy's name in the Spanish speaking world, 🙄😒 but I liked the name for her. Besides Anglophones will probably see the letter "i" at the end of a name and assume it's a girl's name like Nikki, Rikki and any variants of it 😅😂🤣

MC underwent a different process to become an animagus back in the Americas where's she's from; one day I'll write a story about her if I ever feel up for it...

...just know that if I ever write about my MC it will more so be of an AU of Hogwarts Legacy that takes place during the late 2000's cause I wanted to see how the cast will react to muggle I mean nomaj technology MC introduces them to when this Yankee ends up transferring to Hogwarts due to her dad's job. Unfortunately for MC, her family was also a victim of layoffs right before the Great Recession officially started. Luckily for her family, her dad got a job but they all had to move to London.

And MC will definitely sing or play "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)" song to annoy Sebastian to no ends after it comes out in 2013 and has it as her ringtone for him when he calls her on her cell phone since then🤣)

(I like to think that the UK is more behind or...really against on merging magic with muggle tech which is already super popular in Japan/China/Korea, popular in the Americas and other countries as well. It's not as popular in Europe, at least within the purebloods, but you can see some muggleborns and half-bloods trying to import/make it and using it if they are able to get it. 😅)

Normally you'd be just as riled up as Sirius during your play-fights, but Remus can tell you're suffering from a rough case of fatigue. You hadn't slept well the night prior, and it's showing in how clumsy your movements are as you scramble around their dorm room, attempting to evade Padfoot's sharp teeth.

When you yelp upon collision with Remus's ankle beneath his desk he reaches down to pick you up, and you're plopped into his lap without further hesitation. Sirius's long snout is already snuffling eagerly against Remus's thighs, intent on grabbing you by the scruff of the neck, but Remus shoos the dog away, wrapping a protective arm around your curled-up form.

"Enough, Pads. Let her rest," Remus chides, stroking a hand between your ears and finding it hard to refocus on his homework when you shiver at the contact, letting out a preciously sweet chitter.

With a whoosh Sirius is no longer four-legged, and the two that he retained sprawl out and knock into Remus's own under the desk.

"You're no fun, Moony," Sirius gripes, fingers pinching tightly at your furry side before Remus can swat him away, "I was winning, y'know."

"That's because she's sleepy," Remus notes, letting you burrow under the hem of his sweater after yelping indignantly at Sirius's prying fingers, "She could knock you to the ground any other day, Pads."

"That's not true!" Sirius gawps, but James sees fit to involve himself as he clamors off of his bed and reaches for Sirius's wrist. There's four pinpricks against his skin, barely-there scars that you'd embedded into his arm- or, rather, paw, during a particularly aggressive wrestling match a few months back.

"She's vicious," James reminds him, "I'd bring up the ones on your ass, too, but none of us want to see those."

"'M gonna get those tattooed over," Sirius declares, grinning doggedly up at Remus, "Just a reminder that your girlfriend's bit my ass more than she ever has yours, Moony."

"That's not true." Comes Remus's deadpan reply, eyes still rigidly focused on his schoolwork, "I'd enlighten you with just how disproportionate that ratio is, Pads, but I've lost count."
