For the kiss roulette: Fox & Thire and 8. A platonic kiss if you'd like?
Thank you for the request!
Fox had several theories for why Thire was the way he was. The first was the fact he was three centimeters shorter than the average trooper and the fact he was tiny filled him with rage that boiled over into him being a little punk all the time.
Maybe it was his time spent around the little green jedi leader that had changed him. Fox knew Gree had decided to plop bright red bacon strips on his head after transferring so clearly the troll had some sort of mind numbing effects on people. Thire might have been saved from the full brunt of it but enough might have lingered as chaos in his soul.
Or maybe they messed up the amount of bastard they put into the fluid of his growth tank and he had just been this way since he was a tubie. The force knew the Kaminoans had miscalculated on that ratio with the Alphas and no one was brave enough to even mention the Nulls out loud in case the force saw fit to take that as a summons.
The point was, Thire was a scrappy thing that didn't know when to shut up or sit down and that meant that Fox was gonna have to step in.
"You're my favorite but don't tell Thorn or he'll cry. But just because you're my favorite doesn't mean you can headbutt a Marine just for talking shit. You're a commander now." Fox said pressing a kiss to Thire's forehead playfully, like he was a troublesome puppy he was fond of.
Thire scowled and shoved him away grumpily. "Then tell Bacara he needs to get his shit together and leash his men. I won't stand around while they talk shit to my shinies. I'll kick their asses and if he won't fix it I'll kick his ass too!" He growled.
Fox laughed. "You think you'll kick his ass but he's nearly as good as me. He'll beat the living force out of you then I'll have to kick his ass for hurting my favorite little brother." He pointed out and Thire just shrugged then winced at how that pulled on a bruise.
"Either was Bacara's getting his ass kicked so why would I care?" He said and Fox sighed ruffling his hair.
"How about neither of us kick his ass and instead I make tooka eyes at Cody that the guard is getting bullied and then we sit back and watch Cody kick everyone's asses?" He offered as an alternative and Thire grinned.
"Acceptable plan. I guess that's why you're Marshal huh?" He teased and Fox winked.
"Being the baby of the batch has its perks. You still have to learn them since you're the baby here." He said and before Thire could argue Thorn came busting through the door to fuss over their littlest commander too.
Fox just grinned knowing another headbutting was imminent. He really didn't know why Thire was the way he was, but he was definitely his favorite.

Ponds was the oldest.
He knew he was given to Seventeen to train because the Kaminoans wanted to prove a point. They thought Ponds too soft. Too generous. Too anxious. Too caring.
He was not what the Kaminoans thought Seventeen wanted for the individual training program. They had set both of them up for failure.
Seventeen had looked at him for a long while on their first meeting, his eyes hard and assessing. Then he had simply nodded, and gestured for Ponds to follow him.
Ponds learned very quickly that he was good at keeping the morale high. Good at keeping everybody's heads in the moment. Good at building bonds between other members of his squad.
He was given little brothers. All three of them brimming with energy, anger and potential. So much potential, that the Kaminoans didn't even know what to do with them anymore.
They just needed someone to calm them down. To gather them together. To teach them how to stop and think. How to follow each other's every move and work as a one, unified front.
Ponds learned how to teach them all of that. He learned how to lead them, and they learned how to lead from him.
Ponds was the oldest.
Fox was the youngest. He was short and slight, with scores that kept climbing up every single day and eyes that seemed both incredibly intelligent and deeply frightened.
Ponds knew that Fox was given to Seventeen to train because the Kaminoans wanted to prove a point. Fox was smaller than the rest of them. He wouldn't be able to keep up with the training. His scores would start to fall, and thus prove that the individual training didn't work, that they should all just get back in line.
Ponds was the oldest. Fox was the youngest.
They both had something to prove.
In the end, they did both prove themselves. Fox's scores kept getting higher. Ponds kept his little brothers in order.
(Ponds was the oldest.
He was always meant to be the oldest. The one who kept the rest of them in check, the one who had the last word.
So, when Cody back from Coruscant with fury in his eyes and treason on his tongue, Ponds sat him and the rest of them down.
Let's take a moment and think, he told them, and lay out the rules.
Ponds was the oldest.
He had been given little brothers, and he had loved them enough to make them and himself Commanders.)

Thorn, Stone, and Thire hold an intervention for Fox because his obsession with his supposed conspiracy about the war has gotten to unhealthy levels again so they force him to take a vacation somewhere he can’t disappear to fight gangs and assassins for days on end without sleeping.
They send him to the 501st because Cody can keep an eye on him and Rex, as the batch baby, may have some luck getting him to sleep. Fox decides to make this everyone else’s problem by getting into screaming matches with Anakin over his ability to make battle plans, terrorizing logistics officers, abducting shines into his “spy network” (aka cult, also known as being adopted), and ranting to anyone who will stay still long enough about how palpatine is secretly a sith and is controlling both sides of the war.
Fortunately he calms down a bit when they let him out of the ship onto a battlefield. He’s used to being able to run around Coruscant, which is a giant parkour playground, and doesn’t do well cooped up too long. Unfortunately the battlefield is Umbara.
When Krell gets there Fox tells him he’s shit to his face and pulls out his spreadsheet to prove it. (The spreadsheet is a meticulously crafted document ranking every Jedi general and commander based in multiple factors like casualties, treatment of troops, how the chancellor feels about them, ect. Number 1 is Plo Koon and 2 is Mace Windu. Krell is last, Anakin is second to last.) Rex keeps trying to get Fox not to pick fights with commanding officers and reminds him he’s supposed to be on vacation, but Fox doesn’t listen cause he’s too busy radicalizing the ARC troopers.
Krell dies of a heart attack because he drank Fox’s caff, which had enough caffeine to kill an elephant.

I would love to see a fic where Kal Skirata and his associates meet the Command Batch. (I'll write it myself. Eventually.)
The second Kal -- or any of them, actually, said something along the lines of, oh, I don't know, "Must be hard, working with a bunch a baby-stealers" or more Jedi-bashing shit like that, we all know how they'd react.
Cody: Listens for a moment, then politely sets off a riot.
Rex: "Okay, bitch, get over here."
Wolffe: There's a mass murder. How dare you insult his father?
Doom: Hits the speaker in the groin.
Neyo: "First off, FUCK YOU--"
Fox: "I want a Jedi! I don't give a fuck if they're baby-stealers, I need one!"
Bly: Strangles the speaker.
Bacara: He lets them talk for a while, laughs hysterically, and beats the shit out of them with his helmet. The only one allowed to be an acidic bastard toward his Jedi is him, goddammit! (If Ki-Adi is watching, he's touched by his Commander's display of affection.)
Gree: Proceeds to rip their reasoning apart with detailed fact-checking and citations. He has a slide show with dancing graphics.
Ponds: Gives them the glare his General gives to particularly enraging Separatists.
Monnk: Raises his middle fingers. Then he raises his middle toes.

I like to think that it takes the Command BatchTM a long time to realise how young Alpha 17 was when he was given them to train.
When they were kids and even as adults Seventeen is always this immovable pillar in their lives. Yeah he was a hardass who wouldn’t know his own emotions if they punched him in the face but he protected, cared for and taught them everything they need in order to survive and is the closest thing to a parent they have (except for Wolffe - he’s infinitely smug about this) He’s the reason they were the most successful batch on Kamino and later the most notable commanders of the war.
Then after the war and the improvement of clone rights, this documentary comes out exploring the years on Kamino before the Battle of Geonosis. It’s basically a horror show and includes footage taken by the Kaminoans to monitor and record their army building process (footage that would later be used in court to convict them of sentient rights violations and various other charges).
In the show there’s this one photo of Seventeen and his kids that’s basically that photo of the mom helping her kids beat their game as they crowd around her. The difference being that it’s a bunch of 6 year olds (developmentally) crowded around a 15 year old as he does his own coursework.
Alpha’s still in his red and blue uniform and has pimples and baby fat clinging to his face and he just looks so, so young.
Afterwards the batch phone him up and its like-
Command Batch: Damn we didn’t realise you were a teen mom… 😕
Alpha 17: …
Alpha 17: I didn’t realise i was a teen mom
It takes some more time for him to understand that this did indeed affect him as a person.
I like to think that while dropping Fox off at his ex corrie guard support group in the community centre he accidentally finds himself in a young parent support group and huh these experiences of giving up your childhood (or never having one) while trying to give your kids the best of everything and feeling far too grown up and responsible and afraid really kinda resonates with him.
He gets invited back to this group because, despite not being a teenager or actively parenting anymore, he has a lot of experience in child rearing (even if the avoiding the wrath of evil scientists doesn’t really apply anymore) and for some reason all of their kids adore him even if he scowls at them constantly.

Clone Wars Headcannons
All over the place but yeah enjoy
Ahsoka will let her men test out pick up lines before shore leave and give them tips on how to better pick up girls
Ahsoka picked up her eye rolling habit from Wolffe
Fives and Echo refer to Rex as “oh captain my captain” (Rex is very annoyed)
Clone troopers sleep better when they cuddle up with someone
Anakin has given Ahsoka and many of his men heart attacks when he randomly removes his prosthetic hand
There are painted line of the Resolutes floor near the medical bays to mark how far troopers have made it when they attempt to escape the medics
This usually ends with the medics full body tackling their vod and occasionally their Jedi
Hardcase has the furthest mark with Fives very near behind him
Much to Wolffe’s dismay young animals love to imprint of him during campaigns, he says he hates it but Sinker once saw Wolffe carrying around a baby loth cat wrapped in one of his blankets
Rex is a natural blonde due to a mutation and I will die on this hill
Fox and Wolffe have the highest spice tolerance of their batch and their brothers are very concerned for them
Based on the scene in the Umbara arc where Tup is hanging onto the gunship handle with 2 hands, he is a very nervous flier
Ahsoka noticed that Tup was a nervous flier and now tries to get on the same ships as him to help keep him calm
The 501st has different tallies up throughout the barracks for random things like ‘how many times the general loses his lightsaber’, ‘best quotes for the week’, etc
Clone troopers speak mando’a, kaminoan, and basic fluently
Rex always wins arm wrestling contests, even against Anakin
Ahsoka learned how to play sabacc from the Wolf Pack and has been banned from playing in most 501st circles because she always wins
The CCs have the ability to sleep with their eyes open and Wolffe and Fox actively chose to do so to creep everyone else out
Cody has broken his wrists and his shins from fist fighting droids but he continues to do it
Many troopers in the 501st have also attempted to fist fight droids but quickly stopped when the medics refused to treat them
Anakin has also attempted to fist fight droids and damaged his cybernetic hand enough that he had to get a new one
Ahsoka purrs when she sleeps close to other people
Hardcase almost cried when he first heard Ahsoka purr because he thought it was cutest damn thing
Capture the flag is the 501st’s favorite down time activity
Cody has hidden drugs in Obi-Wan’s tea to make him sleep which Obi-Wan was rather offended by but continued to accept all tea given to him by his commander
Ahsoka set up a projector in the rec room and on hyper space trips she plays holomovies so her men can be ‘cultured’
Ahsoka is good friends with Padme and Riyo Chuchi and regularly gets together with them for girls nights
Rex has gotten a tattoo while drunk but Cody is the only one that knows about it
Ahsoka found out when her men’s birthday or decanting days are and makes sure to wish them a happy birthday
Ponds, Bly, and Fox were very confused when they received a transmission from Rex, Cody, and Wolffe’s vod’ika wishing them a happy birthday

ok so i believe that the commander batch is
fox oldest brother, too tired to give a shit, hes intimidating and everyone in the galaxy is afraid of him, but his brothers arent and it makes him livid. when they tease him he tries to send them warning glares which make normal people piss themselves, but his batchmates start laughing everytime and fox hates them (no he doesnt hes the designated 'i need help getting rid of a body' brother)
cody and wolffe twins, fox calles them baby brothers because its funny, they are very close and treat eachother in a way which makes people without sibling very uneasy. wolffe will constantly start insane rumours about cody and everyone believes him because he gives 'no bullshit' energy, while cody will push him down the stairs with no hesistation
ponds is the true middlechild, the only one of them who keeps his braincells while they re together, noone except his batchmates knows how fucking unhinged he is, noone wants to get on his bad side. hes responsible for most of the bets going on between them
bly is the youngest and they all tease him relentlessly, his crush on aayla used to come up everytime they saw eachother but they gave up bcs instead of being mad, every single time bly just started daydreaming about her and they started teasing cody about obiwan instead. the only one of the batch without a menacing resting bitch face, wolffe once convinced him he was adopted
+forcefully adopted baby brother rex, cody just showed up with him one they and they just accepted it, they all love him so fucking much. wolffe is his best friend but cody is his favourite and they are inseparable, but when the whole batch gets together they always baby him and it always makes him hillariously annoyed (especially bly bcs he loves being the big brother for once)

Well...That Esclated Quickly
Here is another idea that came to me during my walk to work.  I want you to know, though it goes in a humorous direction it really is not a full fix-it.
When Order 66 went live, some of the chips did not activate. There is no rhyme nor reason as to which chips activate and which did not. Not a huge amount compared to the whole, but some. Enough that a few hundred Jedi and a Few thousand Clones regroup in the aftermath.
While you can fill in most of the blanks the following are included in my idea
Obi Wan Kenobi and a company’s worth of 212th clones, including Cody: Obi Wan was still shot off the cliff, to the horrified eyes of the still free clones. The still free clones don't have enough numbers to take on their brethren who appear to have gone insane, but do have enough to steal one of the midsized transport ships, one capable of hyperspace flight.  They reluctantly allow Obi Wan to go to Coruscant on his own, with the rationale that one person can sneak to the surface much easier than a whole company, while the clones establish a regroup point.  From there Obi Wan goes on the Mustafar, which ends as it did in canon. Obi Wan brings Padme to the transport ship where she still dies of complications of her pregnancy
Fox, Hound, a dozen other members of the CG, and the Younglings: Fox and the few members of the CG that were unaffected by O66 raced to beat the 501st to the Temple. They made it just a few minutes before their enslaved brothers. Just barely in time to evacuate the children in the creche with the help (and insistent sacrifice) of the adult Jedi.  While there were a few Creche Masters evacuated with the children, it was now basically just Fox and his CG functionally in charge of baby Jedi ranging from Babies to Pre teens. They connect with remains of the 212th before the events of Mustafar.
Yoda, who did still have to kill his commander in order to escape, but was able to bring a few clones with him.  They still end up being collected by Bail Organa.
Ahsoka, Rex, Jesse and  a portion of the maintenance team for their battalion: They do not meet up with the rest for quite some time (at least three years). Rex’s chip did activate but he was able to get Ahsoka the message about Fives. After Rex is freed they find Jesse and the other free clones (soft shells all) looking on in horror at their controlled brethren. With the help of the maintenance team they are able to escape from the ship without freeing Maul or crashing into the moon.  By the time they are able to look past the immediate situation, the Temple is already burning and it has been announced that the Jedi are traitors. These 25 or so go to ground in Mandalorian space and try to figure out how to free the clones from the chips (beyond surgery which really does not work with the numbers they have to deal with). They do not realize anyone else has survived.
Aayla survived, due to one of the clones (not Bly) pushing her out of the way and sacrificing his life for her. Bly’s chip does work. She escapes with two dozen free clones and six chipped clones tied up in the back (Including Bly, even the clones agree they cannot save everyone and hopefully it means that they can figure out what is going wrong).
Shaak Ti, 10 Veteran clones, 40 ‘Shinies’, 300 child and teenage cadets, three junior Kaminoan Scientists (not Nala Se) none of which knew about the chip or Order 66, and Omega.  Shaak Ti had been working with a few Kaminoan Scientists to see the clones as sentients in their own right and the reactions of the clones under the chip's control horrified a few of those scientists.  Between them and Omega, who had been paying attention and used this as a chance to escape the lab (the Bad Batch being off planet at the time) they were able to evacuate anyone not under the control of the chip.
All of these people (Barring Ahsoka and Co) converge on the ship that had been stolen by the free 212th clones. Had less children survived (about a third of the living Jedi are children under the age of 11, plus the cadets) they all would likely have split into small groups and made their own way through the galaxy. But there was just no way to break into small enough groups to be safe AND still make sure the children (and to some extent the Shinies) were taken care of.  They were also too large a group to go anywhere in the Republic, or even anywhere in Mandalorian space (There were an awful lot of uninhabited planets in the galaxy but most were uninhabited for a reason). Thus there was only one thing they could do.
Take over the Hutt Empire.
To be fair the take over part did start out accidentally. The actual goal was to find a place to lay low in the Hutt Empire, possibly the only place Palpatine’s Empire could not reach quite yet(at least until Palpatine solidified his rule).
So they found a planet within the Hutt Empire to lay low on, While Bail Organa left to begin planting the seeds for the rebellion (No Leia as the twins were not being split up). As much as I want it to be Tattoine, it just has too small a population to not have a couple of thousand people (Most of whom hide their very distinctive faces) showing not be noticeable. So they choose a planet with a higher population.
This is where the trouble began. All of our adults are deeply traumatized, trained warriors who are not used to sitting by, universally feeling useless. They are facing an insurmountable task, still mostly directionless, and deeply angry at life.
It starts with the local Hutt’s minions trying to shake down some newcomers, who were not looking for a target to vent their spleen but found one just the same. It does not end well for the minions. Nor the next six attempts, with different groups of Clones and Jedi each time.  No one has told Command yet, but they look at each other and ‘shit we can’t keep drawing attention to ourselves but we can’t leave either’
The solution (Commander Cody himself would like to reiterate this was not the correct solution)? Take out the Hutt. Then they realize that taking out the Hutt has just drawn more attention to this city as the other Hutts for the planet try to figure out who took out this one.
The next Solution? Take out the rest of the Hutts on the planet.
They have now drawn even more attention to the planet from yet more Hutts. This is the one thing that is critical they do not have.
The next Solution? Try three to make this plan work (Commander Cody reminds you that trying the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results, is the definition of insanity) and take out the Hutts looking for answers.
By the time that these small groups have admitted to Command (Obi Wan, Cody, Yoda, Shaak Ti, Fox) what is going on, a few months later, they have accidentally taken over the Hutt Empire.
The Hutt Empire that is still nominally allied with Palpatine’s Empire. The Hutt Empire that has to stay allied to Palpatine’s Empire if they do not want to draw the attention of the entire Imperial Forces to the largest concentration of living Jedi and free Clones in the galaxy.  The Hutt Empire that no longer has any active Hutts.
In this the human centric leaning of Palpatine’s Empire is actually helpful.  They very rarely wanted to deal with other species, so it was easy to appoint someone unknown but human to deal with the com calls and visits. It does mean that they have to make up a Hutt that they essentially have to play ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ with, a couple of times a year when a representative insists on meeting with the Hutt in charge.
Also the fact that Palpatine’s Empire is more interested in enslaving their own citizens for free as opposed to buying them from the Hutts means that they can shut down the slave trade within Hutt Space (over time).  Fox both loves and hates running a criminal empire.
It should be noted that, even with Bly and the five other chipped clones, no one actually knows what is going on until Rex and Co find their way back to them.  We are going with the thought that a level 5 atomic scan is a ludicrously high level of scanning. Like sitting on a Nuclear Reactor to get an X-Ray kind of ludicrous, so not only does no one think to do that level of scanning to see what is wrong, but they do not even have that kind of equipment readily available.  The reports about Fives from Rex never made it to any kind of centralized repository, there is no way to know why most clones suddenly started to kill Jedi. Bly and Co spend the three years before Rex shows up in a makeshift brig, they can function almost normally until a Jedi is brought up or in the room with them.
Bail laughs his ass off when he is told, through several intermediaries and coded messages, that the Jedi and the Clones accidentally took over a criminal empire.  Then he starts funneling the Path and the people his rebellion are rescuing into Hutt Space to find the Jedi.
Three years in Rex, Ahsoka, the clones with them (now having grown to nearly another thousand) arrive with the news that they can disable the chips from a distance of about a large cruiser.
That is how the Hutt Empire became freedom fighters.

I was thinking about how exactly the Royal Squad came to join the family, because adopting five clone cadets isn't exactly an impulse decision, and like
Fox interrupting Breha's schedule and approaching her as his queen, not his wife, and asking her for several million credits. And she knows that something is up because he's calling her Your Majesty and using corporate-speak and swearing to find some way to repay her. And neither of them are idiots, she knows there's nothing he can do to bring back that kind of cash no matter what job he gets.
So Breha, obviously, has questions. Maybe a thought or two in the back of her mind that Fox might not know what a spam email is. Fox is generally very calm and even-tempered so she wants to know what's going on and why he needs so much money.
Fox says that Kamino is going to sell off everything they can to recoup losses from the latest batches of clones that they're no longer being paid for. He says most of them will be sold to slavers. He says the ones that can't be sold will be killed. He says none of them are more than five years old. He says there's ten thousand of them and he knows it will be expensive, but he could never live with himself if he didn't find a way to save at least some of them.
Breha is weeping long before he's finished. She's seen his scars, she's heard him wailing with terror from nightmares, she's felt him flinch when she touches him without warning. She loves him, but she would do anything to change his past. She will do anything to spare his little brothers from the life that can never stop haunting him. She thinks of darling Leia, two years old and safely at home with Bail doting on her every move, and is sick at the thought of any baby being treated in the way Fox just described.
She gives Fox carte blanche to bring home every last child. He falls to his knees and kisses her hands, thanking her in jumbled words and eyes shining with tears. She has no regrets for the financial havoc she's just caused herself and will never let him repay her.
Fox brings home ten thousand and five children. He snarls at anyone who comes near the youngest, holding the runt of the litter his every waking moment, his hands always gentle but his eyes glaring a lethal warning. The legion of social workers deployed to help find homes for the children, well, they unanimously decide that that's someone else's problem.
(There's a bright spot in all this hustle and drama. As it turns out, selling children into the Core worlds... it's just so incredibly unbelievably illegal. Breha gets back every credit that Fox spent, and a reward for alerting the police to what the Kaminoans are doing. Clones have human rights on Alderaan, after all.)
Eventually, after several months of several thousand people working twelve-hour days, all ten thousand clone cadets have been placed with loving families all across the planet. There's still welfare checks and such to be done, but for now, everyone is safe, happy, and in no more danger from the Kaminoans.
This leaves five.
Fox finally goes home to the palace, after being one of those people working twelve-hour shifts, and says, "I adopted some. I didn't mean to."
Breha says, "I heard you cold-cocked someone for suggesting an adopted family for them on their third day here."
Fox has to say he did, yes, and he didn't mean to do that either, and he already apologised several times.
Breha smiles and says that Bail's been excited to meet them for weeks now, and won't Fox come to dinner?
Fox does come to dinner, and brings his tubies, far too nervous at the idea of leaving them with anyone else, even Leia's nannies. It doesn't surprise him when Breha is the first to bring it up.
"Bail and I talked about it, and we understand if you want to be their only legal parent. We know there's complexities around their adoption. Whatever support you want from us, you'll have it."
Fox doesn't expect his eyes to blur with tears, or for them to feel like tears of joy.
"Leia's my daughter," he whispers, "and these are your sons."
"Helio is a family name on my side, you know," Bail mentions. He smiles at the tubie in Fox's lap, who giggles and waves back with his little hand clenched around a green bean. Then Bail's gaze meets Fox's, and the fatherly love already in his eyes... it takes Fox's breath away.
"My parents once said that they planned to name me Vidal if I was a boy," Breha adds, and takes a sip from her glass. "Though I suppose some of them might have names already?"
Fox shakes his head. There were so many other things to be busy with that he's just been calling them by the last two digits of their CT numbers.
"I wasn't sure what to call them," he admits, "but I was sure you would love them."
They beam at that, and Fox manages to smile back, despite how exhausted he is from the past few months. There's still so much waiting in the future, but for tonight, he can take the time to breathe.
He falls asleep quickly that night, with his head in Breha's lap and her hand in his hair, Kit already fast asleep and curled into his side, listening to Bail read a bedtime story to all six of their tubies.

Ok so, Technically Boba and the clone commanders have the same age, even if Boba looks Younger thanks to him being an unaltered clone. So what if...
There was a time, very short one, when Boba was still very Young to join Jango in his hunting, lets say 4 to 6 years old, and he was left behind to be by himself he would find out there where other kids outside he could play with, but was never allowed to interact with?
Jango doesn't want Boba to get attached to the clones, not only because they would grow up way faster than him, but because they were all going to end up as meat droids in the senseless war.
But Boba was young and lonely, so he would often sneak out to see the other kids play-train and would yearn to join them. He could not understand fully the idea of them being different, as far as he was concerned those were potential friends.
If we are going with the fan favorite commander batches like Cody, Wolfee, Fox and Bly (with baby Rex attatched), they looked older than boba, but were his same age and were still kids.
So for a very young period of time, Boba would sneak away to play with this group of friends with no names that all looked like him and would enjoy hanging out with them, even if they looked older.
Eventually time passed by, and Boba realized his friends were growing up much faster than he was. At the age of 8 they were already adults, while he was still a little boy, and hanging out with them was no longer fun. Not only that but Jango would start to take him out on his hunts and begin his own training as a mandalorian bounty hunter, so he would distance himself from this group of childhood friends, never to see them again.
After the death of his father, Boba would develop a hatred and resentment towards other clones for sharing his father's face. And he would keep himself as far away from them as possible... but sometimes he remembers that group of nameless friends he used to have when he was very young and Wonders... what happened to them? Did they survived the war? or did they succumb to the endless battle? Would they remember him and recognize him if they saw him again? Most clone commanders are probably aware of who Boba Fett is and the things he has done, one including Ponds death, even if he was not the one who pulled the trigger. However I like to believe that Cody remembers Boba the most as a young boy that only wanted some friends to hang out while his dad was away. And often wondered what went so wrong with him, and how he and his batch mates could have helped him more...

You know when Fox has had a bad day.
Partly because Thire and Thorn and Stone, sometimes all of them, will shoot you a message giving you heads up. But also because you know Fox. And you know his moods.
So when you get a message just before you leave work for the day, a warning from Stone that Fox had a really bad day, you’re already planning on what you can do to make his evening better.
On your way home, you stop by his favorite restaurant and grab the food you ordered in advance, you pop into the florist and grab a bouquet of his favorite small purple flowers, and you dip into a bakery to buy a premade cake.
If you’d had more time, everything would have been individually ordered, but such is life you suppose.
You hurry home, and you’re not surprised when you step into the home you share with Fox and you hear the shower running. If the day was as bad as Stone implied, your Fox will want to wash the day off his skin before he sees you.
Your perfect man seems to think that if he touches you after a bad day, he’ll do nothing but hurt you. Which is silly, but if it helps him feel better than you’re not going to question it.
In any event, the fact that he’s distracted, means that you’re able to get the room ready. The flowers are put in a vase and set on the table. The curry is removed from the containers and placed on the fancy china that your mom gave you when you moved out of her house. The cake is put on a fancy platter and cut into slices. Two scented candles are lit and set a safe distance away from the flowers.
And then you dart into the bedroom and peel off your work clothes for something more comfortable.
And you managed to do so in less than five minutes.
You’re doing one last check of the kitchen, making sure that everything looks perfect, when the shower stops. You turn to the bedroom door and, only moments later, Fox steps out of the bedroom clad in his sleep pants and nothing else.
It takes everything in you to not swoon for him. He really is so handsome that you just want to cry.
“Cyare,” Fox’s voice is rough, “Welcome home.”
He looks exhausted, you note. You’re glad you prepared everything before he got out of the shower. Now he just has to enjoy it.
You walk over to him and slide your arms around his waist, “Stone sent me a message and said you had a rough day.” You stand on your toes and kiss him, “Did the shower help?”
“A little.” He leans his forehead against yours, “I meant to have dinner ready for you-”
You beam at him, “You’re so sweet!” You lightly pull back and take his hands with yours, “Luckily, I took care of it.” Gently, you tug him into the kitchen, and he pauses in the doorway.
You watch him scan the room. From the flowers and candles, to the food and the cake, and then he focuses his gaze on you, “What’s all of this, cyare?”
“Well, Stone said you had a rough day, so I thought I’d try to make it a little better. Do you like it?”
He’s quiet for a moment, and then he turns to look at you, “I’m not worth all of this. I didn’t do anything for-”
You reach up and press your fingers against his lips, gently interrupting him. “My love is not conditional, Fox. You don’t have to do anything to earn my love. You have it anyway.”
He stares at you, and you can’t help but hope that maybe, this time, he’ll believe you when you say that. Though you’ll repeat it as often as you need to.
Fox sighs and presses a kiss against the pads of your fingers. “I’m not worthy of you. You should be with someone brighter…like Cody.”
“It’s not a question of worth, Fox.” You kiss him gently and then kiss him again and again, “I love you. I choose you. It’s as simple as that.”
He’s quiet for a moment, and then he ducks his head and kisses you deeply, “I love you” He says against your lips, “Thank you for loving me enough to try and make my day better.”

I sometimes have Foxiyo ideas I haven't had time to get around to writing/drawing. Here is one:
In some AU where Palps bites the dust early, Fox becomes one of the most well-adjusted of all the commanders. He also starts dating.
Except, no one believes him.
Cody and gang arrive on Coruscant for shore leave after weeks of fighting and Fox is happy to show them around. But he can't tomorrow night because he's got a hot date with a senate coworker.
Yeah right Fox.
Whatever you say.
Months go by, the war drags on. Fox's command batch arrives again and they go for drinks but Fox has to split early because he promised his girlfriend he'd sleep more regular hours.
'Girlfriend'? Pfft. Someone is having delusion of grandeur.
Leave him alone guys, he's probably so bored being stuck out here he's having hallucinations.
Fox now officially hates his brothers. They are totally paying for their own drinks.
The war has ended! Clones are granted citizenship. Everyone gathers again for drinks and to discuss their future. Fox (hesitantly) declares he's going to ask his girlfriend to marry him.
Are you still on about that Fox?
He's really committed to this bit.
That's it. None of you bottleheads are invited to the wedding. >:(
A year goes by. During the anniversary reunion dinner, Fox is spotted carrying a smol blue baby.
Whose kid is that Fox?
Mine.
Seriously vod, you can't just go around kidnapping people's children.
It's MINE.
I think that's Senator Chuchi's kid.
Aww, you sweet on a senator, Fox?
Bite me and die, Bly.
Do you want us to ask if she's single?
NO.
Some time later, Fox is doing dishes with Riyo who glances at him with a sly look. Fox is SUSPICIOUS.
Your brother Bly just asked me if I was single. He said he was asking for a friend.
I do not see.
I told him no. He seemed quite devastated. 😏
Riyo...
Cody also told me that a certain former Commander of the Corrie Guard had an... admiration for me.
...
You have an 'admiration' for me, Fox? 😘
... Riyo we're married.
Still! ❤
Eventually, Fox encounters his brothers while he's out with Riyo. They are aghast.
You know she's a married woman right, Fox?
Fox... don't do this to yourself...
Fox ignores them. They grow more desperate. Riyo resolves everything by telling everyone they are married. People are mollified. But later...
Did you hear that Fox got involved with a married woman?
Yeah! And but then she dumped her husband to marry Fox!
No one understands why Thorn, upon hearing all this, bursts out laughing so hard he almost chokes himself. The former Corrie Guards all swear by this story and tell everyone that they are very happy Senator Chuchi made a honest man out of Fox and he'll be a good dad to her children.
What's this rubbish about stepfather? I'm their actual father!
Yeah! That's the spirit! You're their father, Fox!
Fox screams.

I don’t really have a set preference on who’s the oldest and youngest in the CC-batch in fics, but I do have my own order
Ponds: Oldest. Absolutely doesn’t want to be oldest because that means he has to be more responsible than everyone else. Please don’t put that on him. Please.
Wolffe: Second oldest. The one who ended up with the oldest daughter-syndrome. Takes his younger siblings to school and picks them up from there while playing either metal or Barbie Girl on full blast. Extremely adoptable. Plo Koon had those papers READY from the moment they met for the first time.
Cody: Third oldest. Counts himself to be one of the older siblings despite being the middle child. Appears very responsible and usually is, but then he starts doing weird shit out of nowhere. Gets together with an older man who looks like an English professor who part-times as a yoga teacher. Cody thinks that’s the hottest shit ever. He gets made fun of aggressively.
Bly: Second youngest. People think he’s the youngest sometimes, and he is offended every single time. Thinks he can get away from being made fun of from falling in love with his Jedi because at least his Jedi is young and cool. He does not. He has not been called by his actual name by his brothers in years now. One of them got into his discord account and changed his username to Simp-5052. Bly hasn’t been able to change it back. He has tried.
Fox: The youngest. The Baby. Tries to escape the Baby Jail every waking moment of his life. Thought he succeeded when Rex got adopted into the batch. He got set straight very quickly about his life-sentence still continuing. Thought he succeeded the second time when he became the Commander of the Guard. Then Plo Koon heard about him and showed up with more adoption papers and all of his vod’ike are now coddling him. Thought he succeeded the third time when he got married. All of his brothers wanted to give a speech at his wedding. The whole Galaxy now knows that he’s the baby. He wants to maim something.
Rex: The younger cousing who got adopted into the family. The youngest but not. Absolutely plays the little brother card when he needs it, but then the next moment says that he has never met these people in his entire life. The only truly responsible one of them all and he knows it.

Corrie Guard: Fox & Patches
@megneato did two more AMAZING commissions for me (the first was Ma Dong-Seok as Paz Vizsla, he’s beautiful, go look at him), which was to help get my headcanon down for what Fox looks like, and a design for my Corrie Medic OC, Patches! (I belatedly realized that is a common medic OC name. I am. Not sorry. ...or original.)
Tumblr media
CC 1010: FOX
tired
like, so fucking tired
Constantly Vibrating Ball of Rage
hair gone white from stress and torture via Evil Sith Shenanigans
lightning scars around his neck, continue below armor on the right side of his torso
no tattoos so that he could pass as some of the other clones (this works up until the scarring and the trauma hair)
Tumblr media
CT 9113: PATCHES
MASSIVE baby bro/vod’ika vibes, is from one of the more recent batches
very gentle and sweet and smiley
name comes from his patchwork scars, which were the result of being yeeted through a pane of glass (exact scenario as of yet undecided)
does actually have a kind bedside manner, but do not be fooled: he will also use the big sad eyes RUTHLESSLY
‘i’m not mad, just disappointed’ except instead of disappointed dad it’s your little brother who looks up to you and thinks the world of you and now you let him DOWN
that said, if he’s visibly angry, you should probably run.
