Little Sneak Peak (Unhinged Fox Fic)

Didn't get to write as much at work today as I wanted (still trucking the damn thing is at 3k with 40 min left, I think I can hit 4!) and wanted to share a snippet my brain just smacked into me unprepared like.

Marked in a see more for those who want to wait until I'm done!

“You have been calling me handsome since we met, mentioned it had nothing to do with my physical appearance, slipped my binders twice, and were otherwise very sneaky. Ergo, Jedi.” Fox carefully removed the armor on his forearms and his gloves, placing them next to his helmet, before walking back over to his new interest.

“But I don’t know who you are beyond that. I thought all Generals were deployed to the Front and given a battalion.” Fox circled the handsome Jetii, lightly batting aside the lovely locs and shivering at the bare touch of his hands against the Jedi’s nape, a brief feel of lips and the smell of spice permeating his senses as he did.

Pushing his fingers further into the feel of the warm skin gave him the treasure of hearing a slight moan from his captive and an image of said Jedi bare except for the tiniest pair of unders Fox has ever seen in his life.

I’m not going to tell you osik until you admit I’m right.” Fox crossed his arms and smiled slightly at the image of his kih’vode carefully passing around his armor to touch up the paint after his last jaunt into the dumpsters as his bare fingers brushed against the plate.

Idk I just had the thought for the most unhinged time travel au.

It's just the entire gang of Leia, Luke, Han, Din and Boba (yes because he's ba'vodu Boba okay-) and they get transported back to the clone wars.

They're like okay. First things first we need an inside man. Luke wants to go talk to the Jedi but then is like mmmh. that might cause some more problems if we just march in and expose our father. Leia doesn't care about Anakin but agrees otherwise.

She thinks about going to her parents, of course, they're royalty and pretty close to Palpatine at the time, but that would be too obvious as well.

Then she thinks of Fox. It's a risk, of course, but he could make a good ally to them, and be a bit less noticeable at first.

Okay, sure. Let's go and try to talk to him. Boba, you go. You're a clone, too, so you go. Din can go as back up.

Things go- not so good. Somehow they all end up in the middle of a whole fight alongside Fox, and Fox gets knocked out during it, and when the rest of the Corries come running in, they see two full-kitted Mando's standing with a bunch of bodies and very out-cold Fox and they are very ready to shoot live ammos.

So Boba and Din go alright time to get out of here, and just fly off, and manage to lose the Corries, and-

"....you took the Commander?"

"What? We did all of this to get him to talk to us in the first place"

"We are so dead"

So in short, they just end up kidnapping Fox by accident, and they have to continue kidnapping him because how the hell do you explain this anymore without absolutely everybody getting to know what is going on?

Hear me out for the Tim Rules Many Planets AU. After the batfamily finds out, which of them would either offer to take some off his plate (which he knows would end HORRIBLY) and which one is like, "OK but free vacation spot? Free vacation from my beloved brother who definitely loves me a lot? Free vacation??"

An entire planet just for the family to vacation without worrying about the press? Tim! You shouldn't have :)

Those planets are Tim's, and he'll bite any person that reaches their grimmy little paws towards his management program.

The only people Tim would let help him are Babara, Tam, and Mr. Fox. Unfortunately, all of them have too much on their own plates to provide much assistance (not that Tim needs any at this stage).

Dick would offer exactly once to help. The expression on Tim's face at that suggestion was so insulting that Dick never tried again.

Jason would visit the worlds without warning with the Outlaws and expect to be vacationing on Tim's dime.

Duke would bribe YJ to take him there. Because he's with YJ, he receives a warm welcome from the populace.

Steph would only go if Cass went. Cass would only go if Tim took her. After Cass asks him about it, they end up making an entire trip out of the experience.

Damian, who heard about the trip plans from Steph, gets dragged along with them. He does sneak Colin on board, though.

Tim actually offers to take Alfred (the only person he extends the invitation to). The butler politely declines.

Bruce visits as a part of official business with JL (though he volunteers to be the one to go). Considering the unhinged behavior Tim has displayed at people trying to help him, Bruce never approaches him about it. When the JL report indicates that the worlds are flourishing under Tim's reign, Bruce leaves the entire matter be.

tbh one of my headcanons is that aeron was aware of his sexuality earlier than davos so he did experience a bit more than him (whether he had good or bad experiences, or both, it's up to the reader) before meeting davos and it's aeron that sometimes guides davos towards what feels best for both of them.

Tell me, Marvel. Tell me why you have to do this.

Tell me why you have to take a character who will, next year, have 50 YEARS of character development and strip absolutely all of the nuance and complexity out of him and boil him down to LOL IRREDEEMABLE MASS MURDERER FOR FUNSIES.

Tell me why you had to derail a perfectly good plot with Sabretooth becoming a leader figure to the mutant exiles to instead, him and a bunch of AU variants coming to kill all the mutants on Krakoa for literally no reason.

We have been through this. SO MANY. Times before and I think this is the worst fucking one. At least you used to let this man have some kind of motivation.

And Sabretooth was NEVER nothing but a fucking irredeemable mass murder. No matter what that SHITHEAD CHARLES XAVIER had to say about it.

When Sabretooth first appeared he was written as a sassy, savage and smart international assassin and killer for hire.

Then we found out that he had brain damage from military programming. This man is literally a fucking disabled war veteran. 

And you know what?? The worst fucking retcon that Marvel ever pulled was years ago. When they started ignoring that Sabretooth DIDN'T kill Silver Fox. 

He didn't kill her!! He and Logan didn't even have a poisonous history until Project X used brainwashing to turn them against one another!

And after finding all that out, when started to become an unhinged killer with no motivation and no joy he SOUGHT HELP FOR THAT. He tried to fucking medicate himself because it was too much! and when the medication wasn't working he sought help from the X-Men and they locked him up and told him he was irredeemable.

And after that he got used as a fucking government slave again! They put him in a shock collar and they enslaved him as their own attack dog.

And when he broke out of that control??? He fucking went after Weapon X to fuck THEM over!!! And he went back to doing hired assassin shit. He's not just a fucking pointless monster who has no motivation and kills for no reason. He kills for money. He kills for fun sometimes. But that's not everything of who he is and I'm tired of him having everything stripped from him.

The Madripoor arc where he was a crime boss hanging out with Mystique and in charge of the dark hand, that shit was great! That's how you use Sabretooth as a villain! He killed Wolverine then!!! HE KILLED WOLVERINE.

And then later, AFTER everybody got zapped with the "morality reverse" after he changed back, Sabretooth still decided to give being a hero a try. And he was good at it!! He was an excellent "Anti-hero" somebody to hang around all the other light side paladin and remind them that killing their enemies is EASY.

We could have had that for years. We could still have that. That was only 2017.

But no. BUT NO.

You retcon the whole god damn universe take away literally all of his character development STICK HIM IN A HOLE FOR YEARS, then promise us maybe MAYBE we'll get Sabretooth and The Exiles.

AND NOW THIS.

There are good ways to use sabretooth as a villain and this shit ain't it.
