every time you go to an event you should lowkey hope it’s a dashcon tanacon fyrefest situation. getting scammed sucks but you’ll have an interesting story ready to go you might even be in a documentary or at least a video essay, nobody wants to hear about how you went to a normal event that delivered on the promise and was kinda cool

is more than one cherry blossom petal allowed to spawn on the map in acnh at once? or like, does the algorithm enforce a minimum time between their spawns? i swear i spent hours catching those cute little nuisances on a kapp'n island earlier just because they Weren't There most of the time (only the insubstantial decorative kind). p.s. pls only answer this ask if it would be fun >.<

I have no clue despite having played through the cherry blossom season myself. I had no issues finding them on Fyrefest, didn't need to go on a mystery tour at all. In fact I think I still have a bunch of cherry blossoms in storage.

Cursory look at the wikis shows no clear indication of frequency, though I figure maybe the amount of hardwood trees might influence things. I guess that'd make logical sense but I don't know if some random outlet like GameRant can be taken at their word. I have plenty hardwoods on Fyrefest so they might be right.

2017: Maya makes a journal entry about the disaster that is Fyrefest. Topaz invites Hope A. over for some de-stressing and drinking.

2018: Maya decides that, after the news article, she’s going to donate blood and join the anti protest protests. Clint lets the proto-eXcalibur know he’s holding a health and safety meeting and various mansion teens end up being offered up as minions. Meanwhile Angel and Kevin get together to talk food. Topaz emails Stephen informing him that he has been requisitioned as Darcy’s assistant. Kitty posts to let the mansion know she’s taking a short job offer in Chicago for a while. Bobbi and Sharon F.head to a diner for some comfort food, Bobbi notices how jumpy Sharon F.is and confronts her about it, finding it out it’s to do with her time in the army and the Iraqi super-soldier.

Bwaha today I found out that idiot who tried to put on Fyre Festival is out of jail now and doing talk show interviews talking about a NEW festival that is going to be a metaverse event (he keeps saying it’s not but I’m wondering if he understands what metaverse means) combined with a small real life event somewhere in the Bahamas (meanwhile the government there says they absolutely have not and will not approve any event organized by him and will arrest him if he travels there). There really are no consequences for the rich, are there. Even after four years in prison and an order to pay 26 mil, this chucklefuck is walking around like “aw whoopsies I’m so sorry that I messed up guys, next time I’ll totes get it right I promise!”
