The picnic scene was a two person set up. My relative and a door held up the blanket "sky." Everything but the blanket is official MLP merch. The ceiling light was too yellow, so the lighting is entirely flashlights.

I picked Kimono (riversidelanterns) to respond to Minty (greensocks) because her home is comically yet realistically far for a kite to drift.

Minty famously loves green and socks. Her text is green because she wrote with green in A Charming Birthday.

Cloud Climber's (climbingclouds) tag references her 3D cutie mark and backcard. She "likes to soar so high in the sky, she can even jump over a rainbow!"

Silly Lilly (sillybillylilly) is the only Breezie mentioned.

Star Swirl (starswirling) and Dream Blue (azure-dreams) have cute, contrasting backcards. Star Swirl stays up late to watch stars, while Dream Blue likes to journal her dreams. (I headcanon them as friends.)

Storybelle and Gossomer run ponyville-library.

Brights Brightly (sunrise-racer) is named for her cutie mark and backcard. She likes racing around the mountains in her carriage.

Cheerilee the unicorn (stylingviolet) is named for her Styling Pony release.

The photo for cotton-candy-cafe is also official merch. It's the Ponyville Sweet Shoppe with G3 & G4 accessories.

Rarity (justhavingfun) definitely used the Crystal Rainbow Carriage to rush over for rainbowberry desserts. Her name is from her song "I Just Wanna Have Fun" in The Runaway Rainbow.

Royal Bouquet's (royal-writes) name references her backcard. She likes writing in her journal.

Pinkie Pie (i-think-in-pink) is named for her Pinkie Squinks.

Razzaroo (razzledazzle) will use the pen from Summer Berry (berry-fun) to write in her Ponyville Surprise Birthday Book.

You're so mature and seems to be really calm and centered, so I want to ask, how to deal with criticism / hate towards your favorite shows / actors in fandom spaces? I'm all new to BL fandom so it has been hard to navigate. I feel the urge to defend them but at the same time I understand that everyone's preferences are different and some criticisms are valid. Even how they feel about it is valid too and if I come in and be like "actually 🤓", it would be weird. I know ideally, we should let each others be but I still feel sad a bit. Like the other day, I watched the Suntiny trailer and although it's not my type and I probably won't watch it, it still looks interesting and new to the genre. I came to the tag on Tumblr and the first thing I saw is someone said they regretted having eyes? Idk, I would appreciate some advices on how to deal with this on my own (because it's probably a me problem). Thank you 🥺

I had this mutual I ended up kind of stuck with who was just so relentlessly negative.

Like, she'd create side blogs to pick fights (I'm fairly sure with HERSELF to make herself feel important) and be like "Everyone defend me, they said my favorite actor's hair looked bad in this picture!"

And just, like, that was a 45 year old woman. Acting like a 6 year old.

You're not getting any awards for defending anything. No one gives you a sticker, nothing is monetized, nothing seriously matters. Tumblr is beyond the age where actors might have profiles even.

So because of that experience with that person, I took a relentlessly positive approach. I like what I like. If I don't like something, I don't reblog it. If I see a take that is a "Hell no", I don't engage with it. If I get an ask about headcanons I don't agree with, I'll politely disagree if I feel like it, but always let people think of things the way they want to.

If someone spreads hate in a tag, I block them. Tags are fun spaces for people to enjoy stuff, don't fill it with garbage. If I don't like something or have a take I think fans of that thing wouldn't like, I either don't post at all or don't tag the fandom.

Your best friend is the block button, your 2nd best friend is the "Delete" button on asks if they're spreading negativity (like shitting on actors or shows or whatnot).

The key to having the best experience on tumblr imaginable is to be the kind of blog you'd want to follow. Blog for yourself, and do it so that YOU have fun and YOU are enjoying things. If people don't agree with how you're doing you, they can block you just as easily as you can block them.

It isn't worth getting the heartrate up, just have fun with it, and you'll naturally find yourself attracting like-minded people. Nerd calls to nerd. Seriously, just be the blog you'd love to follow, and everything is good!

People respond HARD to just having fun, having interesting chats, enjoying things and yet also respectfully setting aside things or takes you don't agree with. Tumblr genuinely does respond the strongest to just being nice and having fun.

The Gods are ever fickle, and when they need a new Avatar, they go for the best. Choosing someone to be the Avatar of Thor, Son of Odin, is a great honour and Thor believed he deserved an Immortal, indestructible body this time. Looks like Logan doesn't mind, or is too caught up in being Thor to mind.

Bringing out a funny question for the asks that I know already exists in some form. What is the worst thing Balthazar does in their story?

God. What a question when he’s done So Much Shit that the one big list I have isn’t even comprehensive. I think in terms of scale of impact it might be blowing off Jamandi’s summons for the sake of personal relationship drama. That’s not a very interesting or funny answer but also HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE DIED. And it truly does come from such a lack of concern for the lives of others- he’s not particularly fond of Jamandi and feels she demands more than she returns, so in his eyes her life and the lives of every other person on that plain just don’t matter very much. In a petty way, he’d like for her to suffer crippling losses and get off his back. The faceless masses of Rostland who absorb the brunt of that are just numbers to him. And more importantly, how could Jamandi and the threat that is currently firmly a Her Problem be considered in the same breath as Tristian at all?

In terms of smaller scale things… being pretty willing to help Jaethal do Basically Anything isn’t really great when that culminates in super murdering Nortellara, and also having endorsed her holding that unlucky Nortellara look alike against her will all fucking game prior. That’s not awesome. That doesn’t speak well of someone. I know that on my romance run there was a feeble last minute “wait maybe we shouldn’t murder your daughter for…. reasons” that she rejected (still a funny move of hers) but that’s not canon to me. The canon of my heart is very much Balthazar having been All In on killing Nortellara and being upset that Jaethal might be willing to consider backing down because he was at the time trying very hard not to think about if maybe he had an important relationship of his own to mend. Murder your daughter so I don’t have to think about the consequences of my own actions Jaethal :/
