something i just realized about the “you were my robin” / “we were the best” little moments between dick and damian is that damian’s already fourteen by this point, it’s been so long since they had their batman-and-robin dynamic, but it was still such an important time in their lives!!! they keep bringing it up and i love it!!

wait okay so i’m sure people have discussed this already but i was rewatching across the spiderverse and they point out that miles stopped a canon event in pavitr’s dimension (saving inspector singh), BUT i realized that pavitr was ALSO stopping a canon event at the same time — saving gayatri from falling

obviously we’ve already discussed the idea that spot was the one that caused pavitr’s dimension to glitch, not miles saving inspector singh, but it’s also very coincidental that both miles and pavitr stop a canon event simultaneously and gwen’s watch only says “canon event disrupted,” without specifying which one

i know this old news by now, but the fact that this issue could’ve been so cool if they actually took all the batkids’ strengths seriously and hadn’t taken out the two most op bats out in one punch — they really missed out on some amazing fight scenes

okay i like this page bc it reminds me of the mischaracterization of jason todd. people like to think he’s act first, think later, but that’s cass. she has no problem beating the answers out of people, bc she can’t read and do all this planning and researching beforehand like bruce and jason do. she watches trashy news because it’s one of the only sources she can use for current information !

jason is methodological. he makes sure every detail is in place before heading out, and has multiple backup schemes prepared in case things go sideways. but in more recent comics, jason’s seen as the guy who can’t wait to go out and bash some skulls. if you want that type of character, we have it already and that’s cass.
