Spending 20 minutes wrestling a 3 foot ball python because it looked like his mouth was full of blood, he was a total monster about it (he was actually very well behaved, just uncooperative) and it was dirt. He had a mouthful of dirt.

Ghost is here! (Sorry for the blurry photos, he was super curious and didn't want to stop moving LOL. I'll get better ones soon!) I am borrowing him from a friend of mine to breed to Leliana to get a clutch of all BELs! I'm giving him time to settle in and eat, and then they'll be paired :) Normally a new snake would go through the 3 month quarantine, however since he's from a friend I know his health, setup, etc and she's had him for a while as well, he will only get about a 2 week quarantine to give him some settle time. He won't go in with her until he eats a couple times and settles in, but when he does go in, wish him luck! This will be his first time breeding.

Day 4: The Sunset Sinnamon Python!

This is one of the morphs we're most excited to announce! The Sunset Sinnamon python is perfect for all of your subtly spooky needs! Alongside being a less expensive alternative than its parent morph, this line of pythons is also perfect for those of you wanting a nice pet that looks completely normal! At first glance, anyway...

And yes, there are some minor reports this particular morph is of a more... devious nature, but worry not! It's just a sweet little sinnamon roll! I mean- cinnamon roll!

Laid face down spread eagle on the floor and fell asleep only to be woken up. When Simon accidentally kicked him and fell face first.

SEBASTIAN SALLOW: This boy is a snake. Full body wrapped around MC like a python. He won't let go easily, either. But he's warm and gives many kisses, so the entrapment is worth it.

OMINIS GAUNT: Physical touch has rarely led to good things in his life so MC will need to be patient with him. Once their relationship is to the point that he feels safe with them, he cuddles with his hands constantly mapping their body. He will have every part of them committed to memory.

ANNE SALLOW: She likes laying on top of them with her face on their chest. She finds their heartbeat soothing. She also likes hearing it speed up when she's feeling cheeky.

IMELDA REYES: Physical touch isn't one of her love languages, so she doesn't go out of her way to cuddle them. She doesn't reject it, She finds MC's affection cute, but she'll be reading or messing with her wand while she lays there with MC attached.

NATSAI ONAI: She is the big spoon. She must protecc. She whispers all sorts of sweet nothing's while she's holding them and gives little neck kisses.

GARRETH WEASLEY: Cuddling him is dangerous because MC never knows what he'll do. This goof can't help but make MC laugh. He loves hearing it. He'll boop their nose, lick their face, even tickle them for a reaction.

LEANDER PREWETT: Long boi with long limbs. MC is tangled in him with little hope of getting away. He has quite the wingspan, so even if MC is on the other side of the bed, he can just casually reach over and yoink them to his side.

AMIT THAKKAR: Hope MC likes his voice, cause he's a talker. MC is his captive audience and he will go on and on and ON about just about anything. Mostly astronomical topics, but he goes off on tangents.

EVERETT CLOPTON: He's the little spoon. Doesn't matter how tall MC is compared to him. They could be the longest mfer or just a little backpack, he loves them either way. He feels held.

POPPY SWEETING: Smol. Turns into a ball like a little hedgehog. Might get lost in the cushions or blankets, so hold tight. Also a bit of a squirmer, sometimes struggles to get comfortable. She'll settle down eventually.

ABRAHAM RONEN: Favorite Uncle vibes. Playful bear hugs that crush ribs and pick MC up off their feet. Best hugs for when MC needs a laugh.

MIRABEL GARLICK: Very much a hugger. MC can hold her as long as they need to. Let all their worries and stress melt away in her genuine embrace.

MUDIWA ONAI: She gives the best Mom hugs MC could ever experience. She'll go so far as to hug MC in her lap and rock them like a child, even if MC is tall.

BAI HOWIN: If MC needs affection, she suggests they seek out mooncalves or puffskiens.

DINAH HECAT: She is more affectionate than she lets on. If MC is stressed and needs a hug, she offers one without prompting.

What animals do horangi, wrong, and the McTavish family have?

Maybe it's just my own love of horses, but the mctavish' seems like they would own horses and it causes anxiety in ghost

Hong-Jin famously has a pet snake. She’s a five foot ball python he’s had since she was a hatchling. The only person in his family that doesn’t like her or doesn’t know how to handle her is his sister. The snake’s enclosure is Hong-Jin’s whole closet which he modified for her. Her name is Aein and when Simon learned about her existence he immediately declared he would never step foot in Hong-Jin’s house. That doesn’t stop Hong-Jin from showing every pictures of Aein just existing. Though the one where she’s wearing a top hat and a homemade tube ‘sweater’ was actually funny.

The MacTavishes have always had exotic pets. Rabbits, ferrets, not so common fish. Johnny’s cousins actually do live at a farm outside of town so he has been around horses and goats. Johnny’s favorite childhood pet was a rabbit named Munchkin. He adored him and always visited the rabbit enclosure kept at the back of the garden. Unfortunately Munchkin was killed by a stray dog that got in the garden, leaving poor Johnny scarred and terrified of dogs. After learning about Simon getting a puppy, he’s desperately been trying to get over his fear of dogs.

Rudy did have a high dollar designer dog named Alma before he ran away and got emancipated as soon as he turned sixteen. He hasn’t had any pets since considering the group home he’s been living in is very strict on having any (for allergies and safety reasons). He very much loves Riley and hogs his attention whenever he and Alejandro go to visit Simon at his house. Alejandro himself doesn’t have any pets and doesn’t have any particular feelings on any he would get if he wanted one (a raccoon, he wants a raccoon but his dad said no).

Day 12: A lil Ghost Snake!

Just a lil ghost snake! I have to preface right off the bat that yes, you do still have to feed it. Not often, but keep up with its schedule. And yes, this morph is capable of phasing through untreated matter so make sure that your tank has glass reinforced with some sort of metal alloy. Other than that, this one's just a sweet lil dude. Enjoy!

Oh, and don't worry, it can't possess objects or living beings. Not, like, fully anyway.

im Cuban Puerto Rican, i speak both my mother tongue and English. kinda trying to get myself to learn German though. im a bit of an ambivert, i mostly enjoy spending time with those i know well.

im 5’2, i have a huge scar in my left leg due to an accident i had when i was younger. i have brown, nearly black eyes and i use glasses. i have a mole near my collarbone and another one just above. my hair is brown and medium sized with some side-tails.

currently studying with a forensic sciences major, a bit of a nerd.. i enjoy drawing, reading Sci-Fi and spending time with my pet snakes. (their ball pythons, they are super adorable…) i absolutely love heavy metal bands like Rammstein, korn, Slipknot, i listen to Type O Negative, Slaughter to Prevail from time to time aswell alongside jazz. i dress in a bit of a grunge way, it varies since i enjoy fashion a lot.

i enjoy watching true crimes series (Forensic Files being an all time favorite), watching Caso Cerrado, and documentaries regarding military history. i love the rainy weather and from time to time going to the beach. truly calming, really.

And because you were so good, you would also become a threat to any criminal facing charges for murder, etc.

One of such being Makarov and the Konni group

TF 141 got word that Makarov killed their spy that was sending feedback and intel

You were unfortunately the one looking over the said body of 141's spy; the FBI and CIA wanted to know exactly who done it

As Ghost continued to have constant vigil over you in the shadows, he didn't like the idea of seeing you make your way home alone

He finally decided to start blending in with people, and sometimes walking your way

It's just for the mission, he'd tell himself

At first, seeing his appearance was a little scary, intimidating

But you didn't sense no ill will coming from him, at least not toward you

You initiated conversations with him, and little by little he was talking more than just a word or a sentence

Over time he got to know you pretty well, as much as you allowed

He noticed how open you were to him, letting him know that you trusted him

You were just full of surprises;

One thing after another he learned so much about you besides what was in your personal records

He started to see you as you, not just another nameless target to protect

Quick update on all my permanent critters!

-Niobe (ball python) has been a lot more active now that it's summer!

-Ricearoni (western hognose) has also been more active. I need to grab more prey for him because I am out of fuzzies small enough for him.

-Lucky (leopard gecko) is the same as always, the perfect little lizard

-I haven't seen Babs (house gecko) in a bit but its normal for me to go weeks without a sighting bc he is so small and elusive, but food is disappearing

-Juno (day gecko) is settling in to his upgraded enclosure pretty well. I still need more branches for it though.

-Freak and Mango (axolotls) are doing really well! They are due for a feeding today or tomorrow

-Ducky (fire belly toad) is doing well, I am eager to get him upgraded but I need to figure out where I'm going to put it. It is a "nice to have" upgrade, not a needed one, so not urgent. but still.

-Garcia (dwarf hamster) is such a ghost hamster but I dig her up in the evening once or twice a week just to check on her and she handles it well. She is so cute and loves to burrow, I am glad she finally is able to. The crittertrail she came from had barely any bedding.

-Doc (rat) is the cutest ratty everrrrrr he has been doing a LOT of rearranging his cage lately. Sadly he is still terrified of other rats.

-My mice are doing well, Moo still loves his ladies and the girls (Teacup, Frog, and Nyx) are doing better than I expected considering their age. Teacup and Frog are 2.5 and Nyx is almost 2, so they will likely pass of old age soon but for now they are happy and healthy. Moo has a new colony lined up with a good friend once his ladies pass.

-Cobalt and Gallium (gerbils) are in a split tank for bonding and it's going okay. Cobalt has been really depressed since Neon passed and I am honestly not sure what is going to happen. He hasn't been eating much. I am hoping that seeing Gallium will help him find a will to live. He was so closely bonded with Neon and really hates being alone. It's only been about a day with Gallium so we will see.

-Taco and Blaze (gpigs) are perfect piggy boys! They are middle aged and Taco is closing in on 5 but they are in perfect health and love running around and begging for food.

-Daisy, Dahlia, and Daffodil (gpigs) are also perfect piggies. Dahlia's calcified bulla syndrome has been pretty stable.

-The degus are doing well! They have well checks at the end of the month bc the 4 older boys just turned 7. I don't have any concerns, but just want to check if they have arthritis or anything to keep an eye on.

-I have 7 girls in my female rat colony right now: Poundcake, Fall Out Boy, Crumbcake, Gon, Leorio, Berry, and PomPom. Poundcake has developed another mammary growth and she isn't looking too good. She is still happy overall, but definitely quieter and having a harder time. PomPom got picked on but I don't know by who and everyone is acting okay now, so I am just keeping an eye on her bite- it is healing really well and not very deep so maybe she just startled another girl or tried to steal a treat? If I see any more wounds she will need to be separated, which I would really prefer not to do but if I have to I will ofc

-Zushi, Killua, and Kurapika (rats) are sooo the funny rat boys. They are getting HUGE! I can't believe they are 5 months old already.

Today seemed like any other day in the town square of Willowside. Townspeople milled about the shops, buying whatever foodstuffs and supplies the merchants had to sell.

Suddenly, calliope music started playing from one of the side streets. People turning to look saw a parade approaching the town square. At the forefront marched Midori, a kitsune woman with a red fox fur pattern and red hair, dressed in a green circus ringmaster's outfit complete with a green top hat. She carried a short staff resembling a stick of multicolored candy with a head resembling a snake's which she shifted up and down with the beat of the music, keeping the constituents of her parade in step.

Once the ringmaster stepped into the center of the town square, she gestured dismissively with her free hand and the entire parade faded into a green mist, leaving only Midori standing there as the calliope music continued.

She spoke with a magically amplified,  booming voice, reaching all in that part of town as if she were standing next to them.

"ANNNNNNND NOW, because we sailed all the way from Kerrick and we aim to entertain, we proudly announce tonight's performance of the only island-hoppin', xulgath-defeatin', carnivorous-plant-mulchin', demon-slayin', dinosaur-extinctin', ghost-bustin', aeon-stone-repairin', extinction-curse-liftin' circus in the Inner Sea, including THEEE VERRRY HEROESSS who brought Mistress Dusklight of the Celestial Menagerie to justice and freed those under her control: the CIRCUS OF WAYWARD WONNNNNNNDERRRRRS!"

Midori began to twirl her staff faster and faster in front of herself, finally tossing it high into the air and catching it deftly in her hands before it could hit the ground. She thrust the base of the staff into the ground, magically transforming it into a candy-striped ball python that started dancing to the music which began building dramatically as Midori prepared to sing.

Once the music had stopped, a few people in the square clapped politely. Midori took an over-exaggerated bow, picked up her snake, changed it back into a staff, and then meandered through the town square to sell tickets.

Surveying the crowds for potential buyers, Midori's attention caught on the brightly colored tail of...well, Midori wasn't quite sure. She—Midori initially thought the being was a "she," but rethought "perhaps 'they,' because it's better not to assume with an unknown being"—they certainly did not appear to be a local. Definitely, a sentient person of some sort as their eyes—all four—had a look of intelligence about them as they glanced about the town. They wore a humanoid-style top on their humanoid torso but had a snake-like tail similar to a nagaji's or lamia's. They also had horns, which were not unknown in the various forms of nagaji found across Golarion.

Midori sauntered over to the being to strike up a conversation. "Why hello, my good being! Not to be rude, not to make assumptions about you, but you appear to be from out of town. May I ask from where do you haii?" Midori's eyes widened as a grin crossed her face. "Are you in town for the circus? Have you heard about us in your homeland?"

Oooh! Snoots! An Animal Shelter AU!

It honestly could go hard

Not that they keep track, but Gaz is out here doing the most adoptions. He's just so good at matching dogs and cats to people. He's so good at sweet talking the stubborn old ladies and the cranky "know it alls". He is so good with people but also still really good with the animals. Organized, efficient, takes excellent photos of the available dogs. Fosters cats, old, kitten, sick, all of them.

Soap is an Animal Services officer (animal control basically, i don't remember the differences). He's like everyone's favorite ASO. He's so good with the animals, he's good with the people, good with everything. Loves to foster some of the hospice dogs. Has a background in animal behavior. Definitely took home at least 3 snakes that got confiscated from a big bust. One of them is an albino Burmese python and the other two are the cutest ball pythons

Ghost is basically the behavior team at this point. He's so good with the animals, it's insane. He's the go to for everyone to ask to handle the behavior dogs (ones that are just very reactive, very scared, etc) especially the big dogs. Walks all the bite quarantine dogs. Helps the clinic with handling dogs for procedures and exams. Not well known that he's married to Soap. Is the guy people ask about when rats, ferrets, or any other odd creature like that comes in cause it's so rare. (This excludes rabbits and any like livestock/farm animal. I'm talking most rodents and reptiles). Tatted and pierced up on gah

Price is the one manager that is holding the place together. If anything happens to him, it's gonna be fucking chaos. He's the one everyone asks questions to, he's the one ordering supplies and shit. He's making sure everyone's doing their job, making sure the animals are healthy and taken care of. Offers to help with volunteer groups cause he knows those can be overwhelming for the one or two staff members in the volunteer department. Actually makes sure things get fixed, even if he ends up paying a bit out of pocket. Always uses the excuse "nothings too good for the animals". Hates doing the news segments though. Can't pay him enough for those.
