MCR5 timeline analysis -
This is 100% based on my theory on MCR wanting to drop MCR5 and have it nominated for a Grammy. Why do I think this? This is possibly their last album and they want to go out with a bang. The only Grammy nomination they have received was for Black Parade, which they are playing front to back during WWWYF. SO they are just coming off the buzz of their SWARM tour, with almost a full year of hiatus the first news we have heard is headlining WWWYF which is happening October 2024. Here on Tumblr we have all speculated when the next single or the album will drop, but for my Grammy nomination the best time to release an album has been debated. Some say September, some say the summer (mostly July from what I see).
Looking at this year's nominees for best rock albums and when they were released:
But Here We Are, Foo Fighters - June 2023
Starcatcher, Greta Van Fleet - July 2023
72 Seasons, Metallica - April 2023
This Is Why, Paramore - February 2023
In Times New Roman…, Queens Of The Stone Age - June 2023
There is a pretty big difference in when these were released, but it all falls within the second and third quarter of the year (except for Paramore).
If we look at the past 4 winners of best rock album Grammy we have the following:
Patient Number 9, Ozzy Osbourne - February
Medicine at Midnight, Foo Fighters - February
The New Abnormal, The Strokes - April
Social Cues, Cage the Elephant - April
SO if Paramore wins that will be the third album dropped in February that won in the past 3 years, which is quarter 1 of the year. With all of this, the best chances of MCR having a strategy around releasing their album to get the most Grammy attention, MY personal educated guess would be either later Q1 of 2024 OR early to late Q2. So looking for Late February to early June. If this is true there is a good chance of a tour leading up to or including WWWYF.
Thank you for reading all of this for all who did. Please let me know thoughts, comments, or concerns.

It is very interesting to me that Even in Arcadia's (the title track and the album, I think) flower seems to be Blackthorn.
Blackthorn has a long, long history in folklore, often associated with witchcraft and magic. It's known as "Mother of the Woods," or "Dark Crone of the Woods," apparently, and was said to have been used for wands and staffs. In the tale of Sleeping Beauty, it's Blackthorn that the prince must fight through. It's also one of those flowers that poets describe their loves like; eyes as dark as a sloe, skin as pale as the flower.
I can see the immediate connection to Sleep Token with magic. Sleep Token's stringent lore seems to often imply a level of magical interference. It would make sense, also, with the teasers put out featuring knights and fantastical creatures, that there would also be witches. It's all looking very Arthurian. I wonder if Morgan le Fay will make an appearance. The love poetry and romantic fairy tales also make sense. Vessel's lyrics are often romantic in nature, even if that romance is tainted by toxicity and pain. He often draws on similar metaphors to old love poetry, too. Dark eyes, red lips, promises of bodily devotion and dedication. Also; "Mother of the Woods," God Mother? Stringent connection, but it's there.
Blackthorn often flowers during cold weather, a phenomenon that occurs after a "false spring," i.e., when winter seems to end but restarts a short time later. This period of cold weather has been called "Black Thorn Winter" by locals.
So whilst it's not unheard of for flowers to bud in cold weather, it's certainly not usual until spring really gets going. Blackthorn, to me, represents survival; it represents enduring winter, literal and proverbial. Vessel's moving from one season to another with Even In Arcadia. Winter to Spring. Blackthorn, with its false springs and Black Thorn Winters and stalwart endurance, is a flower that takes us from winter to spring. Even In Arcadia is following this very same transition.
Its wood is hardy and tough, and grows fast. Its a survivor of a plant and is often used for hedgerows— you cannot drive anywhere in England without seeing it somewhere on the motorway or in a country lane. Its fruit, the sloe, is said to be good for cleansing the blood. The pulp of the fruit's flesh can apparently stick your tongue to the roof of your mouth and your lips together (according to William Cobbett of 150 years ago)! It can also be used to make tonics for digestion and rheumatism.
Again, themes of survival and endurance. It's a very versatile wood, with plenty of uses besides looking absolutely gorgeous (no bias here). With EIA, we're seeing a Vessel who wants to survive, to endure, to emerge, to push past the Winters and False Springs to finally grow into Spring itself. The stark contrast between the hardy, tough purple-black bark and the delicate, snowy white flowers, especially in early spring when there's no leaves budding, also seems to feed into Sleep Token's themes of contrasting pairings. White roses, black doves, anyone? But, I think with EIA and the whole divide between HV and FH, we're actually being steered in the direction of not seeing these contrasted pairs as in competition but in symbiosis. Without the wood, there would be no flower, without the flower, there would be no wood, despite their apparent differences. Sloes being used to cleanse the blood is an interesting one. Sleep Token often references blood as a holy force, as food, as a sexual symbol, as a symbol of pain and torment and trauma. So, cleansing the blood could represent cleaning away (Infinite Baths) the past, the hurt, in order to start again (fruit giving way to rot to make way for new flowers again the following year). Its properties as a healing plant also point to concepts regarding new growth and healing from past illnesses and wounds.
My flower language book provides the following meanings for blackthorn: crone, stabilises emotions, stimulating, hope, joy, dark arts.
Hope and joy!!! Hope and joy everyone!!! I really think (and this is only a theory, a big big "if," so to speak) that EIA is going to be about enduring hardship and finding hope and joy despite the pain, despite past hurt. The final song is Infinite Baths, mysterious as the title is, it's blatantly also about cleansing, starting anew. Blackthorn is a spring flower— it heralds the season of growth and newness.
Bonus:
The hawthorn, which flowers after its leaves have budded (opposite to a blackthorn, which flowers then buds leaves) has a scent that is the exact same chemical as the one released first when animal tissue decays— trimethylamine. I found that out on a guided tree walk, and my first thought was "Vessel would so use that in a song."
The use of natural imagery in EIA's artwork really emphasises the idea of cycles that we're seeing over and over. Nature is inherently cyclical, and we see it in flowering plants the most. Flower, leaf, fruit, rot. Flower, leaf, fruit, rot. Over and over until the plant dies. And it's not negative, it's sustainable. Regenerative. It's growth.
Even in Arcadia may be an album of growth. Of regeneration after the rot.
#sleep token#sleep token analysis#ramblings & musings#reveries of my mind#also fun fact: I used to think 'sloe gin' was 'slow gin'#and that the process of making it was slow. not that it was made out of sloes lmao#blackthorn is one of my favourite flowers#also Vessel I am going to shake you in utter glee thank you so much for including flower imagery again#now I can potentially get a whole bouquet tattoo#(was planning on just using the blossom from One)(pretty sure it's apple blossom and I had an apple tree outside my home)#there's definitely more to analyse here but I've done all I can!

I don't know I just think Chuuya and Atsushi would be so cute!!! I've said it before but I'm under the belief/headcanon that Chuuya is actually a really chill guy that simply happens to work in the mafia, he's my favorite PM character because he just seems so reasonable. Obviously a number of the other members have fleshed out backgrounds and personalities, but I personally feel like a lot of them still boil down to them being bad guys. Yes Akutagawa has his reasons and tragic backstory, yes Mori has a background not necessarily rooted in evil, but at the end of the day they're both antagonists and I don't feel like that's a crazy take to have. But Chuuya has never felt like a villain to me LMAO I'm probably interpreting his character so wrong but to me he always seemed like a cool guy that works in the mafia. He's not evil it's just where he works. Like you don't have to be a golfer to work at TopGolf it's just the situation you have been placed in. Chuuya "don't kill kids" Nakahara. He knows when things go too far, he still recognizes and respects the border between work violence and senseless violence. Has a strong moral compass that points at perfectly valid ideals I feel.
Anyway this was literally supposed to be a Chuuatsu post what. In turn, Atsushi is one of the most normal people at the agency, at least in some aspects. Call it sheltered innocence even. But I think he can easily see past Chuuya's port mafia executive status, I feel like I can see whatever the hell I think I'm seeing in him. And Atsushi really likes that about him. That he can bump into Chuuya outside of work and he's simply. a pretty chill guy. Has a bit of a temper, but whatever buttons cause it to flare, Atsushi hasn't managed to hit one yet.
And Chuuya's all "When they put that 7 billion yen bounty for a man-eating tiger, I thought it'd be some intimidating feral creature, but I just watched you cross the street and look both ways the entire walk across. You're just a nice kid."
They like find a reprieve in one another. Everyone around them seems crazy but they can step aside and know that at least there's SOMEONE in this city not out of their damn mind.
#kennacanthink#for the record I think Gin is the same way#she's not evil she's just an assassin that's just her job#bsd#bungou stray dogs#chuuya nakahara#bsd chuuya#bsd atsushi#atsushi nakajima#chuuatsu#absolutely incoherent rambling post#me in rarepair hell#bsd rarepair

I have a community pending for a group of people genuinely looking forward to Blue Lock Season Two. Please like if you want an invitation as soon as it's fully up. I won't be accepting people who are just there to make fun of the animation or who aren't willing to give it a go. If you diss it without justification or just say it's outright terrible, I'll throw you out. It's my home, after all. Criticism is FINE, but watching it for the sake of dissing it is not. We're here to have some fun.

request: gin, rangiku and izuri. gin lives and has to face the music
I had never really written for Gin or Rangiku before and as soon as I saw this request I knew that was a crime because I was like holy shit... that's gonna be really fun. Anyways! Absolutely! Here are 3K words of Gin lives and gets chewed the fuck out by Rangiku and Izuru
Ao3 link here!
Rangiku had refused to leave Gin’s side from the moment the battle ended.
Even when everyone else tried convincing her to leave him, to see to her own wounds, to get some genuine rest, to eat something, to do anything other than linger beside a traitor, she refused.
She refused to move until she knew he was going to be okay.
Until she knew she was going to get some fucking answers.
Everything everyone thought they knew about Gin was a lie. She’d felt that way from the moment Gin betrayed Soul Society for Aizen, but the feeling had only grown deeper from the moment Gin turned on Aizen.
Why?
Why had Gin done a single thing he ever had?
How could she leave his side until she knew the answer to that question? How could she ever know peace? If he died leaving her alone with these questions, she—she—
Well, she wasn’t sure what she would do because Gin wouldn’t be here so she couldn’t exactly threaten him.
He would survive. Unohana herself had confirmed that after treating him. She had not seemed thrilled by the prospect of treating him nor his survival, but Rangiku could not find it in herself to care. She knew things would likely not go well for Gin once he regained consciousness. Soul Society was still struggling to get back on its feet after everything that had happened in the past year, but Gin was not going to slip through the cracks in the foundation.
He’d had a hand in creating too many of those cracks.
They could figure that out later though. Even if he ended up in prison, it wouldn’t go so far as Muken. She could visit him. Of course she could. They could…
They could what…?
Well, it didn’t matter. None of it mattered until they had a conversation that couldn’t be interrupted. Not until Rangiku got the answers that she deserved.
So she lingered by his bedside, watching him, being closer to him than she ever thought she would be again. Sometimes she swore she could still feel his fingers around her wrist, that he still gripped her there like he did the day he betrayed her.
But there was nothing.
For so long, Gin had been gone, and now, he was a lifeless body in an infirmary bed surrounded by kido.
Shoji slid open, and Rangiku glanced out of the corner of her eye. There were only a few people who would bother to come check on her, on either of them, at such a late hour. Either it was Hitsugaya coming to try and convince her to go home and get some actual rest in an actual bed, or it was Izuru.
The only other person who gave a damn if Gin lived or died right now.
The quick glance revealed it to be Izuru, and she sighed, letting her shoulders droop. At least it was easier with him than anyone else. At least she didn’t have to try and explain why she still cared so deeply, why she didn’t hate Gin.
Even if he had turned on Aizen, it had been far too little, far too late for nearly every other Shinigami. She supposed she couldn’t really blame them, but at a certain point, she did get tired of attempting to explain herself. Why was it anyone else’s business anyway? Why did she have to share her past just because Gin had gone and done all this stupid fucking bullshit and never once explained himself!
“You look angry,” Izuru commented as he sat down next to her.
“He pissed me off,” Rangiku muttered with a harsh glare towards Gin.
Izuru sighed, crossed his legs, propped his elbow on one, and rested his chin on his fist. “Yeah. He does that. He wake up any today?”
“Nope,” Rangiku answered, popping the p. “If he did, I think all of the Sereitei would have heard me.”
She expected at least a huff of laughter, but Izuru offered her nothing. Damn.
“Tough crowd,” she said. “What’s for dinner?”
“I’m not going to keep bringing you food. When was the last time you left for anything? You need a shower,” Izuru said.
“Rude.” Rangiku turned her nose up. “You know, this is why no women are ever interested in you. You go around telling them that they stink.”
“Well you do and your hair is greasy.” He held out a bento box. “Don’t get excited, it’s just plain rice because that’s all I felt like scraping together.”
Rangiku groaned. “Yet more examples of why you can’t attract a woman.” She wondered if he would bring some dried persimmon if she asked. Maybe if she mentioned they were Gin’s favorite.
Did Izuru even know that? Gin’s favorite food? Did he tell his lieutenant things like that? It wouldn’t surprise her if he hadn’t.
“He looks weird without the stupid little smirk on his face,” Izuru said, resolutely ignoring her jab.
Rangiku turned her attention back to Gin. He really did look so serene like this. Izuru was right, while he had naturally sharp features that lend themselves well to the persona he loved so much, it was nice to see him without that little smile he always wore.
It reminded Rangiku more of when they were kids. He’d been so much more… genuine.
But then, he’d never been more genuine than when he betrayed Soul Society—betrayed her, and then again when he was on his deathbed…
I’m glad I got to apologize to you.
As if he’d done any such thing. As far as Rangiku was concerned, the apologies didn’t mean shit without explanations to go with them.
She took the rice from Izuru, popped open the lid, and resigned herself to a flavorless dinner. At least it was filling.
At least she didn’t have to leave Gin. She could be right here to ambush him when he woke up. As revenge.
Not because she was worried about the asshole and just wanted to see him alive and breathing after what Aizen had done to him.
She and Izuru lapsed into comfortable silence. This had become a routine the past week, after all. And she and him had mourned Gin together before. After his betrayal, no one really understood how they felt except for the other.
So this was nothing new. It was simple. It was… easy.
She expected it to be another quiet night, and after she finished eating, she’d nod off at Gin’s bedside, and Izuru would leave as silently as he came in, and rinse and repeat.
No, she wasn’t expecting ice blue eyes to crack open.
She dropped her chopsticks, her bite of rice falling with them. Her mouth fell open in shock, and she hurriedly elbowed Izuru in the side, as he had gazed off to the left and utterly zoned out.
“Gin!” She leaned over the bed, her eyes going wide as she watched him crinkle his nose in displeasure, and groan on his lips as he rejoined the world of the… Well, not the world of the living, she supposed that expression did not exactly work within Soul Society.
His eyelids fluttered, and as he truly woke, he squinted up at Rangiku, like he couldn’t quite believe what he was looking at.
“Ran…giku?” he rasped.
Izuru shoved Rangiku aside before she had the chance to reply so he could hover over Gin as well.
“Hey!” She shoved him back, taking her rightful place as the center of Gin’s barely working attention.
Gin screwed his eyes shut at the commotion, but Rangiku was quick to pat his cheek. “Hell no! You’re not going back to sleep! You have things to explain!”
“Rangiku—” he attempted, his voice still hoarse and weak from so much sleep.
“No! I don’t care!”
“I—” The words devolved into a cough, and suddenly they were kids again. Suddenly they were barely surviving and caring for one another, sharing what food and water they could scrounge. Suddenly she did not merely want her answers.
She wanted him to be okay.
(It wasn’t sudden. She’d wanted that the whole time).
She reached for a glass on the bedside table, hoping she remembered which was water and which was sake, because she had to have some way to cope and pass the time whilst waiting on him to stir.
Apparently her choice had been correct, because Gin said nothing as he took the cup and lifted it to his lips to take slow sips of the water.
“It’s really pissing me off that you look so pathetic right now,” Izuru said. “How am I supposed to be as upset as I am when you look like that?”
A familiar smile slotted into place as Gin forced himself up. “Now, Izuru, whatever do you have to be—”
“Don’t,” Izuru said, his voice firm. “Don’t you fucking dare.”
Gin glanced to Rangiku, almost shocked by the utter refusal to play along and pretend that any of this was normal. Was he insane? Did he honestly think they were just going to act like none of this had happened? That they were going to treat him like he didn’t betray quite literally everyone he had ever known, and for what?
“Why?” Rangiku asked. She’d meant for the word to come out with some bite, to convey how unbelievably angry and betrayed she felt. But all that accompanied the word was a miserable wobble to her voice, as if she were about to burst into tears. But she would not. She would not. She had cried enough over this stupid man, and he didn’t deserve any more of her tears.
“I’m not dead?” Gin asked instead of replying. He looked down at his body, apparently surprised to find it in one piece, set the cup to one side, and curled his fingers a few times.
“Yeah, thank Unohana for that later, that’s not what I was asking,” Rangiku said. “You— Why? Why would you do that? Why did you do any of it? Why would you side with Aizen? I’ve just never been able to figure it out! The bullshit with the Hollows, and the Hogyoku, that wasn’t like you. That wasn’t anything you would have wanted. I know that—”
“Rangiku—”
“No!” she shouted as she screwed her eyes shut and shook her head. “No, let me finish! I never understood any of it! You said you became a shinigami to fix things, but you’re smarter than that! You had to have known Aizen wasn’t going to fix anything. Even if you wanted change, that wasn’t the change you would have wanted! And then—And then to turn on Aizen at the last second? How stupid are you? No, no you’re not stupid! You can’t have just happened to change your mind at that moment. So why would you get yourself killed by turning on that monster? Why did you think you stood a chance in hell against him at that point?”
Gin stared at her, his eerie blue eyes wide for one of the few times she had ever seen. And well, at least the mask had slipped. At least there was something genuine in that expression that one so rarely got with Gin.
Izuru laid a hand on Rangiku’s shoulder and gave it a firm squeeze, and it was only then that she realized how her chest was heaving and how loud she had gotten. She’d be surprised if no one came looking due to the commotion. The familiar burn of tears pricked at her eyes, but she still refused to let them fall. Not now. No. She’d cried enough. She refused.
“And you, Izuru…?” Gin asked as he looked away from Rangiku to his former lieutenant. “What is it you have to say to me?”
Izuru grimaced. “Less than her. You betrayed me. You betrayed the trust I had in you. When everything happened with Aizen I defended you against Hinamori because I had that much faith in you. And then you were all in on it together. We all must have looked so foolish to you, didn’t we?”
“It was Aizen’s plan,” he said.
“But you helped,” Izuru accused.
“Yes…” Gin sighed as he looked away from them both. “I did.”
“Why?” Rangiku asked, for what felt like the millionth time. She resisted the urge to reach out and grip a handful of Gin’s clothing to yank him close, to shake him, as if getting physical would relinquish the answers she wanted so desperately. “Just answer the damn question, Gin. What was it about Aizen that made you do this?”
Why was he more important to you than us? Than me?
“I hated Aizen,” Gin hissed with enough ferocity that Rangiku leaned back. “Not towards the end, not suddenly in the middle. From the moment I laid eyes on Aizen, I despised him.”
Izuru shook his head. “You honestly expect me to believe that? Why the fuck would you do this if you hated him?”
Rangiku’s hand came up to cover her mouth as she realized what Gin meant. Izuru hadn’t put the pieces together yet, but he would in a moment. She doubted Gin would have to actually say it, even if she would still demand that he did. Hadn’t she just asked that? What Gin had done, none of it made a damn bit of sense.
But that was only if he had been loyal to Aizen at all.
Gin wasn’t a fickle man. He was the furthest from it. He could not be bought over to different sides, did not and would not change his opinions. If he had been loyal to Aizen, it would have been from the start of things, and Gin would have remained loyal to Aizen to the moment he died.
But he hadn’t.
Because Gin had never truly sided with Aizen.
“Are you insane…?” Rangiku whispered. “What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you ruin your whole life for that? Why would you throw it away for that?! You hated him, so you turned traitor and followed him, so, what, you could have a chance to kill him while his guard was down? What the hell is wrong with you?!”
Izuru’s face went slack as he realized what Rangiku meant, as he put the pieces together himself.
Rangiku lunged to grab Gin, but halted halfway through the motion to instead lightly hit his chest. She would never hurt him, not even now, certainly not while he was vulnerable, but gods did she want to smack him. She grit her teeth, and finally gave up on keeping the tears at bay. “Answer me!”
“I was going to get back what he took from you,” Gin said. “I was going to make sure you didn’t cry anymore.” He reached out a hand, as if he intended to cup her cheek and wipe her tears away, but Rangiku flinched back, and he let his hand fall.
“I feel like I shouldn’t be here for this,” Izuru muttered as he made to get up and leave.
Rangiku’s hand shot out to grab his arm and force him back down. “Like hell you’re just leaving right now.”
“Well I don’t want to but clearly this has more to do with you than with me!”
Rangiku ignored him, but kept her iron grip on his upper arm. “Don’t you dare tell me you did this for me. Don’t you dare tell me you threw everything away like this for me. I never asked for that, I never wanted that, what the fuck are you even talking about?!” she demanded. “I don’t know what he took from me! He didn’t take anything! Aizen never gave a damn about me because I was unimportant in the whole grand scheme of things!”
“No you weren’t!” Gin shouted, as enough emotion finally broke through his coolness, as for the first time Rangiku had seen since they were children, it all bubbled over and he lost control of the utterly perfect way he felt things. “He took something from you! I saw him do it to others in the Rukongai! That day you had collapsed and was left to die, the day that we met, he left you for dead after doing it to you! All for that damn Hogyoku!” He gripped fistfuls of the blankets so tightly his knuckles went white. “How could I ever let that go? How could I ever let him go knowing he stole something for you? I don’t care about Soul Society. I don’t care about any of it. But he took something from you, and it’s because of him that you cried, so I had to put an end to it.”
“I don’t even know what you’re talking about!” Rangiku cried. “I don’t know what Aizen took from me! It can’t have been that important, especially not important enough for this. You think I wanted this? You think I wanted you to ruin everything about yourself for something I don’t even know or can’t remember? Who cares what Aizen took from me! You were taken from me! You took yourself away from me, and that matters a whole helluva lot more than whatever the fuck Aizen did!” She hung her head as her shoulders began to shake with sobs that she just couldn’t keep contained anymore. “I never asked for this… I never asked for any of this…. I never asked to lose my best friend, I never asked to live listening to everyone else I know and care about hate him. I never asked you to give up your whole life, to die for me! Who would want that? Why would anyone want that? What do you take me for? Do you honestly think that I’m that selfish?”
“No, I don’t,” Gin said simply. “I am selfish. Why do you think I never told you? I knew you wouldn’t like it, I knew you would want to stop me. But I couldn’t allow that. I couldn’t allow him to get away with it. I couldn’t allow you to be hurt like this.”
“You hurt me far more than Aizen ever did,” she accused. She immediately felt dirty over the words, over the way that Gin’s eyes widened just a fraction with them, even if that was all the hurt that would ever show on his face.
But they were true. And Gin was a smart man, he had to have already known that.
I’m glad I got to apologize to you.
That didn’t mean anyone was prepared to hear something like that, though.
If he thought this was okay, if he thought he needed to do this, he had never cared enough about her. No, no that wasn’t it… he had cared far too much.
“I never asked for this,” she rasped. “I never wanted this. And even though you lived, if you’re not executed, you’re going to be imprisoned for the rest of your life. I am never going to be okay with this…” Her hand slipped away from Izuru’s arm, the other man staring at her in pure shock over the outburst.
She knew, in the end, that Izuru would agree with her though.
Because who could ever agree with what Gin had done for her?
“I won’t apologize,” Gin murmured.
With a heavy, resigned sigh, Rangiku forced herself to her feet. “I know.” She knew Gin well enough for that, knew his viciousness, knew his love.
He would always believe he had done what he had to, what was right by her.
As she turned and left, leaving him behind for the first time in days, Rangiku wondered if she would ever understand it.

I see transgirl Mabel all the time.
Where’s transboy Mabel?
I want to see Mable going around copying Dipper and his two trans uncles, trying to be manly because they are the very definition of male in Mabel’s eyes.
Need to see Grunkle Ford be the one to recognize the dysphoria Mabel is going through and has been growing through for years and hasn’t shown any sign of it abating, being able to tell Mabel is acting like a girl a bit too hard and overcompensating to insane and unhealthy levels because Mabel doesn’t understand that ‘just thinking she can make it easier if she plays make believe hard enough’ doesn’t work.
Have Ford be the one to buy Mabel his first set of ‘boy clothes’ and even cut his hair (which Stan fights with him over initially because cutting Mabel’s hair with fire is INSANE FORD) and introduce Mabel to being a ‘he’.
Dipper so needs to help Mabel come out to their parents when they go home and then support Mabel in ‘living like a man’ until they manage to go back to their grunkles for the summer again and get Mabel’s friends in on the action.
Get Mabel on those testosterone injections with grunkle Ford’s help (he has 12 PHDs - he feels more than qualified to get Mabel on a safe homemade compound after getting parental permission), and build up his body and work on his vocal chords with Grunkle Stan’s help.
Most of all I want to see sixteen year old Mabel after a year on hormones cry in Grunkle Stan’s lap about how he doesn’t know how he’s going to be able to deal with the possible after effects of top surgery and actually have doubt about going through with it due to ingrained societal pressure and Grunkle Stan talking him through it by explaining exactly how he felt and became sure of himself when he was younger, and Mabel instantly relating to it as they find shared ground.
I want to see Mabel coming back after top surgery and showing off his T-scars with Ford and Stan as they hangout outside throwing water balloons and playing on the slip and slide. Turns out Mabel got the same top surgery scars as Stan has (fishmouth - because they look cool to me).
Want Mabel to take one look at Wendy and Pacifica, now that Mabel feels confident in his body and his bisexuality, and look at Dipper dead serious and be like ‘Wow, okay I get it now.’ And Dipper to lose his shit going ‘Right?!’ as they both start bonding so effortlessly over a surprisingly similar taste they have in girls.
And does Mabel change his name? No, Mabel feels that name is his and always has been, it fits like a glove, the only thing that was ever right about him before he recognized what he needed to be happy with life.
Top it all off, when Mabel gets bottom surgery at eighteen he literally goes around celebrating like it's his birthday and throwing a party by doing the whole going to the bathroom standing up in the woods, getting little cupcakes with cute penis candles on top of them, makes a banner that says ‘Congrats it’s a boy!’ and having playful back and forths with dipper going ‘I’m bigger!’ ‘Na-uh! I am!’ - all in an overly sweet and endearing way that makes everyone just unable to help laughing about the whole thing,

I have decided that I am going to play a game with the characters from my latest fic which is in progress instead of continuing to write chapter two. This includes canon characters and Ocs. If you wanna know the actual hero/vilian outfits you'll have to wait. Jack is an oc made by @softmeetscreatureplz The game is below the cut bc of how long it is.
Dazai: What game are we playing? Me: Guess the identity of certain people, I give you all a hero or villain and you have to guess their identity, however if you get it wrong you get locked up until I make you play something again! Flame: And why should we play? Me: Because I can kill you off with a click of my fingers. Flame: … Me: Okay so, Nakaharas you gettttttt Void!! Chuuya: Why does it have to be that prick? Miyo: Vod? Ryuunosuke: Mama, let's just play, it doesn't matter if it's Void, it's a game. Gin: Nodding silently Q: Do we get a photo or…? Me: Of course. *Photo of a man who is 5'11 with fluffy brown hair and bandages all over him) Miyo: Dazie! Chuuya: Are you sure you wanna pick Dazai? Ryuunosuke, Q and Gin: *Silently watching* Miyo: Yes! Chuuya: We're going with Dazai Me: Are you sure you wanna go with what a five year old says? Chuuya, Gin, Q and Ryuunosuke: Nodding in time with each other Yes Me: Alright, congratulations one point for the nakaharas Miyo: Yay!! Me: Okay, Dazai and Ty, who is Sorrow? Dazai: Sorrow as in the most wanted villain in the country Sorrow? Me: Yes. Dazai: How are we meant to know? That veil he has has gems in it so it blocks our view of his face and reflects light so no camera can catch even a glimpse of his face. Ty: It's Chuuya. Dazai: No it's not! Ty: It is, his voice and his height and build is the same and Sorrow always smells like the coffee from Chuuyas cafe which is why you complain about fighting him since you can never get over to the stray dogs cafe before it closes due to our shift times. Dazai: … Dazai: Is he right? Me: Yep. Dazai: Screeching like a new born baby Me: Jackkkkkk? Jack: looks up and then looks back at his book Me: If you play I'll set up for you and Ty to have your own slow burn romance novel. Jack: Closes the book What's the game? Me: You guess the identity of the person I give you. Jack: Alright. Me: Your person is Torch. Jack: Ty. Me: … Me: How did you? Jack: You don't need to know. Me: I don't want to know. Me: Kunikida!!! Kunikida: What is it, Echo? Me: It's simple, you're playing this game. Kunikida: Who's my person? Me: Hellhound. Kunikida: Do I get a hint? Me: He already participated in one of the first two rounds. kunikida: Nakahara Ryuunosuke. He is the only teen that fits the physical definition of Hellhound. Me: I thought this was gonna be harder for all of you. Me: Wait if you knew why haven't you arrested them yet!? Heroes: Shrugs Me: Fucking dumbasses.
Flame: What about me? Me: Oh, right you exist. Flame: Hurry up. Me: Beast Flame: is it that kid with white hair that's hugging that kid with black hair? Points at Atsushi who is hugging Akutagawa Me: Yes...
Atsushi: Looks up, confused Huh? Me: Use protection Atsushi: HUH!? Ryuunosuke: Extremely flustered Yosano: Whos my one? Me: Ah, Golden. Yosano: As in my wife? Me: Yep. Me: Kouyou, your turn. Kouyou: If it's my wife I will win. Me: No, it's Mara. Kouyou: There's no villain or hero by that name? Me: Its something one of Sorrows know associates are called however they have never been on scene Chuuya: Coughing and trying not to panic Kouyou: Do I get a hint? Me: Yes. She's adorable and you know her. Kouyou: Adorable and I know her? Kouyou: Miyo...? Chuuya: Nodding silently while trying to hide his panic Dazai: Staring at them in shock Me: Okay everyone! Now that we're done, your memories are gonna be wiped so we don't mess up the plot. Dazai: You never said anything about that! Me: I didn't think I'd have to. Flame: Evil woman Me: Thank you <3 Flame: That wasn't a compliment. Me: I know. ^^

HEy Vat7k fandom, you guys have any Nuru or Yong centric fics? I love Yong to bits, he's always been my fav from the entire story but it's either he's handled as a side character or baby-ified. I've seen other media writing 12 year olds way better than how he's often interpreted (from what I've seen/read so far anyways).
Nuru, I haven't even seen any fics where she isn't just. Kinda there. So please if you have any, feel free to share it! I would love to read about these characters specifically
#vat7k#varian and the seven kingdoms#pls guys I'm so hungry for content about them#on that note because I feel like rambling. Here are some 12 year olds I loved the writing of in other shows:#Molly Blyndeff and her friends from epithet erased#All the kiddads from dungeons and daddies (LET 12 YEAR OLDS HAVE PANIC ATTACKS AND TRAUMA IF THE STORY DICTATES SO.)#Gin from your turn to die (optimistic. adorable and still extremely emotionally mature and lots of help? In an adult environment? yes pleas#Casey and Lunella from moongirl (I think they're like 12? idk)#THE PINE TWINS FROM GRAVITY FALLS. COME ON.

CHAPTER THREE PART TWO PREDICTIONS.
-kai will come back (because i said so) and the #gang will think he's a doll until he's like "i am in fact. not a doll, 'gang'"
-gin and keiji fucking die (based off that one diary you find in chapter two part two)
-sara's dad is mastermind and the gang is like :0!!!!! and kai's like "bruh."
-miley will chase the gang (mostly because of kai since she probably only let him live after the fact just to kill him herself since she said she "wouldn't allow suicide") and pinkie pie girl is like "stop that, lesbian!"
-mishima's head will be found and it's gonna be kai who had it trust trust
-keiji will like. full on name joe's dad and sara's gonna be like "um... so that's joe mama's papa... ermmm...."
-gin is gonna cry and probably explain his first trial, he will in fact be taken as hostage AGAIN (why is this a pattern.)
-there will be a choice between killing sara's dad or not and if you do you get the good ending and if you don't you get the bad ending
-security footage of most of the first trial will be dropped? perchance?
-there will be a LOT of different dialogue depending on who you saved and if it's hayasaka you'll get a lot more insight on the game
-the emotion route will be the peak route and the logic route will have like. bad stuff and everyone's like boohoo -if you did the logic route and alice died alice will come back from sheer awesomeness but reko won't because she's being dead with her girlfriend
-kai is gonna crash out at least seven times (but it's okay his boyfriend will calm him down)
-alice and kai (and sara and kanna or sou i guess) will be the only survivors and then the two get married and everyone comes back from the dead to celebrate
hope you guys enjoyed
