#gogoat #i like this Less than skiddo. which is unfortunately why i rarely ever end up using skiddo in my teams #that's the main thing stopping me from using a lot of pokémon in my teams. i like their prevos but the final evolutions just don't do it #for me for one reason or another and since that's the only reason to use a pokémon on your team aside from the early game i just #never end up using that pokémon. because they'll just fall so drastically behind so quickly that i never use them #so pokémon like skiddo‚ fennekin‚ vulpix‚ ponyta #etc etc i never end up using just because i only like their weak baby forms. and like i guess it's a me issue bc i could just give them an #eviolite and say it's a strat but i always feel like i'm missing out on a lot by not letting them evolve. some pokémon get such a huge stat #boost that i feel like keeping them a baby is just holding my whole team back #so i never use skiddo despite loving it to death. justice for skiddo. y'know what #i'm gonna go change my discord icon to a skiddo RIGHT now #get skiddo'd

if the bad batch dies at the end of the show i'll be sad but it'll make me even sadder/angry because i just KNOW echo's death won't get as much focus as hunter or wrecker of crosshair's death.

he's been sidelined so much since he joined up with rex, to the point of barely getting a mention until he just... shows up during the barton-iv episode. it makes me so sad because echo's the member of the batch we've known the longest. he's the one who's been around the most, one of the clones who has been the MOST affected by the entire clone wars/order 66, but because they pushed him to the side halfway through season 2, it means that his death might not have the weight that it deserves.

is it too much to ask that if he does die, we get a heartfelt, emotional, soul-crushing final exchange between him and rex, a parallel with fives' death in rex's arms? if echo does die, i hope we see them mourn. i hope we see rex have a complete breakdown at losing his last boy in blue. i hope we see howzer and gregor mourn the brother who helped rescue them and gave them hope. i hope we see omega cry over her big brother, hunter, wrecker, and crosshair mourn the member of their batch who left everything he knew to join up with them.

echo dying would literally be the worst thing and i think i'd cry for weeks, but if he does die at the end of the show, i want his death to affect everyone around him, because he deserves that. he deserves time to show just how loved and needed he was by his brothers and sister.

#asks #if u want some small bit of context/tldr story time: i was actually actively physically dying while in high school #internally bleeding to death and the staff members werent kind about how often id miss classes/fall asleep bc of it #i was very irritable and bitter a lot bc of that. and my high school stopped giving out the only milk i liked during lunch #bc not as many people would drink it bc most kids only wanted the chocomilk. and i was upset about that.#and so i enacted hell upon the school and did a little Something Something with the chocolate milk #that being leaving cartons to rot in my locker for 1-2 weeks and then sneaking them back into the cafeteria box #the vice principal was the very first victim and threw up in the middle of the cafeteria. it was beautiful.#he deserved it. being the main reason that happened iirc. it was beautiful poetic and karmic justice to me.#leaving the other 2 asks forever still. theyre precious to me. thanks for freaking out at me anon it was funny

#tm #i i'm like i'm short circuiting #the way - when they both carry so much pain and trauma with them; where they deal with death and the worst of people every day;#when they've lost so much; lost each other more than once -#one of the most pervasive themes in their story; woven throughout it from the very beginning is happiness #wanting to give whatever happiness they can to others -#comforting families and getting justice for victims and jane's gifts and pranks and lisbon's supportive leadership and understanding -#wanting to be happy themselves; and maybe most importantly wanting the other to be happy #like just off the top of my head (and i'm so tempted to go right back and rewatch and actually write down every one) there's so much of it #and it makes me crazy because of how it's expressed on both sides #lisbon doesn't SAY it much - most of the 'i want you to be happy' kind of lines are jane's - but she SHOWS it #from the day they met and she helped him up off the floor she's there in support of him;#her quiet comfort when he's low; her eye rolls and indulging grins when he's pulling a silly trick on the team;#her soft smiles in the background when someone genuinely thanks him and he doesn't know what to do #with the pain she has in her past; in growing up; with the tough skin she's wrapped herself in to get through what she has #she appreciates the quieter moments; the moments where her big bombastic partner lets down his guard and #stops putting on so much of a show and she can see the joy he can still find in the little things even with all the darkness he carries #it's jane that has the big loud moments - the confessions and the spoken words - where he states outright (and repeatedly)#how much he wants her to be happy; how important it is to him and that makes so much sense because that's who he is #(not always of course but more often than not and that's how he presents himself)#he's dramatic and he's bold and his grief is the same; this giant unavoidable yoke that's never going to completely fall off his shoulders #and idk there's just something so beautiful to me about this man with the more obvious burden of pain being so doggedly - and vocally -#committed to the happiness of this woman who tries to hide her pain and shies away from comfort more than she's able to accept it #and that through everything they've been together the ways both of them approach happiness and each other have also come together #where he can say something like this and not only can she be happy for him but she can know just how much of that is because of her #'for the first time in YOU know how long' and she does #they just make me crazy

There's a very low chance of it happening but I really really hope we get HoO adaptated... How cool would it be for Rick to completely change the events so that the story was streamlined better? Now that we know he's not against changing details to suit the themes he's working with?

how cool would it be for him to revisit these characters that he struggled writing? especially now that he knows what the end goal is?

How cool would it be to see their development technically cross over two versions of the same timeline? An extended version of canon where things went slightly to the left but happened nonetheless?

#I want my kids to be given justice so bad #give Jason and Piper their proper development. make it more prominent in their characterisation and plot #give Frank and Hazel more impact in big battles. let them SHOW that they are children of War and Death #give Leo and Calypso more time to develop and overcome their traumas #Show that people CAN recover and that sometimes what you need is a friend #most of all #let them be a family #Show me Piper and Percy bonding over needing their parents there for support #show me Frank grieving his family and home and being supoorted by his friends #show me Jason slowly breaking down under pressure and Piper (and maybe Leo if he's there) holding him #show me Leo being dragged out of the engine room by Piper #show me Hazel with her sword out standing protectively in front of people older than her with vicious intent
