One of my absolute favorites! It's ongoing and full of salt! One reason it's a fav is because it is inspired by and kinda a rewrite of Haunted Mansion, and I'm a sucker for that! Quantic Kids are of course here and I love that! Honestly can't recommend it enough.

Saw your clone Donnie au and I thought of dramatic Donnie a bit and realized that he probably would act a lot like how Leo does when he’s being dramatic.

They're cut from the same cloth. The co-kings of Drama Town, each even comes with their own spotlight, lol. Donnie's just a bit more theatrical with his dramatization than Leo is, saying things like "alas" and quotin' straight Shakespeare sometimes.

Dramatic Donnie probably acts like he's performing at the Globe 24/7.

Here's the last* of my art ideas right now!

I thought that, since Clover only has 20 HP, they'd probably not have really good defense (but given that they have a Boss Monster-like SOUL, maybe I'm wrong) so I gave them every single piece of armor in the game*! So they now have a DEF stat of 64 and heal 2 HP every turn, which will definitely help them to survive

Warning: I did not include the Patch as that gives 0 defense or the secret Band Pin because I have no idea what it would look like/where it goes as I have never gotten it myself

Also, yes, the Safety Goggles (which I know are actually science safety goggles) are the ones Star gave them during the dual, don't ask how they found them again after their boat funeral, and the Stray Feather is one of their own (I'm assuming it'd come from one of their wings or a random downy feather that just sort of. appeared on them)

Anyways, this was SUPPOSED to be the last one, but I see you have finished the Feisty Four, meaning I got two more ideas! Woohoo! I even had a whole thing prepared for this being the last one, but alas I suppose it must wait until the FF have been finished

Just noticed the goggles' shine is red instead of white, don't know how that happened, might be the transparency of it mixed with Clover's fur and it is actually white or I just somehow accidentally made it red, oh well

Were people mad about Marion x Sean not happening? I know it was popular during episode 1 but I feel like by episode 2 most everyone saw the writing in the walls with Marion and Jean obviously being into each other.

A refreshingly small number, honestly! It was one or two people in the main tags and maybe one or two more who said obnoxious things in the tags of my posts. I used that as an example because it was fresh in my mind and because that was genuinely such a great line in a fantastic arc in a fantastic series that closing yourself off to it is a miserable prospect.

Here is the thing about writing on the walls: there is a level of shipping where people will openly ignore it, eg: literally everyone who claims Beau and Yasha "came out of nowhere"; basically anyone who focuses extensively on microexpressions because that frequently goes hand-in-hand with ignoring Character A and Character B kissing each other in favor of how Character C blinked a millisecond too rapidly in A's direction; etc.

This also, honestly, isn't limited to shipping, though that's the most common case where I see it. I think part of why Campaign 2 hate is so bitter at times is because there are genuinely many, many people who watched all 141 episodes and who loved almost everything in 140 of them and then hated that the finale did not bring back Molly or did not have the ship they thought was "supposed" to happen appear - I was there, and people who claim Campaign 2 sucked were there too watching along throughout the whole thing; they just definitely thought the couples would all break up and rearrange in episode 141 for no apparent reason.

That's really my larger point: I think there is a certain kind of person who tells themself how a story "should" end, whether it's a particular ship or a particular story beat, and becomes furious when the story - which never made that promise - fails to deliver. Not only did Candela pretty clearly signal that Marion and Jean were into each other, it also told us inherently within the story and in literally every out of character interview that this was pretty much guaranteed to not end remotely close to any sort of happily ever after. It's funny - earlier in campaign 3 there was a lot of flack towards some fans' (of which I was one) frustration with the story on the basis of narrative/pacing, and I still see the inane "must stories have conflict" argument pop up. But those same people who get mad at those who talk about inconsistent themes or characterization or awkward pacing are, more often than not, people whose assessment of a story rests entirely on the incredibly narrow "did I get the exact ships and plot elements I wanted out of this and was my blorbo the coolest guy ever all the time," rather than the broad and inclusive "did this story capably deliver on an interesting premise."

How come in some of your Ladybug stories you salt on Tom and Sabine, while in others you keep them as good parents?

Because I go back and forth with them. They are shown to be loving parents, and I want to believe in that, and from what we see, they are to an extent, but you can also view it on another side where they seem attentive and everything but like we see that Marinette is very independent and plus with all the time they spend in the bakery, it could kind of paint a picture of unintentional neglect and such.

So that's kind of why I go back and forth. I want to show both sides I suppose.

Hi! Saw you talking about Wriowinne/Sigewrio in a previous post, and I would love to hear your headcanons or thoughts on them, if you have any! I have also gone through the same experience of labelling them as father and daughter at first but the archon quest changed my mind since it made them look more like partners in crime to me hahaha

Hi there! I see the archon quest has made several people rethink their vision of Sigewinne, honestly I'm really happy with what Mihoyo has done with her. It's nicely obvious that she's as mature as Wriothesley is, even Paimon says she feels like an older sister - she may look like a kid, but nobody treats her like one because she clearly isn't one.

As for wriowinne, as you said, they really feel like partners in crime! I wound up shipping them because they're clearly close, and because I am not immune to this kind of dynamic - scary-looking guy who's actually pretty sweet, and innocent-looking girl who's actually pretty off-putting. Sigewinne seems to have been Meropide's nurse for a long time, she knows exactly what kind of environment and what kinds of people she's working with. So I imagine the archon quest wasn't a one-off kind of event and Wriothesley involves her in his decisions and actions more often than not! She's someone he can trust with a lot. And he's someone who knows what she's like, so she can study human behavior all she likes around him.

(Though it's been a running joke with a of my few friends that Wriothesley is a bit of a weirdo and is very into what makes Mélusines seem off-putting to other people, so I'm sure a few of her results are skewed with him.)

Someone else I'll happily direct you to if you're interested in several walls of text's worth of headcanons is my own partner in crime @feroluce, who's been slowly losing their mind over these two and who I'm pretty sure only needs a single ask to unleash the flood of ideas they have for them!

Hello. As someone who also has the “Ichiya and Goggles are brothers” headcanon and reads Coroika, I want to share that Goggles is the type of squid who always brings up his older brother to the rest of the Blue Team and how cool and talented he is. But Goggles doesn’t bother to mention the fact that said brother is FRICKING ICHIYA SQUID SQUAD. So when Blue Team ends up meeting Ichiya and they start putting two and two together, they’re absolutely flabbergasted. Also you can read the manga at Mangadex. Just search “Mangadex Splatoon.”

I've seen from your reblogs that you're a Metroid fan, so am I :) Which is your favorite kind of Metroid game? FPS (Metroid Prime trilogy), 2D (Super, Fusion, etc.), or Other M. Mine is Metroid Prime trilogy, and imo, it's the definitive Metroid experience.

Yes I am! And I've been slowly uncovering the hidden networks of Metroid people on Tumblr 😁

My first introduction to the series was the Prime games, and for a while I did prefer them, but I think I've evened out; no preference for 2D vs 1st-person 3D and honestly even what OM was doing mechanically has its place. There are the bones of something good in there, but that's a blog for another time.

I actually have a bone to pick with Trilogy, lol. It's a weird nitpicky little hill to do battle on, but I really don't like what they did to the Chozo lore in Prime. In brief, the North American version's(which I played) logs were different from the PAL version, which became Trilogy onward - and I think the changes made take away from the personal connection to Samus and muddy some of the story.

Beyond that one weird hangup, though, I think Prime and/or Echoes are my all-time faves, and what Trilogy did updating the controls was really cool. The release of Remastered has utterly delighted me, too, because now more people can easily and, more importantly, affordably play what I think is one of the best entries to the series - and the graphical facelift and modernized controls are just gravy.
