Aight, so with Spider-Man 2 coming out on PS5 soonish, I’m gonna rant about a discourse that’s been happening on twitter (and maybe tumblr, haven’t seen it yet) about black hair in video games. This all comes from the new hairstyle they gave Miles Morales in the game

Now, it ain’t a bad hairstyle. I think it fits him quite well. But people online quickly noticed that this haircut is part of a trend currently with black video game characters. It seems to be the go-to hairstyle for some

Now, it’s easy to see why this hairstyle because super popular lately. It’s because of one dude, Micheal B Jordan in Blank Panther. Like dude rocked it and looked so hot doing so. Damn near almost had me getting that hairstyle too.

But I wanna defend the big use of this hairstyle for two main reasons. First, it works well from a character design perspective. Since it is such a newer, trendy haircut, you can get a sense of the character being more fashionable, more trendy, you can tell they care how they look and how they carry themselves. It also works for younger characters to give a difference on how the culture has changed with hairstyles (if there happens to be another black character that has an older hairstyle)

Now for Miles specifically, it works because it is digging into the old trope of “character grows out hair as they grow into themselves.” Miles in the first game rocked the Super Smash Bros Afro, which I mean… nerdy kid, a little insecure, doesn’t really know how/even want to clean up himself. Like I get it, been there myself

In Spider-Man Morales, he actually cleans up a little. Gets a nice fade going to signify his new responsibility. So now a year later, starting to grow the baby dreads just makes sense

Now the other more selfish reason why I’m defending this hairstyle trend is… JUST LET GAME DESIGNERS LEARN HOW TO ADD ONE MORE HAIRSTYLE TO THE THEY CURRENTLY GIVE BLACK MEN. Like this discourse forgets that for as long as I’ve been alive, most games got 2-4 of the same hairstyles for black people. A fade, cornrows, Rasta dreads, and then Afro which sometimes if’s just at a stupid length. So, imma let them add one more and overuse it, because I just need something new.

Plus I haven’t seen this cut yet in a character creator. Most character creators only got like 2. The Sims 4 got like 6 with all the dlc. Baldur’s Gate 3, even with how great it is, only had like 3-4 black men styles. In Japanese games, I might be lucky to get two. Monster Hunter Rise practically only has the stupidly large Afro. Like, that’s just not ok. Video games still have a long way to go for black character customization. So I’m happy if we at least start getting a new trendy one in games more often. Cause at least it’s still a start.

The Squalls pt 9

Today is the day! This is the day I catch you up on the Squall family drama. I swear I can't focus on taking pictures anywhere else because this family take all of my picture taking energy. It's like the Squalls are attention seekers or something because they want all of my dang time. 😭

So much happens in the Squall and Flintstone family. I think that's why my lower class families so fun. Plus ACR. Definitely ACR.

Anyway, I'm having Tidus work on his butchering so that we can sell some meat at his new shop. I want his butcher shop to be fully stocked with plenty of inventory before I purchase the lot, so he spends all day cutting meat and buys the land later that night.

And viola! Our butcher shop is here. It's to late to open the shop right now and I don't want to leave Amala alone with the toddlers while pregnant for to long, so all I do is build the shop with the family funds and have him head back home.

Our little lady Alana grows up and gets the mooch trait. Hmm...maybe a symptom of her upbringing? At least she gets along just fine with her little cousins.

Kai tries to improve his fishing skills. Anything sold is added to his own funds since he will need his own home some day once he's old enough.

It's not long after the kids age up that Amala goes into labor.

And finally Tidus has his heir, Tidus II. Tidus decides to throw a party to celebrate which triggers a series of unfortunate events.

His wife didn't even have the courtesy to wait until he was out of the room before trying to sleep with another man! 😨

I completely forgot that those two had a thing going on while I was playing the uni rotation, but in my defense, this dude hadn't been invited. He has the inappropriate trait, so his ass just showed up because he wanted to!

I could only watch in horror as that loud 'boing' sound blared through my speakers and ruined my dreams of the Squalls finally having a happy family!

And even though Amala pretends to be sad, she tries once again to sleep with him. I can't even! What's with these so called family sims?

Damn, I also forgot he had a thing with Summer too! I was startled to hear that boing sound again, so I believe he flirted with Amayla in front of Summer and the whole family. He really is inappropriate!

He has the nerve to be sniveling over her after laying it low and spreading it wide after sleeping with a married women under the husbands home. The nerve!

An interesting thing about Midgethetree's romantic standards mod is that it causes a lot of relationship loss for people who witness the cheating if they are related the sim being cheated on. When I say all of the Squall children are pissed at this dude, I mean that.

Kai grew up into a teen and got the genius trait and became a family sim. I guess he wants the wholesome family that unfortunately the Squalls have not had so far. Kai quickly shows how much he despises this hussy before I can even get him dressed appropriately.

Tidus continues to do his duty and ages up his toddler siblings, but his older siblings are still upset. Especially hot headed Lani who slaps the taste out of his mouth.

This stops nothing as Amala sleeps with him TWICE in her husband's bed during the birthday party. This witch! 🤬

Tidus can't take the humiliations no longer. And even if he could I couldn't!

She leaves that night with nothing to her name after she and Squall get into a fight. I think I might move her and her lover together. I'm convinced that she might be pregnant by him.

Alana is distraught that her once happy home is ruined and so am I and so is Kai. Tidus doesn't deserve this at all. He has always did everything for his family and for his wife to betrayed him so callously must have hurt. Maybe there is a curse on the Squall men preventing a happy marriage because this is the second time a Squall ended up divorced. Like father like son.

Ok guys I just woke up from a dream-

It was a commercial. We all got it at the same time. It was on your phones, your computers tv screens radios. Basically anything that connected you to anyone within minutes, it was playing. But it was a commercial.

It was basically about a new system that was about to be put into place. But technically it was already happening. Like how you phone tracks you and shit and listens to you? Well now you were now apart of a digital world. “Somewhere better” the commercial said.

Dude it gave us a split second of what it’ll feel like. You know how in video games there’s a map on the lower screen? That shit happened. Irl. And it showed you where you where. Where strangers are. Your family, your friends. Where bad things were currently taking place. Where the damn police were located. The commercial repeatedly said “safe/you will be safe”.

Other important notes where, you could walk into “shops” and it was just social media places. Tumblr looked like Hot Topic. Deadass. But longer. I met up with all of the mods on HazyAltCare lol. It was weird. I got go into discord and it was basically like a huge gymnasium. Quickly found my pepz and we high fived Lmfao. I remember saying how cool it was we could now touch each other. YouTube and other streaming platforms looked like movie theaters.

There was in ad playing within the ad we were currently getting a sample of. Should be noted that everyone halo blue. We were working sims basically. And 2nd ad that was playing in our “screens” was saying how we could customize ourselves.

This was all obvious creepy and j wanted to leave.

But luckily the ad ended and we were all back into our original locations irl, looking at the screens. And the commercial ended with “Next Is™️ soon”

Then I woke up. Sweating.

Me telling my stepdad how it really hurt that my ma got rid of my dog like he was trash. How my gremlin was my best friend. My motivation. My world: 🥹

Me: BITCH WHO’S SIDE ARE YOU ON?! One moment you’re trying to help me keep him (supposedly) and now this trash? Seriously dude. Be real and honest with me for once. Damn.

But really. My dog, Mickey, aka gremlin, good big boy, little terrorist, cuddle buddy, shithead, lanky teenager, bud, was my absolute world. I loved him so much. He brought me so much joy and was there for me and took care of me. He did so much for me in the three years I was blessed to have him, than anyone has ever done in my twenty years of pathetic, depressed, hot mess, traumatic life.

And all anyone sees is “a dog”

I have hundreds upon hundreds of photos of him, and I can tell you about each and every single one of them.

There was a day I almost passed out without really knowing till my ma told me to sit down. He hopped up and sat on my lap and just kept looking at me and sniffing my face.

A year ago I had a super bad seizure. I came too with a huge black eye and a lump/egg on my head and a cut at the corner. I would get dizzy spells and all sorts of crap from it afterwards (pretty sure I had a concussion). Through it all I never got anything from anyone. (What I mean is any form of concern) and yeah that’s petty of me, but when my sister would have a headache, it was the end of the world.

But there was someone there. Mick. He stayed by my side through everything. He would get up all in my business and look my face over. It was quite funny. He’d do it even after I was better, and it was so silly. I’d tell him who I was and that I am still here. It seemed as though he’d forget where he was or who he was with. I know the feeling of doddling (disassociating for me) and suddenly forgetting where you are. So I’d just give him a little reminder, even though he didn’t need it.

I was in the basement with my ex, and one thing that bothered me was how touchy he was was, and he was being extra touchy and grabby then. Mick came down and put himself between us, which is quite funny as not only is he a coward, but also didn’t like the guy. Mick pushed his fears aside and saved me.

He loved watching me play video games. Preferably Ark: Survival Evolved and The Sims- specifically when I would make a dog. Also loooved tv.

Mick also always needed to be touching me. If I was laying somewhere, he’d do anything to have any contact. He’d put his paw on me, push his head against my side, etc. he loved curling up on my legs, more so in the crook/knee pits when I was laying on my side.

I can go on and on about my baby, but I’ll cut it short here. I’ll make another post of me gushing over him.

I gave Malcolm Landgraab a makeover for storytelling purposes. He made the community pretty excited (4.2k likes in less than a day lol! i thought my phone will combust) and i'm proud of my problematic boy.

The vibe i was aiming for was the golden boy in his early twenties that casually plays golf with senators and looks like he owns the world, and is always praised and admired for what he has but never for who he is. Always for the wealth and influence that his family has. For others, he always looks like he won a life lottery, even when he doesn't really feel like the winner. Must keep up appearances at all times!

I think Nancy is very demanding and puts a lot of pressure on Malcolm to mold him into what she wants, and he never really had an example of someone who can stand up to her standards and demands (his father is way too soft for it, brother was disowned for pursuing his dreams), so Malcolm is conditioned to strive for perfection but is never perfect enough for Nancy. Under the surface, he's got quite a fragile self-esteem that is easily threatened so he can be really reactive. Not to his parents though, especially not to his mother, he suppresses that anger and it comes out elsewhere.

What instruments do you think the legends would play?

Ho boy -

Bloodhound: In line with old Icelandic and Norse instruments, possibly a lyre of some kind. Probably tried out guitar when they started interacting with the modern world more but never really got into it.

Gibraltar: Canonly plays the uke and honestly that’s just his vibe yo. Dude likes to chill. Also probably didn’t wanna bother learning anything more complex. Proooobably slacked off on music lessons in school.

Lifeline: In line with having a higher education, piano and harp. She’s pretty damn good at but prefers the piano; she was in lessons from toddlerhood all the way up until she left home at 19. She avoids both in favor of the drums.

Pathfinder: Tesla coils that he codes to play hot cross buns. Mirage will sometimes mess with his Tesla coils, so they play the Death March from Star Wars.

Wraith: Honestly, don’t think she can play any. Not her priority. Can whistle a fine tune and knows several, though she has no idea when or where she picked this skill up. She likes to imagine she was some kind of whistle aficionado in the 3rd grade. Seems like something a kid would do.

Bangalore: Also piano, her Nana taught her because “Lord forbid a girl don’t know how to play an instrument”. Bangalore never really understood what Nana meant by that, since she said the same thing about all her brothers. Unlike Lifeline, Bangalore actually really enjoys playing when she can and usually subs in when the piano player at her church is out. Also can pluck a guitar a little bit from what Jackson taught her, but after he went missing she couldn’t bring herself to learn any more, or play. He’d be really disappointed, but she tries not to think about it.

Caustic: He’s a clarinet hoe. His mom thought it would help him socialize. All it taught him was that he hated the clarinet. And the guy who played the triangle because he never hit it on time. Fuck, he hated that guy.

Mirage: Literally just Inchworm on the piano. He filled up all his brain space with engineering stuff, cocktail recipes and his own top 10 Apex plays.

Octane: The only thing he had the attention span and want to learn was the jaw harp, ‘cause it was one of the weirdest things he could think of at the time. He was also motivated because it pissed off his dad and wives number 3-5. 6 was actually pretty chill with it. He does technically know how to play the piano and violin through lessons he was forced into, but he’s elected to forget everything. Would probably shred an electric guitar if he got interested enough to learn it because he, as a rule, is actually really good/smart about things he cares about.

Wattson: She’s the one that showed Path you could make music with Tesla coils. She likes to use them to recreate classical pieces. She found if she puts on her suit and stands between two of them, she can make her own music. This freaked Wraith the fuck out the first time she showed her, even though she knew she’d be okay.

Crypto: He can’t play any actual instruments, but he can use one of those music creation programs to make beats or arrange instruments as if he had an orchestra to control. Dude couldn’t have really afforded an instrument or lessons growing up by my guess, but he had some kind of access to a computer, and if anything, he could have pirated the program, so that’s why he probably can’t play anything outside of it. Started playing with classical music more when he and Wattson became friends.

Revenant: As a human? Probably nothing. As a Sim? One time he took two femurs to a guy’s ribcage and managed a decent rendition of hot cross buns.

Loba: Once she got to the point where she blended into high society instead of just trying to hide within it, she got herself piano, flute and violin lessons. Piano is a pretty standard instrument in the homes and event halls of the rich, and she frequently uses it to impress high profile guests. Violin is equally respectable and easily portable. She learned the flute as an extra “in case” instrument, one that is still acceptable, but a little more unexpected and unique for clients that might appreciate that. In short, it’s all about strategy for her.

Rampart: She can play happy birthday with armpit farts. (She has been banned from doing this at parties. Except for Octane’s, he encourages it). She also is like those guys that play things like jingle bells by shooting different metal disks in bumfuck nowhere. I love her.

Mary: Pan flute. She learned it for DND as a young teenager. Has dressed up as a woodland elf for Halloween multiple times. Will play funny tunes at seemingly inappropriate times as a way to cheer people up; it almost always works.

Fuse: We know that dude shreds the electric guitar 100 percent. Plays exclusively old fucker music. A favorite at parties.

Valkyrie: Never bothered to learn, can play literally nothing. She can keep a beat just fine and dance pretty well, but she had other things to dedicate her time to and neither of her parents were musically inclined.

Seer: He’s one of those people that can just pick up an instrument and play it; all the traditional ones, some less mainstream like the oboe or something. Had done jaw harp duets with Octane. A virtuoso. Would probably be able to play even more instruments than he already can if he stopped playing so much pinball in his spare time.

Aster the non magic human who got pulled into twisted wonderland a few years before MC. He's 27 and he had actually died back in whatever dimension he belonged to but now he's in this whack ass world alive and technically well. Crowley uses him to do tasks that he's either too busy to do or just didn't want to and he's gotten pretty used to the day to say goings-on at the school. He's stubborn and talks and very much like "fuck them kids" when something happens. He also back talks and out right refuses to do shit at times. He's very much a self indulgent oc X3 so potentially not lore friendly

Aster (nicknamed: Ash) throwing an absolute fit because he can't get a God damn energy drink in this fuck ass world

He's very much a "this is fucking stupid, I'm leaving." Type

He keeps to the "shadows" and out of public view of the students. The only ones who really knows he exists are older students who were there when he showed up and the staff and no ones really allowed to talk about it. Of course, rumors make their rounds about a supposed urban legend that involves Aster. Crowley tends to keep him close. Why? Aster shrugs "I don't know. Cause he's fucking weird?"

He's just trying to enjoy his lunch but he's being bothered by more busy work

At some point after MC shows up Aster makes more appearances in the public eye to help out as like a weird form of kinship but absolutely does peace out when shit gets too annoying

Crowley really has no real power over him cause any like thinly veiled threat is responded with "okay, and?" Funny enough the one who seems to hold the leash is Crewel since he figured out the trick so to speak. Aster still back talks and grumbles but he usually gets whatever is asked of him done without issue. He isn't happy about it! He definitely isn't happy about being praised and being called a good boy!! He isn't a dog God damn it!!

Aiden Jordan: a quick history aka my boooooooyyy

He is Shang but like, TS4. I love him. I will cry when he dies. He’s been such a fun mess. Like, I honestly did not expect any of this but he is the reason I installed Wicked Whims... because the bed is not the appropriate place for someone who is quite literally banging his way through Selvadorada.

Aiden was always intended to be my explorer. His traits make him an interesting sort of dude: Loves Outdoors, Charismatic, Cute, Child of Nature, Adventurous. I have a soft spot for adventurous sims. I’ve done jack all with Selvadorada, so he was my guy. I was going into those temples, damn it!

Poor Aiden got sidelined because Olivia went to Uni, so his teen years were a blur. I tried to get him a girlfriend or something, anything, but there were too few girls and zero chemistry. So he has dated almost exclusively Selvadoradian ladies (with one Sulani sidepiece) his entire life. It’s all right. It kept things from getting messy.

Or should have. He met Samanta Robles the first time he arrived and was instantly taken with how hot she was. She was one of his first conquests. Unfortunately for him, Samanta had plans. I knew from the second he got the moodlet wondering whether or not Samanta was being real or fake that she was my girl. Despite this, Aiden continued through most of his YA days tomb (and WOMB) raiding nonplussed.

Until Samanta sat him down and was like “so, what’re we going to do about this pregnancy problem?” I hadn’t really intended for Aiden to marry but I was banking on at least one of his girls getting knocked up. But my guy was careful, way more than I thought he’d be. So Samanta was a pleasant surprise! 

Samanta moved in, because Aiden may be casual, but he’s not a total jerk. They didn’t become exclusive. Not even after Maximo was born. But that won’t stop Samanta. She didn’t claw her way out of Selvadorada to be some guy’s baby mama. Homegirl has plans. She’s Mischevious, Bad-Natured, Envious... most importantly she’s hot and smart.

for example i could say Einführungsveranstaltungsteilnehmer (which is not underlined with red by tumblr because it is a grammatically correct compound word (i think that‘s what they‘re called?)) which is the words introduction + event + participant, so that word just means “participant of an introductory event“ but instead it‘s one word? i hope that makes sense? dkdkkdksks i mean it makes sense in german but idk if it makes sense to you cause idk if i‘m explaining it very well lmao,

I used to watch all of my series in German (like H2O) bc obviously they were on german tv so they were german- and i knew that most of these actors i saw on tv were american and i was always SO fascinated that they all learned german for this show??? Sollux breathes a sigh of relief as the lights and cameras and monitors, one by one, click off, leaving the room gently lit with the glow of Feferi’s fairy lights strung up around the room. From behind him, a pair of arms wrap around his shoulders, the pink glitter on the nails softly shimmering. He greets her with a kiss on the hand, and soon he’s curled up with his boyfriend and girlfriend in bed. These nights are more common now, all of them legal adults in one house under the artificial stars of the LA sky.

“Eridan? Can you do that thing you do?” Feferi whispers, careful if for no more reason than to not break the soft stillness of the darkening room.

“What do you mean, dear?”

“The way you recite poems. You know, when I can’t sleep.” Sollux murmurs, lisp just peeking through.

Sollux can feel Eridan start to blush, even in the warm darkness.

“I... didn’t know you both..remembered it that much. If you’d like though, I’ll try.”

Eridan’s voice settles like a melody in the room, gentle and lyrical around the delicate words.

Sollux realizes that his hand is interlaced with Eridan’s, Feferi’s draped overtop. He doesn’t remember doing it. It is second nature to him, the soft affection of being present. The lights glimmer down to nothing. A peacable, if early, night. There is a sense of contentment, of a longing fufilled- one that he hadn’t known he’d had.

Eridan remembers, absentmindedly, while saying words that he knows by heart. He remembers the grating harshness of loneliess- of wanting, so badly, to be fixed by another that he could not fix himself. He remembers the fear of realizing the way he loved was different. He can still feel the weight of all he has left to say, the idea of coming out to an audience built on dregs of rejection and rejecting hangs like the sword of Damacles over his head, but it is easier here. The world seems softer, wrapped in the gentleness of favourite blankets and the light of a waning moon.

Feferi has always wanted to do what’s right. She knows that she can’t always know what’s best for everyone, but she still feels guilt at every percieved slight. She loves too deeply, too fiercely, Eridan used to tell her, with too solemn an expression for such a young face. She had a heart big enough for the entire world. She knows that she wants to come out on her own terms- a teen starlet who’s pan and polyamorous is hot news to pick up, after all. She’s scared to, of course- she knows that a part of her soul will still be the little girl she once was, starving for affection, but she’s growing. Learning. And in the arms of the two boys she loves, she feels as though, for a moment, the entire world is right.

Learning the boundaries of their relationship when it was new wasn’t quite easy. it wasn’t something any of them had ever done before. Feferi was the one to suggest it first- it would break her heart, after all, to break either of theirs. They hated each other at first- rivals over a girl, tale as old as time. Still, it slowly simmered and faded. Sollux saw the walls of protection fall when Eridan brought Feferi a dozen pink roses, eyes not competing, but earnest. Eridan saw the bravado collapse when Feferi fell from the branch of a tree while filming and Sollux rushed to her side, eyes wide, hoping she was alright, begging her to never do that again. An understanding turned to an alliance, and an alliance turned to love. It was December, and they were sitting together at Feferi’s insistence, hot cocoa and a book to while the night away. Eridan read in the same voice, and at the ending, he left a feather-light kiss brushed over Sollux’s lips- and Sollux pulled him back in.

It was a warm night, cozy and cooled by the breath of autumn in the air, and there they lay together, lulled to sleep by the melody of a love poem and the gentlie chimes of wind on glass, Sollux’s heart filled to bursting with love for his sweethearts. There was a gentle, whispered, goodnight.

Day 2 (11th of February) - “That might just be the least romantic thing you’ve ever said to me” @buddietinesweek

Love sick

Buck was waiting on his doctor to come back with his results. She'd said his throat looked irritated then took a swab.

He wasn't feeling too hot. Or, well that wasn't the right way of putting it. He felt like his skin was on fire to top off his throat hurting.

"Mr. Buckley." She pulled him out of his phone where he was watching short videos while he was alone to try cheering himself up.

"Just Buck is fine." Buck forced a smile once he finished coughing.

"Well, your results came back as streptococcal pharyngitis. Strep throat. That's what's causing your fever. We'll get you on some oral antibiotics." At buck's gulping which made him wince she continued.

 "I'd advise you need to avoid others for a few weeks at the least. You can come back in a week or so for a checkup though. I'm sure you already know not to share any fluids with others." At buck's nod she went on.

 "Be sure to keep as clean as you can as it can be passed on easily to those around you through sneezing and coughing. The nurse at the front desk can take your insurance and set up where you want your prescription to go before you leave. You didn't have any questions sir?"

"But Valentine's in less than a week." Buck groaned.

"I'm sure you're partner would like to stay healthy and you wouldn't want to pass it on to people you love." She said.

"Yeah, yeah. I don't have to like it." Buck huffed as he got up to go.

This was just great. His first Valentine's day with Eddie since last year when they got together after it had already passed. Buck couldn't catch a break. But he'd be damned if he let himself infect Christopher and Eddie with this. He felt miserable and he wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

His trip out towards his jeep and eventually to the store for cleaning supplies and comfort food while waiting for his drugs was a blur. Christopher told him about his day after Eddie got home along with Eddie saying what they'd gotten up to at work. Buck replied when he could until he was snoring.

"Daddy, i think buck fell asleep." Christopher whispered.

"Yeah. Say good night."

Christopher did then handed back the phone.

Eddie went to his room. He'd put Christopher to sleep in another half hour. He left the call connected even if someone else might find it odd. Buck was his boyfriend so he could do that right?

He'd fall asleep to the sound of Buck once he put Christopher to bed a few minutes later.

It was valentine's day. Outside of Maddie and Chimney coming over to check up on him his place was still quarantined.

Buck sat alone in his apartment as his favorite show was ending.

Eddie hadn't said much about today during their nightly check ins with Christopher too.

The door opened to Eddie bringing in a pizza.

Buck watched as a Sims game booted up on his console.

"Okay?" He still didn't get it.

"At least one version of me can kiss you tonight. Come on, we're gonna make you first. Think this game says they even got supernatural stuff in it too." Eddie started on the character creation.

Buck found it entirely hilarious but also incredibly thoughtful. With Eddie's character finished and them looking for passable doppelgangers they began the game.

They kissed as a fire started in the kitchen only for the fire department to show up and save them.

Eddie had them get in the hot tub as music was playing. It was nice until their random visiting neighbor died summoning death.

"Okay this is just weird now." Buck said as he flirted with the grim reaper making Eddie jealous.

"How could you cheat on me with death?" Eddie asked incredulously.

"I just did it. Relax it’s not like I really like them. Oh." Buck watched his avatar hug death.

"I'm a werewolf?!" Eddie asked as the moon rose transforming him.

"Dude. Death just proposed to me and I turned them down for you. Wait, now I'm a zombie?"

Eddie turned off the game after that.

"Okay. Maybe that wasn't a good idea."

"No. It was great. I haven't laughed like that all week. Real me would never cheat on you, you're it for me." Buck leaned in absentmindedly as Eddie smiled before remembering and leaning away.

"Want another slice?" Eddie got up.

"Yeah. I can't have you in me so I guess I'll just have to settle for that." Buck joked startling Eddie to drop his plate into the sink.

"Buck you can't just say that.I’m only human, it’s hard not jumping your bones babe. But I'm glad you're feeling better." Eddie said while taking the second controller and moving it before sitting back down.

"The second I'm cleared of the zombie virus I'm gonna be all over you." Buck said devouring his food with fervor.

"I look forward to it. But until then this is a good date because I'm spending it with you." Eddie said drinking his lime soda before enjoying another slice.

"I owe Christopher hugs and kisses too so he's first then I'm all yours." Buck winked.

"All mine you say, hmm. I like the sound of that. The things we could do." Eddie raised his eyebrow.

"Just keep that thought for a few more days and hope my doctor tells me I'm all good." Buck grinned.

"You're more than good." Eddie said.

They were back to it now watching an action movie.
