⠀♡ ˖ ࣪ ༘⠀ miguel sat beside you as you open your presents. him and your dad collecting the wrapping and tissue paper, throwing them in a trash bag. some of your nieces and nephews play with them.

⠀♡ ˖ ࣪ ༘⠀ once the place was cleaned up with everyone’s help and they left, miguel could finally give you your present. returning to the living room with a small basket in his hands.

a crochet bouquet of your favorite flowers in your favorite color. in the middle, a tiny box.

“aww, miguel…” your heart melts at his gift. gently touching the petals of crochet flowers before your eyes drift down towards the tiny box. grabbing and opening it, a golden locket.

inside the locket is one of the pictures you and miguel took in a photo booth at a fair. you’re kissing his cheek, cupping it with a hand.

a very thin layer of tears in your eyes. miguel knew they were happy tears. he helps you put on the locket before pulling you into another embrace.

“happy birthday, mi alma.” he whispers softly, his hand gently stroking your hair.

“gracias, osito.” you whisper back.

Why Blitzø Likes Stolas

I've made jokes about Blitzø liking Stolas bcuz his type is tall, rich, powerful demons with musical talent, and that's probably kinda true, but I wanna talk about the real reasons Blitzø likes Stolas. Tldr at the end.

I think one of the major reasons Blitzø likes Stolas is how kind, sincere, and affectionate he is. Stolas is always making sure he is okay and is very passionate about litterally everything he does (dramatic little bitch, lol). And while he's ignorant ("my impish little plaything"???), he does mean well. Taking Octavia to Looloo Land to make her feel better, Going full demon mode to save IMP, his attentiveness to Blitzø during his mental breakdown in Seeing Stars, him absolutely adoring Octavia, him helping Ozzie when he gained no real benefit, etc, etc.

Also, expanding more on the affectionate part, Blitzø is shown to not get much affection or love in his life at all. His family situation was a giant mess (his dad literally sold him for 5 bucks and a condom Jesus Christ-), and Stolas is a very loving and affectionate person. Obviously, this is shown with Blitzø, but also with Octavia ('my precious little starfire', always staying patient with Via, even if he can be a bit dismissive, going full demon mode when Blitzø said he lost Via), and even his plants (he raised the flesh-eating plant since he was a kid, he pets the plant, on his insta he called a puprle rose "a handsome little rose"). And yeah, he's going to be affectione with Via, that's his daughter, but in Hell, (or maybe just from Blitzø's perspective, it'a hard to tell honestly) that's shown to be a rarity. So obviously, he's going to admire that about him.

And also, compare that to Blitzø's life. His dad saw him as less than, something happened that made his sister hate him, his mom seemed to be a good parent, but she's dead, his best friend and former crush hated his guts for 15 years, his daughter does care about him but she also mostly just shows anger and annoyance with him, and even Moxxie, who'd I'd argue is his best friend, gets annoyed with him constantly (I would too tbh but this isn't about that). Stolas just being his loving and affectionate self and being so happy to see him and always being so sweet to Blitzø is like a breath of fresh air to him.

Another thing is that Stolas shows clear interest in the things he likes. Take horses as example, bcuz we all know Blitzø is obsessed with them. Most of the time, his friends are pretty passive about it, but Stolas actually indulges him. Some of this is from their instas, but Stolas got him a horse Hoodie, he draws horses with him, and Stolas even got inspired to draw because of Blitzø.

(Also, plz note that in another post he commented that it smells like Stolas, and I want everyone to appreciate how happy he looks in this photo while smelling it again)

Blitzø probably admires Stolas's theatrics as well because despite growing up in a Circus where you were supposed to be dramatic and showy, he was still always taught to ignore or hide his true emotions (Cash ignoring that he didn't want to go to the Goetia Palace because "MONEY"). And while Stolas was raised the same way, he still wears his heart and emotions on his sleeve and is always showing them, whether it be positive or negative

And we all know thst Blitzø has major self hatred issues, but Stolas was genuinely interested in Blitzø as a person. Laughing at his jokes, asking how his day went, and with all of this, you can't help but wonder if Blitzø was figuring out that he did too. I think that's why he was so heartbroken about Ozzie's. Because to him, Stolas hiding his face was just proof that Stolas didn't care. That he was just a little plaything. But, Blitzø liked that Stolas liked him for who he was, and that he didn't have to pretend to be someone different.

Yes, ik Blitzø wasn't here for some of them, and he thinks that Stolas is just faking all of this. BUT, Blitzø can notice things subconsciously, and the stuff that Blitzø wasn't there for was to talk about Stolas's character as well. That's why I wanted to talk about this, to talk about what Blitzø sees in Stolas and his character.

you remember flinching at this. you remember how hurt and indignant you felt at the time. you also remember the silent treatment you gave him, and the cold war that began shortly thereafter. he apologized afterwards, of course, but you had asked him what was so bad about you that he couldn’t just believe that yeonjun had changed for you. he was silent at this, which only made you even more angry. it was all pointless in the end, you suppose.

as you sit on beomgyu's couch, your phone rings again. you have a special ringtone for yeonjun, so you don’t even bother to check the caller id before you silence it. he’s been calling you incessantly since you texted him that you saw the picture and were done with him. your face is downcast and if you weren't so consumed by your sadness, you'd notice the faint look of delight in beomgyu’s eyes.

“i think you should just block him,” he says as nonchalantly as he can muster. maybe in another state of mind, you'd register the satisfaction in his tone, but right now? all you can sense is his urgency, which can easily be explained away by selfless and sincere concern. just how he likes it.

FIRST OFF, THESE IMAGESSSSS, THEY’RE ACTUALLY SO CUTE I LOVE JULIE’S CHRISTMAS TREE HAIR SO MUCH 😭 AND THE THIRD PHOTO IS SO CUTE?? LOOK AT THEM ALL TOGETHER, THEY’RE ALL LIKE A LITTLE FAMILY IT’S ADORABLE ☹️

AND THE ARTSTYLE IS SO PRETTY, LITERALLY I LOVE CLOWNS STYLE SO MUCH.

it was really nice to hear more about howdy’s family, AND THERE IS SO MANY OF THEM, HIS FAMILY IS ACTUALLY MASSIVE, I loved all their voices and character designs so much, they were all great, I WAS SURPRISED WE GOT TO HEAR ALL THEIR VOICES TOO, I was completely blown away from this update

THE LORE WE GOT ON EDDIE TOO WAS ACTUALLY CRAZY.

I felt so bad for the guy he was so stressed and exhausted from everything, it was also really sad to see how he was getting frustrated / upset when nobody was coming to visit him 😕 FRANK KEEP YOUR BOYFRIEND COMPANY PLEASE…

It was also really nice to see how worried Frank was for Eddie when Eddie was zoning out, THEY WERE SO WORRIED FOR HIM, I ACTUALLY STARTED CRYING NEAR THE END OF THE 22 MINUTE VIDEO, THE ANGST FOR EDDIE WAS SO SAD, ESPECIALLY THE PART WHERE FRANK STARTED TO WORRY.

anyways, that’s all I have to say for this update, I literally loved it so much and this is definitely my favourite update so far, the voice actors, animators and clown did such a good job with this update and it was definitely worth the extra wait 🩷

the day started with you two hand-in-hand walking down the streets to the train station, your luggage's rolling behind you.

he had a convinence store cream cake in one hand, and you had yours as you hurried around, nervous yet excited for what was to happen later. the morning dew and blooming flowers the only witness to the anxious affection you shared.

you arrived early to the wedding styling boutique, snapping a quick selfie of megumi before going off to do get your makeup and hair done. a gorgeous pristine white flower clip is laid in your hair. you looked breathtaking.

megumi chose to go simple, a traditional black kimono adorned him as he admired himself in the mirror.

you wore a wedding kimono, a seamstress behind helping you put on the multiple layers of clothes, finished off with pink accents. a white veil was put over your face, no others except for megumi were to see you until the end of the ceremony.

megumi thought you looked gorgeous, his heart thumping erratically as he looked over you. he helped you in the car as you two were taken to the venue.

you arrived at the shrine, taking gorgeous photos of yourself and megumi, paying respects to the most sacred place inside.

you underwent the marriage rituals, uniting your families, reciting your vows to the gods, and giving offerings to them.

you exchanged your rings, a stupid smile on megumi's face as you did so.

you witnessed and partook in the ancient dances and music, it served as another offering to the gods.

finally, you were able to have a lunch with megumi and his found family. enjoying a once in a lifetime meal that filled you, not only hunger wise but also emotionally.

megumi took you to an expensive hotel, just the two of you. you had your own private onsen, drinks and snack provided as you spent your first night as newlyweds admiring the view (of megumi).

you woke up with megumi, entangled together in the large bed layered with silk sheets. his hair was messier than usual, his eyes still closed as the morning light shined through to greet you.

the knock at the door startled him awake, you went to open it and accept the grand breakfast with gratitude.

you ate your first huge breakfast together, megumi still grumpy from sleep.

you spread whipped cream on his nose, making him scrunch his face up in mock annoyance. as your laughs ringed across the room, he was happy to know that these great days were what would fill the rest of his life.
