Does anyone know if there's a name for the sound a straw makes when you suck on it and there's barely any liquid in the cup?

You know the one

The sound that you make on purpose to bother everyone else at the table

That sound that's placed in the middle of an awkward pause

The one that your parents would tell you not to make in fancy restaurants

I don't care in what language, there has to be a name for it

This sound is universal

that answer is indeed Not Ready Yet! but in short, he has a Really bad time after he wakes up. like, it's Rough rough for him. and before anyone asks - no, it's not because of the arm! that is something he can understand, even if its a lil unsettling. everything Else, however...

#not-a-post #how nice it is to have an exact divide between morning and afternoon #I wish there was better distinction between afternoon and evening and night #because evening is still AFTER noon #and so is night until 12 am #and 12 am is considered night but it's technically the morning #Hence why we should replace evening to afterfive and night with afterten #morning can also be afterfive except it's the am five and not the pm five #that way all the clarification is eliminated and we're once more confused about the day's divisions

my mom got a liver transplant. so that’s kinda cool.

#jk I’m stoked.#jk the only thinking it’s cool part. not jk to the transplant. that’d be a fucked up joke.#it’s super cool. awesome even.#so it was my little bro’s 16th birthday AND my mom got a new liver AND I went to the zoo!#long long day #she was in surgery from like 5 a.m. till early afternoon #so I took my brother to the zoo for his birthday and it was a really nice time #should note at that point we knew she was doing okay.#she was mostly done but no visitors yet.#I wouldn’t have gone to look at the penguins if I was still worrying about her #so… yeah!#she was looking ROUGH afterwards. still was when I left earlier.#can’t spend the night because her hospital is an hour away and I’ve gotta take care of my bros and the animals at home #I hate seeing her all beat up #I know she’s technically ‘doing great’ but she was so out of it and in pain and I didn’t know what to do #scary. sad. angry at my sister for not coming to see her.#…. lotsa stuff! in my brain house!#okay anyway and then I went out to eat with my brothers and drove an hour home #good day #okay anyway sorry to bother you #you can ignore this #text

something i’ve been thinking about is how people feel like they have to be overly nice to people on here to make anyone like them, to the point of refusing to speak about things that aren’t sunshine and rainbows and i just want to say that you shouldn’t have to basically kiss people’s asses and act like a “mom friend” to make people like you. you should be able to voice your opinions on things without worrying about whether people are gonna like it or not (i don’t mean like causing drama or posting pointless callout shit), because if people don’t like that you’re pointing out stuff that needs attention brought to it, they aren’t worth following in the first place. basically, just don’t be afraid to speak your mind. at the end of the day, the people on this hellsite are just people on the internet you don’t know and you shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells around strangers lol.

#this may be why i feel like people kind of avoid me but oh well. i’ve spent far too long trying to make strangers on the internet happy and #it made me exhausted and unhappy as a result. i realize that i am an acquired taste and i don’t blame anyone for not liking me if they don’t #all this to say that i don’t go out of my way to be an asshole or unapproachable or anything like that! i just believe in being honest ans #completely transparent with people. though i would never go out of my way to be a dick to anyone. idk if any of this made any sense but yeah #lol. anyway- thanks for reading my pointless ass rambles. hope y’all are having a nice day/afternoon/night!#mobile.
