I’ve been rereading Farseer Trilogy (and midway through the Liveship Trilogy) by Robin Hobb, which means that in my downtime I’m doodling Farseer babies.

For Fitz (seen her as child, preteeny) I needed a faceshape that could be replicated as distinctly Farseer for other family members, (as mentioned in the book it must be a distinct face) and my own personal drive to not just draw ‘basic fantasy man face’.

Eventually it might be fun to do something with the designs, (I have more characters in my sketchbook, will probs share later) but for now it’s just something for fun on the side. But yet I still can’t help but treat it as a design exercise XD

pls talk about deku i miss him

i miss him too HGDAJHFS i miss having wips for him my brain is out of deku ideas but i do really think a lot about "no internal monologue" deku who like........ is always speaking out loud and just like holds u close and says "so pretty, so soft" whenever he cuddles u i think that is very nice

also i've had the funny thought of like... we both know deku is really observant but what if it goes terribly? like what if deku is like "oh!! they love flowers!!" and he gives you a bouquet of flowers.... you happen to be allergic to. no biggie, he'll make it up with sweets but the chocolate melts in his car because he forgot to take it out before patrol. he takes you on a picnic but it rains the whole time because he thought the rain was coming sunday not saturday and of course he forgot the umbrella but luckily you have one even though its kinda small. he takes you out to dinner but the restaurant is SWAMPED and they lost his renovation so he takes you to some weird hole in the wall place (kacchan recommended it, its really good because of course it is, he doesn't eat shit food) but you're both wildly overdressed for it.

Steve being convinced (read: forced) by the highschool drama teacher to play the part of "King" in a production, not a speaking role, his job is to just... look the part, look down upon his subjects from a throne, sit above them, powerful, regal, with the side note that he has to maintain that air of disinterest through the whole thing until he's 'assassinated/usurped'.

he only says yes because he was promised an automatic pass if he did it, as no-one else could really fit and maintain the look the teacher had envisioned.

and Eddie Munson, playing the role of court jester, putting his whole jestussy into making Steve crack both his character, and a smile.

because Steve wouldn't get his automatic pass if he broke character, and Eddie feels it's his sworn duty to not let King Steve coast through school on his good looks.

im sitting here wondering how the ADA would react to skks dynamic in canon. cus like..... I don't think ANYONE from the ADA has ever actually seen Dazai and Chuuya in the same room. and the way Dazai talks to and teases Chuuya is SO DIFFERENT than how he behaves with the people at the ADA that I feel like they'd get fucking whiplash from it.
