I played in the rain - I splashed, jumped and kicked in every puddle (muddy and non). I had a few bits of the tree in my hair because I also shook the branches to make more rain 💙

Sacred Spring of Gawton's Well - Staffordshire - England

The site with the spring, voted one of the most mystical places and certainly one of the most atmospheric of Staffordshire’s ancient wells, is found on the remains of the Kynpersley Estate. It fills at first an elliptical stone basin, then a small rectangular basin and then a larger one which could have formed a bath. There is a semi-circular stone just after this and it then flows through a number of large rocks forming a stream. The site has an excellent arrangement: the juxtaposition between the man-made and the natural.

The oval stand of yews around the well is reputed to be the remains of a druidic grove, and although these specimens must be considerably younger than that, perhaps they are the descendants of those long forgotten trees.

The Biddulph Museum website (which also describes the site as a “Druid Grove”) tells this story:

Gawton / Gorton was one of the servants of Knypersley Hall when he became ill with the plague. Due to everyone thinking they would fall ill he was forced to leave. He left and went to live in a cave (Gawton’s Stone) near Knypersley pool.

Nearby was a spring which is known as Gawton’s Well which is where he bathed every day. He also used the spring for his drinking water. The spring was believed to have the power to heal skin diseases by the locals and apparently cured Gawton of the plague.

Even though he was now healed he continued to stay at the cave and lived there till his death.

The thermal spring water of Fiuggi Fonte Bonifacio VIII reopens its doors.

The town of Fiuggi, located south of Rome, boasts the presence of two thermal springs, Fonte Bonifacio VIII and Fonte Anticolana, which have given rise to one of the largest and oldest thermal complexes in Italy, with ancient origins.

Fiuggi is one of the most important hot spring resort towns in Europe. It has two beautiful parks and is known for its healing mineral springs that flow from Fonte Bonifacio VIII and Fonte Anticolana.

The sources reopen after a period of stasis with a wholly redesigned new look. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Boniface VIII Spring will take place on April 1st, according to the new management who recently took over the water bottling, golf course, and Anticolana spring.

This is a long-awaited piece of news in the city for all the local economic actors. The seasonal reopening of the hot springs symbolizes the start of the city's economic engine. It's linked to an allied industry with dozens of hotels, businesses, and workers.

The new owners of the Terme di Fiuggi, the entrepreneurs Stirpe, Borgomeo, Battisti, and Benedetto, have kept to the schedule announced at the press conference at the beginning of the year, proposing the same operational goals that characterize the Fiuggi facilities. The golf course is already accessible, the Bonifacio VIII spring will be opened on April 1st, and the Anticolana spring traditionally will open its doors on June 1st.

As announced by the new ownership, there won't be any profound changes or upheavals inside the park. But there will be a profound innovation in the services offered and a lot of investment in the historical relationship between the spa and the medical and scientific world.

Satisfaction and gratitude also for the staff employed during the other months and until the planned closure foresees between October and November.

In short, it's good news. It restores confidence and strengthens the work of the categories, which look forward with great hope to revitalize the thermal industry.

Fun fact. Pope Boniface VIII claimed his kidney stones had been healed by the mineral waters from the Fiuggi springs.

So I saw a few posts describing how the Pit’s in Jason’s body kinda acted on its own accord when spotting Danny “baby ghost” Phantom/Fenton and how they then co-parent with a half dead “baby” teenager.

But I raise YOU the idea that the Pits is already parenting Jason Todd.

When the Pits take over it’s the simple response of a Mama Bear going feral on some humans for making their little baby upset.

Jason disappointed by Batman?

The Pits snarl and rage at the man that made baby sad!

Jason disgusted at the idea of another Robin lined up for death?

The Pits howl and claw through the skin to fix the situation by beating the humans up so they can’t die!

Jason vulnerable and lost by the lack of acceptance in his return as Red Hood?

The Pits screech, biting furiously into the humans that had caused the baby to feel un-included in their games!

No one understands the reason for the Lazarus Pit’s in Jason’s body to constantly be acting up, that is until Danny comes into the picture and is like, “So your ghost parent is always watching you too, huh?” In reference to his own ghost parent (Clockwork) that likes to watch through his little tv’s on what Danny gets up to and sends a multitude of sticky notes like a distant helicopter mom.
