I’m a mother of four beautiful children: Batoul, Aseel, Bahaa, and Leen. They once dreamed of toys, school, and laughter. Now… they cry themselves to sleep, hungry and terrified. The war in Gaza has taken everything from us.

Our home was bombed and reduced to rubble. My husband, Ahmad, has been missing for weeks — we don’t know if he’s alive or gone forever. I suffer from a chronic illness and cannot afford my treatment. We have no shelter, no income, and my children haven’t had a full meal in days.

All I want is to find a safe place for my kids — where they can sleep without fear, eat without worry, and live like children should.

Am I going crazy?

Okay I've been looking for this one Martian Manhunter comic; it's about these three different people who show up on a pilgrimage to Mars (They're all from different alien species), one of them is a telepathic blade of grass, his people are named for the sound the wind makes as it rustles the grass, humans almost wiped them out before J'onn got there and saved them and forced people to recognise their autonomy. The second... uh Idk, there's another alien too but I forget their story. The third is from a misguided alien warrior people, J'onn saved them from aggressors by fighting them off so they took the wrong lesson and decided to become a militant people when in reality what J'onn loved most about their people was their dancing. Anyway the three of them come together after telling their stories of why they've come here/what Martian Manhunter did for them and the fairy-like dancer alien emerges from his mechanical armour AND dances for his new friends. And the art pans out so you can see the giant desert the three little figures are standing on form an image of J'onn's face smiling.
