And the Angel said ‘Be not afraid’ but Shrike was no Angel and thus he spoke, in a soft voice:  “Walk with me.” 

But not to be unafraid; for that would be unwise and untrue in face of reality. 

In fact, it was impossible to not freeze under such a gaze — harder to tell what was sharper in that figure, the icy eyes or the pure feathers. Like glittering snow under a white sun, shimmering iridescence that caught at the smallest movement, as if a marble statue had come to life, the wings that decorated and moved behind his back were nothing short of the word perfect. Immaculate. 

Unmarred, smooth pale skin, looking paler even with the contrast of dark clothing made the figure even more ethereal, as if someone had covered Rodin’s work with diaphanous Stygian fabric. Once you stood in front of him, it was impossible to move unless invited to do so. The kind of presence that not only commanded attention; with the wingspan of a gargantuan raptor bird and the eyes that held one in place like prey; but a face so beautiful not even a mother could love it. Untouchable. It couldn’t even make one shake in fear because drawing a single breath might draw those slit pupils their way; scared of even letting their heart beat, lest Shrike hear it and decide the sound is too offending. 

But as The White Death stepped down from his throne  — his perch  — he looked at peace. Merely the very last tips of the longer feathers at the end of his wings barely grazing the floor, like a cape made of the most sacrilegious material. Taloned fingertips clacking against the hardwood flooring (clack, clack, clack) and then cold fingers wrapped in plain silvery jewelry wrapping around their chin, forcing a terrified gaze up between a thumb and a forefinger; all too gentle but with the impossible sharp tip of a talon pressing over skin and threatening to break through. No, not threatening. Promising.

There was none more beautiful; none more violent under the thin veneer of purity. With wavy silver strands of hair falling over that gentle face and the eye markings that painted the sharp angles along eye lines. 

Forced to meet that cruel, emotionless gaze. “I said, and don’t make me repeat myself, walk with me.”

Siblings Behavior

It's shenanigans time guys

So have this DpxDc idea.

So, the Justice League and the Light (OR villains in general) have two newish members, they've both been around for about a year and they're from the same plane of existence (a place called the Infinite Realms according to those who dabble in the occult)

And the two seem to have some serious beef with each other.

Wisp and Wrath are basicly feral cats hissing and hekles raised when they spot the other and their fights normally ends in draws. They're evenly matched and sometimes the two even fight to the point they are out of steam and just fist fight.

Needless to say everyone believes they totally hate each other and might one day kill (or end?) One of them.

So everything gets turned upside down when suddenly both factions of heros and villains are suddenly summoned to the Infinite Realms.

In a throne room.

In front of the Infinite King (or most commonly known as the Ghost King)

A King who looks very, very much like Wisp and Wrath (like yeah the two do sometimes look alike, like when they grin with sharp teeth and their hair color, but one has blue skin and red eyes for crying out loud!)

He's staring at them, glowing green eyes that seemed to just... know.

"Welcome to the Infinite Realms. I am King Phantom." His voice echoing in the throne room and seemed to rattle them deeply, like a sudden chill in the early morning.

"I have summoned you all here for a single reason." He continued to say "Tell me..."

Here he paused, closed his eyes before leaning back on the chair then he smiled big and cheerfully asked.

"How are my kids doing in your world? Dan and Ellie aren't causing too much chaos in their wake are they? They tend to go a tiny bit overboard sometimes but what siblings don't when they rough house you know. Tell me everything."

So I’ve been joking for a while about how Inko manages to afford all of Izuku’s AM merch

But I decided to nerd out and look closer, and I’m pretty sure the only expensive piece Izuku owns is the poster he got from Sir

You might think his dorm looks absolutely stacked

but that’s only because it’s a very small room and he brought every piece he owns

If you look in his old room it’s all the same posters

so he’s owned it all for at least a few years, he’s been working up to this for god knows how many years, just to be the proud owner of 5 posters so basic even he would put tape on them

All of his figures are less than 50$

One of which he’s had since he was a child

And it doesn’t look like the other unidentified figures are anything special either(except maybe AM in his yellow suit)

Izuku only has generic fanboy shit, like maybe one of the posters is a custom but I honestly I don’t think he owns a single special anything

The dead guy poster is 100% the coolest thing he has, no wonder he’s so reverent about it 💀

So yeah Inko isn’t dropping stacks on merch, I’m pretty sure those sweaters were a 2 for 1 deal because they’re almost identical 💀
