It feels utterly criminal that I've waited over a year since first drawing/coming up with her before even posting anything of her and now I'm dumping it all at once! 😭
This is Jayce's drider ex, Leticia, an aerial dancer, who he first met going to a club with his tracker buddies to celebrate his big untrackable find. Wanting to look cool with them, but immediately falls in love instead lmao. She was not convinced his feelings were genuine for a while at first, due to either fetishized or teased for being half spider (even with being an empath herself), but he was adamant about having his feelings known and she eventually caved to his affections and they were together for several years...
Eventually she was wanting to settle down and didn't like how dangerous his job was as a tracker and things got a bit rough towards the end. He didn't want to stop tracking, but he promised her one last mission where he might not need to anymore if he could find and open the coffer and release ancient magic for the world again, something that would benefit everyone!
She thought he had ideals of grandeur too high to achieve and she went to stay with her folks for a bit, and then...
Jayce went missing for 5 years...
She assumed eventually that he had passed and had to move on herself. She met someone else and started a family and has her second child on the way when Jayce finally returns again, far too late to try and fix things. She still cares for him a lot, but has moved on, while it's still fairly fresh in Jayce's mind as he was in stasis most of that time missing. They both wish each other happiness, but it still hurts...

Y'all can thank @negrowhat and @27vampyresinhermind for this post because I wasn't going to watch Wandee Goodday until Wednesday, but here I am clowning while traveling with color-coded boys in love.
First, starting the episode with 69 and the yellow bananas on the purple boxers is the way I want all my shows to begin.
Especially because I feel the yellow bananas are going to be a thing for BD Yellow Yal Yak.
Next, I am fully on Team No-Kiss-on-the-Lips-until-the-Finale, so Yak being so comfortable with Dee to kiss him goodbye is the small crumbs I need to survive.
Since Yak is subtly making his way behind Dee's walls and the colors tell us this since Dee now has a little yellow light in his room by the TV.
It wasn't there before he decided to be Friends-with-Benefits with Yak.
And it's nice because as others have pointed out, Yak and Dee do seem to be actual "Friends" with benefits.
They fix things for each other, like Yak fixing the broken heart light that Dee was too busy to properly care for.
They call each other and know when the other is not doing well, but they also don't push each other to share.
And they also match colors.
Which reminds me - Is this plum, like dark purple, or brown?
Because what Ter is wearing is clearly brown, but the poster of them is purple, so I just think that Dee is already destined to win this scholarship.
But he won't go abroad
Because he will realize he is right where he needs to be.
And I think it was reinforced by Yak not taking the necklace back.
So even though Yellow Yak initially said no to fake dating and broke off their friends-with -benefits arrangement, he still allowed Dee to carry a part of him around.
And his brother and Cher understand how important that is because Yak easily handed over his name even though he fears having a public relationship. Also, I still think the brother is a Blue Boy because he is loyal and stable, but I need a moment to figure this out (when I've had more than three hours of sleep).
The boundaries and the colors are quickly shifting because Yak was black last episode and Dee was white, but this episode, as they go back-and-forth over this fake dating possibility, they switch colors.
But Dee is still a Purple Prince with his purple boxing gloves, purple hand wraps, and Yak pointing out that homeboy *should* be rich.
So even though Dee leaves in a huffy state and in blue, he is highlighted by purple lighting.
Which Yak absorbs when he decides to take Dee's hand and helps Dee cross the obstacle, together.
Which leads to Yak giving into Dee's request as he is highlighted by the yellow lights in the background.
He commits to the bit and shows up to the hospital with the purple-wrapped flowers.
And seems to fit right into Dee's life as both match the background of Dee's apartment.
Sidenote: It will never not please me that Dee's apartment building was colored purple.
So that little yellow light in the beginning of the episode to show how Yak has slowly started to integrate himself into Dee's life turns into a full-on yellow lighting attack.
They may be fake dating, but the feelings are about to be real.
And it's not because Dee is wearing Yak's yellow next week (with Yak wearing Dee's fake blue).
But because Yak has this blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment of realizing he can't distinguish between the fake and real.
"Stay True" to yourself and your feelings, Yak!

I'm so annoyed. @kingcrow01 tumblr ate your ask about Danny's opinion on the League. tumblr i pressed 'save draft' why didn't you sAVE DRAFT.
ANyways I'm making a post instead. For everyone else, the ask was in summary:
What was Danny's opinion on the League now that he's left it? If he missed the familiarity of it, if he recognized the cult-like behavior inside it, and if he now detested his grandfather.
And to answer (again, grrr): It's complicated! We love complicated <3. Yeah, Danny does miss the familiarity of the League, it was still his home for the first ten years of his life and he has a lot of memories there. Plenty of good along with the bad, and while he's less homesick than he was when he was 10, it still hits him like a truck at random intervals.
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz are great, and he likes the Drs. Fentons enough that he's contemplated murdering Vlad for his meddling, but if he wants to eat the same food his mother used to make him and Damian, he has to do it himself and he can't get the taste right. No one knows arabic so he speaks it to himself because he doesn't want to forget his mother tongue, and he has a few books too. Frankly? He genuinely misses training.
Getting to use Sam's gym helps with his restlessness, same with training with Maddie, but he has no one on or above his level to go against other than his mother. And he only sees her twice a year at most. He knows that he's getting stagnant and he fucking despises it like a bad itch he can't scratch.
He feels conflicted about missing the League, however, since by now he recognizes the flaws and what was wrong with it, and he recognizes that it was cult-like. But even that is kinda, hrm, complicated? If this was a fic I would be able to go better into depth about what he has and hasn't unlearned because cult deprogramming is hard and Danny's doing most of this on his own.
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz have helped with the more obvious stuff: like the ecofascism, the disregard for human life, his emotional constipation; the more obvious stuff that shows in his behavior and personality. But none of them are professionals nor do they actually know the full extent of what Danny's life in the League was like. They only have snapshots since Danyal is very tight lipped about it. So they can only help with what they see themselves through Danny's behavior or word of mouth.
But in summary: He sees, for the most part, what's wrong with the League and disagrees with some of the stuff they do now. But he's very conflicted, and trying to dissect his feelings on the League confuses him. His protests about it whenever Sam and Tucker joke about it have at this point become mostly empty (altho it still causes him some discomfort), and its an inside joke between them three.
As for Ra's? Despises him. If only because Ra's wanted him to kill his little brother -- thinking about his motives with the League confuses Danny, cognitive dissonance and stuff, -- a lot of his hatred stems from "He wanted me to fight my baby brother to the death. I destroyed my relationship with Damian because of him, I had to fake my death and leave my home, and I will never meet my father or see my brother again because of him. Fuck that guy."

Never getting over Stede fighting against his own selfishness even after becoming a pirate even after years of acquiescence after a lifetime of trying and failing to fit himself in the tiny box society told him was his destiny he still tries to give away his treasure orange because it’s Jim’s land he still tells Ed to Robin Hood his guilt loot he still saves his entire fuckin crew when he believes they are at least partially responsible for the death of the only person he’s ever really loved
Stede is the romantic and platonic ideal of a hero because he’s inherently a good person but he’s allowed to have flaws not just quirks but genuine flaws that make him human
It’s really no stretch to understand why Ed fell so hard so fast

I’m one of those people that entered the batfam fandom through fanfics, and then later decided to read the comics.
And holy shit. Bruce’s relationship with Dick is so bad???? Like I knew it wasn’t GOOD, but I thought it would be better than this.
And also, Dick seems to have a great relationship with Jason??? In fact, it’s JASON that is initially rude and coarse towards Dick, not the other way around. They quickly enter a brotherly relationship, and Dick gives both encouragement and approval to Jason as Robin. (I’m referencing the Nightwing: Year One Deluxe edition comic and Batman #416 which both have Jason’s first meeting with Nightwing).
Anyway, I know some new comics sometimes have stories that contradict the old ones, but I’m still surprised by canon. If anyone has insight on where the whole idea of Dick hating Jason came from, I’d love to hear it. If it’s specific comics, I’d be down to read them.
