I think people overestimate how feminist team black is. If someone brings up how Baela should be the heir to Driftmark, it's always "she would've been Queen if not for the Greens!", ignoring that 1, she would be Queen consort, not a Queen in her own right, and 2 she has a legitimate claim in her own right to Driftmark. Team Black's goal is to crown Rhaenyra, but Rhaenyra becoming Queen isn't a win for feminism because it does nothing to dismantle the rest of the patriarchal system that exists in Westeros. From what we've gotten so far, it reads that Rhaenyra wants to be the exception and not the rule. Rhaenyra has made a lot of bad political decisions, which means she can't acknowledge Baela's claim because it would weaken her own claim (blatantly admitting her eldest sons are illegitimate would not end well for her to say the least). So she betrothes Jace and Luke to Baela and Rhaena to kind of atone for that, like as a consolation prize Baela will be Queen and Rhaena will be lady of Driftmark, neither of them would hold either title in their own right. It's good matches because the kids like each other and will treat each other well, but it's not a feminist win or a feministic liberation. It's usurpation, usurpation that takes place because Rhaenyra has to do damage control after having illegitimate children and after a serious of bad political decisions (both hers and her fathers, Viserys is the arbiter of this entire mess). To me, Rhaenyra is very reminiscent of Mary Queen of Scots, I can see a lot of elements drawn from Mary's history in Rhaenyra's story and character, down to their sons eventually taking the crown they failed to claim/keep.

Everyone say one(1) nice thing about Rachel, Ethan and Al. Even you Nemesis.
Nemesis: what do you mean "even you Nemesis"?
Morpheus: In fairness, they're not too wrong.
Nemesis: Fuck you too then.
Hecate: Easy! Alabaster is one of the most stongest children I've ever had, Ethan is incredibly determined and Rachel is so strong for being able to handle all of this in such a short amount of time.
Morpheus: Alright... Rachel may annoy 90 percent of the time but i can't deny she is coping with these prophecies extremly well for someone so young. Ethan can be very cunning when necessary (a side I wish he let out more) and Alabaster does seem to care about his siblings quite a bit, especially for a son of Hecate.
Hecate: Pardon?
Nemesis: Well, Ethan is impressively selfess, Torrington knows what powers are more important to chase than others and Rachel has a lot of empathy for those around her.

I’m watching a playthrough of the classrooms right now and my god, the sound design is phenomenal.
At least I think that’s a big factor for the creepiness (of course there’s a whole lot of other factors, but this is one I don’t notice is great in other Backrooms games). The way you have to sometimes listen to very slight sound cues for particular monsters is great, not to mention how weird and alien some of them sound. The darkness entity and the ear entity are my favorite so far, just because the way they sound is basically dread in auditory form. They kind of sound both organic and mechanical and are both extremely goofy, but since the introductions are done so well, they are also extremely creepy.
Both of them have pretty simple premises: for Mr. Ear man, he can hear extremely well and will run to any small sound. That’s been done a million times. But there’s also catches in his level: for example you are first introduced to a red balloon before you are introduced to the monster (at least I think you are in most gameplays). So your instinct is either to get the hell away or pop it. Popping it then leads the monster straight to you, and either you die or narrowly avoid it, but either way you’ve learned your lesson, which is: that guy’s literally a giant fucking ear and I need to make absolutely no sound and avoid anything that will.
For the second: the Darkness guy is also very simple. Just from the name of the level, you know its premise. But personally, my favorite part about it isn’t the optical changes or loud pang when it spawns, it’s mostly the droning moan that plays when it’s near. I actually think they could’ve done without the pang and just had the blue light and low drone when it’s spawned. I think that would’ve been more effective, since it means you have to rely on very small cues to know when the dark is near.
In conclusion, a lot of other Backrooms horror games rely on either very blatant, word-for-word hints or are vague in a way that can be frustrating. I think the classrooms really excels in the show don’t tell aspect (or hear don’t tell aspect haha haha canned laughter). That’s one of the reasons why it can be so legitimately scary. Ya gotta use ya brain

I just updated my character boards for some of the DSMP characters, and I feel like I should share c!Tommy's updated physical descriptions:
Blond, Blue-Eyed British
Tommy's base appearance is pretty normal-looking for the most part, but looking at him in peripheral reveals just how off-putting he truly is.
His curly blond hair is very light, resembling something like spun sunlight. He's very easy to spot from a distance because of it, especially in the dark.
He has piercing blue eyes, the kind of pure blue that unnerves the recipient of his intense stares. In the right lighting, the blue reflects light so much that it looks like his eyes are glowing white. There's also a strange pop of red in his pupils that hints at something artificial in his veins.
Despite being an adolescent, Tommy is on the taller side, just under two meters tall. He carries himself as if he’s much smaller though. This leads to hijinks where he gets stuck after fitting himself in places he really shouldn’t be in.
Sympathetic Shapeshifter
For the most part, Tommy has a basic human appearance. However, he is clearly inhuman in origin by virtue of his ever changing hybrid traits. Tommy‘s shapeshifting is usually restricted to his ears and a tail, if applicable, but certain hallmarks of the relevant species can manifest across his body.
His shapeshifting is usually influenced by the people around him, hence sympathetic. He doesn’t seem to have much control over it.
When there’s no primary influence over his shifting, his default appearance manifests intangible horns and a demon tail, possibly due to his childhood with Eryn and Eryn’s mother, a full-blooded nether demon. The only times he doesn’t manifest anything, being completely human in appearance, are when he’s in isolation with Dream.
Resurrection Scars
When Dream uses the resurrection book, he is essentially forcefully repairing the body of the deceased and dragging the soul back into its vessel. There is nowhere near enough ambient magic in the prison cell to repair Tommy’s body the natural way, so Dream instead pulls directly from the obsidian and lava and uses the unrefined magic particles.
Tommy reawakens in his body. There are deep purple cracks where his skull was fractured and in the crevices of old scars. There is a faint orange glow emitting from just beneath his skin. He can't tell if he's overbearingly hot or if everything is so cold. He won't know it yet, but he bleeds molten gold.
