IM REALLY SAD THIS ONE DIDN'T GET IN. I even drew asriel shutting flowey in a box for this joke to work. There was going to be a visual gag of it being a "soap" box. Haha.

Asgore was originally going to tell Asriel to think of something nice to get his mind off of his panic attack.

Which, while funny, took away the feeling of intense panic the audience and asriel should have been feeling at the time. It just didn't fit the pacing/mood. It also showed that -well, i don't know if this is a legitimate grounding technique or if it'd be read as "its ok just think happy thoughts <3 then ur panic attack would end" which... is not.... how that works. Even if it was only to give Asriel a moment of respite, it's shown as effective until Asgore brings up a bad memory. So. bad comic sequence.

I had a really, really hard time balancing the tone of the scene that is currently happening in the redraw. it's why i'm so behind in my drawings, so i'm only now sketching the next couple month's updates.

This chapter has gone through SO MANY changes. I feel that comes with it being the first chapter to completely diverge from the original tumblr version.

Asriel was originally going to have a very on-the-nose nightmare about Flowey feeling excluded from the family and fearing drowning. Now, the whole darkness/water metaphor for suicidal depression will be introduced when that stuff starts to come into play in chapter 4...

i mean, just to really hammer home how much i had to delete for this: i actually did sketch out the original tumblr version here. I had it all ready before chapter 2 began posting. But as I was finishing the color for the warship section I realized, shoot, I don't wanna repeat it.

When I first made the tumblr version, i was getting burnt out and the characters just became so much... meaner? rude? to each other. some bickering or annoyance is fine but I have a bad habit of going overboard. That's something I hope to correct in the rewrite -and focus more on less drama and more wholesome/loving moments.

Even tho I was mostly keeping chapter the same the first time I sketched it for the redraw, I added this scene. The idea was that when the house was on fire, Frisk would of ran off to the right of the house to where you can see Old Home.

There, even tho Frisk can't verbally talk, the two have a nice heart-to-heart. Chara remember Frisk has [spoilers] issues. Chara was going to own up to their bad behavior.

Now well, hm. Chara's got a lot of shit going on. Frisk of course has forgiven them (like they do for everyone in the underground -_- oh frisk...) and it's going to be something that's addressed down the road. for now, they've held hands, and shown solidarity for each other. As kids, they're going to goof around and be buddies and not let the cruddy stuff chara did earlier matter. things are so much less of a big deal when you're a kid.

what fic were you proudest of this year? i might have to say only fools rush in aka marriage bets! it certainly is the longest one i've written and had the longest gestational period. plus i wrote a lot of it while incredibly busy (tho maybe that helped?). im still happy i managed to hit the balance between ridiculous premise and genuine feeling that i was aiming for, and that i managed to figure out and feel comfortable in a new pov.

what fic are you most surprised you wrote? linger. if you told me a year ago i was gonna write 65k of omegaverse i simply would not have believed you! it wasn't a trope i ever thought i would write! and yet here we are. lmao.

✵It's Visceral And It's Cruel✵

So I've been working on chapter 5 for the past couple of weeks here and there, but I've really tried to buckle down this week and I'm actually about halfway through it! Since the next couple chapters are already pre-planned out, I've got my list of plot points/scenes that I know need to be included per chapter. This chapter has 6 plot points/scenes and I'm planning on finishing off the 2nd scene and moving on to the 3rd today! Fingers crossed honestly, but Y'ALL I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS CHAPTER!! A lot is going to happen, and while it won't all be particularly Rhaemond based, I think it'll be super interesting! A lot of things will be set into motion and there's going to be some super tense and interactions between our big name characters!

Release date: TBD (I would LOVEEE to work all through my weekend to get this out by then, but we'll see, I won't promise that now tho)

OOOOOooooo this fic has a chokehold over me right now!! Likeee, chapter 5 has ALOT planned for it. It's going to be a pretty long one in comparison to the other relatively short chapters! Last chapter had Aemond tracking Rhaena down in Venice and it was so tense and sexual, just imagine that energy multiplied for this next chapter!! The ✨DRAMAAAAA✨ I'd say I'm about a quarter of the way through, there's an argument/conversation they needed to have at the start of this chapter that was really giving me trouble, but once I worked through it, things were flowing a lot easier!

Release date: TBD (there's still a lot left to write, but who knows, maybe the inspiration will hit me this weekend)

So technically this is a pretty direct sequel to Early One Morning, and if you've read that, then this literally takes place that very same morning 😂😂 except it's ✨ Breakfast Time✨ now. I've actually got this entire thing written out, back when Early One Morning was going to be one big one-shot, I'd already written this scene as the next scene after the kids joined Rhaena and Aemond in bed. So technically, all I need to do is spruce it up a little and then edit it and it's done! Thinking about it now, I think I might try and finish this one up as soon as possible so maybe it can go up by Thursday or Friday...maybe even tonight, but we'll see.

Hi there! Thank you so so much for your message, it was so sweet to read :D

I've noticed a pattern of behaviour within myself where between May to July every year, I wind up taking an impromptu hiatus from the fandom. I'm just usually burnt out from school work and my patience for buffoonery within the fandom has worn thin. Like the opposite of a bear (so functionally in this case... a vampire?) I must hibernate from the internet for three sunny months before I can return, rejuvenated, and ready to hunt for fish (or blood or something). But as you can see I'm still popping back in every so often! I don't have a set date I'll return full time, but I'd like to get back to doing ficrec Friday posts again in August, if that's something people are still interested in seeing :)

In the meantime, I have indeed been working on a few things behind the scenes! Most recently, I've returned to a longform project I've had on the back burner since last summer. It's called "Deny Me And Be Doomed" and it's a reality swap bunny AU between mild-mannered college student Butters and a dystopian-TFBW Professor Chaos >:] I had planned to write a second round of 50k words in July for Camp NaNoWriMo like I did last year, but I only made it about 9k before life got busy and I fell out of the writing habit again 😮‍💨 I wanna try to adjust my goal to a more achievable 25k this month, and 25k in august, so that hopefully I'll be able to finish the first draft by the end of the summer! And then there's just some editing and it'll be good to go :D My dream is to be able to post the first chapter on my 20th birthday, 1st of October, because I've been sitting on this project for so long and it would be so exciting to be able to finally share it with you lovely readers 🩷 I have no idea if I'll make that deadline, but hey, I can dream 🥰

Now that I'm almost caught up on The Illusionist, I was wondering if you'd be willing to enlighten me on your writing process. Also, if you feel comfortable sharing, was there anything unexpected or surprising that you learned about writing fic?? Super curious and super nosy :>

Thank you for the ask, Z!! I will be honest, my writing process is a MESS, especially now that I'm super busy with school. For each chapter, I usually have a scaffold to work with, and the very least some bullet points that outline each scene. It is almost unimaginable to me that in the early days of my fic, I could write a chapter every few weeks over several regular writing sessions. These days it's so chaotic. I write nothing at all for months at a time then get hit by inspiration ray and stay up from 5 AM to 3 AM writing the bulk of a chapter. It's so unsustainable lol. It usually goes like this:

Write a line.

Agonize over said line.

Write a few paragraphs. Go back to original line and rewrite it three times. End up with the same line I started with.

Forget about things for a few weeks. Write another paragraph. Rewrite said paragraph. Rewrite first line again.

Rearrange all the sentences and re-read it until I'm sick of myself.

Brood for a bit. Get distracted for a few more weeks.

Scrounge for inspiration in my dreamscape. When it hits, spend all of Saturday writing and doing nothing but writing. Don't contact anyone. Don't go outside. Don't do anything. Don't even blink.

Edit while burnt out cause I slept for 6 hours over the entire weekend and hopefully don't get sick of myself again :D

So yeah, I don't recommend that, eheh. I think it's been so difficult cause I'm at the end of a long fic and feeling the pressure, but hopefully when I get back into my Skyrim fic, I'll have planned it out a bit more and it will not be so lawless. Also I've found that chipping away little by little and having someone to do writing sprints with helps a ton with maintaining creative flow (thanks @gilgamish <3)

As for the second part of the question, I'd say what surprised me the most was 1) how much I enjoy writing and 2) how many people have enjoyed my writing. I started The Illusionist back in 2017 with no real writing experience or intention of publishing online, kind of just went *dooot dooot* on the keyboard for a few years, then realized "omg there's a story here" (is it obvious that i pantsed 😅). At some point, I realized it had become a serious hobby, and I actually wanted to improve my skill which is a blessing and a curse cause I've found a real passion for the craft but that also means I'm a lot harsher on myself now.

The second point was far more unexpected tho— I'm truly blown away by how welcoming this community has been and how supportive my friends are. Absolutely mind-boggled that anyone has taken time out their day to read my fic, let alone dropped a message to tell me they liked it 😭 I'm incredibly grateful. Oblivion is almost TWO DECADES OLD, and when I first started writing, my fic was a rare-pair that centered around the mages. THE MAGES GUILD. It was so unbelievably unsexy and understandably received very little engagement XD For years it was like that, so my expectations have always been and will remain very low. Still, I'm having such a blast and hope to be writing for a while :)

You look up from the flowers you're bundling on the shop counter as you hear someone stumble in, groaning in pain

You rarely get customers, so it's unusual for someone to come in so close to closing time, much less a man judging from the voice

You cautiously make your way over to the front of the shop, clutching the dagger in the pocket of your apron tightly when you see a man with long hair, hunched over with his face sizzling and bleeding

"Holy Melitele! Are you alright?"

You release your hold on the dagger to prop this man upright, wincing as you take in his features still aggravated from his newfound injuries

The stranger does his best to push your hands off of him, but you can tell he's incredibly weak at the moment

You shuffle him over to the wall so that you can lean him against it and you rush away to gather a bucket of cold water and clean rags

When you come back to him, bucket, rags, and a bottle of spirits your friends hadn’t finished, you make quick work of fixing him up to the best of your abilities

You hand him the bottle to drink from (to hopefully numb his pain) before putting a wet cloth against his face, barely dodging his flailing limbs as he screams in pain

"I know, I know," you reason, holding one of his hands with your free one, "the cold water should help to cool it for now. I'll call a healer over as soon as you're in a more stable condition."

"I don't... need a stupid healer..." He groans, his words barely comprehensible as his voice is hoarse from his yelling

"Yes, you do. I'm not a healer, so even though I'd love to help you by myself, that's not possible for me. So the faster we get this wound cleaned, the faster we'll see someone who can help. Melitele knows where we'll find a capable one in this part of Velen though..."

He doesn't respond to you anymore, his breaths labored, but steady as he passes out in your arms

Well, at least he won't be fighting back against the treatment anymore

When he comes to a day and a half later, you're both in the healer's hut

His head is pounding and his face burns, but he can smell the sterilzing serums seeped into the bandages wrapped around one side of his face

Though he can tell his wounds are somewhat cared for, he’s alert, body tensing and ready to fight his way out of wherever he is

And then he sees you, sitting in a chair on the other side of the room, head resting on your arms as you’re slumped forward on the desk, idly pinching the fire from a candle between your fingers

“Careful,” he starts, his voice raspy, “fire can be dangerous.”

Your eyes widen in surprise and you hurriedly turn your head to look at him

“You’re awake!” You carry the candle as you walk over to his side, the room partially illuminated by it in the night

You sit at the chair near his cot this time, taking in his features now that he’s conscious and they’re no longer contorted in pain

You introduce himself, but he doesn’t give you his name in return— it’s fine you suppose, maybe a bit rude, but you can’t blame him, someone hurt him badly; you’d have trust issues if half of your face were burnt too

“Well, there aren’t many healers in this part of Velen, but the one I brought you to was the best we could get you immediate treatment at. How are you feeling?”

“Like half of my face is burnt.” He rolls his eyes as he says it, but has the decency to be slightly ashamed at his behavior after you’ve gone out of your way to help him. “Well… even still, it’s better than what I felt before.”

You look at the bandages with sympathy before grabbing a glass of water and some herbs the healer left behind for him

You urge him to drink it in order to help speed up the healing process, and while he’s forcing himself to swallow the bitter herbs, you begin talking about yourself to fill in the silence: what you do at the shop he barged in on, what life is like in your part of town, the new pastry being sold at your favorite bakery, etc.

He doesn't want to be rude, but he really doesn't know how to respond to your genuine care and worry for him, much less casual conversation when he’s only used to giving threats— he trips over his words when he dodges answers to your questions about him, and he resists the urge to kick his legs when he finally sits up in the cot

You're a bit thrown off by his terseness, but you can tell by his sweeping and calculative gaze of the room that it's more out of nervousness and distrust rather than the actual desire to be rude

“Well then, the healer says you should probably stay out of trouble for a while.” You think to yourself that trouble is probably an understatement to whatever this man has been getting into. “So, if you don’t mind me asking, what are you going to do in the meantime?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

You roll your eyes. “Half of your face is burnt and incredibly susceptible to irritation and infection; clearly you shouldn’t be doing whatever you were doing earlier if it gave you injuries like this. So what will you do while you heal?”

He forces himself to stand up, his legs slightly wobbling as he does so

“I don’t have time to waste,” he grips the sides of the cot to stabilize himself, “I need to complete my mission. I have all the time in the world afterwards.”

“Mission?” Clearly there’s more to this man than meets the eye, but he quickly shoots down your inquiry

“Nothing to concern your pretty little head with. You should go back to your shop and forget you ever met me.”

“Oh, so you think I’m pretty?” Your voice has a teasing lilt to it, and you resist the urge to laugh at the way his brows furrow in displeasure

“You’re real cheeky, aren’t you? Cmon then,” he gestures to the door leading out of the healer’s place, “I’ll get you back to yours, and then you go back to that ordinary life of yours.”

As much as you’d like to quip back with a line akin to “well, what if I don’t want to have an ordinary life?” you can see from the man’s injuries that whatever life he’s leading is lethal

You're nothing special; you don't have much self-defense knowledge, you know basic first-aid but nothing advanced enough to take the position of a healer or mage, you're probably weaker than the people who frequent the tavern every night

You let out a little sigh in response, one that the man takes as approval as he grabs your arm and leads you out of the tent before standing still, realizing he has no idea how to get you back to your town

His chaos reserves are dwindled and he's not sure he's physically-able enough to cast anything anyways

"We can hitch a ride on one of the traveling carts for a handful of noble." You point to a group of salespeople standing near their horse-drawn carts.

The man nods at your idea and the two of you go to talk to the group

A deal is eventually made and the two of you are set to depart in two days, so in the meantime you set up shack at an inn nearby, sharing a room much to Rience's apprehension

He can't really complain though as he doesn't have any money on him and can only be thankful that you're willing to share a space with him

"So," you say, hopping onto your bed, looking at him sitting up in his own a few feet away from you, "what should I call you?"

"I can't—"

"Yeah, yeah," you wave your hand, "you can't give me your name because you're so mysterious and dangerous. So? Give me something to work with; an alias, a nickname, a petname...?"

You patiently wait for his response, your eyebrow raised

"You can call me..." his voice falters as he can't come up with anything till his eyes land on the candle lighting up the room. "Hot stuff."

"Hot stuff?" You resist the urge to roll your eyes. "Well you certainly were hot stuff based on those burns you have."

There's a pregnant pause as you process what you just said

"Oh, shit, I'm so sorry— that was actually insensitive of me—"

Your worried ramblings are cut off by a velvety laugh, surprising you

"No apologies needed."

Rience is taken by surprise at how little he actually cares about that quip

Usually he'd probably kill someone for making such a remark, but coming from you he can only be impressed by how you came up with that on the fly

Honestly though, it hurts to smile, but he can't help the way his lips quirk up when he's around you

That's why days later when you're finally back in front of your shop, he can't help to feel a little saddened

"Well," you say, rolling your shoulders in discomfort as you're no longer confined to the space of the cart, "just because you want me to return to my ordinary life doesn't mean you hafta be a stranger."

"What?"

"I mean," you fiddle with the bottom hem of your shirt. "Just because I'm not necessarily strong enough to travel with you or partake in your mission doesn't mean we can't stay in contact. My shop won't change, so you can like... visit or send letters if you want."

Rience weighs the pros and cons of it

While him staying in contact with you may put you in danger, he's pretty confident in his ability to protect you, and besides that he knows you're innocent— no reason for a pesky witcher and his child surprise to kill you should they find out you're associated with him

"Alright then."

Your head jerks up in surprise, no longer focused on them hem of your shirt as you look up at him in disbelief

"Wait, really?" You can't help the smile that graces your face

His small smile is the only affirmative you need to know you heard him correctly

"Oh. Well then, hot stuff,” you start with a smile. “Looks like my life won't be that ordinary after all."

I'd like to get better at virtual photography but I'm also burnt out and it's been 3 years now. But I have fun taking in game pictures I'm thinking of downloading a mod for pc cyberpunk but I also want to wait b/c the mods are constantly updating it seems so I'm not sure I'll prob do it tho cause ppl take some sick shots with it.

I have another thought so I was replaying cyberpunk as I frequently do(or walk around taking pictures and crafting so I can make money to buy more clothing) and I started to think about how sad I was Johnny finally was "released" I was genuinely distraught, and it was bitter sweet. But I started to think (after years of playing the game) I'm happy Johnny is finally "free" from V because for one he never got the chance to "live" once he "died" as soon as he realized he died, he was inserted into a person's head and then possibly takes their body or goes past the black wall. Which is something Johnny never experienced and not many ppl know much about it. I genuinely don't think Johnny is completely "gone" when merging with Alt but I'm just kinda happy for him to finally be free in a sense. And not feel guilty for taking over V's psychi. Pretty clear that V and Johnny become "bffs" or "one" because I don't think u can be as close as sharing the same body and mind. Even if V tries to genuinely hate Johnny, V never TRULY hate Johnny. And this thought came when V said "maybe we can figure out another way so stay a construct" I kinda think that was a bit selfish of V to say. Which is nothing wrong with being selfish when u care about someone considering the circumstances but the fact Johnny would've POSSIBLY done it if it didn't mean making a deal with arasaka is pretty interesting as well. It was pretty selfless of Johnny to even consider it tbh and u know he canonically gives V their body

ALSOOO on Reddit I saw some weird takes about Johnny and ppl were saying he only cares about himself and or V. I definitely feel like that kinda in the beginning of the game but later on Johnny is showing concern for V's comrades the way he says Judy is nice and cool when looking thru her apartment and even getting defensive when said she's comparable to Alt(lol) yeah I feel like he's being an asshole but knowing V , Johnny knows V isn't going to listen to his grumbling(o I remember the Reddit post said why didn't Johnny contact V's friends about taking the body) I mean let's be for real how would Johnny ever explain that honestly yeah it sucks they may never know but shit idk maybe Judy since she was depressed asf but idk I understand why he wouldn't say anything and only say something to rogue. Because rogue is "different" and knows a bunch of shit about a lot of shit and Rogue was Johnny's star crossed lover And again she had connections across night city heavily. So she may know something about that. Idk

Consider the fact that Astraea is a land of magic. Extend it to general fantasy. What is a popular creature in fantasy? DRAGONS. MC LEARNS THAT DRAGONS ARE REAL AND GOES ON A QUEST TO TAME ONE (if they aren't already used as some method of transport (akin to horses) (idk about fully domesticated dragons tho, I feel like feral/wild dragons are a given here but then again it seems like Astraea could potentially have domesticated ones))

MC: I read the how to train your dragon book series. I'm practically an expert.

While funky /pos as a concept, I find it even better to think about it worldbuilding wise as this opens up a very exciting idea, exploration, and how it affects the developments of civilizations (along with various other choices to talk about but I'll get there lol).

We earthbeings were grounded for a significant portion of our existence and only started flying a little more than a century ago which is small in the amount of time that humanity has existed (for this I'm specifying builders (stone wall in Theopatra cave, about 23000 years ago, humanity has been around for a while and even then there could be older structures)). Anyway my point with that was flight is a highly new concept in human history, it potentially wouldn't be with dragons in the mix.

The existence of dragons also opens up ideas for social structures, conflict, and statuses. Not to mention professions and how people interact with this species (and making those species omfgggg my writer brain and inner child are having a field day (seriously there is so much fun to have with this concept :D)).

There's also fun cultural stuff that one can play with. Religion, fashion, art, etc.

Dragons in hunter gatherer and neolithic societies would be especially useful for tools and war. Clothing out of hides, armor out of scales, weapons made of the strong and sharp materials, would maps be easier to make?

Imagine a social/political conflict. Let's say the American civil war, now imagine how that would go if they had dragons. Everything has a trade. But I digress, warfare in this case is quite the interesting idea. At least in the socioeconomic state of the current time in the game the warfare status is easy, swords, magic, maybe a battle-axe if we're feeling particularly lethal. However if we were to go centuries into the future, would their technology be like ours?

Could dragons have access to magic? What could one do with their body parts? Are dragons more valuable alive or dead? (I'm answering this question, alive for sure but then that answer also depends on the profession of the person being asked). What kinds of technological advancements could be made with those parts? (I could very easily go off into a tangent but thankfully I won't)

Unfortunately there are fallacies to my headcanons. Dragons would be presumably large, and if were in fact part of civilization, Porrima, Rivath, Mournfall, and other populated areas are lacking in such a resource. At least from what has been given to us by the game. We don't even have mention of dragons.

But fortunately that doesn't mean that we can't make up our own worldbuilding ideas and hopefully you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. :3

Ooh this is a lot of interesting ideas! I like how you tied in real-world concepts and conflicts. It helps ground everything in reality (or as much reality as you can get when talking about dragons and magic).

The only canon reference we have to dragons (as far as I remember) is in Sage's route, Chapter 2, during the Two Truths and a Lie game (star choice). MC says they slayed a dragon and Sage says that's a lie because they 'would be burnt to a crisp' if they'd tried. Which is. Uh. Not a lot to go off of. But that does tell us dragons are canon and they probably are not domesticated, at least not widely. Everyone has a different canon, though, so I guess that's besides the point.

I'm fascinated by the way that dragons - specifically domesticated ones - could have shaped various societies. It makes me think of the movie April and the Extraordinary World (2015). It takes place in a world where electricity was never discovered (kinda - it's hard to explain because it takes a sci-fi turn into Lizard People and stuff) so coal and steam engines still rule the planet. As the world's population completely stripped the Earth of trees and subsequently polluted the air to the point where people carried around gas masks. Obviously the world's political powers shifted. It's a French movie so the focus is Paris but it gives you an idea of the rest of the world. It's a good movie and I recommend it. Maybe it'll even give you some more ideas?

Yeah, there’s a whole list of spooky creators who would probably add a lot to their episodes besides just being popular. Twin Paranormal, Paranormal Nightmare, Amy’s Crypt since they’re going to the UK, Em and Liv at Meta Pyschkicks. Go live up to your name and actually make Shane Madej a believer. Do more work with the Destination Fear guys who might be moving to YouTube. Go on Greg Neukirk’s podcast (did Hellier and produces Kindred Spirits). All of these people would pull an audience and be a much better fit. Idk… I’m just burnt out on the random collabs.

i agree with you to a point. the random collabs, especially with streamers, is really tiring. i get that these streamers have a lot of fans that maybe snc don't have or haven't connected with, but like…. highkey, i don't care lol

slight postive tho, destination fear seems to not be getting renewed so snc might collab with them more since they will (most likely) be moving to youtube. so, that's kinda fun.

July 2022 Update (big)

A bit of a longer post. Here's a TL;DR (too long, didn't read) if you don't want to read the whole post. Don't worry if you don't!

TL;DR: I struggled with keeping the blog consistent due to a multiple factors. I took some time to reflect on the blog and the kind of changes I can make to keep it consistent, and will be implementing them immediately. Please send me your feedback if you have any, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Firstly, I’d like to apologize to everyone for not having posted for some time now. And even when I did, it was in an inconsistent manner. Truth is, between my real life (job, studying, projects), and writing, I’m burned out, and I have been for a really long time. It took me even longer to come to terms with it. I felt awful, just staring at my inbox as it grew in numbers.

I used to be on top of things. I had a weekly upcoming posts post where I highlighted what I was working on for the week. I had special request events that were super fun. But somewhere along the way, I lost my passion and it sucked.

Don’t get me wrong, I love writing for you guys. It makes me so happy to share my love for Apex Legends and Valorant through my writing. But sometimes it gets overwhelming. And I didn’t see how that was affecting me until recently.

But this isn’t a sad post! I promised everyone that this is a welcoming and positive space! And I mean it! Do I feel burnt out? Yeah. Do I feel overwhelmed with the blog at times? Yeah. But that kinda comes with the territory doesn’t it? People request things, and I have to find time within my daily life to answer ‘em. It doesn’t mean the blog has to struggle too.

In the last few weeks, my life has changed mostly positively after I made some decisions to move forward with some challenging things. And on top of that, I took that time to think about changes I can make to revive this blog- make it a little more consistent. Hopefully these changes will enact a positive change, and I can ride that high for months and years to come (famous last words)!

But first, here are my main takeaways and issues with the blog that need addressing:

Requests are completed at an inconsistent pace

Promises of events are not kept

Following match up march, I blew a burnout fuse, and had difficulty writing for months (and still do)

I get overwhelmed when there are too many requests

I enjoyed writing the most around the time when I made weekly upcoming posts (if you’ve stuck around since then, you know what I’m talking about). And perhaps the pandemic has had some hand in changing all this.

I do want to apologize to everyone. I love this blog so much, and I love writing for everyone. But I think I’ve been struggling a lot with keeping a consistent posting schedule for a long time now, and I don’t want to keep doing that.

With that being said, here’s the part you’re probably most interested in- the changes. These changes will be held for the rest of the year, so I can get a feel for whether or not to keep them.

All 23 requests in my inbox will be deleted, and I will be starting anew. Apologies to everyone who has waited a long time.

I’ve got a lot of headcanons and ideas that have been in my head for a while, and I’d like to get them out at a consistend pace, so hopefully you’ll enjoy them.

I will be spending a lot of time making a masterlist

Requests will only be open on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday Eastern Standard Time). This gives me a chance to not have them build up. Any requests sent in during the weekday (Mon-Fri) will be deleted. I’m sorry.

Requests sent in on weekends will be completed during the following week. To start off, there will be two posts a week (or more, if I can handle it)

I spent 3 days with my family and today I should take the train back for uni but it's raining hard outside so I'm having second thoughts. Regardless, my parents still insist I go bc they claim it's important that I don't neglect education hah it's just one day tho. 😅

Idk what I'd be doing once I get there, prob visit canteen and later finish my term papers. I still have drawing commissions to do and my latest work looks nice but I have so much stuff to do. I wish I wouldn't study and just draw for the rest of my life. 😂 And go out with friends.
