Hellooooooo yeah
What do you think of writing some vore stuff about tfp starscream?...😇⚡️🌌
Good day, dear anonymous!
Yes, of course! I remember I was asked about it before, but, unfortunately, at that time I had mental breakdown and couldn't come up with anything. I'm very sorry about that, and if you're the same anon who sent me the first ask, I sincerely apologise for the delay... However, now I finally made it up! Hope you'll enjoy!

Homesickness
Rain. Through the monitor you looked at a wide grey valley disappearing inch by inch as “Nemesis” was flying north, farther and farther. There was something dreamy, nostalgic about that melancholic landscape; pale colors set numbing bitterness in your chest, but it didn’t mean there was no beauty in them… You could almost sense fresh, chilly air and cool heavy drops on your cheeks and neck – rain water has an amazing, unique bouquet combining wild, crazy variety of natural scents: grass, earth, field flowers, mushrooms... All living beings love summer rain – it fills them with peace and hope for the better times. And what an incredible view it is when the sun comes out and the water on tree leaves starts to sparkle like trillions of moon stones.
But it wasn’t the thought lingering in your head. Watching as a wall of piercing, needle-like streams were bombarding the ground beneath, you thought of your loved ones, people that you had to leave behind to be here. Of course, you kept in touch – you texted them every week and they did the same, even more often… But it was impossible to go back, at least any time soon. Conspiracy had to be strictly kept: your decepticon friends wouldn’t be glad to hear that even more people knew about them – it was literally luck that Megatron, their huge scary boss with more scars on his armor than hairs on your head agreed to let you join the crew and didn’t kill you as far as you showed up. After getting some experience you figured out that these big mechanical creatures were not very fond of humans. Well, most of them.
- Nasty weather, isn’t it? No matter what Megs says, I won’t go out until this nonsense stop!
You glanced back and saw a pair of familiar long wings twitching in annoyance and distaste.
- You think so, Starry? I rather find it relaxing.
- Well, you don’t need to worry about rust eating your joints if you get outside…
- Ha! You has a point…
The seeker seemed irritated, though you knew he wouldn’t be like that for long. He loved complaining – everyone has their bad habits, and grumpiness is an innocent sin. He saved your life, he gave you food and shelter – and he became your ally you could count on despite the fact that at first others wouldn’t give a tip of a finger (or a digit) for your partnership to last at least a month.
It had been two years already. And so, who wouldn’t bear some little disadvantages when there was so much to be grateful for?
Starscream stepped closer to you and, in spite of his exclamation, layed his gaze at the monitor, his manipulators clenching behind his back.
- Back at Cybotron, we didn’t have rains.
You lifted your head, now looking at his pointy face, two ruby-red optics flaming on it. They were unnaturally sad.
- Really?..
He nodded.
- And the skies had different hue, and our stars looked brighter and bigger. And the cities! Oh, you must have seen them in their golden days… I miss it. Those careless days.
The rain grew heavier; it turned into a solid white wall.
- Did you have a family?
- Hm?
- I mean… Someone who you would be close with, like… Parents? Siblings? Friends?.. Did you have such connections with someone back there?
Two pines far away looked like shaggy beasts standing in the fog – their hairy muzzles swayed back and forth as if they were arguing about something and biting each other’s long “fur”.
- Actually, we don’t have such concept as… family. But I did have friends. Some were very good ones. I still remember things we did when we were young. And there was one I would even call a brother… Though, all of them are gone by now. Killed, missing…
Something bubbled painfully in his chassis.
- Sometimes… Sometimes I think if I could choose: to become a leader of Decepticons or to make things like they were before - I would choose the latter. I’m not kidding! I… I really would. Even now, it’s so strange to get up in the mornings and realize that you are actually alone on another planet and your… home… is destroyed. Everything is dumb and alien: whatever I see or touch has nothing in common with me. At the same time, I’m afraid to remember… I’m grateful Knockout and you still pay attention to me – if you didn’t, I would most likely crush down on Earth.
He grimaced. His wings lowered. The more Starscream spoke, the less he looked like himself, but you knew – it was him. True him, hiding back in the shadows. Who can tell what he lost? Who can claim him to be heartless? If a vase is empty, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t full. If a man can’t love, it doesn’t mean it has always been so.
And if you fear to look back… It doesn’t mean that you stopped longing.
- I miss home too, Starry. My planet is in one piece, it blooms and lives – I can’t possibly compare your grief to mine. And still… I’m lonely here. I guess, you understand. Though, not that lonely. At least, I have you.
There was an unreadable expression on his faceplate for a minute or two, but then he smiled softly.
- At such moments you fleshy things hug each other, don’t you?
- Yeap! We do. But it would be quite complicated now.
- Agreed. However, not for us, don’t you think?
You lips stretched in a mischievous grin.
- Ha! You think about the same thing I do?
The seeker bent to you and turned his head on a side, examining your artificially-naughty face with only one optic – at that moment he reminded you of a big carnivorous bird.
- Well, tell me, little one… - He murmured, his endless claws suddenly appearing just beside you...
… Sitting in a comparably spacious, slimy pouch of Starscream fueltank, you listened to the quiet noises of his huge body, your heart beating slowly and thoughts lazily crawling around your tired mind. Your muscles still could recall the tenderness of your friend’s long throat and esophagus, gentle licks of the glossa trying to sneak under your shirt and reach the bare skin – and so making you squelch in surprise while your cheeks were getting much, much hotter from slight embarrassment and annoyance; by the way, you and his tongue had quite an impressive fighting session (which he almost lost) before you, content and completely exhausted, let your limp wet body helplessly slide down, in the comforting confines of the warm stomach. At that moment even you couldn’t believe you was able laugh that hard!..
Greyish cobalt walls kneaded you, squeezing your tiny frame in strong, affectionate embrace. Hints of red and blue lights ran across them like shooting stars in August. Forgetting about your miserable weight, you floated in your personal small piece of cosmos, rubbing it gently and receiving low, pleasured purr from above, vibrating in your bones.
Rain. It doesn’t rain, but pours. But it’ll be better one day, if you stay strong.
If you stay together.

The Stranger Things Q&A panel at a convention today (actors of Chrissy, Alexei and Karen)
I was not able to ask any questions, sorry guys! The queue was long and I dislike crowds a lot so I avoided it. However, the panel host pointed at me when talking about the cosplay in the fandom and complimented my cosplay- people clapped! Except she said "oh my goodness chips ahoy!" (I am a Robin cosplayer) and I am in fact not cosplaying chips ahoy.
I've included most answers here, nothing really about S5 though except confirmation that filming begins in June for Cara, what they'd like to happen and no Byler. There was a lot for the Hellcheer shippers as well since Grace got asked about that. There were a few questions they refused to answer, most of which were about their fellow cast members. Except for when the crowd wanted to kill Mike when asked which of the party should die (bit harsh). One person said Will and Grace was outraged.
Cara (Karen)
Her daughter cosplays anime
Audition - started in 2015, in person followed by a series of auditions, only one to meet Duffers before set
Huge Walking Dead fan, loves Star Trek, anime vicariously through child, Genshin Impact
Likes the nostalgic bits - happy it's introducing 80s music to younger generation
Favorite part to act was the scene where she first met Billy as it was fun to shoot and they were laughing between takes
Cara never learnt to swim so had to get lessons to film a shot of backstroke in S3
Sad that Benny died, as well as Eddie and Chrissy because she wonders what could've been
Her daughter was 2 when she started stranger things so she grew up with the cast and it's bittersweet to see kids grow
Thinks pineapples DO belong on pizza
Wants Angela to die in S5 (because she's mean) with a whack to the face from another roller skate
S5 shooting begins in June!
She was surprised at how gruesome Chrissy's death was even though she'd read it in the script but thought it served as a good departure from previous seasons
Carnival scene was best location to film on as they built a carnival and you could go on the rides when it wasn't being filmed
Grace (Chrissy)
Audition - sent in a tape, only had to try once because she was the only one to play her nice
Grace is a big Doctor Who fan, particularly number 10
Would be a demodog if she could play anyone else
Favorite part of shooting was working with Joe Quinn as he's super talented and fun
Most stressful scene to shoot was running from Vecna (crying, screaming, running, etc was exhausting) especially since Jamie Campbell Bowers walks super slowly
Would kill Vecna to save Eddie
She thinks Eddie and Chrissy would've been together but says that "they are [together] now" (💀💀) which got a huge laugh
Says third season is the best
Would be a potato if she could be a food
Not tired of Chrissy Wake Up. Was asked to sing Chrissy Wake Up but she didn't
Was nervous people would be glad she died so she'd be out of the way so was pleased people love Chrissy
Dear Billy (04x04) is the best episode in her opinion
Thinks pineapples don't belong on pizza
Enjoyed dying for the first time but actually found it hard to watch. They wouldn't let her keep snapped Chrissy to hang from her ceiling
Alec (Alexei)
Audition - just generic scenes, wrote the character around him
Big anime fan (Demon Slayer, Hunter X Hunter)
Says the 80s nostagia shows the power of music (and marketing)
Favorite people to work with were David and Winona (mother and father figure of set)
Favorite part to shoot was the scenes with the slushies. It was cherry "because it was in the script" (he was asked why he chose a cherry slushie)
Would be "Cool Dustin" if he could have played anyone else (he is his favorite character, loved Gaten's performance from S1 as he's unique)
First shot outside of Murray's house was very scary to film as he wanted to impress the cast
He says the first season is the best season
It was unexpected that people clung on to his character and the reaction from social media although he did anticipate people would be sad from the death
Doesn't want Eddie to come back, says more main characters should die
So that's that! I got to speak to Cara as well and she was lovely, I'll be seeing them later today as well for photos/autographs (:

Christmas Eve- Lainez x reader fluff
(Ik Christmas was a few days ago but I just thought this would be cute😭)
It was Christmas Eve and your boyfriend, Diego, was invited to your family’s home to spend the weekend there. As you two drove through the snow towards your parents house, you both admired the whimsical and mesmerizing lights. However, Diego couldn’t take his eyes off of you. He was fascinated by the reflection of the colorful lights in your eyes, and struggled to pay attention to the road. The music playing on the radio grew distant as you turned your head to smile at him, for his other senses were broken down by the sight of his girlfriend.
“Diego,” you began, “we need to take a left here.” Diego paused and then remembered that he was driving to your family’s home, the feeling of sudden realization was plastered onto his face, as his eyes narrowed then lit up.
“Oh wow, I totally forgot.” Diego admites through a laugh, however you reassured him, for it was only a mistake, everyone gets distracted.
You two were only about half a mile away from the house, and after Diego finally pulled into the driveway, you held his hand after he released the gear shift. Diego’s hand was warm, and your hands seemed to fit in them perfectly. Diego looked up and smiled at you, then opened the door on his side, in which you promptly followed soon after.
Your shoes collected snow, and you shivered as the sudden rush of cold air hit you, after coming around the front of the car, you could see the weather was having the same affect on Diego. He looked up from the ground and at you, and made an awkward smile before grabbing your hand tightly to share the body heat, and rubbing inside with you.
“Momma!” You called from the mud room, “We’re here!” Upon hearing your voice, your parents dog, Carlos, sped towards you and jumped onto your leg with a large grin and a wagging tail. Diego loved dogs, and bent down to pet the canine and greet him very quickly:
After the dog was your little brother, b/n.
“Y/n!” He exclaimed as he barreled towards you and Diego. B/n was wearing a reindeer onesie, and his hair was a mess, the sight was nostalgic, and caused a rush of joy to wash over you.
“Hello, b/n! I’ve missed you so much.” You greeted as you bent over to hug the short little boy, however he had other plans, for he jumped into your arms without warning or hesitation. The action almost made you fall over and tumble on top of your brother, but Diego grabbed your shoulders and adjusted your balance before you could fall.
Your little brother paused, then looked up at Diego. He looked puzzled, then a few seconds later, a toothy grin was spread across his face.
“Diego Lainez? Oh my goodness, I’m your biggest fan. I want to be like you when I grow up and play for Mexico so badly!” Your brother said. Diego giggled and smiled at your brother as he gave him a high five and some words of encouragement:
“I’m sure you’ll make a great player, b/n.” That made you smile, you couldn’t put your finger on the feeling, oh yes, this was almost like storge. Diego filled the father figure role very well, and you couldn’t help but find it attractive and “heart warming.”
Your little brother thanked Diego and ran off alongside the dog, as your parents walked towards you. Your mother smiled and tan towards you, wrapping you in an embrace once she was closer to you.
“Oh y/n, I’ve missed you so much!” She exclaimed whilst shaking you in her arms as you struggled to breath. “Oh my! Is this Diego?”
Your mother turned to look at your boyfriend, as he gave her an awkward smile and a wave, prompting her to wrap him too in a warm embrace. You snickered as you watched your boyfriend struggle to breath the same way you did a few minutes ago.
Looking away, you noticed your father, he had his hands in his pockets and had a genial appearance: He wore a red sweater with a reindeer being ridden by an elf, and had a smile on his face.
Like how your mother reacted to the sight of you, you responded to your father in the same manner, lunging towards him in excitement. You hugged your dad as tight as possible, and exchanged greetings. Now it was time to introduce Diego to D/n.
Diego waved and addressed your father as. “Mr. L/n” your father laughed, for he wasn’t super strict, but much more laid back, contrary to what Diego feared. After greeting the family, everything went by in a smooth fashion. You and Diego brought in your bags and gifts from the car, and dropped y’all’s things off in your old room.
When you arrived in your room, Diego looked around and smiled, confused about why he had such a wide grin, you looked around.
Oh my God. There on your wall, above your bed, was a poster of Edward Cullen from twilight, a My Chemical Romance poster, and a figurine from Doctor Who was sat beside your bed. You cringed, remembering your interests from when you were younger, now while you go to sleep you’ll have to look a pale vampire in the eyes, how strange.
“My room is worse,” said Diego, interrupting your thoughts. “I loved Pierce the Veil when I was a teenager, and other weird things.”
That made you laugh, the thought of Diego in skinny jeans and a band tee.
“I’d just like to forget about any strange phase I had when I was younger.” You said as you dropped your bags onto the floor.
“That sounds alright, but I’d still love you even if you were still ‘edgy’.” Diego jokingly reassured, “Now let’s go downstairs. You nodded and grasped his hands, as you two made your way down the stairs.
If you have any suggestions or writing tips please let me know, I will take criticism on just about anything lol.

okay i’m gonna put my two cents in with the ballad of songbirds and snakes.
i read the hunger games books (and watched the movies) for the first time in 2021 (i had seen the first movie before but that was it). so i was a fully ass grown adult when i first entered the series. i loved the books, i thought they were complex and the kind of last hurrah of mature YA books that i remember reading as a kid before YA became the YA it is today in the publishing world. i remember enjoying the movies as companions as well.
and i know a lot of people hated HATED the ballad of songbirds and snakes when it came out. those who grew up reading the books and watching the movies. but as an adult with no nostalgic attachment, i actually really, really, really loved it. i loved how the capital wasn’t The Capital yet. i loved reading how gruesome and awful the games were at the beginning and knowing what they turn into and how they get brought down to the ground burning. i absolutely went BONKERS over the (imo) SPOILERS way the lucy was using snow the whole time (simply put, it’s more complicated than that but i don’t wanna write an essay) and then disappeared after their “love” saved her life. like whew! i still remember the way my eyeballs were bugging out of my head when i got to that part and my own interpretation of what happened. it was kind of amazing! /SPOILERS
i was very unhappy with the first photos of the movie came out. the trailer made it look less squeaky clean and modern, HOWEVER, i’m sooo annoyed with how much makeup they put on lucy. why does she look like she walked out of a photoshoot? the only time katniss was ever in full makeup was for the interviews and introductions in the capital. and it worked just fine. lucy looking like she’s just walked out of a sephora is going to drive me absolutely CRAZY. but honestly that’s my only gripe with the trailer so far. i feel like it still looks a tad too polished and “staged” when it comes to setting, but i’m willing to give it a shot.
however i’m not sure if they’re going to capture the essence of the book well in movie format. it’s not a love story, it’s a survival and villain origin story.
we’ll see though.

ok serious time now. 1) First movie you remember watching 2) Top 3 movies that changed your life 3) Best water related memory and you can interpret that however you want
what thoughtful questions 🥺
i don't remember a specific event but there were always these old sunday afternoon movies on our tv. so probably either the Sissi movies with Romy Schneider or the original Ben Hur. have you seen Ben Hur? How about that Messala, hmmm? Very gay, in retrospect
top 3 movies that changed my life? literally changed as in changed my brain i would say: definitely The Fellowship of the Ring, i saw it on video cassette when it came out and it hypnotized me. about six months later i had read all of Tolkien's book and was really into fantasy for the next few years
then we all have that one queer movie, for me it was Sommersturm. there's a boy who's coming to terms with being gay, in the way it was way back in 2004, all set in that typical german summer we all remember from when we were teenagers ... stop me i'm nostalgic. it was so bad to be queer back then. i dont even want to watch this movie now, but it meant so much to me back then. a sign that we were there, in a community like the one i grew up in.
lastly i'd say Synechodche, NY. i dont even remember a lot about it. I just think about that set, how they built the set inside the set, and then the set inside the set. very aesthetically important to me.
the water question is hard. one time some friends and me streaked in a rainstorm down one of berlin's main streets (they totally gentrified that street now) very wet

My boyfriend and I ran into his coworker the other day, and his coworker works for an akita rescue and owns the calmest, sweetest akita who is very similar to the one that I grew up with.... I got so nostalgic thinking about my childhood akita that I asked about them in terms of service work and did lots of research on them. They're highly energetic (which I can work with if I can get some accommodations first) and high shedders with a long coat that they clean by themselves similarly to a cat (again, I can work with that), and they're an incredibly intelligent and healthy dog, HOWEVER!!!! These dogs are highly aggressive with other animals and aren't very friendly to humans without some serious socialization and training involved. They're not a dog best fitted for a beginner (which I am when it comes to owning a dog, but not for caring for one daily as I grew up watching family dogs for many days on end) because they're also stubborn af. Does this make an akita an immediate no for me? Not exactly. However, that's SO MUCH to be doing all for the convenience of having a rescued purebred puppy at a lesser cost with all their health stuff taken care of, and on top of this, that's a MAJOR red flag for any service dog prospect. Especially as a cat owner who loves his cats very much. I really need to tread carefully with this idea because I know I'd be a great trainer, but I'm really nervous to get a dog that's not a beginner's dog such as a cardigan corgi, lab, collie, or standard poodle. I can't just get the akita of my dreams out of pure convenience, I'll have to do some heavy research and testing. It does give me a great idea for maybe rescuing a corgi, lab, collie, or standard poodle though!

The Broken Hearts Club – Friends Ending Eddie Munson x reader
Tumblr media
The Broken Hearts Club
Lovers Ending
Please read! A/N: Hellooo, thank you very much for all the support the first part had, honestly I was surprised to see that many liked it! As I mentioned, I will make two-second parts. This one is the friends ending, and rn I'm writing lovers ending. This idea was based on the movie 'Everything, Everywhere, All at Once' especially about how a single action can change your life completely (watch it, it's a work of art, I'm still crying). I'M STILL WORKING ON LOVERS ENDING, I MAY PUBLISH IT BETWEEN THE END OF THE WEEK AND BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK so stay tuned.
Summary: Years have passed since you moved away from Hawkins in order to fulfill your dreams. But a small invitation made you have to return to the town where you grew up, opening with it several memories and discovering new truths.
Warnings: curses, angst, fluff, sour moments, nostalgic, mentions of death, right person-wrong time trope. To understand this you should read “The Broken Hearts Club”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Days turned into weeks, into months, into years. There wasn't a day that went by that you didn't miss Eddie Munson with all your being. However, you knew you had to move on with your life. In college you met John, a guy with whom you shared several classes and went out with him and a group of friends for coffee every Friday, to talk about their lives, little by little you were meeting more people getting to have a group of friends with whom you shared everything. In November of your first year in college you decided not to return to Hawkins, maybe it was the fear of seeing Eddie or maybe you had convinced yourself that it was not the best idea to return to the past, so you spent all your vacations in your dorm which you shared with a roommate.
After a few months you and John started dating. He was everything you wanted in someone to be with you for the rest of your years, but you couldn't help but miss Eddie, sometimes you would wake up and dream of going to the kitchen of your apartment and meeting your best friend but it always ended in disappointment to find John instead.
Time went on and you were able to finish school and graduate. In a moment of courage you sent invitations to Robin, Steve and Eddie. Days later, at your graduation you were reunited with your best friend who arrived with an older looking Vicky besides her, Steve arrived in the middle of the ceremony but in time to see you go up to the stage and receive your diploma, when he saw you he only stood up with Robin to raise his arms and salute you while they celebrated for you. On that day John and Robin met.
"Meh, you're not as cute as Tom Cruise" Robin commented as she lifted her shoulders, Vicky and Steve tried to shut her up while John just laughed at the comment and nodded. You swore that seeing them all together would fill a hole in your heart. But it didn't, a part of you was trying not to cry at the disappointment.
Eddie didn’t went.
That same night you said goodbye to your friends and together with John you went to an apartment you both had rented in New York that you soon made your own as the weeks went by. There were days when you were happy as you wrote and lived life to the fullest. But there were other moments, where the city lights were accompanied by raindrops, when you thought of Eddie the most, remembering the times you had spent together, thinking of the laughs you had shared and the glances that went unnoticed by the rest to end with the sad memory of the last time you both spoke. Many sleepless nights you wondered why you hadn't waited a few more seconds, why you hadn't stopped to talk, why you hadn't just listened.
Soon you managed to publish your first book, the process was hard but not impossible and one day you finally had it in your hands. As you looked at it you felt John's presence congratulating you, but you only thought about how strange that moment felt. There was no doubt that you were happy, but you also knew that you wanted to live this part of your life together with your best friend. You had never felt so lonely as you did in that moment that should have been filled with happiness.
Years continued to pass quickly, you continued to publish several books and make your name known to people who enjoyed reading. At the celebration for your last book John gave a speech talking about how special you were and ended up getting down on one knee and asking you to marry him in front of the rest of the guests, who applauded with excitement when they saw the ring in the hand of the man in front of you. It was not the way you would have wanted to be asked to marry but you did not hesitate to say yes. The rest of your cold October days passed quietly until a letter arrived in all greens and oranges.
'86' Gen we invite you to the Hawkins High School Alumni Reunion. Don't miss!'
Your heart pounded at the thought of returning to Hawkins, returning to the town that saw you grow up and the one you hadn't visited in the last ten years. Noticing the date of the reunion you decided to quickly pack your bag, plan your trip and pause the lectures you had scheduled. John could only see you going from one place to another getting organized.
By the time it was time to leave, you were all set to return and meet up with your old colleagues. Hopefully Steve and Robin would be there too.
"Sure you don't want me to come with you?" John asked from his desk, sheets in hand ready to be sorted to form his concept to create his new book. You looked at him with a smile and shook your head.
"I'd like to go alone, see my friends, cry while we drown ourselves in alcohol and remember everything we lived through" you joked causing John to let out a serious laugh as he nodded. Your fiancé got up leaving his writing on the desk and walked over to you to kiss you.
"Remember I'm just a phone call away" He commented softly making you nod. You both shared one more kiss then parted, you grabbed your suitcase and left the apartment to head to your car.
The drive to Hawkins was too long, almost 12 hours on the road was not easy but you needed to see all that had changed in the last 10 years. The ring on your finger was shining thanks to the sun's rays coming through your window. You could perfectly remember the scenery around you as you drove into town. Many places you knew had closed, other buildings had lost their color and there weren't many people on the street anymore, everything looked grayer.
Or maybe you got used to the crazy life in New York.
You passed in front of the high school and could see several people arranging the gymnasium for the meeting that was going to happen that night, even the school looked smaller than you remembered. Arriving at the small hotel you booked a room and started to get ready, opting to wear a formal black dress for the occasion. Your nerves were growing as the time to leave for the meeting approached, the cold night did not take long to cool down the town. The walk to the school was short, from outside you could see the lights illuminate the place and the music created the atmosphere welcoming all those who wanted to enter.
"There's my favorite writer" shouted a voice making you turn around quickly. Robin stood behind you with a smile on her face, still wearing her favorite patterned jacket, ripped jeans and black Docs. The woman rushed up to you and caught you in her arms, you let out a laugh as you hugged her anyway. You had missed your best friend. Behind her was Vicky, who you quickly recognized by her reddish hair, as you separated from Robin you approached Vicky to greet her.
"At least one of us followed with her love" you jokingly commented causing another voice to join the group.
"Oh shut it, where's Johnny boy?" turning around you found Steve as he stuck his hands in his pants pockets and slowly approached. You gave a little yelp of joy and rushed over to the man to hug him and then were pulled in by Robin who wrapped Steve in a huge hug. You finally felt like you had come home.
“He stayed at home. I wanted to come alone” You answered while bringing your hand to your ear to move your hair to get a better view of your friends.
Vicky, upon seeing the ring on your finger let out a scream and hugged you again excitedly causing Robin and Steve to separate strangely, you only raised your left hand to show them the ring that adorned it causing them both to approach to congratulate you. The four of you started walking towards the gym as you talked about what had happened since you last saw each other.
"I knew it, you are going to have cute babies, I called it since highschool " Robin commented making you let out a laugh.
As you entered the place you noticed several of their former classmates who were chatting animatedly amongst themselves. It wasn't long when Robin let out a loud 'Hey!' while pointing with both hands, meters away from her were Nancy accompanied by a nice dressed Jonathan, your best friend grabbed Vicky and Steve's arms to run towards the couple, leaving you alone for a few seconds.
"Hey" Said an unmistakable voice behind you making you take a big breath of air and then turn around.
Eddie Munson stood in front of you after 10 years of not seeing him. He was taller now, you could notice a few more tattoos, he had cut his hair and grown a beard. His eyes were still the same, among the brown shades you could notice a familiar twinkle.
"Hey..." you muttered as you watched him, you didn't know what else to say, after all their last talk was the fight that had separated them. Eddie shoved his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket and swayed slowly trying to figure out what to say.
"How are you?" Said the man in front of you in a shaky voice. Eddie had missed you like crazy and to think that this was the first time you had spoken in a long time didn't help with his nerves. His question surprised you.
"All fine and nice" You turned to look at the decorated gym for a few moments then turned to see Eddie looking at you with a feeling you couldn't recognize. "Ten years already? How fast life goes by" you tried to make conversation but to no avail as you saw that Eddie was still silent. The air around him was tense and you didn't know what else to do.
"I've missed you so much ink" Eddie muttered using your old nickname causing a small pressure in your body. You couldn't hold back any longer so you moved in for a hug taking the man by surprise. However it didn't take long for him to wrap his arms around you.
"I missed you way more" you commented on his shoulder as you hugged him even tighter. You had waited for this moment for years and it had finally arrived. "What have you done? So many years you had to do something with your life" you joked as you pulled away from him. Eddie shrugged his shoulders.
"Would you believe me if I told you I´m a teacher here in Hawkins high school?" his comment made your eyes widen in surprise as the man nodded with a smile. "All my years of pissing off teachers are now coming back to me" he continued making you push him away as you laughed. Eddie came back next to you and continued. "But music club teacher!"
"No way!" you put your hands on your cheeks as you kept smiling. "You are what you swore to destroy!" you let out a laugh. "And the rest? Gareth? Jeff? The boys?" you asked.
"Gareth is a psychologist, can you believe it?" he asked as he held out his hands. You just nodded.
"Gareth was always a good listener" you commented to him as Eddie nodded. At last comfort between the two of you had returned.
"But he always gave shitty advices" Eddie commented causing you to let out a laugh. "I think Jeff went on with his dad's business, I haven't talked to him in years. The boys are still studying, sometimes I see them when they come to visit" you looked at him intently as he told you about the rest of your friends. Both of your eyes sparkled like they hadn't for years.
"I´m an author Eddie" you commented to him with a certain pride inside you. Eddie nodded as he looked at you with a small smile.
"I've read all your books" His comment surprised you. The man noticing your surprise continued. "Since I knew I had to go to the store and buy them. I recognized many things that you wrote in your books from those times you used to tell me your ideas" your eyes became crystalline when you listened to him, so many years and he still remembered the conversations you had in the same way you remembered those moments you spent together.
Seconds later you heard some shouting thanks to the reunions that were happening so you couldn't hear Eddie. The man pointed to the door while moving his lips, you only nodded and then followed him to a quieter place. Eddie opened the door for you letting you out into the dark night first and then following you. As he closed the door everything around you became silent giving you a chance to talk quietly.
"You know? I wanted to see you at my graduation" you commented as you turned to look at the sky, the stars were expectant of whatever was to come through this talk. Your arms folded across your chest trying to conserve the warmth that was escaping thanks to the cold Indiana nights. "I sent you an invitation and everything."
Eddie, noticing that you were cold, began to take off his jacket and then drape it over your shoulders in an attempt to shelter you. It still smelled like him, as if the years had not passed.
"I don't live in the trailer anymore" He commented gravely as he looked down at his hands, his fingers still bruised thanks to still playing the guitar. "I don't live there since Wayne died five years ago."
You turned to look at him quickly as your eyes glazed over, Eddie kept turning to face him trying to remain strong in the face of the news.
"How?" seeing that Eddie didn't answer you moved closer to him only to notice his eyes shining and his grimace trying not to break at that moment. "Oh Eddie."
The man only ducked his head as tears fell. He hadn't cried for Wayne in a long time but telling you the news - someone Wayne considered his daughter - reopened the wound Eddie thought had already healed. You reached out and hugged him, causing Eddie to lean into you, embracing the support you were giving him at that moment. In your throat you could feel a lump in your throat at the thought that Wayne was no longer with you. You would have called, you would have asked for him.
You would have gone back to Hawkins.
"I'm so sorry" you whispered making Eddie shake his head, after all it wasn't your fault, but the knowledge that Eddie had been alone these past few years completely tore you apart.
Minutes later Eddie pulled away from you to take a breath of air and then let it out, feeling better now that you were next to him. You just held one of his arms and leaned into it as a sort of half hug.
"But hey, I already have an apartment and I'm independent, let's be positive" Eddie commented trying to make you laugh, which he accomplished with ease. You had never forgotten how easy it was for Eddie to make you happy, it was like a gift he had perfected over the years. You continued to lean on Eddie thinking about the years you hadn't seen each other.
"All this time I thought you didn't go to my graduation because you hated me for what had happened" You commented loud enough so Eddie could hear it clearly. The man only turned his head away a little so he could see you, his eyebrows almost touching because of the frown on his face.
"Hate you? I would be incapable of hating you" He commented as he placed one of his hands on your shoulders to bring you as close to him as possible. Determined, Eddie took a big breath ready to confess. "I can't hate you because I love you."
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
He had finally said it, and it only took 15 years to do it.
You quickly backed away from him as you watched Eddie's face begin to droop.
"You can't do that," you finally said, anger beginning to take over your mind. "No...you can't come to...to...to tell me that you love me Eddie. Not like that" you claimed as you pointed your finger at his chest. "Not when I'm about to get married" Eddie nodded slowly, but he couldn't stay another day keeping what he felt, the news of your engagement hurt something inside Eddie in a deep way, after all he confessed his feelings too late.
But Eddie couldn´t stop there.
"I've always been in love with you (y/n)" The man in front of you confessed seriously making you let out a sarcastic smile at what was happening. You paced back and forth trying to control the fury you felt. Eddie just watched your reaction. It wasn't until a few minutes later that you stopped to put your hands on your face and wanted to scream.
Just like 10 years ago.
With speed you put your hands down and looked at Eddie angrily then approached him with large strides.
"And why didn't you tell me before? Why didn't you look for me? I always looked for you when we were kids, I always followed you when we were teenagers and just for once I wanted you to look for me. To follow me" You began to raise your voice as your breathing quickened and you walked around the man again. After years you were finally telling Eddie Munson all the questions that had lingered in your mind.
"I did" Eddie muttered as he watched you continue to talk.
"But I didn't even manage to get...what?" you turned to look at him quickly to see if you had heard correctly. The man in front of you dropped his shoulders as if he was carrying all the weight in the world, at the same time wetting his lips with his tongue preparing to finally say what he had done years ago.
"The same year you got into Columbia I went looking for you, to tell you how much I've loved you all these years" he confessed as he looked into your eyes. Thousands of thoughts were going through your mind at that moment, your throat closed and your eyes looked lost, as if you wanted to remember seeing Eddie in Columbia.
"But you never... surely you never found me, you would have said something" You answered in a desperate way, what Eddie had said fell like a bucket of cold water as you kept thinking of other possibilities as to why you hadn't seen him. The man wore a sad smile as he let out the air he was holding in.
"I always found you, every year I managed find you, it was like something was leading me to you. I would see you through the window but you never turned around" You could feel a lump forming in your throat, tears were beginning to fill your eyes and you had never wanted to cry as much as you did at that moment as you cursed yourself for not looking.
"Every year?" was all you could ask, then you bit your bottom lip trying to stop the sob that wanted to escape from you. Eddie only nodded as his eyes began to form a crystalline film over them.
"All the years you were in college I went to see you. I needed to see you, to know that you were okay, that you were happy" You closed your eyes as you heard his answer, tears rolled down your cheeks as you imagined Eddie looking for you, watching you from his car, traveling hours to just see you, but not to get close.
"Why...why didn't you talk to me? Why did you think it was a good idea not to tell me?" Your choppy breathing made it harder and harder to speak but you wanted to know. You needed to know. Eddie shook his head as he closed his eyes tightly letting small tears escape.
"I couldn't..." He took a breath of air. "Whenever I met you, you were always surrounded by people, and I don't doubt it, you always brighten the life of anyone who gets close to you. Your smile was huge as you chatted and waved your hands. I'm sure it was about something exciting, you always waved them when you told me something excited" Eddie let out a small laugh as he remembered those moments where they were both happy as children. "I couldn't risk approaching you and asking you to come back with me to Hawkins to give up your dream. I wouldn't forgive myself."
Your hands came up to your face to remove the moisture from it caused by the small droplets coming from your eyes. The ring on your finger felt heavy and wrong now that you knew the truth. Eddie likewise ran one of his hands across his cheeks, a sign of anxiety he had adopted since he was a kid.
"I would have picked you" you mumbled in embarrassment, it was like you were back in high school again remembering the times you talked to him and he made you blush. Eddie smiled through his tears
"I know."
They were both silent as they tried to compose themselves, the truth had never hurt as much as it did in those moments, which came 10 years later causing deeper pain. They had both moved on with their lives, they had accomplished things they would have loved to share with each other. But fate tends to be cruel and separate the most in love lovers that ever walked the earth just for the sake of entertainment.
Eddie was the first to be able to recover, he took his hand away from your face to see you better. Even 10 years later and with a noticeable change due to age, he could still see that little girl of 12 who brightened his afternoons, he could still see that young girl who dreamed of flying high for her dreams. Now in front of him was a woman who had achieved everything she was looking for, even finding love, even if it was not with him.
The man approached and gently moved your hands so he could see your shining eyes. Eddie smiled softly and placed his hands on your cheeks to look at you.
"Wayne would be proud of you" he murmured with a soft smile as he wiped away the tears that were still falling from your face with his thumbs. "I'm proud of you."
You just grabbed his wrists to pull his hands away from your face and moved in for a hug. After so many years you still missed hugging him, being close to him, feeling his body against yours and being able to feel his arms around you. Eddie put his head on top of yours as if he wanted to protect you from everything outside. Or maybe he wanted to hide you next to him so you could stay together longer.
"You didn't deserve an idiot like me, you deserved so much more" Eddie murmured over your head. "In another life I could have given you everything" you pulled away a little to see him as he had done.
"I wouldn't want everything. In another life I would have loved to just live in an apartment with you and listen to you play your guitar over and over and over again" You smiled as Eddie's eyes formed a crystalline layer of tears again. The man let out a ragged gasp of air then leaned in close and left a small kiss on your forehead.
"I love you (y/n)" Eddie murmured while his lips were still close to your forehead.
"I love you too Eddie" You took Eddie by his cheeks so you could look directly into his eyes. "But I'm in love with John."
Eddie nodded again, understanding who you meant. Heartbroken he reached over and gave you one last kiss on the forehead and then pulled away from you. The man put one hand behind his back and the other pointed towards the school gym doors, re-adopting the little performances he did in high school.
"After you, pretty lady" he mentioned in a deep voice making you let out a laugh, causing a spark of happiness inside Eddie's chest that he hadn't felt for 10 years. You just nodded as you put a hand on your chest continuing to play along.
"Thank you very much sir" The man put his arm in front of you for you to take and you both walked towards the rest of the party. You didn't take more than five steps when you stopped causing Eddie to stop as well. "You like people who read Stephen King, don't you?" you commented remembering the fight they had had in the coffee shop years ago. Eddie just smiled.
"No, I love them" he replied as he wrinkled his nose for a couple of seconds. The smile that appeared on your face cheered Eddie up strongly. Maybe his heart was hurting at that moment, but he knew that together with you everything was going to get better.
After all, Eddie Munson was invincible when his best friend was by his side.

Why did I write it this way? Because life takes many turns, sometimes in a happy way and sometimes in a shitty way, so some love stories do not have a happy ending, sometimes because of a breakup or sometimes for fear of knowing what the other person feels, and some big changes come from small insignificant actions.
But I assure you something, some of the purest signs of love are found in friends and not in a romantic relationship.
In case you feel something for someone do not hesitate to say it, you have a 50% chance to feel the same and a 75% chance to remain friends regardless of the outcome. Take this advice from a stranger on Tumblr who regrets not telling someone she loved them in time.
Live the best you can and always look out for your happiness without hurting others, people come and go but the only person who will always be by your side is yourself so love and love yourself as you would want to be loved.
I AM ALREADY WORKING WITH LOVERS ENDING TO CURE SAD HEARTS SO EXPECT IT PEOPLE!

So, you know that 8 yr little girl request? Can you do that for the rest of the mercs? (Or just scout if you're busy lol). Delete if you dont have the time to or smth!! Love your writing btw.
A / N- Decided to do only Scout because I am being flooded over here. Hope you enjoy anyway!
" Boston Kids "- about how Scout found a new sibling.
Tumblr media
Jeremy fixed the baseball hat on his head, as he walked down the empty streets. It was way too early for anyone in Boston to be enjoying the outside, yet there he was.
It wasn't everyday that he could stay in his house in Massachusetts. A vacation break was very kind of Mann Co., although in Scout's opinion it was way too short. He barely had a week to spend here. It wasn't much, and he had to make use of every minute. He wanted to spend the day with his family, catch up on everything that happened since he left, maybe help his mother with shopping and making dinner.
There was one more thing he wanted to do though- visit the place he grew up in. The small court near the suburbs. It was the place where his brothers always played with him. He wanted to see it again. And he was very close to it now, as he stood before the tall fence. The court wasn't anything impressive, just a fenced piece of gravel, painted red, with a single basketball basket. Yet, for something so simple, it was very nostalgic.
Jeremy slowly entered the court, sighing as he remembered all the things he used to do there. However, his little adventure down the memory lane came to an end, as he noticed someone else there.
A kid, maybe around 9 years old. Their clothes were a bit worned up, and they were currently dribbling a small ball between their hands. Scout smiled under breath, deciding to approach them. It was kinda odd for a child to wake up this early in the morning.
As he stood next to them, the ball escaped their hands. They wanted to pick it up, when they were met with a figure of the man. He kneeled down and picked up the ball. He wanted to give it back to them, when he noticed their sad expression.
- I'm so sorry, I didn't know it was yours. It was just sitting there.- They started explaining, tripping over words.
- It's okay, it's not mine either.- He replied, smiling at them as he throwed the ball back at them.- What are ya even doing here this early, kid?
- I uhm...I'm not supposed to talk to strangers.- The kid said, catching the ball. Scout was caught off guard.
- Oh right well...- Jeremy started mumbling.
- But you know what? You seem fine.- They started again, turning around.- I just don't have a place to stay. The town hall center is closed, and I don't want to wander around
- What about your parents?- Scout raised an eyebrow.
- If only I had any.- The kid replied, throwing the ball to the basket. The shot missed, and the ball fell to their feet again. Jeremy watched them pick the ball up again as he thought of a way to reply. Suddenly, an idea found it's way into his head. He remembered when he was a kid, his brothers would have all kinds of friends. Sometimes those friends would visit their house and eat dinner with them. At that time he didn't understand why, but as he grew older, he understood that not every family has money and/or time to cook themself. His mother was always so happy to help others, although their own situation wasn't the best. That got him an idea.
- You know, I know someone who can help.- He said, smiling under breath.
- Hm?- The kid turned back to face him again.
- That's only if ya trust me enough.- Jeremy continued.
- Well, I don't exactly have anything to lose, do I?- They said as they throwed the ball down, smiling sadly.
- Aye okay...follow me then.- Jeremy said, turning around to leave the court. He heard small footsteps behind him.
- The name's Jeremy by the way.- He added.
In the back of his head, he could already hear his mother scolding them both for waking up this early.

I Just Want A Loving Family..
It all started with a phone call. He was cleaning his office, an 80s movie playing on the computer when his phone rang. His heart nearly dropped when it said “Dad”. Hesitantly, Brett picks up and immediately gets yelled at.
His dad screams at him for ruining his sister’s competition. Brett had gone over to the stable to watch his siblings practice because apparently they still did competitions. He tried to pet one of the horses but it ended up with a back kick to his torso and a large bruise. The butler must have told them about it and the front leg was somehow injured
“What a disappointment to our family! Don’t expect to come back anytime!” was the last thing he heard before the call ends. Brett didn’t feel too good and felt his legs give out of him. His head and heart hurt. Why..? Why didn’t they care about him! Why didn’t anything he did make them proud? The movie on his computer captures his attention. A big group hug with the family, making him feel worse.
“I just want them to care.. that’s all I want..” He mumbled. Everything was spinning and the papers were flying around.
“Brett-pack.. Family!” He yelled. His eyes widened at the realization that he was turning back into that 80s monster. Panic Grew as he felt himself being lifted into the air and his vision fading.
—-
Reagan was  heading toward the clone department when she heard a smack above her. She looked and saw a book slam into Brett’s window.
“What the hell?!”  She dropped her clipboard and ran to see what was happening. Slamming opened the door and she froze at the sight.
Brett was currently kneeling in the air. There was a strong rush of air that spun paper around but the most terrifying part was that his whole eye was turning green. She could barely see his pupils.
“Brett! What happened!” She asked. He only responds with a scream and his phone lands near her. A notification pops out and Reagan reads it. It was from his dad.. a very long rant in anger about how he ruined the family and he needed to pay for a horse bil. The computer gets unplugged by the wind but not before she sees a happy family on the screen.
‘Shit! The Nostalgic Max is still in him!’ Reagan thought. It made sense, it just faded away after her words comforted him. They didn’t check if it was still in his system! What a stupid thing they forget to do. She had to calm him before he loses control
“Brett! It’s okay!”  The wind makes it hard and she’s blown back a few times but she reaches him. Her arms wrapped around his torso, hoping the hug would bring him back. However it causes a cry of pain and he flings her into the wall. Brett stares in terror as she gets up holding her arm. One of his eyes was fully green now meaning they had minutes before he’s gone
“Listen Brett! You’re family, they’re assholes! You don’t deserve being called a disappointment!” Reagan yelled, her hand reaching for him as she moved toward. Brett shakes his head, his hands grabbing his hair
“Everything I do.. They hate it!” He screams. “I just want them to look at me… Just say that they’re proud!”
“Screw them!” Reagan argued. “They’ve hurt you so much. You don’t need to make them proud! In fact, I’ll say it. I’m proud of you!”
Brett’s expression softens and he lets go of his hair. The wind slows down a bit and she manages to get in front of him. Her hand grabbed his and looked at him.
“You’ve helped Cognito so much. You manage to get our coworkers to do some actual work. And.. you’ve helped me so much through my life. All those times where you would stay and help.. I would do anything for you. God.. the world needs someone like you. Who cares about those dickheads.”
Those words made him feel warm. Tears came down his face yet he smiled. His vision cleared up and the wind died down along with the paper. Brett drops to the floor, exhaustion setting in. Reagan bends down and smiles as the green leaves his eyes,
“Do you feel better?” He nods and takes a deep breath.
“Yeah.. thanks. Sorry about throwing you. Is.. your arm okay”
“Kinda hurts but I’m fine. But.. I did see that bruise. Maybe we should get that checked out.” He shakes his head.
“I don’t want to bother anyone.”
“Hey, it’s okay.” Reagan reassured. How about after work today, we can chill on the couch and just enjoy some takeout. We can shit talk or just watch movies. That sounds nice right?”
Brett nods and he lets Reagan brings him to Infirmary
“Thanks.. for helping” He says halfway there
“You helped me and I helped you. It’s not a big deal.”
Brett smiled. Despite how much he wanted to make his family proud, maybe he could push that aside.. just for right now.

INTERESTS: writing, music, art in general, anime, games (both video and tabletop), animals, linguistics, mythology/theology, philosophical bullshit, making fun of philosophical bullshit, politics, guns (and other varieties of weapon), tech, vulgarity and misanthropy
writing: i'm a writer!! that's like, what i'm best at at the moment. my Main Project is a fantasy setting that i generally either refer to as Winds of Change (for the whole deal) or Arana (the main continent that i've developed so far). i'm currently developing a game to show it off and make other people as feral about it as i am, so i'm also learning how to make music and draw and such. but, at the moment the only skill i'd consider myself competent in is writing, so i primarily just call myself a writer!!
music: my taste is simultaneously deeply eclectic but also tends towards high amounts of specificity. i would say that my "main" genre is progressive rock and some of its derivatives, but i also love a lot of stuff like funk, soul, a small amount of metal, some IDM, whatever the hell death grips is, some early rap (mostly just NWA since that was what i grew up on), occasional jazz, like 2 indie bands, oldies, and on occasion normal people rock. artists i like include but are not limited to: yes, david bowie, king crimson, jimi hendrix, danny elfman, symphony x, dio, death grips, aphex twin, nwa, nat king cole, marty robbins, lemon demon, tally hall, jethro tull, midas, and masayoshi takanaka. i'm also told i have a nice singing voice, but i'm personally biased against such suppositions.
i like art, if you were to look through my likes (which are NOT VISIBLE ON THE TUMBR) it'd have a good amount of art. what that art is of, i'll leave to your imagination. i'm not great at drawing but i'm getting better!!
i like some varieties of anime and anime adjacent things. i'm not like, one of those anime fans though, y'know. in terms of series i like, i'd say i'm a fan of fist of the north star (i need to pick it up again), cowboy bebop (very controversial, i know(also need to pick it up again)), fullmetal alchemist (good series, one of the few i have finished), jojo (i haven't watched part 6 yet but i read the manga all the way into the end of part 7 just after part 4 had finished airing), early gen pokemon is something i come back to on occasion for mostly nostalgic reasons, i'm getting back into dragon ball (kill me), i liked gunsmith cats (the anime was only 3 episodes, you can watch it on youtube, i need to read the manga though), i somewhat recently read thru the entire original yu-gi-oh manga and was surprised at how good it was, and i read a lot of doujins!
i'm a gamer!!!!!!! i mostly love nintendo shit and PC games, and some series i'm into include zelda (arguably my first game series i was Way Into), fallout (mostly new vegas), elder scrolls (deeply love hate relationship), early pokemon, mario, the first deus ex game, portal, kotor, half life, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., a smattering of indie shit (primarily UTDR stuff), a bit of GTA, thief, pathologic, disco elysium, and MGS. i also like TTRPGs but being Extremely Alone, i'm basically screwed!!
i like animals of basically all varieties. definitely a dog person, though i also love cats.
linguistics is cool but i'm also Fucking Stupid so i haven't really gained much past a fairly surface level knowledge. doesn't stop me from trying!
mythology is cool! philosophy is cool too! to be clear i view the vast majority of it as bullshit and not to be taken seriously, but it's still interesting to think about at least!
like most human beings living in the modern age, i have a lot of very strong political views. however, i don't like to ascribe labels to myself since people generally hear the label and just fill in the blanks of what they already believe and go deaf to everything else you have to say. i feel like my stances should be fairly obvious if you listen to what i have to say, but here's my main deal in regards to this: i like freedom, not in the typical american way that's basically glorified grandstanding with deeply authoritarian tendencies, but in more of a way where i like the idea of people being able to live how they want without a threat of starving and such. i abhor bigotry, though it's very easy to say that i suppose. i try to be open minded and tend towards a live and let live attitude, y'know. i also oppose imperialism and authoritarianism, but i feel as though that should be considered the baseline
huge gun nerd. i've got Gun Autism, babey!!! don't worry, i'm not One Of Those gun people, i mostly just appreciate them from a technical level. i post a lot about guns, so if you don't like that you can either block the tag #turtlegunrant or just not follow!!!!!!!
tech, much like linguistics, is something i like quite a bit but aren't smart enough to Actually Understand. i'm also the variety of tech enthusiast who's a paranoid shithead, so i'm definitely more of a PC guy. i actually fucking hate touch screens, so i hate phones (which i know is rare for somebody born in this century). i love torrenting, piracy, and just generally downloading and archiving shit

My thoughts on the new upcoming movie "Migration"
It feels wrong to get so hyped up over a movie before it comes out, but I'm literally obsessed with to find more info on this new movie "Migration" from Illumination. After they made that new Super Mario movie and did well, but Disney failed with StrangeWorld and the live action Little Mermaid, I'm glad smaller companies like Illumination and DreamWorks are becoming more popular. According to my bestie, who's a huge Illumination fan, Illumination made more than Disney! Honestly, I'm glad! The smaller companies need a chance to shine now, and Disney is overrated. Yet, I'm afraid to get too hyped over a movie I haven't seen yet because I was excited to see Wolfwalkers, until I watched it and got offended. Same with Zootopia when it came out, hated that too. I really hope Migration turns out to be everything I want it to be!
The main reason why I think Migration looks so amazing, I see ducks and that's a huge plus for me, since ducks are my favorite bird. Also, the setting makes me feel nostalgic in a way. It looks like Duck Duck Goose, a little bit, but it looks like it takes place in the U.S and I grew up in the north eastern part of the U.S. Duck Duck Goose had a different setting, but still looked incredibly beautiful. I'm honestly a huge fan of Duck Duck Goose and I'm glad to see a movie with similar designs and that focuses on the animals, barely showing humans. However, I'm glad that it doesn't feel like a rip off of Duck Duck Goose, because it has a completely different story. Migration is apparently about a family of ducks trying to migrate somewhere warm while avoiding predators, while Duck Duck Goose has a story about a carefree goose adopting two ducklings and learning to become more mature. I think I'm still going to have a special place in my heart for Duck Duck Goose, but Migration looks like it's right up my alley!
Trolls 3 also excites me as well, I'll talk more about that next time I make a post like this. I also keep my word when I say that Disney's overrated. For a while I was like "Oh I'm starting to like Disney" after seeing Encanto and Luca, but that didn't last very long because they went back to making pointless stuff. They're crapping one live action remake after another, of stuff that's not even old enough to be remade, but honestly Elemental and Wish don't look that good either. (Wish looks fine, but the animation is throwing me off). Elemental looks as bad as Strangeworld tbh. Us DreamWorks fans, tho... we're swimming in it! Chicken Run 2, Trolls 3, and Kung Fu Panda 4!? That's the best news ever, because those are my favorite DreamWorks movies (Chicken Run, Trolls, Croods 2 New Age, Kung Fu Panda, and Home are my favs)
Anyway, tell me what YOU think! Do you agree or disagree? I wanna hear others' ideas too.

The Cursed Licca-Chan Doll

In Asia not many little girls play with Barbie’s because, they are actually very hard to find. Instead of Barbie we have Licca-Chan. Licca-Chan has many accessories and fashions just like Barbie but, unlike Barbie there is a very dark story that goes along with Licca-Chan. Pictured above is my Licca-Chan doll my Grandfather gave me for a Christmas present in 1991. This Licca-Chan is very special because, even though she is not a defective doll she was part of the defective doll batch that was made in 1991. Something happened to the doll molds that caused some of the dolls to have 3 legs. People say it was a disgruntled employee who had been fired that made the three legged Licca-Chan dolls and, mixed them in with the lot of non-defective dolls. Three is a cursed number and the employee wanted to ruin the toy line by putting cursed dolls into some of the boxes to give the company a bad reputation. The middle leg of the doll was purple and, made to look hyperrealistic. Once the company started getting complaints of the dolls they recalled them and sent out replacements. However some dolls slipped through the cracks and ended up in thrift stores. A young girl found one such doll at a thrift store. She had always wanted a Licca-Chan doll but, her Mother could not afford to buy one for her. Seeing the Licca-Chan at a thrift store the girl begged her Mother for the doll. Her Mother was hesitant because, of the dolls third leg but, ended up getting the doll for her daughter anyway. The young girl loved her Licca-Chan doll very much. Constantly playing with her and, taking the doll everywhere. However as the young girl grew into a young woman she lost interest in her toys. Her Mother eventually threw the doll out with her daughter’s other old discarded toys. Years later the young woman was home alone one night watching TV, when a commercial for a new Licca-Chan doll came on, at the end of the commercial a hotline number was shown that children could call to talk to Licca-Chan. The young woman felt nostalgic thinking about her childhood Licca-Chan doll, so she decided to call the hotline. The bright happy voice of a girl could be heard on the phone. “Hi!! It’s Licca-Chan. I am so happy you called, I’ve been waiting to hear from you. If you are happy to be talking to me press 1. The young woman smiled to herself and pressed one to hear the next message, only this is where the story took a dark turn, after pressing 1 the voice was no longer happy but, cold and calculated. “If you are happy to be hearing from me then why did you throw me away?!”. The young woman’s smile dropped from her face. This must be some sort of glitch she thought to herself and tried pressing 1 again. The cold voice responded with, “It’s cold and dark here at the dump. I want to come home.” The young woman feeling frightened hung up the phone. Only once she had hung up the phone started ringing. The young woman picked up the phone, “Hello” she said, only to hear that cold voice once again. “Now that you want to hear from me I am coming home. I’m leaving the dump now.” The young woman slammed the phone down. This was someone’s idea of a sick joke and she wasn’t going to play along. The young woman dialed the hotline to speak with a representative. Only it wasn’t the representative that answered, “Hi this is Licca-Chan. I’m on the bus now coming home. I’ll be there soon.” The young woman hung up. This was ridiculous did this person really have nothing better to do than try and scare people? The phone started to ring again. The young woman picked up the phone, “Hello” she said. “Hi it’s Licca-Chan I’m at your building”. The young woman started to shake,” this is all a joke, just a joke..” Suddenly there was a knock at the door. The woman looked at the door wide eyed, “This is just a coincidence, it’s probably just a neighbor” Gathering all her strength the young woman quickly flung the door open and saw… nothing. The woman sighed with relief but, then heard a voice directly behind her say, “Thanks for letting me in.”

With this unpredictable, unfathomable world awaiting
My last drawing for the new year. I know, I know, these last past months I haven't really uploaded much; however, I couldn't just let this year go without a bang.
I think this is the simplest of drawings that I've offered for New Years in recent years; however, that doesn't mean it is without meaning.
I'm not going to lie, I was never actively interested in the Pokémon anime. When I was a very young kid, I was a bit into it, but as I grew older, I began to join the ''why is Satoshi the protagonist urgh'' hate bandwagon. Obviously this was during my teen years, so once again, when I hit my 20s or so, I left those feelings aside and simply viewed Satoshi and the Pokémon anime as a whole as something neutral. Something that did not impact my daily life and that I didn't love, nor hate.
Then everything changed when I met my dear friend @bloodedgekindred all these years ago. It didn't happen right away of course, but once the SuMo anime ended and the first episodes of the new series had released, I was intrigued by the character of Gou. He had such a cool design, and I liked the dynamic he seemed to have with Satoshi. So, in the end, I decided to give it a watch, popping in every weekend to hang out with my friend and join in on Satoshi's adventures together.
Three years later... it was announced that Satoshi's adventures would come to an end. And it hit me. It hit me so hard I'd stay up tearing up at the prospect. Sure, the anime reassures us that he'll keep on travelling and meeting new people, living new experiences... but, it won't be the same. Because we won't be able to join him on his adventures anymore. We won't be witnesses to that anymore.
I'm not going to lie, I don't consider myself an AniPoke fan; not a true one anyway, as I haven't watched the anime in its entirety. And even then, I'm feeling so strongly about this. And it's all because Satoshi and Pikachu actually meant more to me than I realized. Because they've been there since I had use of reason. Their existence is shrouded in nostalgic memories of being a little kid and popping in after lunchtime to watch this cool series about a kid my age (back then) and his electric mouse. Of growing older, joining the crowd of people that despised him, only to find his existence tolerable and unimpactful. And also, the memories of first deciding to watch the newer anime alongside my dear friend, and growing attached to him.
And now, he'll depart. Satoshi, the reckless yet amicable kid that's been with you since the beginning. And even when you lost contact with him, you were aware he was living alongside you. Even during those times where you despised him, you just didn't realize just how much comfort his existence brought you. Because he's always been there. And now he will no longer.
I feel a bit stupid. I feel happy for him, for achieving so much. But I also feel sad, like a divorced parent that managed to catch a glimpse of my child's greatness just after spending years and years too absent to see them making their way to said greatness. I didn't appreciate him enough, and now that he'll be gone, there's a lot of emotions I'm dealing with.
This drawing is meant to symbolize that. There's sadness, but there's happiness and pride too. The way ahead is scary, blinding, uncertain. But with friends, anything is possible.
Happy New Year everyone. As scary as things may seem, I hope this next year will be full of exciting things ❤️

The storm that was raging outside reminded Enid of a beast, snarling and howling as the rain beat against the glass leading out to the balcony. Neither she nor Wednesday had been able to sleep because of the storm, her reasoning being that it was too loud, however Wednesday had another reaction.
Wednesday didn't turn anxious because of the wind or thunder. No, she became almost energized by it. Dark eyes tracing the dancing lightening through the clouds with a sort of enchanted glow that was akin to a child watching circus acrobats perform.
It was almost amusing really, watching the usual stoic girl seem excited by anything, no matter how unusual.
"Night like this makes me almost nostalgic." Wednesday surprised her by beginning "some of the most enjoyable times I had growing up was on nights like these."
Enid couldn't help but grin at the fact that the other girl was opening up about not only her past but her family.
"you almost sound like you had fun." Enid teased, earning a look although Wednesday nodded.
"Sometimes mother would sit in the window with Pugsley and I in the sitting room and tell us stories of Zeus and Thor and the great battles they fought. Our favorite to hear about was Xolotl."
Enid didn't think she ever heard Wednesday talk about her family in a positive light before, not like this.
"my father and uncle Fester would sometimes spar in the heart of the storm, Fester channeling the static energy from the air to add power to his own currents and father trying to outwit him with saber and skill. It was such a terrible display...very exciting."
Enid could imagine that. Wednesday as a child watching with wide eyed wonder as she watched the men spar.
"so you do have good memories of your parents."
Enid couldn't help but point out, earning a sigh.
"outside of their idiotic displays toward each other they used to not be so infuriating." Wednesday responded, sighing slightly as she turned from the window.
"or rather you grew up and you're just difficult?" Enid dared retort, earning a face full of pillow.
"you're lucky that wasn't a brick."
Enid just laughed, this whole situation almost normal.
"you wouldn't hurt me and you know it."
"you really want to try me, Sinclair?"
