“I could see that,” Derek said. He was still wolfed out, eyes glowing red, staring down at Stiles like he didn’t know what to make of him.

When Derek took a step forward, hand outstretched to help him up, Stiles raised his crossbow and fired. Derek leapt back a step, looking down at himself, then turned when he heard a thump, the second Omega in the area flat on its face with an arrow in its head.

Turning back to Stiles slowly, Derek frowned down at him. “You saved me.”

“I saved myself,” Stiles insisted, getting to his feet on his own.

Sheriff Stillinski changed his patrol route the night of the Hale House Fire and witnessed Kate at the scene. Kate kills the Sheriff, stealing Talia's claws off of her corpse to fake his death as a werewolf casualty and give her an excuse for killing the Hales. To cover her tracks she checks on his family to find Claudia already mentally impaired with illness and a young Stiles reading above his age level.

That night Mieczyslaw "Stiles" Stillinski disappears from Beacon Hills and Seth Tyler "Styles" Argent is born.

Hello! I'm looking for a fic that is a bit similar I think to "Bad Blood" by DiscontentedWinter : I remember Stiles being adopted-ish by the Argent (I think Allison calls him her cousin), and is being hurt by Kate during "training". I remember a scene where the Hale pack wonders why Allison is worried about Stiles if he's going with Kate, and she knows she's going to hurt him during "training". If someone remembers it, that'd be awesome, I looked through the 'hunter stiles' tag on AO3 but.. :/
