Videos like these really helped me when I need accountability in my journey I remember how, once upon a time, any form of accountability would irk me. I’d get furious and accuse people of victim-blaming when they’d tell me I was the the reason of my own problems.

Obviously as I learned more, this perspective started to shift. The idea that I am the one who’s giving myself my dream life began to comfort me. I realized that my reactions to the 3D world had, in fact, shaped my reality.

I know I couldn't help it or asked for it, but once I became aware of the law, I knew that moving forward, I had to take accountability - even for circumstances I didn’t choose. This realization was a double-edged sword, but ultimately, a good thing.

It's the same principle that allows you to manifest anything and completely transform your life, to achieve anything you desire. But to truly grasp that you are the creator of your reality, you must also acknowledge that the feeling of being stuck and going nowhere is also a result of your own creation.

At first, this realization hurts. But it’s empowering to know that not only can you obliterate your own perceived “limits” and manifest everything you want, but also that everything will be attributed to you. Not to God, not to your spirit guides, not to Tumblr bloggers, not to luck. Only you.

Of course, the people, content, religion (if you so believe) and spiritual-based things you interact with can definitely help, and for that, you can be grateful. But in the end, remember this: You are the master of your destiny and the sculptor of your own dreams.

For this pile I’m seeing your strongest psychic abilities is your ability to manifest into the physical whatever it is you desire, you’d also be really good at witchcraft for this reason especially working with herbs and earthly things, a practical routine could suit you very well especially if you’re more of a logical person the more steps there is to something the more you may believe it’ll actually work since your putting effort into something you also without realizing it are putting intentions into it and greater energy which allows the power to manifest. okayy so as soon as i lit my incense, the flame was big and continued to grow in size. it was a bit hard for me to blow it out at first, but don't worry, i did lol. to me, this indicates very fiery and passionate energy, and that it must be contained before it gets out of control and engulfs everything in it's path.

how do your psychic abilities manifest? your psychic abilities manifest in a way that makes others want to cling onto your energy for dear life. people refuse to let go of you. even if they don't speak to you, they will still think of you, check up on you online, ask people about you, be inspired by you, etc.  i feel like there's a lot of people from your past who are "stuck" on you, even those who claim not to like you (they're literally in love with you.) and although i said you avert danger, i feel like danger still lingers. to give you a visual, i imagine danger as some person looking at you through the window of your house; they can't get in, but they are watching. this could be in terms of evil eye and baneful magick towards you. i'm also getting that your abilities manifest in the way that others speak to you and about you. for example, people tend to feel very seduced by you so they flirt with you. another example, people don't want the connection with you to change so they over-explain and basically kiss your ass to stay on great terms with you. this feels kind of obvious but your abilities manifest in forms of creativity and random moments of intense inspiration that you get. if you randomly get the urge to write a song, write a book, draw something or make a piece of clothing, it's because your abilities are looking for an energetic outlet. you may tend to keep your abilities to yourself but they are begging to be released and seen/heard by others (3:33 on my clock) because whenever you do something creating, it is being driven by the powers you have within you and you're pretty much doing magick by creating, even if it is just a piece of clothing or writing on a paper. your abilities manifest in the littlest things you do, whether it be taking a bath, smoking a cigarette, laughing at something funny, dressing up to go out. all of it is, of course, inspired by your psychic abilities because they're so magnetizing that even you tend to get hypnotized by them. however, i do feel like whenever you're feeling extremely angry/sad/bitter, then it can manifest some chaos into your life if you don't release these emotions as calmly and quickly as possible. bottling up your emotions is not at all good for you and those around you because of how powerful you naturally are. i feel like you don't have to worry too much because of the fact that you're very protected, but it's still important to keep that in mind. your abilities also manifest in the way that you love and care for others, so i can definitely see a protective shield around those you love simply just because you love them. your abilities may also manifest in those you love and they become more enlightened in their own ways.

how to strengthen your gifts: as i shuffled an image of someone smoking (specifically a blunt, but could be anything) came into my head, so i think that smoking certain herbs (please study which herbs are safe to smoke) can strengthen your abilities! i feel like even smoking marijuana could be beneficial (when monetized) because it can help you analyze more and open up your mind. but, of course, marijuana does not impact everyone the same, so only take that if it resonates. also, meditate!!! meditation really helps to clear the mind of any excess "junk" floating around in there and helps for clearer intuition. if you already meditate, then maybe meditating for a few more minutes or lighting an incense while you meditate could enhance the effects. deep breaths will help you clear your mind as well. this is a pretty obvious one but the more shadow work you do, the stronger your abilities become. i feel like your abilities get "watered down" after long moments of not doing shadow work; this could be for many different reasons but a specific reason i'm getting is because when you don't do shadow work, you tend to be a bit more impulsive/chaotic therefore your abilities weaken for your own good. your abilities strengthen whenever you challenge yourself and allow some healthy competition into your energy. also, sleep!! when you get the amount of sleep that you need, it's easier to control and hone in on your abilities. whenever you take time to be alone and self-reflect, realign yourself and do shadow work, your abilities strengthen immensely. another way that you can strengthen your gifts is simply by not giving up; this shows that you're more than capable of what you got and that you're ready for more. 

PILE FOUR @daarlingdatura This is an interesting pile, I see that you may be someone who is able to predict loss, disaster, and other "negative" events. You are someone who's abilities are deeply rooted in their emotions & the impressions of energy around them. You're reflective, "like a pond" I heard. It's important that you take ample rest from social situations as necessary. I definitely see here that you may be someone who also knows how to like... take on the minds of other people? You can think through their heads if that makes sense. I also sense that you may be able to channel energy or intentions through your hands to bless, heal, hex, curse, or effect things in some way. It's interesting because I definitely feel like your nightmares could end up often being signs. You may also unintentionally dream walk, I see that you may also be prone to anxiety that isn't yours. this inclines me to deduce that a gradual slow burn between the reader and him is most feasible out of anything else !! a ridiculous, absurd amount of pining, longing, heart ache, and bottles of…adult juice chugged and discarded— culminating to a confession and eventual relationship ♡

You know that thing Barbatos does when he has incredible luck and uses it in MC's favor? Yeah, I love that.

So it's canon that he has excellent luck, and while some people would use this to their own advantage and gain, he will ALWAYS use it to make MC happy. What a sweetheart.

While he would use his luck when MC and him are on the same team so they'll win, I can also see him subtly using it to give MC's team luck when he's on another team. (Much to his teammates' dismay. Although he's so sneaky, they'd never suspect it anyways.)

At the end of the day, his goal is to always see MC smile, and I think that's SO CUTE!

Imagine you're pulling gacha, and Barbatos sees you from afar, so he gives you a little push of good luck and stands back to watch you celebrate when you get the card you wanted. He'd enjoy the show and slip away when you turn around to his direction after you hear a small chuckle.

I've been thinking about why Barbatos has such good luck. I mean, you could just chalk it up to him being the powerful being that he is to the point that being in his very presence simply bestows luck upon you~

Buuuuut I kinda like thinking of it as part of him being a greed demon. I don't believe this is explicitly stated in the game anywhere and I'm pretty sure the headcanon for it stems from the fact that when you give Barbatos a glow stick in the OG, it's a yellow one for greed, thus implying that Barbatos himself is a greed demon.

If this is the case, it kinda makes sense that he'd have good luck. I can't quite remember where it says it in NB, but they did say something about how when Mammon likes someone, they have good luck. So I think it would be funny if that particular trait of greed also manifests in Barbatos.

In his case, I like to think of it as he's just so powerful it's kind of amplified to encompass anybody who happens to be near enough to him at the time. But then he can also deliberately direct it toward people he likes (such as MC).

But I fully agree that Barbatos would always use that good luck of his to make MC happy. He's done it enough times that there's no doubt that he just wants to see MC smile.

I love the idea that he does it without MC realizing, too. Definitely like that scenario you describe where he just sort of chuckles and disappears.

I personally am a somewhat superstitious person in that I like to believe in good luck. I have all kinds of good luck charms and little things I do for luck. And I just loooove the idea of Barb being my own personal good luck charm.

You hated being a Never.

When your parents found out, they were elated. Their darling child was following in their footsteps. They couldn’t be happier. 

But, here you are, in the dead of winter, locked outside in the courtyard of the School for Evil after your classmates decided to play a cruel prank on you.

At lunch, through the chaos of laughter and mockery of the Evers, you arrived at your seat to find a scented envelope on the seared tablecloth. You opened it and looked upon the loopy cursive writing of the Ever you had a massive crush on.

‘I know it’s not allowed, but I was thinking we could meet at the Nevers’ courtyard at ten. Come alone.’

Butterflies filled your chest. They wanted to talk. They actually wanted to talk. The day couldn’t have gone by slower, and you even got in trouble in a couple of classes for zoning out. 

When it was ten minutes to ten, you giggled away with your dormmates as they made sure you looked your best. 

“Okay,” you breathed. “Wish me luck!”

You hurried through the castle, praying to the gods above that no wolf guards would stumble upon you. When you got to the door that led to the courtyard, you rushed out with a smile, only for it to drop when you heard giggling behind you and the sound of a lock clicking. 

Tears started to fall and you could see puffs of your breath in the frigid air as you ran over to the door. 

“This isn’t funny!” you shouted. “Let me back in! Come on, guys!”

You watched as they ran away laughing and sank to the ground. Within an hour, you were shivering, teeth chattering and fingers numb. 

“You shouldn’t be out here.”

A voice cut through the harsh winter air and you looked up. Lady Lesso towered over you and you quickly got to your feet. “Um…Lady Lesso…I’m sorry–I’m–some classmates locked me out and–”

Lesso listened to your explanation (“I know this was partially my fault, but it’s still an awful thing to do!”)  before ushering you inside. “Enough of your rambling, let’s go.”

Your stomach churned as you thought about the possibility of what could await you in detention. Rumors had spread throughout both schools at what the doom room contained. Multiple students had been subjected to it and you had no desire to experience it. But, a wave of relief washed over you when you completely bypassed the doom room. 

“Where are we going?” you asked.

Lesso ignored the question, instead leading you through the castle and down a set of dark and eerie stairs. Every possible outcome raced through your head and none of them were good.

The both of you ended in a dark room until Lesso raised her hand and directed her pointer finger at a candle, lighting each one in the room. The kitchens of the school were lit in front of you along with a fire in the hearth. 

As you stood there, Lesso walked over to the hearth and pulled up a chair before going over to a sink and filling a kettle with water. She started a fire in the wood-burning stove and set it down, getting a cup and tea bag from a cabinet.

She glanced your way and sighed. “Are you going to just stand there, or are you going to take a seat?”

Wordlessly, you walked to the seat that was in front of the hearth and sat down. Your skin prickled at the feeling of the heat radiating from the fire in front of you. 

An Awkward silence filled the room and Lesso came over with the cup of tea she prepared for you, taking it as she manifested a blanket out of thin air and handed it to you.

“Um…I hope you don’t mind me asking,” you began, “but…why are you doing this? You don’t exactly seem like the kind of…well…caring sort of person.”

Lesso pursed her lips and pulled up her own chair. “I won’t lie. You remind me of myself–just a bit. The same thing happened to me. Not the exact same situation with a crush on an Ever, but still.”

“Oh,” you muttered, taking a sip of the tea. “Well, thank you.”

You never thought Lesso was one to be caring. Her sharp tongue had given the impression that she was cold-hearted and cared for no one but herself. But, at this moment, you saw her in a different light–as if maternal nature came natural to her, but she purposefully pushed it down.

“Who were they?” Lesso asked.

“What?”

She sighed. “The classmates. Who were they?”

You thought back to the previous hour and tried to remember their faces before listing off the ones you could remember. The group had been relentlessly bullying you ever since you arrived at the school. 

Perhaps detention with Lesso would turn their actions around.

At that moment, Marian was none too happy with her brother.  She kicked a rock from out of her way as she ventured from home, just past the forked birch that marked the pathway to their doorstep, and watched it skitter across the dirt before it bounced into the grass. Having not returned by suppertime, their parents had deigned to send her after her wayward twin—her, of all people, when she’d been so careful to return before sunset, and without so much as a roll to tide her over. Her stomach growled. The scowl twisting her face, she imagined, would be absolutely terrifying, once Garrett laid eyes upon it. Soon, he would know her wrath. Luck appeared to pity her somewhat, at the very least. Just over the rise she caught sight of him, a slow-moving but recognizable silhouette against a sky going dark, and her pace quickened to meet him as she attempted to soothe her prickling irritation at his unhurried pace. I can badger him all I want, once I’ve dragged him back home and filled my belly, she reminded herself. At least it seems he made some effort to be home before nightfall—or by, more like.  “Honestly, Garrett,” she lifted her hands to cup her mouth, shouting down the path to her brother, “are you trying to starve me? You promised me you’d be home before—” As the light caught up with him her words and anger faltered, and her feet skid to a stop. His fists were balled and white, chubby face flushed and tense, and his eyes… There were tears, though he tried to hide it with a swipe of his sleeve. Tinged red, just as his swollen cheek was. She needn’t see the rest of him, to know what it was that had happened. “Who was it?” Marian’s teeth clenched, and she felt her own face grow unbearably hot, her own fingers ball. “Who did this to you?” “I just want to go home, Mari.” “Tell me first,” she argued, burning now with anger, “and I’ll beat their bloody arses, I will. I’ll—I’ll—” “Marian!” The urgency of his tone was enough to stall her, and her sight cleared enough to catch the flickering light across his face. He sighed, terse. “You’re on fire again, sister.”  She looked at her hands to find them, sure enough, wrapped by flames. There was momentary panic as again her magic manifested outside her control, quickly swallowing breaths just as Papa had taught until, slowly, they ebbed and dispersed. It was enough to rein her mind back in, to distance herself from that anger. Garrett had crossed his arms by the time she was finished, and looked away into the fields beyond their home. “Who was it?” “The Gower boys,” he mumbled, looking down. “Why didn’t you fight back? They’re wusses.” “‘Cause Dad says we have to be extra careful, now, or else we might…” his eyes strayed back her way, gesturing limply at her scorched shirt sleeves. “You know.” Her cheeks were warm again, but not from anger this time. “We have to be careful, or Papa might get in trouble,” she repeated, mostly to herself. “I know.”  It was true, she knew it, but it wasn’t fair. Why did they get to hurt Garrett, and she couldn’t hurt them back? Already the hit he’d taken had swelled: it would make one nasty shiner, it would. And speaking of Garrett, he looked so bloody bothered by it all, and she didn’t like that one bit. Maybe she could help with that much, and what remained of her annoyance, too. “...But it would scare them right good, though, wouldn’t it? If you did. They’d deserve it, too, and run with their tails between their legs—” He snorted a laugh. She could see him trying to stop it, but still it got free. “...I bet their faces would scrunch up, too.” “Like this,” she added, and put on her best rendition. long version they were friends!! in college!!!! hmm the details are fuzzy because it's been a while but iirc they had a class together, and had to work together for a partnered project. they both have horrible people skills so making friends outside of the project was a little hard. and eventually, they just kept gravitating towards each other until they suddenly realized they were. best friends(?) yeah let's go with that

at some point very early on in the friendship, knightley got a bit of a crush on him. which he confessed when they became more comfortable with each other. he was rejected, since ar.tem didn't want to get involved in any kind of dating life yet. but after some awkward tip-toeing around each other they went back to being best friends in no time

halfway into college, they got sick of the dorms and decided they would be much better roommates for each other than everyone else and proceeded to move into ar.tem's house. not in a gay way i promise. they only cuddle sometimes i swear-

okay now the Really funny thing happens after they graduate. and after ar.tem gets every single promotion he could ever get

Karlach had the lead in this conversation because I had clicked on her in a desperate attempt to get out of the environmental turn that was nuking everyone, and she looked utterly bemused by this whole conversation.

"I have upon my deceased person a magical item that can accomplish my return, but such is the value and rarity that it is protected by a multi-level security protocol. I will now explain the protocol. Step one is to retrieve from my person a pouch I wear over my heart. Next you must unthread the purple seam that seals it in a counterclockwise fashion. Do not touch any other colored strand. Inside the pouch, you will find a folded letter and a tiny flute. Unfold the letter, and note the markings in the top and bottom corners. By the time I managed to get the game back into turn-based mode (it dropped out of it when Hector went down, I think, and then everyone just stood there getting repeatedly blasted by the Lasers of Selune), Hector and Gale were both dead, Karlach was downed, and Shadowheart was barely able to help her up and get them both back under cover. So the current state of play is Karlach (1 HP), Shadowheart (12 HP), two dead humans, a dead minotaur we were fighting when this all went down, and two really vigorous lasers.

I'd prefer not to have to reload especially after that whole spiel from Gale. XD so gonna quickly have K&S look around and see if they can find an off switch.

Gale and Hector just have their dead bodies smoking in the party inventory screen.

The lasers seem connected to a statue of Selune at the center of the area. I wasn't able to find an interaction point before but now that the stakes are higher maybe there's something to see.

The gem at the top is destructable which seems like a good place to start.

Shooting it from the top of the stairs seems to have turned off the lasers - and also gave Shadowheart inspiration for destroying a Selunite relic. XD

The next exciting challenge is dealing with the necrotic aura Gale is exuding, which makes it more than a little challenging to get at his security system in the first place. But we got there in the end (after a short rest so Karlach didn't keep passing out every time she got near him).

Here we go. Amusingly, we did indeed have to go through all those steps to get this whole business sorted. Luckily I already copied it all out as part of writing this post. XD The notes we had to play in the second step spell out D-E-A-D, because Gale is, as previously mentioned, incredibly extra. :P

Hector, despite currently being literally dead, got inspired by us correctly following all the instructions and getting the true resurrection scroll. Shadowheart was also inspired by us resurrecting someone. We were also able to use a Revivify scroll to get Hector up too!

Success! (I accidentally stole Gale's clothes when I took all his stuff whoops.)

he had been for such a long time, simply manifesting into being one night by the dying embers of a pizza oven recently smothered out for the night. many only knew him as a blessing, as good luck that blessed struggling restaurants just trying to bring a dream to life and good food to those in their community. these aspirational cooks would open one day to find their supplies fully stocked with fresh and flavorful ingredients, their food tasting better than it ever had, and a general sense of good cheer and positive energy flowing around their kitchen.

over time, though, he had taken to visiting these places, tasting their food for themselves, cooking alongside them, learning and sharing what he had learned. he enjoyed these experiences the most, as the places he came upon were always changed when he left them. some for better, others that had disrespected him and mocked the very art of cooking itself for worse. he wasn't a saint nor did he claim to be, some shit did NOT fly for him.

over time, he'd worn out. the coloration of his physical form dimmed, faded, like a sign painted too long ago and never retouched. if you inspected his skin closely, you'd notice the texture of woodgrain on his skin instead of flesh. and how his hands had worn out, covered in scratches and scuffs. he kept his hands busy. but when had anyone ever taken care of them, after their work for a day was done?

not until her. this one girl, this mortal. who somehow found the little restaurant at the very edge of town, the one nobody was really supposed to be able to anymore unless he wanted them to, the place of his creation long since forgotten by time. and she hadn't been brought by a pure and curious heart, or by the desire to learn the secrets of becoming a great chef. no, she got there because she hated being around people and just wanted to find one fuckin' place to eat that nobody else would be.

peppino was. still a little baffled as to how that had worked out for her.

but thank god ... oh, thank god it had. because she kept coming back. she kept patronizing his little forgotten pizzeria, and revitalizing his passion for the art. not as an obligation, a debt he must repay to humanity over and over, forever, for giving him life and purpose for being. but as his own gift, his own art. something his own, which he now shared with her on a fairly regular basis.

and over that time, he was looking even better. the color was restored to his outfit, the redness of his cheeks rosier than it had been in decades, and when he smiled, it didn't look so haggard all the time.

he'd never let himself be so selfishly attached to anything ... or anyone. he usually floated through other people's lives, keeping in touch with a scant few. but with her, he found himself coveting the time she gave to him. hanging intently to each word, finding every excuse to touch her casually.

he felt so ... good. and he felt so terrified, too. because this was new. this was not a thing he had ever looked for or wanted. not until her. and maybe never again after. so he had to savor it while it lasted. enjoy the sweetness of an entirely new flavor, one he'd grown so terribly and immensely fond of.
