That didn’t mean he was prepared to see him with those half-lidded blank eyes, nearly dead to the world, blood coating his skin like the phlegm of a newborn, large red welts arced all across his back. Leona held him there, almost forgetting to breathe himself, his blood quickly covering his hands, but there was nothing he could do that would help in a way that mattered. He just…used a little healing magic. There was only so much he could do, without a stone and with too much blot accumulation already, but he didn’t care. He didn’t care about the eyes of the guard staring at him, either.

Out of all of your FFXIV ocs, who's your favorite, if any? Can be for any reason: to write, to draw, to gpose, etc.!

That is a difficult question! I suppose the easiest and most likely true answer is Silvaire! His narrative is long and complicated and carries both my love for FF11 as well as FF14! I draw him the most, as well as write his content the easiest. But Auheron is a close second cause he's near and dear to my heart due to the emotional ouch I have towards 1.0 and his entire narrative with his father Louisoix and the Twins (his neice/nephew) ;; and considering all that happened in Endwalker it made his narrative come loop back around! It was a great time. To answer!! I'd go with Silvaire! He has the most complex relationship to any potential interactions, both from his potential 'was the garlean hound who caused the impact of someone else's narrative' to 'a simple stranger who pushes the boundries of someone else just to see what happens' --- and with Dawntrail characterization 'His real self dealing with the consequences of all the actions of Mephistopheles.'

(Whillow and Ji Ji share a similar narrative of 'fish out of water' but in different ways so they share the same writing vibe sometimes, but I do love them!)

It's kind of funny that Piers has had a lot more interaction with his My Hero verse versus his canon Pokemon self. That being said, what kind of shape does Piers' quirk beast thing take when he forms it?

Honestly, I really feel like whatever Sorkin writes is only as good as his actors. His writing has massive flaws, even with how catchy and snarky and fun and lyrical it can be, but depending on who you cast, it really fills the gap between “talking head doing incredibly pretentious dialogue” and “actual character you should care for” and kind of hides the flaws. Yes, this is the start of my ramble on why The West Wing works while The Newsroom doesn’t, despite both shows being … very flawed LOL
