Hazel carefully walks you to your shared apartment. Shes stone cold sober as the designated driver of the night. One of her hands guiding you on the small the of your back up the other holing your hand. Trying her absolute best to keep you upright while going up the stairs.

“Tonigh… was s’fun b-baby.” You slurred out nearly tripping from taking your attention away from walking. “Sure was honey let’s get you inside alright?” Hazel replied shortly steadying you again.

“O-ok baby” You were drunk, not so drunk to be throwing up but enough to hinder your mood. With no dance floor being drunk wasnt as fun. All you wanted to do was sleep in Hazels arms for the rest of the night.

Hazels quick to open the door, place you inside, and close it again all with her steady hand still on you. Leading you to the bedroom where you promptly flop onto the bed.

a/n Wednesday is kinda mean at the beginning I'm ngl, but it's just bc shes overheated and stressed I swear

You were rather excited for the day, considering it had been rainy and cold for the past few weeks at Nevermore. Enid decided to seize the good weather while it lasted and organized a day at the lake with Yoko, Divina, Ajax, Xavier, Eugene, and Wednesday. You were surprised your girlfriend actually agreed to come along, considering her distaste for the sun and anything considered fun.

Here she was though, sitting beside you under an umbrella and looking mildly displeased, as per usual. She wore a long sleeve swim shirt and knee length shorts, which you thought were far too hot for the level of humidity today. You had offered her one of your short sleeves but she had quickly rejected the idea. She said it was because she didn't want any more of her skin exposed to the "harmful UV rays" than necessary. You knew that was a lie.

Wednesday may always seem perfectly confident and strong and self assured but you knew she was insecure. It took her three months of dating you to feel comfortable enough to wear a tank-top around you, and another two to wear shorts shorter than knee length. You always did your best to reassure her and tell her she was beautiful- perfect even. Your words could only do so much however, when her own self image was so skewed.

"Do you want to go swimming, Wednesday?" You asked her with a grin as you stood up from where you were sitting on your towel in the sun. She glanced at you with an unimpressed look.

"No, I don't feel the need to flail around in the water like an invalid." She snapped, her tone clipped. You wilted under her words, feeling a bit dumb for even asking.

"Oh." You mumble, feeling embarrassed. "Sorry. Well- do you mind if I go swim? Or do you want me to stay here and keep you company?" You ask shyly, shifting on your feet. You really wanted to swim, you were sweating already and Xavier, Ajax, Eugene, and Enid were playing with a beachball in the water, which looked way too fun. If Wednesday wanted you to stay you would stay however, you would much rather keep her company than leave her to sit alone in the shade. Especially since you felt guilty for dragging her along.

"No, I don't mind. Just because I don't find it enjoyable doesn't mean you can't have... fun." She said the word 'fun' like it plagued her. You searched her expression to make sure she was certain, and you couldn't help but smile at the the way her eyes softened as she looked at you. She let out a tiny sigh and you noticed the sweat beading at her brow from the humidity.

"Okay. Well if you want to join me feel free." You say with an inviting smile, leaning down to give Wednesday a kiss before leaving. She leaned slightly away from you before you could, and you pulled away, giving her space. You noticed the way her eyes darted to Yoko and Divina who were sitting a few feet away chatting amicably. When she was sure they weren't looking in your direction she leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on your lips. You couldn't help but giggle.

"Wednesday, they know we're dating, why do you care so much if they see us kiss?" You tease as Wednesday rolls her eyes.

"Public displays of affection are not my forte." Is all she offers as she leans back on her hands and looks up at you with a nonchalant expression. You see through it though and notice the blush tinting the tips of her ears. The truth was Wednesday was a bit shy when it came to openly expressing her affections with you. She did love you, and she has said so many times, but she also found it embarrassing to be so openly vulnerable in a public space. She felt off put by her own feelings, so used to always being stoic and unaffected.

"You never care when Enid sees us kiss." You protest with a smirk, and an exasperated expression crosses Wednesday's face.

"Yes, well. That's just Enid." She replies simply, shrugging slightly. You found it sweet how comfortable Wednesday had grown with her best friend. It made sense, considering how close the two are after the Hyde attack. You still found it adorable how much Wednesday trusted Enid, even with all her reservations about the werewolf.

"Whatever you say baby." You say with a grin before standing up again and skipping down to the water. As soon as you stepped into the waves you tensed. It was cold. You could feel Wednesday's eyes boring into your back so you turned around and gave her a bright smile and a thumbs up. "The water feels great, you should join me!" You shout, trying to convince your girlfriend to swim. She simply offers an unimpressed and dismissive wave, and you shrug, turning back to the water.

You slowly wade into the lake, moving over to Xavier, Ajax, Eugene and Enid. Enid spots you first and excitedly splashes over to you, causing you to flinch as cold droplets of water land on your face.

"(Y/n)! Want to play pass with us?" Enid asks enthusiastically, gripping your shoulders with her cold hands. You shiver under her touch but smile nonetheless.

"Of course!" You reply enthusiastically causing Enid to squeal in delight. You follow her over to the boys and join in the game, laughing as you dive to try and keep the ball in the air. You play for quite a while before the boys decide to climb up a ledge near the water and jump off.

"Come on (Y/n), aren't you gonna jump too? Or are you too scared." Xavier taunts from the ledge as Ajax does a flip into the water. You know Xavier is just trying to goad you, he's been jealous of you ever since you first started dating Wednesday. You're about to say no when Ajax resurfaces with a laugh.

"Come on (Y/n), it's fun I swear!" He insists as he climbs up on the ledge once more, watching as Eugene jumps off next. Xavier is smirking down at you as he thinks you're about to say no, and you feel indignance rise within you. You glance back at the beach to see Wednesday watching the interaction with a bored expression. 'I want to impress her.' The thought is sudden and loud in your mind, and despite your better judgement you begin the climb.

"Alright, you guys ready to see a real splash?" You ask with faux macho as you climb up beside Ajax. He grins and claps you on the shoulder encouragingly.

"Hell yeah! Just try to jump a bit more to the right since there's more rocks to the left. You'll probably be fine, but better safe than sorry right?" He says, smiling at you as he gestures to the deeper part of the pool. You nod, feeling nerves rise within you as you look down at the water. It seems so much farther once you're up here.

"Tsk, come on are you gonna jump or what?" Xavier scoffs, rolling his eyes. You glance at him and clench your jaw in determination.

"Yes! I am! I'm just- psyching myself up for it." You stall, glancing back down at the water. The longer you look at it the more you don't want to jump.

"Hey, you don't have to jump if you don't want to. No shame if you're too scared, it is a pretty big drop." Ajax says gently, his gaze reassuring. You are about to chicken out completely when you hear Xavier scoff once again.

"Oh come on, she just needs a little push-" With those words you feel two strong hands shove hard at the center of your back. You try to catch yourself, to compensate but you are too thrown off balance. Your feet slip off the edge, and your back scrapes painfully against the rock as you slip. You hear Wednesday and Enid shout your name as your head snaps against the rock, the thud sickening.

You're in the water, choking as water flows out of your nose and mouth. You gag and retch, someone is dragging you to shore. There's blood in the water.

"Yoko, go get Weems!" That was Wednesday's voice. You tried to look around for her but everything seemed blurry and dark. Your nose and throat burned from the water, and the back of your head throbbed steadily.

"Oh my God, oh my God- Wednesday is she going to be okay?" Enid's voice frantically filtered into your ears as someone gently laid you back on the grass. Your back stung at the contact with the ground. The sun was beating down on your face and you squeezed your eyes shut. It was too bright.

"(Y/n), can you open your eyes for me?" Wednesday's calm voice soothed the ache in your head. Someone's hand was resting on the back of your head, pressing firmly. It hurt, but Wednesday's voice made it hurt less.

"Wednesday?" You ask in a small voice, feeling confused and scared. You weren't sure what was going on. Your head hurt, you were cold. You were confused.

Monster trio + Shanks Red Nails Theory

hi guys to get some context on red nails it’s basically about how men are especially attracted to women wearing red nail polish, and that attraction exists because men remember seeing their mothers and other specific female figures in their lives wore red nail polish when they were children. but the color red represents love, desire, boldness, and sensuality. And in my opinion I wore red nail polish a lot. My gym trainer (male) ALWAYS COMPLIMENTED ON MY RED NAILS! ALWAYS WHEN IT WAS RED FOR NO REASON! anyways let’s get into it y’all can thank me later :)

Luffy

• Don’t get me wrong luffy is keen to detail but he’s a teeny bit slow 😭

• “you’re bleeding?!OMG YOURE BLEEDING! NOOOO!! WHERES CHOPPER!? CHOPPER!!!” panicked luffy is a rare sight to see but it’s actually adorable to witness

• there was this one time he asked if he could eat the nail monomer to your nail tech. (the smelly thing in the nail salon everyone hates/loves and what makes the nails hard)

• “girl is he okay? Does he need help?”

• “Haha yeah he’s good he’s just hangry because our cook locked out the kitchen.”

• your tech mentioned that there’s a market across the street he never ran so fast 😭

• nah I just feel like his mind wouldn’t cross it.

• but if your hands do cross his mind.

• he’s literally touchy touchy lovey dovey all the time, in all honesty. he wouldn’t even care.

• he’ll just look at your nails and say “omg y/n! We’re matching!!!!!!” he gets all giddy with that shishishi laugh ifykyk

• ngl hes VERY PROTECTIVE of his partner specifically just you in general

• when zoro at the salon waiting for you he asks for water or alcohol. He feels like it’ll be forever. “Oí, you got sake?”

•”yes sir but you have to pay for a service in order to have some alcohol.”

“What’s the least painful one?”

• not even 10 MINUTES LATER MANS GOT A FULL ON MANI PEDI he just wanted his hands and nails cleaned up.ain’t no one wanna see his grippers. 😭

• “Did you- “

• “I WAS THIRSTY Y/N!”

• he always understands that he has to be gentle and you’re not like sanji or some rag doll

• but when it comes to the red nails he looks confused “you rarely do your nails…that…color…”

• “I know I know, but I feel like it’s time for a change.”

• he blushes while avoiding eye contact with you ”I like them.”

•or the “not bad.”

• when you trace his scars or his calloused hands zoro just internally melts to your gentle touch

• “hold my hand. NOW” you usually tell him to hold your hand, and he complains so much.

•Literally you’re so used to him to complaining like saying

• “iT BURNS!” Zoro was just being even more sarcastic. He is not even used to affection, but this time he didn’t even complain when you wanted to hold his hand.

• Literally most of the straw hats laugh at zoro when he’s experiencing pda because he’s a tough guy. Giving “machismo” energy.

•he just furiously covers his face because he just doesn’t want to be seen to be blushing like a tomate 🍅

• “Aye! Mosshead and you said you’d never get your nails done- HYAYAYAYAYAYAAAAAAKAAAHA!” Sanji just kept dragging it.

• “SHUT UP CURLY!”

• when zoro holds your hands in his. Mans knew he had to be gentle. I don’t think the nails reminded him of anyone in female significance,

•other than the blood of his enemies or sanjis nose bleeds 😭

•he loves head scratches when he naps. It’s a MUST. poor moss head won’t sleep peacefully.

• you’ll be receiving lots and lots of back hugs when doing your chores and off guard.

Sanji

YALL THIS MANEEEE I WAITED FOR THIS ONE OMGGGG

• when sanji holds your hand during supper. the first thing he noticed was your nails being red.

• mans blushed “you got your nails done y/n-chan?”

• “hm.. oh yes I did why?”

•”they look beautiful in that color… it goes very well with your skin tone y/n-swann 😩❤️” there he goes simping again

•from taking the cigarette out of his mouth to kiss him, to holding the cup of tea between your hands it just makes him go crazy.

• he’ll just keep admiring at how beautiful you look, and of course compliment you.

•he rests the crook of his head on your shoulder kissing your neck, and whisper the most romantic things ever while having fingers Intertwined.

• he’s more affectionate and shows you off even more.

•will literally KICK A BITCH. If someone cat calls you with your

•”do you not understand how lucky I am to have a beautiful woman like you y/n.”

• sanji literally sits by you when you get your nails done. He’ll he said he’d get a manicure (we love a man who takes interest in their partners interest)

• he talks to the tech about how you’re the love of his life and on and on.

•”yess!!!! She is! I’m so lucky to have a woman like her in my life 😭.” He teared up when he said that.

• in all honesty Sanji is just gonna be even more clingy and relaxed with you in private more than a simp he is in public.

• of course he’s going to spoil you, but he’s not going to feel tired, because he won’t stop until he feels satisfied.

Shanks

• “well well well if it isn’t my favorite color!” he got all giddy and shit. SIR WAS KISSING YOUR KNUCKLES.

• nah like for real. Shanks starts becoming more emotionally intimate with you with the red nails.

•he loves the way you flip through pages on documents, use your touch for the slightest things

• “so classy…mmm…so sexy….like me. HAHAHAHA.” You’re really trying to think its working on him but NOOO he loves tricking you.

•it’s that thing like with his observation haki. but nOO. he pulled a facade. He’s getting all internally nervous and becoming a blushing mess.

•”I hope you know that I love you y/n. like a lot. Im sorry i barley get to tell you that.” He admits as he kisses the top of your head holding your hands.

“I love you too… but can you try saying it more often… it makes me feel bad.” you gave them the puppy eyes. not even five seconds later you were showered with kisses and hugs by red haired shanks.

• so In conclusion the red nails theory DOES WORK on OP MEN.

Like they love them so much, they feel the most comfortable as them. I think that'd be neat

NGL I'd be freaked tf OUT if I saw that. And thank you for the kind words about Alear! When it comes to Fire Emblem characters, I feel obligated to make sure they're in-character as possible. It'd be an insult to my love for the series to do any less.

Ivy was startled when S/O first changed shapes right in front of her.

Truth be told, she felt she should be a little less surprised, considering what was in this world already. Gods, heroes from another world, magic.

Yet here she was, shocked by the fact there was a shapeshifter.

Ivy didn't mind S/O being a changeling, though she was curious as to what they looked like naturally.

What she did mind was the fact another Ivy was next to her as they were cuddling.

(Ivy) "...S/O."

(Ivy?) "Yes?"

(Ivy) "I...I understand that you're comfortable with me, to the point you are me...Um...How do I put this?"

The fact the other Ivy was tilting their head so curiously, something she would never do was throwing her completely off.

(Ivy) "It's strange. As if I'm staring into a mirror that is not mimicking my own actions."

(Ivy?) "Sorry, I can change if you wa-"

(Ivy) "No, please. I am quite flattered that you even want to turn into me it's...please keep this between us. I do not need Somniel screaming in terror from a second me."

(Ivy?) "Ha, alright."

She didn't mention it, but she also felt quite self conscious.

Was her chest that big...?

(Goldmary) "Why, it's no shock that you decided to transform into perfection!"

The other Goldmary began pouting.

(Goldmary?) "That is not why I changed into you, Goldmary..."

It was honestly a bit jarring for her doppleganger to sound exactly like her, but have their manner of speech to be completely off.

(Goldmary) "Who can blame you? I am quite beautiful!"

Goldmary becomes extremely happy whenever S/O transforms into her. Imitation is the greatest sign of flattery, after all!

And she had no idea she was so comfortable to snuggle into!

And so beautiful when she was smiling too!

Author's note: I can only write Goldmary admiring herself before an ego singularity forms and swallows this post whole, this whole bit goes on for a while, you get the idea.

(Alear) "Huh...that's what I look like?"

(Alear?) "Beautiful? Yes, yes you do look like that!"

Alear giggled sheepishly, her hand covering her mouth.

(Alear) "It's a little weird, hearing my own voice say that. But...thank you. Are you sure you're alright with this though?"

The other Alear gave her a peck on the cheek. While the gesture was quite affectionate and made her heart flutter, it was still really weird.

The other Alear now shared her same blushing smile.

(Alear?) "Hah, you're such a smoothtalker...!"

Marth materialized next to the real Alear, eyeing the situation currently unfolding.

(Marth) "Wow, this is a confusing sight."

(Alear?) "You know who the real one is, right Marth?"

(Marth) "Yes, but it's like I'm seeing Alear speak into the mirror. Thank goodness she isn't actually like this by herself..."

(Alear) "Hah, I couldn't imagine...I am quite dashing though, don't you think me?"

(Alear?) "Why yes, yes you are!"

Marth playfully rolled his eyes as he disappeared, both Alear's laughing at their antics.

(Alear) "Oh! This should go without saying, but don't let Vander, Framme, or Clanne see us like this. I think they'd begin frothing at the mouth if they saw two of me."

(Alear?) "...Oh gods, I didn't even think of that. Where do we even go? People would be confused if they saw two Divine Dragons!"

(Alear) "...Maybe this isn't such a good idea."

I absolutely loved the shy reader post, it's exactly what I was hoping for. Also implied fem! for Vaggie is perfectly fine and makes sense, Nifty was a good touch but it's so true I'm not mad😅 and g/n for the rest is a win for everyone, who wouldn't want them to experience these women confessing their feelings. I'd love to see part two with the women of heaven. Sadly no Carmilla pet names yet but I'll let you know if I think of any.

Sweet, shy thing~ Pt 2

Here's part one!

Emily

- You and Emily have been friends since you both came into existence

- Basically attached at the hip!

- Several times other angels had assumed you two were a couple, but Emily always corrected them that you were just friends. (You were always too flushed and shy to say anything)

- However, one day, when Emily was about to correct another angel, she hesitated

- She doesn't know why, but this time, she didn't want to correct them

- She thought about it long and hard that night, laying awake in her bed, wondering why she hesitated on telling the angel that you two were.. she can't even say it??

- That morning, she ever so groggily walked up to Sera, and asked her what was happening to her

- Sera chuckled, then explained that Emily might have a crush on you

- Neither you or Emily had ever been in a relationship before, you never really needed to. You always had each other, and that's all you both wanted

- Atleast.. that was all she wanted. Now she wants to be.. more to you than just your bestest friend

- She wants your little hangouts together to be romantic sometimes, for you two to hold hands

- The realization of her feelings for you has definitely brought out such cute and sappy thoughts Emily never thought would cross her mind

- She tells you around 4 months before the meeting with Charlie in heaven

- She had finally concocted the perfect plan to confess

- She brought you to a meadow outside of the more city parts of heaven. It was your little hiding space away from prying eyes (mostly.)

- When you arrived, she already had made a flower crown

- But the flowers she used weren't merely chosen at random, no no no. These flowers meant something, and that something was her feelings.

- You and her had studied the language of flowers together, just a passing hobby, and because it was so much fun!

- She used daisies, which means true love and new beginnings. Sun flowers, meaning adoration and loyalty, peace, love, and happiness. Some baby's breath, while used in bouquets for baby showers can also mean everlasting love and innocence. And finally, a daffodil, which means devotion.

- With all of these meanings in mind, you stared at the flower crown, practically screaming her feelings for you as she blushed, her hands shaking slightly as she looks away, silently waiting for your answer

- She doesn't look back up to you until you gently grab her shaking hands, steadying them

- Once they begin shaking less, you grab the crown, and place it on top of your head, a blush spreading across your face as your hands reach back down to hers, giving them a soft, reassuring squeeze

- No words were spoken, but that's all she needed. You returned her feelings, and you wanted to be with her, as her partner.

Seraphim

- She's a very reserved angel.

- She has to be, she ranks very highly in heaven. (Whether she earned her position or was created for it I have no idea but lets just say she had to work for it for my sake.) She worked too hard to get this position, any slips would ruin everything she's done.

- However, lately, she's been a bit more sleepy eyed, and yawning far too much. Michael, (I legit know nothing about the ranks in heaven, correct me 😭) her boss, has noticed and decided to assign her an assistant. That being you! Good job 👍

- As much as she appreciates Michael looking out for her, an angel of her ranking shouldn't need to depend on someone else, and while she does try to argue this with him, he isn't budging.

- She's a bit.. how do I say this, cold and bitchy to you? To begin with atleast

- She doesn't appreciate that she's being forced to have an assistant.

- So, she gives you harder tasks than you can probably handle. And she doesn't really bother to get to know you. Just that you're doing the work she assigned to you and returning it to her when she expects it

- After a while, she starts to warm up to you. And how long is that "while" you may be asking? Around.. 200-300 years....

- Y e a h, she doesn't warm up to you that quickly. But after those years, you can notice her warming up to you, and finally showing some decency of asking about your day

- Which starts your little conversations here and there. Mostly just talking about your days, funny stories, or talking about the work you both do, and some hobbies here and there

- You two grow closer, eventually starting to socialize outside of work, and you finally get to see Sera relax, no longer tense and stressed, but instead a less tense and much happier version of your boss

- The moment she realizes she fell for you was when one day she was looking forwards to seeing you at work.. but you didn't show up

- She was.. sad? She didn't fully understand why until she was reading later that day, a romance novel. It was one about lovers separated due to extreme weather, unable to see each other. The book described the longing both felt, and how sad they were being unable to contact each other.

- She immediately recognized those feelings as the ones she felt when you weren't at work.

- You returned to work a few days later, on top of your desk was a large bouquet of flowers, generally meaning good health and happiness as well as sprinkles of friendship here and there, as well as a note

- "My dear assistant, I thank you for taking care of me and assisting me with my paper work all these years. I have no words to thank you for everything you've done, despite how I treated you when you first began. In order to thank you, and try to apologize for my harshness, I wish to take you out to dinner. My treat, of course. Sincerely, Seraphim."

- And then you two loved happily ever after, the end <333

Lute

- She uh

- She doesn't like you

- I'm being so real

- Kinda like Nifty, she needs someone tough enough to match her or atleast get close

- ...is what she used to think

- HA I GOT YOUR ASSES-

- But because she's the way she is she doesn't like you at first

- Let's say you're a medic for the exterminators cause they get injured sometimes (just go with it)

- On occasion Lute would have to visit you because she got too carried away during the extermination or while training (do they train?? 😭)

- She didn't like going to you but she followed the rules as much as she could. This being one of them

- After so many visits to your office for various injuries she grew fond of you, her thoughts occasionally drifting to you, causing more injuries so she would have to see you again

- After several years of going in this cycle, she finally decided to ask if you two could hangout outside of your clinic

- You agreed, of course. And from then on you two became closer

- Now, to how Lute asks you out.. it's very blunt and straight forward

- It almost sounds like a demand

- "I like you, I want to go on a date with you at [this time] and at [this place]." With a bright red blush on her face 🤭

- Now, she immediately walked away after she said that because she was so embarrassed. So she didn't know if you actually accepted the date or not

- Lute only realized this after she got to the place she asked/told you to meet her at.

- So she was panicking severely, preparing herself to call Adam as a backup so she didn't look like she was lonely, and to blame it on Adam's careless attitude as to why she was waiting for so long.

- However, just as she was about to call him, you walked in, dressed nicely and a blush covering your face

- Lute.. was ecstatic. You actually came?? Even though you're so??? Shy??

- You both had fun talking over dinner, and after she walked you home, leaving a miss on your cheek before walking back to her place, only looking back once to see a deep blush spread across your face at the peck.
