The maths fandom is wild. “Real” and “imaginary” numbers? I think you mean canon and non-canon. You guys seriously go “this is my number oc his name is i and he is the square root of -1” when in numbers canon lore it’s actually impossible to square root a negative but sure whatever. “Complex numbers”? I think you mean a character x oc ship. “f(x) = 3x - 5”? That is self-insert fanfiction.

Awkwardly sips drink because I actually haven’t vibed a lot with Q!Tubbo’s leadership the few times I’ve managed to catch him on Bads stream because he’ll lament about BM but then will also suddenly go “let’s kill them” but will also then lament killing them. He doesn’t want his team to have Bad Manners but also the way he tries to steer his team from that has been basically going “don’t do thaaaat” and hasn’t really given a substantial reason to be nicer (or at least one that holds weight)
Which is greatly interesting from a character perspective especially one in Purgatory. But I think some on the team just do not believe they’ll be given the same kindness if they had started acting nicer before, and that the other teams would take advantage to pull ahead or destroy Soulfire’s base. And with no reason or proof to combat that belief, Tubbos words about playing fairly ring hallow, nice sentiments that he’ll also denounce the minute they lose
Today really jut highlights that. Tubbo has very strong morals that clashes with some of his team members, and the way he wants to go about Purgatory and winning does not align with his teams. And I don’t think he’s given them a very strong reason to believe or trust in his way, and sadly some members have already dug and made themselves cozy in their graves

I was thinking about this the other day and wondering why it’s become so much less fun to write for BNHA and I think it’s because… I’ve written too much?
Like being a one-off author was fine and fun and novel and people were so cool and supportive, but now I’ve got multiple long fics and people have started treating me like someone that “creates content” rather than someone who is writing for fun. And I’ve shot myself in the foot by continuing to write long-fic and putting my heart and soul into them and it’s like never enough, people just expect more and more and more and I want to keep giving and keep doing better but no matter what I write it’s just not ENOUGH
And like… this started a little after I finished Zero Sum Game but like… people have started forming “opinions” that they share openly about “me” - I can’t stand going into fandom space and seeing people say they can’t read anything I write, or they don’t like me as an author, openly ranking my works, saying xyz is overrated or mention me by name in shipping discourse or send me hate mail or update requests or just straight up telling me they’re not going to read what I write anymore… and these people don’t know me!!! I’m just an empty space to them!!! Just a machine that pumps out thousands on thousands of words to just look at an forget about instantly!!!!!!!!
Where do people get off honestly. Is it like this everywhere or is it just BNHA? Is it because it’s so popular that the community has broken down completely? Sincerely what the fuck how can anyone treat writers like this…

A public speaker with a terrible cold who is trying to speak through the pain in their voice.
They’re subtly trying to wipe their nose with their sleeve or a tissue they keep fishing out of their pocket.
They’re doing their absolute best to hide the fact that they’re ill from the people they’re presenting to but their voice is thick and stuffed up.
They’re just trying to rush through what they have to do so they can go hide pitifully in some corner and finally just blow their nose.
Sick presenters ♥️

I don’t like to make blanket statements and I caught myself almost making one when I went to make this post but I will say - more and more lately when I see people online expressing that they think “female characters” - whether a specific character, all the women in a specific piece of media, or all fictional women as a whole? - are “badly written” I roll my eyes
like at times I end up feeling like yes we all know there has historically been a gender imbalance in mainstream art and fiction in terms of complex characters who are given a lot of narrative focus
And yet in hoping to correct that imbalance
I feel many people raise the standards TOO high??? lmao
Cuz the amount of times I see people calling out “badly written women” when I’m like that’s a very well written character or else sometimes it’s a character who’s written fine but she is a supporting or minor character and has a fair amount of depth and characterization for her role in the narrative which is… expected????
think of how many male characters out there are somewhat compelling but somewhat minor, or one note, or have potential but then get dropped in favor of the story going other places….
like tbh part of “equality” in this sense (and I’m not saying that fiction has definitely reached that state of equality yet) would be that there are Enough female characters of all types … which includes supporting and one note and even frustrating/all over the place characters. You can connect with some more than others, that’s natural and expected… but like
(I actually kinda hate the phrase “badly written” to describe a character at all so I hate phrasing it this way but)
a badly written female character is just a badly written character!
I seldom see anyone criticizing a piece of media for badly written male characters lol just food for thought

i know you likely wouldnt have any advice but im really trying to figure things out right now
im submitting an audition online for one of the big three but im transgender. would you or any of your followers know what to do in this situation? ive been closeted for a few years around my family so im no stranger to it but i also want to have some security in myself…
hi bb! no i’m so sorry, i don’t really have any advice :( i’ve never auditioned for any kpop or really any huge entertainment industry, nor am i trans, so i’m not sure i’d be the best to give advise. however, if anyone else has some insight, pls feel free to reply to this post!
i think the only thing i can say with some definitive confidence is to 1) stay true to yourself and 2) not underestimate the challenges you will (unfortunately) likely face. and this advice can be used for anything in life. from what i’ve heard about both training to be an idol and being in mainstream limelight is that it’s exhausting beyond belief, it will challenge your ideals/dreams/character, and you will, at some point, face backlash. everyone does. i suggest that if this is something you truly want to do, be realistic when it comes to the future you might be facing. i’d give this advice to anyone, regardless of gender, but i won’t sugercoat it, society at large is still very hostile to the lgbtq community as a whole, and that is something you should consider when figuring out how and if you want to go down this path.
i wholeheartedly wish you the best of luck in whatever endeavor you pursue and however you chose to pursue it!! 🩷
