Reader being college!sukunas pretty little gf but going through a bit of a insecure phase. Having to wonder if sukuna using her for her body. While also having to endure people trying to flirt with him at every party (sukuna has never and would never flirt or cheat but since reader is going through something, she's obviously bothered)

This continues for a few weeks, reader brings it up but sukuna always gets annoyed and shuts it down(Sukuna and reader both not knowing how to efficiently communicate). Reader's insecurity is kind of building up😕 so atp shes debating whether to break up with him because shes just so tired of feeling like she's not enough.

One night reader gets drunk during a night out with maki and nobara so they have to call him to go pick her up. Sukunas kind of mad since she hasn't called or texted him all day so he calls her out on it while driving home. Reader being a emotional drunk decides its the perfect time to unleash how she feels. Sukuna listens to her and starts worrying when reader very briefly mentions a break up. So when they get home sukuna gets her to spill the beans before she knocks out. Meanwhile sukuna spends all night thinking about how to reassure reader that he loves her (he doesn't want to lose her😭)

Next morning reader wakes up in his arms and he tells her he wants to talk about what happened last night now that shes sober. So they have a serious talk about it (tears were definitely shed)

Macau: Hey, why is my brother talking to Kinn on the phone?

Macau: I'm not hiding in some safe house to wait out another attack. The cell service was so shitty and the WiFi was non-existent. I was kept out of the loop until Porsche and Khun came to get me. Pissed me the fuck off at the time, but I went with them because I needed out of there, even if it meant death. 

Macau: That sounds like I didn't care about my brother. I did. They downplayed his condition until we got to the hospital. I didn't care about the shitty service after that, but it was horrible while it was a main priority and I didn’t know any better. 

Macau: He's now off the phone, barely talking, and cuddling with Paris, Valencia, and Pittsburgh.

Chay: Who are Valencia and Pittsburgh?

Macau: Hia’s and P’Pete’s cats, duh. 🙄 Took you long enough to answer. 

Chay: Who names a cat Pittsburgh? Who names anything Pittsburgh? 

Macau: When Hia and P’Pete got them, they agreed to each name one. Hia named the girl Valencia because it is a city that has the same starting English letter as his name. So P’Pete picked Pittsburgh for the boy because it matched the starting letter of his own name. They also got stuck there during a layover last year due to a huge snowstorm and it was the first time P’Pete ever experienced snow. I guess they even extended their time there a couple of days to enjoy it. Pittsburgh now has a special place in P'Pete's and Hia's heart. Anyway, the cat is white. Pittsburgh. 

Chay: I guess that makes sense? Also, why did you never say anything about being an uncle now? Kim and I would have sent you a present or something. Hia showed me a picture of Paris. She's really cute. 

Macau: I’ve been an uncle. Valencia and Pittsburgh have been here for a while now and are a lot quieter. Paris doesn't scratch at the furniture though, so that's nice. I think that's why she's Hia’s new favorite.

Porsche: Kinn and Vegas talked on the phone for over an hour last night. I guess it went well. Kinn was emotional when I got back to the suite, but he said it went better than he expected it to go. 

Porsche: And they're on the phone again. Idk who called who.

Porsche: They're fighting over some game they played when they were kids and are choosing to be pissed off about that over literally anything else?

Porsche: Vegas hung up on him 😕

Porsche: Nevermind, he answered when Kinn called him back. 

Porsche: I don't know what is going on. Kinn is laughing about something. It's exhausting to keep up with. I am about to go hang out with Arm and Khun because they cause me less stress.

Chay: You can't. This is more important and interesting.

Porsche: Important, maybe. It isn't interesting when I can only hear one side of the conversation. You know two people who are interesting? Arm and Khun. 

Porsche: Also? Took you long enough to answer.

“Is that all you have to contribute to both conversations?” Chay asks as Kim cuddles back into him, “You just found out your brother is on his second phone call with Vegas and that's the only thing you can say?”

Kim glances up at Chay, “It sounds like he is probably on the phone.” 

Chay points at Kim's phone and keeps staring at him, “Try. If he doesn't pick up, ask him to get a hold of you later.” 

“Or I can just call him later,” Kim counters, “Or talk to him when I get home.” 

Chay lets out a huff, “I'm nosy, P’Kim! I want to know what's going on now! I'm invested, just like Hia is invested in us, as well as Arm and Khun-” 

“Pretty sure ArmKhun is his top ship now,” Kim says with a shrug, “And there is no romance between Kinn and Vegas, so it isn't really comparable-”

that's actually going to be a very big talking point in the next few chapters because family's the most important thing to them, right? it's family above all else, the money, the business, everything. and a big part of that is because price doesn't run his business through fear and manipulation like makarov and graves, he relies on trust and loyalty which makes for a stronger crew. and now, here's someone who has been unconditionally loyal to them (moreso than some of their own people) and they've not only betrayed her but outright mistreated and punished her. that's going to cause some major in-house problems esp regarding gaz who has never once doubted her.

there will be talks about both sides, because yes, from their side it can look suspicious and there's just enough evidence for them to make that leap in deduction, but i don't think anyone would excuse what's happened just because of that. i think the bigger issue would be admitting that graves was able to manipulate them enough to think canary was a traitor, esp when so many of them think they're smarter than him.

Most of what I see in terms of organizations and support is from the USA, Britain, or Australia and Aotearoa, so I thought u might know of some in Canada

Intersex Canada technically exists but from what I can tell they haven't actually done anything? Every time I've reached out I've gotten some sort of canned non-response. 😵‍💫

OII Francophonie is a joint Quebec/France organization. It is actually active as far as I can tell, but it is as the name indicates, a francophone organization. IDK if you speak French.

Beyond that the only intersex-specific organization I know of that's Canada based is the Intersex Book Club that I co-run with @scifimagpie (also Canadian) but we're not trying to make it a specifically Canadian thing. Only including the self-promo since you said "communities" not just advocacy orgs. 😅

For organizations not specific to intersex: I know Egale Canada has in the past advocated to ban surgeries on intersex infants. They're a larger LGBTQI+ organization. I used to be on (and read) their mailing list back in the 00s, but until this evening I it had been years since I'd looked them up.

In putting this post together I learnt Egale does host an intersex community hub thing which had me excited for a few seconds until I actually started looking into it. There's some real intermedicalist vibes on their site that have me kinda nervous 😕 but I still signed up to join their community and will see how it is?

Sorry to be party pooper when you were theorising and having fun, but I think I need to vent.

Anyway, we all can agree that this fandom has recently gotten a very toxic discours/discussion environment which just sucks. I mostly blame the writers for this, mostly because of ep 5. Not only did this add to obvious power imbalance between loustat, but also did make POC and especially black audiences understandable very uncomfortable. Not only possibly by the relationship (that is supposed to be endgame!) but also of Lestat (a future “hero” of the story).

As a white person I obviously cannot comprehend what it must have felt to see that from a racial standpoint, but it was very upsetting to see from my point of view alone.

Now, there are of course debates on if that scene were “out of character” for Lesta or not…I am still debating over that. (I mean, show!Lestat is a bit different from book!Lestat after all?)

What I find most frustrating about ep 5 is just “did they not think?!”. No but really, what did they think that was going to look like? How people would react and feel? Like??? How??? They didn’t at least have to make the DV so severe and brutal, especially when they have such powerful dynamics to portray. Right?

Idk. Maybe I am just salty because I really just recently joins this fandom (for real) that I thought would be chill and a safe place for many people and meanings discussions…and then there is this black cloud that didn’t have to be here in the first place. I feel frustrated for everyone😕

*sighs* So this is difficult. I can understand the frustration, I knew when I watched this would hit the fan, so to speak.

BUT. I have talked about it, too, several times, how this episode served other purposes (imho). In this post there's two articles linked by Linda Codega, which I recommend reading. I can link more posts by @showmey0urfangs and others on this, too, if you're interested.

The show... puts its finger into wounds, and worries them. Lestat does abuse. Lestat does rape. Lestat does force-feed. Lestat chops off digits. Canonically. He doesn't do that to Louis, canonically. Which is, imho, exactly the point.

By making it happen to Louis, and in this way, it forces us to look. By using certain imagery it gets waaaaaay beyond our comfort zone. On purpose.

However, in the context of the story(!) and here's the catch to it all - we do not know if it happened. It's a tale, and one deliberately torn apart in the end. Throwaway lines of episode 1 come back, to suddenly make sense and hint at the truth. Continuity errors and the very way people are held build parallels. I'm saying it again, this show does details, and it does not serve to conflate the issues imho.

And one thing re the writers and what they say: Imagine you're doing those big arcs, with full knowledge of the Chronicles, and the way you want to shake the narrative up... and then the season gets split. And you get asked why you did episode 5 the way you did. And you cannot say anything re the reveal in episode 7. You cannot say anything re what's to come in season 2, what you've been planning for (now) episode 12. You cannot say anything in regards to the parallels you've set up, or what Armand did (or not). Your viewership is mostly unaware of what's in the books (there was a poll the other day, like only 20%? have read a few books?!), as the reactions to Louis / Armand have plainly shown imho.

So what do you say?

This is not to defend them btw. I do think some of the answers especially by Rolin were... well. (And the missing content warning is its own fuck up.) But I also think that this is something that has to be factored in as well. Because of course they do not wish to give their game away.

Imagine if people (I am included here) are correct with episode 5, that the latter half of that "fight" was a modified memory, because something like this happened between Armand and Lestat, but not Lestat and Louis. As a writer, getting asked re the cloud gift... what could you say? You couldn't say "well, we're building a parallel for the big showdown in season 2, when Armand throws Lestat off a tower and later Armand is thrown off a roof by Lestat". And you cannot say "well, there's this scene in TVL, which will be in season 3, where Armand force-feeds on Lestat, and Lestat then beats him to a pulp and drags him by the throat". You just cannot say that, because it would the give the game away, at least to those who do not know the books?

And yes, I am aware that this is (book-canon based) speculation, and that we'll see.

But given the setup of the interview in Dubai you cannot even trust that part of the tale :)) Much less what is narrated. Which makes the OOC discussion void imho. We haven't seen the real Lestat, the real Louis, or the real Armand yet.

We haven't seen anything objectively true yet. Except maybe Daniel's apartment in the beginning^^.

So.

Feel free to come in and rant at anytime :)) But... personally... I think there is much, much more to it than the DV discussion alone, or the OOC discussion alone. And if that is actually true... then we're watching the show of the decade unfold. A true piece of art. And art... can be challenging.

Still. Said that before, too - I could do with less toxicity in the fandom, too. Especially on these so important and difficult subjects. I would prefer we could discuss them in a productive manner. But maybe that will only need ... time and perspective, (right, Louis)^^.

After Ana & I were back home, we first went out of our way. I was mad at Ana for saying all those embarrassing things to me last night, but I was more worried about my sister. 😢

I remembered how Daniel told me last night, that Ana needs me & my help! I thought this was weird! Why did he say this? Sure, Ana was acting totally stupid last night. Nevertheless, all this seemed strange to me! So I called D. and asked him, what he meant exactly last night about Ana. Daniel had a hunch, what was going on with Ana. When he first met Ana two months ago, she told him a bit about happened to her & David in that fucking club, where we used to be. That place is cursed, I swear. All people that Ana and I used to know from there, like Elena & Tina or Irena (D.’s ex), who worked there, something bad happened to them. And Ana’s ex, David, that vampire guy, we knew him from that club too! Also Daniel and Dominick, but I NEVER saw Daniel there in the past, just Dominick a couple of times.

After Ana and I talked, Sandra came. Sandra had an idea for the three of us. She thought this was good, to keep Ana away from all this...mess and she told me, that her Baby is going to be a boy. YEAH it’s a BOY!!! 💙💙💙

Daniel and I will experience in a few weeks almost the same as Ana & David. Just for Daniel & me, this became a real nightmare. I’ve never experienced anything so bad before! But Philip found me and brought me home to my Mom. And Philip saved Daniel’s life that night! But more about that when the time comes. And almost the same thing happened to Ana and David, but for completely different reasons, which we didn’t know at the time.😔 Ana kept this from all of us, and after that, she and David had trouble with each other, so they broke up. Not exactly because of this incident, but Ana’s “friend” that stupid bitch Samantha, told her lies about David and Ana believed her, instead of talking to David about it.

I feel so bad. A terrible horrible person. And a jerk.

I’ve been with my boyfriend a few months short of a year and for a while I’ve been struggling with how I actually feel about him and our relationship thinking that maybe I’m losing feelings for him. All for me to figure out today that I’m definitely Quoiromantic and maybe never had romantic feelings for him ever???? But idk cause wtf are romantic feelings anyways. But it literally explains so much. I struggled a lot at the beginning of our relationship and almost broke up with him a few times cause of being unsure (literally a giant flag I ignored) and then ya know we kiss and cuddle and I really enjoy that most of the time so I was like no you’re being crazy you obviously like him romantically. BUT NOW ITS LIKE “okay maybe that was never romantic and it was sensual??” So now it’s like do I tell my boyfriend? I feel like I have to cause I’m still struggling and he should probably know but also I feel terrible because I know how he feels about me and I know he’ll be absolutely devastated to hear that I probably never liked him romantically but I guess we’ll never know for sure cause I can’t really tell. He was already a little upset after finding out I was ace. I mean he was extremely supportive but the more he thought about it the more it was like “oh…she doesn’t like me like that.” Which sucks it all sucks. He’s so sweet and caring and I love his family so much but now…this.😕

OK so let's break this down a bit. First of all, you're not a jerk. You're someone who's been figuring themselves out. A lot of people get into relationships before they've figured out their identity, that happens. And sometimes these things affect the relationship, sometimes they don't.

The first question I'd ask you to consider is how do you personally feel about this relationship? Now that you know you're quoiromantic, is this romantic relationship something you still want?

If this is a relationship you want to stay in if you can, remember that attraction feelings are just feelings. They're not the things that really matter in relationships, like how much you care about your partner, how supportive you are of each other, respecting one another, etc. You are allowed to want to be in this relationship if you want to be, even if you don't know if these feelings are or were romantic or not, because that's not the part that matters.

On the other side of things it's OK if you don't want to be, anymore. Or if the relationship as it is right now doesn't feel right to you.

These are feelings I'd recommend figuring out before talking to your boyfriend, and this isn't keeping things from him, it's more making sure when you do talk to him that you have direction and you know where you want to go with that conversation.

Coming out is a personal decision, though a lot of people do feel like it's important that their partner know their identity and understand them. Unfortunately it is impossible to know how someone's going to react. Some people are very accepting right off the bat, some aren't. A lot of people need time to think about things and process things, and they may not know what they want either right away. The best thing you can do I think is be clear, get out what you feel is important and don't worry about being awkward or anything like that. Sometimes asking them to ask questions or give their thoughts afterwards can also help them process in the moment and make sure there aren't any misunderstandings.

My biggest advice here is to take your time. Give yourself a bit of breathing room. And trust however things go, in the long term, you'll be alright.

Idk how to explain it but it is something something like this so sorry for making this long

I am a soon going to be legally adult girl, (though not completely, just a part of me wont agree on being girl, in my head i want to be more androgynous than dionysus)

I was never into shipping culture too much or even a normal amount as a kid and probably still am not, if two people are together then good for them

Also, i never really crushed on any guy before, maybe it felt like a crush for a month or two, it usually passes, i hear stories about people crushing on a person for 4 years and it feels wild to me, and with girls its a different story, i started questioning my sexuality about a few months ago when i discovered queer spaces (curse me for not knowing about them earlier) and i was getting some crushy thoughts about my bestfriend, like it felt like i have a crush on her but i dont know how a crush is supposed to feel like, maybe i was imagining her in romantic and other situations with me or maybe sometimes just her i am not even in the scene, i am just watching her, but i never fantasized like this for a guy and at this point i am not even sure that the attraction i previously ever felt towards any guy is even real or not, my thoughts about my bestie used to feel like passing thoughts at first and i used to ignore them but now i am questioning them each day, sometimes my brain tells me i am straight because i dont have problems with guys but with girls the thing becomes complicated, like am i attracted to her? How? Sexually? Probably not? Romantically? Idk? Is it normal for a friend? I keep searching for hints in my past that may confirm my bisexuality, like maybe that one time i said that one girl in the class is the perfect one if you want to crush on anybody, i didnt think about it much when i said that but now i am overthinking

I am also torn up about the is it normal for a friend because as a kid i was really shy and we moved houses a lot and i had to change my school once too and in middle school i got into some toxic friend circles lost my only friend at that time didnt had any friend for 2 years straight etc etc so but ugghhhhh i dont feel the same with my new friends so is this because my bestfriend is older friend than most of the others?

I desperately want to accept this part of me but i just cant? And staying unlabeled is so comforting at one hand but i just want to be a little out and proud like the 12-14 yr old do, i want to tell other queer people who I identify as but i feel helpless😕

i’m not quite sure what type of response you’re expecting, whether it’s advice, suggestions for labels, or reassurance in remaining unlabeled?

if you’re looking for labels that’s an ask better directed towards @questioning-culture-is , but my 2 cents on that is: look into arospec, nonbinary, attraction types, and possibly comphet for information.

but, that being said, this is just meant to help you understand yourself, by giving you terminology, experiences you may relate to, etc. this doesn’t mean you have to claim any of the labels you find, even if they ‘fit.’

most importantly, give yourself time! questioning is a process and for the most part, you just have to let it happen. give yourself permission to just be, without constantly overanalyzing your thoughts because you want to come to some conclusion asap. practice being a detached observer, witnessing but not judging, as this will also help with self acceptance. you don’t have to have it all figured out. everyone goes at their own pace, just because you see 12-year-olds out and proud doesn’t mean you have to rush yourself to be the same.

i’m not going to lie, this stuff is not easy. and if you want to take a break from questioning, take a break. if you want to stick to broad fuzzy terms like queer and unlabeled, temporarily or permanently, do that! if you say being unlabeled is comforting, stick to it! you can 100% be out and proud as either of those and be just as much a part of the community.

ooh, how was her death meant to affect y/n? i feel like she would’ve grieved, but y/n right now seems like she wants to be apathetic. but then she went on that whole thing about wanting to die and that the suffering was her fault so 😕 i was so sad to see her go because she was so kind to y/n. ik i said this already but i feel so bad for her family bc they lost their daughter and even though she was only in a few chapters she def made an impact with how good she was. kinda helps to show how terrible the consequences of y/n’s actions are. i feel bad that this is the kind of thing the younger candidates had to go through too 😕

Honestly with regards to Y/N’s path, no she originally was not meant to be like this. For a long time the plan was for her to go along thinking Marley was good and the Athyaens weren’t, and then the events of the last chapter would’ve happened without her being the one to come up with the idea for it. She would’ve seen that Marley is the one that’s doing bad things and that combined with Xanthe’s death would’ve made her question Marley a lot, to the point where she’d be like Friedrich almost (not really caring about why she’s fighting and doing literally the bare minimum). However I like how she’s going atm in the sense that she knows that she’s wrong but she won’t stop because it’ll make things worse for her and the people she loves. She honestly has very much s4 eren vibes atm 😭 but she won’t be like this forever. Athyae is her big “evil Y/N” arc but afterwards she settles down and is a little more morally palatable.

UGHH I WILL ALWAYS BE UPSET OVER HADRIAN AND Y/N 😩 they’re not going to meet for a long time so it’ll be interesting to see how they’ve both changed by then.

Lol Friedrich will always love Y/N but it’s definitely not going to be blind affection on his part anymore. He’s definitely lowkey annoyed that he loves her sm atm though because you know if he didn’t he would’ve swung at her at least ONCE by now
