I took in all the information then nodded, “Sounds good.” I smiled.

And so that’s how our morning started. Matt and I sat on the couch enjoy our non-burnt breakfast, a nice fruit salad.

Then came the first surprise. Matt went to the bedroom and grabbed a red gift bag with another balloon attached to it. I started laughing and Matt immediately smiled hearing my giggles.

“You haven’t even seen what’s inside the bag and you’re already laughing?”

“Dadee…the balloon has writing on it.”

Matt sighed as he sat down beside me once more. He couldn’t help but smile as he turned his head towards me, “What does it say?”

“It says happy 50th anniversary.” I giggled.

All at once the two of us started laughing like crazy together. It was such an honest mistake, after all how would Matt know, but a mistake that just made everything even more funny. Plus it wasn’t the first time he’s made that mistake. Last year for my birthday it was get well soon.

After the two of us caught our breaths from the laughter, he handed me the tiny gift bag. “Here, it’s just a little something to start our day off with.”

Before I ripped the tissue paper away, I paused and looked back up at Matt, “But I didn’t get you anything.” I said disappointed.

“That’s okay, you didn’t know I was going to surprise you.” He explained but I wasn’t so satisfied. Maybe I could find something on our adventures today.

After much delay I ripped the tissue paper away and pulled out the gift. It was a beautiful and soft blanket! But not the normal type of blanket…this is a picnic blanket!

“It’s a picnic blanket!” I smiled as all the possibilities of what we could do ran through my head.

“So what do you think that means for us today?” Matt smirked.

I gasped and smiled back, “WE’RE GOING ON A PICNIC?!”

With my tiny collection I returned to Matt. I sat beside him and took his hand in mine. “Ta-da! Happy Valentine’s Day Dadee! It’s a bouquet of flowers! I’ll describe each one for you.”

He lead his hand and had him feel each of the flowers I grabbed. Telling him how tall I thought they were and what color the flower was. All with Matt having the biggest smile on his face.

“They all sound beautiful. But it’s the thought that means the most to me. Thank you so much Y/N. I love them.” Matt pulled me into a nice tight hug. I rest my head against his shoulder and sighed happily.

Once we broke apart we just laid together, hand in hand on our picnic blanket. I rest my head against his chest and he rested his head on top of mine. The two of us just took comfort in being with the other.

“Maybe we should bring Aunt Karen and Uncle Foggy to this park? What do you think?” Matt suggested.

“No we gotta bring them to the park on Riverside!”

Fatui Harbinger Sexuality HC's

Its no secret that the Harbingers are all queer in some way, shape or form. It's just fact at this point, but I wanted to share some of my headcanons for the Harbingers + the Tsaritsa. TL;DR at the end.

Starting off with our beloved Cryo queen, I am a firm believer that she is either aroace or an asexual sapphic. The Tsaritsa is the Archon of love. It had to happen. I mostly headcanon her as aroace just for the irony of it (love goddess doesn't seek love herself type of deal), but I also don't really see her with anyone. I know her and Pierro are a popular ship, but it kind of follows along with the weird pattern of Harbinger x Archon, and it got out of hand after ZhongChi (DottoNahida scared the daylights out of me). And I headcanon all of the Archon's to be asexual, so she falls in that line too.

Second up we got the Director, Pierro! Again, aroace mostly, but I've played a little with him and Rhinedottir being past lovers (interesting concept to me, can't really explain it because of the minimal information I have of the both of them) so from time to time I fluctuate between aroace and aroflux. The one constant for him would definitely be asexuality though, cannot see this man having kids. He's a cat dad, fight me on it.

Second in line, Capitano! He's a straight ally. Definitely the supportive dad that doesn't exactly understand but he'll defend his children (coworkers) if anyone gives them any problems (not like any of them can't handle it themselves, they just like having scary dog privileges!)

Next up, our morbid doctor, Dottore! He's a little fickle, as I can see him being bisexual because of his one date with Soreh and obviously his affiliation with Pantalone. Probably aceflux, it's just not something he's really into and doesn't care for it. Just depends on his partner I suppose. In regards to his segments, all of them are asexual and go by non binary pronouns. They differentiate between one another using their names (Alpha, Beta, Omicron, etc...) and personal attire preferences, so people just refer to them as "they/them" in order to keep them separate from Prime.

Primarch Sexuality Headcanons

Inspired by this post in which I got very excited to see someone else advocating for an ace-Fulgrim so I'm gonna list my view on the primarch's and their various sexualities.

May do a follow-up on the various captains and other Astartes in the Legions, though that post would get pretty huge pretty fast. I have a lot of opinions.

I invite others to share their perspectives if they have them. For full disclosure, I am coming at this as a homoromantic asexual who is VERY sex-repulsed, so that is, naturally, going to tinge my own perspective.

In Legion order:

Lion El'Johnson - Demisexual or grey-ace, uncertain about romantic interests. I haven't read too much on the Lion, and I know it seems to be popular to make the lad gay, but I don't quite get those vibes from him. I think he prefers women.

Fulgrim - Asexual panromantic. As was said in the thread linked above by the Consortium-human, definitely for aesthetic attraction. He is a peacock in the most literal way possible and I think he'd like his romantic partners to maybe be similar? I can definitely see him dressing them up ostentatiously.

Perturabo - Love the iron hermit, he's definitely a demiromantic asexual. Definitely sex-repulsed. Others would say aro but I could see him being romantically interested in someone if they took the time required for him to see them that way. I don't think gender would matter too much, but I think he'd have a more masc preference.

Jaghatai Khan - Grey-ace or Bisexual king. He's not someone who actively looks for relationships or flings but isn't opposed to them either, if he finds the person attractive.

Leman Russ - Exists in a quantum state between "homosexual bear" and "omnisexual bear". On the one hand, I can see him with basically anyone, but on the other, he gives that rugged sort of "passes as straight lumberjack, is actually gay as hell" type.

Rogal Dorn - Asexual... demiromantic? It's either demi or heteroromantic. Preference towards women or femme-presenting people. Probably sex-repulsed if not sex neutral.

Konrad Curze - Aromantic asexual. Has never had the interest. Has never wanted the interest. Pretty straight forward.

Sanguinius - I feel like it'd be cliche and also wrong to say demiromantic asexual. Aspec for sure. Maybe homoromantic? Maybe biromantic? He's tough to put a good finger on in terms of vibes.

Ferrus Manus - This is a gay man. Homosexual aromantic. I do not think he'd be very into a romantic relationship.

Angron - Heteroromantic asexual. If he ever had the true capacity for romance, anyway. The Nails probably stole it from him.

Roboute Guilliman - This one is tough. I want to say something aspec, as I said before maybe demi or grey. I don't think it's hard ace for him. In terms of a romantic orientation... Tough. I think he'd be interested in trying a date with a man, but I do want to say heteroromantic. Not closing himself off to the possibility of also being into them, but if he is bi-or-panromantic, he still has a preference for femme-presenting people and women.

Mortarion - See, most would probably also assume asexual, and I would maybe agree, but I've always had a thing in the back of my mind where he's just straight. Heterosexual man. Nothing wrong with it. He may be aromantic or just not interested in a relationship.

Magnus the Red - Aromantic asexual, I will say this with my full chest. Not opposed to a relationship, potentially, but would rather sex not be involved.

Horus Lupercal - I've seen some people say he's a bisexual disaster and while I can see where people are coming from, he's always had big asexual vibes, someone who's up for sex if his partners want it but is also just as fine without. Pan/omniromantic for sure though.

Lorgar Aurelian - Asexual for sure. I am consistently flipping between a bunch of different romantic orientations for him. I think he'd be an oriented demiromantic, but on the other hand. Hmm. He's tough. I saw panromantic and I think that is correct. May have a more masc preference though.

Vulkan - I feel like demisexual kinda cheapens him since everyone has flanderized him into being the "friendly" primarch, but it does feel fitting after everything I've read on him. So demi it is. Romantically... tough. Part of me wants to say aromantic. Another part wants to also put him as heteroromantic. One of those two.

Corvus Corax - Heterosexual, probably. I can definitely see him as a Castlevania-Dracula-"if you hurt my wife I will scour the lands and make sure your souls are damned for eternity"-type.

Alpharius/Omegon - It's a mystery, OooOooOO! I'm not gonna cop out like that. Based on what I've read, I see heterosexual aromantic. May be open to experimenting with men or androgenous people, but solidly prefers women as partners.

Bonus Round:

The Emperor of Man and Malcador are gay lovers. I have seen the light. I have read The End and the Death. They are homosexuals.

hello Mist, I have been wondering if I could ask for little headcanons or just your point of view if the archons would decide to change their human form if the creator is favouring the other gender in romantic relationships? Cause I can not stop thinking about that suggestion in archon quest that Morax had a female form and I wondered which archons would actually be comfortable with that just to gain creator favour and which would not

-for my (fellow) dragon loves,yes,that does mean dragon/half dragon form Zhongli (femme or masc doesn't matter atp,you still gotta dragon partner 🤭)

-Now,venti isn't completely willing. Not because he isn't comfortable with it,quite the opposite actually.

-Give him some time to think

-Cus unlike Zhongli,Venti won't immediately jump on it

-he's the God of freedom,meaning he isn't just gonna change himself for just anybody

-but at the end of the day,if you give him some thinking time,he'll say yes

-he actually likes this form more than he thought he would...

PROS: - VERY fluffy tail, perfect for hugging and/or petting - Speaking of hugs- Also very physically affectionate. Petting is only to be done near the tips unless you're near an inn room or other such place. - Has it in his vocal cords to make Cat Noises, and will purr, make little 'Mrrp' sounds, hiss when startled, yowl when angry, and make the little chattering noise at people who annoy him (which is VERY cute, and VERY embarrassing for him when caught) - Has an insatiable wanderlust, which is why he became an adventurer in the first place. He gets a MAJOR case of zoomies whenever he enters an unfamiliar place, and has to explore asap. - If he didn't sign on with the Scions, he probably would have made himself a cozy little spot in the Gleaner's Guild. He loves gathering and being outdoors very much. - SEXUALLY - Submissive af, despite appearances; Will top if asked, but prefers to bottom; A BRAT, but only because he likes to be manhandled and made to submit. If you tie him down (or up) even better. :3c - ROMANTICALLY - Pure of heart, dumb of ass. He's the sweetest of lovers, having been raised on Menphina's teachings, and is generally quite in-tune with his lovers' needs. Going so far as to pick up on the things that aren't said and coaxing it out into the open. Very generous with his time and energy, and will do The Most to make sure his lovers are happy.
