i rarely ever post my own art on here anymore but i do have a small collection of amnesia doodles i made when bunker released bc im mentally fucking ill. i prolly need to draw these protags more. i love these absolute losers.

Daisies, like many flowers, symbolize new beginnings. Blackthorns, though prickly, offer a safe refuge for birds to roost and nest. Put together, I think these flowers are truly a perfect match for Ahiru and Fakir, whom by helping and supporting each other, are able to leads everyone to a new beginning at the end of the story.

That being said, those of you who’ve watched the anime to the end know the scene I depicted is not canon. But those last words from the narrator, combined with the image of a winged Ahiru making the sign for love with the words “Auf Wiedersehen” (which in German literally means “until we meet again”) left a HUGE impression on me as a fan all the way back in 2006. I always felt it was an invitation to the audience to imagine their own story for Ahiru and Fakir’s future, and safe to say, it launched a thousand ships within the fandom and birthed a whole slew of fanfics in its wake. I was amongst those who set out with their own stories for these characters, though mine ended up going the AU route and is still chugging along, 15 years later! 😆

And that is all for the Princess Tutu floriography series! I’ll be focusing on said fanfic for a bit but I hope to start on some additional Sailor Moon designs later on. They thought it would be easy. Maybe you would go away in just a couple weeks, either done with your task, or hell- maybe you weren't that good and they'd get a replacement. Seems Ghost and Soap weren't so lucky. You were good at your job, damn good. You got the information they needed barely in a couple days. Laswell and the captain agreed to sign you onto the next mission, then the next.. now they were even considering making you a full fledged member of the task force.

Not only were you good at your designated tasks. But fuck. You were already acclimating well on the base, on the team. Already knowing Laswell, you came in with a good respect for eachother. You and Gaz bonded fairly quickly, apparently you briefly lived in his hometown around highschool. Not that you knew eachother deeply, just passed eachother in the halls. And Price, damn those paternal instincts, had done well taking you under his wing. Making sure things were accessible for you, making sure you didn't question your role here. You were soft spoken, he'd be damned if he let anyone on base walk over you.

You got along with everyone. Everyone except them. You definitely strayed away from the couple, slipping out of the room when they came in. If you couldn't leave you'd at least quiet down. You could meet Johnny's eyes if he asked something directly, with some brief glances away. But Simon definitely intimidated you the most, you didn't even look him in the eyes. But you were civil, speaking when spoken to, still handing them their designated information for missions. Wishing them luck just as you do the captain and Gaz. You were simply distant, as far as you knew, it was for your own good.

They couldn't deny their part in it. Simon directly threatened your life, Johnny did too- just having the slightest bit of subtlety about it. At first, with your growing kinship with the team, they were sure you were going to give them away. Not to mention, you saw Simons face. God did it make his spine itch, those he trusted saw him unmasked, he certainly didn't trust you. Simon is ashamed to say he tampered lightly with your computer in the first week, with little hope that you'd fuck up and be transferred. He knows it's low. He knows it's a bastard move. But you were a threat, a threat of losing Johnny. This little stunt didn't work, you completed your task without a hitch. Not even mentioning the clear tampering, you never reported it.

It was the second week that they stopped any sabotage towards you. The fact that you surprised them was an understatement. They made a mistake, one of the recruits saw them wander out of a room in the barracks together- looking.. out of breath to put it lightly. They were sure this was it, caught red handed, they'd be pressed on the subject and eventually the truth would come out. But you, just as Price questioned them, lifted your head and piped up.

"They were just helping me-"

Both Gaz and the captain blinked at you. You barely spoke to the pair, so you asking them for help was news to them.

"You? .. With what?"

Price questions with a raised brow, hand rising to paw at his own beard lazily. You shrugged.

"..I uh.. Had to move some furniture in my room in the barracks.. I can't push the dresser by myself sir."

All that day guilt swarmed in the two men's stomachs. Maybe they were being too harsh. So far you kept your promise, more than that really. Johnny's lips pursed once it was just him and Simon in his room.

"We cannae keep doin' this. Felt bad 'bout it before, now it's damn right cruel."

He mutters, dragging his nails over his scalp through the thick fur of his mowhawk.

Simon stayed silent but nodded in agreement, leaning up against the wall.

"Can't get rid of her now."

He mumbles in confirmation. Johnny scritches at his stubble slightly, which earned a light push on the wrist from Simon- Johnny had a habit of nervous ticks. Whether bouncing his knee or lightly scratching, either way the Lieutenant was trying to break him of it.

"Maybe we shouldn' have tried t' all."

Johnny grumbles. Regret weighing on him. They jumped to conclusions. Now feeling like a right arse. They quite literally were picking on a disabled woman in the workplace, looking like fucking idiots while doing so too. Especially considering that woman just helped them stay out of prying eyes.

Tonight the group was going out to celebrate, it took you some convincing from Gaz to come along with them. Teasing that you had to come since the mission wouldn't have gone well without you. Now you didn't believe him in the slightest, but praise had always been your weakness. So here you were, trailing beside them as they entered the old building. Price walking behind you, despite you saying you didn't need his help pushing the chair, he liked to remain close just in case you changed your mind.

The bar was nice, Gaz had told you it was the groups favorite. Cheap liquor, good music, and fairly empty most of the time besides regulars. You didn't mind the place either, the warm lighting soothed your nerves. Sinking a little into your seat comfortably. Heading over to the table with the rest of the guys. Gaz slides away a bar stool, letting you pull up your chair in the spot instead.

"Thanks Kyle."

You smile warmly, crossing your arms and leaning your elbows on the tabletop. The group moves to sit down. Gaz on your left, Ghost and Soap across from you, Price at the head of the table. Purposely sitting in the back so the bartender couldn't catch him lighting up a cigar as they waited on their usual drinks.

"Damn lucky this time boys."

The captain mumbles. Soap gives a cheeky grin and bumps shoulders with his Lieutenant beside him.

"Y'know I'd prefer ta call it skill Captain."

While idly chatting about the mission, drinks were slid onto the table by the bartender. You couldn't help but stifle a laugh into your hand as Price was being scolded for the smoke in his hand. Gaz however openly chuckles. Ghost huffs in amusement under his balaclava. Soap grinning ear to ear.

"No captain here Price, that lass is tellin' you off like hir own bairn-"

"Shut it.."

The older man groaned, tossing his hat on the table.

Sipping on the bourbon in your glass you watch with a quiet smile as the four bicker playfully between eachother. You sunk willingly into their background, not minding it at all. Honestly, you found comfort in it. So when Gaz proposed a game of pool over to the middle of the bar, you politely decline, deciding to nurse your drink at the table. However you swallow thickly as all four leave. Except one.

Simon stays seated across from you, making you shift uncomfortably in your chair. Looking down at the liquid in the glass, tracing your fingertips along the rim. You wanted to say something. Anything. Frustrated wasn't quite the word you felt with this man. Well, both of them. You open your mouth, glancing up you find the masked brute is staring right back at you. Closing your lips, jaw clenching. You notice him take a breath, before lifting his glass- slipping out his words right before taking a drink.

"You're awfully quiet."

The words come out of him, as if he isn't one of the reasons. You blink at him, brows furrowing. At first you wonder if he's fucking with you, being sarcastic. But it doesn't matter for your answer. You look down at your cup again, picking it up.

"Not really. We just don't talk much.."

You mumble in return. He's still watching you. You can't help but glance towards the other three, well mostly the two you feel comfortable with. But you find that Price is focused on the game and Gaz is most definitely busy teasing him for it.

There's another long moment of silence. You're glaring at the wood of the table. You both want to speak now, but the words are difficult to find. Hiding instead in frequent glances of distrust. You throw back the glass and down your drink, letting the liquid burn down your throat. Looking Simon straight in the eyes you say sternly.

"I know you have an issue with me. The both of you."

It's Simons turn to blink at you. He's not going to deny it. He's showed it rather clearly in his opinion. But. He does feel the urge to explain. It wasn't personal. He wants to say. He just can't lose Johnny. You were a risk. You were a risk he just wasn't willing to take.

"I don't care."

These are the words that catch him off guard. You stare at him in defiance. You're gripping your glass tightly with both hands.

"You don't have to like me. You can hate me if you want too. But I'm not going anywhere."

You say sharply. Simon hasn't heard you speak like this before. Usually you can be rather meek.

He shifts, opening his mouth to speak.

"We-"

"I know you were on my computer too."

Simon swallows his words instantly. His eyes were cold, he's gripping his glass just as hard as you are. Taking a long drink. You continue, he doesn't interrupt.

"I care about this team. I care about Price. I care about Gaz."

He expects that to be the end of it, but by the look of determination and the flush on your face, he's wrong.

"And whether you like it or not. I care about whether you and Soap get back from each mission too."

You take a deep long breath, your shoulders sinking slightly. You just wanted it off your chest, your eyes soften and you glance away again.

"You can be as terrifying as you want. You're not going to take this job away from me."

You say. Looking up at him slowly.

"So if you excuse me- .. I'm going to go lose horribly at pool."

You say with an unreasonable amount of confidence. Pushing back from the table to roll towards the group of three. Leaving Simon at the table with your outburst and a half full drink.

He can't help but stare holes into the back of your head. Downing his drink in one gulp. He underestimated you.

Seems like my choice of worst dragon is out! (It was the Cavern Crasher. Cool name, horrible sleazy beast, like what even in the). What's yours?

i didn't include either fury in the previous bracket bc i knew toothless would body every other species and honestly ive seen that happen before so i dont care to see it again

however, i have included both in this bracket bc i would love to see the light fury be crowned as worst. i dont know if that will actually happen bc i think as a fandom we're quite good at picking apart the little things... i still want to see the light fury lose

i hate its beluga whale face and tiny inbred ankles and glitter scales and every "female" trait they could force on that god forsaken thing. for a movie that went all out of realistic environments and sand particles and hyper detailed scale colouring they really just went "whats gonna sell as a plushie best?" and called it good enough

im going at this with a focus on design but as someone with an art degree (that im not ever even gonna use now??? let me grieve) thats whats standing out to me. and not everyone is gonna judge based on appearances bc i purposefully left that door open so we could judge these dragons overall instead of specific traits.

but while we're on the topic

hard agree on the cavern crasher. like admittedly its not a bad design, its just gross af and i avoid looking at the screen when it turns up bc it does actually turn my stomach a bit. "mucus" is bad enough without splashing it on everything & adding squirting sounds..

i hate the knock off pokemon types too, so shadow wings, triple strykes, sandbusters, shellfire also kinda fits that, submaripper, buffalord is a bit nebulous but also fits. im probably forgetting a few. grim gnashers are weirdo looking things but it felt more like the designers tried on those things.

mostly i hate the things that dont look like they have the potential to be real. like i can see any other dragon getting adapted to an irl performance pretty well but how in tf would you deal with a shadow wing? thats straight up a pokemon (derogatory).

Critiquing my own old designs for a transformation

Hi! So, a while back, @devilheartsblog had a fic idea that has since been lost into the mists of stuff that was very exciting at the time, and still is, but is sadly probably never going to claw its way to life, but in relation to that idea, we needed an ice-themed transformation (that wasn’t Lovix). So, I pitched the name ‘Glacix’, and came up with some designs! This was months ago, and I recently looked at the designs again, and I realised that, as much as I’d love to look and say, ‘Oh, wow, I’m a design genius and Rainbow should hire me today,’ I can’t. My reactions to my designs range from ‘Oh, I love that!’ to ‘Oh, why did I do this?!’ So, I decided to make a post showing the designs and critiquing them. I’m gonna put a ‘keep reading’, because otherwise this is gonna be way too long.

Bloom:

9/10. I’m actually in love with this. This was the first one I designed, and I was working out the style of the transformation, so I was a bit freer with her look, since I hadn’t made any guidelines for the form yet. The blue and orange look really good on her, and I’m in love with the braid! I designed the form with a figure-skater aesthetic, hence the little skirt, the tights, and, my favourite, the skate heels! They’re probably super impractical, but Butterflix got away with crazy heels, so I’m going with this. My only issue with this design is that her wings are pretty basic, even though the form is meant to be around base level in terms of power, so they shouldn’t be too complicated, but they’re the same as all the other Glacix wings, just a different colour, which I’d be complaining about if this was in the show, so I’m marking this look down for.

Musa:

8/10. I like it, I like it a lot, but…something about it just feels pretty disjointed. The skirt doesn’t feel in-keeping with the skater look, and she’s definitely missing some earmuffs/headphones. I like her braids, but they feel like they could be more interesting. But I love the red and purple colour scheme! Musa looks really good in it. Love the pigtails, and the black gloves, and the skate heels having musical note details is really nice. Again, the wings, but I have that issue with everyone.

Stella:

7/10. The oranges blend together, and the lighter orange blends into her hair, which could maybe be more interesting? The blue is kinda stark, but I do really like it. Love the knee-high boots, and I like the waist, but I have mixed feelings on the sleeves. The skirt is good. I’m starting to think this form might have looked good with coloured streaks in the girls’ hair. Her skates are…a bit off.

Flora:

7/10. It’s so pretty, and the twin braids are so cute, though they start too high on her head, but…it’s too simple. And the colours feel too pastel, and they give me a childish vibe. She has a bit of a ballerina feel, which I guess I like, but I don’t know, the look is too simple, and the colours are dancing on the line between working and not. She just has nothing that stands out, and Flora needs to get some attention.

Tecna:

10/10! Maybe it’s conceited to give your own design full marks, but I can’t help it! I love this! Even the samey wings work here! They’re so sharp and angular, and the stark colour scheme makes her stand out, and I’m so in love with the two little buns! Her skates are so sharp and vibrant, and it all just feels very Tecna. So proud of this one. This is probably the only one where I’d change absolutely nothing.

Aisha:

3/10. Gaaah, I feel so horrible! Aisha’s is just…oh, what did I do to my girl?! The colours don’t work, the boots make zero sense, the skirt is just a testament to me trying to find seven ways to draw a figure skater skirt… Oh, Aisha, I’m so sorry. And her hair, while pretty, feels like it could have been so much more! Go crazy with braids! Don’t just take her original hairstyle and braid the front bits back! I do like the wave details on her skates, and I actually quite like her top, though I don’t love it. All in all, I think I owe Aisha an apology. This…this is not good.

Roxy:

4/10. Again, I owe a Winx an apology. Why is it so pink?!? And it clashes! Badly! The colours aren’t good… Pink isn’t even Roxy’s colour! Not really. And not this much… Roxy should be in green, which I guess she is, and maybe purple. I like her in teal, too. She’d suit Aisha’s design better. On the plus side, I like the warrior vibes I get from her hair, and, colour aside, I actually love her boots. They’re awesome. Her top is pretty good, and her skirt is alright. I actually like Aisha’a skirt better. The gloves being so long is pretty cool, but I’m left confused if they’re gloves or just the sleeves of her top.

So, overall, I like the form, I think it’s cute, and I think it’s definitely better than Butterflix, but I don’t think it’d place highly on a transformation ranking. It needs individual wings, and the designs need work. But I did have fun designing it, then critiquing it later! What did you think?

also the fact that the distinguishing features betwix the elves and fairies (besides from wings) is the fact that all the fairies are like. White and skinny to midsize old guy and the elves are like. That’s a person you’d see on the street

yeah they really used character design for evil in this one because like in isolation i think theres soo much to love about strange magics designs. i know the vaguely uncanny valley nature of the models is going to be a dealbreaker for a lot of people but ! their little clothes made out of plants and scraps of fabric and lost buttons and insect parts! sunnys ladybug hat! the way everyones hair is so Shaped in a way that suggests a stiffer fibrous texture! all the little details that make inherently unnatural fantastical creatures feel completely at home in a natural environment!

and tbh part of me still loves the definitely uncanny almost skeletally skinny base model for the fairies. that and theyre big eyes really do give them a very eerie insectoid look that i wish theyd had the guts to lean into more lol. and the contrast between the fairies who are characterized by these long thin bodies and sweeping elegant movements vs the elves who are all round and blunt and blocky shapes with this sorta low center of gravity that places them more firmly on the ground vs the wild diversity of shapes and sizes when it comes to the goblins like very clearly identifies who everyone is in this world and how they kinda relate to each other, and i maintain that a lot of the uncomfortableness that comes with how this world is laid out couldve been alleviated by just. making some of the fucking fairies brown.

like its not as if its especially unique for this brand of kids fantasy movie to have a visible class divide thats never examined, or use conventional beauty standards as a visual cue for importance if not morality. the main reason imo it feels so glaring here is specifically because all the fairies we see are very white and even aside from one of the only elves we really spend any time with being black a lot of the elves features in general read as more racialized.

and i dont think this was necessarily intentional. high fantasy in general has a consistent and historical problem with favoring whiteness, thinness, and eurocentricism. if anything, i think this is just what happens when you make something built on those existing sorta tropes and dynamics without putting any thought into what they represent.

Wings of Fire thingy

I loved doing this, it was really fun. I couldn’t fit everyone I wanted to, I may do this again with more dragons, I just thing the book series is pretty neat. Some notes about the designs and the characters in general:

DARKSTALKER: I hate him, but I think he is quite interesting, I want him to die in very horrible ways, and to study him under a microscope. Regarding his design, I tried to make him green because of Foeslayer, and also wanted to nod to Arctic with the diamond shaped scales, instead of the teardrop ones. Also i gave him huge pupils, to make him more creepy i guess.

GLORY: I just think she’s neat, I didn’t change much about her design, since its pretty recognizable and cool. Her book is my favorite one out of the first arc ones, I really like when she first entered the rainforest, she’s just badass overall. Glory honestly slayed the whole book and I kinda hate how Tui gave her a love interest, i just feel like it wasn’t necessary and it just annoyed me lol.

PERIL: I honestly kinda hated her at first, but she’s one of my favorites now. Her story is very interesting and I think that her whole character growth journey is very endearing. Her design was always pretty cool, But i added some more light blue accents because i think they just bring the design together better.

ANEMONE: She is just neat to me, and i really like her design, mostly because of her colors. I always imagined her with glasses for some reason, I didn’t add them because I don’t know how to draw them lol. Something I didn’t like about her character, was that the only reason she had animus powers was because of Turtle, i really hated that.

SNOWFLAKE: I just related to her, like quite a whole lot. I would like to see more of her, I feel like they could do more with her character. I gotta be honest, i hate drawing icewings, they all just look the same to me.

SNOWFALL: I really liked her book, probably my favorite out of arc 3, I really liked her story and personality, her interactions with Lynx were also very entertaining, her warm tones are based on the cover of her book, i know its just the lightning but i felt like it was something worth nodding to.

FREEDOM: She was a very entertaining antagonist and the only reason i like Luna’s book to be honest…. She’s pretty tragic and I find her interactions and whole dynamic with Cottonmouth really funny. I felt inclined to give her antennae like the silkwings but ultimately decided against it. Her personality reminds me of myself and we have same vibe.

PYRITE / HAILSTORM: They are just… tragic, And I crave for more of her story, its just left unfinished (at least that what it feels like to me) I just need to know what happened to her after the whole duel with Winter, I need to know what happened, Its just- DCBUDHCJSKSMLX.

Time... to be a little insane <3

I entirely blame @hoverboards-and-dragons for all of this. They introduced me to the God and Archangels concept brainrot and then the Roo brainrot. And this should help explain any drawings we do with these funky designs too.

First, lets meet the cultivator of creation himself, Ady (Adonai)! (AKA the 'God' figure)

He's a gigantic plant entity that can re-arrange his floral body in ways of slightly less concerning body horror. One moment he has paws, the next, all the roots in his legs mangle and reform into claws. The yellow cloak of leaf-fur can expand into wings, but he doesn't use those all that often. He's large, a big beast. Just a massive mass of plant deity that is incredibly soft to touch.

Creation is his garden and he intends to remove it of all parasites through any means necessary.

He also will photosynthesize in the sun. He's not mediating. He's eating. Let him eat in peace.

Meanwhile... we have the parasite he's been trying to rid creation of from day one.

Roo! The 'root of evil' in Ady's creation garden (Their garden)

Where Ady is gentle fun leaf-based body horror, Roo is straight flesh and gore. A parasitic mole in the eyes of Ady and by extension his creations, Roo is something that needs to be exterminated, though none have the power to do so. She's got plant-like elements to her, something that insults Ady personally, due to her 'lure' human-like form sprouting out of the mouth like a flower.

Oh yeah, it's a lure. What easier way to draw prey into the jaws of death than to look like a struggling victim in a sinkhole? It also makes Ady feel uncomfortable beyond belief after the lure becomes more human-esque to specifically and personally drive Ady insane. They're awful to each other. Complete enemies who drove each other to become who they are today. If they aren't ripping one another's throats out, they're being the pettiest people alive.

Roo is a lot more chill compared to Ady. She kinda just does her thing, as she too is fundamental in creation. Roo and Ady spawned together in the abyss and expanded it to become more. No matter how vile her action or how Ady ensures all know her as evil and rot, Roo is vital to creation. They even created their first living organism together in collaboration. That is when it turned for the worst, as their morals clashed until they started to flash their teeth and unsheathe their claws in battle. Ady is generally well put-together, despite being a complete goofball on the outside. But when Roo is around? All his whimsy is gone. There is only mutual hatred and violence.

They're both big beasts, and the full body of Roo is yet to be determined. They're so fascinating because everything would be going so well if they just. Didn't resort to violence and aggression when things dont go their way. They're the only ones who can truly pose a physical threat to one another, and therefore are the only ones they lose their own composure's around.

Still working on the finer details, as these are just concepts at this stage, but I love them dearly. They're awful I hope they maul each other so thoroughly that they cannot tell each other apart in the carnage they make.

Roo kind of became just the blame for everything. Yeah she takes full credit for the things she did do-- she doesn't regret anything. But Ady sees her as the core source of evil, when all he wants to do is spread and nurture good. Roo has accepted the role of evil, not really caring for nor needing a definition for what she does, and Ady kind of forces everyone to see her as nothing but evil. Good and Evil just happen, but both have strange relationships with the ideas. I'm still figuring it out but like. Everything is a grey area can you two stop and accept that please! No? Well. Just keep arguing then I guess.

But yeah she's sick of Ady's shit as much as Ady is beyond frustrated and furious at her.

I also did her demon disguise / form! I don't know how to describe clothing or anything but I really like her. And the downward markings on her stomach is her body showing. It's like a slightly soft exoskeleton? I don't know how to explain pffff.

I then decided to also go ahead and do a human version of Ady. Comedy gold I tell you. Both of these guys make me very happy <3

And as a treat, I also did rough ideas for how Lucifer and Micheal look!

And before anyone says anything, no, those aren't top surgery scars. They are natural markings. Since Lucifer is the morningstar, rising before the sun, it's supposed to make the star on his chest look like it is rising, where Micheal, the eveningstar, is supposed to be setting! (I'd say falling, but that feels... disrespectful lmao)

They also get the leaf-fur elements and some more nature theming due to my idea really focusing on the garden aspect (because it is so fun and i love plant / bug / animal designs so much). Also tried to make Lucifer look more snake-like where Micheal really seems to be heavy on the bird elements (did I hear birds hunting snakes? No? well... what a very funny thing to hear from the wind ehe)

Uhhh yeah. First time trying to ramble out a few of the concepts I have. No idea if I explained anything well but hey! What are rough first drafts if not scribbles on a page?

ABO, Mpreg, Alpha Max / Omega Daniel, ~800 Words.

This was the first fic that I wrote about Maxiel when my friend asked me to take a look at this madness of a couple. And I did and went insane. So the dynamic is not very exactly what I think they will share if I write it again but I think it is kinda funny nevertheless.

Family Day was usually Daniel's responsibility. Daniel was super popular among kids, parents, and teachers – at this point, it was no surprise. Every time he went to pick up Jasper, their little boy, he brought some snacks and bribed many of the kids' classmates, which went a very long way.

Although Daniel loved Family Day very much and even wanted to take the opportunity from Max again, the healthy development of a child required both fathers to do their jobs. It was really weird how he got to this point if you thought about seven years ago. Daniel had been (literally) screaming like a pile of chicken in front of the mirror when he took a look at the pregnancy test and woke up Max, who went straight into full panic mode. He had only had some dumbass experiences with kids, them flopping to the ground and crying, and he had been dying, laughing his brain out by their side.

How he had made it this far, he had no clue, but for one, Daniel was very proud of himself.

He had to comfort himself with something good because Max going to Family Day alone was stressing him out. Max was a very good dad, don't get him wrong, but sometimes they, both of them, pulled some ridiculous dad shit that a dad would do.

The theme of Family Day was to build electric toy cars. Parents and kids worked together, and based on the results of a series of small games, they could choose different parts to assemble the final car. Finally, the cars raced on a 100-meter track on the playground.

Both Verstappens were very serious. Between the two, one was much more serious than the other—one of them went to the teachers almost at every step to discuss the reasonableness of the race design. Well, this indeed put the teachers and the principal in an awkward position. This seriousness could be understood because Family Day was planned based on the parents' different professions, and the WDC was probably not included in the teachers' prepared plans originally. Max thought they should. This was Monaco, at the end of the day.

Things finally got out of control when they were ready to bring the race cars on the scene. Little Verstappen had probably never been treated this way by his dad, as Max just snatched away the better toy tire that they won from the previous game. He faced his deflated tire on his toy car and watched his dad write on his own car: "No.1 Verstappen."

"Daddy," he poked Max's waist. "I am No.1 Verstappen."

"Who said that?" Max raised the toy car in his hand and examined it from the back (rear wing), actually not even giving his son a glance.

"Papa. Papa said I am the best Verstappen!" the son said proudly, patting his chest.

"Papa's number is 3. How does he know who No.1 is?" Max said sincerely. "Papa is lying to you. I think I am No.1, and everyone can see that. I mean you also have Ricciardo in your name!”

Jasper just could not understand what he was talking about. He’s six. But Max just kept going.

“And you know, daddy’s name is Max. Do you know what Max means? Max means the greatest in English. Which means No.1.”

“And also the first No.1 to your papa. Most importantly.” He added. Sebastian’s face showed up in his mind for a moment, which made his voice even louder and clearer.

At least this time his son got the memo.

When Daniel arrived at the scene, his son was still sobbing in the teacher's arms and didn't want to come out. Max stood beside the teacher, looking helpless, with messy hair and shirt. He tried to coo and had no luck whatsoever. He scratched his head, also on the edge of freaking out as he glanced at Daniel, with a scent full of chaos. "We haven't even competed... He has been crying! Why is he crying?"

Daniel's veins were about to pop from his head. He apologized to the teacher, half-knelt in front of little Ricciardo-Verstappen, wiped his tears, hurriedly offered him a strawberry lollipop, and then hugged him, patting Jasper’s back, while giving Max a stern look. "What did you say?"

"I didn't say anything, I mean, my car is just a little better than his, that's the truth..."

An Alpha being stared at by an Omega and retreating, how strange. Max began to pull his hair again, and he started to explain with his hands everywhere. "I said I am the number one Verstappen... You shouldn't lie to him because I mean you love…"

"Max Verstappen," Daniel interrupted. "Shut your mouth."

I think by the end of a somewhat confusing back and forth that I was supposed to make a combo of Bulbasaur, Medusa, and poison ivy. I took inspiration from the last two, but just could not get Bulbasaur's plump little front half to look good morphed into a tail. instead, I went for more of a 'protector of the forest' thing and added a maternal vibe that Whitney kinda gives off and ended up with this. I wanted to put an emphasis on three for the three leaves of poison ivy, so even its tears (which may or may not be from sad edits and the inability to hug anything without poisoning them :(() carry that, as do the scales sporadically thrown around there. the arms became vines when I was too tired and frustrated to keep trying to redraw actual arms to get them to look right (oops) and the hair is just a mess as I'd expect vine-hair to be

next is @rauko-is-a-free-elf, who started this whole thing with a comment about someone mispronouncing their name as 'Rocco'

for whatever reason, I came up with an ice bird instead of something that screams 'rock type' idk why either. took inspiration from blue jays (one of their favorite birds) as well as peacocks with the tail and tried to go for sort of a crystal structure on there (along with dots that were supposed to be snow but failed to look like it) while still including the distinctive dark swoops blue jays have on their tails. the wings were supposed to be icicles and that was actually the first thing I designed rather than the head or the body. it really does make use of diamond shapes so I did try to add some rock type elements to it mostly in color scheme though maybe it would've been better without. I'm not really sure why it has a mask other than I wanted to give its face some dark lines like blue jays have but my brush was too thick to add too many little details. so mask👌

I didn't have any sort of a prompt or direction for this one and based it entirely off of their username. I originally took inspiration from Machop in the way of body shape and went from there, developing a vaguely reptilian form somehow that looked a lot more lizard-y before the dark typing came out in the form of skeleton-bits not unlike the Cubone line. the spiky bat there is a reference to The Walking Dead ofc, which led me to develop more of a baseball vibe with the dark line under its eyes representative of the grease baseball played use to reduce glare and with the sorta long sock-like design for the feet, along with the baseball stitching pattern that doubles as what's supposed to represent the stripes like all baseball uniforms have. its hands have always looked boxing glove-y from the very first beginnings of the sketch so I just colored them to match the rest of the color scheme and oh no now it's a fighting type oops

this one is also inspired by their username, which at first had me thinking about how dragons hoard coins but then somehow got turned into c a t and I don't really know why. either way I tried to keep a coin theme going (especially with its eyes, which are supposed to look like coins) while also making it a dark/fairy as sorta requested and it became a representation of the duality of cat: both angel and devil (also a twist of money being the root of evil and all that). so it got fluffy and spiky at once and now has pitchfork-themed whiskers and a few occult symbols to offset its scarf and heart motifs. I think this one was actually the first design I worked on and to the relief of everyone, I actually used a reference of a cat to get the pose right 🎉

(idk why there's a bad drawing of a nickel I think I was originally gonna make that into a background but I did decide against it in favor of making these look more like official pokemon character reference sheet things. enjoy the bad nickel anyway)

idk what happened with this one. I don't know much about anyrei and their username doesn't inspire much in the way of fakemon (beyond a few seconds where I thought of making a sun-inspired something with the 'rei' becoming 'ray'), so I went with a theme based on what I do know, which is that they paint, along with two pictures that they sent, one of which was Gothorita (the other was for a hairstyle I think but I did steal the funky red and black checkered tie from that because reasons). going off of that, this one is supposed to look like a paintbrush with its body and its edgy anime hair, and its belt continues carrying the paintbrush motif. since I was provided with the request to make it goth, I added thick eyeshadow-esque lines under its eyes and kinda used the hairstyle from the picture while also turning it into a paintbrush that utilizes their favorite color as the paint color. carrying the gothic art idea, I tried to make its lower half (originally meant to be a blobby sort of easel shape before I changed it) into something resembling stained glass windows that was famous at the time (I got confused multiple times while making the stained glass design so it's not all that consistent uh). it was supposed to be dark type, but ended up giving off more of a ghost/fairy vibe after I realized I accidentally made it a ballerina paintbrush (oops)

moving on to @as-lost-as-sams-shoe

this one is heavily inspired by their username, starting with the scallion, which is a kind of oniony thing. they themself actually added the 'wrapped' part to push the pun a little further, which made me think of Swadloon and its cozy little leaf blanket, which naturally led to the scallion with its massive head and slimmer body (to match the shape of an onion more than a scallion admittedly) to be all wrapped up. scallions have leaves that look like they were cut straight across, which lead to the development of its 'bangs' (which was also inspired by the fact that scallions themselves grow underground and only the leafy parts are seen, adding a 'shy' element) as well as the tassels along the bottom of its leaf-wrap. the lines along its body are made to represent both the rings inside of an onion as well as the word 'rapscallion,' which is a term that can be used to mean villain or bad guy, earning it prison-esque stripes. its eyes are massive as a play on onions making people cry, and the smaller parts of its eyes that I can't remember the names of are based off of onion rings. the skull and crossbones shape is just to make it pirate-y, which is what I can't not picture when I read the word 'rapscallion' for one reason or another

and finally @zybynarx, who gets a finished one as well as a sketch I scrapped and started anew

I actually had a lot to work with for this one, as they specifically asked for a fire type puppy pokemon. first instinct is ofc to go for a dalmatian, which is the firehouse dog or whatever, and I wanted to make the lower half black as a reference to that scene from 101 Dalmatians where they coat themselves in ashes to appear completely black. I made some firefighter-y stripes and tried to make its back legs look almost like boots which looks, in a couple of word, super weird. I then added tinder fluff on head and a kindling sort of thing on the neck, but when I tried to develop the back half's design, my brain sorta died and I couldn't decide what to do, so I went back to the drawing board fully intent on making like a complete copy of what I'd already tried

instead I ended up with this personification of tinder that's just all fluffy all the way down instead of the almost lion mane of tinder design I was originally picturing. I carried over the themes of adding firefighter stripes to allude to a firefighter's jacket as well as the kindling collar thing the other one had. I kept the bottom half black but made it more like wispy smoke than ash that trails behind it when it moves (which is a lot because puppy). the eyes are two pieces of coal and the nose is supposed to look like a match but doesn't. it looks very fluffy but is probably too squirmy to make a good lapdog. it just has that squirmy ball of energy vibe to it

whether people really like these or not, it was definitely a learning experience, and I did pick up on a lot of things to keep in mind for future fakemon designs (particularly not to overcomplicate things and go more for consistency, which I did not originally do as I wasn't planning on make them into character sheets at all and didn't plan beyond the main drawings of the fakemon)

(or other side characters aswell) I know you had posted some before but it was a instagram story reply that I cannot find again so I hope you could repost it here with a simple tag, because I really liked those outfits aswell and would like to see them more like other characters you posted ^_^

I hope I'm interpreting this correctly? You mean like their base designs, right? That's what I call them!

Typically when I design a character based off an animal, I try to design their "base designs" (including clothes) off their animal selves first and then when I put them in a game or something, I often try to then design clothes that fit more closely into their setting.

Like Mary for example!

The first picture is her original design, and it's much clearer to tell she's based off a manta ray from it. Her Cemetery Mary design was made to better fit into the setting she's in as well as be easier to draw multiple times. It's typically the one I draw her in most now for one of the reasons I gave it to her to begin with: It's easier to draw LOL(and at this point, it's most recognizable for her). However I would like to bring back a variant of her original design in future projects where she's in a more fantastical setting, and I try to reference it where I can--like the aquarium scene in Cemetery Mary!

As for other characters like this, I'll try to grab a few examples if I'm able!

Crowven's base/original design was a lot more monochrome, with emphasis on having his legs resemble that of real corvids! Although not drawn here, I often imagined Crowven having dark feathered wings sprouting out of his back at almost all times.

Twyla's base design kinda IS her Cemetery Mary design as she wasn't fully designed before then. I think for this reason it's why so many new players are able to catch onto the fact that Twyla is an owl before realizing that everyone's an animal. I think if I were to have designed her outside of Cemetery Mary, her design would be mostly the same, just with more browns and beiges and less purples. (And maybe a coat because just LOOK at all that owl fluff!)

Recently completed a patreon request of Gunter in his (normal)adult form which I think definitely makes him look more recognizable as a puppydog, Necrotary's first drawing DEFINITELY shows off her bat features better, Acanthibar's base design was made to be a meld of a prince and frog and I'm really happy with how I captured both in it!

I think that's all I'll share for now but maybe I'll expand upon this some more in the future!

Hi, I'm new here. I've been wanting to create a blog for a long time now. I wasn't sure how to start a blog, what exactly should I share. I meaan...I have a lot to share but I was thinking to my self..should I just be consistent and stick to one thing or would it be ok to do a little bit of everthing?? Well I guess we'll see since I'm kinda..winging it. lol

Today I'd like to share with you what I've been up to recently. I decided to give youtube a try. I love to game and thought why not..it might be fun. I recently finished a game and posted the short series. I still have a lot to learn about editing so it's not great to be honest but the good thing is I've learned a lot for my first time.Oh yes..from the many mistakes. It was not so fun starting over a lot, I'll tell you that ,yet I hope the next series is much better and maybe I'll even have some commentary.

The game I recently completed and posted on youtube is called 1bitHeart. It is created by, not a very well known, developer Miwashiba. This Japanese dev is from Fukuoka and has illustrated and created various cute and interesting RPG games. Miwashiba is known for creating their own pixel adventure games Alicemare, LiEat series,1bitHeart and the sequel 1BeatHeart.I just found out, while doing some research, that pool of creativity has not run dry just yet. In fact,there is a game in production right now by the name of The Faceless Double. You can find all of the games on steam; all but one,1BeatHeart.The game is available and you can find it here on this link.I have yet to give the game a try but so far the big difference I see between them is the more dull or muted colors and maybe less cuteness? It doesn't seem to be going on steam anytime soon so I'm a little hesitant to give it a go.

So far, all of the games that are available on steam are also published under the same publisher, PLAYISM. They publish a variety of genres. From story-focused games to Horror to strategy etc.

Now, I'll be honest, I didn't dive too much into the dev or the publisher so sorry I have no idea if there is any juicy gossip lol. I do though, want to tell you a little bit more about the game,1bitHeart. As far as I know, the game was released on steam back in 2017. The game is set in Japan, in the near future, where technology has progressed to the point that I'd say it's somewhat similar to now in our lives; it is used pretty much everyday, everywhere. It dominates the lives of everyone.

In the game, we play a young guy by the name of Nanashi, who spends most of his time indoors. He is very intelligent but a bit socially awkward. He meets a young girl by the name of Misane. While out making friends and solving mysteries, he learns of a frightening plot to take control of people via hacking. Together they set out to stop the people behind this evil plot.

I have yet to play the other games myself but I can tell you that this game, compared to the others, it's a 2D side scroller instead of using the top down perspective the others used.This allows for larger side view portraits of the game's many characters which lets the game to emphasize Miwashiba's incredible skill at designing cute characters and more detailed during dialogue. The game doesn't have turn based battles like LiEat, according to some other reviews, and also isn't solely based on exploration like Alicemare.The game has it's own systems. The hints being one, that helped me, which you get to chose to have them on or off in the very beginning. When you come across hackers and they attempt to hack the player, you defend yourself by directional inputs; which are basic. Still, the game is fun when you have to play detective and have the subsequent confrontations. You also progress the story by solving the various cases through the chapters during which you need to gather information and evidence.

Stardew Valley is a game I have played, but not finished but I can tell you that in the same way that you are able to give gifts to the characters that hang around the town in 1bitHeart you do the same. You'll trigger scenes once you become better friends with them but you are not able to romance any of the characters like in SV. This leads to one of the most impressive parts: there are actually about 48 characters in all that are spread across the town. Each with their own story, personality and style. The end goal, depending on what end you want, is of course, for these characters to become the main character's friend. You can see the amount of love and effort that was put into the game. In a review I read that the backgrounds during character's dialogue could use a little work. They probably could but I think it was done that way so the characters and their dialogue was the main focus.

Like I mentioned earlier, you need to give gifts to the characters in order to be friends but you need money or bits to buy gifts. You get bits by playing tetris-type minigames but it'll take A LOT of grinding=time to get enough bits to befriend everyone. Fortunately, the dev was aware of this flaw, as there is a secret in the game to acquire endless bits=endless gifts.

Honestly, I enjoyed the soundtrack. It's ok. One of my favorites its the opening theme.

The biggest gripe I have with the game is that I didn't see the option for borderless windowed or something to prevent the game from minimizing. The game would minimize each and every time I clicked out of the game. It was very frustrating and annoying. Honestly, it's one of the reasons why I'm hesitant to play them to record them.

I wonder if streaming would be easier in this case?? I don't want to totally give up.Anyway..If you made it this far, THANK YOU for taking the time to read my blog today. Let me know what your thoughts are...til next time!

SO! this is odd, but I've fallen down a rabbit hole of cults, cults documentaries really, and I listened to two different podcasts by 3 different former NXIVM members and one thing I found so very interesting is all 3 of them (and at least two of them were not Americans by birth, idk about one of them) all went out of their way to both sides the American political system, which the idea that people who vote for Joe Biden are "a little bit culty" vs people who you know Trump, there just isn't that same thing, for sure there are left wing political cults but they rarely have much influence in Democratic politics vs Qanon

any ways, it kinda dovetailed to something I'd thought/realized about cults, and maybe not all of them. People talk about how "any one" can fall for a cult and I get why they say that, but I think really they abuse people having narrower information bases than they think they have and abuse pop wisdom truisms. And like all of these people and a number of their Ex-cult member guests (even experts in cults) made different comments about being frustrated with the world and "our leaders" and politics and how "why can't they just get something done, it should be easy" and all of them wanting to or thinking they were saving the world/humanity by doing... nothing but being in this cult. And it's very that air of "I want change the world but don't want to do the work" you see (and that sounds mean, because these people worked themselves to the bone for these cults, but like not building schools or feeding the hungry) and also "these has to be a simple answer, it can't be this hard for everyone to just..."

and I think a lot, most, people reject complexity in and of itself, and lots of people believe the pop wisdom that corruption or selfishness is blinding "leaders" from the easy answer to fix the problems of the world. And I think thats what cults feed on, as well as people wanting to feel smart "you get the secret information, the answer, that everyone out in your normie life were too stupid or self involved to get"

And it is! Most things in life are complicated, particularly in the world we live in today!

I think your musings are pretty on point - this all reminded me of a quote from Joan Didion's “Life Styles in the Golden Land” in Slouching Towards Bethlehem:

So, here would be my current descriptions for the Fiasco plotline!

The Fiasco plotline is based a nice bit on "Long Nights" by Borath, but in the proposed follow up sense (because we know me, I love to explore how different circumstances would affect the events in the show). I took one look at the concept of this kid and immediately went "Wow, what if this kid showed up on Earth when they were more grown up?". And thus, the Fiasco plotline was born, because no my brain would not let go of this.

Our premise is that the Fortitude, this dinky little starship with a crew of four, arrives on Earth. Perhaps arrives isn't the right word, but rather moderately crashes. Everyone is okay, but the Fortitude is absolutely trashed. Fiasco, who always lives up to his name, isn't content with staying on the Nemesis with the somewhat overbearing crew there, so he immediately wants to check out all the things that make Earth Earth. Conflict ensues as from what we know in "Long Nights", Megatron has a million reasons to be anxious as hell over this kid (so much damn trauma), and Fiasco's desire to explore kinda defeats the point of keeping him as secret as possible because like. Assassination and stuff. Volley is here to keep the crew from accidentally offing themselves, and they very much do not want to end up an ashy smudge on the Nemesis's deck. 

Sunburst she/her, CMO of the Fortitude, Mom friend of the crew who will fuss over every damn scratch— a slightly smaller than average decepticon, overall rounded design not typical of a decepticon, blunt digits. Primarily dark red, orangy yellow, and silver with pink optics. Red helm, lower arms, top of shoulders, and pelvic plating. Yellow chassis, bottom of shoulders, some of the ventral area, and lower legs. Silver sides of abdominal plating, upper arms, upper legs, faceplates, and servos. Optics are a hot pink, with a lighter center. Altmode: obvious looking car. (Design is based slightly on RBA Hotshot and IDW Lug, but IDW Lug and TFP Ratchet personality wise. Is very dramatic but we love her for it, and she's often a voice of reason between the three kids of the Fortitude. Outlier with heat based abilities, she's able to increase the temperature of her plating and burn mecha if she chooses so. Second eldest of the group, one of the last generations of mecha forged.)

Slipbang, he/they, TIC of the Fortitude, pilot who isn't high no he's just like that— around average height but sorta lanky with a lot of pointy bits, removable mask but only removes it to drink, wings, rounded pointed digits. Surprisingly not intimidating in the slightest. Dark purple and blue, with some black stripes and red optics. Purple chassis, pelvic plating, and helm. Blue shoulders, lower arms, lower legs, and wings. Black upper arms, legs, tips of wings, two stripes down chassis, and abdominal plating. Two sets of long audials, fixed in place. Optics are pure red. Altmode: jet. (Based on IDW Spinster and TFP Soundwave looks wise, but kinda IDW Misfire and a little bit of college kid energy. This kid has two modes, drifty and laser focus— the latter of which makes them a great pilot. Simps loudly and frequently for Megatron, gaining groans from the rest of the crew but especially so Fiasco. Youngest of the group, late war cold construct.)

Fiasco, He/him, SIC of the Fortitude, megasound kid who causes so much damn trouble— slightly taller than average height with a moderately even build, visor (haven't decided if it should be built in or removable, but I've considered both options), datacables my beloved with the ability to transform the tips into blades, pretty pointy as well but less so than Slipbang, strong sharp digits. Silver and dark cyan. Silver helm, chassis, lower arms, upper arms, and most of the abdominal plating. Dark cyan pelvic plating, upper leg, lower leg, datacables, two patches on sides of ventral plating, and servos. Teal visor and periodic rings of biolights on datacables. Blind as a rock, that visor is exactly a facade, but definitely has a particularly strong EM field. (Design is well based on the idea of a TFP megasound kid, with some inspiration from S4 rid Soundwave because I am a fucking sucker for those teals okay? Personality is generally based on a belated rebellious phase, somewhat inspired by RID Rodimus? Second youngest of the group, as highlighted he's a megasound kid and was kindled.)

Volley, they/them, the Fortitude's captain, tired ass caretaker of the crew who is secretly a sweetheart— By far the biggest of the group, stocky build but thinner arms and legs, pointy bits but like think of a blunted kind of pointy, and long sharp digits. Primarily black, dark gray, and lighter silver highlights. Mainly black chassis, helm, dorsal plating, and pelvic plating. Dark gray underside of chassis, large portion of abdominal plating, lower arms, lower legs, and upper legs. Light silver servos, ventral plating, and upper arms. Mobile audials that typically point downwards. Red optics with white pupils—kinda like earthspark Megatron a bit actually, two red biolights on sides of helm and top of ventral plating. Altmode: beast form, almost reptilian, almost feline. (Very much based on a spinocon design, sue me, but I de-spino-ed the spinocon. Was at one point a frontliner before being assigned to basically babysitting. By far the oldest of the group, created pre-war… somehow. I haven't figured that out yet.)

Okay, okay, so let me give you some or just information about my FNAF (Security Breach specifically) OC’s!

Mx. Star:

Works in the daycare (why-)

She is more inspired by astrology (obviously ig)

Has the zodiac signs on her dress! They glow in the dark with the little stars on it

Their hair is puffy and soft and full of stars (inspired by when a star explodes and reforms, it’s honestly kinda pretty)

She has no mouth but can speak with her hands! (Sign Language) There are various types of sign language but she is very fluent in them

Plus, she kinda has speakers and a voice box

Carries two pockets that are strapped around her waist! One holds tarot cards and the other holds prizes and trinkets!

Did you know, Mx. Star has wings! They are designed to be like eldritch wings :0

Let’s say, she was intended to be more humanoid so more kids could come to the daycare *shrugs*

Side Note: Parental Figure for Solar (the next animatronic)

Solar:

Basically based off the solar system!

Obviously is in the daycare (omg why again-)

She was originally a boy

Back then, she was intended to be child-like and to get along with the kids. She was paranoid and scared of everyone.

Mx. Star took Solar under their wing (pun intended? Probably)

But for real, Star made sure Solar was comfortable and safe

And then boom! Solar actually got her design changed a little!

Her voice box changed just like requested and so did her outfit :>

Her socks *coughs* has a really really light pastel version of the trans flag! I thought it would be cool to add that in :]

Solar is also security! Security just incase no one else can take care of a bad guy for they can be busy or overwhelmed

Kitty:

Mmmm, cat animatronic but a security animatronic????

What’s up with me with security shit-

Kitty has an updated design but I didn’t care to actually draw it officially-

She has a little fish plush named Mr. Fish

Mr. Fish was given by a child before they left

So Kitty holds Mr. Fish dearly to her heart (chest? Gears?)

She takes most patrols during the day since her main job is to find missing or lost kids

Kitty also works in the Lost and Found! She helps bring back the lost items as well

She also is programmed to act like a cat sometimes so-

Kitty can have random tic’s or twitches (Tics or Tourette’s) and it doesn’t have to do anything with her code

She has a handler! You’ll learn about the handler later.

Theo the Mechanic:

You can find this guy on tiktok!

My user is @ghoststarcookie (I think-)

He is the main mechanic, well, used to be

At the time, he was the only one who was in Parts & Services that was active and had different functions that weren’t as advanced as the others

He also has a hard time remembering time and his routine so that’s where is partner comes along!

Vi! Vi is a cat like animatronic just like Kitty but is actually an accurate cat

Vi interacts with Theo telling him to “Come on!” or “We have to go!” by meowing or Morse code

The two are so wholesome :>

Imagine Theo and Vi hanging out and kids surrounding them asking if they can pet Vi; Theo letting them and Vi happily taking in all of the love and affection?

Mx. Valdez!:

A human staff!

Woah!

They are a mechanic and they took over Parts & Services, teaching Theo some things since he was just told to do it with no explanation

Mx. Valdez is also Kitty’s Handler

They act as a therapist or a person who can comfort her

Mx. Valdez often checks in with the both of them (Theo and Kitty) since they are their favorite *coughs*

They wear round glasses, a navy blue coat with Kitty sewed onto the pocket as long with star designs on the sleeves and pants

Curly brown hair into bun (half bun? Wait- Hair down but the top is a bun! I am not an expert with names of hairstyles-)

Tanned skin :]

Really really supportive
