thinking about Eunyung breaks my heart bc remember when he had a problem with stealing and managed to stop? but even then he still got accused of stealing and no one believed him when he said he didn't do it except for Haejoon?

or when he finally got a job at the restaurant aka a (somewhat) honest way to make money and afford to buy his own things? but he wasn't officially employed bc he's too young and got fucked over by his employer and got beat up by the guys at the playground during thanks giving when Haejoon spent days looking for him?

or when he the dorms filled up and he got that shitty roommate? the one he tried to get along with since the beginning but the mfer just wanted a room cleaner and free food? when Haejoon stepped in with the pan when the guy wanted to punch Eunyung?

<- these are all instances where Eunyung tried so hard to live a good and honest life, go on a straight path, be an upstanding citizen and a good person. every single time that shit blew up in his face royally and his efforts had gone to waste. he tried so hard and nothing came out of it. the mere thought makes pieces of my soul die.

this goes to show how hard it is to pull yourself out of where you started. the thing is, familiar things are magnetic. if you grew up surrounded by bad influences, you'll naturally gravitate towards them, no matter how hard you try get away, move on, do better. bc we naturally feel a pull towards things we're familiar with, things we know. think 'comfort zone', and how hard it is to get out of it.

that doesn't mean it is impossible to leave them behind, but it takes lots of time and effort, until you get used to the new good influences. until you learn to feel comfortable with what you're unfamiliar with.

you try, fail and try again. it's hard, but doable. when the universe throws lemons at you, you pick them up, squeeze them all into a water gun and shoot. aim for the eyes.

Mhmm I sure love thinking of the reality where we did get more time to really know Karai and her dynamics with the bros. Losing her hit hard in the finale, but it would’ve hit much, much harder had we known Karai longer and really saw her relationships develop with everyone.

I especially would have been interested in her dynamic with Leo, as past iterations often have the two of them clash in ideals and the like while still sharing many characteristics. Two sides of the same coin, and all that. Her specifically being the bros’ Gram-Gram also adds a whole new dynamic as well.

Imagine how interesting it would be, to have Karai start off on Leo’s side for once, showing wholly just how alike the two are at their cores and bonding as family without the worry of betrayal or animosity that other iterations suffer through, only to have Karai die anyway. Their parting hug and the desperate look of horror Leo wears later on would have hit that much harder, I feel.

I'm on a work trip--it's a class of people in my field picked from all over the country, so I don't know anyone else here--and the info packet I got basically said "people have told us they wish they'd been given a chance to meet everyone else before the class starts, so if you want to do that, show up to the hotel bar at this time and look for people who look like lawyers."

and I know. that I should go do this, because networking good. but also. this is weirdly stressful. how do I make sure that a group of random lawyers knows I am also a lawyer while still being casual and chill but not dressed formally at all

Bloodmoon in dresses collection, round two!

And this ones come with lore!

Starting off with Jack’s friend, Original, the lone Bloodmoon.

Due to living in the theatre he has a lot of access to the costumes, which means he can just grab whatever he wants whenever he wants. He grabbed a tutu and painted it red because any other colors are lame, and drew some patterns on it, it was Jack’s idea to add the ribbons, cloak fluff, and leg warmers.

He doesn’t know why, but he really likes these clothes. They feel familiar.

I spent a “normal” amount of time thinking about this next pair.

Bloody and Harvest aren’t ones to change their clothing a lot, but while they were walking around town they saw something that had a cool pattern that they both liked. This is something that rarely ever happens, their clothing tastes are extremely different, so obviously, they had to do something about it. It was later that they realized the cloth they saw was actually a skirt, and they were saddened by this fact for all of five seconds before realizing that it was actually a good thing, they could just wear it over what they were wearing already!

They really don’t look like it, but they’re actually kinda fine with this whole event (even if they really only have one thing to wear)

And the last one for today, Fang.

Fang wanted to participate because Scythe was participating and seemingly having fun, but Fang didn’t know where to get the clothes from. And then Fang remembered that the Sun-Man (Sunset) had a lot of clothes in his room. So Fang stole the dress from the Sun-Man. Fang also saw some pretty flowers on the way back, so Fang took the flowers too. Scythe helped with the hat and ribbons

putting this at the top because it's extremely important but i received a message implying that some folks headcanon these two as drastically different ages. you may headcanon whatever you like of course, but in my work i firmly think that they're both full adults who are at least 25+. this is abundantly clear in my work. i'm not interested in headcanoning any of them as literal children and i would never touch that shit. dni if you think that sort of ship would actually be okay. don't be a freak. thanks.

very typical to take your favs and then also shove them together but isn't that the point. anyway i have literally never seen anybody else ship them (if you're out there... hello... 😭) despite them both being very main characters and i don't know why?? they could be so cute i think...

they are both industrious adventurers, prolific hard-workers (team task doers), and a little cheekily competitive!

i think that bandee is no stranger to a wide variety of close and intense relationships; he's beloved by many and loves them all equally but distinctly in turn. magolor on the other hand has been sooo isolated and lonely for such a long-ass time, he barely knows how to be friends let alone really care for someone. bandee is smart enough to be suitably wary but kind enough to give him a chance despite that, which i think would knock him off his non-existent feet instantly. in reply, magolor could give him something unique by loving and prioritising him utterly singularly, in a way bandee wouldn't even have realised he was missing

in awtdy (pictured in the sketch page; if you see a tattered looking magolor in my art it's probably this au) in particular they are both thrown into the angst soup together and come out insanely trauma bonded at the hip. their friendship/relationship is central to the plotline; together they're working on a solution to the timeline anomaly, while also hiding that they even really know each other the whole time

He's still a cannibal (I really liked that part) he does like to smile a lot but he drops it from time to time, he's a very clean guy until it comes to guts. A Mamma's boy......art obsessed, he's a bit of an asshole, has a distaste for other men (most of the time at least), he will NOT!!!! eat anything low-quality (despite being willing to eat human meat)

He doesn't tend to get very attached and does not see the necessity of forming bonds with other people unless he is benefited from it. But for the strange occasion that he *does* like someone he will get Disgustingly obsessed and he gets very. Overwhelmed. Do I make sense
