kavetham skating au thoughts (aka an unhinged ramble with very poor grammar)

i have always been a massive lover of ice skating aus, and recently i found a couple kavetham ones !! but what i found reeeealllly irritated me .

kaveh was always the figure skater, and alhaitham was always the hockey player

SO, hi i play hockey and first of all alhaitham would NEVER survive a hockey locker room, they reek so bad and are loud as FUCK . i have a teammate that wears headphones in the lockeroom and STILL they arent enough . NEXT point on alhaitham not working with hockey, its a very do first think later sport (i know thats most sports but yeaaah) . alhaitham is more of a think first THEN do something kinda guy, i feel like he wouldnt mesh well ?? finally, alhaitham is very do it yourself . he relies mostly on himself, and rarely works with others unless he has to . you cant win a hockey game all by yourself !! ANYWSYS,, im not a figure skater, but i feel like figure skating would fit alhaitham way better . its naturally a more quiet and calm sport (no pucks, sticks, heavy gear), and its waay more think then do . you practice youre routine over and over then you perform . something something DO YOU SEE MY VISION

NOW . kavehs turn ! kaveh could be a figure skater, but i wholeheartedly believe hockey suits him better (notprojecting notprojecting) . hockey is violent snf fast, just like kavehs emotions . its also a team sport (figure skating is not really, you interact with others but not really enough for it to be a real team ?? figure skaters correct me if im worng) kaveh is a social butterfly and he would do way better in a sport where he would have friends rather than be all alone !!

i dont have as much for kaveh being a hockey player as compared to alhaitham being a figure skater but please hear me out on my final vision:

I need one of those MIB memory eraser things so I can ramble to people about my fic ideas without actually spoiling anything. So badly I want to tell people things, but I also desperately want to surprise them.

Sure I could just sit down and write the actual fic, but that’s so much less fun then shouting my plans from the rooftops & proceeding to wipe peoples minds of the whole event.

Something that I have noticed is I know almost nobody my age that goes to a food pantry. I know people who regularly run out of money for food and in general have to eat an unsuitable diet because that’s what they can afford and they still don’t go to a food bank, im not sure if it’s because they’re embarrassed or maybe if you didn’t grow up going you don’t know much about it but if you’re financially struggling I really recommend it. And look into other options for food assistance too like community fridges and gardens and other programs that can assist you, where I live Salvation Army pays for an allotted amount of grocery delivery for low income people every month, in the summer farmers take excess produce to the library to be taken by anyone who needs it, etc. There are a LOT of resources for free food that you can look into especially if you are literally not eating because of your financial situation

there's a lot of people that have done things in the past that were bad, because they weren't taught any better, or they were in an overall toxic situation where EVERYONE was shitty (like a cult), or they were just at an especially low point and hurt others for it.

you don't have to forgive them. you don't have to ever speak to them again. you can be angry with them until you die if you want.

but society cannot function if we don't allow them to move on. to change their behavior and fuck off somewhere else and build meaningful relationships without bothering you again. we need a path for people to change, or nothing ever will.
