FIC: It's Called Bonding (MLB; Lukanette, Bringo, BriMari Bonding)
Characters/Pairings: Brielle Girard (OC), Dingo King (OC), Luka Couffaine, Marinette Dupain-Cheng; Brielle Girard & Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Luka Couffaine/Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Dingo King/Brielle Girard
Rating: Teen and Up
Summary: That time Bri kidnapped Marinette for some Girl Bonding and took her to a Wreck Room because she looked stressed. Or: “You better not break up again, Couffaine, because she’s totally getting me in the divorce.” Or: Art Kids Stick Together.
Author’s Notes/Warnings: Andrea Nelson on Insta has some great, easy, fun art ideas, but you know what I don’t think she does have? An overactive brain that doesn’t shut up when you tell it to and overthinks the simplest tasks to the point of paralyzation. I think it might be called “executive dysfunction”.
“It’s Called Bonding”
“Luka.”
He glanced up from his phone at Brielle’s sharp voice, his finger pausing on where he’d begun tapping out a message to Marinette. Her eyes were narrowed, an icy glint to them that reminded him of his ma on “Cleaning Day”.
“Stop. Moving,” she said through gritted teeth, her lips pursing as she looked back at her easel. She clearly wasn’t happy with what she saw, though he wasn’t sure if that was more because of him or her own artistic frustrations. She’d been a bit blocked lately, and she was struggling with her current assignment. He’d offered to help, because he was a good friend and usually a better model than, say, Dingo, but progress was slow-going at best. His phone pinged again, and he glanced back to see another message from Marinette. His lips quirked with a smile, and his finger crept back towards the screen. “Couffaine!”
…ok, on this particular day he actually wasn’t a better model than Dingo, but it wasn’t entirely his fault. Marinette had been overly stressed lately with her own block and projects – not to mention more than a few sleepless nights thanks to Shadowmoth – and they’d been texting most of the morning. Brielle was usually pretty good with her life model drawings, anyway – she didn’t need him to stay perfectly still, and it was just his finger. He could text and pose at the same time.
Another glance at his friend told him she didn’t agree.

I wanted to mess with colors so bad again so I uh made this little thing in about 30 minutes and I feel much better now. It isn’t very impressive but I just wanted to vomit pastels until I felt happy and I am happy again so now I will work !!

Haven't posted here in awhile
I haven't posted here in awhile. Had four different people DMing me asking if I would submit to them in an NSFW way, and that is NOT what I cam here for. I came here to innocently promote the content I create on Twitch and Youtube, I'm never putting the Dummy Thicc tag on an image of a fictional character's ass as a joke ever again.

'Saying things in a funny way' is an op skillset for real though.
Latest example 'when you're late coming home and I don't know why I get worried about you and think perhaps there has been a car accident and this is why I send check-in texts' = distressing concept, explains the texting as something other than controlling behavior but still sounds neurotic and may increase any aversion felt toward it
'When I don't know why you aren't home yet I start to think maybe you got eaten by a car' = funny, sympathetic, likely to make such texts less burdensome to receive.
Why is communication like this.
