An open letter to the non-Palestinian gentiles yelling “From the River to the Sea”:
As someone who cares too deeply about the Palestinian cause to see it be derailed by association with antisemitic rhetoric & whose life is deeply impacted by the rhetoric Western (primarily non-Palestinian) leftists like you are embracing to listen to me.
There is a reason this phrase is associated with Hamas in Gaza rather than the government of the West Bank, and why both Palestinians & Jews who have been most actively involved in genuine inter-community peace activism & building solidarity with each other since long before October 7th do not use the phrase “From the River to the Sea”; this phrase is and has been from the moment it was coined in the 60s specifically & explicitly associated with the goal of destroying Israel & removing Jews from the land. Even the group that coined it (the PNC, part of the PLO) long ago retracted & disavowed the calls they made when they used this phrase. Anyone who has family in Israel or Gaza or the West Bank can tell you just how deeply the phrase “From the River to the Sea” is associated with groups like Hamas & PIJ, every bit as much as “Make America Great Again” is tied & associated with Reagan, Trump, and the American far-right or the swastika has become associated with Nazism (which, by the way, there is a direct line between Hamas cribbing so much of its rhetoric from propaganda the Nazis pumped into Palestine under Haj Amin al-Husseini & Nazis feeling comfortable with flashing swastikas at rallies with slogans so thoroughly associated with Hamas).
Like said rhetoric & iconography, it does not matter if you who are just entering this conversation intend it another way; your ignorance of this context—a half century of association with calls to ethnically cleanse & genocide Jews—is not an excuse. Just as much as if you throw water on a grease fire, the fact that you were trying to put it out will not matter; all you will do in that case is make the entire crisis that much worse. So please listen to the people telling you not to throw water on the grease fire.
If you as a third party to a deadly crisis that does not directly impact you actually care about helping, it is your responsibility above all when you insert yourself into that situation not to make things worse for the people who are actually impacted by it.
And by using a phrase which inflicts such visceral terror in so many Jews who hear it, which signals to the worst possible groups that you support their goal to eradicate Jews & emboldens them (whether that is what you had in mind & heart or not), and which gives the people who most want to crush the entire Palestinian liberation movement exactly the casus belli they need to do so on a silver platter—will only make matters worse for both Jews and Palestinians.
Stop using “From the River to the Sea”. I am begging y’all.

The first Palestinian athlete to participate in the Olympic games died on Wednesday at the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza as a result of kidney failure due to power outages and medical shortages as a result of the ongoing Israeli war and siege of the enclave.
Majed Abu Maraheel, who passed away at the age of 61, became the first athlete to be the flag bearer and represent Palestinians at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. Being a distance runner, he competed in the 10km race.
Since his breakthrough on the world stage, more than 20 Palestinian men and women have been able to compete at Olympic competitions.
"He was a Palestinian icon, and he will remain as such," his brother told Paltoday TV after the funeral.
"We tried to evacuate him to Egypt but then the Rafah crossing was closed (by Israel), and his condition kept deteriorating."
In his preparation for the Olympics, Abu Maraheel would often be seen on his daily runs from his home in Gaza to the Erez Crossing with Israel, which Israel closed in October after imposing a full blockade on the Strip.
Last month, it was reopened for the first time since then.
He would often have to pass through that crossing for his job as a day labourer in Israel. After participating in the Olympics, Abu Maraheel went on to become a coach for other Palestinian runners hoping to replicate his presence at the international competition.
Abu Maraheel's death highlights the grim fate of many Palestinians who are facing kidney failure in Gaza.
A report from the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor in March found that there were between 1,000 to 1,500 patients in Gaza with kidney failure, and that they are facing a "slow death" because of "a lack of medical and therapeutic services, medications and other necessities".
Israel denies blocking humanitarian aid into Gaza, though aid agencies say they are not able to get aid in because of Israeli restrictions.

Boycott Israeli Dates this Ramadan, from Call 2 Action Now, 28/Feb/2024: (caption under images)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This Ramadan, don’t break your fast with an Israeli date. Stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Israel’s genocidal assault on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has now killed tens of thousands. Palestinians, facing down Israel’s catastrophic violence, call on us to boycott Israeli products in solidarity with their struggle for freedom.
Follow this quick guide to boycotting Israeli dates:
• Always check the label when buying dates. Don’t buy dates that are produced or packaged in Israel or its West Bank settlements. If no country of origin can be found on the box, check the retailer’s website.
• One of Israel’s largest exporters is called Hadiklaim. It sells dates in supermarkets under these names: King Solomon, Jordan River and Jordan River Bio-Top, as well as under the labels of supermarket chains. Check the box carefully, if the dates were “exported by Hadiklaim” – don’t buy them.
• Avoid these companies: Mehadrin, MTex, Edom, Carmel Agrexco, and Arava
#checkthelabel is not enough. Israel has been caught labelling their dates as ‘produce of Palestine’. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, M&S, Morrison, Aldi, Lidl and Asda package Israeli dates under their own labels!
Buy dates from Zaytoun, Alard, Yaffa, and Holy Land Date all support Palestinian Farmers. If you cannot get hold of these brands then buy dates from Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, UAE and Algeria.

I really find it interesting how Zionists have no issues constantly using words like "Islamic" or "Islamist" or "jihadist" to describe the people they're killing without any fear of being accused of Islamophobia or that they're being bigots.
Because they know that we live in a world where anything or anyone remotely "Muslim" are automatically portrayed as inherently evil and deserving of death, especially in the US and other Western countries where Israel gets most of its support from them. So therefore, no one can be mad at them for killing all of these people, right? After all, they're only killing scary radical "Islamists" and "jihadists," NOT innocent people.
Meanwhile you would never hear any pro-Palestine people calling IDF soldiers "Jewists" or "Jewish extremists," even when they're literally branding the star of David onto Palestinians' faces and houses, instead we have to be very careful to not associate Judaism with Israel's crimes and are obligated to write a long essay about how we in fact do NOT want to kill every Jew in the world before we're allowed to show a shred of sympathy toward the thousands of Palestinian civilians being murdered as we are speaking.
Yet somehow that's not enough and they still hit us with the "when you say Zionists you actually mean Jews!" all while ignoring how they themselves aren't putting any effort into not demonizing Islam and Muslims with their words, because demonizing Islam and Muslims isn't an issue to them and the only way they can justify all the killing they're doing.

Hello, Hala Dawoud has contacted me concerning her GoFundMe. She is a mother of 3 living in Gaza who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and cannot access the medication necessary to prevent her conditioning worsening and leaving her with permanent disability. MS attacks the nervous system, causing fatigue, loss of balance, difficulty with cognitive functioning, tremors, etc. and the body steadily deteriorates if the condition is not properly treated. Hala She needs to get to Egypt where she will be able to access the healthcare necessary to continue caring for her 3 children (Osama age 17, Lana age 13, Mohammed age 9). Please share and donate if you can. Sharing costs nothing and takes only a moment. This is a real, vetted fundraiser (#307).
🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉
Please consider donating as she has only raised €1,135/€17,000 at the time of this post being made. There are living, breathing human beings on the other end of these GoFundMe's who are suffering and can be helped with just a few clicks and dollars by people like you. Have a heart, share and donate.

Read it again. Read it again. Read. It. Again.
Understand the gravity of this. This is genocide.
from Al Jazeera English, 13/Mar/2024:
Tumblr media
“This war is a war on children. It is a war on their childhood and their future,” the head of the #UN’s Palestinian refugee agency #UNRWA Philppe Lazzarini wrote.
"Over 12,300 children were killed in Gaza between October 2023 and February 2024, the data shows, compared to 12,193 children killed in global conflict from 2019 to 202, Lazzarini has shared this data on X."
