The past few days have been hard for your mind to wrap around.

Ever since that particular incident you had while playing Genshin, you've been extremely hesitant to log back on. Now that you knew all the people of Teyvat were self-aware, you were scared to imagine what they thought of you.

"Have they been self-aware the entire time that I've been playing? Have they always been able to hear my voice whenever I spoke aloud? Do the Traveler and their friends hate me for forcibly controlling their movements and actions like puppets? If that's the case, wouldn't it be better for me to leave them alone without letting them know?"

It doesn't seem like there's any part of your day where you're not thinking about how to follow up with the world of Genshin Impact. In fact, it's gotten so bad for you that some of your friends have noticed your change in mood and asked if anything was wrong.

Knowing that this situation is not only unheard of but also impossible to comprehend for anyone, you simply told them that you were dealing with personal issues, which honestly isn't that far from the truth.

Eventually, you began to worry if some of the people in Teyvat would figure out a way to reach you beyond the computer should you not reach back to them soon. In the past, you would've laughed at such a thought. But now that you've witnessed the impossible, you didn't want to wait around and find out.

"If I'm going to continue playing Genshin, I should at least try and accommodate their needs and wants better."

As much as you didn't want to delay your return to Genshin any further, you felt that researching all of your current playable character's needs, wants, likes, and dislikes took top priority over anything else in your life right now.

...Well...besides your needs and wants.

First, you took note of their favorite and least favorite foods. You would feel pretty bad if you kept feeding them food that wasn't their preference. Especially since characters like Lisa and Ganyu were vegetarians.

Second, you took note of everyone's talents. While you know that some characters had passive talents which gave you extra dishes when cooking or extra materials when crafting, you felt that those jobs should be left to the professionals, such as Xiangling and Albedo respectively.

"Let's see. First off, I should probably remove the people in my party with full-time jobs, as they take priority over exploring with the Traveler. So I should probably replace any Knights of Favonius, Liyue Qixing, Tri-Commission Member, etc. However, that doesn't exactly leave me with a lot of options to choose from. Although Xiangling works for Wanmin Restaurant, she's currently exploring Teyvat for ingredients. I assume accompanying the traveler would be fine with her. Bennett works for the Adventure's Guild so that works as well. But that also leaves me with a Pyro-heavy party, which may pose a problem for enemies such as Pyro slimes..."

However, the more you spent time researching, the more pessimistic and depressed you began to feel. Here you were spending all this effort trying to accommodate to all the characters you've obtained without even knowing if they gave a single thought or care in the world towards you.

"...I never really asked if they wanted to join the Traveler's adventures. ...So...maybe I should just only use the Traveler...?"

You sighed deeply. This was not gonna be good for your mental health.

The Traveler didn't know what to think.

On one hand, they were happy that [Y/N] was getting some much deserved rest. On top of that, they were also happy that they got to have a break from doing commissions all the time. But on the otherhand...

They were really starting to miss you.

This is the longest that they have gone without feeling your presence and they were starting to worry if they had accidentally scared you off due to that incident.

The incident that revealed Teyvat's self-awareness.

"...You're thinking about [Y/N] again, aren't you?" Paimon asked.

The Traveler chuckled sadly. "Is it really that obvious?"

"Kind of? Paimon thinks that's what everyone is thinking about."

They believe her. Zhongli, Venti, and a few others had reached out to them over the past couple of days for any news about [Y/N]. They were saddened by their expressions when they told them they had no news to give.

..."Y/N..." The Traveler sighed.

"Hmm?" Paimon hummed in thought, "What was that?"

"...To think that was their name all along. And to even think that they may be just as human as most people in Teyvat! It’s honestly kind of relieving when you think about it.

Although they weren't going to lie. At first, they saw [Y/N] as an unknown entity that possessed them to do its bidding. It was scary at first, knowing that neither them nor Paimon were able to figure out a way to interact with or avoid it. However, after solving both Mondstadt's and Liyue's respectable crises and powering them up with newfound strength, they started to see you as a sort of companion similar to Paimon.

"Yeah, even Paimon is starting to miss traveling and exploring with them."

"Is that so?" The Traveler taunted, "I thought that at one point you were trying to prove yourself as the better guide?"

"Hey! Paimon told you already that she has proved herself as the superior guide time and time again." She exclaimed as she crossed her arms.

They laughed. It felt nice to tease Paimon like this to distract them from the lack of [Y/N]'s presence, but they were starting to feel like they couldn't keep this up forever.

"Regardless, Paimon hopes that [Y/N] comes back soon. Everybody will feel a lot better once they do."

The Traveler looked up to the night sky and watched the stars flicker with light. Paimon followed their gaze and gave a sorrowful frown.

"I hope so too."

Author Side Notes: I had an idea.

But in all seriousness, I'm flattered by all the positive comments, reblogs, and likes from the previous post. I only expected to get around 20 notes since it was my first post but somehow I've ended up at 800+ and counting? It's almost too much for me to handle lol.

As for the rest of this story, I've decided that it will likely take around five parts for me to reach its conclusion. We've got two down so far, so that makes three more to go. Of course, that's only if y'all want to read more.

So what about neteyam x human fem reader where she shows him her outfits and makes a fashion show for him (yk just for fun). Neteyam is just amazed with her style and find it a bit strange but he still finds her adorable with her posing and twirling and stuff.

It was a long day for neteyam, between training, scolding his brother, and going on raids with his father. He was wiped out. despite how busy he can be, he will always have time for his sweet mate.

He darling human mate who lives with the others in the base, he would always make time for her. She was a breathe of fresh air. Always making his days conclude with kisses, hugs and loving words. He enjoys everything about her and would refuse to hear anything negative when it comes to his mate.

Well, technically, they aren't mated yet, however, they are in the processing of courting. Have been together for 2 years and neteyam thinks its time to take it seriously.

He arrives in the base, doing the needed procedure and wears his breathing mask. He hates it really, but cant complain. Because of it, he understands more the needed safety when his beloved walks outside and wears her mask.

It was night, so every other human was in their rooms asleep or doing something else. So quietly neteyam goes to his beloved's room. Being one of the few girls in the base has its perks, she has one of the bigger rooms. Especially when na'vi come in to visit.

He opens the sliding door and to see his dear one wearing something. "Yawne?" he calls out to her, she jumps a bit, startled. "neteyam! you scared me!" she giggles. Neteyam smiles warmly as he goes to her and hugs her tightly. "I'm sorry, what are you wearing?" he takes a good look at her. She was wearing a bright long cloth that covered her body excluding her arms and neck. His beloved smiles and makes a little twirl. "do you like it? it is a summer dress", neteyam tilts his head in confusion and curiosity. "a summer.....dress??" he repeats, his beloved smile and explains to him that for humans, to adapt to different climates they wear different clothing to fit that climate. Neteyam was very intrigued by it, "can you show me more? I want to see you in all of your people's clothing" he tells her. His beloved was a bit surprised. She know of the na'vi clothing and choice of style they wear, which is drastically different from how humans see clothing.

"r-really....?" she blushes, getting excited to show him all of the clothing she has. Neteyam smiles as his tail wags in happiness, "yes, I want to see my yawne in everything". So, she does that.

She performs a little fashion show for him, her number one audience. Wearing different dresses, varying in colors, patterns, and the flow of the dress. But, dresses wasn't the only thing she present for him, wearing shorts and tank tops, button up shirts, but neteyam's favorite were the bikini styles. He enjoy seeing her body in the natural way. Flawless was her skin, soft to touch and smooth to feel. Far different from how his skin feels, tough and firm.

Seeing his mate wearing various clothes made him appreciate her more. She was just too beautiful! and he come to enjoy some of the clothing she displayed for him. Anything that has blue or yellow. Like the yellow summer dress with green leaves decorated on them. Or the blue dress with star patters on them. She looked better in blue he personally thinks.

Of course neteyam would praise her in every outfit she wears. "That is all of them" his beloved says, neteyam gets up and pulls her in his embrace. "You look beautiful in every one your clothing, it is interesting how vastly different you humans perceive clothing". He kisses her on top of her head, then cheeks, then on her soft petal lips.

"stay with me?" she asks him, he smirks and nods, still wearing the blue white dotted dress that neteyam has come to favor, they lay on her bed to sleep, ending the day.

Hello to my favorite bitches, long time no see! Ready for a classic mejigay gossip sesh?

If you were anything like me, you started a Tumblr blog about visual kei very young (I've posted about vk on this blog since I was 16) and now you're an adult. MEJIBRAY broke up around 6 years ago now I think right? I am now 24, have a masters degree and planning on moving to Japan in spring. Crazy how time flies right.

Let's refresh our minds a little bit okay? Now I'm assuming you remember everything from those 6-ish years ago. The MEJIBRAY label/contract issue with Tsuzuku and Koichi, Tsuzuku's borderline disorder, the refusal to do encores during the last tour, the charcoal face paint and the result of it all which was 8p-sb. If you want a recap on that specific semi-disbandment drama there's plenty of posts that I made about it while it was happening so feel free to check it out! (keep in mind I was like 18 and very dramatic writing those posts lol) There's also this great summary from a redditor in the comment section here

The same redditor even filled me in on stuff I felt out of the loop about in their reply to the OP. I know 8p-sb is gone and Koichi does Trembling Bambi solo stuff while Genki (Tsuzuku) is a vocal coach, is in the band 30 seconds certain victory, and revives VanessA occasionally. But this has also happened:

Yeah what the fuck Koichi? Now, I do remember starting that yakuza theory here on Tumblr back in the MEJIBRAY semi-disbanding days. I read it on tanuki and told y'all about it and got soooo much shit for it at the time lol. Looks like Koichi kind of confirmed the theory! (take that rude anons in my asks back then lmao). However, Koichi staying in the same industry he claims is rotten and run by the yakuza is definitely weird. Why talk all high and mighty while benefitting from it one may ask. Either way, for those wondering what Koichi is up to, there's your answer and an explanation to why he got backlash. About the VanessA stuff, one can conclude that our favorite duo, Genki and Koichi, doesn't seem to be that involved with each other anymore.

I would also like to take time to talk about Genki's well being, as some of you might know he has a youtube channel in Japanese. From my so-so Japanese skills I can still keep up with a lot of what he's saying. Good news, he's doing better now than the MEJIBRAY days from the looks of it. In this video he talked about how the photo from the MEJIBRAY days was him being unwell and the picture to the right is him feeling much better!

(TW for this paragraph: self harm) In another video he talked about various topics/gave advice such as about self harm/cutting and how it annoys him when people say he shouldn't hurt the body his parents gave to him. He thinks that's an incorrect way to tell someone to stop cutting and seems in general to be very open to talk about this topic while smiling and not getting angered. So he seemed very stable, mature and content to me.

What about Meto/Yutaro? Well, he seems to be a happy chef! As for MiA... I've seen him hang out with hosts like Roland and in general seems to live that bougie life. Roland is a top host who aims for the prince vibe just like MiA, and is open about his plastic surgeries just like MiA. Now let's get into a really recent topic about Mia!

Just like me, you might still follow our MEJIBRAY boys on various social medias. And just like me, you might have seen MiA's picture where he chews a bone. "Huh, weird" you might have thought as you scrolled past it. Well here I am, resurrecting this blog once again, just to tell you that the bone is MiA's fucking ribcage bone. I ain't posting that picture, find it yourself cause it's gross.

As MiA poses in the same costumes from his MEJIBRAY days and posts them on Instagram, you'd think his life and social media posts were a bit mundane. Then, a fucking picture of him chewing a thick ass bone pops up. The bone in question was taken out during a ribcage surgery, that MiA claims was done in order for him to create a custom guitar with his BONE INFUSED into it. Yeah I know. What???

In general you could either see it as him being a massive attention hungry person, or as unhinged and putting his life in danger. Bone surgeries are very harmful and anyone with two working eyes can see his shaved jawline bone already. So adding a removed ribcage bone to that... It's dangerous.

That's it for the gossip sesh! I'm thinking of making this "Keeping up with MEJIBRAY: The series" a thing whenever I think there needs to be a big gossip update like this.

Others have already been furrying the Raincode characters and doing a phenomenal job, but when I would peruse Danganrompa fanart I really liked seeing different and wildly varying interpretations for the characters' animal choices and now it is my turn, my GOD GIVEN DUTY TO PROVIDE IN THE GENISIS OF THE RAINCODE FANDOM, FOR THE HONOR OF THOSE WHO HAVE COME BEFORE ME.

For all of them I used their pose from the artbook renders. I'll say it's to keep them recognizable but that is actually a lie I'm just lazy.

Secretary Bird Halara:

Halara I did first and they were the one I was most jazzed to do because I love them dearly. I made them a secretary bird and I think it's a PERFECT fit. Ahem allow me to rattle off. Secretary birds are birds, so doomed by the narrative to have to stay away from cats, they are predatory birds and of course Halara would be at the top of the food chain. Speaking of predetory birds, secretary birds are known for their ability TO KICK VENOUMOUS SNAKES TO DEATH, AND THATS JUST TOO GOOD A FIT. They also have plumage that I could easily shape into Halara's kinda smooth swoopy hairstyle, and face markings that could be sort of representative of their glasses! I think the drawing for them is probably the weakest out of the group just because as I went along I improved and started to translate the human designs in less one to one ways, plus the pose Halara has in the artbook doesn't fit perfectly to the really big wing hand things. I still enjoyed making it because H A L A R A N I G H T M A R E but I'm honestly kinda sad at how lackluster it is compared to Fubuki and Viva who got the most interesting details and texture work. NEVER DO YOUR FAVORITE FIRST IT'S A TRAP.

Guinea Pig Desuhiko:

With Desuhiko I was going back and fourth between a few rodents, I just think he kinda looks like one and already had those pikachu cheeks. My first scetch made him a hamster, and while it DID look like him, it felt a little too... Indistinct. Desuhiko's probably my favorite design in the cast just because he looks so distinctive and has a short stocky bodytype I really really love and makes my character designer brain happy, so I swapped hamster for guinea pig. While the guinea pig face doesn't look like him quite as much as the hamster, they are very interesting and distinctive looking which I loved a lot more even with a bit of accuracy sacrificed if that makes sense. Also there are Guinea pigs with spikey wild fur that make it so I could just kinda give him his actual hair and still have it make sense. Guinea pigs are also the perfect size and shape to be thrown like a large softball and out of all the Master Detectives Desuhiko looks like he'd be the most sadisfying to chuck across a room.

Fish Fubuki:

Fubuki was really hard just because it's difficult to anthropomorphize a fish in the same way as a mammal or a avian cause of their structure. She might look a biitttt more like a fantasy creature inspired by a fish than just a fish but she's charming enough I don't completely mind. I got some SOLID advice and looked at some Splatoon NPCs characteristics to try and make her more appealing. So why fish? I got it as a suggestion that I ended up really liking because fish are notorious for their bad memory, live in tanks their whole lives(Fubuki is the definition of sheltered), and they have fins to mimic the shape of Fubukis cloak and hair. I used beta fish for reference, they don't really fit her but just being a fish was good enough for me and at that point I was prioritizing looks. She doesn't even really look like any specific species like the other three to be honest. She's defiantly the outlier of the group but that's fine, she can be special in her own unique way like always. Got a little lazy with making the hair look all that fin-like, but it's kinda the main event of her human design so I wanted to keep it as true to that as possible but looking at it now I think its tooooo copy and paste looking. Her furry design IS my brothers favorite out of the batch so that's gotta count for something!

Flying Fox Bat Vivia:

The vampire looking man was always gonna be a bat, I am but a slave to the whims of fate. I made him specifically a flying fox because they're the largest bat species and therefore can loom ominously. Vampire bat would have been fun too, but they have more of a squished bastard energy that doesn't really fit Vivia. Bats also are known for their weird sleeping habits, ala upside. Viva isn't sleeping upside down or anything like that but he DOES snooze in some weird places so I think comparing him to a bat in multiple aspects is very apt! His drawing and animal design is probably my favorite, I really like the wings, and the bat feet are super weird I loved doing those. I did have trouble incorperating his hair, flying foxes have pretty smooth heads, but they do have sort of a mane thing going on so I tried to put some of his hair texture and shape there instead. Sorry I did not give him is edgy edgy hair cut, I too love it very much but it was simply not to be. I did try to mimic it's vibe with the patterning on his head though, an illusion of his bangs.

I'm very happy with this lineup overall, they're some neat little designs if I do say so myself! I might do more but I have the chronic problem of not being able to sit still for a long time to do a BUNTCH of guys again(though for the record I would make Seth the most delightfully storm drain gutter looking creature). I also kinda wanna do Makoto and Yuma cause someone suggested a REALLY good idea for them, but the concept for Makoto with this idea would be more of an involved design that I wouldn't be able to use all of his normal outfit for so it'd probably take longer than average.

TLDR: Furries amiright?

Crazy Rainbow (this is the song I want all of you to think about when you think about me because it's MY song. I LOVE IT. It's me. It talks about me, actually. I am crazy and I'm a rainbow and a star. Twinkle twinkle rainbow star!!! I heard it once and it became my favorite ever. It's my alarm. I wake up with this banger every day. My friends hate me for this take but honestly, they're the ones who don't appreciate a good set of trumpets and guitars with tropical imagery as background).

Hope (The chorus is WILD. The visuals are so comforting it makes me cry every time. This is the energy I want all of my fanfics to have. It's the representation of my writing turned into music, I think. These are the vibes I want. The lyrics??? Are fucking insane??? Also, Sanji-themed, and it hits close to home).

The peak (Really cute! Fun! Such a relief opening to end Wano <3 It's just beautiful visually and stunning. But also it has such peaceful and joyful vibes!! My beloved).

Kokoro No Chizu (This one is awesome. I love everything about it. My fav thing about it is my reaction to watching OP with full screen for the first time. Really fun experience of 'what the fuck is this and also THIS SONG IS A BANGER??')

Bon Voyage (Also my alarm because no other thing besides BON VOYAAAGE being yelled against my ear wakes me up in a better mood. Also, really fun opening. The chorus are basically the best part, ofc, for obvious reasons).

Believe (Once again saying this one hits different in the Catalan Dub. The lyrics are beautiful but also it gives sooo many 2000s opening vibes. I enjoy this song every time)

But also, really great song and it makes my brain go brrrrr).

That first question? IS A GREAT QUESTION. I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER READY LMAO

Thinking about it, Leon's very much a spontaneous, "in the moment" kind of guy when it comes to his interactions with people. When Krauser taught him to "go with your gut; don't think" it was probably easy for him to master that lesson, because he was already kind of in that mentality. I would probably say that Leon waits for an opening to present itself and doesn't bother at all if one doesn't.

Like -- Leon's not the kind of guy to invite someone back to his place and then bust out the wine and dim the lights and try to seduce them while they're sitting too close to each other on the couch. He's just not. If he takes someone back to his place, he's already successfully made the move to kiss them -- and before he's even pulled a full inch out of that kiss, the question, "Do you want to go somewhere more private?" comes out in a low, quiet voice -- and there's absolutely no question as to what he's offering or what his intentions are.

And if the answer is no, he just takes a full step back and says, "Next time, then" already knowing that there won't be a next time.

Maybe there doesn't even have to be a kiss first -- maybe the sexual tension is just so incredibly thick that there's absolutely no mistaking it, so the question he poses doesn't at all seem out of place.

But, either way -- once he successfully brings someone back home, he closes the front door, toes off his shoes, and probably pulls out some line like "Do you want a drink... or would you rather just go right upstairs?"

And if you cringed at that, well -- I said he was spontaneous. I didn't say he was smooth. He's not. As much as fandom would like to think of him as a suave James Bond type, he's anything but. James Bond has charisma and sex appeal. Leon Kennedy has depression and nerve damage. It's different. It just hits different. (For some reason, my favorite line from the Uncharted novel springs to mind here: "Suave is overrated and very last century. I'm rugged and adorably awkward.")

For your second question --

Leon's favorite position probably changes here and there depending on his mood -- but he's still a Good Boy protector archetype with an inherently romantic nature and a very likely conservative upbringing, and he does tend to prefer missionary. He likes to press his forehead against his partner's during sex -- or even bury the bridge of his nose in the crook of his partner's neck and hold his partner's hand down against the mattress, weaving his fingers with theirs.

But like, make no mistake. Leon is no Clive Rosfield. Clive defaults to making love, but Leon fucks. And, very regularly, Leon fucks hard. He will not hesitate to bend someone over and take them from behind if the moment calls for it (and it frequently does) -- and, if some girl wants to climb on top and ride him into the sunset, he's more than happy to help her anchor herself for balance or guide her hips if needed. He just prefers to finish in missionary, if he can.

And, while we're on the subject of finishing, question number three --

I don't believe this man has ever said the words "I'm coming" or "I'm gonna come" in his life. I just don't believe that. For as much of a cringefest as he can be, this goes back to my whole "Leon probably shies away from talking too dirty/avoids talking like a porn star" thing.

If someone's going down on him, he'll announce, "I'm getting close" as a friendly warning -- just in case whoever he's with doesn't want him to finish just yet, or if they're not particularly keen on taking a shot in the mouth -- but nothing more explicit than that. Maybe he'll pepper in a "You're so fucking good at this" with it, but. That's it.

I think it's probably very easy to know when Leon's getting close to orgasm, because the timbre of his voice changes (usually his voice goes higher, but if it's the kind of sex that's rough and hot and he's completely in control, his voice gets deeper, and this boy growls) and his breathing kicks up and he starts to get very liberal with dropping f-bombs.

But if the mood hits just right, and he's going nice and slow, and his partner's arms and legs are wrapped around him, you might catch him whispering against his partner's parted lips, between fevered breaths, the words: "Here I come -- here I come."

Paso Doble - Worth it - Strictly NRC Dancing

Author Notes: This one was actually quite difficult to write and, to be honest, I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it. To be fair, the paso doble is not on of my favorite dances to watch though it is interesting that it does have the odd storytelling dynamic to it. The ending pose was largely inspired by Cristina and Pasha’s paso doble to "Ira Deodrum" on So You Think You Can Dance season 7. Just like the rest of AU, reader is a female for this fic. “So, here’s the deal. We’re not going to tell your partner about the surprise ending to your paso doble.” I stared at Floyd’s back as he led me, ominously enough, into the gymnasium and continued to explain his grand scheme, “His surprised reaction will make your performance all the better, and it’ll be worth a load of points.”

I frowned slightly as he pushed his way through the large doors, casually holding one open for me to pass through, “But I don’t need ‘loads of points.’ I’ve already passed my one required dance class, so my performance will have no bearing on my grade. The only reason I have to do it is because Crowley is a butt.”

Floyd cast a sly grin over his shoulder at me, “Go big or go home, Shrimpy. Besides, don’t you wanna make him look like the loser he is?” 

I snorted, but instead of responding, I was now eyeing the mats we were approaching and frowning in confusion. 

Seeing the mats in the gym wasn’t surprising; what caught me off guard was the fact that Vil, of all people, was standing there next to them. Floyd had said he was going to get us some assistance, but… Well, I hadn’t expected Vil, of all people, to be who Floyd had in mind.

I leaned towards Floyd slightly, my eyes never leaving the actor/model/vocalist as I spoke in a quiet voice, “Why is Vil here?”

Vil smiled slightly, evidently enough having heard me despite my hushed tone, “To help with acting instruction tater tot. You don’t want to just execute the movements, you want to execute the performance.” 

His amethyst eyes glimmered slightly as he spoke, clearly showing his pleasure with the task at hand. But I was fairly certain that no one at this school liked our headmage. So making him look bad was likely something everyone would enjoy.

Vil stepped forward, nodding at Floyd before directing his attention back to me, “I’m sure Professor Crewel explained this while he was teaching you, but a paso doble is a story. The lead plays the role of a matador and typically emerges victorious at the end of the dance. The follower can be in the role of the bull, cape, or even a flamenco dancer. Floyd choreographed the dance so that-”

“You’re the bull, Shrimpy, but you aren’t going to lose. Your partner is.” Vil shot Floyd a distinctly annoyed look that went ignored by the 2nd year. 

Floyd himself simply glanced nonchalantly over at Vil, causing me to shift uncomfortably. I couldn’t help but be slightly worried that my choreographer was going to ditch before he finished explaining the ending of the dance he had yet to show me.

But my fears turned out to be untrue as Floyd soon continued, now eyeing Vil as he spoke, “They’ve already gone through the other parts, all that’s left is the surprise ending.” Vil sighed, but gestured for me to come over as Floyd began to explain.

“After he shoves you off his knee and you hit the floor limply, he’ll lean over you right?” I nodded, eyeing Floyd as I joined Vil on the mat.

Floyd flapped his hand, a vague signal to go ahead and lay down in the position I would be in at the end of the dance. “Before the song completely ends, you’re going to flip him over and end the performance sitting on top of him. The Matador is dead, and the bull wins.”

I blinked at him before looking up in confusion at Vil,  who knelt with a sigh, “Let me show you…..”

Practice with Vil had been... Interesting. But it had also paid off. Not only was I now prepared for this dance’s surprise ending, but I’d also learned how to flip a fully grown man off of myself should I be pinned to the ground.

The entire room was silent as I slung myself through the dance with all the pent-up aggression I felt towards Crowley, but I couldn’t deny I was looking forward to the climatic ending Floyd had dreamt up. Crowley’s reaction would no doubt be gold.

As instructed, I arched my back over his knee and let him shove me off, rolling pitifully to the ground and away from him before stopping limply. Crowley marched over, seemingly triumphant, with a smirk on his face before hitting the floor and all but planking over me.

This, in and of itself, would have been an odd ending. I realized that now. Why would the matador lean over the supposedly dead bull in such a strange position? 

But Crowley didn’t stay there long. Instead, I did as Vil and I rehearsed. My eyes popped open, and I snapped my leg up and over his hip, startling the principal enough that he made a shocked sound. 

I rolled, flipping him over and onto his back as the song ended. Him on the ground staring wide-eyed up at me as I looked down at him, momentarily deafened by the cheers of the crowd.

Oh yes, this had definitely been worth it.

mr. and mrs. drake from @cinamun's amazing "things fall apart" series (we remember the "/indya" tag days ok!!) the love i have for miss indya williams will never die and i swear i feel like i know her like she's a real person at this point, but i have never been more spellbound by a character's growth and development than the kind of writing i see in darren drake okay. these two have been through it, have talked and not talked, have loved and fought, and have gone through hell to be together. never have i wanted two lil pixel people to be happy more than i want them to have a good life with their babies. if that's not love, i don't know what is. (plus the way they abuse that wickedwhims i mean cmon)

jet lem-43 and kana lothario from @gothoffspring's lem-43 legacy! their courtship was so Soft, it literally makes my teeth rot and my heart ache. every touch is so gentle and full of love, they make poses seem as though they were made for these two. i am absolutely gnawing at the walls to see their babies because i know those lil bundles of pixel chub will be precious

@hauntedtrait's mortimer and bella goth are genuinely some of my favorite iterations of my favorite couple, and not just because fangs is my soulmate ok. they're able to add a prose and a warmth to the love between these two that maintains their sensuality while really building a believable foundation of the two's bond, and i'm a big sucker for a devoted morty and a beautiful and kind and mysterious bella ;u;

okay we all know that i'm livin' it up with my husband randy in his motel, and we are of course the top couple here-- pff, if you didn't think i wouldn't be in here losing my mind over the future mr and mrs. finch from @rebouks's incredible epic "somnium", then you don't know me. after my life experiences, i love to see a couple stay strong through hardship: to see them fight and struggle to communicate, and to see them overcome the things that challenge them to come together stronger and with more understanding of one another. courtney is one of the best female characters i have read on simblr in a long time, and it's only fitting that she's earned the love, trust, and protection of one of my favorite good boys <3

and you know, it's a shame i didn't know about them before recently, but @citylighten's sal and eve have a dialogue between them that is honestly so refreshing and so real that i find myself wanting to fcking hang out with them irl. seeing the ways they've grown together, seeing the ways that eve has brought out the softer side of sal and the ways in which sal has boosted eve's confidence in herself, outside of his love for her, for her sake... i just, how could you not love a couple that is so fundamentally invested in their relationship like i am just. besotted.

and personally, the sexual energy between leah morfang and viktor in @aniraklova's amazing universes transcends their outfits and all aesthetics. i just love seein' them together, i really do.

Hello everyone, Happy New Years!! I hope that 2023 is the year for everyone's wishes, dreams, and accomplishments to manifest. These past few years for myself have been quite stressful and it's not something I talk about on social media, so without knowing it you've all helped to make 2022 bearable for me.

I've been on Tumblr for so long that I should receive some kind of senior discount. Out of all the fandom's i've been apart of, the Austin/Elvis community is one of the friendliest groups i've seen. And it was one that I didn't expect to join at all.

July 9th, the day after my birthday, was when I went into the theaters with my parents to watch the Elvis movie. I had no clue who Austin Butler was. I knew who Elvis was, but I wasn't a big fan. I was keen to see what things I could learn about him, and maybe gain a different perspective and newfound appreciation. Well, upon minute one of watching the movie and exiting the theater I was a changed person.

I was quite literally obsessed with Elvis and I learned everything about him. Falling down the rabbit hole is putting it mildly lol. And then, this sweet blonde blue eyed man came along for the ride with me. To say that Austin changed my life is a massive understatement. I don't know what I would do without those two men. They're forever interwoven into my life.

@magnolianfarewell makes such beautifully detailed, aesthetic posts and CC. Everything always looks so clean and dreamy~ and I always get excited whenever she shares something new! Her Simblreen items are all permanent fixtures in my game.

@trillyke easily has the cleanest texture work I've ever seen. I'm such a dork when it comes to a good texture, and Trillyke delivers. Just, wow. Not to mention she can bring such a wide variety of styles and fashion to life! And the cherry on top? She's such a kind person and I always look forward to seeing her on my dash/timeline.

@crypticsim makes such beautiful makeup I just swoooon. I sort all of my CC into folders by creator, and his is definitely bursting at the seams haha. Everything he makes is so well made and works on literally any Sim. It's a real treat! I'm so glad to have such a stellar makeup CC creator in this community.

@ratboysims has such entertaining gameplay, amazing poses, and CC. I've never been much of a storyteller myself, so the fact that he can create engaging stories that star such relatable Sims (to the point where they feel like real people) is wonderful. He definitely keeps the storyteller side of Simblr going.

@pictureamoebae has the best vibes. Their reshade presets and resources have been so helpful to so many people. They truly go above and beyond to help others and to be an active participant in this community, no matter what may be going on. I'm always happy to see them pop up on my dash.

@oatberrytea Simblr's favorite grandma! (the little granny icon makes me smile haha) But in all seriousness, I just really enjoy their presence in this community. They're always so kind, encouraging, and supportive of others. Not to mention, their gameplay? An actual dream. All of their Sims and builds are so beautiful. I just adore them.

All of my fics have happy endings.

I have gotten a few unpleasant comments, but nothing really terrible enough that I would call it "hate".

I'm not sure that it counts as "stolen", but some of my fics were posted on Wattpad, but I asked for them to be removed.

Kurt/Happiness

I don't really consider myself to be a shipper. I call myself a "what if-er". Kurt is my favorite character, and when I write, I pair him with a variety of people in a way that he is in a healthy relationship and gets to live out some of his goals and dreams. I pose the question of "What if this had happened differently?" And I rewrite the storyline from that point.

What's A WIP that you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I don't have a good answer to this one. I have quite a few ideas and a few things started, but I really don't know which ones I'll work on next or just never work on at all.

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and details.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Since I only write fan fics, I think my overall writing weakness would be world-building since I only write within the confines of what makes sense with the show.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I usually just indicate what language the speakers are speaking and then use italics for the dialogue that's being spoken in another language.

Glee. It's the only fiction writing I've ever done.

Following up on yesterday's Wonderland magazine Gong Jun photo shoot, here's a fig inspired by Zhehan's Wonderland magazine photo shoot.

The inspiration for this fig comes from this photo:

That was the direct fig inspiration, but this look was so good it was also on one of the covers of the magazine:

Whew, nothing pure about this cover, if you ask me, but nobody asked! The fig maker might have meant it the smoking hot way. Speaking of which:

Both this fig and Gong Jun's fig from yesterday was from their Wonderland cover features from their 30th birthdays - Junjun's in November of course, and Zhehan's in May.

This is actually something of a spoiler because guess what fig is being featured next? Yep, you got it! This one indeed.

These figs came in a 5-fig set that you could buy individually or more conveniently as a group. I bought them as a set, which included the two Zhehan Wonderland figs and three Gong Jun figs. They're all great, you'll see them all!

Zhehan arrived safely here at home, which is good, since that extended arm is nice and strong in real life, but significantly less so in fragile resin form!

You might think those were little cats in those beautiful big fig eyes - but wait!

They are little dogs! Samoyeds, even...that's because he's looking at Gong Jun. This is too cute, I love it!

It almost seems a real shame to put his glasses on, but let's do it, and put him on his...bed, I guess:

Ah! so cute! I'm so happy the fig maker gave him that little sideways smile, because not only is this my favorite fig expression, I always prefer my figs smiling.

He is just adorable. I love how the fig maker draped his clothes here to mimic the photo as he's sitting down. The light blushing on that nice strong fig arm looks fantastic too!

He may look like he easily sits in the bed, but I assure you that was not the case. Just sitting him on the little divots made him slide right off. Pressing him down and back into the divots made his resting arm float up a bit, which is no good. I ended up gluing him and carefully wiggling him a bit so he was flush up against the back while also trying to get as much contact with the hand and bed as possible. This is actually my first close up look at the job I did, and I'm quite pleased.

His head has notches at the temples for the arms of the glasses to click into, which is my favorite for glasses with figs. It makes it so much easier to finagle fig glasses, I can't even tell you.

I love this casual lean. It's such a beautiful picture - I'm so glad someone made a fig of it!

You can see the detail of the ribbing on his black sweater here, which is a really great touch. It's hard to see in the original picture, but if I dramatically lighten it up, you can see the detail the fig maker included:

Yeesh, helpful for details, but feels weird to fade out such a nice picture!

This is a great angle to see his slides. I know he was styled for this, but the slides do seem very Zhehan.

He is SO CUTE. I love the tiniest hint of his smile from this angle! Also, his hair is magnificent here. The fig maker did a stellar job on this fig.

He's just perfect.

The top-down angle really shows off all that styled hair! This is also a nice one I think to see the lines of his pose.

I always worry I'm going to drop a fig on my counter and break one of the delicate spiky bits of hair. It's happened before, but thankfully, hasn't happened in a long time.

No box art but a very cute box card! You can tell he has the dogs in his eyes because he's at home in his JZP-themed house.

Hi! Hope its ok to ask, and sorry if its already been answered before: Do you have fav Les Mis adaption? Or a few?

Thank you for asking me!! I've not watched all of them, considering how many there are floating around out there and how many are sadly lost, but. I have spent this year hunting down and watching every adaptation I could. A special thanks to @ueinra for a lot of help in that regard. I recently made a Letterboxd account and a List just for Les Mis. I've plans to go through and review them properly, (Currently I only have Shoujo Cosette reviewed!) but I'd be happy to try to coalesce my thoughts on my absolute favorite for you, that being the four-part silent* Les Miserables (1925) under this read-more! Hiyah!

It's... Hard to grasp my feelings on LM1925, considering how special it is to me. These films really made me love the idea of cinema again. I had never seen a silent movie before, and frankly I thought they were one of those things that were a bit out of reach for me, but wow I am so so happy I watched LM1925. Not only is it a fantastic adaptation of LM, it's also just a fantastic set of movies (miniseries??) in general. The casting, the acting, the sets, the locations, the attention to detail, the quality of the visuals (which often are just frankly stunningly beautiful), the pacing, the atmosphere. Everything just works and is faithful to the feeling of reading the novel. (I will say I watched it without the accompany music at first, but have since gone back and listened to it overtop on a rewatch, and wow what a cool oddity it is. The Sims 1 soundtrack but with a surreal and often nightmarish twist.) I adore Gabriel Gabrio as Valjean. He really captures the idea that Valjean can both be noble, kind, and fearsome all in one. And Jean Toulout as scrunkly and lively Javert...!! I truly love him. I think them and Sandra Milovanoff as Fantine (less so as her playing Cosette, too, wish they would have cast another person) give absolutely amazing performances. This is also a great adaptation for the Gorbeau part of the book, ESPECIALLY Suzanne Nivette as Eponine, wow! What an Eponine! Probably my favorite Eponine. Same with Thenardier, both the Eponine and Thenardier in this one are tied with LM1972 for me. I also just like the... what I'll call "Theater Acting" performances I've seen in this and in the other early films I've watched since. The thick makeup. The funny expressions. The dramatic poses. All this would be considered overacting in the modern day, but to me it just feels alive. It reminds me of a lot of animations, I suppose, and that delights me. I also love love love that they didn't attempt to make big changes to the material at hand (Hell, they even touch on Waterloo in a way I thought was cool!). LM1925 and Shoujo Cosette made me realise that the longer a Les Mis adaptation is, typically the better it is to me. (with. One exception off the top of my head...) I think by the time I had watched all the other adaptations of both the novel and the musical, I had grown fatigued over the different ways films would try to condense things into 2 hours, and leave a lot on the cutting room floor (even if that usually means they focus more on the J vs JVJ aspect that I always have a weakness for), or when they try to cram everything into said 2 hours and turns it into a pacing nightmare. LM1925 avoids all that!

I feel I'm rambling on, so I'll rapid fire some stuff off. I love that they filmed in the actual msurm. I love that they kept things really grungy when the film calls for it. I love the scenes of the barricade, especially the scenes with the national guards spilling in. I love the subtle changes to the valvert side of things, it's truly one of the better adaptations for the shippers. I need to get on making some gifsets. If you love Les Mis, or just film in general, I think you owe it to yourself to watch LM1925. It's free! It's on the Internet Archive! There are download buttons or you can stream it! Please do! And tell me your thoughts on it!

Since you reblogged the “what is my art style trademark” post: Your art is very uniquely exaggerated, with the expression eyes and poses. Your art also reminds me a bit of those spooky themed fairytale books that I grew up reading, I could imagine your artwork in an illustrated Grimm’s fairytale adaptation. The way you shade, especially the face, is also very distinct as well, especially the way you shade the nose. Your art is very lovely and I’m always delighted when I see it on my dash

aw, thanks! I actually started doing my inking/shading technique as far back as high school, when I was really into Victorian literature. I got inspired by the inking techniques you see in a lot of 19th century illustrations. I was OBSESSED with Sweeney Todd then, and I think the original illustrations for “The String of Pearls,” the penny dreadful the musical was based on, really kicked this off. Here’s an illustration from the book, next to a high school drawing I did of Mrs. Lovett in the musical:

This is where I kind of picked up the shading technique of using a ton of really thin inked lines, which I still use today.

Exaggerated expressions are some of my favorite things to draw, and this comes from a few different inspirations. Obviously, I love German Expressionist art and films, but another influence, of all things, is Spongebob. The gag of grotesque extreme close-up shots disturbed and fascinated me as a kid, but as I got more into art, I became obsessed with the idea of getting that perfect expression to convey incredibly specific emotions, whether in a comedic or dramatic context. I love just getting really gritty into the details and intensifying shading around the eyes. Usually in a drawing like this, I’ll draw the eyes first once I have the basic guideline down, and build around it with shading. Eyes are my favorite part of character drawing- oftentimes, I want them to be the most striking part of a piece. And of course, I also love working with shape language.

Other big inspirations for me are Junji Ito, Jhonen Vasquez, Brett Helquist, and Edward Gorey. You can probably see Vasquez the most in how I do eyelashes- I like to give each character that has them a unique eyelash pattern or shape. Eyelashes are a great way to add characterization; there’s a lot of diversity you can get out of them- how many lashes are on the top, bottom, or sides of the eye, how long they are, what shape they are, etc-

I also want to point this out in my disney princess sketches; many of their eyelashes contain a nod to the character or emphasize their expressions. Snow White’s point up to emphasize cheerfulness, while Sleeping Beauty’s point down and are droopy. Moana’s are shaped like waves, Rapunzel’s like the rays of a sun, and Ariel’s like fish tails:

I'm happy that you mentioned the Grimm's fairy tales; I've been thinking that I would love to illustrate a children's horror project, and I think that would be a great place to experiment! I actually have a book of them on my shelf, so maybe I'll read a few and try illustrating some :))))
