Early 1945

Everyone was talking about what a great team you and Steve were and the missions to overthrow HYDRA so far, even though you had lost Bucky.

With this latest mission, you were hoping to finally get to the Red Skull; however, you had a feeling that a group of Hydra agents surrounded you and Steve. The last thing you remembered was seeing Steve's shield, and then everything went dark; you didn't know for how long.

Steve entered Fury's office with a serious look on his face. He found it odd that he was being called urgently.

“We think we've found Y/N," Nick said bluntly.

“Excuse me?“ Steve was skeptical; his last few days had been a bit strange, and the last thing he needed was a joke.

Nick proceeded to explain that they weren't sure it was you since everything seemed to indicate that they had tried to weaponize you to serve Hydra.

Steve looked at you, waiting for you to wake up. He didn't know how he was going to explain everything that had happened all those years ago.

“Steve... You died, didn't you? Or so I heard." Your voice sounded confused as if you didn't know what had happened to you.

Steve made a huge effort to smile. Even though he wanted to cry, he had already been told about all the modifications HYDRA had made to you to turn you into another one of her killing machines.

“A lot of things happened, Y/N, but don't worry, we're in this together.“

Some of the bingo card thingys caught my eyes with the dissonance

1) I'm sorry "mai and ty lee secretly hate and fear her" uhm the fear is quite explicit in Ty Lee's end, did y'all forget her introduction?? and Mai wasn't handled that well but she also explicitly says that she feared her.

2) "sibling disagreements are abuse" what disagreements? to have a disagreement you have to be on equal terms, and Zuko is never in equal terms with anyone as long as he is in the palace, they are also literally threats, not discussions, is Zuko just supposed to sit and take Azula's threats?

3) "seductress! Azula" what even is this, is it talking about that weird manipulation tactic where they circle around someone that she and sometimes zuko used that was clearly them trying to copy Ozai?

4) "Ursa made zero mistakes" I mean I've never seen anyone say this actually, Ursa wasn't a perfect mother, but she did try to do the best she could in the situation she was in, being with an abuser that also happened to be her king (people often seem to forget that part) while being a non-bender.

idk this only tells me 4 things, 1. Azula stans don't remember the episodes they don't wanna remember, 2. They either fell for Azula's act or don't understand that power dynamics between siblings are a thing that exist, 3. They seem to shift Ozai's blame into other characters or just, make it dissappear? (oh no, she wasn't using her brother as a scapegoat like she learned to do from her father, she was actually being a good sister 😌😌) and 4. They generalize and strawman and recontextualize so much they turn their claims into lies.

Yeah, it's not a secret. And as I said in another ask I just responded to, you can love someone and still fear them. It's weird, especially, for Azula stans, to not get that, considering that she both loves and fears her father.

Sibling disagreements are not abuse, but framing Azula manipulating, tormenting, and literally trying to kill her brother as "sibling disagreements" is abuse apologism.

Yeah, and I think the reason people do this is for the same reasons people sometimes act weird about zutara. Like, I'm sorry the bad guy made you feel some kinda way in your loins and now you gotta repent for your sins, sounds like a you problem!

Even saying Ursa "wasn't a perfect mother" makes me itchy because we barely saw her in the series, and her choices were so limited that she gets criticized more for what she didn't do or what she might have done more than anything. I've never claimed she was perfect but the second I hear people talking about her "flaws" which are actually entirely invented and exist offscreen and in the mind of a literal abuser, you better believe I'm gonna be like "actually she was an amazing mom." She "wasn't a perfect mother" because she once reacted with shock at seeing her eight year old child wish death on someone??? I'm gonna reiterate what I said before, the one talking point that I see get mentioned, when she said "what is wrong with that child," which wasn't even said to Azula, is actually for the audience's benefit more than anything. Which means that we're blaming Ursa for thought crimes here. For the purpose of excusing and minimizing Azula's actual crimes, and in many cases Ozai's as well, by insisting that Ursa was actually just like him because she tried to tell her daughter no a couple times.

Hello!! Of course I do omg are you kidding me!!!!!!! I have a whole tag on my main @wisecrackingeric-2 titled ‘DadSerennedyAU’ if you wanna see my own spin on the idea!!!!! ORRRR if you wanna read something from yet another incredibly talented artist and author I CANNOT recommend @mooseonahunt ‘s AU enough!!!! And I know the lovely @geddy-leesbian has made some posts on this subject also!!!!!!!

But in terms of Headcannons I have plenty!! I’ll put them below the cut to avoid clogging anyone’s dashes!!

Edit: THIS IS UH UM. V E R Y LONG. I WENT KINDA BUCKWILD WITH THIS ONE AHDNCHDNXUXJXJ SO UH PLEASE ENJOY I GUESS!!

• First and foremost they are t4t. Sorry I don’t make the rules (also. Look at my blog name HQNAHWNEHDNDUDJ /lh)

• I imagine it was probably Luis who wanted a kid- we don’t know much about Leon’s childhood other than the fact that his parents died (the very wonderful @highball66 has some more information on the backstory we DO have for him!!) and thus we don’t really have a good idea of what his relationship with his parents might’ve been- but Luis is the TOTAL opposite. We know from context clues that he had a really strong relationship with his Grandfather, who went as far as to encourage his love for science and the unorthodox in an incredibly strict Catholic environment, and it’s implied on some level that Bitores Mendez had some hand in helping raise him, so I can imagine that Luis is very attached to the idea of parenthood and would probably wanna be the same kind of man his Grandfather was to him!!!

• Leon???? Realistically???? Probably a whole lot more hesitant- like he almost dies on the job everyday there’s no way he’d feel fit enough to raise a kid. But also,,,,, this is resident evil and also fiction where we can do whatever the hell we want so hell yeah he comes around to the idea eventually!!!!!!

• Luis is probably accidentally VERY clingy with their kid/a lil overbearing during the toddler age. Everything he’s ever contributed to in his life has either hurt others or he’s destroyed it one way or another- and everyone he’s held closest to him dies in some way. And going off of the first point, he’s probably put a LOT of pressure on himself to be a good Dad like his Grandfather was, so that usually ends up with him hogging the baby HCNNSSNSJSNIS

• Leon, again similar to my last point, would probably have the opposite reaction where he has this gut instinct to keep his distance- like he’s worried if he gets too attached it’s all gonna be ripped away from him just like Sherry was all of those years ago. But I highly doubt either of their qualms last for very long- they’d talk things out and figure out something that works for the both of them <3

• They’d probably go with the same middle and last name as Luis- ‘Serra’ and ‘Navarro’. I know I keep repeating myself but Luis had a really good relationship with his Grandfather and his culture/heritage clearly means a lot to him (ie; the intro to Seperate Ways), so being able to keep that little piece of his history alive would probably mean the world to him <<33

• And going off of that, Luis is ALWAYS trying to encourage their kid to learn more about their culture and heritage- teaching them Spanish, cooking them traditional foods, etc etc etc and when Luis isn’t there to do it, Leon is always more than happy to do so <<<<<<33333

• Let’s be real,,,,,,, Leon is coming up with the cringiest baby names ever HXNEHENDUXNXU CMOOOOOON LOOK AT MR. WHERES EVERYONE GOING BINGO!!!!! But Luis probably isn’t much better BCNENWEJSJ I can easily picture him convincing Leon that noooooo Alonso or Miguel aren’t references to Don Quixote hahahahahaha omg what’re you taaaalking abooout. So anyways if it were a girl what about Dulcinea-

• I’m picturing them choosing to have a kid a lil bit later than most people (like,, late 30’s-early 40’s??? So not like they’re old or anything but it’s not like they’re having kids in their early 20’s yk HNCSHDNSJ) so for that reason in my mind they’d probably only want one kid

• Very predictable but they both read Don Quixote to their kid when putting them to sleep and/or they sing them lullabies in Spanish. Who here is surprised for that one certainly not me

• And once again WHO IS SURPRISED, the kid’s room is very subtly Don Quixote themed. Lil stuffed donkeys and windmill motifs everywhere you get it (<- normalest guy alive)

• Leon’s probably the one who does more physical activities with their kid- realistically, Luis is N O T surviving that knife to the back without some major lifelong injuries, so Leon’s the one who always carry’s their kid on his shoulders or swings him around when they’re playing etc etc

• I think Luis would be a lil sad that he isn’t able to join in on those kinds of physical activities, but he’d absolutely make up for it by taking their kid to work or teaching them general hands-on skills n stuff!!

• Leon ABSOLUTELY would wanna teach their kid self-defence as early as possible. He obviously mellows out and realises hey maybe teaching a 10 year old how to wield a knife is a Bad Idea, but with everything he’s seen in his life there’s no way he wouldn’t want his kid to know how to defend themselves at LEAST

• Wild-card one here but the three of them ABSOLUTELY take family trips to Madrid or other cities in Spain during the summer

• Last wild-card one but sometimes Luis will look at their kid and see his Grandfather so clearly he just starts fuckim bawlimg. Same with Leon. He sees the childhood he could’ve had and sometimes he’s gotta excuse himself to cry. Love these beautiful idiots

Tl;dr they would be very very wonderful parents who would love their kid with all of their heart and soul and you can put that headcannon from my COLD DEAD HANDS!!!!!!

idk if anyone likes these (these being planning posts), but here, it feels weird to have it tucked away in my notes when my BTHB and mcspirk bingo planning posts are on here, so. anywho. you know the drill: this is just me rambling, feel free to ignore!!

Day 1: Forced Proximity (“this isn’t a blessing,” mccoy hisses. “one day,” the king says, “you’ll see that is it.” - the one where spock and kirk cannot get more than an arm's length away from mccoy for 30 days w/o causing him debilitating pain)

Day 2: Touch-starved (spock and kirk cuddle mccoy out of touch starvation - this is like 75% done, I just need to finish it)

Day 3: Only One Bed (established mckirk to mcspirk. um. very nsfw. by far the most nsfw i’ve ever even considered writing lmao. currently sitting at almost 12k, probably will be around 15-17k all told. i don't even know how to describe this. kirk aggressively helping spock play gay chicken with mccoy until mccoy finally believes spock wants both of them, idk.)

Day 4: Hand Holding (maybe the one where spock & kirk slowly gaslight mccoy into holding hands with them - yes the tags are spones but i am very certain kirk would be very happy to gaslight mccoy into hand-holding as well)

If I did do time loop tho it would be the one where Kirk refuses to leave the time loop until he can solve the no-win scenario, i just don’t know how that goes yet. Day 14: Tarsus IV (kirk: i always knew i’d die alone. this is....jim character study, i think? I do need to come up w/ a happy (or at least: not sad) ending for it tho. So I’m still Thinking about this one.)

Day 15: Fake Dating (the one where the royal is trying to marry mccoy in order to keep him, and spock and kirk independently decide to fake date him to save him. also sarek loves trashy romance books. background uhura/scotty.)

Day 16: Lost the Ability to Speak (bones and uhura signing in federation common sign language - yes that's vague but all i need is something to center around tbh)

Day 17: McCoy Hurt w/ Spock & Kirk Comfort (this is like 95% of what i write lmao but i don’t have a specific plot yet)

Day 18: [Jealous Bones OR Oral Fixation (no story planned but it it’s jealousy it’s not gonna be traditional jealousy, bc I’m generally not a fan of jealousy storylines (unless all parties are unaware that they’re jealous - those I find VERY funny)]

Day 19: [Kirk is Missing, Presumed Dead or a bonus - probably a bonus (no story planned)]

Day 20: Accidental Voyeurism (okay the one where mccoy wakes up and his arm is trapped underneath kirk’s head and spock’s holding that hand as he’s laying on top of kirk and making out with him. I will have to find a plot tho. a reason. a Reason. It’s not established spirk either)

Day 21: Bondage (heh established spirk discovering mccoy’s penchant for getting tied up and/or tying others up and then literally not able to shut up about their platonic friends private habits for like a solid three months. they only care platonically of course. you don’t need those other ppl to tie you up bones you’ve got us. this one’s about 10% started.)

Day 22: Mirrorverse (mirrorverse katra sharing, it’s a whole thing, this is out of my wheelhouse but i have some Ideas, but this one isn’t going to be anytime soon)

Day 23: [reunion or teasing or a bonus (no story planned) - *eta actually for teasing i could maybe do the one where spock conducts an "experiment" in a private lab where he has mccoy & kirk work on a project for him while he gets extremely handsy w/ them - he's doing a study ("study" - they're all aware this is just spock's ideal version of foreplay) about human arousal in a working environment, and they're supposed to not let him distract them*]

Day 24: Temporary Blindness (this is going to be such a long messy mccoy whump story tbh. orpheus and eurydice part two. before i can even really start it tho i have to decide on pov, because that….really affects things for this one. but i mostly know how the story goes. also not anytime soon tho, maybe not even this year)

Day 25: Praise Kink (i COULD go temporary awkward ability if i don’t want to write anything too sexy, but the planned version is, like, kirk blossoms like a bashful babe and spock is genuinely moved when it comes to praise, but mccoy turns bright red and wants them to stop? BUT they like so much the way he flushes and struggles to accept the praise that they ask him to be good for them because THEY like it, and so he’s absolutely mortified but still? allows it for them? and they of course like it because they want to make him accept it.)

Day 26: Expectations vs Reality (counseling fic! The one where spock and kirk are dating but still somehow drag mccoy to their relationship counseling.)

Bonus 1: nightmares (look this is fucked, just trust me this is a very messy thing and it is very fucked and i have to make all my maths fit together before i write it or it will feel too flimsy and fall apart, but. kirk's trapped in a nightmare by a parasite that bleeds into the waking world (there are reasons for it) that cause physical damage to mccoy. spock melds w/ kirk to try to change the dream. this has unexpected side effects. - this one WILL be written for mcspirk month i just don't know what day i'm replacing yet.)

Steve woke up one morning with a clear mission in mind: he had to master the internet.

He sat at his desk with a cup of coffee in his hand and a laptop in front of him.

The first battle began with turning on the computer. After several unsuccessful attempts to remember his password, he finally managed to log in after many attempts and several minutes. In fact, he succeeded because he found the paper where you had written down the password. He then opened the browser.

“Let's see how hard this can be.”.

He reread the instructions you had left him, but now it all seemed too complicated; he needed help. He dialed you, but you didn't answer, so he decided to call Tony.

“Tony, I need your help with something technological.”.

“Don't worry; as soon as Y/N gets here, Y/N'll help you.”

When you arrived, Steve was making a mess; hundreds of windows were open, but you started laughing when you saw that he had started live streaming.

The internet had definitely won Steve over.

Mika: (Ugh… the hell was I even on about, tellin’ Tsumu-chan-senpai I’d make a design so perfect it’d impress Naru-chan…)

(I kept thinkin’ ‘bout what Naru-chan might like while designin’ and ended up drawin’ a whole buncha drafts. Now I dunno which one ‘ta choose.)

(Back when I took on a jewellery designin’ gig, I got Naru-chan ‘ta model fer me and successfully designed a necklace that everyone liked.)

(Or maybe it's ‘cause this time ‘round, t’was only outta my personal desire ‘ta gift Naru-chan a brooch that's uniquely fer her and her alone, an’ not for anyone else. So now……)

???: Kagehira-kun, are you currently struggling with something very important?

Mika: Nnah~ bingo…

???: If that's the case, do you need this kind and considerate nii-san to give you some advice~?

Mika: That’ll do me a world of good— hold up, who the hell are ya?!

Kaoru: Ah, sorry, my bad. Did I interrupt your musings?

Mika: Eh?! Ha-Hakaze-senpai?! How long have ‘ya been standin’ there?! Have I been unconsciously sayin’ my thoughts out loud?

Kaoru: Ahaha, it’s nothing like that~ It’s just because your thoughts are clearly written on your face. I’m free right now, so you can talk to me if you have any worries.

Mika: Sorry ya had ta see me so unkempt… I actually wanted ta make a unique brooch as a gift, but I just ended up gettin’ stuck with the design.

When it comes ta usin’ cute elements as the design’s main theme, I just kept thinkin’ how all of them suit each other — I couldn’t pick. So now I’m here, mullin’ over the design drafts.

Kaoru: Huh… if you don’t mind, could you show me those design drafts?

(Hm… looking at it, it seems that most of these brooches have flowers, bows, hearts, and the like as the design’s core, which is rather cute. It’s definitely something a girl would like—)

(Wait, didn’t Kagehira-kun say he wanted to hand make a brooch as a gift? Is he going to give it to a girl?)

(For him to go to such lengths, then it must certainly be for someone who’s important to him, right…?)

Mika: …Hakaze-senpai? I see yer lookin’ like ya’ve got some stuff ya wanna ask me?

Kaoru: Ah, well, you see… What I'm trying to say is that, if you’re aiming for a design that’s more intimate, why not try getting inspiration from the mundanes of their everyday life?

For starters, you can go with how they dress — whether their usual style is more suitable for simpler or fancier jewellery, and identify colour palettes that would act as a complement to them. Just things like that.

Oh, yeah! How about using your outfits during your date as a starting point? It’ll be something rather memorable ♪

Mika: Woah… as expected of senpai who’s a part of the “Date Plan” project [1], ya really know a lot ‘bout these type of things.

Hmm~ If I were ta look at it from an everyday-life perspective, then I do wanna make this brooch suitable for goin’ out on dates too. I’ll trash these, then.

But it’s so hard to choose the best one among the bunch, and I keep thinkin’ how it could be way better… Could I ask for yer help with this again?

Kaoru: Ahaha, no worries~ I’ve got you covered ♪

(…I was just testing the waters by mentioning the word “date” earlier, and he didn’t even try denying it? Could it really be that he actually came looking for me to ask about relationship advice?!)

Kaoru: Uhh… about jewellery… not this one… not this either…

Aha~ found it! “Classic Jewellery Illustration and Design” and “A Selection of a Hundred Brooches”. Both books don't seem too shabby  ♪

Mika: You have a good eye for things, Hakaze-senpai~ I only found one, “A Manual on Jewellery Making”.

Tsumugi: Ah, Kaoru-kun just reminded me. There are a few brooch designs in that “Classic Jewellery Illustration and Design” book that are quite similar to Mika’s ideas for his design drafts. He could check those out…

Kaoru: Eh? You’ve already seen Kagehira-kun’s design drafts?

Mika: Uh-huh~senpai even gave me some real helpful advice. Both of ya are such reliable senpais ♪

Tsumugi: Ahaha, you flatter me too much, Mika-kun~ I’m also an amateur when it comes to designing jewellery, so I decided to skim through some of the books while I was rearranging the bookshelves today.

I was planning on recommending these books that would be useful to you, Mika-kun. Let’s take a look at them now, shall we ♪

Take the design on this page for example. A technique that can be used to convey the delicacy and elegance of flowers could be adding ribbons to a fretwork.

Or perhaps these types of simple yet stylish designs over here aren’t too bad either. I think it would go well with everyday wear.

Kaoru: …How about we approach it like this — Kagehira-kun, what do you think about going over the person’s likes and dislikes with us? This way, if it’s someone we know, it’ll be easier for us to help you narrow down those ideas.

OK I'm a lil worried 'cause I don't wanna make anyone feel bad with this one but! Gotta be honest. I'm just really indifferent to Riku/Roxas because I don't… ship Riku with anyone? HOWEVER that said I do understand the appeal. Gotta love a little hate kissing, or the whole "enemies to rivals to lovers" dynamic. It's just not for me in this case, as a person who… can not actually imagine Riku in a romantic relationship. I DO like RikuRoku as like, a comedic thing though. If you hand me a fic where they're dating but hate every second of it, in a way that's played for laughs and not angst, I would be so into it. Fake Dating AU but they hate everything and have to pretend to be in love. I am for that.

I'm much more interested in them as… just. Not Liking each other. I know that's kinda cliche based on the KH2 stuff, but there's something appealing to me, personally, about them never seeing eye to eye. However that said I don't vibe with the fandom portrayal of them genuinely hating each other. I think it would evolve into a mutual respect thing, where they both admire the other's skills but don't admit it so loud.

VenSora (Sora/Ventus) Oh man. Oh man do not get me started on Ventus and Sora. I can not ship them romantically, but they are literally my absolute favorite relationship in the whole Kingdom Hearts series. Literally almost got a bingo on this one, because I DO actually imagine that they hold hands a lot and Ven definitely kisses Sora on the forehead but naaaah that feels a little like cheating. So in my eyes Ventus and Sora are brothers (that said there is NOTHING wrong with shipping them, this is just My Personal Perspective and I'm not going to get on anyone's case for it because I'm not a loser that bullies people over their ships) and they would kill and die for each other. They actually will be the death of me because every time I think about them I'm just obsessed. I can not describe my love for them properly in just one post so I'll just try real quick to get the main point down, then ramble a bit: Ventus and Sora are each other and are their own separate people. They are self love and self hatred and brotherly love and second chances. They are everything to each other, even when they don't realize it. Ventus and Sora are love. Sora has protected Ventus from the very second of his own birth. Not because he had anything to gain, not just because destiny brought them together, but because even as a Newborn Heart, Sora was so kind and caring that he allowed Ventus to connect with him so they could heal. From the very beginning, Sora saved Ventus' life. And the idea that neither of them were truly aware of that is just so good. Then four years later, Ventus practically dies, he reaches out to Sora, and just because Sora wants to help him (because Sora is Good and Sora is Kind and Sora is Nothing More) Ventus ends up safe. There's no grand reward for it, nothing telling Sora he has to. It is entirely just through kindness that Sora allows Ventus into his Heart to heal. And then, from that moment on, every second of Sora's life before KH3, Ventus is there. Ventus is watching him grow up, is a part of his Heart. You can NOT tell me that Ventus does not love Sora with every little bit of his being. That's his little guy!! He's proud of his little guy!!! And then boom. Cut to the present. Ventus owes everything to Sora. Ventus was Sora. He spent so long in Sora's Heart that he had become a piece of it. And now Sora is gone, and Ventus feels empty, and it hurts more than anything else in his life. Meanwhile, Sora's always had Ventus as a part of him. And now that he's been taken away, Sora feels something missing. So much of his Heart (Roxas. Xion. Ventus. Vanitas.) has been split into pieces and divided up, and it's impossible to ignore that pain. But Ventus was a part of him longer than anyone else, so being without his Light is just... such a powerful feeling. Anyways I'm absolutely mad about these two. The undying, unconditional love Ventus feels for Sora. The fact that they loved each other even before their first real meeting. Their friendship is everything to me and I Will Die if they do not get to interact in KH4. Like I will actually explode.

Ohh... Do Killian!

Sorry for the late reply. I was sleeping a lot and playing games with my brothers. Where was I? Ah, Killian Jones, what a guy! Although I will never find him smoking hot personally, there's something about his sarcastic and loyal personality, how he's totally hiding his soft and broken parts that just make me want to cradle him gently in my arms. Well... 🤭 they wouldn't be a blorbo if I didn't both want to see them tortured, bloodied, and wincing while trying to put on a strong face and then absolutely make me want them saved and protected because how dare anyone hurt them?!

In the same breath, "pwecious widdle bubububububbububb" goes to him because of Detective Rogers/Wish Killian Jones because they were the same up to a point. I believe Killian is capable of all the good and wholesomeness that Wish Killian showed. Although their experiences are different, I fawn at the precious bean Killian Jones has shown to be time and time again when they care about someone or something. I smile thinking of Killian making silly faces, playing around, and telling stories to little Hope, ultimately bringing light and safety into his child's life in the way he never got to have. Ah... I wish there were so many plot lines like his time in Neverland or time to regret the people he murdered that would have been delved into, but Colin made every moment and arc feel so lived in (even when he was just expression filled eye candy in the background). That's where I sort of wanna poke a stick at A&E for turning him into main character's boyfriend. I loved the moments that had choices and how Killian was affected by the struggle of good and bad, what he stands for and why. In any case, that's why I want to "dissect them under a microscope" XD

Ayyy, daddy issues. We all know why he has that, not so sure the stabby stab out of anger was best though. After everything Killian has had to endure, man needs therapy and someone's got to support him there bc I can't imagine him not kicking and screaming, saying he's fine and that someone else needs it more than him. Dark Hook is a prime example of his mental health deteriorating and feeling a high as he sabotages himself and others without thinking about morals, all the while internally screaming for help. Don't get me wrong, still one of my favorite variations to this day. The unruly long hair, dark mix of modern day pirate, and OH how can we forget the dramatic actions?

There is no moment where I don't go "AAAAH why do you do this to me? I hate you, I hate you!" Any occurrence of where Killian Jones appears on my dash or is mentioned, I find myself in a flurry of emotions because I love them so much and I hate that they make me feel like a proper fangirl. Humor, whump, romance, action, suspense, fluff, etc. You name it, he's probably done it. Even if his technology and habits are outdated. My favorite running gag is him usually falling on the floor. Clearly, if I go on, this is going to turn into a ten hour speech (it probably could as I'm absolutely never bored about the dashing pirate). Woohoo, bingo twice and nearly three times.
