#yes this source does link to a tumblr blog and yes my emotions are just insane right now #but i just KNEW IT because i'm also an infp and to be fair i don't believe the Myers Briggs is the end-all be-all of personality tests #but it helped me understand myself so much when i was younger and identifying characters who share a lot of my personality types #helps me to stave off self-loathing #chuck is like #my idealized vision of myself #personality-wise #i want to BE that good #that selfless #and kind-hearted and genuine and so full of love that i literally can't hide it even if i want to #wow i feel like i'm 13 again or something #rambling about this fictional dude #but jeez this show genuinely makes me feel so seen #i don't know but i'm being sincere and i'm not gonna undercut my own sincerity #so what if i'm also being juvenile

As I was driving back to work from my lunch break I saw a car come to a complete stop at a crosswalk (no stoplight), and the driver leapt out and ran to the opposite side to help an old man in a wheelchair cross the street.

There were 5 cars behind him. Single-lane. All of the other drivers were pissed beyond reason.

But he stopped the world just to help one person.

Faith in humanity fucking restored.

proud to say that I have never once in my life figured out the whodunit in any crime story I've read or watched. I just let the facts and clues wash over me, absorbing absolutely none of it. I am the audience they think of when they throw in red herrings, in case you've ever wondered "who would fall for this obvious false lead". it's me. I am the idiot viewer/reader. not once has an obviously framed clue revealed anything to me. my head is completely empty when I consume these stories.

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."

NOW??? NOW?? you'd think I'd be oh so skilled. but alas. i can barely piece together two ideas. adhd skill-regression is so so real. im SOBBING

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.

to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:

kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him
