Childe is a family man.
Of course he loves his current family—so much that he spoils them everytime he comes home to Snezhnaya.
But recently he’s come to a point where he’s thought of making a family of his own. Sadly, he’s been too busy with his work as a harbinger to even find someone he wants to get to know better.
That all changed though when he saw you comforting Teucer at the lake nearby his family cabin.
When he came to the lake, he wasn’t expecting hearing the sad sobs of his younger brother Teucer. Instinctively, he began to run through the snowy terrain and towards where the cries were coming from.
There he saw you, panicking and reassuring Teucer (albeit timidly). Teucer had clung to you, hugging you tightly as he cried his eyes out on your shoulder, and there you were—knelt to the young ginger’s height as you embraced him, softly patting his back to soothe whatever was ailing him.
Something ticked inside Childe’s head, and before he knew it he was walking towards you with a glint of interest in his eyes.
Childe called out to Teucer, and Teucer let go of you to rush over to his older brother. It put a smile on Childe’s face knowing he was still his younger brother’s favorite. You stood up, and both of you introduced each other.
You say that you were new, having just moved into the neighborhood from Liyue. Currently, you began to work as a tutor for the neighborhood kids, adding that you’ve always liked kids and wanted to help and see them grow up. It gave you such a fulfilling experience.
Oh, you had no idea how that statement made Childe’s blood rush to his head… and pants.
He smiled, saying that he also liked kids, his younger brother Teucer in particular. He asks how you managed to meet Teucer since he usually just stays inside playing with the Mr. Cyclops toys that Childe gave him everytime he returned. You reply that you visited his family cabin because his mother invited you over after helping her with some groceries before.
Teucer randomly began to mention how his brother was single—much to his own brother’s surprise. Who taught him that? Childe thought as he awkwardly laughs it off in front of you, though he secretly hoped you’d take interest in such a topic.
Before any of you could even say another thing, Teucer began to go off again, talking to his brother how pretty you were, and how he liked and wanted you to be another one of his big sisters. You were flattered of course and chuckled at the cute ramblings of the kid.
You asked Childe if this was a normal thing, and Childe responded that he doesn’t usually do this. You began to talk to each other, and Teucer seemed to notice how the two of you got a long so well so quickly.
So he asked you the million dollar question.
“Hey, will you marry my big brother Ajax?” He asks abruptly, stunning you and Childe momentarily.
A blush forms on your cheeks as you began to laugh bashfully, scratching your cheeks with a finger, unsure of how to respond to the child without sounding too bad.
“Uhm… Teucer, we just met.” You say to the young boy.
“But you’ll marry him, right?” He seemed so excited at the thought, and Childe was as well, though he decided to laugh it off.
“Teucer, don’t get too excited now. No one’s rushing for me to get married.” Childe tells his younger brother kindly, though Teucer only pouts.
Oh, but the plans that Childe began to have in his head after Teucer mentioned marriage. He definitely saw a possibility that he could spend a future with you.
Maybe give him some time, get to know him. You’ll definitely find yourself spoiled rotten in the future by this handsome Snezhnayan bachelor.
✦ I’m not obsessed with him, I’m not obsessed with him, I’m not-
✦ happy birthday to my dearest darling harbinger and husband
[Good lord I just wanna pamper him with kisses in the face]

Can I interest you in some guppy Black Pearl art in these trying timez? (with a hint of Grand Reef Cookie, of course!)
believe it or not, I had these doodled before the update! Granted, bp was colored slightly different than now, but it's easy to fix that with pixels~!
Frankly my ideas on how my shining grandpapa Grand Reef haven't changed much! In fact, I think the conformation that bp has (or had) sisters helps me! All that really changed is that merbabies leave the reef at a certain age to go with their pod of siblings to their kingdom and be a good citizen or whatnot-
AND BECAUSE I'M ME~
Yes, I know logistically there is no way in HELL these two would have ever met as kids; But that's what AUs are fooooooooor~~~~ SO SHUSHH

Actually no I cannot stop thinking about the fact that, it's not that that Scene is the first time the Collector has cried, it's just the first time there's been tears.
I mean;
Look at this. This is the expression of someone who's about to cry. And, notably, they do.
We can LITERALLY hear them crying in the next scene- but when Luz approaches them;
There's no tears. Quite possibly because, physically, it's not meant to be possible for them. After all, they are meant to live in space, I think having water freeze right when it comes out of your eyes would be a hinderance, honestly.
But, then later,
they do cry tears.
so what's different about them here than before??
My first thought is the icky moss stuff. Which is, coming from a combination of Belos and The Titan. Aka, the being that can negate all of the Collector's magic. And it is shown that the Collector's magic was not working. They were, for all intents and purposes, as close to human as they could be, here.
Clearly, they have enough power to hold up the archives, but it's very obviously painful for them- which is weird, from someone who can easily move the moon, you'd think that stabilizing the archives would be easy- except for the fact that, other than the star-board he's standing on (something that seems to be more of an magic item than his own magic, in my opinion, since others can seemingly use it without his input), and the ribbons (possibly also an item), he's not actually using magic to hold it up, just their own raw strength. (Which, wow, if this is how much they can lift at their weakest, how strong is this kid just in terms of physical strength?)
But anyways, that's not my final point.
My final point is that, even after the moss is gone- suddenly we see tears forming in the Collector's eyes, when we didn't before.
Their ability to form tears didn't go away.
It could, of course, just be a symbolic thing, you know, but... there was some Titan magic mixed in with everything. What if the Collector is now more mortal than he was before? Does he know? Can he be affected by things he couldn't before, like illness or poison? Did it impact his decision to return to the stars?
What does becoming just a bit more mortal mean to an immortal?

You know what, from Izuku's behavior this chapter I really do feel like he's still reeling in everything that has happened. And of course, he is not going to be exactly happy about it.
Izuku is the type that something will bother him for a long time. Even if others around him are celebrating, he's not going to be okay.
Of course, some of the fandom for a while seemed to act like Izuku was going to be so happy Tomura ended right in front of his face!
Uh, no. He wouldn't be. When it comes to failure and lost, Izuku feels that.
"Izuku is so heartless!"
Then if he is, why for the last two chapters he's been feeling upset? If he was a "heartless" person he would be cheering on like nothing happen.
But no. He doesn't do that.
Just because he's not bawling his eyes out don't mean he's not feeling that failure.
It's just something to me that this fandom...
Hates when Izuku shows emotions
Cheered on during his Dark Era when clearly he was at his worst, I guess mental health isn't important
And then hates when Izuku apparently "isn't showing emotions"
Like??? If y'all act this way with a fictional character, I hate to know how you treat a real emotional person.

Every single time someone makes Azul out to be a pathetic easily bullied guy with no ability to defend himself whatsoever an angel loses its wings falls to the ground and fucking dies.
Please remember, Azul's overblot was the exception, not the norm. He's not a pathetic little crybaby. The thing about this portrayal is that it does insinuate the idea that someone is weak and "pathetic" for having a breakdown when it's this widespread, clearly genuinely belief that a character is pathetic as evidenced by one breakdown.
Same goes for Riddle. Yes, he had a breakdown during his overblot, but with both him and Azul, that was an exception, not the norm. There are plenty of scenes where they've both shown themselves to be smug and powerful characters.
Heck, even during Azul's breakdown, he did end up displaying his true power by sucking that literal magic and talent out of all the students nearby. Leona literally stated that his Unique Magic was forbidden. Riddle was known as the Crimson Tyrant because of the way he treated others. Azul isn't going to cry every time someone insults him, case in point, the way he behaves with Jamil, who makes a habit out of it. He doesn't run off feeling hollow after every interaction, because, well, he keeps coming back! And his enthusiasm is never hankered!
Even when dealing with physically stronger individuals, like Floyd (and most twst characters let's face it most of the cast has six packs), Riddle is never afraid. It was once mentioned that he effortlessly overpowered Floyd during the opening ceremony in Beans Day. With his magic, he's not weak, and he's certainly not helpless.
Obviously, while you can write whatever you want, I just want to explain why I believe that characterization is inaccurate. I love writing fics myself, and I (a long with most fic writers I've asked) prefer writing things that seem like they could reasonably happen with the characters and/or au in question.

Imagine being Akira Fudo. Imagine carrying so much goodness and grace inside your heart that you made Satan fall in love with you until the death of earth in a constant loop over and over again, making a creature that once didn't even feel empathy towards something as helpless as a little kitten, shed tears over your own downfall. Divine pain that has never been felt before, with the trivial possession of a pure, human heart and the ability to feel. Feel deeply, even. The angel who has been taught nothing but destruction, God's disposal, finding home in your arms. Whether it's before he remembered who he was, or afterwards. Imagine being Akira Fudo and Satan's highest priority, most prized treasure. Genuinely convinced if everyone loved like those two from their core, malice would not even dare to exist
