Have you seen Return to the Bunker? it's a Gravity Falls fan episode by Keyan Carlile and it was posted to youtube today. the voice acting is spot on and it feels like watching an actual episode

I saw it.

I did not enjoy Return to the Bunker, personally, and had a lot of issues with the writing and characterizations of the main cast, so I don't think I appreciate it in the same way a lot of other fans seem to love it. Certain scenes bothered me, a lot of the jokes fell flat, a lot of the actions taken by characters felt out of character or even completely contradictory to what we've seen in the series. The script just had so many issues, and I suspect it was written by someone who has a completely different interpretation of this series than I do, or even dislikes many of the main characters. Still, we all connect to media in different ways, and I am not trying to sour your appreciation for this fan project.

Still, I thought the VA work and the storyboarding was actually really solid. My issues were with the script, but the voice actors and artists did a wonderful job and I can tell a lot of love went into the project.

How does one watch 10 seasons of Friends not by choice? Sorry if that sounds sarcastic I'm genuinely curious cause it's 10 seasons. It's a long show

KJHFKSJDFHKSD NO YOURE VALID ok so. January 2021 my dad got covid and was isolated in the basement ok and this was before the vaccines were a thing so this was TERRIFYING. my Nonna was also still alive and living with us and we knew if she got it it would kill her, so my mom, my brother and I were hyper vigilant and stressed and just. having a really bad time for 2 weeks

my mom was REALLY struggling and ended up putting on Friends and that was just. the background show the entire isolation period. and what was I gonna do, tell my mom not to watch her comfort show? go hide in my room (at the time my brother and I's room, we shared a room for 14 years, I got my Nonna's room when she was moved to hospital for end of life care) and not interact with anybody? I was so desperate to be not alone that I just. dealt with it. and watched the entirety of Friends, beginning to end

I still think its probably the most overhyped show ever

#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
