dick and jason dynamic, where when they were younger jason always idolised dick and didnt see any of his faults and then he comes back as red hood and is mad at everyone including dick because he is the golden child, the can do no wrong child, that follows batmans rules

then for one reason or other he starts kind of working with nightwing

they develop a working relationship as equals, dick is not his older brother, he is his colleague

and this is where jason finds out that dick "anger issues, hasnt had a civil conversation with bruce in the past couple of years" grayson is in fact on as perfect as he always thought

he gets to see the side of him that dick never lets his younger brothers see, the nasty side that is ready to hurt anyone and do anything for the people that he cares about

they end up having to rescue robin from a hostage situation and jason almost gets a black eye because he is staring frozen at dick breaking bones and lightly maiming without a care in the world because tim has been drugged, kidnapped and is currently sitting tied down to a chairs passed out, so dick doesnt have to worry about him remembering any of this and just goes to town on all the goons

afterwards jason doesnt know what to think because who was that, hes never seen his brother act like that (and maybe he feels mad because where was this energy when he was kidnapped)

then they end up having a run it with some known joker goons, they are just patroling, notice something weird and jason doesnt even plan to engage, he has his plan for the joker and taking down his goons that are seemingly not doing anything interesting is not part of it, maybe he can to little surveillance later, find out what they are doing

dick whoever has very different plans because he has made it his mission to destroy anything regarding the joker so he doesnt even take a moment and just drops on them

jason is obviously surprised but well if this idiot is just gonna go and fight them, its not like hes gonna let him do it alone, so he goes and helps

and here jason gets to again see the part of dick that he saw the other day and even gets to see the reaction of the goons when they see nightwing, hes never see a group of criminals scramble faster not even from batman

after this jason is even more confused, even considers asking talia if maybe dick didnt take a dip it the pit recently but decides against it and just tries his luck with going to the source

so next time him and dick are doing something together he asks, because he heard that "nightwing is a pretty chill vigilante and follows batmans rules"

unbeknown to him dick just had fight with bruce couple hours ago, so the batman comment really just sets him of and he basically screams in jasons faces that hes not batman, he doesnt care about his stupid rules, that if he could kill the joker he would because he took his brother from him and hes never letting that happen again, so he shows very obviously that robin is under his protection and that if anyone tries to mess with him, they will have to answer to him and his no killing rule might just not be as unbreakable as batmans

and goes on how he was never batmans perfect soldier even when he was robin and that maybe if he followed the rules back then his brother would have never gotten the mantle and he would be alive right now, but he just couldnt, why should he not just stab the rapist in the dick so that he never does it again, why cant he break a hand of an abuser, theyve done much worse to their partner

and when he is finally done, jason feels like his whole world view shifted just a bit to the right and he doesnt know what to do about any of this and his big brother is right there, obviously hurting and god has he missed him so much, so he just runs into his arms, gives him the biggest hug and says someone like "i missed you dickhead"

and dick goes all still because what? and they pull apart and they stupid helmet is removed and there is crying and hugging and jason still isnt sure what to do now that he knows that his ohh so perfect brother isnt actually that perfect and they have a lot of stuff to work through but maybe right there in the moment being hugged by his brother none of it matters

୨୧ He would mock you for the first few days, calling you "short ghost", since you were always so quiet and observant, you didnt even greet him properly when he talked to you for the first time.

୨୧ The mockery would be often until the first day you had to fight together, and oh boy, shocked wasnt even close of how he felt after seeing you all covered in blood and pieces of organs.

୨୧ Your delicate and fluffy pink dress being painted by the vibrant red color of blood along with small pieces of the members of the enemy team's organs.

୨୧ Your chainsaw as pink as your dress, turned on and sawing your enemies in half without mercy, the sound of the chainsaw almost drowning out the enemy team's spy screams of pain.

୨୧ You turned off your chainsaw, leaving it aside stuck in the spy's stomach, you dashed away from the gory scenario you caused, pulling out a knife with a pink decorative bow on it, you were laughing like a maniac, ready to stab some bitches.

୨୧ he already was terrified by the thought that he understimated you who turned out being an total psycopath, and the sight he had of you chasing the other team's scout like your life depended on it didnt help at all.

୨୧ "IM GONNA USE YOUR HEAD AS MY DECORATION WALL YOU FUCKING BRAINLESS DEER" you shouted in the most terrifying, shivering voice chasing the enemy scout that was screaming like a fucking siren for his life.

୨୧ after the battle was over, Scout got real quiet around you, he wouldnt apologize or anything, he just would silently avoid talking to you.

୨୧ you noticed that, of course, but you didnt care at all, because you had other things to attend to.

୨୧ After a while, Scout little by little started trying to interact with you, to, you know, take away that guilt that he was excluding you from behind his back (or the fear that you will suddenly appears in his room to take all of his teeth out while he sleeps as revenge).

୨୧ and it turns out you're a chill person when not in killing mode or when your in "dont talk to me" mode, Scout hitted himself internally for subestimating you AGAIN.

୨୧ You two turned to be great friends in the end, but he still gets the creeps from you because of your brutal habits.

୨୧ he stays away from your room AT ALL COSTS.

୨୧ Seriously, the last time he entered your room without knocking, he witnessed you performing an creepy blood ritual with an Spy head (you TOTALLY didnt steal it from medic).

୨୧ You just waved to him like what you were doing was totally normal.

୨୧ But when hes not scared of you, he jokes with you alot, especially in the battlegrounds, he uses you as a threat alot to the enemies, or as a special weapon.

୨୧ "SAY HELLO, TO MY LITTLE FRIEND" he screams as he pulls you out of nowhere and throws you in the enemy heavy's face like a fucking bug.

୨୧ One time, you decided to pull a little prank on him, you hid yourself in his room's shadows, and when he finally entered, you jumped on him with the most terrifying screech ever.

୨୧ Lets say that Scout turned into Ariana grande that day.

୨୧ "ooo yeah your real scary." Scout said trying to keep his "toughness" after the most girly, feminine high pitched, chipmunking scream ever.

୨୧ Ok, i dont think he would take a liking to you at first, he would just ignore you, only thought he would have about you is that the way you dress is cute, but he would assume you were weak.

୨୧ Another one who would understimate you, the only difference is that he wouldnt mock you, its Medic, hes more mature than Scout. (anyone is more mature than scout.)

୨୧ He wouldnt even bat an eye on you, at most only wave or greet you shortly because he knows you're eerily quiet and doesnt really have a big habit of talking, until you two were in battle.

୨୧ He was healing heavy that time, and thats when he saw you stabbing an enemy demoman in the cheek repeatedly. your maniacal laughs almost silencing the demoman's screams and begs.

୨୧ He was STUNNED, he swore that he started seeing everything going in slow motion, your silky hair moving with each brutal and fast movement you did, the scarlet liquid flying into your delicate face and soft hair.

୨୧ You finished the demoman with only one hard and brute swing with your arms, your little delicate hands clutching the knife handle so hard that they were a little bit red, and with only one hard moviment, you carved your knife into the demoman's head.

୨୧ “Look! now your an unicorn” you mocked the now dead demoman infront of you, before grabbing your pink knife decorated with your enemy's blood and brain, getting up and running away like a possessed bug.

୨୧ The ex doctor's heart was beating like crazy, he didn't know what caused him to fall for you in that moment, you killing the man so brutally, or if it was your delicate pink clothes being dyed with blood. (or maybe both)

୨୧ After the battle, you could feel medic burning holes into you, he was staring you like crazy, not that it bothered you, it was just unusual for people to stare at you like that, especially when no one really dares to look at you out of feat.

୨୧ Medic would try to strike some conversation with you regardless if you answer him or not, he would just be happy with you listening to him.

୨୧ The thing that Medic most likes in you is how you can balance your cute aesthetic with your creepy habits, its really impressive to him, for him its either one or another.

୨୧ When he saw you doing your blood rituals, he would be interested, since.. you know, he already got involved with the devil himself, sometimes if you need he'll gift you with a kidney or two.

୨୧ "Well, my friend, i must say that i have subestimated vou in the first time we've met! i should judge a book by its cover less." he would confess in a casual discussion between you two.

୨୧ I think he would ask you out by gifting you a head with a note attached written: "will you steal organs with me?" real cheesy but creepy.

୨୧ He used uber on you once, not really a good idea... for the enemy team.

୨୧ You were tearing bitches left and right, there was guts and blood everywhere, in your face, body, floors, walls, EVERYWHERE.

୨୧ You only stopped when you met your demise, and medic was admiring you the entire time.

you made your way onto set. you walked with your tote bag thrown over your shoulder, phone in hand as you walked pretty fast without looking up. knowing how clumsy you were, you were surprised you hadn’t bumped into anything yet. or maybe anyone. you got a text and opened as fast as someone could blink as soon as you saw the name.

you caught yourself smiling at your phone before turning it off and looking around as you walked. 

a few minutes later you made it to your trailer. you walked in and turned on the light, cracking your knuckles then tossing your bag on the small couch you had. you took your phone back out and texted jack.

you:

i’m here in my trailer, come get me ghostface👻👻

you thought it was sweet that there was a mutual thing between you and jack where it was completely needed and necessary to end all texts with an emoji, if either of you couldn’t find one you’d have to call or send an audio message.

about an hour later, everyone got their costumes on and ready to film. you were so thankful that the character you played, Elena, gave off the same vibes as you, so, you could dress her yourself. sometimes even with your own clothing. maybe it was your face ? you were very pretty, after all. a kind of rarer pretty, like a magical pretty ? but it definitely was not just your conventional attractive pretty. everyone got on set and you saw jack for the first time that day. you ran up to him and hugged him, your arms wrapped around his waist, in a friendly way. he hugged you back and you pulled away after a few seconds. 

“ y’know, i think you’re a pretty good-looking killer “ you said to him with a soft smirk. 

you guys always flirted with eachother, not even realizing. 

“ why thank you “ he said in a weird accent. 

before you started filming the prop guys had to fix some stuff so you guys got a quick break. you walked over to jack’s trailer, which he wasn’t in and sat down eating some gummies you found in your bag. after a few minutes jack comes inside without making noise since the door was cracked open already. he closes the door behind him silently and sits right next to you. he peeked over onto your phone as you played your favorite game. even though it wasn’t really fun to watch, he was insantly interested in anything you were. you didn’t even realize he was there because of how into it you were, besides, he didnt make a sound.  you noticed when he reached over to your bag of Haribos to get one. you jumped and almost dropped your phone.

“ shit, jack ! fuck ! you scared the life out of me “ you said with your hand that held your phone up to your heart. 

he burst out into a fit of laughter.

“ your- “ he couldn’t even speak without laughing. after about a minute or two of him laughing wiping his tears and you staring at him like he’s insane he finally says something. 

“ your face, ____ your face ! you looked at me like i’d just stabbed you ! “ he said, still with a smile from ear to ear on his face.

you looked at him with an unimpressed look on your face, scoffing at him as you bit back a smile. 

“ it wasn’t even that funny, idiot “ you said as you ran your tongue across your teeth trying not to smile. he saw right through you.

“ you wanna laugh so badly, don’t you ? ” he said as he looked down at you. you looked up at him, with a soft smile on your face. you laughed a little too as you had to give in. the room went silent and awkward as you’d looked at each others faces for a few seconds. unconciously, you both leaned in. you looked at his lips and your full lips parted a bit. your heart was pounding but you didn’t know that his was too. your lips touched and your hand travels up his chest to the back of his neck, sliding up to grab a handful of his curly hair. you pulled him closer and before you knew it you were turning your head into the kiss. both hands around his neck now as you tugged lightly on his brown locks. then you realized. you really realized. you were close to, but not quite making out with jack champion. he was your starboy. you’d never believed it, even if you told yourself from this morning that you kissed jack champion for a good, 30 seconds, you wouldn’t believe it.

you opened your eyes and they widened, looking back at him. his cheeks a flushed, rosy color. as were yours. you opened your mouth to say something but nothing came out.

you got up and he did as well after you, towering over you. he looked at you with eyes that were saying that he wanted you to say something. anything. you couldn’t. physically, nothing could come out. you had no idea what was going on, you never thought of jack in that way. or, well, in the way that you would kiss him for almost a minute straight kind of way. you walked out practically running to your trailer. 

all jack could do was watch, he was frozen and just as, if not even more shocked than you were. as you walked you remembered all the times you were around him. you’d get butterflies. he could be in the same room as you and you’d get butterflies but you’d labeled it as ‘nervousness’ for ‘no reason’. but it’d only ever happen around him. him. then you realized, the non-purpose flirting, the butterflies, the need to be around him. you were inlove with him ! god, how didn’t you notice before. that’s why everyone would look at you too with funny eyes whenever you’d flirt without knowing, thinking it was a friendship thing that only you two did around each other.

everyone probably definitely knew. they knew how you felt before you did. you opened the door to your trailer and locked it. you sat down as thoughts raced through your mind. how would you tell him ? how would you tell jenna and devyn and liana ? did he like it ? did he mean it how you meant it ? was it just a kiss for him ? .. is jack inlove with you too ?

Seth had to grab Scout. They may be smaller that that guy but shit they're lethal when needed.

Has threatened a customer with a wrench when they tried to get in Seth's face.

Casper:

When younger def pulled knives on bullies, that's how Charlie stopped being put in lockers (lil hc)

Casper I feel like is good at hand to hand, can and will break your nose.

One time they went with Charlie for a delivery and the guy tried to intimidate him bc the guy didnt have enough money.

But Casper slammed their hand with their knife in the door and said pay up.

Rook:

Lil scenario that a enemy of Auron got into the penthouse and was fighting Auron and Rook took a vase and smashed the dudes head.

They then took a piece of the vase and kept stabbing the dude. Auron had to calm them down as they held him tightly.

Has also pointed a gun at someone for threatening to take Auron away from them (HC bc why not?)

Angel:

Punched a priest when he tried to banish Lucien away, the holy water he used burnt him.

They were able to talk their way through everything and told them the priest was crazy for barging into their house.

I feel like a witch probably tried to "help"

them get ride of Lucien, but Angel didnt want that and fought the witch.

Star:

Slammed a fan on the ground for yanking Faust to them, they almost dislocated the fans shoulder while doing so.

Since they had a stalker Star took defense classes. Star also is able to use anything as a weapon (bc why not? Let the listeners be lethal I say)

Got into a other streamers face since they insulted Faust and he snapped back. Dared them to try and touch him to see what would happen. The streamer got knocked out bc they hit Star.

they get intercepted on their rescue mission and just as the assassin people were about to rush forward and start stabbing, guess who appears spinning out of nowhere to save his beloved one true soulmate its wkx wearing hot red robes with sexy red eyeshadow, who boomerangs his little paper fan and slices their throats all in one go, does another little spin for dramatic flavour and slowly flutters down like an autumn leaf in the wind, successfully making the most replayed segment of the episode 🍃

and then everything he says from this moment on is like "fuck you, im better than you, eat shit" and DPJ is like "yeah ur cool and all but you're only one person" as if he didnt just kill half your men in one swipe while flying. anyway then zzs is like "who said hes alone" and steps out of his little carriage looking like hes about to die. like bro!! you cant even stand chill tf out. wkx comes over and holds his boyfriend and gets full on whiplash from switching too fast between (1) gazing lovingly at zzs and (2) murderous stares assassin gvng.

then like 3000 ghosts come out from the forest looking for a nice fight with 20 men, half of whom are dead, and the rest of them just dip like nope not today

they all kneel for our favourite gays and then wkx kneels as well and zzs, who still looks like hes abt to collapse and die, is like "fuck yeah im still influential" and awkwardly pats wkx's head like hes some overgrown puppy, which is not entirely inaccurate ykwim

so our power couple gets like 20 more kids for the price of none, and head back to god knows where to meet 😱 some more gays😱 one of them is a healer and the other looks like asian robert sean leonard so... whats new 😮‍💨

wkx finds some time to wipe off his eyeshadow and everyone is ready to die for zzs suddenly, and wkx goes from 🥺 "a-xu is gonna live??" to walking back into ghost valley in the blink of an eye without even changing clothes. scorpion king is also there 😱😱 i didnt even know they were working together cos i skipped all of the boring old people scenes. the twinks face off in some intense power play conversation where everyone wants to top, wkx has a mid life crisis in his pajamas featuring genocide and suicide but then hes like but SOMEONE taught me to live love laugh aka im in love, finishing off a killer episode that fully lives up to the drama part of chinese drama. my man needs to be locked up. in a mental hospital.

bonus: zzs in ep32, freshly injured from having metal hooks stabbed through his shoulders, is like "noooo little girl don't you know i need alcohol to live???" huge announcement everyone youve dedicated your lives to following an alcoholic 🤦

twink healer is like "bro u cant even taste shit" and james wilson is like "remember when u wanted me to find u a cute gf... but turns out... (ur gay)"

omg i wanted to stop, but like the dramatic clown ass scenes just keep coming what can a girl do 🤷

so zzs goes back to serving face (not that he ever really stopped) and he overhears that wkx is about to be forced off a cliff 😱. so flutters into this 50v1 fight with about 2% of the dramatic flair that wkx has, steps up to kiss him except they cant cos censorship, and is like "me n u against the world babe." 🤦

yby comes too cos this drama is tiresome and neverending, and wkx is like "im tired, kill me 🫠", which is so relatable, but then he puts up a damn good fight before falling off the cliff from one tiny needle through the heart. zzs also jumps after him and everyone is like 😱 even though they can literally fly.

but hes dead (not rly) so zzs burns his corpse by kicking a lamp at it and sits at the cliff to reminisce the good old times when he was a hobo and wkx followed him around like a clingy wife. he relapses into alcoholism and pulls all his nails out aaaand this is just romeo and juliet with gay and dramatic flair 😮‍💨

as someone whos got a romeo and juliet adaptation/sequel on the backburner, i have a question for you: What is your favorite part of this play? It can be themes, a scene, or a character or whatever else! Personally my favorite thing in it, at the risk of sounding cliche, are the themes of destiny and doom. I also like benvolio (totally didnt get him in ur quiz lol)

oooh!! well i mean the obvious answer for me is equally obvious i think lol

i fuckin love mercutio. so much so that even if im watching a version of r&j i don’t care for i’ll stick around at least until he dies lol

he really just cements the tragedy of it all to me. if the story were a romance he’d just be the silly best friend comic relief character, and, aside from the opening narration and a couple fights, r&j really can seem like a romance… up until mercutio dies. his death is a signifier of the tonal shift. the happy-go-lucky guy who brings romeo to a party and cracks jokes just died. you want comic relief? he’s dead.

and of course there’s the fact that he shouldn’t even be involved. he’s not a capulet or a montague. he’s related to the prince. not a part of the families. he’s a casualty. he was a friend to romeo and benvolio- two montagues- and he was invited to the capulet party! he’s how they got in! he had no enemies- he shouldn’t’ve died! hell, had romeo not come between him and tybalt, he might have lived. then romeo wouldn’t’ve killed tybalt, he wouldn’t’ve been banished, juliet wouldn’t’ve had to fake her death leading to well… everyone knows that part.

he only got into the fight to defend his friend’s honor. (well, to be fair depending on how you read the dialogue before the fight, mercutio might be pretty ready to jump into a fight for any reason lol) but still, he got into that fight because tybalt wanted to fight romeo, and he only died because romeo intervened.

what really gets me too is… no one seems to mourn him. sure, yes, romeo kills tybalt in revenge, but then immediately tybalt’s death takes priority. everyone’s freaking out about how tybalt died- tybalt is mourned. i don’t recall if mercutio is ever mentioned again. (edit: mercutio is mentioned when paris dies, romeo calls him mercutio’s kinsman, but that’s. still not much)

there’s also his iconic quote as he’s dying- a plague on both your houses. as he dies he goes out screaming about how both families are at fault, how it’s their own stubbornness that is causing all this. and if anyone listened to him, maybe things would’ve been different. but still, romeo and juliet (…and paris i guess?) have to die before anyone actually listens.

also, on a more lighthearted note, he is fucking hilarious. his whole queen mab monologue to make fun of romeo is a personal highlight, as well as his line like… quoting from memory here, “here comes romeo, without his ‘ro’ like a dried fish.” okay okay so this is when they still think romeo is into rosaline, hence the “ro” but also “roe” like fish eggs, but also meo is a word for “sigh” so he’s sad because he doesn’t have his crush with him all told with a fish pun. love this guy i aspire to be on his level

ooh, also, when a staged production (or other kind? it’s most common staged) uses red for the capulets and blue for the montagues, i love when mercutio wears purple. goes back to my earlier point about him not being either but still being friendly with both.

also speaking about very specific productions of romeo and juliet some mercutio highlights:

-in rómeó és júlia (personal fav version of mercutio) when mercutio gets stabbed, he bleeds, gets his hand covered in blood, and slaps romeo before he dies, so romeo goes through the rest of that scene wearing his friends blood and it really adds to it

-also in that version they give mercutio a rap verse that is in no other version and i think of it constantly

-he also keeps flirting with everyone and kisses both romeo and benvolio and tries to with tybalt

-i made a compilation of him in that version i never posted actually i should see if i can find it

-in the italian version of romeo et juliette mercutio kisses romeo as he dies and it’s really intense lmao

-okay actually just watch this video comparing different versions of le duel from romeo et juliette i’ll stop talking about those versions specifically lmao (and watch les rois du monde & la mort de mercutio on the same channel)

-in romeo + juliet he wears heelys and when he says “by my heel i care not” you can see them lmao

-in that version he also dresses in drag and i love it

-riff from west side story is not technically mercutio but he sings the jet song & cool and i love those songs so hell yeah

-okay i said i wouldn’t talk about versions of retj again but going back to my beloved hungarian version rómeó és júlia the guy who plays mercutio also voices the onceler in the hungarian version of the lorax and if i have to know that so do you

Angel dust made one joke, resulting in the fight being stopped and Cherri being forced to let the battle go, especially since Sir Pentious would leave her terf alone permanently. Only for his son would he do this.

The trick went so far that Pentious actually got to the hotel before the opportunist Alastor.

Due to the fight being stopped in such a sweet manner the news report went may smoother. Peoples opinions shifted, maybe the hotel was reforming Angel Dust, I mean really hes reuniting with his father.

All was going so well, Pentious was funding the hotel and manning it with security. Angel had to rein his emotions a few times but eventually he was warming up to the crew, he was getting protective of them. They were like his eggies, precious and fragile.

It was the moment Angel mentioned his soul contract and abuse that Sir Pentious snapped a bit and hugged Angel close,

"My sssweet son... I'll fix thiss. Dont you worry your precious little head..."

And like that he began crafting with angelic steel. It was intense, the look on his face when he was eating with his crew, his family. Within two days he was ready. He showed off the look of it to angel who was honestly freaked out.

"Hey uh.. Dad ya arent gonna... you wont actually do it right?.. it's dangerous you might get hurt..."

Angel had actually gotten pretty fond of his 'dad', his confidence scared him as he got hugged and watched Pentious go to slaughter the V's like a assassin.

He played it cool.

Then as soon as someone made a fuss he threatened and made it clear what hes there for, it took a simple look of the weapon to make anyone crack.

To be honest most kept it easy, some gladly guided him, hell they begged him to do it.

It felt so good to meet the V's all together and the be seen as a real threat. Vox tried to do something but Pentious had frequency jammers. He got loud at Pentious calling his bluff, which only resulted in a chest shot,

"IM NOT FUCKING AROUND. YOU WILL TAKE ME FUCKING SERIOUSLY, IM GONNA FUCKING KILL EACH ONE OF YOU."

Val couldnt fly, not good but he tried, it only lead to his wings being blown off and most of his back.

Velvette got the idea to call for help but got told shes shit outta luck, they wanted to be free. Her head was quickly blown off.

Pentious slithered to the dying Val who's completely in shock.

"I wanted sssome of your fluff."

The sound of a blade was heard and next thing anyone knew he had his head. Then a feeling washed over Pentious.

"I... I won. I WON. Oh I'm sssso happy!"

He turned off the jammer and the cameras showed the scene to the masses after a few minutes. A employee probably wanted to see what had happened completely forgetting to not broadcast it. Or did they?

The masses saw the mess, they saw Pentious laughing about it, Vals head in hand,

"I MURDERED THE V'sss IM THE SsECOND GREATEST OVERLORD EVER!!! I DONT NEED TO PRETEND TO BE THREATENING ANYMORE!!"

He could finally relax his worries, no more dangers now to him, only peace.

What he didn't consider was how the people seemed to flock around him, worshipping him almost, yeah he owned them now but he expected.. what? He wasnt sure really.

He appointed the workers, his new underlings to just do whatever felt right. Broadcast what they like, make whatever. Oh and he made sure to make the bank accounts and funds of the V's his own. That way he can afford and handle these things.

He felt so... powerful. He was like a king.

"King Cobra sssoundsss good... yeah, king cobra! Hass a ring to it..."

People could finally think again, no more tv hypnosis, no more pain from unwanted sex or being stabbed with needles. Sir Pentious was a hero to them.

Alastor felt a bit threatened and tried to talk to him when he assumed it right but didnt account for the fact he scared the snake and was quickly dead too.

"Oopsss! Oh hehe, well who's gonna care.. no one will know! This meansss I own his soulsss too now... FUCK YEAH IM AWESssOME!!"

He slithered along into the hotel glad to be home, feeling cocky as fuck. He made sure he put the safety on the canon gun and turned it off to avoid another accidental murder.

His family and crew was small he felt. He gave his new power a try, spawning Nifty and Husk and eagerly telling them their new roles and that they really couldn't back out but he wasnt gonna beat them if they were gonna be stubborn. Everyone watched him giggle and play with his powers outside,

"Aw yesss, I'm so powerful!! No drawbacks!"

He was a good leader really, he can do it all. He will do it all. He noted his looked bigger too, more filled out, tail bigger. He could hug his new family with this tail! He had to stim a little and decided it was safe to slowly let loose some power into the air making everything glittery. He couldnt sleep, he was much too energized and high off it all.

Angel dust had to really take in the fact that he started this. Wasnt bad feeling actually. Felt great, he could feel it too. Felt warm and fun. Felt like child to father love.

If took a while, hell- a long time for Simon to get over Sunshines death, it seemed that the crimson blood still tainted his hands from when he first- and last, held the sniper close.

With the new way Ghost was preforming in battle, Price had weighed his options. Ghost had become somewhat sloppy yet affective. Through all the mangled corpses and the wounds inflicted on the grieving man there were obvious deeper intentions than wanting to get the job done.

It seemed that Ghost wanted someone to get their own job done and finish the man killing machine

Luckily some wishes do come true, especially Simons.

He could tell he was dying, with the black spots forming and drowsiness hitting him hard Simons was ready to give in to the sweet release of death. One release that would hopefully lead him back to the one person he could call home.

The leaves were blowing in the crisp autumn air as the soft rain pitter pattered on the window, is what i saw and heard from my makeup chair. I was in Berlin getting ready for for my set at the annual summer festival, even just walking backstage i could tell it was going to be a massive event. The songs i was singing didn't have a performance or dance to go with it. So i wore a simple brown suit with a white blouse underneath with a couple of the button undone with some mary janes.

I was backstage microphone in hand breathing in and out to calm the nerves, i step onto the stage waving at the people in the crowd which was overwhelmingly large. And one took way too much knowledge and like, outside forces, while the other was so ordinary I can't believe I forgot about it. Wally and Dick had been friends for years.

Wally knew Dicks mothers favorite color and his fathers best joke- though it didn't translate as well to English, so Wally knew Romani enough to make Dick feel at home. Wally knew how they died, and how Dick became Robin and why, andandand-

Dick knew Wally had hated superheroes growing up. That it wasn't until the Flash, and discovering it was his Uncle, that Wally even thought about it, that he'd be a hero who saved EVERYONE. Not just the public, but the ones who need it but can't ask. Dick knew Wally didn't like going home, that everyday a number would plague him, that his speed hid his flinches and allowed him a quick escape and time to calm enough to laugh when someone snuck up on him.

He knew that SOMETHING happened to him. When they were younger and just starting out, Wally knew Dick liked doing something with his hands, so he'd let Dick draw along his arms and Dick would let Wally tap his foot as fast as he wanted and glare at anyone who pointed it out.

Wally thinks about his life before the experiment, when he was just a little boy born into a world that didn't think he was enough. He thinks about the sports he was forced into so he could explain away his injuries and to be a man. He thinks he's glad Dick didnt know him then, that he didn't see the weak little worthless boy he'd been.

But he supposes, even superpowers can't change who you are at your core. They can cover it up, hide things away, but who you are rarely changes. Wally knew that now, no matter how many successful missions, or people saved, or good deeds done-

If even his own parents can't stand him, HATE him, if he can't even save himself, how can he think himself worthy enough to be a hero?

"Wally?"

Wally had forgotten what moving through molasses felt like. His speed had saved him so many times and yet now… now it was failing him. He feels it burning within him, matches too close to the fingers holding them, ready to go out at any second, with the flick of a wrist. But Wally has been burned so often… he'll burn with it before he throws it away.

"Wally, look at me, what are- you're bleeding! Let me see, Wally let me see!"

"You drew stars around my scars, made me feel like I had a place, like I was loved and worthy-" he coughs, something warm splatters down his chin, he looks into worried baby blue, "I'm so stupid, I thought I could be a hero, but now I'm bleeding, and I failed. I'm worthless."

"Stop that!" Tears spill over, as his eyes squeeze shut at the shout, "You are not any of those things!!" A sob tears from the bird's chest, and Wally feels the physical stab of it.

He reaches a trembling arm out-T-shirt doing nothing to hide the bruises and scars of years of pain- his fingertips brush Dicks face, catching a tear as it falls.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want you to see me like this. I didn't mean to make you cry."

"I'll yell at you later, when you're not bleeding over everything. Let me see what's wrong." Wally is sure one of the Bat family's powers is being able to pull themselves together in a stressful situation.

Before his eyes, Dick composes himself and focuses solely on what he can do. With tear stains on his face, he steady's his hands as he gets to work on what ails his friend's body.

"What the- Wally what the heck happened??" Dick gives his gushing wound an incredulous stare, having hit his panic button several moments prior he wonders if he should hit it again, because his speedster's not healing, at least not that Dick can see.

Wally gives a humorless laugh, a pitiful look in his eyes,

"Would you believe a pot of coffee did this?" The spiteful tone is directed only to the redhead's self, self hate at large as he thinks of the event again. "Dad was mad. I think he had planned to just like… throw it on me ya know? But I flinched and mom yelled and I don't know… next thing I know there's glass everywhere and blood and I ran but I couldn't run and-" His own sob is choked as he tries to reign it in, his gut protesting the jerk anyway.

Dick stares with wide eyes as a million pieces fall into place, and the dawning of his worst realization in the years they'd known each other hits him hard. For all he knew about Wally, he'd missed the biggest piece of the puzzle.

The Dark Knight lands behind him, a gust of wind announcing the Flash's arrival a second after. Dick is moved, eyes never straying from his friend as his brain processes every sign he wrote off. His hands- covered in his friends blood, there's so much- rise, panic creeping in, he's ready to curl up and never rise-

A hand slides into his, just as slick and tacky as his own and yet so familiar. Blue meets Green- lidded and weak but alive- the hand freckled in sun spots and scars and blood, squeezes his own, a million things but alive enough that Dick is sure he'll be able to get to every single one.

"You are loved, Wally. You are worthy. I'll prove it to you."

the paneling in fights was kinda wild and i couldnt tell what actually killed tink even once i reread the chapter which maybe cheapened his death a bit. like DID waron stab him? I DONT KNOW! I CANT TELL! did he just get done in by two malto goons to protect tludia? fuck if i know. can someone explain

the gilgamesh cast actually ended up growing on me by the end i was ready to scream when it teased hadar dying like three times at the end

and i also like how tludia was characterized later on and her picking up all these habits from ram and listening to a his stories only to later succeed him is aaaaa

the explanation for ram and tludia's Whole Deal is. wack though. "yeah ram exists because of a programming error basically. also last thursday-ism is real." why does it matter that ram tells tludia the world history if the history is fake??? why did tludia's curse flare up BEFORE hinsher got unthawed if hinsher being alive is the catalyst for it?

i GUESS it fits in with the worldbuilding of restrictions and rules as avenues of power. all power comes at a cost in this world and i think it's GREAT worldbuilding and powerscaling but using it to handwave plot beats kinda blows

on that note the worldbuilding around demons is kind of. yikes. i get they're going for a "forever war" thing but. really had to specify that they're all black huh. is this why tek never shows them onscreen? is hwandaeng embarrassed about this now.

it's not as bad as it could be what with the "both sides suck" approach but damn daljan really fucked up by essentially demoting tink for being anti-racist and not explaining that he'd like tink to teach new knights to be less racist. bcuz all tink is gonna walk away with is "knights are racist". daljan. my man.

i keep talking abt tink (love that bitch!) but i do truly love how fucked the concept of Honor got with him. and ruthless ram is in the later part of the comic. tludia criticizes him by asking if tink had any choice. ram says it was his honor and choice to die. but. tink was blackmailed into working for the malto in the first place. he didnt ever have a choice. choosing to die was his only choice. ESPECIALLY HOW WITH TLUDIA'S BACKSTORY WITH KANDENTIA!! it's paralleled with how kandentia criticzes tludia for stealing, but tludia says it's a priviledge to be so rightous!! not everyone can afford honor! are you gonna tell a starving child to stop stealing because its illegal? are you gonna tell a man being blackmailed into criminality to choose the "right" thing?

honor as a priviledge is a fantastic concept to explore

also on that note. ram. looking back on it he Never really gives people a choice. like obviously, his "negotiation" with the fake mushia. once the peaceful option fails, he just starts threatening her. oh, and how his cowardice is repeated - the people he's leaving aren't ever given a choice either, are they? and from the beginning of the plot, too. what choice does tludia have but to trust him when he's the only one who could possibly cure her fatal curse disease????

and in the end tludia's final actual choice is "life forever or die." like. what choice is that even

at least tludia's desire to keep living no matter what is a long established thing so it makes sense for her to do that

wow the story really has like 2 suicides. first ram and then muitin in the bonus stories. hot diggity

kinda mad hadar's sister plotline didn't really get resolved. where'd she go. i get that hadar's resolution to the plotline is that he gives up on looking for her and starts living for himself, since she never wanted him to find her anyway - but it still stings a little

she probably became a knight. she's not legia's sidekick, is she?? they look a little similar. maybe without the lipstick...

also fucking WILD to have tek things recontextualized

like oh these bozos are fron letoon. where stella lived and died. okay!

or going from "i dont care abt tamin" to "TINK'S BROTHER??????"

morbidly hilarious that he ended up becoming solbas' sidekick then. is that why she cares so much about rescuing him in tek? not just a simply need for his two braincells (as she has none), but guilt as well?

tanshirin got so much more fucked up now seeing her in gilgamesh. "tyr's sister. cool 👍" to "hahah. girl what." good on her for becoming a knight though. seeing her with hinsher's hammer in gilgamesh was surreal

also in tek when zius explains the reason the east and west hate each other so much now realizing he was talking about hadar, tink, and hwashran specifically. i hope hadar shows up in tek at some point. just having the guy who Caused The War, Somewhat there would be hilarious. the smug smirk that launched a thousand ships. (hadar is a riot)

speaking of hinsher!!!! her story is the one that made me sob most (only time i cried at this comic was "gnojes the blacksmith" from the side stories). it's just. auhvrhhr. the human equivalent of hachiko. and at the end of the side story where hinsher steps into the workshop and is greeted by those bearing his name i aurghgfhf

it's really well handled how hinsher reacts to the situation. she's devestated, obviously. that moment when she sees ram and sees he's unchanged and asks him how long it's been but of course he's IMMORTAL but she doesn't know that so she thinks it's been no time at all but it was 500 years i'm. i'm fine

and just like everythinggggg and how she eventually copes by imagining gnojes managed to be happy without her. maybe he found someone else. the conflict of longing and desolation at hearing the name of gnojes continues, but then - he never had any children. he never married. he waited for her.

and how hinsher just. she regrets leaving gnojes. she regrets being trapped. she doesn't regret trying to save strangers. because that is her knight's honor. and she does it again, protecting tludia and nephren in the final arc,,,, don't talk to me

AND THEN THE SIDE STORY SHOWS. GNOJES NEVER GAVE UP LOOKING FOR HER. BUT HE FOUND HAPPINESS AGAIN, TOO. in his work. with the children he adopted. he died of old age surrounded by people he loved, who loved him too. but he never stopped missing her. and she'll never stop grieving him

the tragedy is just fucking DELICIOUS okay

do also love how the side stories show that ram is an unreliable narrator. it's really neat to see characters picked up and fleshed out without his viewpoint. like the fuckin plot twist that it was depression era ram who killed suldin and not tisalle. but ram only heard "suldin was killed by his apprentice" and didn't remember doing it, so he assumed tisalle did it. and then killed tisalle for it. fucked up 👍

what more was i saying

waron is way more fucked up than i thought but zius describes her as "predictably unpredictable" so she's just always been like this. how the fuck did the knights reign her in again. kandentia probably kicked her ass and now she just wants to brawl with zius now that her main target is dead. she's fantastic and i love her. she knows EXACTLY what she wants.

the general theme of self sacrifice and making yourself the villain to help others both with ram's actions and the demon knight backstory and waron's short story on how she hates knights kinda makes me think she also does this to establish that not all knights are just? after all, honor is individual, and not all honor will be "good", with waron as a prime example

did she ask nagyunn how he'd kill her just to figure out if he'd be fun to fight

that is. all my thoughts on gilgamesh i can remember at the moment. this post is long and messy but such is customary for me 👍

once again i think gilgamesh is hampered by the early chapters trying to hard to be comedic. once it settles on a tone and as the art improves i started enjoying it way more but with how frontloaded the flashbacks are (even if they pay off in full later!) i definetly wouldn't have been nearly as invested if it weren't for me reading tek first. tek just has a better plot hook with a character with a set goal and a plan to achieve it, whereas the beginning of gilgamesh kinda meanders as the crew sets out to unlock ram's memories, which doesn't really end up significantly changing ram, even. the beginning is too largely incidental to me so tink n the malto as concrete antagonists to outwit and overcome def helped that.

but also the ending feels just. messy. here is god to give us exposition. everything you did was useless. ram's pivot into ending the world suddenly, even if it's to draw out god(?), feels much too abrupt. yes he had the report about tludia and hinsher being somehow connected, and i did find it odd she could understand hadar without using sign language, but that foreshadowing really wasn't enough to even conceive what his plan was, especially since his talk with the fake mushia leaves out the dialogue where he actually gets her to agree. and then it also cuts out the final words tludia gives to ram before he jumps off the cliff.

to be fair tek ALSO does this a lot but it p much is always dialogue that would've been boring and is brought up only when relevant, with the general sense of "i guess they could've talked about this at that point." (main way tek blows it is with jiroon, imo - like, put the scene with nagyunn encouraging her before her death, maybe? so we're not just invested in her in-post? flashbacks work with tink because he already had plenty of build up before dying, and additional context just expands on what we already knew about him. i digress.)

and then the malto mooks who attack tludia and co are literally unnamed and faceless. it would've already been better if pavrin was the one to betray mushia. it was. just some fucking guy! okay!

tldr abt the ending: i dont really get it ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ the midpoint of the comic feels best to me writing wise. overall i enjoyed it though, even if i still like tek more.

dang, now i should totally reread tek for a fourth time, just so i can pick up on every detail gilgamesh expands on or recontextualizes.

like some of these r just for fun (like why daljan is so important to kandentia, since both of them are rather minor characters in tek), and others r kinda bonkers (the dragon has lost some of his mystique now that nephren exists to me)

Betrayal and guilt for van, torture and wound for anim and javier

betrayal: definitely yes, with jude. like, the betrayal took everything from him literally everything and everyone in his life. his possessions his friends his organization. but he also loved jude and trusted him so so much and it definitely added salt into the wound. if someone else had betrayed him he wouldve just been pissed and tried to escape his imprisonment but because it was jude he was just thrown into a horrible depression where he was just ready to give up and let himself be executed. van had a lot of surface level friends but he never had anyone he trusted or cared about the way he trusted jude, and hes never loved anyone before, so it really fucked him up.

on the other hand, he did betray bluestone obviously lol. im sure a lot of his coworkers and superiors were very pissed and hurt about what he did which leads to the next

guilt: he really doesnt feel any. every evil deed he commits is justified in his mind as "they deserve it" or "its only fair because im hurting too". he felt like, a normal about of guilt as a kid but since then he really hasnt felt any

torture: so, for anim im not technically sure? in canon, i think harper did sexual torture with them as a part of bdsm, which they didnt really like. in the free bird au where things get a LOT darker and they end up killing him, he does definitely full on torture them. as much of a masochist they are it feels like the sort of thing that would be too much for them. and they wouldnt really torture anyone, when they kill they try to make it quick.

javier hasnt been tortured, like physically. theres the standard mental torture of the Horrors of being in an abusive relationship but he hasnt been traditionally tortured. but, would he torture someone? YES. if they really deserved it. like, if he had the chance he would torture harper. 100%. with his mother it feels different because he has more conflicting feelings there but if he could torture harper he absolutely would. its neat because hes such a calm and kind guy but he finds out the kind of person harper is and actively starts fantasizing about what hed do if he met him. hes kinda silly

wound: anims been wounded in all kinds of ways. they deal with emotional wounds by doing really impulsive and shitty coping mechanisms as a means of distraction. they dont give themself any time to heal and just tries to force themself to move on. this kind of works for physical wounds as well, where theyre impatient to get back on their feet and it causes them to not recover well. their worst physical wound was getting stabbed in the gut and their worst emotional wound was from harper

javier hasnt dealt with a ton of physical wounds, but he would deal with them in the same way he does emotional ones, which is just slinking off like a wounded animal. when hes killed, he just dies on the spot, but i think if he survived for a little longer he would just crawl away to die alone and not devastate his loved ones. his last thought being to spare them of any pain.

but emotionally he is pretty similar. just shuts himself off from everyone because he doesnt want them to see him at his worst. he knows to give himself time to grieve and heal but he doesnt let anyone in during the process. his worst emotional wound would probably be from the ending of his engagement

How do you think AFO and the AFO vestige feel about Izuku? Do you think he loves him as much as he does his brother? Hypothetically, if AFO does succeed with taking OFA from Izuku, what would he even do with him afterwards? Physical AFO showed no indication of wanting to kill Izuku while the AFO vestige has been bent on injuring him like the quirk arriving tendrils, talking my about breaking his spine, and activating Izuku's danger sense. Even if/when the dad for one theory comes true, what are AFO's real feelings towards Izuku?

I think afo/hisashi deeply loves izuku similar how he did for yoichi. But remember despite that afo deeply loved his brother he was willing to hurt him too. He allowed his bodyguard to push yoichi hard to the ground and hold him there, he locked him into a vault, he let yoichi starve himself, he forced a quirk into him against his will. Afo loved his brother so much, that he was ready to hurt him as an means to an end. To make it impossible for yoichi to leave him, to make yoichi dependend on him, to make sure he will never lose him. Afos love is toxic and fucked up, but its still love, just not the way a person should feel for someone else. Love is not always rainbows and unicorns, it can be REALLY ugly and messed up! And I believe he is ready to be that hard to izuku too, because right now afo needs to get ofa out of izuku under all costs. The thing is, afo gave izuku multible warnings in the past ("you choose yourself a thorny path"), tried to tire him out physically and emotional, tried to lure him away from his friends, tried to manipulate him and still tries to show him how fucked up hero society is. Afo is trying to open izukus eyes like he did once with yoichi and that only his way is the right one, but of course izuku doesnt listen and has no reason to. Afo wants izuku to understand his view and wants him on his side!

When you compare the real afo and the vestige, you will realize that the vestige is far more full of malice and brutal, not only to izuku but in generell and also way more controlling. And while the afo vestige is far more willing to use hard methods on izuku then the real one, nothing of it ever was meant to harm him really bad. Remember when afo inside tomura tried to stab izuku with his black tendrills but bakugou pushed him out of the way? Where did the tendrills stab through bakugous body? His shoulder and his far side, in other words nowhere near an important organ or main artery. And on top bakugou managed to recover from that injury incredible FAST. It was an attack meant to make izuku incapacitated im the moment. So he wouldnt be able to fight any longer. It was an non letal attack on purpose. Or when afo pushed izuku away with AIR CANNON! His most powerful and most destructive attack. He needed ONE shot to destroy kamino with it and injured the pro heroes there so bad with just one blow, that not one of them was able to stand up again. He pierced one of best jeanist lungs with it and almost killed him with that. And what did THIS very attack which one shooted dotzens of perfectly healthy pro heroes to an injured and physical and emotional tiered out izuku? NOTHING! Absolutely nothing! It pushed him several meters away, but izuku had not ONE more scratch on him. But instead AFOS (well tomuras) hand startet bleeding! Because afo did hold the true deadly power of the attack back to not injure izuku even more then he already was.

Same goes with afomuras comment about breaking his spine. In the world of mha breaking a spine can be healed and you can recover from that. Breaking his spine means izuku wouldnt be able to move anymore. He wouldnt be able to fight any longer. He wouldnt be able to stop afomura forcing ofa out of him. If afomura actually wants or plans to kill izuku afterward, he would have said so at this point. He didnt hold back to tell bakugou to die. If he really wants to kill someone, he makes that 100% clear. Not ONCE did afo OR afomura ever say that they want to see izuku dead or plan to kill him. Even when allmight asks afo in tartarus if he plans for tomura to kill izuku, afo COMPLETLY avoids answering the question and changes the topic. He doesnt want to kill him and thats a big deal if we consider that afo never showed any kind of mercy to one of the past ofa users.

Also its important to note that afomura is NEITHER afo or tomura right now. He is a completly new person. But he stores the emotions of both inside himself. When he was fighting against bakugou it was afos hate he felt not his own, he even notices how he doesnt understand where this hate is comming from. When izukus danger sense activated it was tomuras ill will he felt not afos. Danger sense has never activated yet because of the real afo, only to afomura and I mean come one, he was REALLY PISSED at that moment. He was about to lose the fight.

About the question what afo plans with izuku after he steals ofa are: vault time. Maybe not in the same fashion how he did it with yoichi, but still making it impossible for izuku to fight him. And I think inko is the key to that. Afo asked the aoyamas to bring the 40 year old macallan (inko) to him, but they only could bring the 16 year old macallan (izuku) to him. Afo asked for inko first! Thats important! And right now there are afos spies inside ua who have seen izuku and inko together. The male spy even gives an evil grin when he sees izuku and inko hugging each other. They know what izukus mother looks like, know his biggest weakness, the person he loves the most in the world and in the latest chapter there is a small flashback of afo and skepsis talking with each other and the spies listen to skepsis orders who gets his orders from afo. Inko will be kidnapped very soon. And thats how afo will "vault" izuku. By kidnapping his mother and forcing izuku to listen to him, to give him (and us readers) his side of the story and why he is doing what he does plus incomming past flashbacks of him and yoichi.

personality

his personality is eh bad at best. He will be very rude to any one (Incudling people of higher power), if  said person ever happen to insult or question his work. Depending on the person he is arguing with he is willing to fight despite being clearly weaker (When i mean depending i mean mostly anyone that akuma knows wouldent behead him the moment he shoves/push).

When he isnnt  rude to people you can tell his ego is deeper then hell it’s self as . Even if the other person is better then him. He still finds way to be better in a small way or a big way!.

But also his ego  can easily be broken so if he even assume you insulting him get ready to be yelled at and insulted.

Like some demons he can and will cry but you need to do certain things to make him do so!.

For example any higher ups then him calling him useless,Good for nothing,failure,Waste of a life,disgrace or anything related to it. He will cry  and even try to insult you back but at that point he is going flee so dont expect to hear back from him for a long while! (beside muzan, akuma is too afraid to ignore muzan commands to meet him face to face)

Akuma also stubborn, very stubborn. But he isnt that dumb if he knows he going to lose a fight he will spare the embrassment of losing my fleeing. He will hold grudges until he feel like he got his justice on said person, you hardly will see a moment  of akuma being a nice to a another demon (Cause in his mind anything of kindness is weakness). 

But in the rare chances you do, you can tell he is trying to be nice to said person (usally friends or preferred person) by  attempting to behave and control his anger near then and wont be as loud when arguing with said person, And MAYBE allow to be insulted sightly (But just be aware, some insults can hurt more than others and will/can worry your friendship with said person)

And in some cases  if he trusts you enough to not abuse/backstab his weakness, he will be more weak towards said lucky person for example, He will show more emotion beside anger.he come for you for advice or opinions on matters he doesnt care/ doesnt understand well enough to  really take time to consider. Treat him how he wants to be treated and You have a semi asshole demon as a friend.

Also of course like any demon he has fears.. He is afraid of dying weak and pathic, failling to do something,dying,being backed stab by anyone he trusts and being hurt badly by his food (which is why he targets certain people.)He targets  new/hurt  demon slayers or unattend childern 

Also for fun i tell yall how you can embarrassed akuma, calling out his bluffs,saying something he didnt expected (Doesnt even need to be nsfw, his mind will need to restart and figure out how to respond),showing akuma that he can do a certain thing better than him, copying his amount of any emotion,suffering any consequences in pubic,getting him off guard (50/50 chance of him yellings at you or just make him embarrassed), failing at doing something infront of someone (ex hunting a demon slayer and they got away/ managed to fight akuma away from them as somone same or higher rank watches him fail)

The blood demon art is self pretty much affects swordsmen who are weaker and ones that second think of beheading akuma but  it has hard time effecting harder opponents only at most surprise them at best and the small amount of time akuma healing is speed up he will lose some energy

This blood demon art allows akuma to mimck voices of people he ate (ex man,woman,child) and is usally used to lure  unsuspecting  weak swordsmen or folks who happen to hear the voices of the distress kid,man or woman nearby

The weakness of mimicking waves is the unpredictable chance of  attracting strong swordsmen  towards the voices he mimcks  and making  akuma easy to locate in busy areas as if akuma panics when mimicking you can hear the voice breaking and cracking out of character of a preassumed man,woman or child 

Water hideaways

The blood demon art is a combtion of offense and defense, it has ability to manifest a water puddle it allows travel underground hence allowing Akuma to escape or heal underground Additionally, the emergence of betta fishes from the puddle to defend and attack nearby threats 

Water hideaways weakness

The Water hideaways weaknness is that The betta fishes themselves are easily defeated  if put in enough effort Furthermore, the energy-draining nature of maintaining the water puddle limits its duration, making it suitable only for life-or-death scenarios. 

Additionally, Akuma's need to surface   at random intervals when the betta fishes are being defeated easily and akumas needed to take charge and level out the field   making  them vulnerable during these moment .

Aqua Blades

This blood demon art allows akuma to solidify summoud water making them into blades These blades can be controlled if akumas  pays attention to the blades form

Aqua Blades weakness 

The Aqua Blades weakness is it is needed get close to the swordsmen which has many risk and depending on the opponent it will put them  themselves in a vulnerable position. And it has the  increases the likelihood of being counterattacked or overpowered by opponents who may have superior strength or weaponry.

Omg thank you for this question. Much to unpack with these guys in all directions. Not sure where to start so I'll go hawke by hawke i guess (this post got so long so I'm putting it beneath the cut lol)

Caleb - GOD OKAY. caleb is my canon hawke so i have the most thoughts about him so this is about to be a mile long. caleb has a massive eldest daughter but a boy complex that primarily dates back to an incident as a child where he blames himself for his father almost being caught by the templars, but also only been reinforced over the years of trying to protect bethany and then stepping up as basically the head of the family after Malcolm died. i know Malcolm is supposed to have the same basic personality as hawke but my Malcolm in all worldstates except camillas (will get into that later) primarily has the blue/green personality and is like. a generally pretty upstanding guy who didn't want this life for his children but also knew there wasn't really any choice if he and his children were going to be free. he didnt want to raise his sweet eldest son to feel like he needed to be Protector of the Family but like. what else was he going to do. if Malcolm died or got captured by templars someone had to be ready for that. and as a result caleb has always kind of hero-worshipped his father and is constantly measuring himself against what he feels like Malcolm would have wanted him to do.

and that extends into caleb's messy relationship with carver, because if Malcolm saw caleb as his replacement, then caleb saw carver as his. and in a lot of ways it makes sense he expected the same from carver that he did from himself: they're both boys, both non-mages, both two-handed warriors, I even hc they both take after the hawke side of the family physically while beth takes after the amell side. but caleb expecting so much out of carver also makes carver resent him, and when carver tries to confide in him about how much he hates having their lives defined by magic, caleb takes it as like a personal betrayal against the family and doesn't want to engage with it. (also the girl carver had a crush on had a crush on caleb which was so unfair and unbearable for poor carver). it's not like he's mean to carver or anything, but he's definitely not understanding in the way he could be and this isn't something that hits until carver dies. which sucks and is something he's going to feel guilty about forever :/

he has the pretty typical hawke relationship with leandra i think. he wants his mom to like him and he knows she loves him but. its hard sometimes. leandra is hard to deal with and when she's disappointed in him it's another reflection of the way he feels like he's failing his father. and then BETHANY he loves bethany and by the end of things she's the only family he has left. after a lifetime of doing everything to protect her seeing her become a grey warden is honestly agonizing bc she's so miserable and there's nothing he can do about it but it gives bethany the space to work through her negative feelings about all she's been through and i ultimately think she comes out better for it

catherine - my og hawke :) i think her dynamic with Malcolm and leandra wasn't unlike calebs but just wayyyyy less intense bc catherine is simply less inclined to take things So Fucking Personally. from an early age she learned sometimes you have to stab some guys to protect your family and its fine. that's just how it is. i don't think she and carver were super close but they had a pretty classic older/younger sibling relationship. they loved each other and bickered and cat never took carver's shit too seriously bc he was her dumb kid brother. catherine was also really protective of beth tho and when she went to the circle and then liked it there she took it PERSONALLY. bethany is actually probably her most fucked up and strained relationship in her family and out of all her companions. she loves her sister she would do anything for her but she also feels unbelievably betrayed that bethany is happy in a place she worked so hard to protect her from. they work it out eventually but i genuinely don't think they're on speaking terms for like another 5-10 years post da2

cassian - cassian hawke love of my life is a huge sweetheart but is frankly pretty self absorbed at the beginning of his story and really just did Not internalize any of the family pressure my other hawkes did. he's a talented mage who took malcolm's instruction seriously and is very nice to his mom and so managed to get through his whole childhood with a very nice relationship with his parents. i think he and bethany had a pretty solid relationship but were never close despite being honestly very similar people in many ways. the carver relationship was TENSE bc carver was wildly jealous of cassian (cassian is nice in a way that makes everyone like him, he's better looking so the girls all had crushes on him, he was always in good shape despite not needing to be as a mage, he got more attention from their father because he was mage, he was even just naturally good at magic and Malcolm was always commenting on it) and cassian just never really got why carver acted the way he did with him. their relationship does actually improve as its put through the test in kirkwall too (and as cassian gains more perspective on the world and has his arc) and they end the game friends

calliope - rebellious streak a mile wide. she never did blood magic while Malcolm was alive but she was always asking questions pushing the boundaries of what she was allowed to do and it worried the shit out of him. she was good though, and their relationship was overall positive, but he was always warning her about the consequences of going too far. i don't think leandra was as attuned to that honestly, and it wasn't something Malcolm ever brought up to her because he didn't want to worry her. calliope was always pushing back against leandra and challenging her when she felt like she was wrong but at their core they both had a lot of love for each other. and cal LOVED bethany. would have and probably did kill for bethany. and bethany loved calliope a lot albeit in a "that's my crazy older sister” kind of way and was terrified when she realized she had started doing blood magic. that caused some fighting between them but honestly cal just never took bethany's objections particularly seriously. the carver relationship is more complicated bc they never got along and calliope was such a bitchy older sister to him. and carver knew EXACTLY what cal was even if he wouldn't say it. frankly cannot rlly blame him for joining the templars. there is still a lot of love there though, and as much as they might fight with each other they wouldn't hesitate to defend the other if they were in danger

camilla - PLAY DADDY LESSONS BY BEYONCE. so malcolm in this worldstate had the red personality just like his daughter and also had the same expectations for camilla that caleb internalized just. more intensely. my read of Malcolm (in all world states) is that despite being an apostate he still has a very conventional circle educated philosophy of magic and (in this worldstate) i think impressed hard on bethany, as well as carver and cam, the importance of highly disciplined magic, the importance of being an exceptional mage who didn't make mistakes lest the results be dire). this translated into cam being pretty brutal when it came to protecting her family but also having a very critical outlook on mages despite coming from a family of apostates. she loved and admired her father for being a strong, disciplined man, and also hated him sometimes too for condemning them to a life on the run. she wanted her mother to love her soooo bad and I'm sure she did but leandra just never responded to her intense, easily angered daughter as well as she did to sweet little bethany. cam got along with both her siblings like. fine. growing up. they fought sometimes, they played sometimes, she wasn't particularly close with either as teens. carver's death is hard on her, but not like leandra's is years later. she finally gets the validation she always wanted from her mother at the moment of her death and its AWFUL. it sends her down a spiral -- leandra was killed by blood mages, who camilla has always hated, and of course she finds orsino's note in quentin's lair. the circle is complicit in blood magic, probably all the mages around her are as well. they all as good as killed her mother. she and bethany almost patch things up in the legacy quest, but when orsino uses blood magic in the final battle, camilla is certain that bethany is a blood mage too and has betrayed their mother, betrayed their father, betrayed her too and lets Meredith kill her. yoinks

now this is something ive been thinking about a lot today (since i want to write a drabble about xerneas saving her sometime during my weekend (brain permitting)) and ive narrowed it down to some ideas. one of which i am. not sure about because i dont know if it's too brutal or not?? and the other is just. i dont know if it makes any sense but we try!

one is that, maybe by the time xerneas discovered her, it wasn't feasible anymore. it wasn't multiple days though, and probably not even a few hours before they did find her. maybe an hour at the absolute most which would honestly be fine since iirc limb reattachment is usually successful as long as its within 4-8 hours?? or it may have been MORE taxing on xerneas to do this than to create her new arms, given xerneas used part of their own body/essence for it. or even maybe xerneas was SO focused on just. saving her (and repaying their debt bc the fae king being in debt to someone is :/). that they didn't even notice, especially given she was literal moments from death before xerneas arrived.

the other more fucked up option that i hate (but think is cool) is that they were taken as 'trophies' or as proof of her 'death', so xerneas had to create false arms for her instead. because imagine youre in this horrific war. and your enemy has this miracle healer that can heal both people and pokemon. that guy you stabbed in the stomach yesterday? guess what! he's back and he's fully healed. and he's ready to get your ass. AND he can be as reckless as he wants because as long as you dont actually kill him, he will be healed. and he will be back, again. and again. so having some sort of proof of this healer being dead, or at least proof she's unable to use her healing anymore... the morale boost would be HUGE, especially when high morale is incredibly important in a war when you're constantly risking your life and never know what day may be your last.
