Hello! Sorry if this has already been asked, but for the Deity AU: What's the storyline? Like when do certain things (that you are comfortable with sharing) transpire? I'm kinda new, so I'm just trying to find out what I can to catch up to everyone else who has been here. Aiden is the son of a chief/king? He wants to grow up and be as revered as his father. His friend of childhood is from a rival place and his name is Dante.

Aiden is trans and his dad doesnt really have faith but thanks to his mom and Frank (who he meets as a kid) he gets trained up and finally accepted in to the army.

Aiden and Dante find out their homes are at war and are like “nooo dont fight haha” and their parents are like “yea? Political marriage” and theyre like “shit”

So they become engaged, Dante has a small crush on Aiden so hes not that mad, Aiden doesnt want it. Their parents still plan to fight but in a backstab way.

Dad needs a right hand man, doesnt choose Aiden, chooses his rival but soon to be best friend (I dont have a name yet for them).

They go to war, Aidens dad tells him “lol go kill Dante while I kill the dad” Aiden gets told by deity same thing. To kill Dante or blood will be shed from his home. Aiden is about to, cant go through with it. Dante doesnt know.

They still win the battle, marriage is obviously called off. Aidens dad gets help from a witch to head home while Aiden meets Barnaby and gets help handling the witch (her name is Willow).

Dad and Frank get into an argument lmao. Frank is like “I pseudo raised your kid” and dad is like “nuh uh” dad does NOT know hes arguing with a deity. Aiden adult at this point.

Aiden meets Wally. Wally meets his parents and they bond a bit before he leaves after I think a week? Month? Dont remember. Aiden is big sad, bro misses him even tho he almost killed him.

Mom proud of the warrior Aiden became.

Another battle at war. Aiden is finally given the chance to lead a team. Blinds Dantes brother who is a tyrant. Frank and Aiden argue about leaving the guy alive.

Aiden meets Cloud god (lmao)

Dantes dad kills Aidens dad. Best friend saves the remaining crew by getting them tf out of there. They also found out Dantes brother was also killed but Aiden doesnt know if that was his fault.

Aiden meets Mathew after going through Eddies sacred lands or spirits and memory. Finds out mom died too. Aiden says fuck it Im going to be brutal with everyone.

Kills Dantes dad.

Taking care of Camila , his lil sis, and meets Wally again. Lovey lovey again.

Frank is like “bro nah thats a god youre a mortal” Aiden is like “you right” and tries to break up with Wally but Wally is like “Wait no, fuck the rules” and Aiden is like “…touché”

Aiden proposes, they marry

Maybe a kid? Debating.

Dante has a kid.

Dante sends assassins, Aiden kills them. Brutal with his opponents. Sacrifices his men. Goes through mutiny. Howdy like “lol death to your crew”. Best friend dies but also finds out that friend is who killed Dantes blinded brother which led to Aidens dads death.

Aiden tries to break off with Wally again because of everything hes been through he doesnt want that for Wally. Wally is like “Calm down—“

Lovey lovey

Dante has a dream of killing Aiden. Gets his crew for a strike.

Kills Aiden. Aiden says goodbye to his sister as shes taken away to safety as his home burns.

Wally grieving when he finds out

Kills Dante

Camila (adult now) comes back and calms Wally down. Befriends him.

Camila dies of old age.

Wally is learning to deal with grief.

Meets Aiden again as reincarnation.

Continues to love him through reincarnation and reincarnation.

greetings! howdy! hello! i am alive! i cannot express how much i appreciate everyone's messages and comments over the last few weeks :) i'm going to start responding over the next few days - promise!

i think i've been nervous to come back because i feel really bad i haven't finished my sukuna fic. to be completely honest, i'm having a bit of writer's block with it, so i don't have a timeframe of when the last chapter will be up. i hope no one is too disappointed.

A/N: Howdy anon. I'll have you know that I literally started going "hehehehe-" reading this request. I was absolutely thrilled to write this. It turned more into Muerte defending a reader from unwanted advances but I hope it still works? I'm sorry it took so long to finish your request. Thank you for your patience and for sending in a request! Also I did finish writing the last part late at night without my glasses on, so please yell at me if there are typos/glaring obvious errors.

Wandering the world alone isn’t very fun, especially if you’re immortal. An immortal’s life is spent drifting around like a ship on the sea, drawn towards each and every light on the distant shore. But all of those sparks of light eventually begin to blur into a hazy glow with no real distinctive source, and in the end, there is no real home for you to sail back to.

What makes it worse for you is the fact that you were a wolf, an immortal wolf that dozens have tried to kill and failed to do, an immortal wolf that people couldn’t help but fear, just a little, even though you really meant no harm.Who’s to say those little lights on the distant shore were not just torches accompanied by pitchforks, ready to drive you out of town? Wolves are social creatures, but you had no one to talk to, and no one to wander with.

That is, until you met Death.

It was after another attempt at your life. People didn’t seem to get the message that you literally could not die. Any attempt to end your life was fruitless. But that didn’t stop them from trying. You survived like always, and there in front of you, as you wiped away the dirt from your muzzle, was Death.

Initially, you thought that the wolf would resent you. He could watch you get hurt, beaten, and bruised over and over and over again. But he could never see you die. He could never collect your soul. He could never take you to the spirit world. You were invulnerable to him and his silver sickles.

But to your surprise, he asked you to walk with him. He helped you find what you needed to heal your body, silent and solemn, and set you off on your way. But you saw him more frequently, even when you weren’t being hunted down with a bounty on your head. And over time, you grew used to each other’s presences. You recognized each other from a distance and every so often, would fall into conversation.

And though you two kept away from those lights on the distant shore, each conversation you had with Death felt like a lantern being lit on your ship. With each conversation, you felt your eternal life come alive with color and distinction. You never had to fear Death, but you could fall in love with him.

So when he asked if you thought it was possible for Death to be in love with someone, you hesitated.

“Maybe? I don’t know.” You picked up the drink you had ordered, spinning the cup and not letting a drop spill. The cantina the two of you were sitting in was busy, but few people paid you any mind, more focused on their drinks and food. It also helped that the two of you wore your hoods inside. It was temporary refuge and peace. You glanced at the wolf sitting next to you from the corner of your eye. “Death being in love…Are we talking about death, the concept or Death, the…you?”

He flashed his pointed teeth with a slight tilt of his head. “Either, or.”

“I’d give it a solid maybe for both.”

“That’s a paradox, lobito,” the wolf chuckled, taking a sip of his own drink. “ ‘Maybe’s can’t be solid.” You couldn’t help but laugh a little too, still spinning your cup.

“Death being fond of an immortal like me sounds a bit strange to me, you know.”

“I never said it was you.” He recoiled at the sharpness of his own words. You felt your heart sink. Death placed both paws around his glass so tightly thought he might break it. “But…it’s not every day you meet another immortal talking wolf.”

“Yeah, what are the odds, right?” A drop of your drink spilled onto the bartop. You wiped it away with your paw. And someone placed their hand on top of yours. You looked up.

A grizzled beard covered most of the man’s face, but charming black eyes leered back at you. “ ‘ello there, pretty.”

“Don’t call me that,” you snapped, a slight edge to your voice as you quickly drew back your paw. Please don’t try to kill me. Not here. Not now. Not next to him.

“What? You should be thanking me. I figure a wolf like youse hasn’t gotten many compliments before, eh?”

You blinked. Was this guy serious? You shook your head, downing the rest of your drink in one go. “I get plenty. They call me the Unkillable Beast.”

The man guffawed, sitting in the empty stool next to you. “Seems to me you’ve got a pretty twisted idea of what a compliment is.” He moved his seat closer, leaning uncomfortably close. “I can call you all sorts of pretty names, little beastie.”

Something slammed next to you and the bar went silent. Death had drawn one of his sickles, slamming it into the bartop. The wood had splintered, and reflecting the wood in the candlelight, the sickles seemed to gleam a rusty red. Like dried blood.

“We were just having a friendly little chat. Now, I don’t want any trouble. But,” the man sneered, pointing at the sickle, “You don’t bring farm tools to a bar fight. What poor chap did you nick those off anyway?”

You felt a cold but firm paw on your shoulder. Now, Death was horribly close. You could hear a low growling from his throat. “They’re mine. Always have been. Since the beginning.”

“Come out with that thing in hand, eh?” the grizzled man cackled.

“You could say that.”

You didn’t see him move. You just felt it. The release of weight from your shoulder. A slight cool wisp of air. The flap of cloth. The quiet shing of a drawn weapon. 

The man leaned half out of his seat, the tip of the sickle pressed beneath his chin. Within seconds, his breathing became hoarse and ragged. Death’s eyes flashed with a devious spark.

“Muerte,” you hissed, tugging on his poncho.

He ignored you, licking his muzzle. “Life flashing before your eyes, amigo?” The man gulped, nodding furiously. “Good. I want you to look back through it and think of all the unwanted advances you’ve made, all the people you’ve made feel uneasy, while all the people who hold them dear either are unaware or have to watch, unable to speak. Is that a life you want to see before you die?”

“I don’t want to die,” he whispered breathlessly, “I don’t want to die. Not like this. Not now.”

“Do you regret it?” The wolf pressed, leaning over you to get closer. “Do you regret what you did?”

“Yes, yes, please don’t kill me, please don’t kill me, please, please.”

 With a relaxed smile, the wolf quickly sheathed his sickle and sat back down at his seat. He held your paw tightly in his, leaving the man to catch his breath. Nonchalantly, he ordered another drink for you. His eyes widened when the man still sat at his seat, blubbering a little and clutching at his chest. Death leaned back over and quietly said, “Run.”

The man leapt up from his seat and was out of the bar in the blink of an eye. “You really didn’t have to do that,” you murmured as he slid your new drink to you.

“Nonsense. You paid for my drink last time.”

“You know what I was talking about, Muerte.”

“What else was I supposed to do when the wolf I’m in love with is getting hit on? And when they’re clearly very uncomfortable.” You blinked rapidly as he took another sip of his drink. He swept the wood splinters to the floor. “Besides, that man deserved to have a lesson taught to him.”

“You’re in love with me?”

“Was it not obvious before?” he teased in mock disbelief. “I thought it was obvious by the third time we went to a bar together. And all the pet names, lobito.”

Your tail was wagging now. Dammit. Well, why not take him down with you? You kissed him on the nose, quick and chaste. “Well, I suppose I can say I love Death, even though I can’t really die.”

“Really now?” You peeked down and his tag was wagging furiously. He made lame attempts to stop it, refusing to break eye contact with you when you looked back up. The grin on his face was infectious.

You grinned. “Really. I love you.”

You cursed, “Well I’m fucking sorry that i just wanted to have a laugh every once and a while”. “Well it not every once and i while, ITS EVERY FRICKING DAY”. Howdy was getting realy annoyed at this point, like, REALLY annoyed. He felt bad for yelling but he had to say something. “Listen y/n, im sorry for yelling but, you need to calm down for a bit”. Howdy stated trying to calm himself down. “Listen Y/n i gotta go, I’ve got “Wally” stealing apples again”.

Tears prickled your eyes as you placed the phone back down. A small stream of tears came down as the hiccuped slightly. You got up off the chair you where sitting on and headed to your room. You then brought out a small F/c box, opened it and grabbed a F/c pacifier. You then slipped it into your mouth and grabbed a small bee stuffy and hugged it tight. You lay on the floor silently crying yourself to sleep.

“Hello Poppy”. ”Hello dear, say, have you heard from Y/n lately, they haven’t done there “daily” prank call for a week”. Poppy states sounding quite concerned. No matter what the person has done, she will alway be concerned if something is off. “I mean, I did kinda go off on them before about the pranks”. Howdy rubs his neck while putting some fruits away. “WHAT! You know how sensitive they are”. “Yeah but-”. “No buts. You better go over to Y/n’s house and apologize to Y/n”. Poppy demands. “I- yes ma'am”.

Howdy finishes closing the shop and heads to Y/n’s house. “Now to see if Y/n is still alive”. He walks up to your door and knocks. “Y/n? Hay uuu- sorry about earlier, but, I just wanted to check up on you since, you haven't done any pranks”. “Well I guess your busy right now, I'll come back later tomorrow”. *glass shatters from inside*. There's a slight cry coming from inside. ”Y/N”!! Howdy yells opening the door. “Everything ok-”? Howdy says with wide eyes. He sees you curled up on the kitchen floor crying and panicking while there seems to be a glass jar shattered. “Hay, hey, it's just an accident, you ok”. Howdy says in a very calm tone pushing the glass out of the way. “Y/n please look at me”. You look up at Howdy with tears streaming down your face hiccuping. Howdy is at shock by seeing you sucking on a (F/c) pacifier but then calms down when he realizes that you're a little. “Hay bud, can you tell me how old you are”. Just by hearing him realize that your little you kinda calmed down. *You hold up 2 fingers*. “Aww your so little”. Howdy picks you up and cradles you in his arms. He starts walking to your living room and sits down on the couch. The tears start to stop so all you guys are are small sniffles. “I'm sorry about last week, I was having a bad day and I really didn't mean to take it out on you, do you forgive me”. Howdy looks down to see filing with the paci clip. “Non-verbal”? *you shake your head yes as You slowly close your eyes*. “Awww, sleepy little one”. After a minute or two he hears small quiet snores coming from you. “good night little one, sleep well.”

I don't know what the general opinion is, but I consider Niles a good catch. Of all the men featured in the series, I think he's the most dateable. He's a gentleman when he wants to be and a romantic when he wants to be, gee the man has rare aspects to find nowadays. (A big difference from Maxwell)

I'm usually shy about this topic, because it's rare to find like-minded people. Glad to know I'm not the only one. I must have some drafts of this theme lying around, but if the public is willing to read it, I'll bring them back. (i am not afraid of the truth, lol)

Now, Do I know of any 'Niles x reader' writings? maybe.

Everything was going on smoothly. Life was good, you were there and she was happy. You two loved each other so much it made the kids wonder and hope for a love like yours, and it made the elders pleased to see someone of their family so happy.

You were a ray of sunshine, your cheery attitude had rubbed off on everybody.

They all loved you. That's why it hurt even more.

You two were out at sea when it happened. An ambush made the boat rock, Smoothie and her crew fighting the intruders off. You ran to safety, as per request, but a sword pierced your lower abdomen,making you fall. The boat was rocking so wildly you were catapulted out of the ship.

Unfortunately, your fiancée was there to witness everything. She rushed, but she didn't make it. Her hands moments away from yours.

Your body was swallowed by the seas below, and it vanished.

She eliminated everyone brutally, before falling to her knees, crying in despair. She knew that, had it been any other situation, it would have been unbecoming of a sweet commander, but this was her soon to be wife. They were going to see the dress, just to add insult to the injury.

She returned home, the news already been heard, and they held a solemn funeral, to pay their respects to a fallen family member. It hurt, they all cried, but they swore to keep your memory alive.

She went back to work,to keep her mind off the pain. But everything reminded her of you.

"When the sword pierced me and I fell overboard, I was taken in by the Red hair pirates. Well, they pretty much saved my life. And it was thanks to them that I could make my way back here. It took so long because of the gravity of the injury. But they have been gracious host and they didn't think twice about helping, especially after I told them that my wife, the daughter of Big Mama was soon going to marry me. They were really nice people. They even accompanied me on land before going back" just your luck to be saved by another emperor, huh?

"Well, it seems we have to send a gift to Shanks, to show our gratitude" said Katakuri, happy to have you back.

"I thought about the perfect gift while coming back, so...Smoothie, you are hurting my ribs" giggling,you pried open her hands , taking them into your own.

Tech’s scream was followed by loud snickers and footsteps running away. Crosshair watched the whole scene, a smirk plastered on his face.

Now that made crosshair’s smirk drop. Echo? Echo of all people helped Fives prank Tech?

“Uh. It was just a prank Tech”

Echo couldn’t help but chuckle either.. finally having his brother back definitely ignited a new fire inside him. Before he didn’t help fives prank his other brothers.. he was usually the one who was getting Fives out of trouble..

“Still.. putting a faulty fan in the ship so it would blow black smoke into my face I sent he type of prank I would laugh over..”

“Oh loosen up Tech.. I quite enjoyed watching it happen.”

“Of course you did Crosshair..”

Tech rolled his eyes and went to shower all the Black smoke off of him. Fives pulled Echo to the side.

In a split second a giant bucket of ice cold water was dumped over Crosshair’s head. Everyone’s mouth hung open, even Echo who knew it was going to happen.

Crosshair Turned faster than lightning towards Fives’ loud laugh.. his face a dark crimson red, full of anger and embarrassment.

“FIVES!”

Crosshair’s hands grabbed Five’s shoulders and.. he started laughing. A good, deep laugh. Everyone’s face was in shock, but only for a moment before they joined Crosshair in a fit of laughing.

“GOD I HATE YOU SO MUCH! HAHA!”

Crosshair wrapped his arms around fives and gave him a tight squeeze.

“Yeah! Seems like you really hate me!”

Omega jumped up and ran over to the pair.

“Group hug!”

Crosshair immediately stopped hugging fives as the rest of the brothers ran over and hugged each other in a large group hug.

The other two are a lot easier. Both of them are in the same region and about as easy as each other to catch. Assuming you're going to be cooking them I can't imagine you'd want any specific shiny or other genetic oddity. It's up to which one you prefer.

Every time he manages to fuel the ever-persistent need for negativity in his system, Dream and his friends immediately sap it out of him. So, Nightmare has decided he was done. If they believed the multiverse was better without negativity, he was okay with that. He'd well descended past apathy years ago." (I read this years ago, I should read it again.)

No matter how hard he tried, no matter what it was he loved, whether it be a rock or a human or a- a cat, he could never have anything good in his life. Not- ... ...Not while Nightmare was still alive. Or: Things have been building up for a long time. Maybe it was inevitable Killer would break like this. Or or: Did you know that canon Killer used to have cats, key words being 'used to'? It's a relevant detail." It's not the best, I'm aware, but I think it's still enjoyable.

Into the Spider-Verse: SP//dr: Edge of Spider-Verse #5 (Sponsored by WeirdKev27)

Hello all you happy webheads and welcome back to our second dose of action as your reward… for what I don't know. Maybe you petted a dog recently or something and they were a very good boy/girl. I don't know. With our main spider-trio clear, we're now into the other three spider-persons starting with our only other spider-woman SP//dr.. which is going to be annoying to type out already I can tell you that.

SP//dr is also the only spider-person in this retrosepective to not really have a lot of indivdual focus. She's mostly shown up in team up events only getting one shots in this and the edge of spider-geddon mini series, and the most she's gotten for a solo is a story arc is marvel unimited's spider-verse series. In contrast looking at the other spider-people miles is on his fifth solo series and has tons of minis, gwen has had three solo series and also tons of minis, Spider-Pig had a short lived solo we'll be visiting soon and multiple minis and while never having an ongoing, Noir has had three full mini series and a few one shots. And of course peter has had multiple runs of amazing, spectacular and adjetivelss spider-man along with marvel team up, giant size spider-man, two volumes of web of spider-man and spider-man unlimited, untolt tales of spider-man, two volumes of sensastional spider-man, webspinners tales of spiderman, spider-man's tangeled web, avenging spider-man, and spider-man/deadpool among COUNTLESS mini series. What i'm saying is while Peni has a great issue here and a great concept she really hasn't had the big character defining storyline most of her peers got, and out of the 6 chosen, she's easily the obscure pick, though it likely helped Lord and Miller switched out her origins considerably while leaning into the anime style to give them another distinct spidey to roll with. Kimiko Glenn's impecable as always performance probably didn't hurt.

So going into this.. Peni was a mystery to me, as I hadn't read this issue, spider-verse or spider-geddon. And boy howdy was this a massive fun suprise: For starters Peni was co-created by GERARD FUCKING WAY. For those who don't know him

But for those who don't, Gerard was, and maybe still is?, the lead singer and creative force of the emo band to end all emo bands My Chemical Romance. Naturally my faviorite album is their last one, an over the top and glorious punk album set in a comic style corprate wasteland and where Grand Motherfucking Morrison played the main bad guy. No joke, they showed up in two diffrent videos as the character. He rocks.

And for most people being a world famous rock star and having his own money bin only with pennies painted pink , black and red would be enough. For Gerard.. he wanted to write comics too and was damn good at it. He created Umbrella Academy out of his love for the x-men, which as far as I know he has'nt gotten to work on and i'ts a damn crime, and Doom Patrol, one of my faviorite DC Comcis teams. Thankfully he DID get to work on the latter and rescued them from a decades long limbo, crafting a run that's as batshit insane as it is damn fun and creative. It may not entirely make sense at times but like Morrison's own team defining run, it dosen't always need to to be awesome. He's also written multiple comics based on Danger Days, the album I mentioned, and the 12 issue series Cave Carson has a Cybernetic Eye. While his work is sporadic it's always memorable and this is no exception. So look alive sunshine as we plug in under the cut.

We open with the death of a spider-man: Peni Parker's dad peter dies horribly. How?

But there are two key points from this striking two page spread: SP//dr the man is dead.. btu the actual spider somehow bonded with him is alive

We then cut to young peni parker, age 10, who talks to her uncle ben and aunt mei who break the news which she takes with chilling calm… and then ask her to bond with SP//dr to help defend japan… and also prove their GREAT new caretakers by revealing they released the genetically altered spider her dad died with into the room to bite her without making sure she was okay with it. It bites her and a new spider is added to the web. As you can tell… they changed the tone a LOT with Peni. In the movie she's mostly just "LOOK ANIME'. Here.. it's more cyberpunk, with SP//dr likewise having a more mechanical design. I get Why they did it.. but wish they'd still kept peni unique while making her look anime instead of being generic anime school girl with robot buddy. Especially since SP//dr's armor is fucking sick looking as you could see on the cover

5 years later, she's on duty as this universe's mysterio is attacking.. and also really weird. While the guy inside we'll find out is some nerd in a cool suit and weird globe as usual… his way of attacking the populace is this cool ominous floating doom orb

It's honestly a hell of an interpretation and makes me mad we didn't get to see MORE of way's takes on various spidey rogues, as he naturally goes all out with it while still keeping the core: mysterio is still a showman, but more as a mad artist than a hollywood schster, and his hallucinations gas is stil la thing now just poored onto the street> The art is also incredible, fitting Way's pop punk astetic like a glove, being both colorful while also fitting the mildly gritty tone: this work is cyberpunk but more the anime brand with lots of flash and sound, aka the better version. Aunt May serves as Peni's mission contorla s she prepares to get in, admits sh'es a vegetarian and crashes in on mysterio while playing the song Love is a Weapon by Cult Summer Feat Gloss.. which is a song i'm not even sure actually exists.

What we get is an awesome sequence as our mechanized heroine busts in.. sadly she dosen't say this

But I think she DOES meet this guy eventually so it balances out. It's awesome especially once the hallucinogens kick in and our hero has to punch the guy out. We also find out he's a looney fan who sent her a mix cd.

We then cut to.. school as we see peni's id is public: SP//dr which is both the suit and the spider, and is confusing as you would imagine is there, and when Daredevil shows up to pick her up for superhero stuff she's excused. There's also what looks like anime mj looking at her. Neat.

I like this unvierse's daredevil too: he seems to work as SP//dr's handler, ;ally and a friend of her dad's, has a nice look to him (lookiing like armored daredevil but less 90's and more badass), and ikt's again why I wish we knew more or got a series, even a mini as this universe really ISN'T that explored. I mean granted given how way's work can go we could get more questions than answers, but we'd also get some real neat shit along the way.

We also get a really nice bit where the two break for lunch… where Peni both admits she's tired and asks about her dad. While we don't see MUCH of her here.. we get plenty of character as it's clear Peni feels lost, coming off stoic.. but it's clear there's a real sadness to her: She lost her dad, there's a job she was forced into and didn't ask for and she can never really have a normal life, something Peter, Miles and Gwen all struggle with, but it's magnified here: all of them at least can TRY thanks to the mask. Peni.. is stuck with everyone knowing she's the spider-person and we see that not having to hide.. doesn't make her feel any less alone.

The ending… is a bit more tied into the event than Gwen's.. I mean granted anything's better than

Btu the last few pages are Peni being greeted by Spider-Ham, does whatever a spider-pig does and Old Man Spider. Old Man Spider, who I hadn't seen before this is Ezikiel. He's a LOT to explain and I could just brush over it.. but i'm a wordy bastard so instead here's

JAKE EXPLAINS AN OLD SPIDER-MAN MOST OF YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF AND DON'T CARE EXISTS

During the early good parts of J. Micheal Strazenski's long run on spider-man, we found out spider-man was tied into the "web of life and death" and picked as the spider-totem for his universe, with the reason he has so many animal foes being their drawn to him via destiny and stuff. I think it's fine: it's not a necessary explanation but I don't mind adding some magic to peter's science based world. He soon met Ezikel, a successful businessman who also had spider-powers and used them for personal gain, but showed up to help Peter against morlun, a mystical vampire man who hunts spider-people who was cool at the time but sadly got a bunch of generic siblings who are the main reason i'm not super into reading spider-verse and were wisely replaced with kingpin for the movie. Point is he's a cool old guy and in this universe peter died fighting morlun, so Eziekl became spider-man.

Anyways our heroes go to get the suit, and we get Peni stating she's a weapon to keep going till termination, seeing her once again brush her emotions aside… because the reality is too terrifying. All that matters is the job. So with that our spider-'s swing off and we get Spider-Ham's classic catchphrase.

I mean i'ts no crackers and milk... oh who am I kidding it's SO crackers and milk. That'll do pig. That'll do. INto The Spider-Verse #5 is amazing, a ncie short story. If I have any complaint it's that it feels fragmented, with three diffrent stories: peni fighting mysterio, peni and daredevil fighting thgs mysterio told them about, and spider-verse spider-verse. But the energetic tone, art and great characterization for peni means it comes quick, hits hard and leaves a hell of an impression. Hopefully we'll see Peni again in al lher death metal glory. For now.. this is a nice single tha tstands on it's own

Next Time: Just say Noir as a very different Peter Parker must avenge his uncle's murder and dawn a spiffy fedora.
