Call It Love (2023), Kang Min-yeong
This one makes me awfully sad. There are lots of things one can label as "wrong" and "immoral". Life isn't all black and white, no matter how hard we try to make it that way. As a woman, I tend to side with other women any chance I get, no matter if it turns out to be a big mistake.
Dong-jin, even if you're played by Kim Young-kwang, I can't let you off the hook, sorry.
Their break up makes me think it was a bit of everyone's fault. Sure, we could just oversimplify it and say they weren't compatible in the first place. We still have no idea what he did, but she cheated anyways, so this is where we should just shut up all together. Well, maybe they were both too young and inexperienced to deal with their parents' burdens. It's best to learn on other people's mistakes, but this time neither of them could escape their own selves.
Dong-jin's mother is one peculiar women nobody would ever want to meet in any kind of circumstance. Her son avoids her best way possible, but she always finds a way back into his life, destroying everything she touches. Min-yeong comes from a disgustingly wealthy family (I mean the woman drives a Maserati, that car scene alone made me weep), it's only natural her life is full of problems as well; her parents never approved of her relationship in the first place. For a girl who seems to be hurried into getting married, is there anything else that's left to expect besides a tragic ending? Dong-jin tried escaping his mother's influence, more or less, but same thing can't be said for Min-yeong. My guess is both were in great pain which they couldn't get rid off due to coming from such different worlds while neither of the two knew how to patch the void in between. Inexperience.
Dong-jin's biggest mistake was hiding his true face from his partner while insisting on keeping the relationship going. He hid his background, his childhood, his wounds, his identity. Is having a meaningful relationship even possible without taking the mask off at some point? Yet that's something he could never do but still, from his perspective it must have seemed as if he's doing fine as a partner. That's not how it works, relationship is almost like a living being, and putting up a wall is always noticeable, even when the other side turns a blind eye.
Certainly, him not letting her in on his painful past has a great affect on all that lead to their break up. While Min-yeong was looking for support in the one she loved the most, she was not getting any reassurance back and she probably blamed herself for him not opening up to her. That's something women usually do. And what do people do once they can't see a way out of a difficult situation? They become (self-)destructive. She could bend over backwards but she was just not the one he would move his emotional blocks for. From what we can see in the series, he didn't really want to discuss their future together and he kept pushing her away, presenting it as if she might be the one to push him away, some day, when she learns the truth about him (if she ever does).
From that perspective, their whole situation smells like trouble. Big, big trouble. She said herself her goal was getting married and having a family. I can't blame her for wanting those things. Is wanting something she subconsciously knows Dong-jin would never offer so wrong? Is loving a person deeply to the point of being irrational and practically dumb so wrong? Ah, but desperate measures are always wrong. Why don't we all collectively just bury this woman alive, why would we understand anything that she went through? It's not like something like that could ever happen in real life to any of us, right?
Honestly, the show presents Dong-jin as if he were an angel and not a man with severe mother/father issues. He's portrayed as a kind hearted protagonist with a high moral sense, who drowns his sorrow in alcohol while lying on the floor for days after Min-yeong's mom sent him the wedding invitation. I can't deal with kdrama mom thing at all now, they're a different kind of evil, I swear.
The audacity of "I won't let you in and I won't marry you, but I won't let you marry anyone else either" is something known for ages. That's probably why her mom sent the invitation in the first place. And all of that together makes me think he didn't treat her like a decent human being. Not because he chose that, but because he doesn't have the capacity for it. Not having the capacity, being somewhat aware of it and insisting on the relationship, because the other person displays so much affection and love, is as equally bad as cheating. That is actually also cheating. A person doesn't have to get involved with anyone else to be a cheater. It's enough to hide their wounds and not be honest about it. That alone makes me think the reason why he pretended not to notice she was out dating someone else hides behind his feeling of utter guilt. Guilt for not being capable of providing her what she needs, to compensate for building up walls and wasting her time all along.
Dating emotionally unavailable person, heck, living with one, is soul draining. It hurts like hell looking at a person and feeling as if you're staring at a blank wall. The pain of having to go through that daily is worse than your partner actually cheating on you once or falling for someone else and breaking up. At least that's how I see it; the pain it puts you through is not even comparable. The reason behind it might be in the fact that for cheating one doesn't need intelligence at all. To lure someone in your life, make them stay and to calculate how much of which part of yourself you'll give in each and every moment, well... In my eyes that's way worse form of betrayal. It takes a lot of brain. That's manipulation at it's finest. There's something very dark and vile about it; it can play with other person's mental health in the most brutal ways, where outcomes may be even fatal. And we have it right there on the screen. Min-yeong became an alcoholic. She let a man with mommy issues and extremely low self-esteem drag her down to the bottom, while he then carried on with his life as the main victim in everyone else's eyes. That's something men who hate their mothers do very often.
Her side was never shown (at least not yet), how much she must have waited for him to change, to open up at least a tiny bit, how much energy and effort she poured into their relationship. How many times she tried to get thru his walls. Sure, she made a huge mistake by contacting his mother first, but I can't blame her. Imagine how desperate she was in that moment; she went behind his back to check his phone and steal his mom's number. Even thinking of doing that is hitting rock bottom yet she went on and did it without being aware of what desperation looks like on her. As any relationship, theirs must have had a great start. Keeping his character in mind, he was most probably an amazing boyfriend at first. Once the honey moon phase ended, first problems emerged. He probably pushed it all under the rug. Min-yeong's mistake was falling a bit too hard and not breaking up with him sooner, probably thinking she could change him. Could be she wanted to prove her parents wrong as well, but for whatever reason, it hurts to watch her scenes and think about her psychological profile.
It's never one sided, that feeling when relationship reaches the breaking point. People don't want to be the bad one, breaking up first. It is a bit pathetic, not ending a relationship and enjoying the victim role saying "I've been dumped" any chance possible. Meanwhile, those same people treat their partner so poorly it's evidently there is no love left there. I'm not trying to use this drama, nor Min-yeong's character to justify cheating. Of course cheating is wrong. What I'm trying to point out is the following. Dong-jin's move - not ending the relationship and choosing to live off of his partner's energy until she turned into a wreck - is also just as wrong, if not worse than what his partner did. She obviously loved him more. What a textbook example; men with severe self-esteem (and what-not) issues pursue gorgeous smart amazing independent girls, only to ruin their psyche, changing them into something, someone unrecognisable operating on survival mode. Sounds a lot like a parasite causing a disease.
Min-yeong's left miserable in the end. She turned into an alcoholic who, even after all the hell she's been through, still thinks she might have a shot with this guy who never even truly accepted her. Oh the brain fog. Oh the twisted perception. All the excuses she must have made for him until she fell into a hole they both dig up. While he just used her for tending to his wounded inner child. She must have been so confused and so lost, how messed up her head must have been when she couldn't even get rid of him. How do you get rid of a parasite? Without an intervention, you don't.
I'm good at writing apology letters for others, so why not writing one for her? So let's wrap this one up. In all honesty, Dong-jin probably took best years of her life while she waited for him to open up. What, they're probably in their late twenties, early thirties now? Imagine yourself living in a conservative society, where certain norms are expected, are even obligatory. I get that his mom made him miserable but she is still his mother. There is no other woman out there who could fill that role. Being in a relationship for god knows how long without introducing your "future wife" to your only parent, who is clearly still around, for whatever ugly reason he should have been open about, is wrong on so many levels. Min-yeong obviously loved him deeply. All she wanted was to marry a guy she loved and start a family, and not wait for him for 10 years to finally make up his mind. He knew they were not compatible, despite all the love. She was blinded, he didn't want to hurt her so he didn't let her go even though he should have. She tried to move on, but couldn't, because she wanted him. She wanted the person she could never have. She was hooked badly.
No satisfied woman would ever cheat, especially if she wants to commit to a man till the end of her life. At this point her actions look like a desperate cry for help, but her example is just another one in a sea full of such cases, no one will care once you're incapable of getting up on your feet; however, everyone will point a finger and be the first to judge and even cheer on as they watch you drown.

A/N: I recomend listening to this song while reading (was listening to it while coming up with the story, the song and the story aren't exact copies of eachother but the vibe is about the same) and to those who know me THE LINK IS SAFE TO CLICK I DIDN'T LINK IT WITH WHAT YOU THINK I SWEAR. Enjoy the reading 😊

"Hey, can I come over?"
"Dude, you were just here!"
"I know, I know. But I need a shoulder to cry on."
"Damn, that bad? What happened? You and Y/N had a fight or...?"
"Can I just come over?"
"Yeah, sure. I'll leave the door unlocked."
Geto Suguru has had a lot of weird moments with his best friend, but that phone call certainly was...something. No explanation, no joking around, just straight to the point.
About fifteen minutes later he heard his front door open.
"Satoru, did you learn how to teleport or something? We live an hour away from eachother," Geto joked before he could even turn around and see the state his friend was in. Disheveled hair, dry lips, red eyes. Something terrible must've happened.
"It's Y/N," was all Gojo said before he sat down at the dining table.
"Figured that much," replied Geto and took a seat next to him and waited. He knew Gojo. That man can't shut his mouth to save his own life. He'll spill everything sooner or later.
Gojo let his head fall on top of Geto's and sighed. Geto patted his fluffy white hair and kept on waiting. Good thing was they both sat right across a big window. Geto could count pine cones on the nearby trees while he waited for Gojo to open up.
It didn't take long.
"Y/N left."
"WHAT?!" Geto pushed the white head off of his shoulder and took Gojo by the shoulders. "What happened? What did you do?" He stared him in the eye.
Gojo just blinked. "I don't know! I don't think I did anything wrong," he looked oit the window again. A squirell jumped from one branch to another.
Geto rolled his eyes and turned Gojo's face back to his. "Satoru, people don't just up and leave. You must've done or said something that hurt her feelings. What did I tell you about comunication being-"
"Being the cornerstone of a good relationship, I remember," he put his hands on Geto's cupping his face. "We did talk. And I thought we came to a mutual understanding. Then I offered to cuddle with her and went to shower but once I walked out she was gone. All her things too..."
"Wow," Geto let go of his friend's face, "what a bitch."
"Right?" Gojo agreed and leaned back on his chair so far it was threatening to fall. "I don't understand. She never complained before, never said anything, then all of a sudden she pulls a stunt like that, throws a scene, slips into her selfhating thing again-"
"Wait, she what?" Geto asked confused. He has met you enough times to know you were very cheerful and life-loving person. What was Gojo talking about? Selfhatred?
"She has these moments,"he explained, "thinks she's too fat, then not curvy enough, thinks she's too basic to be with a guy like me, so on. When it happened the first few times i comforted her but even after all those years she still thinks of herself as less than and I'm too damn tired of it. I thought all of those negative thoughts would go away the first time I assured her I love her no matter what," he crossed his arms on his chest and looked out the window again. "I'm starting to feel like she's doing it for attention."
"Listen Satoru, maybe she's just extremely selfconscious and people like her need reassurance like that. Besides if she was really doing that for attention she wouldn't leave withoit a word. She would leave hints for you to find her and come beg her on your knees or something."
Gojo chuckled. "Suguru, you've got to stop watching Shoko's telenovelas."
"I'm a slut for drama."
A phone rang.
In a speed of light Gojo pulled out his phone hoping to see your lovely face. The screen was black.
Geto pulled out his ringing phone and picked up. "Well well, speak of the devil," he smiled.
Gojo couldn't hear what him and Shoko were talking about. He could only take hints from Geto's facial expressions and his occasional answers.
"What do you mean you have to cancel it? Oh. Okay. I understand. And did she tell you what-" his eyes got wide. "But wait, that's not- I didn't- Actually he's right next to me."
Gojo tried to get closer to hear what they were talking about but Geto jumped up and walked across the room.
"Okay. Okay, i'll ask him. No, that's fine. Alright. Take care, both of you. Bye," he hung up. Then slowly turned around to face Gojo now standing opposite him.
"Now you'll tell me exactly what had happened between you two. You said she caused a scene, what was it about?"
His mouth turned into neutral line, just like when you started this whole mess. "She asked me to stop seeing you. Can you believe that? Trust me, if I told her to stop seeing her friends all hell would break lose."
"Isn't that what happened when she asked you?" Geto pointed out the obvious double standard but Gojo wasn't listening.
"Didn't you hear what I just said? She wanted me to spend more time with her. Like, what does she want me to do? Make me and her morph into one being?"
"It is true that you've been spending a lot of time with me," Geto held his chin between his fingers in a thought. "But I don't get one thing. If you being away from her this often was a problem for her then she must've shown signs, not encourage you to come and spend time with me when she was too busy herself."
"About that," Gojo nervously played with his shades. "I might've over-exagarated that."
"Don't tell me..." Geto pinched the bridge of his nose.
"She wasn't always busy when I came here."
"Satoru!" He half shouted. "You always told me she was too busy and couldn't come! Why would you lie?"
"Because i felt trapped!" He yelled back. "I felt like I couldn't even breathe. Yes, being around has brought me so much joy but I missed the thrill of being free. Just being with you and Shoko and doing whatever. Now I just feel like I'm chained to something that I kinda want away from but also not," the entire time he spoke he was pacing back and forth. "I just wanted to feel like the old times."
"So in other words you miss the feeling of being single but you also like the benefits relationship gives you," Geto concluded. "I thought you were better than this."
"And I thought you would understand," Gojo turned his anger against his best friend who was calmly standing in the living room. "But wait, I forgot, you have no one," he mocked.
"Damn right I don't. Which makes me even more pissed off when I see how you treat your own relationship! Have you got any idea how much I envied you for having someone waiting for you at home and welcome you after a long day? Or just someone to be there for you in general?"
Gojo got silent. He didn't know. Geto never showed it.
Geto took it as his chance to try speak some sense into Gojo. "Listen, you only feel like this because you've never been in a relationship. Feeling trapped is normal, I think. What's important is that you love her and you're capable of changing to get her back, right?"
Gojo was just looking at him.
"Right?" Geto said a bit more panicked.
"I don't know!" Gojo exclaimed and Geto facepalmed. "I don't know how to choose between her and you."
"Is that what she asked? For you to choose between her and me?"
Gojo shook his head. "No, I think she just wanted me to spend less time with you."
"So she didn't out right prohibit you from hanging out with me, she only asked for you to stay with her more often," Geto was slowly but surely getting the whole picture.
"Something like that," Gojo shrugged.
Geto sighed. "You royally fucked up Gojo Satoru."
"No, really?" sarcasm dripped from his words. "I still think I did nothing wrong. She has no right to aks me to spend less time with you."
"She does actually. She's your girlfriend of what, three years?"
Gojo nodded.
"Three years and yet you place her beneath a best friend. How would you feel like if she had to choose between her best friend and you and she went for the friend?"
Suddenly, Gojo looked like it finally hit him. "I'd feel...terrible," he sat down on the chair. "But... but I didn't tell her I would choose you. Both of you mean so much to me."
"On the same level or a different one? Satoru, understand that the love for a friend and a love for a lover are two separate kinds of love. You not being able to distinguish between them caused you to be in this mess."
Geto walked over to where Gojo sat and towere over him. He put a reassuring hand on his wide back. "Let me ask you this: what do you want right now? To be with her?"
Gojo stayed silent. He didn' know what he wanted. He hated the fact that he can't have both a friend and a lover. Choosing one would mean losing the other in Gojo's eyes. He can't afford that. Not when both of his most treasured people made him so happy.
Geto took his silence as a no. "You know what I think? You didn't want to have her. You just wanted others to see you have her."
His words cut like a knife. Why? Why do his loved ones have to be this cruel? He only looked up from the floor to his best friends almost black eyes. His own baby blues were watery. A lump took place in his throat. With a horror he realised how weak he feels. One half of him already packed her things and walked away, he can't let the other half do the same.
"Do you hate me now?" He whispered, affraid if he will speak any louder he would cry.
Geto took a while. Then shook his head. "No Satoru, just dissapointed."
Gojo nodded and looked back down to the floor.
Few minutes passed. None of them said anything. After Gojo was completely sure he won't fall apart he spoke up. "Do you think I can fix this?"
"Hmm," Geto hummed and pulled out a chair to sit opposite him. "Fixing means returning to its original state. I don't think things will go back to normal."
"But, I don't want to lose her. I know I don't!"
"Then you must set your priorities straight."
"But-" Gojo looked into Geto's eyes again. "That would mean I will loose you and that's equally as bad."
Geto shook his head. "You won't loose me. I'll still be here. You can still come over and we can still hang out. It just won't be like before."
"And that's what I don't want," Gojo mumbled and crossed his arms again while leaning into the backrest.
"Truthfully, if I had a girlfriend as amazing as Y/N I would spend a lot of time with her and not you."
Gojo swore he could feel his heart crack. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," he leaned forward and rested his elbows on his thighs, "that it's only natural to pick your lover over your friends. Not always, of course, but often enough."
Geto lifted his head to see his friend pale as a ghost, his skintone could now rival with his hair. He immediatelly regreted what he said. "But as I said, even if that was the case, even if you chose her as your top priority, which you should've as a good boyfriend, then it wouldn't mean I would cease to exist. And if I get someone in the future and I do the same you won't cease to exist to me either. You are my best friend, Satoru," he placed a hand on Gojo's shoulder, "and no girl will ever change that."
Gojo's ocean blue eyes let some tears slipped. He realized that his best friend is right, as always. Geto will always be there. And sure, even after he gets busy in his own life and won't have time for Gojo and his antics anymore, that wouldn't mean they would change into strangers to one another.
Gojo quickly wiped his tears and nodded. He swallowed the lump in his throat. "I don't want tk fix this. I want to evolve this. I want her back. I want to learn to love her again. Properly this time."
"You sure about that?"
Gojo nodded.
"Even after she won't forgive you?"
"Why wouldn't she? She's smart. She will understand. Besides, how can you rehect the best man in the world?" He forced out a chuckle.
Geto shook his head. "Arrogant and full of yourself as always."
"Yeah, what can you do..."
Geto's phone buzzed again. But this time nkt from a phone call but a message. Geto took out his phone, gave it a short glance and put it back into his pocket.
"Was it Shoko?"
Geto shook his head. "Just my reminder. Me and Shoko planned to go see a movie."
"Oh, is that what you talked about canceling?"
Geto nodded. "Y/N knocked on her door and asked to stay a few days. From what Shoko told me she was a mess."
Gojo slumped forward on his chair and hid his face in his hands. "I never wanted any of this to happen."
Geto hummed. "Do you know what this is callled? Consequences. Hurts, doesn't it?"

Revelations
Tumblr media
Synopsis: It's no secret Kurama's soft on you. But when his demon form finally sees the light after hundreds of years, the fact only further cements itself.
It's surreal to think just a few weeks ago you were an ordinary high school student. A few weeks ago you had been completely oblivious to your best friend’s secret life. A few weeks ago, he'd been walking you home like he'd always done.
Talking about everything and nothing at the same time. Visiting his mother in the hospital before you took off to your job at some ramen place to earn a few extra bucks. A simple life it was.
Uneventful but peaceful.
Now here you were in some stuffy hotel, cheering on said best friend as he fought in a tournament. A demon tournament, if you may add. Where death was always a possibility and he and his friends were constantly fighting for their lives. One of which was the boyfriend of your boss’s daughter. And thank goodness she was or else you probably never would have known what was going on with Shuichi.
You never would have had a clue as to why he was suddenly absent from your life. Where he suddenly vanished to when the day before, he'd talked about having a ‘study date.’ How, now that his mother was better, it'd be nice to have a proper dinner between the three of you. Talks of the future, like you'd wake up and he'd be right there.
Turns out it was all a lie.
That first day you'd checked everywhere for him. It wasn't until you went to work that you met up with Keiko. Who was also suspicious of her boyfriend’s absence. The two men in question had seemingly vanished over night. And in your search for answers, you'd come across the sister of another guy who went missing.
Three in one day was no coincidence.
The common denominator? A blue haired woman who was apparently a grim reaper. A few threats from Shizuru had her spilling everything. How Shuichi, sweet dorky Shuichi, was a demon. And a prolific one at that. How all three of the boys, plus another demon, were forced to fight in this tournament. Or else they'd die along with everyone they cared about.
It made sense why they'd all left in the middle of night without a word. Why he left you without saying anything. You understood the circumstances, and you didn't hold it against him. You couldn't hold that against him. But… But you two told each other everything. Or at least you thought you did.
Which leads you to where you are now. Sitting anxiously across from Kurama the night before the semi finals. He'd already had one close call with death. You didn't think you could take it if he had another.
Kurama didn't like you being here as it was. Going as far as to scold you after his first match for following him. Seeing you cry after his fight with Touya didn't help your case either. You figured his concern was purely out of obligation. Not wanting to be responsible if you somehow got hurt.
Oblivious to the warm gazes directed at you when you weren't looking. The way he searched for you in the stands before every match. How he always offered you his hand when you'd go out. You were probably the only person he let get close enough to tend to his wounds.
It wasn't like he ever hid his soft spot for you. If anyone took the time to analyze his actions, it was easy to tell he cared quite a lot about you. More than a friend should.
“You're awfully quiet.” He spoke, snapping you from your thoughts.
“I'm just…” You didn't know how exactly to explain what you were feeling. To put your overwhelmed senses into words.
Truth was you were terrified. Terrified for Shuichi and terrified for his friends. You were terrified of waking up tomorrow and him not coming back to you.
“Worried.” you settled on.
He gave a thoughtful hum before scooting closer to you. You could feel the warmth radiating off of his skin. The sweet smell of roses accompanying it. Your relationship with the redhead had always been touchy. Never shying away from affection towards one another. So you hardly minded when he moved to cup your cheek. Guiding your gaze to meet his.
“We'll win. Just one more match until we're in the finals.”
So sure, he sounded so sure that you couldn't help but believe him. Emerald eyes filled with determination. You used to joke that he was hypnotizing you with them. So pretty that you couldn't focus on anything else except him. The theory seemed more plausible now that you knew he wasn't exactly human.
“And then we can go home,” he promised.
But you still had your doubts.
“Yeah? Yusuke and the ‘masked fighter’ still aren't back. And the enemies just keep getting stronger.”
The hurdles just keep getting bigger, and you didn't think the four of them could keep up anymore. Too much had been thrown at them.
“Can you really win like this?”
You could see the conflict brewing behind his eyes. Try as he might, Kurama could never hide his emotions from you. You knew the answer before he said it.
“We have to.” Careful, always so careful with his choice of words. Not promising you a for sure victory, but reaffirming what you already knew. You knew what he wanted to say…But you also knew he couldn't admit it. Not to you and not to himself.
The real answer- He doesn’t know.
“Tomorrow's a big day, let's get some rest.”
A sign the conversation had drawn to a close. You weren't in the mood to push anyways. So you followed him to his room. The both of you slipping into the same bed, with Shuichi's arms wrapping tightly around you. Most likely the last time he'd ever get to hold you.
—-----------------------------
Tomorrow came far too soon. There was still no sign of Yusuke and the masked fighter, meaning the team would be at a complete disadvantage. If you had any semblance of martial arts training, you would have volunteered to take one of their places. Though truthfully you knew you wouldn't have been able to put up much of a fight.
You slipped into your own room to get ready, mentally preparing yourself for the day. Surprisingly, there was no one in the lobby waiting. You couldn't help but wonder where the girls were. Usually all of you went to the arena together. For safety purposes, of course. Perhaps they'd already made their way there? They didn't seem like the type to get up early, but maybe just this once they'd made the effort.
Apparently you were dead wrong.
You'd searched everywhere in the stands, testing your luck and even asking a few demons if they'd seen them. No luck. You were completely on your own. It didn't help that this new stadium was 10 times bigger than the old one. No one would even notice if something happened to you here.
You really only had two two options before the match started. You could stay here, surrounded by bloodthirsty demons who were starting to eye you with drool. Or you could go down to where Shuichi and his friends were, right in front of all the action and potentially get hurt.
It was a no brainer what you’d choose. Besides, he'd never let you get hurt on his watch. And you trusted the other two with your safety when it would be his turn to fight. You didn't think they would be cruel enough to leave you wide open for injury. Or at least, Kuwabara would do his best. He'd proven he had the most humanity during this tournament.
Yeah, you were much safer near the actual fights than you were surrounded by demons. Begrudgingly, you made your way down. Dodging a few swipes directed at you before jumping over the railing. Your actions quickly catching the attention of Koto, the cat announcer.
“And who is that making their way over to Team Urameshi! Could this be their alternate fighter? Or perhaps one of their lovers~”
You cursed her for drawing attention directly towards you. Already feeling all eyes on you as you approached.
“What are you doing here?” Kurama questioned. The other two looked expectantly at you for your answer.
“I have no idea where the girls are. And I don't think it's a good idea for me to be up in that stadium by myself.”
He gave a hum, about to usher you closer to him when someone beat him to the punch.
“Well I'll protect ya, so don't worry!” Kuwabara assured. Pulling you close by your shoulders in a way that had you laughing. Unawares of the subtle way Kurama's eyes had narrowed.
“Thank you. That's very sweet.”
“Don't mention it. Nothing gets past me, so I'll let you know when to duck and cover.”
“If that's the case, they're better off in the stadium,” Hiei commented.
“What did you say, shrimp!” Kuwabara released you to get in his face. The two of them continuing to bicker while you laughed.
Your gaze caught Shuichi's and you offered an amused grin.
“Your friends seem fun. Can't believe you didn't introduce me to them sooner.”
“They’re not exactly the type you bring up in passing. And I doubt you would've believed I was associated with them,” he answered, though there was some mirth in his eyes that let you know he was teasing.
“Excuse me, I'd like to get back to the semi-finals now,” Juri, the fish announcer this time, interrupted.
It once again reminded you just where you were. What could happen if any of Kurama and his friends slipped up. You shouldn't be joking around causing a distraction. Not when lives were at stake. His life. Your anxieties only worsened when the first round begun.
Sure Hiei had managed to beat his opponent in under five minutes. But the brief second he'd disappeared made your heart stop. Unconsciously moving yourself closer to Kurama.
The second match was much worse. The burly man in front of Hiei using his sword to cut his own arm. Explaining how once his body had been exposed to a specific pain, it wouldn't affect him the next time he was hurt. It was only a matter of time before the smaller demon ran out of options. With his sword broken and his spirit energy depleted, he took a gamble.
The conclusion of the fight had felt so sudden. So brutal. Kuro Momotaro had seemingly won, his teeth piercing into Hiei's shoulder. The aftermath was a fountain of blood spraying out.
You’d flinched away at the sight, trying your best to shut out the triumphant cheers of the stadium. Only for them to go quiet as Hiei shoved the body off of him. The shape shifting demon now in pieces on the floor. Hiei was okay. And as he continued to antagonize Kuwabara, you let out a breath you didn't know you were holding.
It was easier to stomach the fights when you were with the girls. People who weren't desensitized to the carnage around them. Nobody had batted an eye down here. They all seemed used to it. Only further reminding you just how feeble and weak you were in their presence.
Hell, Hiei was practically begging for a round three despite his condition. The dice were brought out again, and you were praying to whatever God was up there it wouldn't land on Shuichi's name. You knew it wasn't fair. He needed to fight at some point. Judging by the determined expression on his face, he wanted to. But you didn't have a good feeling about this. You didn't want him to leave your side towards his potential death.
Please don't let it be him.
“Now fighting for Team Urameshi, Kurama. and for team Uraotogi, Uraurashima.”
Fuck.
You stood shakily next to Hiei and Kuwabara as Kurama stepped into the area. His opponent a young boy with a fishing pole. At least he looked easy to beat. It gave you momentary relief before both of them drew their weapons. Uraurashima’s fishing line clashing with Kurama's Rose Whip. Equally bouncing off of each other with no indication of one overpowering the other.
“They're evenly matched? Or is he not fighting for real?” You asked.
Hiei gave a bark of laughter at your observation.
“So you do know him well. Kurama's just fooling around. It's an obnoxious habit. He never creates his own strategy until he fully understands his opponent's.”
You were gonna strangle Shuichi when he was done fighting.
“Nice to know he over analyzes everything.”
You watched as they continued to have a stalemate. Though something had changed in Shuichi's expression. It was somber. Like he was contemplating something. Now was not the time for him to get distracted.
He let up on his assault along with his opponent. And right when he moved to haphazardly strike, Uraurashima dodged. Wrapping Kurama in his fishing line and pulling as hard as he could. Slicing into his skin.
You couldn't stop yourself from screaming out his name. Kuwabara instinctively pulling you behind him.
“Don't look, okay?”
Don't look? How could you not look. That was your best friend up there. No matter how badly you wanted to turn away, you couldn't. Looking on in horror as Uraurashima approached him. Surely Kurama had some other trick up his sleeve to protect himself?
But his eyes told you a different story. Frustration and anger. You don't think you've ever seen him mad before. He staggered on his feet, only for the onslaught to continue. It looked hopeless as he fled.
Your eyes widening with tears once he was cornered. There was nowhere to run. A forcefield in effect prevented him from doing so. His opponent presenting a box of some kind and opening it. Purple smoke poured out as he explained how it worked.
It would de-age Kurama. Turn him into a child where he couldn't defend himself. A cowards move. Only when the entire arena had been filled with smoke did your tears fall.
You were powerless to do anything. You couldn't help him even if you wanted to. Designated to nothing but a bystander in his fate. Your worst fear coming true.
It was silent for a moment. Complete silence as the Idun box worked its magic. Then all at once lightning struck. No, not lighting… it was a spike of spirit energy.
Your body shook as it tried to process the power around it. The force was almost strangling.
“Do you feel that, too?” Kuwabara asked before looking back at you. He visibly panicked seeing you struggle to breathe.
“Hiei! We need some help over here!”
The three eyed demon spared you a glance, giving an irritated huff as he pulled you towards him.
“Stand close to me. I should've known someone as weak as you wouldn't be able to withstand this much. Your body isn't used to this much spiritual pressure.”
He created a small barrier of his own energy around you. You took a few greedy gasps of air. Relieved to be able to breathe again. You offered a weak ‘Thanks.’ Still worried about what exactly was happening.
This power…Could it really have been Shuichi's? Or was it something else entirely? Was he even still alive?
“Where's all that weird energy coming from?” Kuwabara questioned.
Hiei only seemed to beam with pride.
“It's all Kurama. Down to the last drop.” He responded.
You wanted to start crying again. Your emotions all over the place. He was okay in there after all. Maybe he'd be able to find a way to win.
“But it feels different somehow, and a heck of a lot more powerful,” Kuwabara pointed out.
“That fool he's been fighting has turned him back into his demon form. Before he was tainted by you humans.” Hiei explained.
That caught your attention. A part of you defensive at his words.
“Tainted? It's not like we made him stay.” Like you'd ruined him with your presence.
“No, not directly. That doesn't change the fact you made him weaker. Soft.”
You wanted to question him about what he meant, but the sound of something crashing through the barrier stopped you. All at once the smoke started pouring out. The forcefield itself was destroyed. In a matter of seconds the arena was clear.
In its wake was a red demon with its neck pierced by a sword. Further away was….No. That couldn't be.
“Shuichi?”
You regretted calling out to him as soon as his name left your lips. The silver haired demon’s head snapped towards you. The pair of ears on his head seemed to twitch at your voice.
He was different, so very different from the man you knew. His demeanor felt cold. You briefly remembered what he used to be: a fox. If the ears and tail didn't already give it away. Wild and unpredictable. If your friend was in there, it sure didn't look like it.
You trembled at the intensity from his gaze. He made a gesture with his hand, as if reaching out before you felt the ground give way. You could feel yourself fall back, landing on something soft. You hardly processed yourself moving up until you were about ten feet off the ground. You realized then what you were on top of. A type of giant leaf was carrying you.
What the hell was going on? What was gonna happen to you?
You felt the leaf shift forward, and that was when you decided to call for help. For the one person who would probably know what to do.
"Hiei, help me!” You tried to reach down, but he backed away.
You let out a scream this time as the leaf rushed forward. Kuwabara tried to reach for you, but he was stopped by the three eyed demon.
“What gives!?!? Why aren't you helping them!?!”
“Fool. Don't interfere or you'll wind up dead.”
You couldn't hear them as you were pulled towards the other side of the area. Vaguely aware of Koto’s comments.
“Now this just took an interesting turn! The mystery fighter has taken interest in the human on the field! Is he perhaps looking for his next meal?”
You were at the edge of the arena shaking. It only worsened as who you assumed to be Yoko made his way towards you. Taking slow and meticulous steps. Like a predator stalking it's cornered prey.
Why you?
Why did it have to be you?
Why did you have to go and open your big fat mouth?
Maybe he wasn't satisfied with his previous fight. Wanting to take out whatever pent up aggression he had on you. A human who just so happened to be on the field. His expression hadn't changed once since he set his sights on you. Maybe he really was planning on eating you. It's not like it was against the rules.
He was halfway to you now. You could barely hear over the sound of your heartbeat in your ears.
“We'd really like to move on to the next match now, if you don't mind,” Juri said, now back to normal.
“Quiet.”
One word was all it took to have her trembling.
“Or not! Take your time.”
His voice sounded gruff. Harsher than any tone you'd heard him use. You knew Shuichi, or rather Kurama. The boy who used to give you flowers everyday after school until he got teased for it. The boy who loved his mother more than anything. The boy who you'd never known to like senseless violence. You knew he would never hurt you. Never dream of hurting you. But this…This was not him.
A quarter of the way there.
And then he was right in front of you.
This was Yoko. An infamous demon who’d committed heinous crimes. Far too many to count. Who could kill you with no more than a swipe of his hand. And he probably would. Sharp claws on the end of each fingertip. More than enough to finish you off.
You trembled on top of the giant leaf as his gaze pierced through you. His eyes didn't hold the same warmth as Shuichi's. The familiar emerald green replaced by a faded gold. They were cold. The color so light it held nothing but ice. You continued to shake in front of him. Hoping to catch a glimpse of your best friend.
“Do you fear me, sweetling?” He spoke at last.
Your words were stuck in your throat. Unable to answer him. Fearing what would happen if you didn't.
His hand started to extend out towards you. You'd flinched and closed your eyes at the sudden movement. Expecting the worst. This was it. He was gonna slash your throat. You braced yourself for the inevitable pain…but it never came.
Instead, he'd cupped your cheek. His thumb swiping away a stray tear. An action reminiscent of Shuichi. Your Shuichi.
“You shouldn't. Open your eyes and look at me.”
You could feel your trembling ease up. Was this a game? If it was, should you play along? You didn't know what to think at the moment. If you should relax in his presence or run. But there was something about the way he was cradling your face. It was gentle. So against your better judgment, you opened your eyes. Taking a deep breath as he guided your face up.
You looked into his golden irises in search of your best friend. They weren't as cold this time. Flecks of the emerald you were used to. The softness he looked at you with had returned. Or maybe it had never really left. Your shaking had stopped completely.
“Shuichi?” you called out once more. And this time he'd smiled at you. Somehow managing to get closer into your space. But you couldn't say you minded much. Your relationship had always been touchy.
“We are one in the same. Though it's a shame he hasn't staked his claim on you yet. I will not forgo the opportunity should we meet again.”
Your face scrunched in confusion at his words. Temporary moving out of his grasp.
“What do mean stake his claim?”
His expression turned amused at your question.
“Isn't it obvious? You're ours. Our precious little mate. Shuichi is hesitant to act on his feelings. But I am not.”
You felt the leaf shift down. Letting Yoko once again cup your face. This time guiding you to bump your forehead against his.
“I am yours devotedly until the end of time.”
You could feel your face burning with embarrassment. This whole time he'd liked you. Even in his purest form he was in love with you. Why had you been so scared of losing him?
Because you'd loved him too.
“Do my ears deceive me!?!? He's actually flirting with the human!?!? Well there goes my weekend.”
But this wasn't the place for that. He couldn't be distracted by you here. There was too much at stake. Maybe when this whole tournament was over, you could properly explore these feelings.
He was leaning closer to you.
Would you turn him away if he kissed you now?
You decided the tournament committee could shove it as his lips brushed over yours.
But before they could press down fully, a heavy fog engulfed him. He'd backed away from you. The silhouette of a fox appearing for a brief second. Then it vanished, into a ray of light with one last thing to say.
“Until we meet again, sweetling.”
The light had been so blinding, you had no choice but to look away. When the dust had settled, in front of you was a familiar redhead. His tail and ears completely gone. He'd retained his previous injuries. But other than that, he was fine. He stood in front of you with an unreadable expression.
“Are you kidding me!?!? After all that we didn't even get a proper kiss!!!! Where's the entertainment in that!?!”
All at once his face went red. He was almost never flustered. Then again, his feelings were just aired out to the entire stadium. Your relationship was aired out. You knew he was a private person, so this must've felt humiliating. The cooing from the audience sure as hell didn't help.
He scooped you off of the giant leaf without a word. Surprising you with how easily he picked you up. Clutching you close to him as he made his way off the arena. His face was burning, matching your expression.
“My apologies.” he said quietly.
You could do nothing but put your head between his neck and shoulder. Wanting to hide yourself from everyone's prying eyes.
“It's okay. I didn't mind. I mean, at first you scared me. But once I saw it was really you..” you trailed off.
There was a brief silence before Shuichi spoke again.
“You reciprocated Yoko’s advancements.”
“I reciprocated your advancements.” Because they were one in the same. Although it was a little amusing to see him get jealous of himself.
“I would've let you kiss me too.” you added.
He'd finally reached the end of the area and jumped down with you still in his arms.
“I plan making good on that promise once we finish up here.”

One weird day
Yuri (Izone) x Male Reader x Minju (Izone)
Length: 11644 words
Next part
Tumblr media
Highschool, such a mixed bag of memory and experience. For you, entering highschool has been very, scary. Not because you heard about how shitty it is. Mostly because you're not ready to grow up so fast. It felt like just yesterday you reached middle school, now you had to live to highschool, and prepare yourself for college?
"Stop dozing off idiot"
A sharp pain on your arm wake you up from your crippling mid life crisis, well, quarter life crisis. "Damn it I don't like highschool", Hearing your words Yuri just rolled her eyes on you. "We haven't even reach school for our first day stupid" You shake your head, "And I already hate feels good man"
"Come on we're gonna be late for our first day" Feeling the tug in your arm you tried to fight her only to fail miserably. "Bro we still have half an hour left for our 5 minute walk", Disregarding your complain Yuri grabbed your arm and made you sprint the rest of the way to school.
"Bro, you look smaller than before vacation", Your best friend, Jin greeted you when he saw you walk in the school grounds with Yuri dragging you. "Fuck you, did you grow again?" He nodded proudly, "Fuck yeah, 189 cm, soon I'll be in the NBA" Yuri rolled her eyes at him. "Heh, keep dreaming dumbass" Jin turned to the girls that's holding you. "Yeah, yeah, nice seeing you here too Yuri, I think you grew shorter", Jin have a thing with death, he likes to tease them by pissing Yuri off. "Damn it, bro help me"
Such a shame, he was so young too. Walking away from the crime scene you went to find your class. 1A, none of your friend is here. Of course you have two friend, one is dead the other killed him.
"Why you leave me bro, et tu brute?", Your ears tingle hearing that name. "Stop it with that name" You don't hate it, it's just weird. "Can't, your performance was too iconic", You left Jin to his injuries as you get in class and put down your bag.
Far back seat, next to the window, the anime protagonist seat. Except, the windows are tinted, a way to make sure the sun doesn't get in the students eye. And the view doesn't get to their mind. You heard Yuri loud footsteps chasing after Jin who bolted out of the area. As Yuri went pass your class she saw you and walked towards you.
"I'm in the same class with that idiot", How does she know? "How did you know?" She sighed, "I checked the announcement in the group chat", Ah yes, the group chat for all the new year students, you didn't read it.
"Idiot", Yuri slapped your head. "Damnit Yuri, go back to your class", She slapped your head again, "Class haven't started yet"
"Jin talked shit about your fatty arms", A bait, a bad one. "Woohoo, Brutus is getting karma" The classroom turns to a colloseum filled with your classmate cheers as Yuri is deconstructing your whole body with her punches. "I'm sorry", You let out a small whimper as she let you go. "Tchhhh", She snorted before leaving you to bleed out from your injuries.
"Hey Brutus, don't step my back when I'm paying attention in class okay?", The guy in front of you tried to befriend you. "Actually Brutus stab Caesar in the front so that he knows that he got betrayed" You don't mind getting new friend. "Oh yeah, fix your glasses when you do that", You're not wearing any. "Here use mine"
Watching the glasses he offered you stare at him silently before taking it. "Ackkshually, Brutus stabbed Caesar from the front to gloat over his dead body to announce his betrayal", He laughed at you before giving you a fistbump. "Perfect, I'm Doyoung"
"I'm-", "Brutus, I know", Seems like you made new friends on your first day.
You glanced at the entrance seeing, an angel. "Who is that?", Granted, you're not the most social person in your middle school, but you are sure you never saw the girl that just walk in. You would've remember someone that pretty.
"New chick, the guys went ham yesterday at the group chat trying to stalk her", Your friend seems to be in daze. The girl looked around before taking the seat next to me. "Act cool brute", You are acting cool, Doyoung isn't.
"I hate that name", Not really. "It suits you", It doesn't. "How", Doyoung just shrugged at you. "It just does", Brutus is not your real name, but it seems the name has already stick.
"Alright everyone, quiet down, get to your seat", Your homeroom teacher silent the class before starting the day, the year, the highschool life. The first class is math, and of course, you don't understand a single thing.
"Alright, let's have an exercise, complete this paper in a group of two please", Ah yes, making group, something you hated. "Brute", Doyoung turned to look at you. You wanted to say yes, but then you glanced to your right to see the new girl is looking around.
"You want to pair up together?", Bros before hoes, since you've only met Doyoung today, like 2 hour ago, he's not your bro just yet. "Uhmmm, okay", She nodded meekly.
Doyoung just stare at you with disbelief before his mouth formed a smile and he shake his head. "I'll get you for this", He mouthed with a smirk before turning to his other friend.
The teacher walked around giving the paper and hand it to you after asking who my partner is. The room got a bit noisy for a second with the sound of tables and chair cluttering as everyone combined their desk to work together. You looked at your new partner before using some geture to ask if she wants to merge desk. She nods so you moved yours to her.
"I'm Minju", She sound shy. "Hey, just call me Brutus, that's what everyone call me anyway", You don't know why you said that but you don't mind the rebranding of yourself. "Right, let's see the exercise", It was a ten question exercise all of which is our of your range.
"It's pretty easy", God hand you help using an angel called Minju. "Full disclosure here, I'm pretty stupid, so I'm sorry but I might be a dead weight", You're an idiot but not scummy. "No it's okay, I can help you", She tried, she really did.
"Listen here Min, I know you meant well, but I think we need to pause our tutoring session. There's not much time left and I already feel bad for dragging you down. You should finish it so you don't get your grade fucked up by me", Saying that made you cringe a little. She has helped you study a little but you just told her off to finish the assignment yourself.
"No it's fine", She waved her arms trying to convince you. "I really feel bad, I already drag you down with being your partner now I have to tell you to finish it off yourself but I really think you should just prioritise your own grade. You can write my name off the assignment", She looked at you for a second.
Oh fuck did I piss her off?
"Sorry, I-i-i-i'll finish it then"
Shit I pissed her off.
You just sat there quietly as she finish the whole assignment. As she finished, she didn't write off your name before handing it to the teacher.
"Sorry" She shake her head, "It's fine", It's probably not fine, for your pride. "It's fine really, I don't mind", She reassure you. "Now you make me feel worse", You accidentally gaslight her. "I don't mean to, it's really fine", She looked concerned. "I'm hurt" Now the position has turned, "What do I do to make you feel better?"
"Uhhhhhh, make me buy you lunch for payment?", Smooth, even Doyoung glanced from the side giving you a thumbs up. "I, okay then", Sweet, you just made another friend, doubling your friend size in the first day already.
"15 more minutes, if you finish your assignment already just raise your hand and I'll take it", Minju nervously opened a book and start writing. "What you doing?", You don't mean to snoop around, you're just bored. "Oh, nothing, it's nothing", She hurriedly close it before looking at you nervously.
"Sorry, don't mean to intrude"
"It's fine"
"You say that alot"
"Sorry"
"Nah don't be, I'm just curious that's all"
"Oh well, ask away"
Bonding time I guess.
"Where are you from?", Kim Minju, recently moved to Seoul, no friend in the school or the city. Likes photography and watching K-drama. As the class ended you went to the bathroom.
Getting a few moment of quiet Minju opened the book she hide from you earlier. It's a diary, where she wrote almost everything that happened in a day. You, been in the school since kindergarten, had a friend named Yuri who likes to, 'send you to god' occasionally. Likes reading and watching movies or show. Not very smart, pretty self aware and open about a lot of stuff.
Your favourite food is honey fried chicken and a strawberry smoothie. Likes cookies and sweet stuff as well. Hobbies include reading and spending the day in bed. During your attempt to know more about Minju you actually spend more time talking than her. Something Minju appreciate since she get to know more about you as well. When you returned Minju immediately closed the book and throw it to her bag.
"Well, should I move back?"
All the other classmates left their table and chair still merged while chatting. You don't want to make her uncomfortable so you asked if you should move. "No, it's fine", Alright, more bonding time. "Okay then, do you know what's next?", You obviously don't know or care about it, but you want to make some chitchat. "The class? From the schedule it seems like Korean?"
"What schedule?", You said confused. "The one in the group" Oh yeah, the group, are you even in it honestly? "Oh, I didn't read that", Carefree and ignorant about school. Minju made mental note for later.
The Korean class was fine, the teacher doesn't mind the seating position and just start handing out essays for us to analyse. "Are you having problem?", Minju think you're an idiot, not in a demoralising way, but in a concerned way. "No, I'm fine, look", She was throughly surprised seeing how through and detailed your comment was. "Oh right, you like reading", Good at literature, another mental note for her.
"Yep, it's I've read more fictional than not but it still have the same rule more or less", Minju seems intrigued. "What's your favourite series then?", You're surprised she's curious about it. "Mistborn, although I loved a lot but that one is the one I find myself revisiting often", Avid bookworm, another mental note. "Oh I like it too, although I haven't really read the second era", Minju like to read, in fact both of you spend the rest of the period to talk about some of your favourite series.
Once the first break came around you still busy talking to her about it. "Bro", Jin announced his arrival with a thunderous roar. He raised his eyebrow watching Minju. "Sup, meet Minju, she's new around town", Proudly, you show off your new friend. "Hello, I'm Jin", Oh, Jin is pulling out his flirting smile again. Yuri squinted at Minju for some reason.
They exchanged greeting, then both of them take the empty seat in front of us. "What's up with the seating here?", Jin said looking around, "Math, they had us do some assignments in a group of two", Yuri immediately know what you did. "And you burdened her by teaming up with her?", Yuri pinched your hand, Minju saw it and frowned. "It's fine, I really don't mind", Yuri still glared at me before smiling at Minju. "Sorry about this idiot, you should be careful he might drag you down", Jin saw a chance and took it, "That's right, if he cause trouble just call me and I'll take care of him"
Minju doesn't like your friend, she thinks they're demeaning you too much. So she grabbed your other hand. "It's really fine, I helped Brutus in math he helped me in Korean earlier", Yuri look at her hand grab which cause some unpleasant feeling in her stomach. "Brutus? You really want to take that silly name?", Jin laughed.
"Listen, some rebranding needs to be done okay?" Such a cheesy name, you rather find it quite funny. "It sounds silly", Yuri find it annoying, mostly because how you got the name. "I think it's pretty funny", Minju find it to be quite cheesy but it's right up her alley.
"Goddamn Brutus already being fight over by two goons", Doyoung came back with his friend. "Doy did you turn this idiot to Brutus?", Jin and Doyoung know eachother from basket you believe. "Perfect name honestly", Perfectly cheesy, "Don't you fucking call him that", Yuri glared at him, "Come on now don't kill me"
You see Yuri's head vein started to pop. You grabbed her hand that's pinching you. "Come on now Yuri, don't be rude to my new friend", You tries to defuse her anger. "Friend, I'm still mad at you for leaving me at math" Doyoung whoped his head dramatically. "Are you good at math?", He smiled at the argument. "Touche, I'm Doyoung by the way, nice to meet you", Jin stare at Doyoung seizing him up. Do note that he doesn't do that when Minju grabbed your arm.
"Oh hello, I'm Minju", Doyoung stare at the two hand you're holding right now before smiling at you. "Very smooth Brute", You stop holding the two girls hand. Minju find it to be unfortunate, she likes how warm your hand is. It's another thing she should add to her diary. Yuri hate it and happy that you let go. That's what she admits even though she felt some disappointment in her heart.
"Sorry guys, we need our seats back", Jin and Yuri reluctantly get off and left the class. "See you at lunch, Brutus" Jin peaced out. "Don't sleep in class again", Yuri is acting like your mom. Minju doesn't like her, she thinks she's too controlling. The word abuser has come up for her to describe Yuri.
Minju is a vixen trying to play with your heart. Yuri doesn't like her, she thinks Minju is up to no good. She kept a mental note to watch her.
"So, your friends seems.......", Minju struggled to find the right word. "Rude?", You helped her, "I was gonna say blunt, but yeah" She smiled. "I mean, that's just how they are", You're all young, politeness is not a thing yet. "You've known them for long right?", She needs to know more. "Well me and Jin know eachother around middle school. He just hangout with me sometimes" Jin doesn't seems like a bad person, but Minju would rather avoid him seeing the visible interest he has on her.
"Yuri, well we're neighbors, like her home is literally next to mine. We've been buddy since we were 3", For a moment Minju imagined what it feels like to have a friend like that. She felt jealous.
I want that, a childhood friend that's always been there for me.
The next period is English. You and Minju is good at the subject. You because you read some English novel, Minju because she's just perfect like that. So during the period you just talk to her some more. An enjoyable experience for you and Minju. Once the lunch break rang you grabbed her hand.
"Let's go to the cafeteria, before it got full", Minju happily grab your hand and hop with you to the cafeteria. "You want some tteokbokki with fried chicken?", Minju was busy enjoying your hand holding and stayed quiet. "Alright", You take her silence as an agreement.
When you wanted to lay she insisted that you alread repay her with the Korean essay but you shut her down by giving your money to the cashier before she can. "Really you don't need to do that", Minju seems kinda cute when she grumbled doesn't she? "Nonsense, come on let's find a place to eat", She has the same idea as you to sit at the corner of the cafeteria.
"Brutus has a new girlfriend already", Someone yells, "Hell yeah bro, on the first day too", Another follows. You're not sure where you get the attention from. It's mostly because the guys was already watching for Minju ever since they saw her in the group chat. Seeing her with you they felt a little dejected, but it's not like they are in a rush. It's only the first day after all.
"Goddamn I never been this acknowledge ever since, well ever", Do you mind it? Kinda. "Yeah, me too", You looked at her with a 'really?' face making her surprised. "Come on now look at yourself", Minju liked your compliments, she never liked being complimented by guys before. "Thank you", She said with a proud grin, "Alright diva", You two laughed as Jin joined you.
"Fuck I hate math, he took so long to teach now the cafeteria is already full", Minju decided to sit a little closer to you to discourage Jin from making a move. "Well, you won't get your food faster by sitting here", Thankfully you accidentally sends him off. "Fuck you", Just like how he come, he goes without explanation.
"What's our last period?"
"Hmmm? I think history"
"I hate history"
"Hahahaha, I thought you'll love it, Brutus"
"Since when does our history teach about the wacky Roman empire"
"Well, you got a point there"
As much as Minju is enjoying the lunch with you, it doesn't last long as Yuri came by. "Move Udon", Yuri is very persuasive, especially when she used her knee on your ribs. "Can you just drop that name already, and there's space there", She doesn't care so you reluctantly moved.
The seat was two seater facing eachother, but since all three are you small as a stick it fits. Minju is next to the wall but she doesn't mind since you get to be very close to her. "Mom wants me to buy some milk and eggs so we're getting a detour on our way home", Yuri feels the need to say that in front of Minju for some reason. "Feel fre to do so, I'm gonna go home and-", She denied your request with a slap to the head.
"That's not very nice", Minju grabbed your head. Some because she's concerned for you, some because she wants to feel up your hair. "Hey, mind your business princess", Yuri feel a weird agitation seeing Minju is caressing your head. "No way I'm letting you abuse your friend like this", Oh no, Yuri vein is popping again.
"Hey, I know this guy ever since I know how to walk, don't snoop around our friendship", Yuri grabbed your hand again. She hate it don't think that she want to hold your hand. In fact she's done it a thousand time already, so don't think anything weird is going on.
"Are you okay?", Minju disregard the angry Yuri and turned to you. This act of disrespect is not gonna slide so easily. "Hey, back off", Yuri glared at Minju, "You first, you're making this place feel small, and we got here first" Yuri rolled her eyes. "It's probably because you're fat", Minju doesn't seems to got hurt over it, she just smiled. "Hmmm? Is it? I guess you are too small to make a difference anyway. By the way are you sure you didj tleft your height in middle school?", Maybe, making 2 friends is s little too much for your new day.
"Girls please, can't we just have a normal lunch", The two looked at you with a frown. "Please?", They sighed but didn't let you go. "Are you okay?", Minju is running her finger through your hair.
Fluffy, can I keep holding on to it.
"I'm fine Min, thanks", She sighed and let go fo your hair. She will find a way to hold it later. "Yuri, can you let me go", Yuri glared at you, she's holding you to keep you safe. Yeah, that's all. "Yuri please", Knowing her for a while you know how to make puppy eyes that she just can't refuse. She can't refuse it because she felt pity seeing you so desperate. Obviously it's not because that look always gave her a heart attack.
"Fine", The two of them have some staring competition here and there but they don't cause any more trouble with you. Jin never came back to your table, you didn't look for him either. You're too busy to make sure no world war happened in the table.
"You shouldn't sleep at the next class Udon. You're in highschool now, the teacher won't be as lenient as before", Yuri scolded you, "I'll be fine", Since you all finished your food you drop down your hand which Yuri took to pinch, and hug. No not hug, she's locking it so you won't take it away.
"It's okay, if there's something you don't understand just ask me", Minju smiled at you and grab your other hand. It's nothing but skin on bones, she needs to change that. "Tchhh, the teacher can teach better"Yuri have a point. "Sometimes a little lesson from your classmates can help you better", Minju does not agree. "A smart one" Yuri scoffed, "Thank you"
Yuri's furious burning gaze and Minju's cold sinister gaze fight over eachother with you in the middle of it all. Yuri  then grabbed your hand tighter, pulling to between her boobs.
Oh fuck that felt good. What? No focus Yuri.
"Don't trust this girl, she's playing with you", She whispered in your ears. For the first time, your childhood friend that's basically your sister has turned into a, woman. Minju frowned and pulled your hand, so much so that you almost fall to her. Reactively you put down your hand to keep your balance. Minju felt disappointed until she saw your hand is between her thighs. With a mischievous smile she immediately wrapped it with her soft pale thighs.
Hmmm, I should move a little bit to the front.
Thankfully for you she didn't. "You know I think since you pay for my lunch I have a debt for you, what if I buy you some smoothie on our way back"
Fuck her thighs is so soft and smooth. Fuck since when did Yuri have such big boobs. FUCK WHAT IS HAPPENING.
"Girls please, let's get to class", Minju showed Yuri a triumphant smile making the latter frown even deeper. "Oh yeah mom is cooking some quiche tonight, come and join us for dinner okay", You love quiche, you don't love it when it's used against you. The two then send eachother glare yet again before the bell rang. "I'll see you later after school Yuri, come on Min time for our last period", Reluctantly the two of them let go of you. You were also reluctant of leaving their embrace. Min didn't let go of your hand much to Yuri dismay. As you two walk into your class she stick out her tongue to Yuri behind your back.
Fucking whore.
The history teacher told us to return our table to the previous state. Minju looked at you separating from her with a sad face. You're not stupid, you see what's brewing between her and Yuri. It's just, weird. Yuri have been your friend for so long you're practically inseparable. You've slept together, spend holidays together. Bath together when you were a kid. Yet today, she seems to find something new about herself regarding you. The changes has happened around late middle school already.
How she always try to protect you, how she doesn't like when other girl tried to group up with you. She's did not deter them from you, that part is on you with your edgy phase. Sometimes you would think about the future, and she will always be there. You think today, she was forced to confront that feeling seeing someone so pretty is around you. You can practically see the change in her mood the moment Minju came to comfort you after she hit you. It's like her whole existence is being tested.
Minju on the other hand is very pretty. Like pretty to anyone standard, but for you, she's the picture perfect manifestation of  beauty. Everything about her looks checked every box in your type. Then there's her personality. Kind and caring, patience too remembering she let you burdened her in math. Not to mention, she's actually a bookworm like you, how many girls you met actually have the same taste in book?
Her current situation is also perfect.
New girl in a new school, new town even remembering she said she just moved in nearby. A secluded girl who seems to be the perfect girl for your type. How many guy would kill to have this exact chances. While you were thinking this, your two friend is also thinking about the same thing.
Minju liked you, she felt a certain familiarity with you after one day. Just like how she's perfect for your type you're also, well, passable for her type. Personality wise, too early to judge but seems promising. Hobbies and interests, perfect fit. Looks? A little too skinny but she don't mind, helping you. More than that, she projected her old memory to your current friendship with Yuri. She wants to protect you, she wants to make sure you never go through what she did. Of course, she's reading too much into it, but she doesn't know that.
Yuri is in turmoil. Somehow, today, your smile seems very different than usual. Your touch seems way more warm. Your stupid smell is also lingering in her mind. She is angry at you for making her feel that way, distracting her from class. Yet above you, there's Minju, someone she's throughly furious at. The new girl just moved in and suddenly got all close and friendly to you? Minju is up to no good, that's the consensus Yuri has reached. She needs to stop Minju, she won't let her hurt you. She might be covering her anxiety of losing you with some stupid reasoning, but she doesn't know it.
The day ended, as Minju was pacing up her things she saw you is ready to leave. No, she can't let you leave yet, you're gonna be taken to the hand of that abuser. "Wait", She grabbed your hand. She has grow fond of the feeling from your soft hands. "All okay Min?", The little name he got for you made her believe that your friendship is already a strong one. "Can we, go walk together?", Inside you is two wolf. One want to spend more time with Minju and solidify your first day friendship. One doesn't want to be in the middle of war again.
"Sure, where do you live?", The former won, the latter screamed that you will regret this with it's last dying breath. "It's just down the street actually, 5 minute walk", Seeing you accept, Minju immediately grabbed her things and put it in her back quickly.
"Let's go", Minju speed up for two things, one she doesn't want to make you wait, second she sees other guy is trying to talk to her. In order to deter anyone from making a move she wrapped her arm around you. A gesture, you appreciate very much. The two of you walked out your class to see Yuri is waiting for you. The gesture isn't as appreciated as before.
"Minju want to walk home with us", With you, she wants it with you. Yuri's face contorted before grabbing your other hand and start dragging you out of the school. "Yuri slow down", You tries to stop her. "Mom need to make her quiche you're gonna make her wait too long", Yet feeling your hand yanked Yuri back, a painful feeling starts to stab her heart.
"Calm down first, Min where's your house?", Minju gloat over Yuri's visible turmoil. "It's down this street, right in that corner, that one", You can actually see her house from the school, it's on the way to your home and right after the convenience store. "Oh perfect, that's on the way home, come on let's get some milk and eggs", Minju smiled to Yuri who is frowning.
The three of you made your way to the convenience store. It was supposed to be milk and eggs, but Minju seems to have a shopping list to fill. "What are you doing, we need to go home", Yuri doesn't like that Minju is holding you up.
"Sorry, I just need a dark chocolate bar", Minju continue dragging you through 5h3 store. "If you really sorry let go of him and go find it yourself. It's faster", Minju stared at Yuri for a second before looking at you. "Ehmm, go find it Min, we'll wait at the cashier", This time, it's her that went to a turmoil, making Yuri smile victoriously. Minju hurriedly scurry off while Yuri dragged you to the entrance.
"You need to stop talking to her", You look at her confused. "What? Yuri are you insane?", She grit her teeth hearing you,"She's up to no good, I just know it", Yuri hate seeing your confused face.
He doesn't know, I need to protect him, I can't let him get hurt because of some whore trying to play with his heart.
"Yuri, we just met today, I'm getting to know her. She's nice, funny, beau-" She doesn't like it, she doesn't like hearing you praise Minju. "You don't understand", She might yell the last part too hard. Seeing everyone in the streets turn to her all the blood on her body start to rush to her face. "I, let's talk about it later", The second wolf was right, you will regret this.
Not long you saw Minju walk out to you. "Sorry for taking too long", Her smile, it's quite pleasant to look at doesn't it? "No problem", Your smile is also quite pleasant to look at, according to her.
"Look, try this on", Minju bring out a sunglasses and put it on you. "You buy a sunglasses?", You laughed fixing it's placement on your face. "I don't know, it looks cool", It's also at a scammy price. "Ughhh, come on, you've stalled us long enough", Yuri pulled you to walk again.
Tumblr media
You felt Minju tugged your other arm. Looking back at her you see she has her phone out and took a picture of you. "Huh?", You're not really sure how to respond to that. "Oh no, you look cute when you wear it", Oh, you actually managed to spend the day with her without blushing once. Until now. "Hahaha, the glasses is really good on you", Another picture of you, looking away while the blush is creeping up in your face. "That's your house right? Bye bye", Yuri was squeezing your hand seeing Minju is flirting with you. "Okay, see you later oppa", Since when did you become her oppa? Both you and Yuri was pondering that question when Minju walked into her house.
"Alright, see, she's nice", Yuri just grimaced at you. "Take that sunglasses off", Oh you still wearing it. "Oh fuck, Minju", You ran after Minju while Yuri is squeezing your hand even harder. "Awww, Yuri stop it", She didn't, so you just continue walking in defeat. "Minju, your glasses", Minju walked out of her house again. "Keep it, I didn't buy you smoothie today", Is this gonna be a war between you and her? "Come on take it back", She shake her head while smiling mischievously. Damn does it pierced your heart. "If you don't like it, you can repay me tomorrow, good bye, see you later", She winked at you. Oh yeah this is war, of kindness and favour.
Yuri is fuming, "Alright see you tomorrow", You immediately drag Yuri with you. This time, the chance of murder is actually high enough to be a possibility.
During the walk Yuri can't stop hugging your arm. Her finger occasionally pulled on your jacket, her nails sometimes sinked to it piercing to your skin. "Yuri you're gonna make me look like a cat attack victim" Your hand tried to held hers making certain feelings wells up in her. "Shut up", You shut up.
Yuri dragged you into her house, against your will. "Yuri, don't kill your boyfriend on your first day of highschool", Her mom laughed seeing you two. "He's not my boyfriend", Yuri screamed while putting the groceries on the table before dragging me down to her room.
"Yuri, what is happening to you?", You rubbed your arm. "What is happening to me? You were the one who act like a stupid boy being overdosed by hormone chasing a whore like her" You felt your anger raise hearing her say that. "Yuri, Minju is not a whore", Your cold voice surprised Yuri which she hide by more yelling. "Yeah? I see how she acts around you, she put your hand between her legs just to tease you, she's a fucking whore", For the first time in forever, you actually got angry to Yuri.
"She's not a whore and I don't appreciate your fucking jealousy ruin my new friendship" Yuri's face contorted at your words. "What jealousy are you talking about idiot, you think I did this because I'm jealous of her?", Yuri felt her hand shaking, of all the time you scolded her you've only fought back a few times, enough to be counted in one hand. Yet now, out off all the time you could've fight her you choose today. "Listen, she's a-"
Hail Mary this shit.
You reached out to hug her. You know Yuri doesn't like physical touch. Ever since you two were 15 she stopped hugging you or holding your hands. She become self aware about her own sexuality and stop the physical touch between you. So today, seeing her so touchy with you, it might require drastic measures to calm her.
Why did you never hug me again? I've been missing your touch.
Yuri take a deep sniff of your body. If not for today she might forget how it felt. Your little skeletal body feels so warm and, calming for her. "Yuri, Minju is a nice girl, and I want to befriend her. Relax okay, she won't take me away from you", Your voice seems so calming, since when did you have such a deep voice.
Oh god, I am falling for him. All those time I denied him from any physical touch. I was rejecting my own feelings. Mom is right, this is my boyfriend. And I won't let that fucking whore get him.
Tumblr media
As you were waiting for her to respond you felt a sharp pain on your chest. "Yuri", You pulled away from the hug only to find Yuri is already hugging you tight. "Acckkkk, Yuri stop", She let go, looking at you with..... Ecstasy.
"I don't like her, at all", Maybe hugging her was a terrible idea. "Yuri please-" She cuts you off with a finger to your mouth. "But I'll let you befriend her, for now", Well, not, a terrible idea?
"Thank you", She doesn't like hearing your relieved sigh. "On two conditions", No such thing as a free meal. "One, if she got touchy or flirty with you then I'm calling it off", Oh no, you realised you force her to confront her feelings and accept it. "And two, we are sleeping together", Still hugging you, Yuri felt your heartbeat rises, something she take pride off.
He's so nervous, that means he like me too. Oh god I was so stupid, if I would just let us continue our antics we would be married by now.
"What?" Your voice break a little. "We're sleeping together again, at my house, at your house, I don't care" Yuri sinked her head to your chest. "Yuri you know we can't do that?", You can, but you need to make up an excuse. "Why not?", Yuri suddenly whined like a kid making you very surprised.
"Because we're already grown ups", She frowned before grabbing your arm and pulled you downstairs. "Mom I'm sleeping with oppa", Two girls make you their oppa today. "Oh? That's a quick change, okay honey have fun", Yuri smiled happily before dragging you back to her room.
"Yuri, since when am I your oppa" The whole thing is so confusing. "Since now, get on the bed, we're having a nap", Without waiting Yuri throw you to the bed and jumped on you.
"Yuri" You tried to sat up. "Ssshhh, go to sleep oppa, I'll be right here, I'll keep you safe", Out of your expectations she reached in and kissed your cheek. Something that scares you, also arrouse you a little. "Don't be so nervous oppa, I promise I won't bite again if you play nice", That's a lie, she will bite you again, but later. "Yuri, I need to change my clothes and- ackkk", What a nice boyfriend, you gave her the chance to bite you again now. This time, it's on your neck. Despite you flaunting your limbs she doesn't stop until she's finished.
"There, that'll look good on you, oppa~~", Your hand reached out to grab your neck, feeling the stinging pain as you touch it. "Did you leave a mark?", She just giggled before putting her head on your chest again. "Yuri" Yuri pulled back your hand and sleep. "Enough oppa, it's been a long day, get some rest", She put her finger on your lips, and you feel she will put another thing on it if you keep resisting. Reluctantly you lay your head down, closing your eyes."Good night oppa, my oppa"
As you and Yuri is having a nice, platonic sleeping session, Minju is busy writing down her diary. All the detail she notices from you. All the funny feelings she has for you. She printed out the picture she took of you before and glued it to the diary. Writing and writing on, she didn't realised she's taken 16 pages writing just about you. The day already settled as the sun sets. Your two pictures is hanging on her desk. The realisation kicked in like a truck.
It's love at first sight. That's right, he's my soulmate, oh god I'm so lucky. So what if he's a guy, love doesn't care about sexuality or gender.
She quickly stripped out the name she have for you at her diary entry. The title of your page turned from 'First friend' to, well you know, 'Boyfriend' obviously.
I need to make some brownies for oppa, I can call him tonight, I can meet him again.
First thing she needs to do, is help you gain some weight.  You're perfect as you are, but she's scared you might break your bone from a falling leaves. Founding a new motivation her small elegant steps echoed around the empty house.
Around 5 PM you woke up, seeing Yuri is biting your chest. "Yuri", Surprised by your voice Yuri looked at you with an excited smile. "Morning oppa", Without warning you felt a soft pair of lips pressing up against yours. The kiss was so gentle, you almost didn't believe it was Yuri who's kissing you.
I'm kissing him, I'm actually kissing him, oh oppa how much I wished I never reject this feelings.
The kiss ended the polar opposite of how it started.
Slowly you two pulled away from eachother.
Your forehead still pressing up against eachother.
Your soft breath intertwined with hers.
Yuri was staring at your lips, her hand reached out to grab her cheek and her thumbs gently caressed your lips.
Her eyes darted upward to see your are in a daze.
"I love you oppa"
She whispered so quietly you felt like she was just breathing normally.
"Oppaaaa, I love youuuuu"
She hummed it as she pulled up.
"I, I don't know Yuri"
Intoxicated by the kiss and her own delusion, Yuri find your answer to be a cute reaction to hide your embarrassment.
"It's okay oppa, you can answer me later"
She came down again to give you a peck on your mouth.
"I need to take a shower"
Surprisingly Yuri let you go.
"I'll see you at dinner oppa, mwah"
She kissed your neck sending tickling sensation through your body.
You ran to your home, your loud footsteps drawn your sister attention.
"Where did you go?"
You saw her spawend in front of you.
She was just standing there, you actually got so much in your mind that you didn't realise it.
"I was just, with Yuri"
That's the usual explanation you had for her, now it felt so different for you.
"Ohhhh? I see, go take a shower then, and button your chest"
You looked down to your chest to find it riddles with lipstick mark.
"I need to go"
The only thing you heard from her is the echoing laughter that will haunt you in your dreams tonight.
You looked at yourself at the mirror, your mouth is so red that it might be mistaken as a cherry.
A cold shower, a really ice cold shower is exactly what you needed.
After finishing up your shower you saw a text from Minju.
"She wants to meet? Tonight? Fuck"
You tried to come up with some excuse.
The problem is, she can see that you're typing, so she called you.
"Fuckkkk"
You screamed, yet you answer anyway.
"Hey oppa, I was sorry for stalling you up earlier, so I thought I'll make it up to you"
Think fast cowboy, if you say no, it will mean that Yuri might discourage Minju tomorrow.
If you say yes, you might have a your lifespan shortened.
"I, don't know, I still owe you for the sunglasses"
"Hehehe, it's okay, you look good in it, come here oppa"
The Hail Mary strategy from before failed.
.
.
.
But it won't fail twice in a row right?
"Okay, I can see you now"
"Perfect, see you here~"
You have 2 hour till dinner, you get dressed and ran downstairs.
"Noona, I'm going out, I have dinner at Yuri, and, probably gonna spend the night there"
Your sister smiles at you.
"Okay, have fun, don't forget to buy condoms, in fact I still have it from the last time my boyf-"
You are not taking three hail Mary strategy today.
You ran off to Minju's place, the moment you got at her fence you saw her walked out the house.
"Hey oppa, come on"
She grabbed your hand and hurriedly pulled you inside.
Her house, is big, you didn't realised it before since Yuri is tearing your hand apart while Minju is tearing your heart.
"Look, brownies"
The smell of freshly baked brownies made your stomach grumble.
"You made this?"
"Yep, I learned baking for a while now, come on sit, I'll prepare a plate for you"
She sat you down at the living room couch.
Looking around, this house looks expensive as fuck.
The wood walls, the high ceiling, the black marble kitchen counter.
Minju really is a princess.
She came back with a plate of brownies and a glass of, vanila smoothie?
"I know you like strawberry smoothie but I only have vanilla, I'll buy some strawberry tomorrow"
God damn the Minju option is getting more and more enticing.
"Dig in oppa"
She sat next to you and hugged your arm.
You noticed her outfits, a thin white shirt with a red side stripe pants.
No bra, and her short is pulled up so high you might be able to take a glimpse to her-
Brownies, yeah, you're eating brownies.
"Thank you Min, you really don't have too"
She smiled seeing you eating her brownies.
It was really good, you never really buy any brownies outside the store one so this homemade brownies taste heavenly.
"You want to go out with me oppa?"
You felt a piece got inhaled to your respiratory system making you cough.
"Come on slow down oppa, I still have a lot more for you"
She laughed seeing you coughed up the brownies before swallowing it down.
"Here, drink this"
She take the smoothie and you sip it.
It's a very enticing option really.
"Min, we just met today"
A fair argument.
"We're soulmate oppa, I feel it the moment we've met, I love you"
A strong counterpoint, mostly because of her face, and body, and voice, and brownies. It's a bit unfair for you isn't it?
"Listen-"
She crawled on top of you, putting her closing statement to the argument.
"Sssshhhh, don't be scared, time doesn't matter. We're getting together sooner or later, so just starts now"
The second part of her closing statement is her soft lips pressing up against yours.
If the aggressive and impatient Yuri had a super soft and gentle kiss.
The gentle and elegant Minju have a passionate and aggressive one.
Her tongue slitehered into your mouth, pulling yours to a fight.
You weren't sure if it's because your mouth is still coated by the brownies and smoothie but her kiss felt so sweet.
Minju looked at you with a lustful eyes.
"Stay the night oppa, I want to spend it with you please"
"I, I have a dinner with Yuri"
Why did you say that?
Minju felt annoyed, that's right, annoyed, not angry.
She find Yuri to be a non competitor but an annoying flies between you two.
"Please oppa? I'll make you a tasty dinner"
Ah shit, what now?
"Are you, free after dinner?"
It's an acceptable term.
"Okay then, when is your dinner?"
"In an hour"
"Then we have an hour"
You didn't have to ask for what because she returned back to kissing you.
As much as you were enjoying her kiss your mind is pulling out a plan.
You need more time to make your decision.
So you have to make this two girls have a ceasefire until you made up your mind.
"Min"
You pulled away from her aggressive kiss.
She frown at you, oh no, she's so cute.
"Aren't your parents gonna be mad when they walked in seeing us?"
"Oh, my parents doesn't live here"
"What?"
"Yeah, they bought the house for me to stay in during highschool"
A princess.
She lay down her head to your neck, to find, something.
"This wasn't here before"
Her cold finger touch the bitemark Yuri gave you.
Tumblr media
"Yeah, something happened"
As she raised her head you can feel the temperature dropping down below 0.
"Oppa, I really don't want to ruin your mood by making you break your relationship with her. But if this is the kind of relationship you have with her-"
"It's not, it's complicated okay?"
Minju is not satisfied with your answer, but there's another matter to deal with for now.
She leaped to your neck, and bite it.
"Min"
The hickey from her felt, sensual, mostly because she's grinding on you.
"Min I need to go"
You hear her growl before she let go of your neck.
"Come back soon okay oppa? Don't make me wait too long"
"I promise it won't be long"
She smiled happily and gave you another kiss before seeing you off.
You opened your phone to see Yuri has been calling you non stop.
Gritting your teeth you ran to her house.
Her parents look at you surprised.
"Yuri just went to get you in your house"
"Oh I was from the convenience store, I'll go get her"
Let's try to calm her down before dinner with the parents.
"Where were you"
Yuri bolted to you the moment she saw you walk to your bedroom.
"I'm sorry I wa-"
"With that whore"
Her grip tightens on you.
"Yuri after-"
"She even marked you, oppa you were cheating on me?"
"Listen Yuri, I need you to come with me after dinner okay?"
She looked at you angrily.
"I need to talk to both of you"
"There is nothing to talk about, we belong together, we're already together since we know how to walk and we will still be together until we die"
She shake your body while her eyes got teary.
Tumblr media
"Listen, Yuri, can you just, listen to me for once"
Within Yuri mind, a thought is forming, the thought is that she's losing the fight.
It hurts her, it hurt her very much, it's so painful she might just break.
"Why, why oppa I know you for so long already, why did you have second thoughts already? Just because of some girl you met today?"
"Yuri, I just want to make sure"
"Fine, I'll make amends with her"
You're not really sure what she meant by that.
"Thank you Yuri"
Yuri will have you in her life, she will make sure you're not taken away from her, even if she has to compromise with a whore.
Your hug managed to calm her down.
"Yuri, are you crying?"
She answer with her muffled sobs.
"Yuri... Calm down"
You caressed her hair as she hugged you.
"Oppa, don't leave me"
"I won't Yuri, I won't"
"Don't leave me"
"I won't"
"Oppa"
"Yes Yuri?"
"Oppaaa"
You keep answering her as she calm herself down.
Yuri like the way your finger ran through her hair, it's so comforting.
It's decided, she will have to compromise, anything to keep you in her life.
"Yuri let's fix your hair"
You don't want her parents to start asking questions.
A smile formed on her face seeing you wipe her tears and brush her hair.
"I think that's good enough, let's go"
She didn't move, her smile was frozen in place so is her body.
"Yuri?"
"I love you oppa"
"I-"
"It's okay, come here"
She reached out to pull you for a kiss.
So soft and slow, especially compared to Minju's kiss from earlier.
"Let's go"
She whispered before pulling you to her house.
"Bye you two, don't forget to use protection"
"Noona"
"We will unnie, bye"
You glared at Yuri who's smiling happily.
"Ah there you are, well come on, dinners ready"
Yuri grabbed your hand and intertwined her finger with yours.
Her parents smiled seeing her actions.
You two sit next to eachother while facing her parents.
"So, what happened between you two"
Her mom is smiling curiously while her dad, he just doesn't care.
"I'm dating now"
"Good for you sweetie, and you too darling, you two are so perfect together"
"Thanks mom"
Yuri kissed your cheek while you're just sitting there eating.
"Dad aren't you gonna congratulate me?"
"No, you two are meant to be anyway so it's just the matter of time"
"Tccchhhh"
Yuri's dad is an absolute apathetic, her mom is a gossip girl, how did Yuri become an MMA fighter?
"How was your first day in highschool?"
"Everyone called oppa Brutus now and he just force them too"
"Really? Because of that drama?"
"Yes"
You can't really eat properly since Yuri is busy cuddling with you, at the dinner table, in front of her parents.
"Yuri, sweetie, why don't you take your boyfriend to your bedroom, you two seems like you need a room"
Her mom said as we finished the dinner.
"Me and oppa is going out for a walk, see you later Mom, bye dad"
Yuri and I walked to Minju's place.
"What is she doing here?"
Minju's open hostility made Yuri answered with her own. However she managed to keep herself calm.
Be patient, I need to be patient for oppa.
"Can we get in?"
Minju carefully eyes Yuri before grabbing your free arm.
The three of you sat at the living room, the two girls refused to acknowledge the existence of the other one.
"Listen, I know, you two are in love with me"
"I love you more, we're soulmates"
"I know you longer oppa, we are already meant to be together"
"Shut up, now, Minju, I know you for one day, Yuri, we've been growing up as friends, until today. So I can't make a decision yet"
"What decision, we are soulmate oppa"
"Shut up, oppa is talking"
The two exchanged glare for a moment.
"I need sometimes okay? I need time to make my mind, and I want you two to have a ceasefire until I made my decision"
The two doesn't like your proposal.
"How long"
"A month at least"
"No, a month at most"
Minju is very unpleased.
"Oppa, I need to talk with Minju"
"No, you two gonna kill eachother"
"Oppa, just leave for a second, I promise I won't kill her"
Minju stare at Yuri cautiously trying to gauge her intentions.
"Minju?"
"Fine, wait in the kitchen oppa, you can watch us from there"
Reluctantly you left the two girl to their own devices.
Yuri and Minju stare at eachother for awhile.
"Share him"
Minju definitely didn't expect that.
"What?"
"I'm not losing him, and I don't like to gamble, so share him"
"Are you stupid? Why would I share him when he's already mine"
"Because you might also lose"
The two stare at eachother angrily.
"We're soulmates"
"Does he know that?"
"I will make sure he does"
"I know him long enough to know he's not believing those kind of things"
"You know him for so long yet he still thinking about me, the girl he met in the first day"
Yuri felt her patience is slowly draining.
"Just share him with me, we can get a piece together"
Minju is not stupid, she knows the possibility of her losing you is a 50/50.
Yet she still doesn't trust Yuri.
"Why?"
"What?"
"Why you want to share him? You're antagonising me the whole day and you want to make peace with me?"
"Because he's conflicted. And I know, if he chooses you it will hurt, so much I might lose my mind. And if he chooses me, he will feel hurt for hurting you that I might also feel guilty"
Those thoughts has also went through Minju's mind.
"You're scared aren't you"
"Of course I am"
"To me?"
"My whole life I've known him and you come in and managed to threaten my position in the first day, of course I'm scared"
For a second, Minju realised, Yuri might not be as bad as she thought.
"Awwww, are you insecure?"
Minju patted Yuri's head making the latter frown.
"Don't do that"
"Hehehe, you're just a timid little girl aren't you, I'm sorry for scaring you"
"Minju stop it"
"Fine, I agree, I'll share him"
Seeing the changes on Yuri's face Minju felt a little relieved. Yuri might be a good partner to have as well.
She's cute, pretty, also when she got all embarrassed like this it make her heart flutter.
"Let's set up the ground rule then"
"Fine, we're the same priority, no main girl or something like that"
"That one is acceptable, second is group chat. I don't want any private chat between us and oppa. Everything need to be said in the group chat"
"That's, acceptable too I guess. Then you can't have too much date. If we both have two date and you took him out in one you can't have another one after I get one"
"You read my mind cutie"
"I'm not cute"
"But you're blush is so-"
"Stop it, another one is I want a budget limit on our dates"
"Oh come on, I want to pamper him"
"I can't keep up with your money, look at this house, you're definitely rich"
"I am, and that's okay cutie, he will still love you even though you won't be as rich as me"
"Fine, guess I'll just have to take him to dates with my family and parade him as my boyfriend"
.
.
.
.
"So the spending limit, let's say, 100 thousand won?"
"Are you insane?"
"Ughhh, fine, how about this, I won't take him to super expensive place, and we don't buy him anything. Our gifts need to be made by ourself"
"Good, I like that"
"Butttt, I want to buy him some new clothes, I want my boyfriend to dress well"
"Ughhh, his wardrobe is so bad"
"Hehehe, shopping trip with us then"
Minju hugged Yuri making the latter develop a smile.
"I'm looking forward to work with you, Minju"
"I'll be looking forward to work with you too, Yuri"
You are watching this weird interaction and was completely baffled seeing the two girl hug.
Ah shit I made them gay and fell for eachother.
Then the two of them turned to you with a creepy smile.
The wolf you pick has changed sides and tell you this is a bad idea.
"Oppa, come here"
You're not sure which one called for you.
Slowly you walked back to them.
Once you're close enough Yuri grabbed you and sat you down between her and Minju.
"Alright oppa, we will have a ceasefire"
Minju draw around your chest with her finger.
"Good, I promise one-"
"Forever, because we don't need to fight for you anymore"
Yuri start nibbling on your arm.
"What?"
"We are sharing you, aren't you happy oppa?"
It would be a lie if you never thought of the harem option. It would also be a lie if you think that the option is a genuine option to take. Yet, it's also a lie, if you say you're not excited right now.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I can't believe you're actually second guessing yourself for a girl you just met today oppa, bad oppa"
You felt a sharp pain in your shoulder as she sank her fang to it.
"That's okay oppa, I won't make you have the painful responsibility to hurt one of us, so we compromise"
Minju kissed your cheek.
"So first of all oppa, you have to love us equally"
"That's right, we are also using a group chat for now on, no private chat between us"
"Then, we will keep track of how much date to make sure it's fair", Notes, you need notes. And maybe some water splashed to your face. "Are you two, actually, serious"
The two of them looked at you, stare at eachother before attacking you. The two of them wrapped one arm around your neck locking it in place. Then they kissed your cheek. So synchronized, so creepy. Of course you're overwhelmed already so you're not feeling the desperate self preservation your brain is trying to send off.
"You're our boyfriend now okay?","Our oppa" They are synchronized now. "Okay, okay, okay", The two are ecstatic with your response and giggles before they bite your neck.
"Ahhhh, girls", Your moan of pain only made them even more excited. "Who kiss first?", Yuri raised her hand in response, "Rock-paper-scicors"
Yuri won and get the first bite of your lips. The lips of her new boyfriend. Minju is watching you with smiles all over her face. Once Yuri had enough fill she slowly parted from you, her mind is in a daze. She tried to inhale as much as your scent. "You're so shy when you kiss Yuri, so cute", Minju smiled.
"I'm not cute", The sight of your tomboyish childhood friend turning to a tomato is too cute. "You are kinda cute", You supported Minju's words. Yuri hide her face letting out a squeal before dropping to your chest.
"Hehehehe, my turn", Minju crashed her lips on to yours. Her passionate kiss only seems to get rougher as time went on. Your tongue and lips turned numb at the end. Minju is happy with how meek you are, such a perfect boyfriend.
As you two pulled away you saw Yuri is watching you two in a daze. "See? That's how you kiss cutie", Yuri frowned. "I'm not a horny bitch like you" Yuri pouted, "Really? Our boyfriend seems to like it"
She turned to you who's still in a trance. "Oppa", Yuri pouted making you wake up from your daze. "Yuri it's fine", Doesn't convince her. "Here, let me teach you" Before any of you can react, Minju grabbed both of Yuri's cheek before kissing her. Oh boy, it's getting harder and harder, you know what it is.
As they parted you see Minju is smiling at Yuri with a mischievous smile while Yuri was in a trance. "On second thought, your soft kisses are also enjoyable, good job cutie", Minju's hand let go of Yuri and wrapped itself around you. The two of them slowly came to hug you and stay quiet for, an hour?
"It's late already, we should go home", You don't want to go home, but things might escalate if you stay. "Come on, sleep with me, I want to sleep with oppa", Minju tightened her hug on you. "I told mom I'm going to sleep with oppa tonight" Yuri looks conflicted if anything, "So do it here, with me too" Minju said. "How though, I can tell mom I'm sleeping at oppa's place", You opened your phone to check if the coast is clear. "Then, I should ask Noona"
"Who's Noona", Minju squinted her eyes angrily. "My Noona, my older sister", They still have their jealousy trait, that's good to know. "Oh that's fine then", She smiled and turn to cuddling you again. You see your sister already texted you that she's leaving for the night so I can use the house.
"Oh? Should we move to your bedroom then oppa?", Minju whined at Yuri in response. "Here is better, I'm living here alone", Minju said making Yuri raised her eyebrow. "What?" Minju then smiled confidently, "Yep, mom and dad buy me this house for my highschool life", You hear Yuri curse under her breath but you can't make out what."Okay princess, but oppa's house is also empty, and that way I can also show to mom I am sleeping at oppa's place"
"Empty?", Minju turned to you. "Oh yeah, my parents passed away a while ago", She looked at you with concern and guilt. "Oh baby, I'm sorry",Well, a kiss always a good way to cheer someone up.
"We should go out to a date this week"
"Three of us"
"Of course cutie, I won't leave you"
"Let's go to the park again"
"Let's, go to my place, because I'm tired"
The two of them smiled and kissed your cheek. "Let me put on something more covering clothes then", Minju let go of you and skipped away.
"She's such a vixen", You tuned to Yuri who's doesn't seems to be mad."Yuri?", She turned to you, "I don't mind it, but she's too flirty, she might try to take your virginity oppa", This, is going to fast no? "I mean, Minju is a bit more, brazen? But I don't think-", She put her finger on your mouth to shut you down. "She will give you your virginity, and so do I, the question is who will take yours"
Alright, how do you tell them you're not a virgin anymore. "I'm back, let's go", Minju is wearing a baggy sweatpants and jacket. "Right, let's go", Maybe they don't need to know.
The three of you walk back to your house, you slipped Minju in while Yuri tell her mom she's sleeping at my place. "Hmmm, this place, smells just like you", Minju was looking around your bedroom with lusty eyes. "I miss sleeping at your bed again oppa, come on"
Yuri is definitely thinking about something other than sleeping. You lay on your bed with the two girls hugging you. Minju take off her sweatpants and jacket turning back to the previous very open and very thin outfit. Yuri actually changed as she went to her house earlier to a big oversized t-shirt that cover her mini pants.
"Oppa, this bed is so comfy, I can't believe you've been sleeping here with him this whole time"
"Hehehe, childhood friend advantage"
"Ssshhh, let me sleep"
"Yuri, you're thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Yeahhhh, oppa, we want some goodnight kiss"
Minju jumped on you and start making out with you. She pulled your hand in between her crotch and start grinding on it. "That's unfair", You hear Yuri whined.
As you are busy kissing Minju you felt Yuri pulled your hand inside her t-shirt. "Rub it baby", Minju moaned, you comply and starts rubbing her pussy through her pants making her moan.
Your other hand was led to Yuri's bare tits. "Squeeze it oppa", You comply again and made her moan. This continue for sometimes before you felt the wet pants Minju is wearing pushed itself onto your finger.
"I'm coming oppa", She pressed her forehead to your temple as she whispered in your ears. You saw her body quivered for a moment before slumping down. Yuri the jumped to your free mouth and start to get her own kiss. Your hand travel down to her pussy and starts doing the same thing you did with Minju. Your other hand travels up to start massaging Minju's breast.
Just like before Yuri started quivering and pressed her head to your neck. "I'm cumming oppa", She screamed, thankfully your house is empty.
"Oh my god, that was great"
"Yeah, we should repay the favour now"
The two of them look down to your erect cock."So big","So warm" The compliment only made you even hornier.
You felt one of them grabbed it through your clothes making you moan. "You're so hot when you moan oppa", Who said that? "Let's get this out of the way", Who said that too?
Feeling your pants being pulled down your cock got free from it's cage and the cold air washes over it. "Follow me cutie, I'll lead you", Okay that one is Minju.
You felt two sets of hand grabbed your cock, their warmth made your precum leaked."Slowly, go up and down" Minju take the lead as Yuri followed her, "Okay", Fuck the feelings of being jerked by two different hand is something else.
"Are you enjoying this oppa?"
"Yes"
"Yuri focus on your rythm"
The two girl continue their sensual and slow Handjob. Minju then come to whisper in your ears. "Can you cum for us oppa? I promise I'll drink it", Oh fuck, "Oppa, cum please, for me", Yuri followed her and made this whole experience a little too much for you.
"It's squirming"
"That means oppa gonna cum, come on oppa, cum all over our hand"
Can't keep up any ore your sperm shoot out, Minju closed off the tip just in time to make sure it doesn't spray anywhere. Looking down you see Yuri is also doing the same, making their hands covered with your sperm. "So warm"
Yuri whimpered. Minju smiled before licking her hand."Minju?" You hear Yuri's questioning tone, "So sweet, you taste amazing baby", Seeing the ecstasy on Minju's face, Yuri did the same, and start sucking on her own fingers. "Hmmm, it tastes good oppa"
The two of them went down to your cock and started licking it, getting any excess cum off of you. The sensation send your cock back to it's glorious form. "So vigorous, Yuri, follow my lead"
Minju climbed down to get to a more comfortable position, Yuri followed suit. "First, you kiss it", You felt Minju thick lips pressing up against yours. Then Yuri's soft pair of lips pressing up against the other.
"It smells so good"
"I know right? Now you start licking it"
The two started licking around your shaft giving some ungodly feeling.
"Now, watch me first", Yuri moves to the side before Minju started swallowing your cock whole.
"Whoa", Yeah Yuri, whoa, you did not expect Minju to be so good at this. The feeling of her throat massaging your cock while her tongue reached out to lock your shaft and balls is too good.
"Yaaaa, my turn", God damn Yuri looked so cute when she's pouting. Minju let go of her mouth before moving aside. "Now, first you need to try with the tip first Yuri"
Yuri was inexperienced, for like 30 second before she start giving you deep throat as well. "I'm so proud of you Yuri"
Minju get down and start sucking on your balls. Needless to say, as you're still sensitive from the ejaculations from before, you didn't last long.
Minju pulled Yuri up to only have your tip in her mouth while she use both hands to jerk you off. "Come on, cum oppa, cum all over cute Yuri's mouth"
Your hips bucked forward and start spraying your sperm to Yuri's inside. As your ejaculation subsided your cock fell limp to your crotch.
"Open your mouth Yuri, learn how to share", Yuri opened obediently and Minju's tongue slitehered to Yuri's mouth before they kiss. You see Minju's tongue scooping out your sperm into her own mouth occasionally. Then the two parted way, a loud gulping noise can be heard before they let our a satisfied moan.
"Thank you oppa"
"It was nice oppa"
The two gave you a kiss to the cheek before slumping down to your chest.
"Fucking hell, you two are, dangerous", The two giggles before they let out a sigh. Your breath and heartbeat seems to synchronize with them as your consciousness start to slip away.
It's been a long day.

Hiii! I saw your taking Rockstar!Remus request and was wondering if you could do Rockstar!Remus x Shy!Reader and like she’s hella awkward but in Like a funny way and she’s a really good singer and he wrote a song for them and one night invites her on stage for them to sing together and it’s all really cute ?! If that makes sense 😭! You can take this anywhere you want it totally up to you ! Anyways you totally don’t have to write this it’s just an idea ! Have and amazing day/night! 🩵 ( also fem or non specific pronouns!)
Hii, ty for the request!! I love rockstar!Remus so much🥹, hope you this is okay. Warnings: fluff, use of pet names and y/n, shy!reader (0.8k)
You love music, almost as much as you love your boyfriend. And you love writing music and singing. But what you don't love is too much attention on you.
You'd tried being on stage, performing, but your shyness often times resulted in some clumsy, embarrassing things for you to happen. So you're trying to stay away from performing as far as possible.
You've written a song for The Marauders, it's not the first song you've ever written for them, so you're used to just standing behind the curtains and enjoying hearing it live.
That's exactly what you're doing now. You're standing backstage with a clear view of your boyfriend.
Remus somehow looks even more hot, strumming on his bass, having the time of his life while doing so.
He sneaks a peek at you every now and then, sending a huge grin along with a wink your way. Which makes your cheeks go red every single time. Remus won't admit it, but you're pretty sure, he just loves watching you go all shy and blushy around him.
Finally, the last song, the song you've written comes up and suddenly Remus starts to grin at you, more than he usually does. And you instantly know, that he's up to something.
Sirius and James both nod at him and Remus starts to speak into the mic, while still looking at you, " everybody! Tonight, we have a very, very special person here."
You go white as a wall as soon as you hear his words. He can't seriously think, that you will come up in the stage. Not happening.
"She's written multiple songs for us. She's an incredible musician, but she's just a bit to shy. So please, everyone, help me get her on the stage," Remus gives you a reassuring smile, before he announces, " y/n, would you do us the honor and join us on the stage?"
You don't move at all, you stay frozen at the place. There's loud cheer of the fans, trying to encourage you on the stage, but you can't move.
"C'mon, y/n, we've already made a peace with the fact you're going to shame us with your talent, so make it quick," Sirius urges you on in his sweet, characteristic way, but you still don't move.
Remus is still looking at you with supportive smile, he mouths at you," c'mon sweetheart, you can do it. I'll be right besides you."
The crowd starts to chant your name ( after James and Sirius have started it) to try to get you on the stage.
You eventually give in and slowly walk onto the stage. You shyly wave at the crowd and make your way straight to Remus.
"I'm going to kill you, when we get out of here," you whisper to Remus and stand in front of his mic as he just chuckles.
You greet the crowd sheepishly and nervously fiddle with your hands on the mic, almost knocking the mic stand over. Your cheeks go even more red.
The guys start the play the tune of your song, but before you start singing Remus whispers into your ear," it's okay, just breath. You got this."
You listen to his words and take a huge breath, and then you start singing. You are so freaking nervous at first, but once the guys join you with the singing the stress leaves you almost entirely.
You actually start to enjoy the performing and by the time the song is over, you're smiling big, suddenly understand why the guys love it so much. There's something thrilling about it. The atmosphere, the fans and everything around it.
Once the song is over, you and the boys take each other's hands and bow together. But then you quickly get off the stage, your shyness still very much present.
You are taking one big breath after another, when suddenly you're lifted off of the ground by two strong hands.
You immediately recognise it's Remus as he laughs happily with you still in his arms.
"You did it! I knew, you had it in you," he says softly and proudly, while he puts you back down. He's looking at you like you have just done something very incredible (which for you, you kind of have).
"Was I okay? Wasn't it too bad?" you ask him anxiously, biting your lip.
"Okay? Are you kidding? You were amazing, we will loose many fans to you now," he teases you with affection.
"Not possible, they love your handsome faces too much, " you murmur with a smile.
Remus laughs," our handsome faces? Not our talent?"
"Yeah, maybe that too," you say cheekily, rolling your eyes at him.
Remus pokes you into your side playfully and plants a sweet kiss to your temple," very funny, dove. Now c'mon, we gotta go and celebrate this !"
Remus takes your hand in his and pulls you after him into his changing room. You talk about how it felt to be on the stage, while Remus listens to you with lovesick gaze.

YOU TASTE THE SILVER - IvanTill WIP (Part 11)
After basically two months, here we go! I'm so sorry for the delay, but I had tests, and then got sick, and then family problems, and some other shit, but! I think I'm getting everything back on track now.
If you've read the Mizi POV extra and was looking forward to a continuation of that, I'm sorry to say that I ended up moving things around for a better flow of things. So no hand-delivered gift for Till.
Without further delay, here's Till's POV of the recording and when he decided to call Ivan.
ON AO3 - part one - part two - part three - part four - part five&six - part seven - part eight - part nine - part ten
Tumblr media
Till couldn't believe this was happening.
The last few weeks have been... a blur, almost. His streaming is going well, his songwriting is better than ever, and he's been just generally happier with life.
(He tries not to think about why. If he does, he'll end up thinking of late-night chats and the ping of money being dropped into his account, Ivan telling him to get something nice. He still has no idea what they're doing, but Till... wants. He just has no idea what he's yearning for.)
It all goes up to eleven when Mizi's manager sends him an email. He has Hyuna and Dewey check it over with him to see if it's not a scam, and it's not until Mizi sends a video talking about how much she'd like to record a cover with him that he starts trusting it.
It's still surreal.
He feels on cloud nine, going through his routine and streams barely paying attention, focused on the date he's set to meet with Mizi and on the details of the collab. He talks with Mizi's merch manager, designs the keychains himself, asking Dewey to draw the little chibis of himself and Mizi. They discuss the single's cover, and set a date for a photoshoot.
He does all that on autopilot, feeling like he's suddenly been submerged in a pool of warm water. Everything is muted and muffled, slow and timeless.
(He doesn't notice the looks Hyuna and Isaac send him, all amusement and pride. He doesn't see Dewey's pride and worry. He doesn't realize Ivan is texting less and less, these days.)
He feels himself come out of it standing on the doorstep to the studio, suddenly assaulted by the sounds of the world outside, the chill of being outside the water.
Dewey, who came with him to talk to Mizi's manager about the art for the T-shirt, rolls his eyes.
"I knew you were just pushing it down. Come on, breathe with me." He says, one hand on Till's back to coax him to inhale. Till knows the breathing exercise from when Dewey and Till still lived with their mother, both tucked into Dewey's bed as he took deep breaths and told Till all about this new show he was seeing in the hopes of taking his mind off of whatever was happening in the rest of the house.
It's a few minutes before he can breath by himself, and thank god they came in early. Till scratches his nape, embarrassed. He doesn't know why he almost had a panic attack; it's not like anything bad is happening.
"Sorry, I'm fine now." He says, not looking at Dewey. His brother makes a highly skeptical noise, but squeezes his shoulder before letting go.
"Want me to set a half-hour checkup?" he asks, and Till relaxes some more. This means Dewey will come rescue him in half an hour unless Till sends a message otherwise, and having the excuse to get away because his brother insisted is a blessing.
He nods, sheepish, and Dewey snorts before towing him into the building. Soon enough Till is sitting on a meeting room of sorts, just outside the actual recording booth, tuning his guitar alongside Mizi's audio guy. So far it's all been professional stuff, things he can deal with. He's almost confident this won't end in disaster when the door opens and he hears Mizi's cheerful tone greeting them.
"Till! It's so nice to meet you!" She greets, and he somehow manages to do his own greetings without making too much of a fool of himself. She's setting her things down, and puts a Starbucks cup in front of him. "Here you go! I checked with Ivan to see what you liked, so I hope it's right!"
"Oh, you didn't need to, I'm sure it's perfect!" He says, ignoring how he perked up at the mention of Ivan.
Just as he expected, his drink is perfect. Ivan already knows Till's coffee order, his usual take out, and many other things. He doesn't know why he's so pleased by that.
Surprisingly, the rest of the session goes smoothly. Mizi is a professional, and she catches the groove of the song quickly. They harmonize easily, and Till feels so good he almost forgets his check-in with Dewey.
Mizi is just... So nice, and cheerful, and kind. He doesn't feel out of his depth, or like a star-struck fool. She asks about his inspiration, and what he was thinking when he wrote it, and soon enough they're wrapping it up, all the vocals and instrumentals recorded.
He's picking his things up when he sees the cup again, and he just... has to ask.
"Hey, Mizi-sunbae. Can I ask you something?" He says, watching as Mizi types something on her phone.
"Yeah, of course! What is it?" She says, looking up and smiling at him. He can't help but hitching his bag up his shoulder, embarrassed.
"How did you and Ivan meet?" He asks, because asking if Ivan said something else about him is just pathetic. And he's curious. How did Ivan manage to get him those tickets, what sort of relationship does he have with Mizi that she asks for Till's coffee order so casually?
"Oh, he's my friend's little brother, so I've know him since we were, like, 14." She says, waving a hand in the air. "He's kind of my little brother, too. Oh, look!" She says, looking back at her phone and typing for a little before turning her phone to Till.
It's a picture of Mizi and her roommate, Sua, who Till knows vaguely through a few pictures on the fan website. There's a man besides them, squeezing his cheek to Sua's. They're all smiling, dressed casually.
Mizi is talking, saying something about Ivan asking her to show him how to do Aegyo, and Till is... not listening.
It's Ivan, the actor Ivan. The handsome, rich, way out of his league Ivan, who allowed Till to chat to him about himself for an hour, who goaded Till into binging all his movies.
This can't be fucking happening.
Till focuses again, and Mizi is telling him about how Ivan showed her and Sua his covers, about how she got his song in her head.
Till, somehow, manages to finish the conversation. He thanks her for liking his songs, praises how the cover will end, and accompanies her to her Manager's office to sign some papers.
He and Dewey leave the studio and Till doesn't say much, but does smile and tells Dewey he's alright, it was wonderful.
He spends the ride back thinking. About Ivan, about how they met, about how Ivan is so eager to give Till everything he could ever ask for, how he1s so careful to remember things Till tough were just throwaway comments.
He heats his dinner in a haze, thinking over his emotions, the warmth on his chest every time Ivan messages, almost dropping his plate when he realizes Ivan has been pulling back, has been more distant, steering the conversation away every time Till talks about Mizi, as if the subject is uncomfortable to him. Like he knew Till was meeting with Mizi, and though that after it Till wouldn't want to talk anymore.
He waits until he's on his bedroom, on his pajamas, sitting cross-legged on his bed, to send the message. He wants to ask Ivan why he hid himself, why someone like him puts so much attention on Till of all people, but above everything else...
He needs to tell Ivan how much their interactions mean to Till, he needs to make it clear Till is not stopping their conversations, even if Ivan stops sending him money.
YOU [ 07:44pm ] Can I call you? We need to talk.

— Welcome, everyone! Today, we're here with Japan's latest big shot and number one pro-hero, Deku! We are so excited that you were able to have some time for us, darling.— The model serving as a hostess said, her body language exaggerated, and her outfit provocative to gauge higher ratings for the show.
Izuku hadn't really planned to participate in the program, but after you convinced him to do so, he agreed; you'd always supported his career, so you encouraged him to engage with his fans often.
Izuku just wished it had been with a less slimy host, feeling uncomfortable with the frequent lascivious looks the model would throw at him.
—Thank you for having me.— The man said with his classic charming smile. —It's a pleasure to be here with you guys.
—Say, Deku, you've become quite an icon lately. Your popularity is almost as high as mine!— The woman joked, eliciting a slight laugh from the live public. —Have you grown used to being a groundbreaker?
Midoriya bashfully looked at her, feeling her eyes checking him out from head to toe as she spoke.
—Well, the hero life is a difficult path, I have to admit that.— He started, trying to formulate an answer that would suffice. —But it's something I love, and I'm trying to be the best at it.
The model nodded in understanding, allowing her hand to roam to the muscles of his arm.
—Absolutely! We are very alike in that aspect, you know?— She commented, giving a slight squeeze to his biceps. It was getting on Izuku's nerves. —It wouldn't be too far-fetched to be together as a couple.— He heard her say with a wink, the audience having mixed reactions to her blatant flirting.
—Don't you think we'd make a picture-perfect power couple?
Midoriya felt disgust towards the hostess, feeling overwhelmed by her constant indecency. "Talk about basking in reflected glory," he thought, wishing he could get away from her.
—Haha, well, I appreciate your interest, but I'm afraid I'm not available.— He answered with an unfaltering grin; even if it hadn't been long since he had first debuted as a pro-hero, he'd learnt a thing or two about managing his looks while facing the public eye.
The model pouted, pressing the matter even more.
— Just think of the headlines! We could be an 'it' couple.— She added to her desperate attempt to convince him. —Besides, wouldn't you prefer to change your old partner for a brand new model? You'd be the envy of your colleagues.
The public awkwardly laughed at the hostess' behavior. It was funny the first time, they'd guessed, but after a while, it just felt uncomfortable– Even they could sense the uneasiness in Izuku through his charismatic facade.
—How could I do that to them?— Midoriya answered, shaking his head. —I love my partner; they are the best. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.
A loud wave of clapping and cheering soared after his answer, moved by the vulnerability and sweetness behind those words. Izuku swore he'd heard a man scream "I love you" at him.
—Hey, baby, if you are watching the show like you promised, wait for me for dinner.— Izuku said to one of the cameras, referring to you as he took his leave from the scene.
For a few weeks, the whole interview fiasco had spread on every social media platform, but every single post had one thing in common: they all agreed that Izuku was loyal to you.

4 - The Feast pt 2

Part 5
The Last Velaryon
Tag list @rise-my-angel @cdragons
Lord Eddard and King Robert Baratheon made their way outside of the feast hall. The laughter and loud noise could still be heard when they walked away out of earshot from others to have their conversation. Eddard paused in his steps. "You're grace, what did you wish to talk about?"
"No formalities, Ned. It's about that Velaryon girl." Robert eyed his friend.
Ned asked him. "What concerns you about her?"
"I think I might have made a mistake when I stripped Jaime of his white cloak." The king declared under his breath.
Lord Stark wasn't sure what to make of his words. "What do you mean?"
"I mean the Kingslayer doesn't seem to give a damn about her. He is hiding something. Only problem is I don't really care to find out what." He chuckled.
Ned clicked his tongue. "We cannot judge someone until we know whether they are a man of honor or not. But what does this have to do with you second guessing your own command?"
"I haven't done much research on the Velaryon house but I figured the lord would have fought against the man who basically helped me banish their house."
"If your house is close to being very small I suppose you would do anything to keep it alive." Ned pointed out.
Robert simply nodded his head. "I've been thinking about this, Ned. I am king and seven kingdoms declined loyalty to me so why not use that power to change one declaration I just wrote."
"Your grace, if you mean to go against the Lannister's I don't think that would be wise." Ned warns his friend and king.
Robert scoffs. "I don't care what they pay me not to. I am not blind Ned and I know you just saw it too. There's something between that girl and your son."
"It is a good thought, your grace. But that's all it should remain just a thought. I doubt Robb has even thought of a betrothed yet." Lord Stark shrugged his shoulders knowing his son and his young at heart nature. He was still a boy, even though he was very good at following the lessons he had been taught so far in life.
Robert moved closer to his friend, staring into his eyes with a serious expression. "You're his father. If he hasn't thought of the idea of marrying her then persuade him to. I'll deal with Tywin Lannister when the time comes."
Three years ago - Haelesa's pov
That morning I was dreading more than I care to admit to myself now. It was the day I had to say goodbye to one of my closest Joella Bridges. Picking up the ends of my nightgown I scampered through the hallways until I reached her chambers knocking three times on the door. "Joella, it's me. Open the dang door!"
"Enough with the shouting. We don't want to wake the whole castle staff. Once they're awake I'll have to start packing to leave." She shushed me by tugging me inside her room and quietly yet quickly shutting the door and locking it.
I admitted throwing my arms away from my sides. "I don't want you to leave. Why can't it be if you're lord father isn't dra yet then the man travels to live with the girl."
"I'm going to miss you too, Haelesa and Chezney too of course. But my parents already agreed to it." She opened her arms and we raced to embrace one another.
Her father had married my mother's older sister and so we we're cousins by birth. Now her father had decided to ship her off for marriage....the only real reason this happened was the tale of bettering one's house. And I had done my own research from what I could find on her soon to be new family. "You don't want to marry this man. It's claimed he has a mustache, Joella."
"Yes but I've also been told he is very cheerful." She added on slightly breaking the hug so we could see the other's face.
I made a noise sticking my tongue out to her. "It's still gross thinking you'll be kissing a guy with hair around his mouth...eww, Raynald Westerling!"
"Haelesa stop it okay. I am already nervous enough and your teasing isn't helping." Joella admitted dropping her arms at her sides.
I smiled at my cousin. "I'm just saying, Ella. You'll be kissing a guy with a full beard."
"Okay, let's change the subject. I want you to promise me something." Joella replied.
Taking her hands in mine I asked softly. "What kind of promise?"
"Promise me that even though we will be away from each other that you will tell me off your adventures. Whether they are big or small. If you find love or not. I want to know everything. So send me letters, cousin." She explained to me with that cheeky smile she always had on her face when we got to spend time together.
Squeezing her hands in mine I immediately agreed without hesitation of what she was asking. "Of course. As long as you do the same back to me.
"I promise." She hugs me gently and I wrap my arms around her hugging her with the same level of emotion.
Robb and I were still just silently walking around the abandoned courtyard of Winterfell. Everyone else was still awake enjoying the feast with the royal family. He paused in his steps outside a wooden cage canal looking at me. "I wanted to show you something."
"Show me what?" I questioned him wrapping my arms around myself and I had taken his other fur cloak that he had given earlier on the day.
He undid the locks of the pen and I gasped taking a step back seeing an animal exit the pen. The animal in front of me was a wolf from what I could by the pointy ears and the long wagging fur tail. "This is GreyWind. He is my direwolf." He responded by running his fingers through the wolf's gray coat.
"I've never seen a direwolf before. Where did you find him?" I asked, lowering myself down on a knee reaching forward and petting his fur when he sniffed my hand before I touched him.
Robb stands on the side of the direwolf. "My father had me and my brothers out hunting with him in the woods. Their mother had died and so each of the Stark children got to have their own pup. We just had to take care of them."
"Aww that's sweet. He seems like a good boy." I smiled still, moving my fingers through his fur and he began wagging his tail back and forth.
Robb smiled down at me. He had been enjoying your company from the moment you two had met. He wished he could spend more time with her. But unfortunately he figured that wouldn't get the chance. "I have trained him as best as I could. "
"You really are something, Robb. You'll make a good Lord of Winterfell one day." I praised him getting to my feet not caring about the mud stains on my dress.
He blushed but I couldn't tell how bad it was given that the only light was provided by some burning torches on the walls and the fact that it was completely dark. "You barely know me and you're already giving me praise, Haelesa. I am not sure how to take it. But thank you."
"You're welcome, Robb. Maybe if we're lucky we can know more about each other before I leave in a few days." I smiled, clasping my hands together in front of me.
Footsteps could be heard coming around the corner causing both of us to turn our heads seeing Lady Catelyn rushing over to us. I could see the annoyance in her facial expression. "Robb, you shouldn't have left the feast. This is for the royal family. Why in the seven kingdoms are you out here?"
"I'm sorry, mother. I was simply showing Lady Haelesa my direwolf." Robb apologized to his mother.
Catelyn shifted her head quickly over to me. "You're the Velaryon girl that is supposed to wed the Kingslayer."
"Yes Lady Stark I am. I am sorry if I have made any problems this evening." I bowed my head giving her a small curtsey.
She shakes her head focusing back on her first born son. "I am just here to say that your father went off with the king to talk about something. So you need to go back inside and represent your house in your father's stead."
"Of course, mother." He nodded in understanding, placing GreyWind back inside his cage. He walked past me and his mother glanced over his shoulder back at me. "I'll see you later, Haelesa."
I looked into his brown eyes waving bye to the young boy. "See you later, Robb....uh if you see my friend Chezney,  Lady Stark. Tell her I am retiring for the evening."
"Goodnight, Lady Haelesa." She responded watching me walk away and she could sense that something was between her son and the young woman.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

"Did someone ordered this?" Milly asked the group as the waitress presented her the drink.
"Did someone ordered this?" Milly asked the group as the waitress presented her the drink.
"I didn't order this" she said kindly to the woman before looking back at her friends, who seemed as clueless as she.
Well, Emily's friends to be exact.
They were celebrating the younger girl birthday and Milly was just one out of a whole lot of people who (rightfully) cherished the girl's presence in their lives.
"It was sent to you specifically by another table" the waitress clarified and milly raised an eyebrow.
(These things happen only in movies, are they not?)
The waitress pointed to a table not too far from theirs, at a pretty looking girl.
Effortless Charming, she seemed.
The girl was engaged in a conversation with her drinking buddies, the two guys seemed to be arguing about something Milly couldn't make, as the pretty girl rolled her eyes fondly at them and took a sip out of her drink.
Painted lips curving an entertained smile as one of the boys put his hand around her shoulder.
"Are you sure its her?" Milly asked the waitress and the woman nodded before turning away.
Milly glanced back at the girl, just so she could catch her gaze.
Y/e/c spark in excitement.
The girl sent her a small smile and raised her drink, holding it as a 'cheers' kind of gesture.
Milly smiled back before doing the same.
____
After half an hour or so, Milly noticed the two guys who shared the table with the beautiful stranger getting up to dance floor, seemed to taking their chances with various different women.
The woman stayed at the table, her eyes glued to her phone, and Milly decided to adress her- and giving Emily and her friends a break.
Emily gave her a an encouraging hand squeeze as she got up before turning back to one of her friends, a girl Milly couldn't name for her life.
"Interesting choice of a drink, you had"
The actress said as she took the unoccupied sit next to the stranger.
The same sit the guy who put his hand on her sat in earlier- which was closer then she probably should've.
But it was a crowded place, full with drunk people and the girl was hot, and milly was a bit tipsy , and maybe a bit horny as well (cant blame a woman for her needs)
"Is that so? I honestly gambled on it. Good to know it worked"
"Didn't say it did" Milly taunted.
The girl's smiled at her knowingly,
"Yet, you're here, aren't you?"
(Yes, i am- milly thought)
"You seem confident enough so imagine my surprise that you only a drink and nothing else. You could've approached me. I do not bite"
"Unfortunately" the strange smirked and milly smirked back.
"I see no reason to bother a person without knowing where I'm standing in the situation."
She admitted "not a coward, but a calculated woman"
"Always the mastermind, I presume?"
"Barely" she chuckled before signaling the waitress.
"So, now that you have my attention. What's next?"
Milly hold up the stranger drink and took a small sip, containing eye contact.
The stranger smirk grew.
"Another drink, if you'd like"
The waitress approached.
"Naturally" milly smirked back before turning to the waitress who had a knowing glint in her eyes.
(Milly wondered if the waitress could see how close milly was to pull the overly confident and attractive woman to the restroom)
The night continues on,
The two flirted a lot and touched each other in ways that could pass as innocent, yet both knew were not,
In one moment milly's hand brushed the girl's hand,
In another the stranger's hand found a home on the actress thigh.
Milly bit her lip, and the girl's gaze linger on it a bit to long to consider innocent.
Milly brushed a piece of hair behind the girl's ear and made her blush slightly.
(It wasn't the alcohol, she knew)
"We should dance" the girl said at some point and and pulled milly to the dance floor.
Milly's eyes catch Emily's from across the room and winked at her. Her friend's laughed at her antics.
Saying milly was stunned will be an understatement,
The girl knew how to move, and made her whole body tinge in anticipation. Her lips linger not far from milly's own as she swayed close to her. Their bodies inches apart.
It was the last straw for the actress, and after a few minutes of this, she decided she might burst at any second.
Especially when she felt the girl's back on her front.
She put her hands on the stranger's waist and titled her face slightly to meet her hungry gaze.
"We're leaving now" she stated and the girl sent her a knowing smile
"Is that a commend, your grace?"
(A mastermind you are)
Milly smirked and pulled her further into herself. Her lips close to the stranger ear. "It is, a commend"
{this is a bit smutty so idk how well thats gonna go}
30 minutes later milly found herself in the girl's flat. Their lips connected and clothed half undone.
Milly's lips on the stranger's collarbone, taking in the flavor of her as the girl shuddered breath quickened.
"The bed-" the girl started to say and milly pulled her further into the room, the girl's legs hitting the bed and she fell on the mattress.
The blonde took no time before pulling her own top off.
Her smirk growing as the girl on the bed pulled her own dress off and showed a perfect skin and no bra.
A few tattoos scattered across the girl's body and a small silver piercing attached to her eight nipple. Her hardened nipple
It was delightful sight and the blonde had to stop herself from attacking the girl's nipple piercing with her tongue, instead she captured the painted lips in her own before pulling herself over the girl- who was now lying on the mattress, panting and turned on.
"Take it off" the girl said and went to pull over milly's Calvin klein's bra.
"Ask nicely" she said and attacked the girl's pulse spot.
The stranger whimpered so delightfully and milly felt her body reacts to it.
"So confident from the outside, but aren't you a good little brat"
The girl whimpered again.
"Please Milly"
Milly's lips trailed down the girl's chest, before stoping on her perky, pierced tits, her hot mouth finding the cold metal piercing, and her tongue delightfully playing with it.
Her left hand finding the girl's other nipple, giving her it well deserved attention and devotion.
She felt the girl's shuddering under her and decided it was time to move further down. But nit before taking her bra off. Exposing her own tits.
The girl's eyes scanned them so fiercely, one might think it was a form of art.
(It kinda was)
Milly's lips trailed to the girl's stomach, kissing every inch of it before pulling herself further down to the girl's thighs.
Milly learned with time how Soft butterfly kisses in the right spots can get a woman into a frantic state, and ph how diving sight it was.
"Please milly" the stranger begged as milly's teeth grazed her soaked panties.
"Please what" the blonde said and pulled herself up, to look at the woman beneath her.
Her blue eyes demanding.
"You know what" the girl said irritated before pulling the blonde into a bruising kiss.
"Don't be a brat" milly said as she pushed the girl's back to the mattress and dominantly cupped her face in her right hand.
"Fuck, please fuck me milly"
No further admission was necessary and milly found herself pulling herself back down, so her teeth could grazed the ruined fabric again.
Moment later with swift motion of her hand it was gone and the girl was bare in front of her, her pussy wet and the numb of nerves pulsing with anticipation.
One look at it and the girl's frantic gaze was enough for milly to know that she cant make anymore teasing, not for now, so she did what the girl was begging her to do from the moment she pulled her into her apartment- or even earlier when she sent her the drink- she attached her lips to the pulse point and flickered her experienced tongue,
The girl was a mess, no more cleaver remarks or confident words, just mumbling and whimpering of milly's name - that sounded oddly like a prayer.
It was so hot milly had to stop herself from pushing her own hand into her own pants, instead she pushed a finger into the girl's wet core, that seemed to take it as it was nothing, stretching and accepting it as if Milly's finger was a part of it anatomy.
a few seconds later another finger was in and the girl's breath became frantic.
"Milly, faster, please"
And she did went faster, her tongue turning and swirling the bud as if it was a candy in her mouth, her taste buds enjoying the taste as well, and her fingers working so fast - as if they were in a race- and winning.
"Cum for me baby"
And that was it, the walls were tightened and her body rose up a few inches in the air as milly's other hand kept her grounded, momentarily later circling her stomach.
Milly's lips found themselves in the delightful task of cleaning up some of the mess she caused before she pulled herself back over the panting, sweaty girl, and gave a kiss.
Her finger's who were still coated with the girl's juices went straight into her mouth as she kept an eye connection.
The girl smirked up at her, turned on by the sight.
"You're so fucking hot" she said and milly stroke her cheek fondly.
"You're the one to be talking"
Milly kissed her nose and she giggled momentarily before pulling milly into another kiss.
"Take your pants off" the stranger commended
Milly raised an eyebrow
"Please"

Tumblr media
Category: Eddie Munson X Fem!Reader
Word count: 1.5k
Warnings: Eddie hating himself. Shameless fluff as always :)
─── 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
His hand being on the small of your back shouldn't bother Eddie. You've known Steve a lot longer than you've known him, growing up beside one another. The both of you were each other's first friends in elementary school, first prom date in middle school and even graduated alongside each other. You were family, not in any way romantic. Well, that's at least what Eddie kept repeating in his head.
Steve Harrington was perfect for you in theory. He knew the most about you, your family adored him, and he had that easy-going thing about him chicks seemed to dig. Yet you ended up with Eddie.
He knew you loved him, everything about you told him that you did. Yet Eddie couldn't help but feel guilt with every sweet nothing you whispered. Did he deserve you? The prettiest girl in all of Hawkins ended up with the big bad wolf. It was something of a Grimm fairy tale to the towns folk. The princess being stolen away by the evil thug. Was Steve supposed to be your knight in shining armour? You were the sun and Eddie was the thunderstorm people duck and cover from.
"Dude they're just friends chill... you're clenching that can of beer so hard it's gonna explode..."
Henderson managed to pull Eddie from his self-pitying reverie, finally being present at Mike Wheeler's birthday party. His eyes went back to you and he noticed you had now flitted away from Steve, making your rounds towards Nancy and Jonathan who were perched in the adjacent corner of the Wheeler's living room. His relief was only followed by more guilt.
"I know Henderson..." Eddie spat, the crease in his brow proving he still couldn't throw his mind out of that petty jealous space.
"C'mon Eddie cheer up... why don't you go grab your princess... she just finished up with Nancy..."
Ever the schemer Eddie simply rolled his eyes at Dustin's poor attempt at pulling the two of you together. Before his jealous mind could sulk, Eddie forced himself to his feet making a beeline towards the girl who had turned his life upside down in all the best ways. Not in the creepy alien way.
His large hands splayed along your waist before you could turn around. That resigned sigh of relaxation left your lips and just for a moment, Eddie felt as though he had been the one to grant you safety. He could be your solace.
“Hey, sweetheart... busy being a social butterfly huh?"
You swivelled in his arms so you could catch a glimpse of his sweet face "You know it... Steve told me the funniest story about this guy coming into family video and asking if they sold adult movies... I mean how wild is that?"
Eddie just managed to hide the grimace that crossed his face at the mention of Harrington. He finally catches you alone and that's the first thing you say. He hates how jealous he sounds, but he just can't help it. Suddenly Eddie feels like the beast again, the freak everyone would throw tomatoes at as he remained stuck in the stocks. Meanwhile, the princess gets whisked away by the prince with the unusually high hair and-
"Earth to Eddie? Is anyone in there... you looked far away..."
So caught up in his neverendingly bleak thoughts, Eddie failed to spot you clicking your fingers in front of his face.
"Sorry yeah, I'm just... thinking about the next campaign..."
"Oooo very exciting wanna tell me about it?"
Eddie shakes his head before burying his head in your neck and basking in your scent. Who knew how long he would get to do this until you finally came to your senses?
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The next time Eddie felt unnecessarily jealous of Steve Harrington, the three of you and Robin sat in a booth at Bob's diner. Various desserts and portions of fries lay across the table, Eddie's arm was around your shoulder and the conversation was flowing nicely. That was until the topic of milkshakes came up.
"Strawberry milkshake on me sweetheart?"
"Oh she doesn't like strawberry..." Steve mentions it so casually, to anyone else they would think you were a couple. Eddies fist clenches.
"You don't?"
His eyes meet yours and you look up oblivious to the way his heart sinks at this menial information. He was your boyfriend. He should know all the little fine details about you, including what your favourite milkshake flavour is.
"I prefer vanilla... but I'd share a strawberry one with you..." Your eyes practically love hearts as you press a gentle kiss to eddies nose. Both of you ignore Robin's fake puking noises.
As much as your loving eyes are singing to his soul, swaying him to give into your adoration, that inkling of doubt sings even louder. Pulling from you, eddies eyes shoot away "I'll go grab you a vanilla one..."
His voice had never been so quiet. This time you notice.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The third time jealousy overruns Eddies better judgment, the both of you are sprawled out on his sofa. His head is in your lap, and your fingers are nicking all individual curls, unravelling and divining them. You're mainly using the excuse to just touch him since recently he had been pulling away.
You thought maybe you'd been imagining things at the party when he pouted on the car journey home, and when at the diner he shut down after the milkshake debacle. Maybe he was just tired? But you were clearly wrong in your assumptions.
Ever since that day Eddie seemed busier. Always preparing for a hellfire meeting or having some unexpected deal he had to run to, usually resulting in your plans getting postponed. Hell, today you'd practically had to beg to get him to spend an afternoon with you. It was starting to hurt.
It was only when you mentioned Steve while playing with his hair did everything sort of click in your brain. Was he... jealous? He physically recoiled just at the mention of your best friend's name.
"What's that face for?"
Eddie sat himself up turning to you but refusing to meet your eye. That smile he reserved solely for lying spread across his face and he spoke "What face?"
"You looked about ready to puke when I mentioned Steve, is something wrong?"
At this point Eddie had completely removed himself from the sofa, getting to his feet and turning his back to you. You wanted to cry. The both of you allowed silence to steam up the room, neither brave enough to speak. You volunteered.
"Have I done something wrong? Please, Eddie... I can feel you pulling away..."
"I'm not..." he noticed how his voice raised and he turned to you, hating how your brows were scrunched together "I'm not pulling away sweetheart I promise..."
To you, this wasn't a good enough answer. Eddie was an awful liar, his mouth was curved and his eyes were looking at you but not really looking at you.
"You've been avoiding plans for a couple of weeks now... I just want to know what I did so I can fix it..." Your hand grabbed his "Please..."
He hated how you pleaded. He was such a shit boyfriend he made you resort to begging. He always promised himself to treat you incredibly, so stuck in his own self-pitying he failed to do so. You did always say honesty was the most important thing to you, he had to come clean even if it did make him feel like an idiot.
"I... you should be with Steve..."
That didn't come out exactly how he planned. However, giggles tumbling from your lips were not expected. You continued laughing until you must have caught sight of eddies crestfallen expression.
"Wait you're not joking? Eddie, you realise Steve is like my brother right?"
Now he just felt dumb.
"Yes... yes, I know but he knows everything about you... your favourite childhood cartoon... your first kiss... and your stupid favourite milkshake flavour... I... shit I'm an idiot..."
In an instant you were by his side, hands holding his shoulders as you forced eye contact.
"You're not an idiot... don't... don't do that self-hating stuff Eds... look can I tell you something?"
Eddie perked up like a puppy, his forehead coming to rest upon your own. Basking in each other's warm breath. He only nodded weakly in response.
"In middle school, I remember seeing this kid stood on top of one of the swings... some other kid had bet him he couldn't swing stood up... and you know what he did..." Eddie could only smile "He swung stood up while reciting the entirety of evening star by Judas Priest like it was a fucking folk tale..."
Your voice was but a whisper, your fingertips tickling the sides of his neck.
"I knew then... like right then that that boy was the one I wanted to be with... and do ya know who that was?"
"Me..."
"Yes, you..." your lips found each other and his large hands found the base of your hips "Eddie... I've never felt the feelings I have for you... for anyone else ever... so I don't care if Steve knows all this crap about me... I'll spend a lifetime telling you those things... and a lifetime learning the same about you..."
Eddie didn't cry often. In fact, he didn't really cry ever, unless he was super high. But right now, shit, he could have sobbed into your shoulder. He'd never known someone to talk to him like you did, with pure unabashed adoration. And for the first time in his life, he wasn't going to run back into the shade that was the freak status society had plastered all over him. He was going to bask in your sun.
"I'd like that..."

The Siren, the Cook, and the Sister (11)
Sanij x PirateHunter!FemReader (Masterlist) Chapter 11: A Sister and a House (Previous) (Next) Summary: You're reunited with your sister. Sanji sees where you live. Warnings: Depictions of Illness, Poor living conditions
"Okay, so here's the plan, Robin, Chopper, (Y/N), and I are going to the hospital while the rest of you take the Sunny to the other side of the island," recounted Nami. Due to the nearby marine base, the Strawhats were forced to stop before reaching the island's main docks.
"And why the other side of the island?" asked Zoro through a yawn.
"Well if you weren't too busy sleeping your life away, you would have heard our beautiful (Y/N)'s plan," scolded the cook. He rolled his eyes and continued, "her home is on the other side of island, away from any Marine eyes, so we're going to hide out there while she does want she needs to do... moss head." Sanji whispered that last part.
"Thank you, Sanji," you quickly added, immediately standing in between the two. You didn't want anything to delay today's disembarkment. After months out in the sea, you were going to see your sister again and give her a new lease on life one way or another.
"Okay then, so we'll see you guys later. Please, don't do anything stupid while we're gone," pleaded Nami. She turned to you three, leaving the boys to fend themselves. Robin activated her devil fruit, and created a bridge of arms for you all to walk on. Grabbing your chest, you made your way across the arms.
The second you reached the mainland, you started to run to the hospital. Your three companions right behind you. If you weren't so excited, you would have walked but you have waited far too long for this. And thankfully, Robin, Nami and Chopper seemed to understand as they just laughed and ran alongside you.
In no time, you three reached the marine hospital. The Strawhats hid in a bush while you made your way inside and talked to the front desk. After making the full payment, they allowed you in, sending you up to the 5th floor of the building.
Knock, knock, knock!
"Come in," announced a feeble voice. You rushed in, throwing your mask off. The little girl that took up less than half of the bed immediately shot up, squealing your name in joy. You ran to the bed and pulled her in a full body hug.
"You're back," she said while in your arms. Of course, I'm back. I'll always come back for you, you thought as you affectionally rubbed her head with yours. After holding each other for a bit, you let go and grabbed your mask.
Once it was secured on your face, you made your way to the window. "And guess what I found along the way?" you announced. You popped the window open and waved your hand out of it. Before your sister had a chance to ask what, a giant hand holding three people appeared in front of the window.
Robin, Nami, and Chopper crawled through the opening. You quickly scanned to see if anyone saw, shutting it once the coast was clear. You turned back to see your sister's jaw touching the bed. Got her!
"Ta-da!" you cheered, waving your arms around the three Strawhats. They smiled and waved at your sister who just sat in shock. Your three companions took the room in, taking note of the wood nightstand which was littered with various small bottles, the IV bag that was connected in your sister's arm, and the various posters and newspaper clippings that adorned the room's walls.
Thankfully, Robin took the initiative and walked towards the little girl. "Long time no see, little one," she gently said, taking a seat on the side of her bed. Your sister immediately hugged her and asked you if it was really the woman who saved you all those years ago.
"In the flesh," you smiled, "I ran into Robin and her crew at my last stop and they were nice enough to give me a ride back." Nami glanced at you, grateful for your condensed story of what had transpired.
"Really nice to meet you! Your sister has told us so much about you. I'm Nami," said the navigator. She sat at the edge of the bed. Your sister, still holding Robin, looked at Nami and waved.
"And I'm Chopper!" added the young doctor who stood near the IV bag, inspecting it.
Out of joy, your sister let go of Robin and squealed, "Oh my god! You're so much cuter in person!"
"No, I'm not, you dumb girl," complained Chopper who did a little dance. Your sister laughed at the reindeer's antics. You felt tears at the corner of your eyes. It's been awhile since you've seen your sister smile so brightly.
Your sister moved her head back and forth, almost in search of something. "Where's the rest of them?" she asked.
You laughed. "Wow, is three not enough?" You sat next to Nami as your sister pouted. "They're back home, but don't worry. You'll get to seem them... once you're cleared after your surgery." Her eyes grew in size. "Yep, after tomorrow, you'll be cured," you assured her.
Before anyone could celebrate, your sister began to aggressively cough. The Strawhats pulled back as you rushed to your sister's side. You grabbed a glass of water on her nightstand and lifted it against her lips. After pushing her to take small lips, your sister's coughing eventually settled down. You ushered her to lay down as she slowly caught her breath.
"Shh, shh, shh, it's okay. Save your energy. After tomorrow, you can cheer, talk, play all you want. Just wait," you cooed. Your sister argued back as she wanted to still talk with Robin, Nami, and Chopper.
"And you will. Just sit back and let us tell you about our trip with your sister here," reasoned Robin who returned to her side. Nami and Chopper joined Robin on your sister's bed. That seemed to calm your sister as she settled in her bed, waiting for the the story to start. You looked at the sight before and felt extreme gratitude for everything in your life right now.

"Are we there yet?" whined Luffy. After docking the boat, the rest of the Strawhats slowly made their through the forest where your house sat.
"Almost... I think I see it straight ahead actually," announced Franky. With that, Luffy ran forward, excited to see the home of a real life robot.
"Oi, Luffy!" scolded Sanji. The rest of the Strawhats just shook their head in either amusement or disappointment at their captain's antics.
However, Sanji couldn't completely judge his captain as he too was excited to see your home. He imagined to see a cottage that exuded love and warmth, a home that he always wished for growing up. With the way you care for your sister, he assumed that your home would also emulate that same level of attention. As they got closer to your home, Sanji felt his heart beat faster in his chest. Just a few more steps and we'll be at lovely (Y/N)'s ho--.
"Is that it?" asked Zoro. Sanji looked up and saw a sad sight. Instead, of a glorious home, a barren, husk of a house stood in the middle of the clearing. The house slightly sagged to its side, windows shattered with plants slowly making their way through them. Luffy poked out of from the back, confusion written all over his face.
"It has to be. It's exactly where she said it would be," informed Jimbei, uncertainty laced in his voice. That being all the confirmation he needed, Luffy kicked the front door open.
"ROBOT HOUSE!" he squealed as he ran in. Sanji ran right behind him, but froze when he stepped inside. Inside the house sat a small bed in one corner, a rusty stove in the other, and absolutely nothing else. It seemed like there used to be more furniture at one point but all that was left of it was marks on the floor.
"It's bare bones in here... just like me, yo-ho-ho-ho." Brook, Jimbei, Franky, and Zoro followed the two inside and also stilled by the sight before them.
Jimbei spoke up, "I didn't expect to see the girl's home look so--"
"-Sad," finished Zoro. Everyone stood in silence, unsure on what to say or think really. Sanji felt so confused. Is this really where you live with your sister?
Suddenly the sound of a machine whirring broke everyone out of their trance. Sanji turned around to see Franky's hand replaced with a drill. "Well, don't just stand there. Let's do something about this," announced Franky. He immediately began to shout orders for some to get wood, others to tear down the walls, and the rest to buy supplies from the town.
Sanji immediately got to work. He was ready to give you and your sister the home that you both deserved.

Author's Notes: Hey y'all, sorry that this is a late chapter! Took me a bit longer to write out this chapter, but we did it!
Honest question, was the sister reunion long? I feel like it was a little long but I feel like it goes back to me not being such a big fan of OC. Like I think it was necessary here to see the reader (you) interact with this sister that you've been on about for awhile. But like was it interesting to read? Let me know!
Also should I name the sister? I can not name her but if it's easier for y'all or even you just want a name for the sister character, let me know! We're about to reach another plot point here so before it happens, would love to know know if she needs a name or not!

Hi there! Love your work 💕 I’ve recently fell into the Son Heungmin hole so your blog is like nirvana to me. If you are still taking requests, can I request a scenario where Son cheated and Y/N has decided to forgive him but is having a hard time returning to normal with him? My husband cheated on me 3 times and I’m suffering from severe depression and anxiety. Thanks a lot in advance and please don’t bother if you are no longer taking requests. Keep shining!
Hi, first of all welcome to the family and thanks for the request, there's always a place for Sonny here. I am sorry for what you're going through, I hope you can be better with time x
-
Sonny is the classic good guy next door. He is kind, always helpful and has a good word for everyone. He is caring, very good with children and his smile would cheer up even the grumpiest person. He is respectful, rarely loses his temper and has a great talent for football.
Yes, but what if you told everyone he's not like that at all?
Sonny is a human being and like everyone makes mistakes.
Sonny is married, but he has cheated. But because of all the years and moments together you have decided to forgive him and move on with your lives. But it's not easy at all.
He was the one who told you. You thought everything was going wonderfully between you and instead he had dropped this bombshell that had turned your whole life and what you believed in upside down.
At first you didn't want to believe it, you thought you were the victim of a well-orchestrated prank. There was no way that Sonny, your Sonny, the one who made stuffed animals speak to make you laugh was also the one who had broken you in two.
But that's how it works, isn't it? You give your whole self to one person, trusting them blindly and making plans and plans for the future, and they bring you back down to earth. And it happens just like that, out of the blue, leaving you stunned.
Maybe you did it more for yourself, you didn't want to admit that your marriage was over. That you had failed. You were sure you could overcome that moment, a bump in the road to your happiness. Things work out with dialogue and time, you used to tell yourself; nothing is fixed by running away.
But somehow his good-guy image in your head had broken, he could hurt too. This was not like the time he had broken that vase you had inherited from your grandmother, so precious for the memories. It wasn't like when you had a fight because you didn't understand his family's traditions.
Still, you were proud of him. You were there when he had won the golden boot, fingers crossed from the start of the game and cheering like crazy until you lost your voice. You were there when an injury had forced him to the bench for a few weeks, ready to give him the support he needed.
There were days when everything was normal, or at least it seemed so.
It was the other days that were unbearable. The ones when he was away and you wondered if he was alone, if she was in the stands, if he had ever seen or contacted her again. You even went so far as to think if he was lying to you, but you always called yourself stupid because he was obviously going where he said you could see him from the tv.
All it took was nothing to make you remember the moment when in your kitchen at home he had confessed to you that he had cheated on you, the cup slipping from your hands shattering into a thousand pieces as well as something inside you.
And it's that something that you have to put back together if you really want to be with him and continue your life together. You have to figure out, if it is really worth it or if you are just afraid to start again. You have to make a final decision whatever it is, and to do that you have to prioritise yourself first.
"Hey you changed your mind! Are you coming with me?" the impending departure for the world cup gave you the final push.
"No Sonny" the smile on his face fades, suddenly those suitcases in front of the door scare him. "I'm going to my parents. I need to think and I can't in here, and since you're leaving too it seems like the right time"
"Just tell me you'll be back"
"That's what I need to figure it out"
"Hey no no look at me" Sonny gently places his hands on your cheeks making a slight pressure for your gazes to meet. "I love you"
"Good luck at the world cup Sonny"

Chapter 9. Prison.
You have lost count of how long you have been wandering without stopping for even two seconds to sleep. Lori is getting bigger and bigger, each time the urgency to find a safe place weighs on all of you like a burden. Time is running out on your account.
God, you would have even eaten from that can of dog food Carl found in the last house you unsuccessfully tried to shelter in. Daryl has managed to catch an owl, but it didn't have much meat on it either. You are now standing in your cars, some of them are still running, which is almost like a miracle, Lori is catching her breath, running and walking for a long time is already proving to be a hard task for her.
"I'm gonna see if I can find somethin' else to eat." Daryl says looking at Rick.
"I'm coming with you." He nods with his knife, following the archer.
The rest of you stay behind to secure the perimeter. Carl and Sophia are with Carol and Lori, they're hungry, but hanging on as best they can, as is everyone else. You sigh, picking up your arrows and counting them. You don't have many left, in a little while you should look for new branches and make more, in the last escape you left too many on the way. You grab your knife picking up several branches from the ground and start sharpening the tip of each one.
"I'm hungry..." Sophia murmurs.
"I know, honey, but you have to hang in there for a bit, Daryl and Rick have gone to get more food." Attempts to cheer up her and her mother.
"Can we practice?" she asks again, looking at you.
"Sure, let's aim for those trees over there." You point to some trees near the road.
You don't need to go very far, just a few yards, it's not much but it will keep the kids distracted, at least for the time Rick and Daryl are away. In those months they have improved a lot, both Sophia and Carl, even Carol is more skilled with her own bow, Carl is still more comfortable with the gun his father gave him, but he knows how to defend himself with both, Sophia for her part has perfected the technique and like you, carries a knife in her belt in case she runs out of arrows. They are still children, but they have learned fast and have taken on the role of being one more in the group, their childhood is being left behind, forced to grow up too fast.
"Uh, that was a close one." Sophia protests when her arrow falls a little short of yours.
"That wasn't bad at all." You smile flatteringly to keep her from getting discouraged. Suddenly your arrow flies through the air, you turn and see Daryl and Rick emerge from the trees. "You owe me an arrow." You reproach him and he twists his head, as if it doesn't go with him.
"We bring news." Rick says, gaining everyone's attention. "We've found a place..."
*****************
If at any other time in your life you had been told that the safest place to live was going to be inside a prison, you would have laughed, very hard too. But now, it's as rational as it gets. It won't be easy to get in, Rick explains the plan, how he wants to divide the group to enter and attack the dead. The main idea is to close the gates, occupy the entire garden, at least there with the watchtowers you would have a roof in case the weather in Georgia should change again. Maybe little by little you could try to get in.
You all know your place and your mission. Beth along with Maggie and Lori stand on one side of the fence drawing the attention of the dead. You make a hole so you can enter, Carl and Sophia along with Carol, Glenn, Rick, Daryl and you advance down the outside corridor heading towards the main gates where the front yard you want to occupy is.
"Ready?" Rick asks in a whisper.
You all nod as he opens one of the doors. The first shot is yours. From the position, along with Sophia, you clear the way for Carol and Daryl who run to one of the watchtowers to shoot from there, giving Rick a clear path as he runs to the other door to close it, preventing the Walkers from getting out. Leaving all that space for you.
It is immense, a free place, without danger, you have checked that none of the fences have any holes that you could regret. Nothing. Everything is yours. You are exhausted, but happy, you no longer need to keep running, you can set up camp there, rest at last.
You can't help it but as you enter the safe zone, you drop down on the growing grass, throwing your bow, spreading your legs and arms in a star shape, smiling broadly, laughing. Carl and Sophia mimic you by throwing themselves right next to you, you hear Carol get excited at the amount of space you have and your laughter grows louder. A figure blocks the sun in front of you, you open your eyes to discover Daryl looking down at you from above, head cocked to one side.
"Enjoyin' a sunny day, Majesty?" he jokes raising an eyebrow, stretching a hand toward you.
"You're not going to depress me, not today, Dixon." You joke with him, but accept his hand and let him lift you up. "It's a huge place."
"And it's all ours...come on, we still have to move the bodies out of the way."
You accept his orders, you're in too good a mood for some zombie bodies to dampen your spirits. Together you pile up the bodies, bring the cars and the rest of your supplies into the same place, manage to unlock the main doors so you can close the corridor and the door to the courtyard. Again you have that feeling of calm surrounding you. It is true that from afar you can still hear the panting and grunting of the rest of the Walkers in the place, but Rick already seems to be looking for a solution for that.
"We'll take different shifts on watch tonight." Rick says as you leave the cars and everything ready to set up the small camp.
"I'll take the first shift tonight." Daryl says. "The rest of ya can rest."
"You need rest too." Carol tells him in a soft tone and you watch their interaction curiously.
Daryl and Carol are forging a bond, you can feel it, something between them is starting to appear and you smile once again. You're glad, he told you he missed your sister, that it hurt, but you also think Daryl has a right to feel something for someone new. Not to hold on to a memory. If he's chosen Carol, you're happy for them, because you like the couple they make and Sophia, though respectfully, is curious about the archer.
"You look very happy." Beth comments and you smile again.
"Yeah, something tells me we're starting a new life, don't you think? Looks like things are finally going to change..." You shrug feeling your heart hammer hard in your rib cage.
"Uhm, yeah, I guess..." She smiles a little too.
"You'll see how things get better." You want to cheer her up again and you hug her.
Night falls, but you are no longer afraid, the group prepare a fire, with what you still have left and have found, you prepare everything, divide the rations, giving the biggest ration to Lori, for her baby. You all are enjoying a quiet night, when you see Carol walk away from the group to the bus where Daryl is standing guard. A new smile breaks out on your face as you see her carrying a bowl of food for him. It's cute and cuddly, from your distance you see them talking, they seem to be joking, Daryl massages her shoulder, she has used one of the rifles to stop several Walkers, she looks exhausted, but holds on. You look away to give them privacy returning your focus to the group, Beth breaks into song and it warms your heart, Rick returns from inspecting the fence once more, Daryl and Carol appear shortly after.
Daryl walks over to you, sits down next to you and hands you his poncho, you look at him confused, but he just shakes his shoulders, like so many other times and pulls it over your head and you settle under the thick, warm fabric, looking up at him gratefully as he closes his leather jacket to keep his own warmth in.
"It's still gonna be cold tonight, and the fire might not hold much. I dunno where ya left yer damn jacket..."
"I lost it on purpose so you'd give me this." You joke and he rolls his eyes.
"I figured as much." He squeezes your shoulder and leans you against him. "Try to sleep."
"I can't, my shift on watch starts now." You laugh and let go of him slowly, getting up. "But I'm taking this with me." You wink at him pressing the poncho against you and grab the bow before heading towards the bus.
The night is quiet, dark, you've never noticed how dense it could be without all the light pollution, you like it, it's beautiful in its own way and the sky is covered with stars, even the moon seems bigger.
"Have ya fallen asleep already?" Daryl's voice startles you for a moment and you see him climb onto the roof of the bus where you are.
"What are you doing here?" you ask with a frown. "Don't you know what sleep means?"
"Nope. Ya?"
"It's my turn, I don't need to sleep."
"We all need sleep... What do y'think of Rick's plan?"
"Risky, but if like he says we can get our hands on one of those blocks, with supplies, infirmary even some shower... that would be wonderful. Especially the shower thing." You hear Daryl snort in amusement.
"I've smelled worse, y'ain't that bad." He taunts you and you open your mouth wide, smacking him on the arm.
"I can't say the same for you! How do you do it? You rub dead squirrels all over yourself?"
"It's the special essence of the hunter."
You both laugh loudly as you wrinkle your nose in a gesture of complete disgust getting him to laugh louder, even for you it's impressive to hear him laugh like that.
"I've seen your... your thing with Carol."
"My thing with Carol? I dun have a thing with Carol, what are ya talkin' about?"
You smile, but shake your head without saying anything, leaving Daryl more confused if possible. He appreciates Carol, she's becoming a good friend, he feels safe talking to her, plus she also seems to be more confident talking to him than others in the group. But that doesn't mean they have something, maybe they do, since when did he feel so lost in this? Thinking back your sister was always the one who took the reins, since they were eight years old, but he thought he had learned to read how it all worked.
Maybe he's wrong.
He watches you silently, distracted, watching the sky with a small smile, always holding on to your bow, something that always gives you stability. Your knife and gun are in your belt, Daryl doesn't remember a single time you've used that gun, but you always carry it with you as plan C. He notices you've changed your hair, now you wear it loose, holding just a few strands at the back of your head, some strands moving in the soft night breeze, messing it up, crossing in front of your eyes. Daryl licks his lips and reaches over to tuck that unruly lock behind your ear. You don't pull away, it's not the first such gesture Daryl has had with you, he's always been a person who avoids contact except with people he feels confident with, you learned that many years ago. You look at him and smile, thankful that he is there with you, that you have talked things out and now things are moving at a good pace again. The months you've spent away, going back and forth has given you the time to talk and catch up on your lives and everything in general. You know it's not the same, but you feel that the tension that was between you at the first meeting, as if you were strangers, is gone.
"Seriously, what do ya mean with Carol?"
"Never mind, come on, go get some sleep. You need it." You urge him, he doesn't seem to want to leave, but in the end he leaves you alone on the roof of the bus.
**********************
When the sun rises again, you all get going, grab the last of your leftovers and put Rick's plan into action. The kids with Carol, Lori, Beth and Hershel stay on one side of the fence to get the attention of the dead again, so you can get inside, you form a huddle, no one separates, backs together so you have all flanks covered. You stay a little behind, shoot some arrows, Daryl does the same when you have to reload, you cover his back, when he has to reload the crossbow. Without many, but between all of you you clean the courtyard fast, you are approaching the back where there is another group, but you can close the door and think about what to do with them later.
"Watch out!" You warn them as several Police Walkers appear, wearing special equipment.
Arrows are no good for them, they bounce off helmets and bulletproof vests, but Maggie manages to find a hole under one of the helmets and you all do the same.
It's an anxious few minutes, but you finally manage to clear the whole area you had planned according to Rick.
"We'll check that the block is secure and move on."
"If ya come with us ya'll have to use yer gun." Daryl tells you as you prepare to enter through the dark corridors.
"I can use my bow."
"It'll be darker, and there won't be as much room to reload, y'know that."
"Then I'll use my knife."
"That's more dangerous..."
"Daryl..."
"We could use more people, now is not the time to argue about that, we need to secure as much of the perimeter as possible." Interferes Rick in your discussion.
"I'll use the knife." You insist and join the group.
"God, yer stubborn."
"We already have something in common." You joke putting yourself next to Maggie who also goes with you.
You use the knife, a lot to tell the truth, you have been caught in a mousetrap, the dead have started to appear everywhere, cornering you, forcing you to back up and look for an alternative way out until Hershel has been bitten in the leg, of course you don't leave him there, as you make your way you reach another wide room and close the doors at full speed. Rick shouts your name. You run up to him, holding Hershel while the sheriff cuts off his leg to prevent the infection from spreading. It's a drastic measure, more so in that situation, but neither of you want to lose the man. You take off your jacket and quickly cover the leg to stop the bleeding, Hershel is knocked unconscious from the pain, but that's not the worst of it. When you look up you discover that there are several prisoners locked up there, looking at you with surprise and confusion.
"Open the door!" shouts Rick, you go ahead, arranging one of the beds in the cell before they enter with Hershel in your arms.
"Lay him down here!" you shout also kneeling down to uncover the leg and take care of it. "We need to stop the bleeding, find something to burn the wound... we need bandages, alcohol... "You start to list.
"We haven't found the infirmary, now we have another problem outside."
"I'll try to clean him up as best I can, but we need to find it now. Carol, Lori, help me." You ask them and the three of you stay in the cell taking care of Hershel.
Things with the prisoners remain tense, they are not willing to leave the place, but you don't trust them to stay with you either. Rick tries to make a deal with them, half the rations for you and half for them, they will have to find another block to live in and not try to go to yours at any time. But you are busy, you have gone with Carl in search of the infirmary, you can't wait for them to decide what to do with the rest of the ward, Hershel needs immediate help.
"Stay close to me." You say to Carl, tightening your bow in search of any dangerous movement or noise. Carl moves to your side, walking slowly right behind you.
All the corridors are dark, in this part of the corridor there are isolation cells, luckily the doors are locked, if there is any threat, you won't be able to get out on your own. You advance down the corridor finding a small library and at the end of the same corridor, the infirmary. You sigh in relief, patting Carl's head.
"Let's grab everything we can and head back to the cell."
"Okay." He nods and tries to go in, but you stop him.
"Wait, I'll go in first, in case there's a threat." You warn him by opening the door to the infirmary and give a few knocks.
You hear gasps inside, something stirs on the gurney and from behind a bulkhead a nurse emerges in a consumed state. You quickly load the bow and shoot the woman in the head, Carl stirs behind you and peers over the gurney, shooting the guy lying there.
"Carl!" you whisper his name. "I told you to wait!" You scold him between whispers so as not to draw any more attention to yourself.
"He's on the stretcher strapped down, he can't do anything." He defends himself and you growl with a frown.
"I don't care, you came here without telling your mother, if anything happens to you..."
"I know how to defend myself, I'm not a child." He snorts angrily.
"Stop arguing; let's get everything we can and go back to the cell with Hershel. Come on."
Between the two of you you fill the bag with everything you need, some suturing tools and get back as fast as you can to the cell where Lori and Carol are still keeping an eye on Hershel who is still unconscious.
"We're here." You say opening the bag again to take out some bandages and the disinfectant.
"Where did you guys get all that stuff?" Lori looks at you in surprise.
"We went to the infirmary." Carl smiles proudly.
"You went to the infirmary?" Lori asks and then looks at you. "You took him with you without telling me?"
"I'm sorry, Lori, I didn't..."
"Are you not aware of what just happened to Hershel! How dare you put my son in danger?"
"She didn't put me in danger!" interjects Carl looking at his mother angrily. "I decided to go!"
"Carl, listen to me..." Lori tries to reason with him.
"Leave me alone! I'm not a kid anymore!" He yells again and storms out of the cell.
"You go with him, I'll stay with Carol taking care of Hershel." You tell Lori, she seems hesitant, but gets up and leaves you two alone.
"Are you okay?" Carol asks you as you continue to examine the leg of the man who is still unconscious.
"Yes, she's right, I should have told Carl to go back to the cells, I shouldn't have let him come with me. It's normal for her to be angry." You shrug, carefully stitching up some parts of the stump to make it easier for it to heal.
"Kids aren't kids anymore, we can't leave them out, they like being part of this."
"I know, but they are not my children, I can't make certain decisions." Carol rubs your back trying to give you some encouragement, but you're not down, just worried about Hershel coming out of this.

celebrity manhunt
Inside a small studio, a large desk wraps around two seats, an orange striped background and TV monitor decorating the set behind them. In one seat, a tight-faced, full-lipped gentleman with stark black hair holds a bouquet of cue cards. Next to him, a tight-faced redhead in a blue dress is holding a clearly empty mug.
“It’s a beautiful night here in Toronto, perfect temperature for the TV event of the season- that’s right, everyone- it’s time for the Gemmy’s!”
The gentleman fixes his bowtie. “We’re reporting live, just a block away from the action- it’s your faves, Josh-”
“And Blaineley!” the ginger cuts in. “Welcome to a very special episode of Celebrity Manhunt! Tonight is the night, folks- it’s time for gossip, cheer, and chatter about this year’s nominees!”
“Who will be taking home the gold? Stay tuned to find out!”
“Josh, that was my line,” Blaineley hisses. He rolls his eyes.
“In only half an hour, our field reporters will be walking the red carpet with this season’s celebrity stars- until then, let’s catch up with the juiciest gossip from the past year,” Josh grins. “With a special focus on our personal faves, and the audience choice’s- the Total Takes Island cast!”
“Those teens braved it all on the newly-resurfaced Wawanakwa island, competing in death-defying challenges and looking fly while doing it!” Blaineley squeals. “Just to come back for another season of screams, screams, and crazy teens on the set of Total Takes Action!”
“Those are some brave contract holders, especially after watching what happened to the other casts,” John winks. “And like our blasts from the past, these teens have scored a nomination in the category for Best Reality Ensemble.”
“Let’s cross our fingers for them this time, Josh,” Blaineley chuckles. Her smile seems forced. “But before then, let’s catch our audience up to speed with everything that’s happened since Total Takes Action closed its doors- or should I say, gates?”
"Sure thing, Blain- from breakups to makeups to arrest records and more, our stars have had a lot going on for them!" Josh grins. "O has been living the high life back home, but not before starting an advocacy group for those who were negatively affected by the psychiatric healthcare system. Peter was spotted giving a promise ring to his girlfriend, Lois- still going strong! And Kitty's been banned from at least eight national parks in the United States so far,"
"Speaking of spectacles, let’s talk about Alistair’s award-winning performance as Disco Horatio in the viral Broadway musical 70’s Hamlet, a pop-infused retelling of the classic play,”
“Alistair’s performance was so good that he even found himself a brand new fanbase of Hamlet-crazed fangirls- some of which have been taking things a little too far,”
An image of Alistair’s character in a Miku binder fixes itself on screen. It's been autographed.
“Yikes- but hey, if he's owning it, then more power to him! Next up, we're talking about the pop sensation band that’s been on everyone’s minds- that’s right, guys, we’re talking the Takes Three trio!”
Blaineley grins as a sequence of images of McLovin, Sha-Mod, and Joner starts overlaying the screen. “Our Total Takes faves shocked the world when they released their first album, Boi Tearz, to widespread critical acclaim,”
“The rap-swing-darkwave fusion has been called “surprisingly tolerable” by critics, leading the Takes Three to their own claim to fame outside of reality TV. Make sure to stay tuned, because we'll have them right here after the break!”
---
The Celebrity Manhunt logo flashes across screen and then fades as the studio comes into focus. McLovin, Sha-Mod, and Joner are all sitting beside each other at the end of the table, wearing matching outfits.
"Takes Three- you've been called international pop sensations by at least six Twitter users. How do you respond?"
"We're just grateful for our fans," Joner says, shrugging. "Making music for the world to enjoy is a rite of passage where I'm from."
Blaineley blinks. "The Midwest?"
"Yeah, it's been crazy. We've been signing all kinds of notepads!" Sha-Mod nods. "Big ones, little ones, ones shaped like circles..."
"I didn't even know you could make circle paper," McLovin shakes his head. "Our tour has been world-changing."
"Eye-opening," Sha-Mod agrees. "And to thank you for inviting us on the show, we wrote a song for you. Ready, guys?"
All three reach under their chairs and pull out three sets of bongos. They look between each other.
"I though I was bringing the bongos," McLovin says.
"No, you were bringing the synthesizer. I was bringing the bongos!" Joner responds.
"I thought you were taking the triangle!"
Blaineley and Josh look at each other, then back to the trio.
“So, boys, how has skyrocketing to commercial and financial success affected your bonds on a scale from “a lot” to “IMPOSSIBLE to ignore!”?” Blaineley asks, grinning widely. The three stop bickering and immediately turn to her.
“You know, we’re actually closer than ever,” McLovin states, matter-of-factly. “Our music is a really hands-on creative process.”
“Yeah, can’t have rap-swing-darkwave without the swing!” Sha-Mod smiles, setting down the bongos. "Or the rap- or the darkwave!"
Joner nods. “It's been chill. Our new album-”
“BORING!” Blaineley shouts, pulling a lever behind her. The floor under the three musicians disappears and they scream as they disappear. "All I heard there was "blah blah blah" let's get to the real juicy gossip, shall we? It looks like it’s finally splitsville for Patjulia.”
Josh chuckles. “Oh, yes, after months of vicious dating, our sources indicate that those villains-to-be have finally called it quits- and publicly, at that. Our undercover reporters came across this juicy little tidbit. Roll the tape!”
---
The monitor fizzles to life and focuses on the inside of a restaurant that looks like a tornado went through it. A chair flies across the screen and the camera whirls around to one side of the room, where Julia is screaming and throwing furniture.
“I should’ve NEVER even TALKED to you!”
The camera pans around to the other side of the room, where Patrick throws a handful of spaghetti back. “You should be HONORED I gave you the time of the day!”
“Your hair looks like a dead rat got glued to your head!”
“That’s rich, coming from a fake blonde!”
“IT’S NOT FAKE! We are so over!”
“You’re not breaking up with me! I’m breaking up with you!”
Julia throws a table and it sends Patrick flying across the room and straight out the back wall, creating a him-shaped hole in the plaster. He screams one final "YAHHH OH HOO HOOEY!!" as he goes flying.
---
“Yikes,” Josh chuckles. “That’s gonna leave a mark!”
“Where’s Scruffy during all this, you may ask? Well, they’re busy interning for Sierra of Reality, Weekly!” Blaineley announces.
An image of Scruffy wearing a pair of sunglasses and an earpiece, walking beside a woman with dark brown hair in her 30s flashes across the screen.
"What an upgrade from Total Takes, wouldn't you say?"
"Oh absolutely- especially after Wawanakwagate,"
Blaineley nods. "But, speaking of relationships- Bonsar- to date or not to date?”
Josh grins. “That IS the question! The two best friends were seen holding hands downtown, sending fans WILD! In a recent press statement, Caesar did little to calm the masses,”
---
The monitor changes scenes to a press conference. Standing before a crowd of reporters and microphones, Caesar adjusts his bow tie and clears his throat while Bonnie is sitting on the stage, playing on their Switch.
“I just want to restate that Bonnie and I are under no obligation to explain anything to the press,”
A reporter waves his hand. “So are you dating or not?”
Caesar smacks his forehead.
---
"Looks like trouble in paradise to me, Blain!"
"You said it, Josh! You know who's been sailing on smooth seas lately, though? Maxchela!"
"OMG, totally! Fans are still swooning over Max and Michela after they were named Reality couple of the year by Reality, Weekly,"
“Unfortunately, we here at Celebrity Manhunt were unable to reach the two for comment. Luckily, our star reporter under the pseudonym “Noco”, was able to get the inside scoop!” Blaineley smiles.
The camera pans over to Noco, who’s half-shadowed to protect his identity. He clears his throat. “I just want to say, first of all, that my findings have reliable and true evidence behind them,”
He stands and pulls a poster down behind him- revealing a screen covered in images of Max and Julia with strings between them. “Let’s say, hypothetically, that Maxchela was staged,”
The light above him suddenly flickers on. He sighs.
“OOOKAY THEN!” Blaineley says, redirecting the camera back over to her. “More on that later! In the meantime, we have a very special guest joining us today- one you Canadian viewers at home might recognize right away as the household name of the month!"
Josh grins. “When Chris McLean’s arrest became an international media sensation, sparking thousands of internet “memes” after his mugshot went viral, there was one name to take the claim to fame,”
“Toronto Environmental Coalition’s own leader, Albert, led an independent investigation of Wawanakwa after former contestant Scary came forward with a case- but it was him who found evidence of illegal radioactive materials on the island,” Blaineley continues, images of the investigation flashing across the screen. "The case brought international attention to the Coalition, and to Albert himself."
“The scandal broke the Wawanakwa mystery wide open. Here with us today is Canada's sweetheart, Albert,”
The camera zooms out and reveals a third person at the table. Albert- a teenage boy with dark brown hair, wearing a gray windbreaker- adjusts his lav mic and then smiles awkwardly.
“So, Albert- since your case went viral, you’ve been called a top-notch advocate, a genius, even a national hero. How does it feel to be getting all this attention?”
He thinks for a moment. “Um… well, I suppose at the end of the day the only thing that matters is the coalition, and the attention has drawn in a lot of donations!”
“Yeah, whatever,” Blaineley chuckles. “You’re the star of an international scandal- you’re a hero! How does it feel?”
“Uh… fine. I guess. What I’d really prefer talking about is the monthly agenda for the TEC, we’re planning on hosting a protest at a meat processing plant in-”
Josh clears his throat. “Our sources indicate that you and Scary were an item at one point. Is this true?”
Albert goes pale. “I- um, no comment, thank you,” he then leans in to whisper. “I thought we were going to be talking about the coalition.”
“On this show? No chance!” Blaineley shouts, startling him and sending him flying backwards. “Celebrity Manhunt is about the drama, drama, drama!”
Albert cringes. “Is there anything else we can talk about, then?”
"We can talk about the juicy, juicy drama happening on the red carpet right now," Blaineley chuckles. "Looks like the first of the cast has arrived to the Poultry Pals sponsored Gemmy's!"
Albert holds up a finger. "Um- what was that last part? The sponsor?"
Josh leans in, his palm against his face. He whispers. "Since ratings have gone down, award shows have corporate sponsors now. Turns out the meat industry is bananas for awards!"
"That's- that's the business I'm supposed to be protesting," Albert stands. "I have to go!"
He runs out of the room, and Blaineley rolls her eyes. "Guess we know why Chris McLean was acquitted and found innocent, huh?"
Josh chuckles. "That we do, Blain. That we do. But let's talk about these red carpet looks, cause honey these contestants are serving!"
---
The red carpet outside the Gemmy's is surrounded by shouting fans and photographers. O waves as he walks inside the building, followed shortly by Alistair, then McLovin, both so preoccupied with waving to the crowd that they crash into each other.
Another limo pulls up on the scene and Peter steps out with a short ginger. She shows off her promise ring to the paparazzi and giggles.
Peter and Alistair fistbump as they reach the door.
"Aw, how sweet. Friends forever!" Blaineley's voice overlays the scene.
"It's nice to see those teens getting along," Josh adds. "Ope- and there's Scary, just released from the lead prison she was stuck in from radioactivity!"
Scary arrives next, her hair dyed a warm honey brown. She makes a show of coughing and wheezing as he exits his limo in a wheelchair, then rolls up the carpet.
"My, my, aren't they looking just proper?" Blaineley tsks. "I love that shade of brown on her!"
A photographer gets too close with his camera and Scary stands, beating him over the head with her wheelchair, before sitting back down in it and rolling indoors.
"What a stellar start to the most anticipated award season EV-AR!" Josh squeals. "Let's check in with Noco on the field."
---
“Reporting live from… wherever I am,” Noco says, squinting. He’s holding a microphone and looking around, slightly annoyed. The cast looks relatively tame, most just merrily chatting with each other. “Here's, uh, I don't know. Austin or whatever. Hey, Austin, you and Kelly get back together?"
"No, baby, I've been single and free! To hell with monogamy!" Austin shouts, flipping on a pair on sunglasses, tearing off his shirt and running off screaming.
Noco stares into the camera. “Now can I do my Maxulia bit?”
“Um. No,” Blaineley says, still in the studio. “What is UP with these drama-less hacks?! Someone get Ass and Courtney here, pronto!”
Noco rolls his eyes and walks down the carpet, approaching Courtney, who’s catching up with Bonnie. “Comment?” Noco asks.
“Hm?” Courtney turns, then blinks. “Um, comment on what?”
“Ass,”
“Ugh. None, thank you!”
“I heard that!” Ass shouts from across the carpet. Courtney rolls their eyes.
Staci and Mal walk down the carpet next to each other, arguing about welding. Noco sighs. “Now can I-”
“NO!” Blaineley and Josh yell in unison.
Michela, walking alongside Max, stops suddenly and puts her hands on her hips. “Does this venue feel a little empty to anyone else?”
The camera zooms out- the group is on a carpet, but there's no reporters, no photographers, no fans to be seen.
“No, I see what you mean. I was thinking there’d be more… I don’t know, people,” Max says, then sighs.
“Did we get the right address?” Scruffy asks. “I mean, we’re all here, so we got sent the same e-vite, right?”
Mal pulls out her phone and reads intently. “Yep. This is the place,”
Another limo pulls up and Julia and Patrick stumble out, shouting at each other and having a slap-fight.
Joner and Sha-Mod look between each other. "Hey," the latter says. "Did we lose McLovin?"
Kelly walks up to the two and puts their hand right above their eyes, shielding their vision from the fluorescent lighting. "I don't see him,"
"Who else are we missing?" Michela asks. But before anyone can do a head count, a voice rings out from the distance.
"WAIT! WAIT! DON'T GO IN YET!" it shouts. The crowd turns in the direction it's coming from and Albert runs up, then collapses on the carpet, wheezing. "Don't go in..." he coughs. "Protest..."
"What's this supposed to be?" Ass asks, putting their hands on their hips.
Albert takes a moment to compose himself, then stands. He dusts off his windbreaker and pants, then pulls a small card out of his pocket. It reads "TEC Charter: LEADER".
"My name is Albert, and I am condemning this award show on behalf of the Toronto Environmental Coalition!"
"What award show, Einstein?" Ass snaps. "There's nothing out here!"
Albert looks around. Nothing but crickets. "Oh,"
Bonnie sighs and walks past him, approaching the doors of the supposed venue. “Let me guess-” they open one and the entire front of the building collapses. "Yep. Thought as much,"
“It’s CARDBOARD?!” Caesar shouts. “My hair took FOUR HOURS to do!”
“This has got to be some kind of Chris thing,” Staci says, crossing her arms. “Maybe it’s a scavenger hunt.”
“Oh, no, no way. I am not playing these little games again,” Ass says. “I’m going home.”
“Hey, everyone, we're still missing people,” Kelly says.
Austin pops out of nowhere. “Yeah, baby, where’s the rest of the party at?”
Courtney does a quick headcount, then thinks for a moment. "I don't see O, Scary, Kitty, McLovin, Alistair, or Peter,"
"Kitty's in an Australian prison," Patrick says nonchalantly. Everyone turns to him. "What?"
"Never mind that. We need to figure out what's going on," Michela says, hands on her hips again.
Mal chuckles from across the carpet. "Guys, you should see this,"
The crowd hesitantly approaches her, peering over her shoulder to see a live broadcast of the Gemmy's on her phone.
"And the award for Best Reality Ensemble goes to... the teens of Total Takes!" the announcer shouts.
Peter, O, McLovin, and Alistair look nervously around their seats, as if trying to catch a glimpse of where everyone else disappeared to.
"Oh, crap," Julia sighs. "We got sent the wrong damn address."
"Are you guys watching the Gemmy's?" a voice from ahead pipes up. The crowd diverts their attention from Mal's phone to see a scrawny boy standing on the street in front of them, drinking a slurpee loudly. "Cause it's a total hack. It's rigged by the woke police."
"Who are you?" Ass asks, crossing their arms.
"I'm Phillip, but you can call me Alejandro," he says confidently. "I was just out training, to fight SJWs. You know how it is."
He does a few karate punches. No one seems very impressed.
"Do you know where the Gemmy's are?" Courtney chimes in.
"Oh, yeah. They're way across town. They're wrapping up soon, anyway, you shouldn't bother with them. Everything comes to an end, after all,"
"Ooookay," Michela says. Max rolls his eyes.
"Do you guys ever think about how red slurpees make your mouth look like you've been drinking blood... heh... just me, then... I have a twisted mind,"
"Am I dead?" Ass turns to Courtney. "Did I die and go to hell?"
"Enough whining. I'm going home," Bonnie snaps.
"NOT so fast!" A voice shouts. The sound of a helicopter hanging overhead makes everyone jump and turn skywards. Chris McLean pilots the aircraft, making a smooth landing in front of the teens (but not before sending Phillip and Austin flying in the wind).
The disgraced host steps out of his helicopter, grinning. "You teens have a contract to uphold!"
"What is going on?" Caesar demands. "This wasn't in my contract!"
"Oh, right. You're "exempt" because of your "lawsuit"," Chris air quotes, rolling his eyes. "Bonnie, on the other hand..."
Caesar pales. Bonnie chimes in. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about a brand-spanking-new season of Total Takes- that's right- we're doing TOTAL TAKES: WORLD TOUR!"
No one makes any noise besides Scruffy, who squeals in delight.
"Thank you. Glad to see someone's excited,"
"Okay, let me get this straight," Julia starts. "You lie to us about the Gemmy's location, drag us to the middle of nowhere in Toronto, make us hang out with these freaks-" she gestures to Albert and Phillip. "And Now you're saying we have to do ANOTHER SEASON?"
"Man, you guys need better lawyers," Chris chuckles. "You have a long, long few weeks coming for ya."
The teens look between each other nervously.
"And not only you- as your contract dictates, any and all at the time of casting are required to join- that means you," Chris points to Albert. "And you," he points to Phillip, plastered against a nearby wall.
"You cannot be serious," Ass says. "I want to talk to your lawyers!"
"No can do, buddy. This is set in stone. See you all soon!"
He chuckles as he gets back into his helicopter and starts off, leaving the cast abandoned. They look at each other one last time before the screen fades to black.

1, 10, and 22 for choose violence asks?
Thank you so much for your ask! These were so fun to answer!
🔥Send me a number to see more violence🔥
1. the character everyone gets wrong
Fëanor, and in a specific way - namely, his relationship with the Valar pre Melkor. I keep seeing this notion of Fëanor having been distrustful of the Valar from the start, and I just do not believe this makes much sense. He was their special little guy! They loved and adored him! Aulë said he was the greatest of the Eldar! Varda hallowed his Silmarils! Oromë accepted his son into the Hunt and even gave him a magical puppy!
To me, the most subtle, but telling piece of evidence is that when the Valar decreed that if Finwë wished to marry Indis, Míriel would have to remain in Mandos, whom did Fëanor blame? Not the Valar. Had he been inclined to distrust them in any way, he would have blamed them, I think, and not Indis and her offspring. It would have certainly been easier for him and his everyday life would probably have been a lot smoother if he didn't resent the people he (probably) lived with, but the Valar far away in Valimar.
Do I think Fëanor was super religious? Maybe not; there must have been some sliver of doubt that Melkor was able to work with, at least subconsciously. But I do think Fëanor never consciously doubted the Valar until Melkor came - that was the whole point of Melkor being there. I could see Fëanor really basking in the attention they gave him, and I can see him being best friends with Aulë in particular.
10. worst part of fanon
You thought I was going to bring up the Void again? Wrong! That is for another day. Today, I will speak on Fëanor and the relationship with his little half-siblings being portrayed as, well, horrible. I have already seen a post going around about how his relationship with them was probably a lot more nuanced than “he despised them” (I will look for that post and link it if I can find it); this is more about his treatment of them. This is just a small thing, but it is so important to me - namely, I despise Fëanor being in any way hateful or even just mean to them when they are children.
He is presumably old enough when they are born to understand that (even in his mind where he blames Indis for all his misfortunes) it is cruel to be mean to literal children, even to ignore them when they speak to you or want to play with you. I am fully convinced (and this is my personal headcanon of him) that Fëanor, no matter how he felt about them, would be nice to his little siblings in their presence. He would not ignore them or dismiss them, ever, because he could not. What he does is avoid his family altogether, by being home as rarely as possible. He loves to spend time at the forge or out camping with Nerdanel because being away from home is the only way he can avoid the dilemma of "the mere existence of this child reminds me of all my issues and trauma but he is so adorable when he asks me to read him his story book and I could not physically say no even if I wanted to, which I do not because I'm not a MONSTER."
22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores
I made a post about this before, but after the Doom of Mandos is pronounced, Fëanor adds a line to it, just one line - that the deeds of the Noldor shall forever be remembered in song. Coincidentally, Maglor (who presumably never finds out the Doom is lifted, if Mandos could even lift Fëanor’s addendum with it at all) ends up wandering the shores of Middle-Earth forever in lament ...
Oh, it's just so beautifully painful and so narratively satisfying. A small detail that is easily missed, but it just seems to fit too well for it to be a mere coincidence. I think about it very often.
On a more cheerful note, I also love the passage of the Silmarillion where Finrod goes hunting with Maedhros and Maglor, but gets bored and simply rides off.
Tumblr media
Really, that is what he does, that is what happens. It sounds as if he doesn't even tell anyone, he just rides off not to return. I like to picture Maedhros and Maglor panicking because they're worried people will think they murdered him or something.

Request: Yes (Tumblr user)
Summary: During one of the Avengers' missions, you tag along only for the mission to take an unexpected turn.
"Do you understand the plan?" Your mother asked you again as she placed her hands on your shoulders firmly
You rolled your eyes "Yes, Mama. You've already told me this. I get it." You answered bored
Why is she treating you like such a child when, obviously, you are not?!
If Fury thought you were ready to be in the field why can't Natasha accept it too?!
Natasha let out a deep sigh and nodded "I just want you to be safe, baby. You're all I have in this world." She pulled you in for a tight hug "I won't be able to live with myself if I ever lost you. Okay? You're Mama's miracle and her entire world. Without you, I don't exist."
Natasha's words made you feel a little guilty for treating her like you just did.
Yes.
She was a little overprotective.
But you understood her concern.
No mother wants a dead child.
Especially Natasha. Because you're her only child. Losing you would mean the end of her life and you know it. If you die she won't hesitate a second in following you.
It was an important mission given the fact that the entire team was there and you even got reinforcements from S.H.I.E.L.D.
Everyone was on the field.
Despite your protests, your mother dragged you to a different building, one that was a little far away from the one where all the action was taking place, and instructed you to hide there.
"You'll stay here, Y/N. You got me?" Natasha pulled you inside one of the rooms after making sure it was empty
"No, Mama! I want to be there, fighting." You shouted "I'm more than capable of being the one who takes the hard drive with all the pieces of information we need. You fight and I sneak inside and get it. As simple as that."
"No, baby. You have new orders. And that will be for you to stay here and hide." Your mom explained
As soon as Natasha understood that this mission was one of those very risky missions she decided to take you somewhere safe.
"You better listen to your mother, kid." Tony's voice boomed inside your ears through your comms "She knows better."
"Oh, come on toe knee!" You threw your hands in the air "You can't possibly be on her side."
"I'm sorry, mini Romanoff. If Natasha says you're not allowed in the fight then you're not." Tony replied before the sound of one of his energy blasts echoed
"Y/N, Natasha's right." Steve groaned "This fight is way more dangerous than we first anticipated."
"You guys can't agree with her!" You argued through your comms "I can fight! My mom, it's just being her usual mama bear."
"I wouldn't argue with her if I was you, Natasha Junior." Clint was the one to talk this time "Natasha Senior can be very persuasive when she wants to."
"Oh shut up, bird boy!" You chuckled sarcastically "You're just scared of her."
"I agree with Nat too." 8 more different voices said at the same time
You loudly groaned and Natasha knew she won the argument.
"I love you, baby. We'll get this over soon then I'll take you home and make it up to you. We'll do whatever you want." Natasha kissed the top of your head
"Anything?" You asked surprised "Even eating junk food and playing games on my PlayStation?"
"Anything!" Natasha nodded "Even eating junk food and playing games on your PlayStation."
"Yay!" You cheered as Natasha took off toward the fight
Everything was going smoothly for the team as they were about to successfully finish their mission and retrieve the USB with the information they needed.
"Romanoff, do you copy?" Tony's voice boomed in Natasha's ears through her comm
"I do, Stark." Natasha groaned as she hit a Hydra agent to the ground
"Are you almost in?" Tony asked
"Affirmative." Natasha kicked the enemy that was on the ground with her leg
"Great. The room you need to reach is on the second level. First door on the..." Tony started but was interrupted by an explosion
"What the fuck?!" Sam shouted
"Language!" Was the answer Sam got
Of course, it was Steve the one who answered.
"Everyone retreat!" Tony commanded as more buildings, all around the base, started to blow up one by one
"What's going on, Stark?" Natasha was already running to the building she left you in as fast as she could to get you out of there
"J.A.R.V.I.S. detected multiple bombs planted all across the base. They're blowing this place up. We need to get out of here as quickly as we can." Tony explained clearly so everyone could understand just how serious the situation was "Evacuate the buildings. No one remains inside."
"Natasha!" Clint reached his best friend as he saw her running towards one building "Are you out of your mind?"
But Natasha chose to ignore Clint as she kept on running as fast as her legs could carry her.
"My daughter is inside, Clint." The redhead's voice was filled with worry and fear "She won't leave until I go get her."
Clint wanted to ask Natasha something more but he, as well as his best friend, was thrown on the ground by a shock wave created by another building that exploded.
Natasha's heart momentarily stopped beating as the realization of what was in front of her eyes settled in.
The building your mother told you to hide inside had been the one to blow up.
"No..." Natasha whispered in shock "No, Y/N..." She reached her shaky hand up to her ear and pressed her comm "Y/N? Baby?" She called you with a wavering voice "Please tell me that you're okay, sweetheart. Do you copy? Say something, my love."
Natasha waited for an answer.
The whole team did only to have their hopes crash down when at the other end of the comms was only silence and no sign of you.
Your mother resumed her sprint to the now collapsed building where she hid her most precious thing that she ever had.
You.
The thoughts inside Natasha's head were running wild as her mind instantly started to play the worst-case scenarios that could happen to her.
She desperately started to move away the rubble with her bare hands, trying to catch a glimpse of you, alive under it.
The team hadn't wasted a second in gathering up right beside their red-headed teammate and started helping her dig through all the aftermath of those explosions.
Clint was the one to step in and pull Natasha back by her shoulders and away from the ruins, leaving some space for the team to work and not be disturbed by a hyperventilating Natasha.
"She's okay, Nat." Clint whispered in the woman's ear as she was crying her heart out "She's alive. We'll find her. You'll see."
No one said it aloud but you could see it in everyone's eyes that they knew that the only thing they'd find from Y/N was her corpse.
It was like a silent agreement of getting ready for Natasha's mental breakdown that they knew was coming as soon as they pulled their niece's body out from under the rubble.
And no one wanted to see that happening.
"She's okay, Natasha. You'll see." Natasha muttered under her breath as she sat on her knees on the ice-cold ground "She's my little miracle. My fighter. She's alive under those things."
The, what was once a Hydra base, now ruins, was situated somewhere in the middle of some mountains, isolated from the rest of the world, making the temperature colder around them.
But none of the heroes seemed to care about the cold as they were restlessly searching for you, desperately looking for any kind of sign of life from you, from under the rubble.
The dead silence was interrupted by Tony who, as loud as he could, shouted at his teammates when he noticed a hand under a piece of concrete.
"We found something, guys." Tony shouted sending Natasha stumbling up on her feet as she was eager to see what the team found
Thor stepped in and, using his god strength, lifted up that piece of the fallen building, throwing it aside, not caring where it landed or what it hit.
But as soon as he did, Thor wished he never moved it.
The mighty God of thunder had seen a lot of horrific and disgusting things in his thousand years of life but nothing could have prepared him for the sight that lay in front of his eyes.
It was an unrecognizable dead body that, judging by the way it looked, had all the bones broken and its head was smashed by the force it was hit on when the building collapsed.
All that had remained of the face was blood, a bluish color of the skin, and the illusion that this face once had features.
It was sickening.
Truly.
But not the state of the dead body that made everyone's stomach do a flip but the clear fact that the corpse perfectly resembled your body type, not to mention that it was wearing your clothes and the color of its hair was identical to yours, only that this hair was dirty and bloodied.
One look at the body was enough for Natasha to send her back on her knees as she started throwing up whatever contains her stomach had, up until this point.
Steve was just as quick in kneeling beside her and holding her hair up as he was soothingly rubbing circles on her back with his hand.
Steve felt Natasha suddenly becoming heavier as she was leaning on him as soon as she stopped throwing and the man knew that the redhead's limpness could only mean one thing.
"Hey, Nat!" Steve gently shook the woman's head "Keep your eyes open. Don't do this to us!" He moved on to lightly slap her cheeks when he saw that the shaking wasn't giving any results
Steve's gentle slapping seemed to work as Natasha slightly opened her eyes again and slowly sat up.
Once the spy regained her full consciousness, she crawled next to the body and emotionlessly stared at it.
The team tried to guess what was on Natasha's mind and how she felt in those moments, but if they were being honest, none of them wanted to actually know what their friend was going through as she stared at the disfigured face of her daughter.
"No..." Natasha blankly whispered, her voice devoid of any emotion
"Tasha..." Clint went to take a step forward but stopped
"No!" Natasha shouted as tears made their way again to the front "Please no! Don't... Don't do this to me. Not my daughter! Take me but don't make me live without my light forever!"
Natasha was shouting at anything or anyone who was listening to her as she cried out her pain.
The pain of a mother who lost her daughter right in front of her eyes.
"You want a life?!" The woman shouted once again "Fine! Take mine then! Take my life in exchange for my baby's. You can do whatever you want with me but let my daughter live! If that's your punishment to me for all the bad things I have done and all the killing then I'll let you know that this is not a fair punishment! My daughter is innocent!"
"Natasha..." Steve interrupted her not being emotionally able to keep listening to her pain
"No!" Natasha screamed from the top of her lungs as she punched the ground "She can't be dead!"
Steve quickly hugged Natasha from behind and took her hands into his, stopping her from punching and hurting herself in the process.
Not that she cared if she got hurt now.
"I'm sorry..." Steve quietly whispered
Natasha's tears seemed to have no end as the most precious thing for her was now gone.
But the team's reassuring and comforting words were sadly ending as they had no more words to comfort the mother.
Steve lifted his head to look around at the others who were idly standing around lost in grief.
But the corner of Steve's eye caught a shadow approaching them from afar. Its face being hard to recognize with all the smoke and fire still present after the explosions.
Clint was the first to spot the shadow's face as the shadow turned into a ghost for the team.
"Y/N..." Clint whispered in shock, rubbing his eyes and telling himself that he must be either dreaming, or able to communicate with ghosts
You were very much alive and unharmed, that was obvious by the joyous mood you were in as you walked towards your family, confused as to why they were all having those long sad faces.
Your mother couldn't believe her eyes as she looked from you to the dead body and back to you again.
She was hallucinating for sure.
Wasn't she?
It seemed too good to be true that you weren't actually dead.
She was frozen, unable to move any part of her body as her mind screamed at her to stand up and hug you so she could make sure that you were real.
"Mini Romanoff?" Tony hesitantly asked after some stearing "How are you alive?"
You nervously chuckled as you looked at everyone, shifting your gaze from one family member to the other.
"I may or may have not just completed the mission on my own." You pulled out of your pocket a small USB stick and held it up for everyone to see "Every info we need is here."
The reaction you got from the team wasn't the one you expected.
You expected cheers and congratulations as you were quite proud of your solo work but all you got were silent stares of shock.
You looked at your mother who was having no reaction and you assumed that she was mad at you for leaving the building without her knowledge and disobeying her orders.
You knew that there was nothing more that Natasha hated than people disobeying her orders.
Taking a deep breath, you gathered all the courage you could muster and turned towards the woman.
"I'm so sorry for not listening to you and leaving the cover place on my own, Mama." You looked down at the ground embarrassed, as if it was the most interesting thing in the entire world "I know that what I did was wrong and I understand if you ground me. I kind of deserve it." You shrugged "But please consider that I finished the mission successfully before being too harsh on me." You added
In the blink of an eye, you have been pulled into a tight hug by your mom.
Her embrace was tight.
Tighter than ever before.
The fear of you disappearing once she loosened her hug was present in Natasha's embrace.
You looked at all the people that were standing behind your mother and gave them a look that was a silent plea for an explanation as to why your mother was in that state.
The others just shrugged at you as all they wanted was to avoid answering your question.
Although you did got your answer once Natasha opened her mouth.
"I thought you were dead." She cried "I thought you left me."
You tightened the grip around your mom and rested your head on her shoulder "I could never leave you. Don't worry, Mama." You lightly patted her back "Not even death could take me away from you."
"How about we go home?" Clint suggested
Once everyone was back at the compound safely, Y/N got her answers about what happened as the question of who the dead body they found belonged to remained.
Who would want to make the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. believe you were dead?
The answer is: A lot of people.
Natasha hasn't left your side for one second since you returned home and, even though you understood why she was being so clingy towards you, it was still a little bit suffocating.
"I'm going to the bathroom." You declared, standing up from the couch
"I'll come too." Natasha jumped on her feet
"You know, I can take a bath without my mama's help and bath toys." You attempted to light up the mood with a poorly made-up joke
You instantly regretted making it as it sent Natasha sobbing all over again because you refused her help.
"No, Mama..." You sighed as you brought her in a hug "I'm sorry..."
Natasha nodded as she kept on crying on your shoulder.
"Okay, fine. I'll let you help me take a bath." You rubbed her back up and down
"Really?" Natasha sniffed, lifting her head to look at you
"Really." You agreed "You're one manipulative person you know." You smirked
That made Natasha chuckle.
And she did indeed help you.
She helped you take a bath, change your clothes, and even feed you with her own hands.
You felt like a baby again but in all honesty, you were quite enjoying the care, attention, and affection you were receiving from the woman who gave you, your life and everything you needed or wanted.
Natasha gave you the world but what you haven't realized until now is that, the reason why she gave you the world is because you are her entire world.
Anything for her only baby girl.
Her only child.
"You are the light of my life, Y/N." Natasha whispered into your hairline as you were safely tucked in your mama's arms, under her fluffy blanket as you decided to have a movie night in her room "I love you so much, baby."
"Love you too, Mama." You sleepily whispered as you placed your head on Natasha's chest in order to listen to her heartbeat.
Natasha kissed the top of your head and just like that, you were sound asleep in her arms.
But Natasha didn't want to close her eyes and allow sleep to take over her.
She couldn't close her eyes because if she did, the image of that corpse haunted her mind.
She held you closer to her if that was even possible as she knew that today, she could have lost you.
You.
Her tiny baby, her miracle, her light and life.
But she didn't and she'll forever be grateful that you left that building before it blew up.
One thing that's for sure is that she never wants to feel as if she lost you again.
She's going to do whatever it takes to ensure that.
