There's a reddit thread on the BG3 sub where the user u/InklingRain posted a spreadsheet they made with all the companion approvals. Super useful in general both for playing the game and for fic, so I thought I'd post it on tumblr and play around a little!
There's a top row with the average approval by companion, but I didn't find that very useful, so I changed it to the count of approvals (i.e. count of approvals & disapproval total, how often a companion had a reaction to something). We all know Astarion gives a lot of disapprovals here and there, but they're only -1 at a time, so no big deal, right?
No. Minsc has the least at only 45 reactions, Halsin at 95, Minthara at 145, and of the main companions, Gale is pretty average at 198, Lae'zel at 224, and Shadowheart, rather opinionated at 258...
but that's nothing compared to Astarion's 406. That's almost 150 more than the next person!!! That's more than Minthara and Shadowheart combined! Babygirl really woke up one day and decided to get in a snit over everything that happens 😂
(Longer post about count of positive and negative opinions, sum of approvals and disapprovals, and some major outliers below. Picture with values at the very end.)
But that's a bit disingenuous. If we look at the ratio of positive to negative opinions (not taking value into account), Astarion's pretty average at 30% (negative count over sum count, so let's call that negativity). This is similar to Gale (31%), Karlach (30%), and Lae'zel (32%). In theory, getting Astarion's approval or disapproval is just as easy as any of theirs, with a 20% bias towards positive approvals. Later companions are weighted heavily towards the lower end of the spectrum, with Jaheira at 13% negativity and Minsc at 9%. As you only get them very late, it's pretty clear that the game gives you a lot of opportunities to get their approvals and thus open up more of their quests and dialogue.
However. We have an outlier. Wyll Ravenguard, clocking in at an indecent 38% negativity! Which really just goes to show, while Astarion is the most opinionated, Wyll has the most disapprovals, making him the judgiest companion of all 🤣
However, this really wouldn't be a good post if we didn't look at the value of approvals. Karlach, for instance, has the strongest disapproval value of -100 (given if you sleep with her and then call it a mistake). Ouch. This is clearly at outlier and doesn't say much about Karlach's changeability of opinion in general. If we look at the sum of positive and negative opinions, this is a very heavy swing, making up 100 points of her total 191 disapproval points possible to her 281 approvals total. Another outlier is Minsc, who currently possesses a 43% disapproval percentage (a heavy -50 disapproval given if you sacrifice him to Sarevok. Jaheira, by contrast, apparently doesn't give a damn, or her value might simply not be included in the dateset.)
Removing outliers is really a matter of opinion here, so I'll only remove the most extreme swings, such as the above mentioned disapprovals.
The otherwise strongest swings are Astarion (-15 for telling him it was a mistake preventing him from drinking Araj's blood, or saying you only wanted to sleep with him, not deal with his trauma) and Wyll (+20 for siding with Karlach during his confrontation with her, which really shows he didn't really want to kill her and is very grateful you stopped him). Halsin gives +40 for reuniting Oliver with Thaniel, which...lifting the shadow curse is sort of his life's mission, and a bit of a unique case, so while it makes sense, I think it's such a unique event that can't be topped by anything else and will remove it. Jaheira give +20 for extending the Emperor's protection to Minsc, and, for funsies, Minthara's heaviest disapproval is -5 for donating to Lolth at the Stormshore Tabernacle. (lol)
I only chose to remove the aforementioned Karlach, Minsc, and Halsin values, as they're all very large swings and rather character-defining or personal to the individuals mentioned, so I don't think it says much about them in a more general day-to-day sense.
Now, using the sums of our negative and positive values, Gale is our most Negative Nancy, clocking in at 37%, which goes to show that while he's pretty average for the amount of things he cares about, when he disapproves, it's a strong one. Next up is Astarion at 35%, and Wyll at 34%. Lowest are Jaheira and Minsc at 7% and 4% respectively, which makes an intuitive sort of sense: Jaheira is old and just over being upset by the players poor choices, and Minsc is an insanely positive person overall. The next most positive companion is Halsin at 13%, which also matches with his vibe pretty well, followed by Minthara at 17%, Karlach at 24%, Lae'zel at 26%, and Shadowheart at 28%.
Tl;dr: Astarion has many, many opinions, but Wyll is the most judgemental (most disapprovals compared to approvals possible). However, when it comes to the strength of those disapprovals, Gale reigns supreme, followed by Astarion.
If don't break Karlach's heart, help Halsin achieve his life's ambition, or sacrifice Minsc, then they're pretty positive overall. Later companions are heavily weighted to approve of your actions, and Minthara is comparatively judgemental, but overall far more easy to gain approval than disapproval from.
If you take the average of all these values and include the later companions to look at as a personality "baseline" of how judgy and how strong those disapprovals may be, then...the Act 1 companions are all dramatic af, which really should come to no ones' surprise, while Karlach is the most willing to give the benefit of the doubt imo.

MotoGP guide
TEAMS AND RIDERS
In MotoGP, there are “factory teams” and “satellite teams”
Both factory teams and satellite teams compete on the same track
Each manufacturer is allowed 1 team per class
There is no limit to how many satellite teams can get bikes from a manufacturer (i.e.  there are 4 Ducati teams)
A team consists of 2 drivers
For the 2025 season, there are 11 teams and 22 drivers
Factory Teams
Factory teams are directly supported by motorcycle manufacturers
Factory teams are considered top-tier teams with the hierarchy; they often have priority access to the latest upgrades and are typically composed of highly skilled riders
The manufacturers design and produce their motorcycles and have their dedicated championship
Factory teams get significant financial and technical support from their manufacturer (access to the latest technology, support for bike development)
Factory teams are a direct representation of the manufacturers on track. the factory team’s success reflects on the manufacturer’s brand and image
Satellite Teams
Satellite teams are independent entities and may not be directly part of a manufacturer.
They don’t have the same level of support from a motorcycle manufacturer as factory teams.
Satellite teams usually use the “same” motorcycles as the factory teams but they don’t typically have the latest upgrades or the same level of technical support
These teams typically purchase or lease the previous year’s bike from the manufacturers.
Satellite teams rely on their own sponsorships and funding (although they do receive support from the manufacturer it is not to the extent the factory teams do)
Satellite teams can switch manufacturers from year to year (when their contracts expire with manufacturers)
WEEKEND FORMAT
Each weekend from Friday to Sunday consists of free practice 1, 2, & 3, qualifying 1 & 2, a sprint race, a warm-up session, and a main race.
Friday: Free Practice Sessions
Fridays consist of only an fp1 and fp2
Fp1 (45 minutes)allows the drivers to familiarize themselves with the track and start setups.
Fp2 (45 minutes) is usually faster paced as teams gather final data and tune bike setups
Saturday: Practice, Qualifying & Sprint Race
Fp3 (30 minutes) is a shorter session but important, fp3 directly influences qualifying
The combined lap times of fp1, fp2, & fp3 decide the top 10 riders who skip Q1 and go straight into Q2
Qualifying Q1 (15 minutes) the riders who didn’t place in the top 10 from combined fp1-fp3 times compete to go into Q2 (only 2 riders advance)
Qualifying Q2 (15 minutes) The top 10 from combined fp1-fp3 times plus the top 2 from Q1 compete for pole and decide the top 12 grid positions
This sets the grid for the sprint and the main race
Sprint Race (15-20 minutes) were introduced in 2023
Covers half the main race distance
Awards points to the top 9
Sprint races are every weekend
Sunday: Warm-up & Main Race
Warm-ups (10 minutes) are just brief sessions in the morning before the race.
Checks the bikes and finalize the setup
Main Race (40-45 minutes) typically covers 20-25 laps
Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers
These points count toward the rider, team, and constructor championship
PITSTOPS
Under normal circumstances, there are no pitstops in races due to how short the race is
Riders and teams chose tires (soft, medium, or hard) before the race based on strategy and durability
Exceptions
Pit-stops can happen in flag-to-flag races, which happen during different weather conditions (i.e. rain)
Riders enter the pits to switch bikes, not tires
The teams prepare a second bike with the correct tires (wets for rain, slicks for dry)
An average pit stop is 5-10 seconds
RACE NEUTRALIZATIONS
Compared to f1, there are no safety cars, as the motorcycles are faster to maneuver than the cars.
Yellow Flags
A yellow flag is shown when there is a minor incident (a crash, debris, or a stopped bike)
Riders must slow down in the affected sector
Overtaking is not allowed in the flagged zone
Once the flag is withdrawn racing resumes as normal
Red Flag
A red flag is shown for more serious incidents (a dangerous crash, severe weather conditions, unsafe track conditions that can’t be cleared quickly)
All riders must return to the pitlane
Depending on how much of the race has been completed the race may be restarted from the beginning, resumed with the remaining laps, or declared finished
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Motogp has 3 championships: the rider championship, the team championship, and the constructors championship
Rider Championship
The rider with the most points at the end of the season becomes the World champion
When talking about rider championships, moto2 & moto3 are both included (i.e. Marc Marquez has 8 Grand Prix world championships, 6 MotoGP, 1 moto2 & 1 moto3)
Team Championship
The team with the highest total points at the end of season wins
Points are earned from the sum of the points earned by the Team 2 riders
This reflects the performance of the riders, and the teams’s efforts, including the engineers and mechanics
Constructor Championship
The constructor with the most points at the end of the season wins
Only the highest-placed rider from each constructor scores points for the manufacturer
Points go with the rider’s finishing position (i.e. if Pecco in a Ducati finishes 1st, ducati gets 25 points)
POINTS
Riders earn points in sprint races and main races
There is no bonus point for the fastest lap

PENALTIES
FIM stands for Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (International Motocycling Federation)
FIM governs premier motorcycle racing series (Motogp, Moto2, Moto3)
Regulations are broken into technical and behavioral/riding
Warnings & small penalties
Warnings from the stewards either made privately or public
Warnings can be given for small things such as track limits
Cash penalties or fines can also be issued to riders and teams
In-Race penalties
Change of position penalties are given during a race
The rider must slow down to either give back a position or let other riders pass
A long lap penalty means the rider takes a longer route through a specific part of the track during the race
Takes about 1-2 seconds off the rider’s time
Time penalty adds up to 2 minutes to the rider’s race time
Given if a rider gains an unfair advantage
Ride-through penalty rider must enter the pit lane riding the speed limit
costs the rider 20-30 seconds
Stop-and-Go Penalty rider must stop in the pit box for 3-10 seconds before rejoining the race
Post-Race Penalties
Position Drop at the end of the race (5th to 7th)
Grid penalty for the following race the rider is dropped several places on the starting grid next race
Riders can lose championship points as punishment
Riders can also get disqualified (usually following a break in the technical rules)
Penalty points
Riders collect penalty points
If they reach 4 penalty points they get a grid group
If they reach 10 penalty points they are banned from the next race
How Penalties Occur
Jump starts
Exceeding track limits
Ignoring yellow flags
Causing a collision
Exceeding fuel or tire limits
Technical Violations
MEET THE GRID
Now that we understand how the sport works and what to expect during a typical weekend let’s learn who to expect

The easiest way to stay up to date is by following MotoGP on Instagram (and their broadcast channels) and Twitter
They also have a YouTube where a lot of full races get posted
There is an official app (MotoGP) and website (www.motogp.com)
Similar to f1, they have a VideoPass subscription to watch the races, they have a current season, archived seasons, documentaries, collections, and a spoiler-free experience
To get a VideoPass you have the option of VideoPass+TimingPass, Yearly, Monthly, and a free trial
A full season pass is 148.99€
Currently, the preseason full pass is 24.99€
The free trials work for 1 grand prix race weekend for full access
After testing, Monthly subscription costs will come out (I will update when they do)

All Star Wars references in "The Enigma of the High Visionary" explained:
Since some people asked for it/were posting that they didn't get the references, here it is explained by a SW fan: 1. "Your child, his vision count is off the charts. I've never sensed a power like it." So, in the SW universe, there is this mysthical entity called The Force, that allows you to do some cool ass shit and some people cannot commune with The Force at all, some are Force Sensitive and possess the ability to tune into it and use it and some individuals are very Force Sensitive and very strong in the Force. In Episode I, The Phantom Menace, two Jedi knights discover a slave boy on the remote planet of Tatooine and they test his abilites/blood for this thing called a "midichlorian count" (which existance was highly devisive in the fandom), which is basically like a benchmark score for how sensitive you are to the Force. This boy, called Anakin Skywalker, had an insane midichlorian count and was basically the strongest known Force user in the galaxy. Also, there is this line of dialogue in TPM:
Tumblr media
2. "How many vision-chlorians did you measure?" A pun on the midichlorian-measuring thing.
3. "It was higher than the Grand Visionary's." In the movies the two Jedis from the gif above comment on how this child's midichlorian count is higher that the count of Yoda, who was one of the most powerful Force Users at the time and the spiritual leader of the Jedi Order.
Tumblr media
4. "He must join us. He will join us." So, in Episode V, Empire Strikes Back, we learn that Darth Vader is the biological father of Luke Skywalker (sorry for the 45 year old spoilers!) and he tries to convince his son to join the Dark Side (i.e., the bad guys) and be Evil Together. He goes to great lenghts to convince his son to join him, as Darth Vader's boss would most likely kill Luke if he didn't prove himself as useful to him/Vader.
Tumblr media
5. "I am a high-functioning dad" Not really a SW reference, but Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader was an absolutely shitty father. 5. "- At the council? - The Council have been blinded for too long. They don't recognise me. The granted me the... the rank of Vision Knight, but they don't let me sit upon the Council!" In Episode III, Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker gets a seat on the Jedi Council (the highest governing body of the Jedi Order), but is denied a promotion to the rank of Jedi Master. This makes him blow up and leads to this scene that has been so memed to death I can quote that shit in my sleep:
youtube
6. "Not just the men, but the women, and the children too." A direct quote copied from Episode II, Attack of the Clones, when Anakin murdered a bunch of people and told his crush about it.
Tumblr media
7. "I thought we could watch your favourite film, The Phantom Menace." A lot of people thought this movie was absolute garbage (Sam included).
8. "I would love to watch The Phantom Menace, the best Star Wars movie." Sam hates it. 9. "happy-J" AJ loves it. 10. "I like how that alien sounds offensively Japanese.", "That looks a bit anti-semitic.", "Sure, that will age well." Some of the aliens in the prequels seem like thinly veiled stereotypes of some racial/ethnic groups, sometimes bordering on offensive. 11. Sam screaming "whooo waaaa bumballa" or something is him humming this song (which is a banger, just listen to this shit)
youtube
12. If you have watched the above clip to the very end, you will notice one of the Jedis got killed. This is what Sam references when he says "Liam Neeson just died."' 13. When Sam does the motorbike hands and engine noises, it's a reference to pod racing, which is basically the equivalent of motorbike racing.
youtube
14. "Meesa called Jar Jar Binks. Meesa Gungan." "That seems racist." In Episodes I and II there is this character called Jar Jar Binks, who is widely accepted to be the worst character in the history of cinema. He is also somewhat a Jamaican stereotype. 15. "I feel a presence." Force users can sense other Force users when they appear in a non-defined radius away from the user. The more familiar/stronger the Force user, the easier it is to pick up on their presence. 16. When Thomas Senior shows Thomas Junior to the High Visionary, it looks like the scene from Episode VII, The Return of the Jedi, when Darth Vader presents his son, Luke Skywalker, to his boss, Emperor Palpatine. Luke refuses to work with the Emperor, to the Emperor tries to kill him. Darth Vader then has a change of heart and saves his son by killing the Emperor. If I missed any, do let me know! Into The Fire: An Eddie Munson x Reader Story Masterlist
Tumblr media
moodboard by the lovely @rafescurtainbangz
Tumblr media
divider by @strangergraphics
Story Description: The year is 1989, and you’re Dustin Henderson’s older sister. The story begins with your younger brother begging to host the latest Hellfire Club campaign at your house. With express permission from your mother, the game is set in motion. Which means the one and only Eddie Munson will be staying in your home for three whole days. You’ve been attracted to him for quite some time, though your proximity to one another has shrunken since you both graduated in ‘86, not that you were all that close to begin with. But this particular weekend, and a surprise accident, brings you two closer than either of you could have ever anticipated. What comes after is a relationship which fulfills you both like no other, with ups and downs to last you multiple lifetimes.
18+ WARNING, MINORS DNI: This story will contain smut, swearing, blood/violence, mentions of sexual assault/child abuse/similar subjects, parental death, kinks of various kinds, anxiety, use of drugs/tobacco/alcohol. I will post warnings on each individual part’s post so no one is taken by surprise, but you read at your own risk!
Other things to note: Eddie is 23 and still dealing drugs, Reader (Use of Y/N) is 20 and attends Hawkins Community College (yes, I’m pretty sure I made that up). The upside-down is never mentioned, though its existence isn’t denied. Essentially, the events of season four (and Hopper’s fake death at the end of season three) never take place, except for the boys joining Hellfire, and The Byers/Hopper clan living in California. Everything else is plausible, but explained as something non-supernatural if the subject comes up, i.e. Billy’s death, Mews being eaten, etc.
Story Parts: Pt.1 Pt.2 Pt.3 Pt.4 Pt.5 Pt.6 Pt.7 Pt.8 Pt.9 Pt.10 Pt.11 Pt.12 Pt.13 Pt.14 Pt.15 Pt.16 Pt.17 Pt.18 Pt.19 Pt.20 Pt.21 Pt.22 Pt.23 Pt.24 Pt.25 Pt.26 Pt.27 Pt.28 Pt.29 Pt.30 Pt.31 Pt.32 Pt.33 Pt.34 Pt. 35 Pt.36 Pt.37 Pt.38 Pt.39 Pt.40 Pt.41 Pt.42 Pt.43 Pt.44 Pt.45 Epilogue

Abortion is Murder & Unbiblical
The Bible does not use the word abortion. How could it? The term itself as a procedure wasn't invented yet! However, the Bible does cover:
Humanity's inherent value and rights as (uniquely among creation) made in the image of God
Murder
Child/infant murder as something abhorrent to God
Life's beginnings, indirectly (although that also has biological support)
Legal ramifications of killing a child in the womb
How God sees and interacts with children in the womb
How we as His followers are meant to treat children
What He expects us to do for the defenseless and vulnerable (i.e., the most defenseless and vulnerable human imaginable is the one in the womb)
And how the question of following Him and His Word is what makes or breaks the difference between a Christian and someone who claims the name but is tragically unsaved  Below are some verses and some additional explication (partial credit: @glowsticks-and-jesus)
Proverbs 31:8
Luke 1:44
2nd Kings 17:17
Jeremiah 19:5
Genesis 9:6
Exodus 21:22-25
Matthew 7:20 - 23
John 15:14
1st John 1:5-10, 2:3-6
Exodus 20:13
Mark 10:13-15 Leviticus 20:3-5 (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/mizzaro_2233.htm)
Matthew 18:10, 14
Psalm 22:10
Jacob & Esau, John the Baptist, Samson, etc.
Judges 16:17  Glowsticks-and-Jesus Collection:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.'"Jeremiah 1:4-5
"The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name."Isaiah 49:1
John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary greeted her cousin (Luke 1:39-45), an example that babies in utero are responsive human beings already aware of the outside world.
The righteous Hebrew midwives at the time of Moses pleased God by saving babies deemed unworthy of life by the authorities of their day (Ex. 1:15-21).
As an additional note -- these references are included above, but worth a second mention -- it's plain that child sacrifice - child murder - is something that God abhors and explicitly does not command. I'd look here (https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/19-5.htm) and here (https://biblehub.com/2_kings/17-17.htm) and check out the cross-references as well. Likewise, there is direct support for laws against murder and the protection of the unborn (up to capital punishment) in the Bible (Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:22-25  -- an additional reference here included about the common misunderstanding of the latter verses: https://www.str.org/w/what-exodus-21-22-says-about-abortion).
In summary -- it's possible (although, I believe, it does deprive its proponents of a foundational basis for the value of life) to be both secular and anti-abortion. But it is not possible for a Christian who truly understands their faith, their God, and His Word to be pro-abortion.

once again tumblr is evil and deleted the ask, but someone asked me what my writing process was and i wanted to answer them.
warning for me sounding decidedly unhinged and deluded.
typically, i begin with visuals. i tend to get fixated on the visual nature of things and how they make me feel. my goal, when i write, is to bring you into whatever that pulls from me whether it is euphoria, grief, etc. i want to walk you along the bridge between my head and heart.
first, i dump. just a collection of color, sound, and imagery. there is usually no cohesion, just an amalgamation of what comes closest to the full-body experience i'm having.
Tumblr media
this usually contains my themes and begins to weave together what i'm seeing. it's like collecting the bones and scrying. then comes the more technical aspect. here i decide strict colors, strict imagery, strict feeling.
Tumblr media
by now i also begin to find a song or two to work with whilst i write. i play it in the background on loop until i've drained it of all feeling and purpose.
i aim to be very descriptive when i write. i want you to feel it so badly. i try to refrain from telling because i want you to invest in the idea that you are the character. i am very immersed in my characters. they are apart of me whether they are underdeveloped or full 3d individuals.
as for the erotic and explicit, desire drives most of it. i write sex simply as i view it in the real world. i'm someone who cannot sleep with someone unless i love them. my body is often a warzone and i need someone to understand it, rather than claim it as territory. this understanding drives me to constantly expose what my characters are feeling at the hands of someone else.
work with the negative space. focus less on the body and more on what's hidden inside of it, i.e. we know, for instance, that a woman's fingers are inside you but what does that do to your stomach? does it make it warm? do you feel like it's harder to breathe? why? why?
i have a strain of feeling that runs through my work. i always refer to grief and love via devotion as my roots. that is the shadow that follows anything i touch. i lean into this because it aligns.
i write the way i do because i've practiced, which i feel sounds so gauche and bland. but i used to write soooo terribly (in my eyes) and now i feel i've gotten better only through repetition and through reading other works/finding other authors that work with the same themes that i do in a voice similar or extremely different to mine.
this is a bit of a ramble, but that's the general nature of it. something that's helped me the most is the idea that nothing is a bad idea; it is the execution that sustains or kills it.
as for an actual routine, i follow this one.
7:00/7:30 : wake up 8:00 to 8:30: eat breakfast  8:30: outline writing plan, choose a word count for the day  8:45 to 9:45: write for at least an hour  9:45: coffee or tea break  10:00 to 11:00: finish writing and reach goal
love you, and thank you for asking.

LIFE SERIES KILL COUNTS!!!!
I said I'd post this months ago when Wild Life came out, but I never got round to it, but here it is! The total and hopefully accurate kill count for every player in the life series. Now including Simple Life!
There are a few technicalities that I'd like to clarify before we start just so we're clear on what I've counted/not counted on certain things.
Official kill count includes when they are completely alive (i.e. zombies).
If someone kills someone in Double life, that is automatically two kills (because I can, and it's technically by proxy).
If someone spawned a mob (e.g. wither) and it killed someone (including themself), that counts as a kill (specifically referring to Grian and Etho in Secret Life).
Kills on the zombies (in Wild Life) are counted in brackets, same goes for the kills the zombies got.
For Gem and Lizzie, as they subbed in in Limited Life, those will counted for them in brackets.
Kill Counts with RL+SiL (Overall)
(As of WL)
1st Place: Grian (51 kills) (64 with Zombies)
2nd Place: Scar (45 kills) (50 with Zombies)
3rd Place: Joel (43 kills) (51 with Zombies)
4th Place: Martyn (37 kills) (38 with Zombies)
5th Place: Scott (36 kills) (37 with Zombies)
6th Place: Impulse (22 kills)
6th Place: Pearl (21 kills)
6th Place: Etho (21 kills) (22 with Zombies)
9th Place: Ren (19 kills) (20 with Zombies)
10th Place: Jimmy (15 kills) (16 with Zombies)
10th Place: Cleo (15 kills)
10th Place:Skizz (14 kills)
13th Place: Bdubs (12 kills) (13 with Zombies)
14th Place: Bigb (11 kills) (12 with Zombies)
14th Place: Tango (11 kills) (12 with Zombies)

17th Place: Mumbo (8 kills) (13 with killing as a Zombie)
18th Place: Lizzie (5 kills) (6 with her ‘appearance’ in LiL)
Kill Counts (excluding RL+SiL)
(As of WL)
1st Place: Grian (46 kills) (59 with Zombies)
2nd Place: Scar (42 kills) (47 with Zombies)
3rd Place: Joel (40 kills) (48 with Zombies)
4th Place: Martyn (32 kills) (33 with Zombies)
5th Place: Scott (29 kills) (30 with Zombies)
6th Place: Etho (21 kills) (22 with Zombies)
7th Place: Pearl (20 kills)
8th Place: Ren (17 kills) (18 with Zombies)
8th Place: Impulse (17 kills)
10th Place: Skizz (13 kills)
11th Place: Bdubs (12 kills) (13 with Zombies)
11th Place: Jimmy (12 kills) (13 with Zombies)
13th Place: Tango (10 kills) (11 with Zombies)
13th Place: Cleo (10 kills)
15th Place: Mumbo (8 kills) (13 with Zombies)
15th Place: Gem (8 kills) (11 with her ‘appearance’ in LiL) (17 with Zombies)
17th Place: Bigb (7 kills) (8 with Zombies)
18th Place: Lizzie (5 kills) (6 with her ‘appearance’ in LiL)
(If you have any questions on how I've counted things that I may not have mentioned, then ask, and I will add it into the bullet points if I feel it's needed! This took about 12 hours of back pain altogether, so I hope I've got things completely up to date (wiki stats were checked last on 8/4/25). If you have any statistics for someone you feel is incorrect, then I may or may not add it in. We'll see LMAO.)

The Tintin Timeline
So the Tintin canon continuity is, uh, a mess. It's a "floating timeline" specifically, which is a literary term for when serialized media takes place during the present of whenever it's being worked on. However, nobody seems to have taken a look at the exact timeline within the canon, and exactly how long the stories take place within Tintin's life. All of the following data is approximate, with most of it taken from the setting boxes (i.e. "Two days later") and by studying how many nights pass within each story.
A quick note: Certain spans of time in the book are designated with vague quantifiers, such as “several” or “a few”. However, 7 days is always designated with “a week”. I explain my estimation where necessary, but I usually see the former spans as being within 3-5 days. Again, these are all approximations and I am not claiming any sort of canon declaration; these are presented for entertainment purposes.
Land of the Soviets: 9 days
Congo: 22 days (Tintin spends at least 17 days in the Congo, while his journey there on the boat is said to take “several days”. Given the mode of transport and the distance, I have estimated it as being about 5 days.)
America: approx. 3 weeks (20-23 days)
Cigars: approx. 2 weeks (15-18 days)
Blue Lotus: approx. 4 weeks (25-30 days)
The Broken Ear: approx. 6 weeks (39-42 days)
Black Island: 7 days
Ottokar: approx. 2 weeks (14-15 days)
Crab: approx. 2 weeks (13-14 days)
Shooting Star: approx. 5 weeks (the main story elapses over 20 days; the last page has a scene “some weeks” later, which I interpreted as a fortnight)
Unicorn: approx. 10 days
Rackham: approx. 48 days (The main story seems to elapse over 45 days, and the last page seems to happen some days later)
Seven Crystal Balls: 9 days
Prisoners of the Sun: at least 41 (there are three unaccounted-for periods, when 1. Tintin’s group is climbing the mountains [“days go by” until “one morning”, which I interpreted as being at least 3 days], 2. when they trek through the jungle [”the days go by”, again 3 days], and 3. at the end of the book [”several days later”, interpreted as 6 days])
Black Gold: approx. 27 days (13 days + “some weeks” estimated as a fortnight. The ensuing album opens with Haddock and Tintin returning home, where they hear Calculus has been gone since three weeks before)
Destination Moon: approx. 144 days (This one has the larges jumps in time. The first 36 pages happen over 41 days, then “some months” pass, estimated at 3)
Explorers: 10 days
Calculus Affair: 11 days
Red Sea Sharks: 30 days
Tibet: 33 days
Castafiore Emerald: at least 21 days (there are 18 accounted-for days, and then a period indicated just with “The days go by”. Given how most time lapses in the book are spans of 3 days, this period was at least three days long as well)
Flight 714 to Sydney: 1 day + 7 days (main story; pages 60-62 take place about a week later)
Picaros: 15 days
Total: The events of the The Adventures of Tintin take place over approximately 613 days.
But is it a linear timeline? We have no word on how much time passes between each album, but we’ll add at least one week between each one - except for America/Cigars/Lotus, Destination/Explorers, Crystal/Prisoners, and Unicorn/Rackham - just to give each album’s settings enough time to transition into a new story. This gives us an additional 17 weeks (17 x 7 days). With all of this calculated together, the series happens over the course of approximately 2 years, 2 days...at least, according to a bored fan who likes to count (ง ื▿ ื)ว

CAPPY!!! Do you have a breakdown of all the oppo moments in the show? Or whatever to you is significant within the show as an oppo shipper?
Hi Jal! I am currently working on my list of every Oppo moment (I’ll put what I have so far under the read more). I’m at the beginning of season 3 right now but there’s some moments in future seasons I already know about ahead of time (I.e Kai being the one to give Zane’s eulogy, basically all of Kai’s stuff during season 4, when Lloyd does his whole “Remember xyz” thing to the Ice Emperor where he mentions Wu, Pixal, and then Kai last (which I think about all the time it makes me crazy)). There’s also some good moments from the books but I’ve only heard them second hand so I don’t have specific page numbers or anything for those. If you want me to break down them specifically I definitely can when I’m not gaming o7
As for what I choose to be significant I don’t have like and concrete rule set for what gets counted. If it stands out to me I add it basically. I also add moments I can do analysis with or support hc’s I have so not everything on here is like explicitly shippy. However they did provide me with some sort of info I felt was worth looking back at later. Also my notes are probably incomprehensible sorry about that lol. Pretty early on I stopped counting them merely standing next to each other as counting, but just know, they stand next to each other a lot.

Vasantachakra
Sort of a continuation of this post, here's basically what Vasantachakra means, and yes I'm quoting from the same scripture, word for word.
CW: semi-nudity
Hayagrīva said: 43-45. Listen, O excellent sage, to the (enumeration of deities stationed in different Cakras (mystical circles). Kālacakra has been mentioned before. Vasantacakra (the mystical circle of spring season) is being described. It has seven outer coverings, viz.: (1) Triangle, (2) Pentagon, (3) Lotus with eight petals, (4) Lotus with sixteen petals (? Spokes), (5) Lotus with ten petals, (6) The same and (7) a square. In the centre of all, the deity of the spring season, of great brilliance is stationed in the Bindu (point) of the Cakra. 46-48. Both the consorts Madhuśrī and Mādhavaśrī are seated on his lap. Vasantartu (has four hands). With two of his hands he holds fast the breasts of his consorts, one of the breasts of one with one hand and one of the breasts of the other with the other hand. With the other pair of his hands, he holds the goblet of wine rendered fragrant with flowers and a piece of meat. The mental representation of the persona] figure of all the Ṛtus (Seasons) should be carried out in this manner, O suppressor of Vindhya. In the course of mental representation of Varṣartu (Rainy season), it should be known that the first two Śaktis (viz.: Nabhaḥśrī and Nabhasyaśrī) arc seated on his lap and the other (ten) arc close to him. 49-56 Now listen to the enumeration of deities stationed in the circle of Vasanta. (There are altogether sixty of them, thirty are Tithis pertaining to Madhuśrī and thirty (Tithis) pertaining to Mādhavaśrī). The deities (of Madhuśrī) are Madhuśuklaprathamikā, Madhuśukladvitīyā, Madhuśuklatṛtīyā, Madhuśuklacaturthikā, Madhuśuklapañcamī, Madhuśuklaṣaṣṭhikā, Madhuśuklasaptamī, Madhuśuklāṣṭamī, Madhuśuklanavamī, Madhuśukladaśamī, Madhuśuklaikādaśí, Madhuśukladvādaśī, Madhuśuklatrayodaśī, Madhuśuklacaturdaśī, Madhuśuklapaurṇamāsī, Madhukṛṣṇaprathamā, Madhukṛṣṇadvitīyā, Madhukṛṣṇatṛtīyā, Madhukṛṣṇacaturthī, Madhukṛṣṇapañcamī, Maḍhukṛṣṇaṣaṣṭhī, Madhukṛṣṇasaptamī, Madhukṛṣṇāṣṭamī Madhukṛṣṇanavamī, Madhukṛṣṇadaśamī. O suppressor of theVindhya, Madhukṛṣṇaikādaśī, Madhukrṣṇadvādaśī, Madhukṛṣṇatrayodaśī, Madhukṛṣṇacaturdaśī, and Madhvamā (vāsyā). These are to be known as the Śaktis (of Madhuśrī). 57-58. In this manner, there are thirty other Śaktis stationed above Mādhavaśrī beginning with Śuklapratipat (i.e. Mādhavaśuklaprathamā etc.). These two together numbering sixty are well known as Vasantaśaktis. 59-61.[9] The seats (of sixty deities in the seven outer coverings (āvaraṇa) of Vasantacakrarāja should be worshipped in the Cakra in accordance with the injunctions with their respective Mantras. There are sixty deities stationed in those sixty Bhūmis (seats). They are to be worshipped separately with their respective Mantras by the Sādhakas (Aspirants of spiritual enlightenment). Such is the Vasantacakra. The same is the case in the other three[10]. But the deities are different according to the difference of Śukraśrī, Śuciśrī, etc. Thus there are gloriously splendid sixty Śaktis in the Grīṣmacākra.
We got Vasantashaktis before GTA 6 yall

I constantly see posts about women being afraid to walk alone at night and men’s rights activists jumping in to talk about how it’s more dangerous for men and that strangers don’t pose a significant risk to women. Is that true?
Hi!
So, the answer to this is somewhat complicated. The short version is: women and men have similar overall victimization rates, but men are more likely to be victimized by strangers. This is a result of differences in exposure to possible stranger victimization, such that women actively reduce their exposure to stranger perpetrated crime more than men.
---
Stranger Victimization Statistics
The Bureau of Justice Statistics has an NCVS Dashboard [1] which facilitates questions like these. Using this dashboard, I found:
Aggregating across sex, strangers committed ~45% of all violent victimizations compared to ~45% of violent victimizations committed by known individuals and ~9% unknown.
Strangers were the offender in over a third of all violent victimizations for women.
The overall rate of violent victimizations is the same across sex.
The rate of violent victimizations by strangers is (~1.5 times) greater for men than women.
But the rate of rapes by strangers is (3 times) greater for women than for men.
It's fairly well established that women are more likely to be victimized by an intimate partner/family member than men, and since women and men have similar rates of victimization that difference had to be offset somewhere.
However, this difference in stranger victimization rates is rapidly closing [2]. The rate (number/1000 people) of stranger victimization in 1993 was 57 for men and 20 for women. By 2010, this had closed to 10 for men and 5 for women.
Further, when women talk about "being afraid to walk alone at night", I believe they are generally referencing their fear of being raped. This is notable, because because rate of stranger rapes is much greater for women than men.
---
Victimization Rates as a Function of Exposure
However, the above statistics give a fairly simplistic approach to the issue, in that they assume equal exposure to and effect of crime victimization.
To highlight this: there is a theory in criminology called the routine activities theory which aims to explain differential rates in criminal offending. Put simply a crime occurs when there is an intersection of a "likely offender", a "suitable target", and a lack of a "capable guardian". Thus crime rates depend not only on the offender but also on the exposure rate of potential victims.
And while the routine activities theory is primarily aimed at explaining offending, some researchers have applied the concept to victimization rates as well. In this application, victimization rates are a function of the a group's/individual's exposure rate (i.e., how often they are exposed to potential offenders and environments conducive to offending).
You need only apply common sense to see how women -- who spend less time alone outside the home and who often modify their behaviors to avoid potentially dangerous individuals [9, 10] -- would be exposed to less potential stranger victimizations and therefore have a lower rate of stranger victimizations.
Importantly however, we don't have to rely on common sense, as there has been research on this topic!
One paper [3] creates a mathematical model for the concept I described above, concluding that "fear of crime correlates better with victimization rates when adjusted for exposure" and "an inverse relationship between fear of crime and the usual measured victimization rate ... is caused by rational behavioral responses to crime." That is to say, when people have a greater potential risk for victimization, they take measures to reduce their actual victimization rates.
This article [4] further supports this model, finding that "routine activities are significant predictors of females’ risks".
Another article [5], confirms that "fear of crime is more strongly positively related to [exposure] adjusted than conventional victimization rates" and "some groups with relatively low conventional rates can have high victimization rates when adjusted for exposure to risk". They also indicate that "women’s fear may reflect not just the perceived risks of such a crime; it also may reflect the fact that personal victimization can have more serious consequences for women".
Another article [6] indicates that much of the variance in women's fear of crime can be "largely attributed to women having had negative experiences with strangers". The author also suggests "that knowing someone allows for a false sense of security in that one may feel that they can predict more accurately, and thereby possibly control, the behavior of someone if they have met in the past" to explain why women don't tend to report fear of those closest to them.
And this article [7] specifically acknowledges that "for females, the threat of victimization appears to be affected by rational choices to both avoid places that they are likely to be victimized and engage in defensive behaviors to protect themselves from victimization."
Beyond all that, a simple explanation for the difference in stranger victimization between men and women lies in the significant victim-offender overlap [8]. That is, a substantial portion of people who are victims of a crime are also offenders. This ties into the routine activities theory; people who are engaging in risky (criminal) behaviors are more likely to be victimized themself. This is important because, as we've previously established, men are much more likely to be perpetrators of crime, therefore it makes sense that they'd also be more likely to be victims.
I should note here, however, that despite their disproportionate representation among offenders, men are only more likely to be victimized by strangers. Women are more likely to be victimized by intimate partners and other family members, and women and men are equally likely to be victimized by acquaintances. [1]
All of this suggests that men are able to significantly reduce their victimization risk and avoid a substantial portion of victimizations simply by not engaging in criminal behavior. I recognize there are some situations in which it is not possible -- or at least very difficult -- to avoid all criminal behavior. However, I am highlighting this fact because this doesn't appear to be even a possible option for women.
---
Victim Blame
So, in other words, men have a higher rate of stranger victimization (but not overall victimization) most likely as a result of their higher engagement in risky behaviors (e.g., crime) and reduced engagement in safety behavior (e.g., avoiding walking alone at night) as compared to women.
Notably, this all suggests that if you held exposure rate constant, women are at greater risk for stranger victimization in any particular situation. However, fearing this victimization, partly due to more severe effects of victimization, women take greater precautions to reduce their exposure. This leads to a reduced rate of actual victimization, which leads people (MRAs) to call us "paranoid" and suggest it's really only men who are at risk.
But our lesser rate of stranger victimization is only because we are taking these precautions. Also importantly, not taking these precautions leads people to blame women for their victimization. This article [11] found that "less respectable" victims were blamed significantly more for their assault. This review [12] concludes the same with reference to women who "deviate slightly from ... the traditional female role" or who consume alcohol prior to their victimization.
In short, women are criticized for their "paranoia" if they take precautions to avoid victimization and for their "negligence" if they do not.

Alright so… this a lot different of a post than I’d usually make. But the summer of 2024 during an absolutely horrendous depressive episode, I started a roleplay that went on consistently for around 6 months.
The roleplay was between Simon Riley and a (sort of) OC I have, that I typically use for self inserts.
Throughout this roleplay Ghost and my OC had gotten married and had a family. (I was coping)
I really wanted to share them on here but I’m not confident enough in my drawing abilities. So, I resorted to making them in The Sims. So here they are hope someone likes this 🤷
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley
Tumblr media
Both masked and unmasked. He is modeled after both the reboot voice actor Samuel Roukin and the 2010 comic depiction of Ghost. (Tattoos and mask are both CC that was created to be accurate to Ghosts original model)
At this point in the roleplay Ghost is around 45 years old having retired to desk duties for the 141 a few years after the birth of his youngest son.
Nicole Riley (My OC)
Tumblr media
(Pretty much me… but not? Hope that makes sense.)
Nicole Riley, formerly Nicole Massey, is currently about 37 years old having a 9 year age gap with Simon. She is a freelance writer and stay at home mother to their many children.
Simon and Nicole met through mutual friend Soap McTavish when Soap had invited Simon to the bar with him in celebration of Nicole’s birthday. They married shortly after discovering Nicole’s pregnancy with their first child.
Elizabeth Joseph Riley or ‘Lizzy’
Tumblr media
Named after Simon’s late Sister-in-law (Beth) and Nephew (Joseph). Lizzy is a sweet, loyal, and outgoing 14 year old who loves all things pink. (The purple shoes are absolutely significant)
She is the oldest and first born of the couple’s biological children. Lizzy takes after her uncle Soap in personality and her mother in looks.
Johnathan and Thomas Riley or ‘Johnny’ and ‘Tommy’
Tumblr media
Twins Johnny and Tommy, 12 years old, are both named after significant figures in Simon’s life.
Jonathan (left) being a combination name of Price and Soap. Is an active and socially inclined kid who loves sports and being outside.
Tommy (right), named after Simon’s late older brother, is the more reserved and quiet of the two with a more logical and academic mind. Taking much more after his father with his observational demeanor and loyalty.
Unfortunately, as the role-play followed the events of the MW3 reboot, Soap passed shortly after the birth of the twins leaving Johnny and Tommy the last of the Riley children to meet their uncle Soap.
Oliver Kyle Riley or ‘Olly’ and ‘Tav’
Tumblr media
Olly is the youngest of the couples biological Children, named after his uncle Gaz. He is now 6 years old and a very bright and independent young boy.
Shortly after Olly’s birth a furry friend was added to the Riley family. Tav (MacTavish) is a 4 year old black, female German shepherd, named in honor of Soap, and trained to protect the family. She is a well behaved and adventurous dog who does well to keep the kids safe.
Samantha and Elouise Moore or ‘Sam’ and ‘Ella’
Tumblr media
Sam and Ella are the most recent additions to the Riley family. Two sisters taken in and fostered by the Couple.
Sam is a troubled 16 year old girl who’s independent and fiercely protective of her younger sister Ella. Much like a younger Simon, Sam does not trust easy and prefers her solitude.
Ella on the other hand is a cheerful and affectionate 8 year old girl. She is very loving and gets along well with others but, does tend to be more on the shy side. She effortlessly fit into her new foster family as if they were her own and was quick to bond with Nicole.
**
This is a very short summarization of the story line and characters. There is so much more to it and many other side characters as well.
i.e. Alejandro and Valeria and their 3 children. Or Gaz, his wife and their daughter. 🤭🤭
I worked hard on this and was super excited to share. Hopefully someone finds it interesting or whatever. If you’d like to know more let me know and if you read this far thank you!!! you’re a real one 🙏😊
